What circumstances befallen the heiress to end up in such a conundrum? An esteemed overseas business trip, one that was exponentially extended by unforeseen circumstances, has her returning to the dark. It was the city as beautiful as the people who dwelled in it, Yokohama. 

She thought she was freed from the dark. That damn Witch and the Welsh demon behind it all - they dragged her along too much in her youth, until the one day she finished business with that red-headed horror. It was a chapter in her life long finished. Yet, it seems she is being rewritten back that light-less passage. It would soon spiral her downwards to the familiar madness.

In the city of Yokohama and a normal occurrence in her afternoon schedule, her presence was ‘blessed’ with one of the deadliest in the city. In the small studio, on the brighter side of the city, the seamstress found herself arranging papers and glancing between them and the mannequins displaying her latest orders. Said orders came from the staunch figure whose infamy grew in the shadows. Yet, it hid behind the seamless and harmless appearance of a doctor.

The staunch, dark figure in a luxuriously tailored suit, with his loose trenchcoat swallowing his silhouette, veils his insidious background with formal niceties and inquiries. To be so removed from the underground world, the young hatter should give him credit to where it’s due. Then again, a shadow like him morphs and fits into any scene, depending on how much light is shined against him. Once the light was removed, that was when the shadow and darkness swallowed everything whole. 

“Good afternoon, Mr. Ogai.” A refined smile spreads on her face. Her fingers hook, tucking behind a silver lock. “I hope you’ve been having a wonderful week. It’s quite wonderful too to have you in my studio. After all, it’s quite rare to have visits on-location, as opposed to appointments off-location.” 

"Ah, pertaining to your order--” Sophie rested the papers on top of the round, steel-top table on her left-hand side. The magnificent collection that Mori ordered had been one requiring great detail and care. Besides the ominously obvious reason as to why, the other reason was that he fell into being overly-descriptive and specific about how each dress was to be. 

She shortly moves to the far-right of the studio, muttering ‘excuse me’ as she brushed and grazed against materials and equipment essential to her work. Disappearing from her customer’s eyes, behind grand stacks of boxes, Sophie begins tapping her finger against her lip. After some muted shuffling and click from her heels, the room was remotely silent. 

In a single-fashion line, the heiress emerges from the crowded yet controlled and organized pit. Though, in front of her, were several torso mannequins as she was carting them for the man’s view. As she lines each dress side-by-side, the young woman turns them Mori. Humming to herself, and making last-minute adjustments by flattening the fabrics on each mannequin, she steps aside on the far right-hand side. 

Her hand fans out, smiling, “All but one dress is ready. Though, what remains for the last dress happens to be a final fitting for Miss Elise. Which is why I thank you again for agreeing to come over with the young lady to ensure that everything is set to go.” 

"While I do my final checks with Miss Elise, feel free to look at any of the finished dresses. Let me know if you have any inquiries and comments, and I would happily oblige you with an answer.”
