The King of Hearts looked over the pirate before leaning back on his throne, dismissing Viveca’s bandersnatch Braxton with a half wave of his hand. “So you’re the pirate.” he wasn’t much to look at but his baby girl was talking about hearing the song around this one. “My wife, I love her dearly but she’s terrifying no?” he started with a small huff of a laugh, fingers plucking at food made from the plants his middle daughter grew. “But let me tell you, if I believe for one second you have... disappointed... my baby girl in anyway, I will make whatever Veronica could do to you look like a fun game. Understood?” never mind hurting his daughter, if he made her so much as frown, Victor would intervene.

Faith’s Verses
The Wanderer: The default verse, if you don’t specify this is generally were things will go.  Faith rides a Harley along America’s highways, helping whoever she can and hunting all those nasty things that go bump in the night.
Aftermath:  After escaping Sunnydale the Scoobies and Junior Slayers (plus Faith) crash at the Hyperion in LA, taking advantage of Angel's hospitality while they try to figure out what comes next.
Canon:  Anything that takes place within the confines of Buffy and Angel's canon goes here. Starts age 17 and goes to 21.
Slayer PI: After several years of being the New Council’s special weapon against rogue slayers Faith just can’t do it anymore, feeling like she kills a little bit of herself with every girl she takes down.  This culminates in a screaming match with Buffy that ends with her leaving the Council for good, setting out on her own.  Finally tapping into the money both Mayor Wilkins and Dr. Dormer had left her so long ago she returns to Boston, to the home she’d once shared with her first watcher, and takes a page out of Angel’s book by becoming a private investigator focused on the supernatural.  She’s trying to heal by helping people, but it’s not as easy as it looks.
Winter Slayer: While in her coma Faith is retrieved by the Watcher’s Council and swept away under the cover of night.  She isn’t seen again for many years, but word begins to spread of a new weapon against evil.  An agent of the Council who is fearless and unstoppable, and does not care who or what is killed on their path to their goal.  This agent is only known as ‘Kairos’.  But when someone who’d once known Faith Lehane finally sees this agent they’re stunned.  Kairos is the lost slayer, changed and controlled by mystical and mundane means until all that remains is the Slayer rather than the girl.  But maybe there’s still some of Faith in there, maybe she just needs some help to get out.
In the Wind:  After the collapse of Sunnydale and the Mass Calling of Potential Slayers, various governments were forced to take notice of and acknowledge the supernatural elephant in the room.  Most quietly made deals with whatever remnants of the Watchers Council happened to be existing in their borders and went right back to ignoring things  But the United States saw an opportunity.  They gathered up any girls they could find, and leveraged them against Buffy and the Scoobies until agreements were signed.  For the most part they’re in charge, but federal agents are put forward to train as Handlers (the new Watchers as it were).  In all of the chaos of this restructuring Faith took it upon herself to duck out, not wanting anything to do with a government run operation.  But that’s put her in their cross-hairs in another way, with orders out to either bring her to heel with the new program or bring her in to face imprisonment once again.  This time by people who know exactly what she’s capable of and have prepared for a super powered prisoner.
Teen: Covers everything pre-Sunnydale. Starts as young as age 14 and goes up through her calling to 17. From Boston to California and everything in between.
Hogwarts:  Faith's a muggleborn witch from America, adopted by a British half-blood researcher and brought back to London before attending Hogwarts in Hufflepuff house.
Descendants:  Faith grew up alone on the Isle of the Lost, an abandoned child who doesn't remember her parents. Most likely they were simply a pair of henchpeople to one major villain or another who didn't want to bother with a kid, but no one really knows. Without a gang or parentage to claim things have been rough for her, but she does her best to survive on her own with just her wits and ferocity to protect her.
Star Wars Clone Wars:  Faith is a Jedi apprentice in the days of the Clone Wars, her master was ruthlessly killed by a criminal taking advantage of the war’s chaos to increase his wealth and power and Faith barely escaped with her life and a few of the troopers who’d survived the attack.
The Initiative:  Instead of switching bodies with Buffy in season four Faith was captured by the Initiative. They used her to study Slayer physiology, and tested the chip on her to see if it would work on ‘her kind’. It did, and she’s currently stuck in their cells under the college wondering what the hell they’re going to do next.
Super Slayer:  After a falling out with the New Council Faith finds herself in National City. After discovering the thriving underbelly where demons and aliens alike made their homes in the shadow of the human residents of the city she ended up settling in there, more at home than she'd ever felt among humans.
Not Alone Here: Verse in which a teenage Faith, on the run from Kakistos, attempts to steal from an Astra Inze who had broken away from her husband and Fort Rozz to try a gentler way of saving Earth.  Astra takes her in, providing her protection and training and most of all understanding and patience.  (verse with @inze but open to other supergirl characters)
The Space Between Stars:  Faith is the trusted lieutenant of a smuggler and crime lord in the outer rim, sent to make nice with the Resistance so that they can get a solid contract smuggling supplies to their more remote bases.  Contains the subverse ‘We Must be Killers’ with @hopegained in which she works as a mercenary for the First Order and is in general a darker and more twisted person.
Hunger Games:  Faith’s a Victor from District 5 who had a hard life even before she was reaped, in recent years she’s fallen into apathy and pays little to no attention to the world outside her home. Won the 64th Hunger Games through a brutal berserker rage despite her own deadly wound. Her first kill is more memorable somehow, unarmed except for a sharpened stick, sinking it straight into his heart on instinct.
Storybrooke:  This small town in Maine radiates magic, an open beacon for Faith’s senses. So she’s headed this way to figure out what’s up. This can take place either before or after Sunnydale.

Louis finds himself out of place in LA, unable to get at an itch that’s been bothering him for years. He supposes back in the early days, home hadn’t been a place. It’d been a person. He’d etched it permanently into his skin for fucks sake.It was always him and Harry. Stuck to each other like super glue. Pulled together by some magnetic force, existing in their own bubble. Everyone could see it, but that was half the problem, wasn’t it?
It’s not like Louis can pinpoint the exact moment in time when him and Harry fell out of sync. There wasn’t really one at all. It had been a gradual slip, like the tide wearing away at a sandstone cliff. Chipping the solid foundations until there was nothing left to stop the structure falling to the waves below. It’s not like he spends all of his time sitting around moping over a lost friendship, he’s good at distractions. But LA only seems to accentuate the distance between them. Two separate planets, not even in the same solar system.
Or the one where Harry and Louis finally get it right.

A bet about the pair, who might be more similar than they originally thought, brings them together. Shakespeare, ballet, Disney, football, library chats, running, accidental spooning, Daredevil and Domino’s Pizza all blend into one big friendship Frappucino, but who will win in the end?

Words: 137k
Louis Tomlinson is his school’s resident bad boy and easily the most liked person there. He’s loud and confident and popular. He spends most of his time abusing his parent’s money or partying or playing football. He also spends a good deal of it obsessing over the quiet curly boy in his English class, but no one really needs to know that.
Harry Styles is more or less invisible at the same school (unless he’s being harassed). He’s shy and painfully insecure and quiet. He spends most of his time crying on his bedroom floor with a razor pressed against his skin or trying (and failing) to think of reasons to stay alive.
So, of course, it’s inevitable that they fall for each other.

AU where Louis Tomlinson attends the vigorous, demanding performing arts school: Guildhall in hopes to complete his theatre degree. He is a scholarship student, always having to work twice as hard to prove his worth which has caused him to feel resentment and anger towards his subordinate position.
Harry Styles is the wealthy, naturally gifted actor who effortlessly snatches all the main roles within the class. The complete contrast to everything Louis is.
Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles have had bad blood and despised each other for the two years they attended Guildhall together, making each task a competition between each other.
In the final year, when Guildhall produces and performs an original play, Louis is heartbroken to learn the lead role has been been received to Harry and he’s the second role. He’s mostly terrified, however, when he realises he has to date Harry in the play as their characters. They come together through awkward stage kisses that transforms to hate sex, heated arguments, rehearsal times after lectures and baking carrot cake together.

When Louis moves into the flat next to Harry’s, neither of them thinks it will change their lives. Louis is stuck in a relationship with his controlling and overly possessive boyfriend who he loves too much to break up with.. Harry is content, seeking refuge from the snobby world he grew up in and forging a new path for himself. He does happen to have a habit of wanting to fix people though and when he meets Louis, the gorgeous man with a prat of a boyfriend, he finds himself trying to do just that. While Harry tries to avoid getting tangled in a messy situation, Louis tries to deny that there’s a niggling voice in the back of his head that prefers Harry to his own boyfriend. While both studiously refuse to let change come, they fail to notice that exact force wrapping around them and pulling them tighter together until there just might be no escape from the feelings brewing within.

“Tell me about this pirate Jacala, the one my daughter has taken a fancy too.” After his conversation with his youngest, the King was curious. All he knew was that the boy was connected to the pirate girl that had already won his elder children’s favour, Miss Hook was a frequent visitor to the tea shop, and his wife’s classes for the royals of the isle. “Is he as trustworthy as his sister had proved to be with Viveca and the triplets?”

Victor sighed as he took the seat in front of Hadrien. “I require your assistance Monsieur D'Arque. It is one that required every iota of discretion.” The king rubbed his hands over his face as he tried to think how best to phrase this. “I would rather your father not be involved with this - my middle daughter, Victoria. She has the strongest of any Wonderland magic I have ever seen. But with the barrier and unable to access her magic, it’s twisting. I worry there is only so much Jacan can do for her - is there anything I can do as her father to stop the night horrors her magic causes?”

“Victoria is dealing with the unfortunate task of dealing with her mother’s classes for today.” It wasn’t often that Veronica pulled Victoria from his classes, after all, the triplets worked better as a triad, hence why his wife focused on Viveca and Vivian more. “Vlad and Valerian are currently training with Jacan and Jaeden, Jacala is with them because she’ll pick up on what they are missing, so today dear boy, you’re training with me. Understood? We’ll first go over some of the theory of Wonderland. See how far we get.”

“Princess.” The King held his arms out to his daughter. He cared for all his children, but Victoria was special, she was the one he actually worried about. Her night terrors, the madness of a land she had never walked on. The last few days had been particularly tricky and the Jabberwocky assigned to his little princess had done well in pulling her back from the shadows her trapped magic caused. “Give your old papa a hug?”

@daughtersofauradon | Victor and Seraphina
“Would you like to choose who will be executed today sweetheart?” Victor asked his daughter. Unlike his wife who would likely play their children off against one another, Victor believed in showing them all equal favour. Viveca got to choose the previous week as a reward for passing her mother’s test, this week was Seraphina’s choice. “Of with their head after all.” the king teased.

“Son.” The King muttered as he sat down next to his son, whiskey glass in both hands before passing one to Valerian. His wife was in another one of her moods and was holed up in the lounge training Viveca and Vivian. “How is the territory keeping?” he asked as he nursed his glass, piercing eyes moving to his son. He’d heard some of the Fae gang had been skulking inside their borders. “The witches have a new coven rising too - will that be an issue for us?”

“You did well last night. How is my daughter? Is she finally resting?” Victor sighed, he could never sleep when Victoria was drawn into the nightmares. Not only because of her screams, but because he did rather care for his children, even if he struggled to show it given how his wife could be. His words to the Jabberwocky might sound underwhelming and pale by the comparison of what Jacan did to help his daughter, but from the King of Hearts, it was a compliment of the highest decree. “How long between episodes was it this time?” his wife might not keep track, but Victor did and he was sure Viveca was too.

“Please tell me someone has finally killed that damned cat.” Victor pinched the bridge of his nose as he settled down in the seat in front of his step-son, a sigh on his lips. He’d just listened to a customer complain for an hour about how Chester had drove a knife through their son’s hand. Victor’s reply had been that the cheshire only does that to customers who try to leave without paying, which started a whole other argument. He leaned forward, moving a pawn onto the board before leaning back into his seat. “Who are you siblings spending their time with outside the family, and can we trust them?”

“Bring me one of your sisters tea’s son, one for hangovers.” He’d been drinking at Gaston’s tavern the night before and he leaned back in his chair groaning. Hand out for the tea cup and saucer before he continued. “What is the word outside the Rabbit Hole son?” His youngest son was his spy outside their territory, and Wonderland knows, the information achieved was best filtered through him than going direct to the Queen. That way he could sugarcoat any of the more negative happenings.

“Remind me, what is the proper way to decapitate someone?” While his wife got their eldest and youngest daughters to train, he got the triplet’s and Vexen. He ensured that their training with the Jabberwocky’s was useful and that they would be good Wonderland Knights, to defend their sister and future Queen as he would his wife. Decapitating people was just the Heart family’s idea of a good time, so it was more than crucial that one could do so the right way. “How is the alliance you and your siblings have formed going? Are they proving fruitful? Or do we have candidates for the decapitation?”

“Baby girl, where in Wonderland do you think you’re going?” The King stepped out of the shadows of the Tea Shop’s backroom in time to see his youngest daughter slipping out and his hands moved to lean on the counter behind the cash registers, eyes looking up to the rafters for a minute to determine if that damned cat his wife took in for still lurking. “Your mother says you have homework for your next lesson with her. Have you completed it? It’s on Wonderland history I believe? She’ll have your head if you haven’t completed it. Now recite to me about what you know of the First Queen.”
