He's just going to be hiding and skulking around since he kind of doesn't want to greet them with a happy birthday. So he'll leave at least 2 bottles of scorpion venom and the large bottle of antivenom for it that he managed to acquire during his spying days. It even has a greeting card with a happy smile on it. What is unique about this scorpion venom is that it's not from Suna but from one of the islands from Kiri. And it causes excruciating muscle paralysis and on rare cases deadly heart attacks and strokes.

Sasori didn't get back to his workshop until later that day and was pleasantly surprised by the bottles of exotic scorpion venom. While the card wasn't signed, it was obvious who it was from since only two other people had entrance to his studio, one of which only did out of boredom. It wasn't that person either since the poison was so specialized. As if, from a person with medical knowledge.

Taking the poison, he put it away in storage, excited for an opportunity to use it. Maybe next time the brat got a little too irksome--or for shits and giggles.

Surprised by the unexpected birthday salutation, Itachi blinks, head tilting in uncertainty. With due caution, he advances toward Kabuto, eyes locked on the package held in the latter’s hand. Upon closer examination, it reveals itself as an innocuous offering of hair ties. Despite prodding the bands multiple times, no toxic gas escapes, nor do any explosive seals trigger. Hmm.

“This is… very considerate of you,” Itachi acknowledges, a touch of bewilderment colouring his words. Finally assured of its benign nature, he retrieves the much-needed gift from Kabuto's grasp “Thank you.”

Squints at him for a moment, and then he grins at him, "Happy Birthday to you. What? Did you really expect me to believe that your birthday is on December 24st like the REAL Madara's? Silly you."

He then hands them a gift bag, "Well, I don't got presents for you other than more pain relievers and medication that you usually take for your ailments. Don't go overdosing yourself on me, because if that happens, what would stop me from taking YOUR sharingan from your corpse?"

Despite basically roleplaying as Madara for so long, Obito has never really thought of celebrating his birthday on the 24th... This idea have never even crossed his mind. Should he have done that?

Obito takes the bag and looks at all the pill bottles inside. Has he really won that reputation with Kabuto? It's not like he takes those that often... They tend to make him a bit too drowsy for the work he has to do.

".... Thanks? There's no chance that will ever happen." That will be useful for the headaches he gets sometimes. Then, being drowsy is better than laying his head on a cold floor for hours.

"Hey. Happy Birthday. I'm not sure what gifts you like so I got you some money and this clay that I was told that it was used for art purposes. Who knew that such supplies for art is expensive..." Though unfortunately for Kabuto, the clay is not the kind that Deidara uses.

"Umm...thanks, hn." Deidara said while awkwardly taking the gifts. It wasn't that he wasn't thankful, just taken aback. He didn't expect anyone to acknowledge his birthday nonetheless give him presents. No one had before, afterall. Especially not Kabuto! Though, while he may be affiliated with Orochimaru, he wasn't...bad? Deidara may even like him. He was miles better than the other Akatsuki members, for damn sure.

"The clay isn't the best for my explosives but it'll be good to use for crafting, hn. And I can use the money to get a cake. Thank you," He said it with a little more enthusiasm this time so Kabuto didn't think he hated it--or him.

"Hey, Nagato! Look at what I got for you and I got help getting it!" The small child rushes over to the Uzumaki with a boxed gift in his hands.

"Its a tea brand that's good for your eyes and helps with eye strain. I found it while shopping in the market place. The lady told me that clans with "special" eyes buy these regularly. And people with vision problems. So I worked really hard helping out in small doctor tents, healing people for a reasonable amount of money to buy this. Happy Birthday Nagato. And I'm sorry for slacking off on my chores. I... also have some spare money too from those jobs if you want it."

At first, he eyed the box curiously, and then examined the boy before him, who, just as his words would imply, had been working very hard. Yes the Rinnegan could cause eye strain, no he didn't have any vision problems or anything of the sort, but the fact he worked so hard for him... There's no way he could tell him that there was no need to do that for a gift, not after he'd already done all the hard work. He took the boxed gift carefully from his hands, examining it with a slowly growing smile that soon was directed at Kabuto.

"Thank you, Kabuto." He placed his other hand on top of his head and ruffled it gently, smiling all the while. "Please don't worry about your chores and keep that money for yourself, you earned it. In fact, I think you should take some time for a well-deserved rest. Would you like to come to have some lunch with me? My treat."

Truly, he was grateful just to be thought about. He knew the whole Akatsuki would surely take the time to celebrate, those that could be here today. But these little moments simply warmed his heart.

The Hokage of Konoha

A Hokage is the one who is in charge of the management of Konoha, the Village Hidden by the Leaves . He has the same functions as a mayor of any municipality in our reality. He is usually chosen because he is the most powerful Shinobi in the village, but also for other important criteria, namely his ideology and fame. To date, only seven ninjas have succeeded at the Hokage post in Konoha village. These are six Shinobis and a kunoichi (female ninja) without forgetting another ninja who was able to obtain the status of Candidate for the post of Hokage: Danzô Shimura. Second Hokage: Tobirama Senju

After the death of Hashirama Senju, it was Tobirama Senju, his little brother, who was chosen as the new Hokage (Nidaime Hokage - Second Hokage). he is therefore the great-uncle of Tsunade and Nawaki. It is also important to note that he was the sensei of Hiruzen Sarutobi, the latter having succeeded him under the title of Hokage. Tobirama Senju was the greatest user of the Suiton techniques which appealed to the watery nature of the chakra. It is a question of manipulating the water which is carried on the battlefield or of creating it by modifying its chakra in water 💦 even if this technique is more difficult than the first one. Third Hokage: Hiruzen Sarutobi

Also nicknamed "God of the Shinobi" when he was young and then "Professor", 👨🏼‍🏫 Hiruzen Sarutobi was chosen by  Tobirama Senju before his death to succeed him as  Third Hokage (Sandaime Hokage). He is the son of Sarutobi Sasuke, a legendary Konoha ninja who was part of the  Ten Heroes of Sanada and who was in the service of Daimyô Yukimura during the Sengoku era. His wife's name was Biwako Sarutobi and he had two children, one of whom was Asuma Sarutobi, Konoha jônin and member of the Twelve Guardian Ninja group in charge of protecting the Fire Daimyô. He is also the grandfather of Konohamaru Sarutobi, who was nicknamed " Honorable Grandson" by this lineage . Moreover, he has repeatedly challenged 🤼 and tried to defeat his grandfather in order to become the new Hokage, to be recognized for what he is but more like the grandson of the Hokage. Hiruzen Sarutobi was one of the senpai of the two First Hokage along with Koharu Utatane and Homura Mitokado, the latter also becoming his advisers. Subsequently, he became the Sensei of the three legendary Sannins: Orochimaru, Jiraya and Tsunade . Hiruzen Sarutobi had to resume his duties as Hokage on the day Naruto Uzumaki was born after the Fourth Hokage died prematurely due to Kyûbi's attack on Konoha. It should be noted that the  Sandaime Hokage was the only ninja to have mastered all the techniques of Konoha.

Fourth Hokage: Minato Namikaze

After  Hiruzen Sarutobi, it was Minato Namikaze who was chosen to be  the Fourth Hokage (Yondaime Hokage) and his nickname was the ⚡ Yellow Lightning of Konoha. He was married to Kushina Uzumaki, a kunoichi from Konoha, and they are both parents to Naruto Uzumaki. Minato Namikaze was a student of the legendary Sannin Jiraya, aka  the Frog Hermit . He was subsequently the Sensai of Kakashi Hatake (Seventh Hokage), Rin Nohara the Kunoichi physician and Obito Uchiha. Minato is the one who created the Whirling Orb or Rasengan technique. Even if the latter was not complete, he transmitted it to his master Jiraiya. He had also learned various seal techniques (Fûinjutsu) from Clan Uzumaki thanks to the help of his wife. Subsequently, he sacrificed himself during the Kyûbi attack on Konoha using the technique of Imprisonment of the Dead. Thanks to the latter, he was able to seal half of Kuruma's power in his body as well as the other half in that of Naruto, his son. Minato is today considered a legend. Indeed, he is both one of the most talented shinobi and one of the fastest to date. The ninjas who came from enemy villages had even been ordered to flee when they passed him.  

Fifth Hokage: Tsunade

Tsunade became the Fifth Hokage (Godaime Hokage) of Konoha taking the place of Hiruzen Sarutobi after the latter's death. Little daughter of Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage, and the only descendant of the Senju Clan, she is one of the Three Legendary Ninjas considered to be the greatest shinobi of their time, namely the Sannin. Before being Hokage, she was already seen as the most powerful kunoichi and the best ninja doctor 👩🏼‍⚕️ in the Naruto universe. Indeed, Tsunade has a perfect mastery of Medical Ninjutsu , which allows him to heal and heal any type of injury. He is also renowned worldwide for his use of this Sharingan, which has earned him the nickname Ninja Copier . Indeed, throughout his career, he learned a thousand techniques related to his Sharingan. His skills brought him a lot of praise from his comrades, but also influence in Konoha to such an extent that the council wanted to name him Hokage. However, this position never interested Kakashi but he accepted it in the end. Kakashi Hatake was also the mentor of Team 7 (or Team Kakashi) composed of 3 newly promoted genins: the dunce of the class Naruto Uzumaki, the intelligent Sakura Uchiha and the talented ninja Sasuke Uchiha.  

Seventh Hokage: Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto Uzumaki is the only son of  Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, and Kushina Uzumaki who was the second Jinchûriki of Kyûbi . Since he was little, Naruto always dreamed of becoming a Hokage one day but also of winning the trust and recognition of the inhabitants of Konoha who always rejected him. Indeed, at his birth, his father sealed Kyûbi in his body, which made him the jinchûriki of the Demon-fox 🦊 with Nine Tails while the latter was attacking the village. This event has therefore earned him the mistrust and rejection of the villagers over the years. Who will become the 8th Hokage:

Jiraiya wasn’t expecting to receive a present on his very doorstep, but as he read the attached letter his puzzled expression shifted from surprise, to lightly amused at the straightforward and practical message, to (dare he say it) a warm one when he finally opened the box to find the lovely ink pen inside.

It was perfectly fitting for him, of course, lover of all things frog that he was, and he had a feeling this would be his new favourite travel companion—but naturally, the very first thing he wrote with it was a return letter to Kabuto carried by messenger toad:

‘Kabuto,

As you can see, this pen writes like a dream! I can’t express how touched I am that you thought about me, when it seems my advice hasn’t always been the most effective… but I truly believe you’ll find love when you least expect it.

I’m a pretty superstitious guy, so I’ll hold out hope that the good luck properties hold true. Your generosity has also reminded me that the orphanage is long overdue a donation, too, so find enclosed a cheque that will hopefully help the place out.

Gently placing a box on Kabuto’s desk, Kakashi peers over his shoulder to see what he’s working on. “Happy Birthday,” he says just quiet enough so that only Kabuto hears him.

At least, he hopes Kabuto hears him.

It made sense that even on a joyful event like his birthday which comes around every 4 years, he still had no choice but to work all day even while the children and Urushi are downstairs working on his cake and preparing to cook tonight's dinner. Which they decided to go with Kabuto's favorite food. Salted Mackerel and some other fish to go with it.

"Come in." He said without looking away from his desk as he is looking over at the planned event that the higher ups want Kabuto to organize so that the chances of the children getting adopted and finding good homes would increase.

But Kabuto is more worried about if he would be allowed to do all background checks on the people interested in adopting the children so that the children won't go to homes where they could be exploited or abused.

The box is placed on the desk and he looks at it for a moment before looking at Kakashi with a tired smile, seems that the Sixth Hokage has decided to drop by for a visit. Perhaps he can talk to him about what he should do and what he is allowed to do so that the whole idea can be carried out.

He'll leave them alone as he knows full well about their detest of their birthdate, so Kabuto resumes things like normal. But he then starts to do little things to make his day a bit better. Like making his favorite breakfast and meals, cleaning his bed sheets and room, handling the most time consuming boring tasks, and leaving behind a pricey yet flavorful autumn leaf patterned sake bottle on their table.

With all the Sannin’s fussiness, at least the medic had opted for one sure fire victory. The sake is grasped by the neck of the bottle, to analyze the warm hued gift curiously. It certainly makes up for any fleeting irritation. And with the man tending to the more tedious work somewhere amid the labyrinths halls, they feel it only right to indulge the present. Lid removed and brought to their lips.It would, after all, be rude to neglect his gift.

- at first Orochimaru would wonder at why he´s interested in someone who´s so kind and caring, since he always thought to be only attracted by power. No matter how hard he tries, Orochimaru will notice that he can´t ban them from his thoughts. Also, why does everything they do seem to make him feel happy? It´s annoying, really! Gradually, the wise Ninja will stop trying to figure out the reason for his crush and will rather focus on how to capture them make them his. It´s nice to own something so pure and innocent

- a lot of observing. His crush will probably get monitored 24/7 until Orochimaru knows every single detail about their life. With who they talk to, if they brush their teeth with their right or left hand, everything they eat and even who walked by their house. Total surveillance

- Orochimaru is very confident, lso he would try to appeal with his strength, saving them from dangerous situations or offering to help with his knowledge. Should these situations not appear naturally, then he will CREATE them

- he hates seeing them caring for others. No matter their nature, they shouldn´t be too close to someone else!

- oh how pleasant it feels when they slowly start melting for him. Suddenly Orochimaru is greeted by a smile every time they “randomly” walk into the wise Sannin on the streets or with a shy “Hello, Orochimaru-sama.” (I`m sure they´ll call him Sama just out of respect, it´s always been my very own headcanon). He can´t help the smirk

- Orochimaru knows how gorgeous, charming and irresistible he is, yet he also knows not to play out every good card at once. A genuine smile here, a gentle touch there, maybe even a small sweet kiss… His crush will be falling head over heels in absolutely no time!

- if his crush owns any pets, they will probably sense what Orochimaru is up to and hate him. Remember, everything in the way will get eliminated - “Don´t cry, my dear. You can have lots of new pets once you´ve moved in. I´ll tell Kabuto to fetch a pup or maybe you can finally become friends with the snakes… Now, stop sobbing. I told you nothing in this world lasts forever, only you and me.”

- because perfection is something Orochimaru worked hard to (not fully yet) achieve, he won´t try to change himself to appeal to his crush. They will eventually get to love him for who he is. Still, being the sly scientist he is, he´ll be on his very best behaviour around them: always helpful, nice, thoughtful, kind and patient. Once his crush finally falls for him, Orochimaru will slowly but surely loosen up a bit on his manners and start neglecting them and playing a little hard to get in order to make them fall even harder

- I´m not even sure if Orochimaru will value gifts from his crush. He´ll also have a hard time giving them gifts or celebrating their birthday with them, probably only congratulating. Orochimaru´s wooing is all about psychology and the right timing

- we all know Orochimaru possesses some serious psychology skills, so he won´t rest until he finds out how his crush´s mentality works in order to predict their actions to certain situations and have complete control over them. If necessary, also to crush them in an instant

- “love” and “possession” are two things that he considers very close and almost inseparable (we´re talking about a yandere!Oro, not a Boruto-era!Oro). So the thought of them turning the great ninja down is not acceptable

- therefore, should the crush already have a partner or a love interest, they´re gonna get eliminated before you can say “let´s get this bread”. Orochimaru thinks that it´s no use trying to unnecessarily compete against someone else if they can easily be taken care of. It would come in handy anyway

- you can bet Orochimaru has made several plans on how to lure them make them fall in love with the Sannin. It´s okay if they´ll take time but every move of his, every appearance, every word and every action around his crush are serving a purpose

- if nothing seems to work out or simply to expedite the plans, Orochimaru will try to isolate his crush and possibly give them a reason to suffer in order to search for protection and comfort in his arms…

- Orochimaru lost many people in his life, so he´ll ensure his crush to never leave him, ever. This means that he´ll probably destroy the place they could go back to, their family and friends. It also means that whenever their health starts dropping, he´ll be really worked up about it and Kabuto won´t get a single free minute to himself until the poor boy has nursed them back to health

- Orochimaru will also try to make his crush emotionally dependent on him. A few examples I can imagine would contain making them wake up every time they´re trying to sleep without him. He´ll probably order some of his subordinates to secretly wake them every half an hour with a small noise until they decide to come to Orochimaru for the night. He´ll let that continue until they willingly sleep in his bed every night. Not to be misunderstood, Orochimaru doesn´t even want to sleep with them every night, he just needs to know that they´re dependent on him

- from the start, it´s not the idea of having sex with his crush that motivates Orochimaru. He´s not a very affectionate person and possibly won´t sleep with them much at all, it´s all about possession

- once his crush is his, Orochimaru will probably put a seal on them that prevents them from going too far from him or physically do something he told them not to. “There are certain rules you need to follow from now on, my dear. It´s all for your own protection. Never speak to others. Don´t try to harm yourself. And most importantly, don´t linger somewhere too far away. You´re smart enough to see these orders are valid, don´t you, my love?”

Also, here comes a small scenario because my Oro-loving-ass is too starved to turn down this opportunity!

Pairing: Yandere!Orochimaru x Female!Crush

It was truly tiring, having to accomplish each task her Taichō had assigned to the young woman. Being a Jōnin was something she had imagined to be quite different because gathering information about some ancient clan wasn´t something she enjoyed much. It was very strange how her Taichō bombarded her with one order after the other lately…

Delaying her duties for as long as possible, she took a detour to the sparsely visited library and stopped by the busy, sunlit market to fetch some snacks for Panda. The small cat sat neatly in her jacket and accompanied her throughout most of the day.

Finally arriving in the library, she warmly greeted Hisuke, a man her age that she´d practiced with back in their academy days. Making sure to tell Panda to keep silent, the Kunoichi stopped in front of the towering bookshelves of the clan-related section. The first few hours were spent finding books that had any information on it at all. So much, she had only found three. Letting out a sigh, the young woman looked up from the pile and considered going over to ask the owner for help. There had been a lot of times where he had explicitly not been of help, but maybe he´d this time.

Just as she felt desperate enough to walk over to the owner, suddenly someone else entered the library. She recognized him instantly and greeted the wise Ninja with a very sweet smile. “Hello, Orochimaru-sama! You should be outside enjoying the sunshine and not spend your time with work like me.”

His eyes affectionately smiled down at her. “The old Sandaime wants me to fetch scrolls for him.” The corners of his mouth curled upwards into a smile. “Well, my dear, what is your excuse?”

She felt proud that he even cared about her business, that he asked. With a shy smile she told him about the assignment and Orochimaru tilted his head to the side to think, as if he didn´t know about every one of her orders.

“Let me see… I was studying about that clan when I was at the academy.”

“Oh, really?” Her excitement is tangible like a happy bubble.

“Let me show you, my dear.” Orochimaru teaches her about this and that, about the clan like a wise professor. Like someone she can open her heart to, someone that will protect her and keep her safe. How wrong she is. When Orochimaru ends his patient lecture and she took enough notes, there´s suddenly someone passing very closely by their table. Orochimaru lays an arm around her protectively, to pull her closer into his cold chest and at a safe distance with the possible collision.

The blush on her cheeks tells him that she enjoys it. And even though it´s her adoration he notices, there´s an unfamiliar tug at the Sannin´s alleged heartstrings. Usually, the Sannin would pull back immediately but the library happens to be dead empty with just the two of them. It´s the best chance. His cold yet elegant fingers brush over the sensitive skin on her neck before he strokes a strand of hair behind her ear. Just when he is about to go further, there suddenly is an angry hiss followed by a tiny monster arm leaping lunging at him from within her jacket.

She jumps backwards and scolds the tiny monster cat in her jacket, which glares daggers at Orochimaru. Mh, this pet is a real nuisance, he thinks. There´s anger boiling up inside. It was the perfect opportunity, the perfect change… His fists clench without thinking, yet he relaxes them just in time.

“Orochimaru-sama, I´m so sorry! Surely Panda didn´t mean to harm you.”

He will have to give her another assignment. One that lures her to an even more isolated place.

“A lovely cat, indeed.”

Yes, indeed.

“Hn, happy birthday.” Sasuke grunts to Karin. He doesn’t know what Karin likes, what her hobbies are and if she has any. “Here, I got you this.” Hands her a neatly wrapped package containing new medical tools.

she doesn’t even expect anything from him , wide gaze settle upon the package that sits in her lap with fire flicking off of it from where they sit. eyes move back towards him before back to the gift. she didn’t even know he knew anyone’s birthday , let alone hers. lips quirk as she unwraps the gift , seeing the tools – and knowing that they’ll be useful for later experimatations when she gets back to otogakure after this misson orochimaru had felt that sasuke and karin needed to go on together. kabuto is sleeping , peacefully , she wants to add bitterly – but she had never slept well at night , not since the burning – but this , it warms her. she sends a soft smile towards sasuke , pocketing the gifts. “ thank you. ”

Deidara was silent, not sure what to say or do as a million questions dogpiled in her head. First: Sasori-no-Danna mentioned her birthday? She didn't think he knew. Or instead, gave a crap since he had never gifted her nor talked of it. Though, neither had she. Second: why did Kabuto care? Was it because she acknowledged his birthday? Must be.

Finally, after a second or two of being awkwardness, she accepted the bag of clay and looked it over. No, it wasn't useable for her explosions, being too brittle and cheap, but it would do well just for molding. As she stared it, she suddenly had the overwhelming feeling to...cry? Whilst she did not tear up, there was a hitching in her chest. She was so used to having her birthday ignoring by everyone, including herself, that having it acknowledged was stupefying.

"T-Thank you," She said, cursing herself internally for the stutter as she hugged the bag to her chest as if fearful Kabuto would take it back.
