ANYWAY point being yes, he would be confused. (And perhaps find it a point of pride that he, lord Sesshoumaru, is in possession of such an unusual item. What's yours is his, after all.)

despite whatever the fuck is happening with me now there were several years where i didn't watch/read any animanga at all. and while i genuinely believe i was put on this earth to judge people's boyfriend's taste in shounen i was at this party in college once (during said anime dry period) where someone in passing said they couldn't stand girly shoujo like inuyasha and i was like "ok putting aside the misogyny wtf are you talking about" and he said "you know inuyasha" and i was like "yeah i know inuyasha i had a heart n soul in the 7th grade. that's shounen" and he said "no it's not it's like a romance" and i go "well yeah. i know these classifications get really arbitrary im just saying it's technically listed as shounen" and he's like "kagome." and im "just bc the pov character is a girl doesn't mean it doesn't follow shounen structure/conventions" and he goes "well were there iconic fights" and im like "YES! what the fuck are you talking about fr it was serialized in shounen sunday" and he goes "what's shounen sunday" and that's when i was like i think we should stop talking for a while

Y'know whats worse, more confusing, toxic and horrible…?? I was rewatching InuYasha…realizing he was a complete JERK since episode 1, trying to kill an innocent teenage school girl in order to get a stupid pearl 💀💀💀💀 and he keep saying "why the F you resemble my human ex-girlfriend, Kikyou??!?" I hate to break it to you guys....LOOK!! I love watching InuYasha, I love their japanese song soundtracks, but the fricking problem is how the romance was written each seasons everytime is has to do with Kikyo.

When I was watching the first season, I was like "boy, the gurl just FREED you from the arrow's spell and not even a simple thanks..???" and proceed to chose violence and backstabbing the whole village💀💀💀

And let's not FORGET the costant CHEATING he did in front of Kagome until The Final Act season...???!? 💀💀💀That was SO UNECESSARY wtf..??! The writing of triangle romance ONLY made it even WORSE FFS im about to throw a FIT on THAT BOY💀💀💀 I was closeeee ripping my hair off!!!😓😓😢😢😢😢🤢🤢🤢💀💀💀

I even found a reddit with a screenshoot of InuYasha holding Kikyo in his arms in the Final Act season and bruh....these people were cheering on them..????
