Tomura thinks that the idea of love languages and classifying people based on them is weird. It’s much easier for him to work with if you don’t use a bunch of labels and instead explain things in clear language for him.

He doesn’t pick up on subtle hints at wanting affection. The whole idea of intimacy is very scary for him but he not only trusts you, but also that you will say when you need something.

Keeping things at a pace and level of intensity that he likes takes a bit of accommodating, but you’re more than willing to give him time and space when he needs it.

Bonding with her can be tricky... she's only really known battle up until her fall... Though, perhaps you both spar in order to get to know one another better? At least in the beginning, until Vaggie finds other ways to bond with someone. Another idea is perhaps the two of you recovering together after said sparring session! CUDDLING:

She's very.. cold... I mentioned in my Lute post that Heaven Born are cold, going off of the headcanon that it is because they were never alive/mortal. The same applying to most Hell Born, with the exception of Charlie and a handful of others.. This still applies to Vaggie, given her being a fallen exterminator. Similarly to Lute, she lays a little stiff during cuddling, but generally lays more loose and relaxed if given enough time to break out of the exterminator.. soldier... mindset. Likes being the big spoon as it makes her feel secure and that she can protect you if anything were to happen.

JEAOUSY:

She gets jealous fairly easily, and can sometimes lose her composure when interacting with you or the other person. She can be quick to understand if someone is coming onto you and you're uncomfortable, going as far as to bluntly tell the other party to go away in a... not so polite way. However, she's still open to communicating her feelings if asked about it. She's not very good at hiding her feelings, so she will talk sooner rather than later.

-he LOVES music! After hearing the audio of him singing I fully believe that he loves music and singing!

-Often times when you play your music Wally ask if he can sing as you play. You say of course and you two become a wonderful musician duo,honestly it sounds like paradise as you play your instrument and he sings

-He sometimes watches your hands as they work the instrument. He’s very confused on how it works or how the noises are made but yet they sound so elegant and perfect when you do it!

-Everyone heard the familiar tune of their favorite musician and the soft humming of the neighborhood darling. It was always a calm and peaceful song which made it better as almost everyone had a bad day. “Ya think it’s working wals?” The soft voice spoke from the musician. “Of course,our friends always cheer up when you and I play!” You smiled at that and continued. -He absolutely loves joyful and happy music but he loves hearing it from you! He hasn’t heard live music since…since…oh he cannot remember when but he believes he’s heard it live before!

-Sometimes certain songs or melodys remind of an unknown memory. When that happens every sees him just sitting beside you,eyes shut,sorta leaning on you,and listening to you play. It reminds them of how a son would wait beside his mother or father but accidentally fall asleep on the floor

-Eddie does love it when music from you is playing as he does his job adds more joy to him! Everyone sees him with more bounce and joy in his steps which is honestly such a sight to see!

-He is intrigued and interested. I feel like he likes to learn about unknown things he doesn’t understand or know about and your instrument falls under the ‘how does it work and make sound?’ Category!

-He’ll ask questions about your music and instrument and why you chose it. He wants to learn more about his neighbors hobby and his neighbor!

-When he’s to frustrated he’ll just silently sit beside you and listen to the sound from your instrument. It always calms him down,he listens to music but yours is special and is just perfect to calm him down.

-You and Eddie were butterfly watching as a new butterfly flew to your instrument and landed on it. “Woah…” “seems to like your music has well!” That made you smile as Frank took a picture of the sight. It wasn’t surprising as butterflies and moths always land on your instrument

-She adores it! She adores and listens to all type of music even if it’s not her type or if she doesn’t understand it!

-She will hum a tone as you play because she kinda wants to join but doesn’t know how! It makes everyone feel so warm and comfortable yet feels like home!

-Julie will sing a few silly lyrics if she wants to! Often you play your tone she’ll get you to dance with her as she wants you to dance with her!

-Humming and a tune playing was heard,Wally wasn’t singing but he knew it was Julie. You two often do duets randomly. “You got an amazing voice Juls” “Aww thanks Melody! Your song and little tune is quite impressive!” “Thanks,lots of hard work!”

-He finds it very very comforting to hear a new sound of tunes! Most times it’s just his market’s music playing so hearing something completely new gives him comfort!

-He does get very stress so when he is stress he’ll go to you so he can listen to your tune. It’s very comforting to him as you play a tune that sounds to much like home…

-He does hum a tune you play often as he works without noticing! It shows you how much you play the tune and how it sticks to them like glue! Yet whenever they sing it they only remember some memory they didn’t know exist

-People we’re going in and out yet they heard him humming the tune,the tune Y/N plays. Howdy does it often without realizing yet no one dares point it out! They all find it wholesome and adorable! on more than one occasion I have daydreamed about Rust and Sophia, young bright eyed man with his whole world in his arms?? bringing her home from the hospital??? telling Claire to go back to sleep because he’ll take care of the baby???? crying over a vhs recording of her first steps when he was at work??? giving Sophia a first birthday party (no Travis does not believe in them) with Claire’s family (who I decided is from Georgia btw) and laughing when Sophia doesn’t know what to do with her cake and throws it immediately off her tray????? Taking her fishing and insisting she has to wear a life jacket just on the dock???? taking her hunting and letting her sleep slumped against his chest in the blind???????????? Not reprimanding Sophia when she learns how to climb out of her crib and just holding his girls through the night?????????????????????

Inspiration typically strikes me in really vivid pieces of dialogue (I have a primarily auditory memory but sometimes descriptions crop up or a picture of what I’ll never be able to get on paper in words), I have no control over when it happens, it’s not as dramatic as prophetic visions but it’s up there and has made me double over to catch my breath once or seventeen times.

Lately all I’ve been able to read are @barbie-nightmare-house recommendations— who should make a reading list— I just started Eileen by Ottessa Moshfegh yesterday. I really love authors who can build a strong sense of place ie To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, Bastard out of Carolina by Dorothy Allison, Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver, and The Bone Season series by Samantha Shannon (and everything Stephen Graham Jones has written, Mongrels being my all time favorite)— but I also read a lot of non ficiton too (usually broader themes in history but more recently biographies) or dig through university archives to read interviews of people who live in a specific time or place so I can eek out speech patterns/phrases/slang/city layouts etc. The book I’m writing right now is set in Washington, USA 1954 so I bought books published that year— The Teahouse of the August Moon by Sneider and The Sound and the Fury by Faulkner (I have not finished either lol)— and pick up old cloth bound books at antique stores, I opened Wolf Song published in 1927 i think and began with a group of men leading a troop of mules which felt super kismet because that’s how my book starts (sort of, with a lone woman and her mules). I love poetry, indy lit mags, and reading modern plays too, I’d love to try to write one myself because the constraint of a stage seems like such a fantastic challenge, but I’ll read really anything that can show me what language is capable of or new ways to play with it, because at the end of the day that’s all this is for me— playing.

I can’t read when I write and I can’t write when I read, it’s annoying so I shift gears when I hit a block, read for a bit until something smacks me over the head hard enough to open a word doc again. Probably the weirdest writing trick that helps me focus is listening to songs or sitcoms on repeat, something in the background with a good beat that i’m familiar enough with that I don’t have to focus on, that helps me break down my sense of time or attention surplus/deficiency so I don’t feel like I’m rushing or going super slow— but soundscapes with birdsong, especially evening choruses with frogs or peepers is really nice :)
