William’s voice is smooth, he’s demeanor calm, the slight tilt of his head and the casual clasp of his hands in front of him giving no hint to the turmoil in his brain.

You’re his employee. His best employee, no less. He can’t afford to lose you, to drive you away. So he’ll make sure you’re not looking him in the eye when his roam your body.

The words that come from your mouth are sincere. He knows this. He doesn’t much care in this moment however. That red vest is pulled across your breasts, and the top button of your shirt is undone, your tie looser now that the building is empty.

It’s his fault, how tight your uniform is on you. He has your size on file, but he always orders a size down, just for him. He doesn’t pay mind to the way teenage pizza boys and older brothers here with siblings watch you, because he knows he’s miles better than they are.

His eyes linger in the plastic heart-shaped sunglasses hanging from your collar, and he nods towards them. “And those? I do hope you haven’t been wearing those all day.”

It’s a gentle correction. No matter how much William favors you, he still must keep his image up. You shake your head. “No, I just got them out of my locker when I closed up with Robyn.”

“Where did you get them?” He asks, leaning forward. The movement is subtle, but he knows you catch it.

“It was a gag gift from some party,” you answer, taking them off your vest and sliding them on. William's breath barely catches in his throat. The frames are the same shade as the blood red lipstick you love wearing.

It’s your signature. It’s how he knows you’ve been in the break room, paper coffee and water cups stamped with your lips in the trash, lipstick printed cigarette buts in the back alleyway that he’s convinced himself are prettier than anyone else’s.

William's brain is rapid firing all kinds of signals, ranging from you're nearly 20 years younger than him, to why have I never felt this was about my ex-wife?

Everything about you seems to catered to William's preferences. You hold eye contact with him and customers, you're great with kids (including his!), and you actually appreciate the care he takes of his animatronics.

He chuckles as you look around his dim office with your heart-shaped sunglasses. "Well, now, look at you. Never was there ever a girl so pretty." You giggle, tugging on a strand of hair and sliding them up into your hair. "That's so sweet, Mr. Afton!" William chuckles. You're picture perfect and William is damn well aware that he's no good for you. "Please, call me William. It's only fitting that we remain on first name basis...as of your promotion to assistant manager."

Your eyes widen, and you let out a little gasp. "Do you really mean that, Mr. Af-- William?"

God, the way your lips form his name is intoxicating. He nods, his demeanor wavering slightly as you beam at him, thanking him.

It’s a power move, he knows. A selfish one, no less. But he can’t risk losing the one competent employee. And besides, the assistant manager’s uniform is closer to his, the pale purple shirt and darker tie, black slacks and black shoes (of your choosing, of course).

[ hello, rae! i still have some time left before the new year begins for me, but i just wanna thank you for making my experience in the rpc a fun, uplifting one. ofc, i know i ended up taking a massive hiatus from kensuke and couldn’t even bring myself to write him long term (since i ended up hyperfixating over other characters and trying to get more interactions on him was like pulling teeth), but it still means a lot you welcomed me back with open arms!

like, i can’t express enough how grateful i am you ended up rolling with my obscure muse choices and just being open minded enough to explore different relationship dynamics with them, whether they be romantic or platonic. HONESTLY, i might not always be around anymore (due to the fact i have work 🥲), but you are seriously one of those few friends i made that make being here worth it; in fact, i ended up initially regaining my love and passion for writing because of you, when previously, i had lost all the spark i had in it following the nasty fall out i had with former partners… and was deeply insecure over my own writing, to the point where for the longest time, i didn’t think i would actually reach a point where tumblr rp would be a hobby i could enjoy again; only, i’m glad i ended up sticking with it, because in the end, i got to reconnect with you and other people i would never have met/written with provided i never stayed.

Do you tell your friends / family that you write?

Half my friends are also writers writers/rp people too so its a boon to my sanity when I don't need to explain how out of pocket my muse choices are. As for my family well...yeah I haven't lmao.

They do know I do DND stuff so realistically it shouldn't be too hard to explain this as well. It'd be more trying to tell them the muses I do and not sound like a lunatic.

Who was your first OC?

its been so long I wouldn't even know. Beyond DND characters there's definitely around 2 dozen characters just lost to time that I wrote down concepts for and never really expanded upon.

I think the first real one I developed significantly was a Fate Master that I still use relatively often to this day. She wasn't anything special, really most of it was just other character traits that I cut off and slapped onto her but that's what we all did way back when. Nowadays I actually have a coherent idea of who they are and not some hobbled mess but goddamn their FC changed a few hundred times and really shows how my tastes went.

I'm talking like Deadman Wonderland to Tokyo ESP to Otherside Picnic to whatever is on my mind today. If you ask how it got to that point I LITERALLY would not be able to tell you it just happened. But she's someone I sat down and wrote out a backstory and all that jazz. Nowadays there's stuff like XIV where I can shove most of my energy and call it a day. But past Allul was crazy don't screw with them.

How do you create an OC? What are your steps for developing an OC?

I'm very sorry that this part is long but really its just me rambling with my bad opinions especially as someone who does canons a lot more nowadays. Anyway...

This is like 30% a shitpost but also like 70% serious. I feel too many people get hung up on handling everything at once rather then taking it one step at a time. Your mind (especially someone like myself who goes full ADHD constantly) just can't work that way delegating everything to where it needs to go. Then you lose motivation, do nothing, all the above and nothing ever gets done. At least that's how I've noticed my mind goes.

Basically my mindset goes

1. Jot down the idea for a character or group of them. 2. Ruminate over how/what they might do in said setting. Main goal smack dab in the middle. 3. What forces/motivations are helping them reach that goal? Friends? Foes forcing their hand? Outside forces beyond our comprehension? Those are the circles around that middle goal. 4. Other ideas, potentially characters that are intertwined with them, etc.

So Teacher Allul is in session and four an example like this I'll do a certain someone that reared their head here for awhile. Ofc I feel DND works off different rules because you are (usually) at the DM's mercy but that doesn't mean you can't have a compelling OC.

For Asuna "Step 2" I really wanted to try and push the whole "sheltered royalty wants to find out about the real world" vibe but not make it basically her defining character purpose. "Step 3's" forces that influenced her was...well her actually dying and coming back as a ghost on top of the world ending threat that the campaign had. The people she met along the way and getting closure with those intertwined with her own past helped motivate her IC to keep pushing to finally get some that ending she wanted and still open the book for more adventures down the road.

For your own characters just existing in their own universes or other canonverses you definitely have more breathing room since you can fill them into the blanks or have something in the story influence them. It helps ease your mind and connects the goals much easier then your own mind. But ofc YMMV and most importantly, you should have fun! If something isn't seeming right look at it later and find out what you aren't enjoying. it's your character and you can do whatever the hell you want.

everyone's been confused what it actually means so here we go XD. initially, i was damn confused on coming up with one cause i want it to be unique? me and @mignonnex were brainstorming about names 😭 and i was thinking of something about powerful women, so queen or empress + the name of my bias, Jungkook. i was gonna go with queenjeon (someone came up with it already) and empressjeon (too long) so in the end it’s just “ressjeon”, easy to say and kind of unique ig 😂

As a reader, I’ve been here around late 2016 I think because of BTS fanfics XD. for my multi one, mainly to read, give feedback and interact with people in the fandom here and for this one is to write and gush only for BTS hehe. Also, I never expected myself to start writing since I was just contented as a reader but then a dream happened (my dreams are always vivid) + and a fmv haunting me for weeks so the moment i woke up, i grabbed my laptop and was writing for the whole day and the rest is history.

so this is actually super dumb, but it’s a name I came up with when I was still in elementary school and it’s actually a gummy bear reference bc it’s “żelka” in Polish and it was my favorite type of candy 😅; actually I’ve been kinda thinking that I should change it because some minecraft streamer started using the same name and got somewhat popular, making finding my stuff way harder; but at this point I got too used to it since people know me by this name and often call me “Zel” and also I'm too tired to do something about it at this point 🙄 also I’m stubborn

           First, I want to clarify that I am not anti-Kaylor. I think they were super cute back in 2014-15, and while I don’t think they’re together any more, I would be happy for them if they were. Especially if Karlie dropped Josh, but i don’t want to get into that right now.

All I want to do is listen to Wonderland and cry; look at pictures from the Knicks game date and cry; and above all, laugh at Taylor’s past beards (looking at you, Tom). Because, if there are two things those of us in the “Taylor Swift is Queer” corner of the internet can agree on, it’s that 1) we’re all mad here (RIP Dianna’s tattoo), and 2) Calcium Hambone sucks.

In that chaotic neutral Gaylor spirit, I was looking through Karlie Kloss’ Instagram this afternoon, hoping to find content for a Klossgron shitpost (see Blind Item #9 for context). FYI, I don’t believe Klossgron is real, but I do think it’s hilarious.

Anyway, I came across a cute little backyard video of Karlie with her dog Joe, when what should come into the frame but a WHITE UMBRELLA.

That caught my attention because of TTB’s long-awaited tea announcement from last night, which was substantively a theory about white umbrellas in a backyard.

I say theory, not to disparage it, but because that’s what it is. A theory that since Karlie posted a backyard photo with a white umbrella, and since there is evidence that Taylor has white umbrellas in her backyard, Karlie and Taylor have been staying together at Taylor’s house. This is a somewhat plausible theory since they know each other and both have connections to white umbrellas, but to call it proof is a gigantic reach, as that assumes Taylor’s white backyard umbrellas are the ONLY ones in the greater Los Angeles area.

So back to the theory. A theory is best tested by whether or not it has predictive capabilities, so I suggest we do that with the two (yes, plot twist there are two) videos featuring white umbrellas currently available on Karlies Instagram from June 26th and August 18th.

Based on the pictures of Taylor’s backyard in the theory, what we would expect to see in the vicinity of the greenery and white umbrella pictured in Karlie’s story, is round, white tables, a swimming pool, possibly another white building, and trees. So let’s see if the theory will correctly predict that. If it does, it’s a good theory; if it doesn’t, it falls apart.

Here, in a still from the June 26 video, we can see that instead of the white, round tables pictured in Taylor’s backyard, Karlie has her computer sitting on a black, open weave table that is definitely not white and round as predicted. This doesn’t kill the theory, but it’s a small knock against it.

Moving onto the video from August 18 (you have to swipe to the 6th one in the post marking the end of Kode with Klossy), and we see that Karlie is sitting under a white umbrella right at the end.

More importantly, before that, Karlie turns her camera around to show her computer screen, and we get a (slightly blurry) view of the backyard she’s in above the computer.

There’s another white umbrella at the top of the frame, above black stairs leading to the back of a tan-colored house, a dark, seemingly pagoda-inspired gazebo, and off to the left, a second, Tudor-style house. With the exception of the umbrella, none of this is present in Taylor’s backyard. The neighboring house being in frame is actually impossible given the size of Taylor’s lot. Meaning, it’s not Taylor’s house.  

Now, of course, all this actually proves is that Karlie didn’t make that story, or the videos that appear to be in the same location, in Taylor’s backyard. Could they still be together or in communication with each other? Sure. Maybe. I don’t care. Again, I’m here for the jokes and chaos.

Either way, it is apparent that the theory Karlie’s posted any “proof” of being in Taylor’s backyard is completely unsupported by the facts.

it’s our opinion (and truly just that - an opinion, not stating this as fact) that both swiftgron (obviously) and kaylor are not together.

if proven wrong on either count we will be thrilled.  the thing we want most is for taylor to be happy (and karlie and dianna as well!)

this doesn’t prove anything one way or another but offers another perspective/view point on the source of the white umbrellas

ofc karlie not being at taylor’s house doesn’t mean they’re not together
