#monster hunter posting#at 2 in the morning#I just think#that glavenus’ iceborne version#lost all the originality and CHARACTER of the original version#and it upsets me#I am a fated four stan so of course#like they went really overboard on trying to make it super dramatic and orchestrated or whatever#and lost the charmmmm#and the VIBES#the BWAAHH BWAH BWAH BWAH BWAH BWAHH BWAHBWAHBWAHBWAH BWAAAAHH of the original was peak#and they KILLED IT#KILLED THE BRASS#my other more hot take monster hunter music opinion is that brachydios’ original theme was fine. it was fine#in fact I think it perfectly fits the pacing of the older games#it’s still good#the new one is still way better though lol but the original was FIIINNEEE#my other fated four music opinion is mizutsune’s rise theme is rly good but the original still clears it#It has more non-stop action yknow#whereas rise kinda lulls every now and then#which i feel like should be the opposite since rise is a much faster game#but alas#and ummm astalos sunbreak them I’m fine with but the original still better I like the more pronounced guitaryness#and rip gammoth but gammoth theme is based as well
