001. What is your proudest accomplishment of this year?

There’s so many that’s happened throughout the year, especially including my album, but most of all, I think it’s best to face the hardest parts of your year so you can take a step back and admire how you overcame them, and I feel as though I found the ability to handle it all, which makes me rather proud of myself given the circumstances. There’s still a scary amount of bad in the world, but I’d like to think I was able to bring some good to a lot of people with my own strength, and hopefully they all found their own.

002. What is the biggest life lesson you learned this year?

It’s something I’ve always known, but I feel as though this year truly made me appreciate the process of living. That lesson of it being that each diamond is created under extreme pressure, and so when I find myself stressed and entirely overwhelmed through a situation, I know that I can trust the process that something good is going to come out of that. If a diamond can do it, so can I.

003. What is one relationship (can be friendship) that has helped you survive this year?

I don’t know what I would do without, Bella. She’s such a blessing that I’ve been spending so much time with, and I’m going to miss her so bad when I’m across the pond, but even if I have to buy the tickets myself, I know I’ll need to get her ass over there with me for our rightful visitations. Bella’s the type of person that could pull me out of a bad mood within seconds, and all I can hope for is to be the same for her. She’s made 2018 exciting at every turn, and there’s so much in store for our friendship, I’m calling it now. @b-hxdid

004. Who or what do you need to let go of in order to make next year even better than this year?

My anxiety. If I could let that go, I know 2019 could be the best year of my life. I’ve had it consume me plenty this year, stayed days to myself and not talk to anybody, a fear eating away inside. And you know what? I regret feeling it every time. I know there’s no reason to feel it. I know it’s a mentality that I’m harboring, one that I know I can expel from my life if I put my mind to it. It creates an insecurity that I won’t allow to hold me back any longer.

005. What did you do this year that you’ve never done before?

I got myself a pig! Not as inspirational as I should probably mention, but I did get one, and my god, it’s definitely a job to handle, but she’s such a light to my life. Shout out to my baby, Piggy Smalls.

006. What are three resolutions or goals you want to make happen next year?

To just stay happy, to spread that happiness to others, and to keep my head up, brush off my shoulders, and let everything flow like water off a duck’s back. Here’s to happiness and to nobody keeping me away from that.

007. Where did most of your money go this year?

I might have gotten carried away with the Christmas presents this year, I’m not gonna lie, but I couldn’t stop myself. They all deserved what they got, and hopefully next year I’ll get to bond with even more people so they all get a piece of my heart as well. And wallet, but I think heart sounds sweeter.

008. What song will always remind you of this year?

Is it weird to shout out my own song? Because Thank You, Next isn’t just about the relationships. I didn’t write it just so I can call out what I’ve been through with the guys I’ve mentioned, or make a diss, and plenty of people already know that. It’s a constant reminder to myself that all I need is myself to get through this crazy place we call earth. It reminds me that I can move on from anything, that I don’t have to hold anything in or bottle it up, that I can look forward and say next to a new situation. A better situation. Nothing can hold me back now from being the person I want to be, and do what I want to do, and that song was written to express that, so I find it to be the perfect fit for 2018.

009. How will you be spending the last day of this year?

Packing up! Aside from celebrating, of course, I’ve still got a big move to make on my hands, and 2019 is the year of the UK for me, and I’ve never been more ready.

010. Who is the best new person you’ve met this year?

Lily James has forever changed my life for the best because she is the best. No, she’s the greatest. Words don’t even begin to describe what Lily means to me, and it’s an absolute honor to have her in my life, to get to spend more time with her. Have you ever met someone that could make you smile just from seeing them smile? Or someone that their happiness radiates so hard onto your life that you can’t feel anything but happy when you’re around them? That’s how Lily makes me feel, and she’s someone that I’m most ready to spend the next year with and learn more about. @lllyjames

001. What relationship (can be friendship) has been the most fun to write for your muse/s this year?

I’ve gotten so into Ariana and Grant’s friendship to the point that I made a manip for them a month before I could even post it, like what even.. And it’s all based off the love of sushi together and plotting out the families they’ll each have. I know the end of this year has been stressful in real life that I haven’t gotten to devote as much time as I want, but best believe that I want more of them in 2019. <3 @theflashgrant Also, I love you, Sam. I hope you’re not alarmed by the time this is posted, I have tomorrow off. x

002. In what ways do you connect to your muse/s?

I like to think that I connect to how happy Ariana feels most of the time.. Well, she’s constantly been happy, and ever since I’ve come here, I feel like I’ve had a brighter look on the year compared to the rest, and her time she’s had here has affected my own time and made it even better.

003. What’s your favorite category to write for your muse/s? (angst, fluff, smut, etc.)

Well, I haven’t written smut on Ariana yet, but I’m sure that’ll be a wonderful time when we get down to it with her and whoever the lucky boy/girl she’s with is, but so far, these fluffy, cute ass friendships she’s making is hands down the best for me.

004. If you could give your muse/s one gift, what would you give them?

I’d have to give my muse more time, honestly. They deserve it. I shouldn’t let work consume my life, when my passion is RP in the first place. RP is my escape, and I’m here along with many talented people that I want to share my muse with, so just devoting more to them is the most I could do to benefit them, honestly.

005. What was your favorite event/moment/memory in HollywoodlandHQ this year?

Appreciation week! I was honestly only here for like.. two to three weeks, I think? And I like to think I went in on trying to express how appreciative I was to be here, and I still am. I always will be! You guys are the best, and it’s an honor to spend time with you. It’s an honor to be in a group ran by such talented and trusted admins and beautiful players across the world. I hope you all know just how much I love you.

006. What muse/s have you enjoyed most seeing on this dash this year?

I really love seeing everybody on the dash, but Charlie’s and Becca’s ( @loutommo-x , @teylcrswift ) always bring a smile to my face just from them posting a queue even, I love them both so much, I love their ship so much, and I hope to keep building bonds with them IC and OOC!

007. What is your favorite thing your muse/s have done this year in the group? (can be in the real world or what you made up)

In real life, I’d say that Ariana’s album and music videos had to be so exciting for her, and I hope it was as thrilling for her as it was for me, but with my Ari in this beautiful world of HWland, I’d say her trip to London was exciting. I mean, she does want to move there now so it has to count for something.

008. What would you like to see in HollywoodlandHQ in 2019?

I think some tasks could be a lot of fun! Like this alone has brought a lot of focus on my character and I feel like when people bond with their muse enough to answer questions like these, they’re more likely to keep wanting to come back, and I love that! I love feeling more connected to Ariana, it fuels my need to develop her, and even simple tasks like a mixtape or moodboard could open up a path in my opinion.

009. What is a plot you would love to do with your muse/s?

I’d love to add some more angst into Ariana’s story line.. I’ve got a plot page, ( don’t look at it, that shit is totally empty ), but I’d love to fill it up with all kinds of stories to play along with, and something that’s both rip and mend my heart could be really fun! You know.. Stuff that people like @ohlizzo and @hqcentineo do that both kill me and make me feel alive. :) That smile is exactly how you think it is.

010. Tag somebody in the RP and say something nice about them. It’s the season of giving.

@hcurly you already know I couldn’t go without saying something about you. I love you to the moon and back, and that trip ten times over. You make every day feel like a blessing for me, and I consider myself the luckiest person to not only know of you, but to personally get to know you and spend time writing with your Harry. The best one, hands down, that I’ve ever come across, and I know I can’t live without you now. I just can’t put it into proper words what you and Harry mean to me now, and I know nothing could ever change that. <3

And how could I do a post like this and not mentioned @itstbellisario. You are so precious as a player and your characters are the same way, I adore you and I love how sweet you’ve been from the very get. I’m shit at my replies, but I hope you know I love every one of them that I have with you, and I’ll forever appreciate you being here in this RP with me. Troian and Haley forever belong in my Hall of Fame.

To finish this off, though, I want to dedicate the best time of my life this year to the wonderful admins that run this place, that bust their ass off to make it the best RP I’ve ever been in. It’s been exactly 2 months of me being here, only 1/6th of the entire year, but I couldn’t have had a better ending note for it if it weren’t for you all! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I could cry tears of gratitude for you, for this RP. Some people may think it’s just some website, but it saves lives and you’re all to thank for that. I love you. <3

001. What is your proudest accomplishment of this year? - Getting to make a speech about the power of body image at the Glamour Women of the Year Summit. As proud as I am of Riverdale (and I’m extremely proud), I have always wanted to use my voice for something useful. I’ve struggled with body acceptance my whole life, always self-conscious about my skin or thighs or boobs and it was only with the support from my family and friends that I finally learned how to become comfortable in my own body. Society and the media can be very damaging to young women and men’s self-esteem as they grow throughout the years and I wanted to use my platform to promote loving yourself for exactly who you are, imperfections and all. I’ve always tried to be genuine and true to myself and to get to be able to speak to so many people..well, it was truly a honor and I try to set an example everyday of what it means to love your body and your soul.

002. What is the biggest life lesson you learned this year? - I have the power to take control of how people make me feel. I don’t have to read the hateful comments. I don’t have to watch the videos insulting me and my friends just for them to get views. I can block people and turn away from spiteful people who think they have the right to talk about my life. I don’t owe anything anybody and the only person I should be trying to impress is myself. The minute I stopped caring about what people thought of me and started to live for myself, to make myself happy, is the minute a million of worries flitted away and I felt myself relaxing. I only get one life and I intend to live it the way I see fit.

003. What is one relationship (can be friendship) that has helped you survive this year? - I’m going to be predictable with this answer, but how can I say anybody but Cole @coleffs ? He’s truly been my rock. Not only in the sense of being there from day one of stepping into this crazy industry to learn how to handle the pressures that come with fame, but he’s also always been one hundred percent genuine with me. I’ve never had to be anyone but myself with him and to feel that love from him, to see how much he cared about me with no frills, no glitter, no pretending really helped me to also love myself even more. He’s taught me a lot - how to appreciate life a little deeper, how to take not take myself so seriously when I can get caught up in the little things, how to be patient and breathe when I feel myself trembling in fear of not living up to my potential. He sees the best in me, always and for that, he’s helped me to open myself up so many experiences. Falling in love is the scariest thing you can ever do and yet with him, he made is so easy and effortless. Cole’s been there through late nights, early mornings, crazy outings, quiet walks, and wild chaos and I’ve never seen him as anything other than imperfectly perfect. He’s truly my soul mate and the love of my life and I’d be lost without him.

004. Who or what do you need to let go of in order to make next year even better than this year? - I’m definitely going to focus less on social media and getting caught up in the drama that comes with comments and unwanted opinions, and focus more on the support that comes from the people I love. I also think I need to be more reckless - not in a bad way, but stop thinking about so much what will happen if I don’t make a certain decision and start thinking about what I could gain if I do.

005. What did you do this year that you’ve never done before? - Where do I start? Gone to Hawaii. Rode in a hot air balloon. Flew in a helicopter over mountains and had a picnic a thousand feet in the air. Was on a television soundtrack. I’m a very lucky girl.

006. What are three resolutions or goals you want to make happen next year? - 1) Bring Addy out to LA more, 2) Do more little things for Cole to surprise him, and 3) Try to get more product and business deals about ideas I support and care about.

007. Where did most of your money go this year? - Without a doubt, junk food and skin care products.

008. What song will always remind you of this year? - Can’t Help Falling in Love by Kina Grannis.

009. How will you be spending the last day of this year? - I think my friend Austyn and I are going on a little trip, but I’m not sure yet! I’ve yet to really set anything in stone.

010. Who is the best new person you’ve met this year? - Haley and Kiernan! They’ve really become two of my newest sisters. @hqhaleyluhoo & @keekshipka

001. What relationship (can be friendship) has been the most fun to write for your muse/s this year? - For Lili, writing SH with Vic has been incredibly sweet and I’m grateful she was willing to keep their relationship and that she’s stuck with me this long. I’m always waiting with bated breath for really amazing ship partners to drop me but she’s never made me feel anything less than wanted and appreciated, so it just makes the ship that much more precious to me. As for friendships, I always get a kick out of Lili/Saoirse. @irishxseahorse has such a great sense of humor and never fails to make me laugh.

For Keegan, the Treegan relationship wasn’t really a surprise but I was happy with how naturally it developed. You don’t always have chemistry even if your fc’s do in real life but Emily has been such a perfect Troian. Seeing as how I’ve played Troian for the majority of my RP years, I’m very picky with how people play her and Em fits the bill. ;) I love that it’s not rushed, it’s going at a very easy and natural pace, and how willing Emily always is to talk to me and to keep my muse high with cute muse inspo. And for friendships, Keegan/Lizzie! @ohlizzo Be prepared for 2019, Sadie. Keegan’s gonna worm his way into Lizzie’s heart.

And on Munro, I’ve been lucky enough to sort of ship with Vic again with Munro/Cristine. We decided to give them a shot and I love the messy friends with benefits plot. I can’t wait to focus on them more and hopefully do more with them next year. I also really love Munro and Natalia’s friendship. @itsnataliadyr Eena is the actual sweetest and I adore how immediately playful their interactions became. I always look forward to replying to her and love her Natalia.

002. In what ways do you connect to your muse/s? - Out of all of them, I think I connect to Lili the most not only because she’s the only female muse, but also because we’re both fellow Virgos. I’m a big astrology nerd and I believe your sign impacts your personality so I feel like she’s a kindred spirit to me in a way. She’s definitely as impulsive with her words as I am and we both share the same sense of humor. With Keegan, I relate deeply to his sensitivity and his love for cats because I am the biggest cat lady and would have a million cats if I could. He also wears his heart on his sleeve and I do too. And with Munro..he’s probably the muse I have the least in common with but we do share a love for geekdom so that’s fun!

003. What’s your favorite category to write for your muse/s? (angst, fluff, smut, etc.) - I haven’t been able to write much smut here because not everybody is comfortable writing it (which is totally cool) but smut & angst is probably my favorite to write because I feel like that’s where I shine. I don’t know what that says about me but..Those are my top two categories where I get the most compliments on my writing. Obviously fluff is great and we all know I can wax on forever with mushy and sappy stuff..

004. If you could give your muse/s one gift, what would you give them? - I can’t afford anything for them, but if I could, I’d give her the Chipotle black card because she seems to really want it. Or a sponsorship by Dominos. I’d also love to give her a big hug and tell her how much I admire her, and how much her words mean to me. It’s so nice to be a fan of a woman who isn’t afraid to speak her mind and who promotes loving yourself and not being ashamed if you’re a little different from everyone else.

For Keegan, I’d give him notebooks and demand he write more songs and scripts and cast Troian in all of them. I’d also give him another kitten friend because who doesn’t want more kittens?

And for Munro, I’d beg him to get Instagram just so I can know what he’s up to! Seriously though, Munro seems like a simple guy but I’d give him Lion King tickets and then make him go with me so I can hide in his arms when Mufasa dies. NOT READY, NEVER READY.

005. What was your favorite event/moment/memory in HollywoodlandHQ this year? - Is it cheesy if I say when we opened? I was really excited and so proud and I felt like I finally crossed something off my bucket list. I wanted a safe place for the people I loved to create and write. I also loved the Halloween event! Anything a little spooky, I love. 

006. What muse/s have you enjoyed most seeing on this dash this year? - Lizzie is one of my favorites simply because I think Sadie writes her perfectly, and I always love seeing my ship partners on the dash because my stomach gets all fuzzy and I know good things are gonna happen.

007. What is your favorite thing your muse/s have done this year in the group? (can be in the real world or what you made up) - For Lili, it’s been the gift of all the pictures she’s released. She’s gorgeous, she’s real, and I love all the content she blesses us with. I’m also so proud of her work on Riverdale this year. She stepped up her game.

Keegan hasn’t done much but Million Miles Away was a jam and his podcast was great! In the group, I obviously was happy when he finally kissed Troian. ;) @itstbellisario

And Munro seems to have booked a lot of new projects so I’m excited for them to come out. His performance in Knuckleball is INCREDIBLE and just proves how good of an actor he is.

008. What would you like to see in HollywoodlandHQ in 2019? - Apart from events that pair up people who don’t interact much (which seems to be the biggest want), I’d love more themed events. I’d love supernatural!week, AU!week, holiday events, even more events like the earthquake that affects the whole group and not a select group of people. I also love when memes are done, even if we still need to improve on everyone playing them fairly. Memes that set up plots and help further IC drama will be worked on too. And obviously, I really want the group to keep growing! 

009. What is a plot you would love to do with your muse/s? - I’d love to do something dramatic with Lili - she’s clearly got a steady head on her shoulders and I don’t want to make her too OOC, but writing her struggle with something whether that be a relationship with somebody or with herself would be great with character development. 

With Keegan, I’m excited to work out his growing relationship with Troian. I can’t wait to write out all the beginnings of a ship and see what comes from it.

And with Munro, I’d really just like him to have more connections. I’d love to see more Degrassi fc’s in the group but also get him involved with more people. He’s a really goofy guy and he’s also loyal af, so he’d be great for friendship plots. Also, him developing something with Cristine and maybe fucking it up a little would be good drama!

year in review - 2018

001. What is your proudest accomplishment of this year?

Definitely everything that’s happened with Riverdale. It’s the best job I’ve ever had, and it’s the biggest one as well. And being ask to come back as a series regular was the best thing that’s happened to me professionally ever.

002. What is the biggest life lesson you learned this year?

To not run from the things, or people that scare you. It does more harm than good. It’s always worth taking the leap of faith despite the fear.

003. What is one relationship (can be friendship) that has helped you survive this year?

There’s two that have changed me as a person this year, and the two people that I wouldn’t be me without. 

Skeet ( @ulrichisms ), you’ve given me the type of love and understanding that I didn’t think was possible. And even though I tried resisting it for a long time, you never truly gave up on me or us. I love you, and I’m so proud and lucky to be yours. 

My Natty Ice ( @itsnataliadyr ), you’re my rock, my sounding board, and my soulmate. I don’t think I could have made it through the year without you, and it’s crazy to think that we didn’t even know each other when 2018 started. We met and you instantly became my person. I love you so much. 

004. Who or what do you need to let go of in order to make next year even better than this year?

I need to let go of the fact that I have no control over what happens with Toni on the show or how much screen time she gets. I’ve really let that bother me for the first half of this season, and I’ve made some comments or liked tweets that I probably shouldn’t have.

005. What did you do this year that you’ve never done before?

Does sleeping with a woman count? Technically, I slept with two women this year but prior to 2018 I hadn’t ever gone that far before. I always knew I was bisexual since I was a teenager, but I hadn’t actually been with a woman until this summer.

006. What are three resolutions or goals you want to make happen next year?

I want to go on more auditions for projects during hiatus and continue to expand my career.

I want to get myself really settled into my life and my future, especially with my relationship. Getting over that fear and showing both myself, and Skeet, that I’m ready for everything with us and build this together. @ulrichisms

And traveling more. Whether it be for more conventions to meet fans or for vacations, I just really want to see more of the world this year.

007. Where did most of your money go this year?

Flying back and forth between LA and Vancouver, and paying for both apartments.

008. What song will always remind you of this year?

Definitely Natalia. My life changed because of that girl, she’s the best friend anyone could ask for. @itsnataliadyr

001. What relationship (can be friendship) has been the most fun to write for your muse/s this year?

I’ll do the IC questions for each character, but I’ll answer these for all three so I’m not having to do it twice. 

I’ve gushed about her relationship with Skeet and friendship with Natalia up in the IC questions, and while I would love to gush about them some more, I think I’m going to give this one to Laura’s Tom. Writing their friendship has been fun and hilarious since the beginning when they were planning on doing a partners in crime movie and it’s even funnier now with Vanessa pretending to not like him because she’s protective over Natalia. I really enjoy their friendship a lot. @hollandjpg

For Eliza, since I’m going to talk about her relationship a lot when I do the IC questions for her, I’m going to have to give this one to her friendship with Julianne. It was an unexpected friendship, and it’s easily become one of my favorites that I’ve ever had on her. They mesh so well and just bring me so much happiness. @julcshough

And the same goes for KJ, I’ll talk about his relationship in a separate post, so I’ll give this one right to his friendship with Lili. They’re basically connected at the hip half the time, and I love how much their friendship resembles mine and Becca’s a lot of the time. They’re just this pure friendship that’s really rooted in how much they love each other and want each other to be happy more than anything. And I love getting to write with Becca when it comes to them. @liliisms

002. In what ways do you connect to your muse/s?

Weirdly enough, I don’t really feel connected to Vanessa in many ways other than our love for dogs and Choni. She’s probably the muse that has the least amount of qualities I identify with that I’ve ever played. And it’s been fun, because it’s challenging and definitely out of my comfort zone.

Eliza is the muse I probably connect with the most, especially Eliza before Alycia with her fears of commitment and feelings. And her love of Food Network and being lazy, definitely from me. It’s been fun to write the change in her thanks to her relationship and really flesh her out, and watch her mature in ways that I myself can learn from.

KJ is similar to me in the way that I also have that childlike humor and spend most of the time just trying to make people laugh.

003. What’s your favorite category to write for your muse/s? (angst, fluff, smut, etc.)

Definitely fluff, it’s where I thrive but I do enjoy the angst as long as it doesn’t become excessive or unnecessary drama just to create the angst. And I’m not the biggest fan of writing smut, so I don’t do it as much as I do fluff or angst.

004. If you could give your muse/s one gift, what would you give them?

Vanessa: I’d write the scripts of Riverdale and give Toni more importance.

Eliza: Babies. All Eliza wants is babies and I’d give her all the babies.

KJ: I’d give him and Gigi more alone time together.

005. What was your favorite event/moment/memory in HollywoodlandHQ this year?  

Definitely the trip to Greece and the earthquake! I think that was so much fun, and a fun, creative way to pair people up. 

006. What muse/s have you enjoyed most seeing on this dash this year?

007. What is your favorite thing your muse/s have done this year in the group? (can be in the real world or what you made up)

Vanessa: Can I just say bringing her into the group in general? She’s such a different type of character for me to play, and I’ve loved being pushed to different levels while creating for her. 

Eliza: Getting married, for sure. I’ve been playing her for years now, and to see her finally get her happy ending meant the world to me. She’s the muse I’m the most attached to so it was a very emotional event for me.

KJ: The unexpected pregnancy, without a doubt. It’s changed both him, and his relationship with Gigi, in the best of ways and it’s allowed me to mature him and have him grow in ways that most 21 year olds aren’t having to do. Sadie is the best ship partner in the world, and I’ve loved the way we’ve worked together to make their relationship together and as co-parents into something beautiful but still fun. And they’ve kept that same charm and chemistry that they’ve had together since the first day we started writing together. @gigihqs

008. What would you like to see in HollywoodlandHQ in 2019?

More events to pair people up randomly, it seems to be a popular idea and it’s one of my favorite things as an admin to do because I love seeing all the new friendships that form out of those events. 

009. What is a plot you would love to do with your muse/s?

Vanessa: I would love to just explore her relationship with Skeet more, and continue to build them up and have them grow together throughout 2019. @ulrichisms

Eliza: Babies, I just want mom!Eliza more than anything, okay. And to continue to build up the relationship with Eliza/Alycia/Addy. I’m already really attached to the three of them, and they’re just getting started. So I can’t wait to keep plotting and writing for them. @avyciataylor @addvkins

KJ: Again, I just really want to keep writing with Sadie and see where else we can take Gineti this year. 2018 gave us so much as ship partners, and I can’t wait to see what we do in 2019. @gigihqs

Sadie, Katie, Bonnie, Becca, Sam, and Alyssa: The seven of us created this place, and it couldn’t have been done without each of you. I know that some of you aren’t admins anymore for your own reasons, but I just want you to know that not a day goes by that I’m not still thankful for all of the hard work and dedication you put into creating and maintaining this group. 001. What is your proudest accomplishment of this year?

I think it definitely has to becoming a dad. Fatherhood has changed my life for the better and I’m so thankful for the chance to be a father and have a family with Mel. 

002. What is the biggest life lesson you learned this year?

To never give up and to keep pushing, even when things get tough. To make sure you’re open to sharing how you feel and to not get lost in the darkness, because there’s always light out there even if you don’t see it right away.

003. What is one relationship (can be friendship) that has helped you survive this year?

Definitely Mel. She’s always there for me despite my career struggles and how that takes a toll on me emotionally and mentally. I don’t know where I’d be without her right now and she’s always supporting me and helping me with positive vibes to get me through it. @melissabenoistiisms

004. Who or what do you need to let go of in order to make next year even better than this year?

I need to let go of the idea that not finding a job means that I’ve failed, because I feel that way often when I don’t hear back from certain roles that I think I would’ve gotten. 

005. What did you do this year that you’ve never done before?

Well, I became a dad for the first time so I’ve never done that before. I also directed a short film that will be out in January so that was fun. 

006. What are three resolutions or goals you want to make happen next year?

1. Travel more with Mel and bring Ollie to some of those special places to experience as a family.

2. Not to give up career wise and to keep auditioning despite not having the best of luck lately. 

3. Keep writing and directing and see where that gets me. 

007. Where did most of your money go this year?

Yankee tickets. Kidding, probably towards Ollie. Babies are expensive but totally worth it.

Definitely with Mel, most likely in LA. We haven’t decided yet.

002. In what ways do you connect to your muse/s?

I connect with Chris’ soft and sensitive side. He’s sweet and does anything he can to make his loved ones happy and I’m pretty much the same way.

I answered this on Grant’s and it’s pretty much the same, an angst plot can be a lot of fun but also fluff and smut is great too.

004. If you could give your muse/s one gift, what would you give them?

I would give Chris a main role on a successful TV show on a good network because he deserves that right now.

005. What was your favorite event/moment/memory in HollywoodlandHQ this year?  

The Greece trip and Halloween event were a lot of fun, especially since it created more friendships with Chris.

It’s hard to pick just certain ones, there’s always great muses on the dash whenever I’m on!

More events for sure and also some more opportunities to do AU things, maybe for a longer period of time than just a few days so that it gives some time to develop stuff that you wouldn’t normally get to do.

Something angsty with Chris, probably due to the fact that he’s not doing much professionally right now and how that is affecting him.

I attended the royal wedding and it was incredible.

The entire Riverdale cast honestly. I see so much of my PLL cast mates and I in them. 001. What relationship (can be friendship) has been the most fun to write for your muse/s this year?

The relationship forming between Keegan and Troian has been so fun, but I’ve also been enjoying the friendship between Lizzie and Troian as well as Cami and Troian and Lili and Troian and just every character that I have some how made be Troian’s friend. FRIENDSHIP IS SO IMPORTANT GUYS.

The relationship between Brett and Haley is a fun one as well, but I’ve also been loving the friendship between Keegan and Haley because I love writing with Becca. Plus Haley’s friendship with Lili and Cole and Cami and Grant and Danielle have also been fun to explore. I LOVE FRIENDSHIP OKAY?

002. In what ways do you connect to your muse/s?

I feel like I connect most with Troian through her sense of humor and the way she cares for her friends and those around her. I also really connected with Spencer Hastings and always felt drawn to her so that too I guess.

I feel like I connect most with Haley’s bubbly and caring personality. I care so deeply for those in my life and I’m just as energetic and crazy as she is. She’s a bit more brave than me but I really feel that we connect well together.

Angst/Fluff.

004. If you could give your muse/s one gift, what would you give them?

I would give Troian a hug and some mistletoe so she can finally plant one on Keegan (if I had posted this before Christmas it would have made more sense hehe).

Staying in touch with my best mates have brought a lot of wonderful feelings in my life, so I’m proud I didn’t seclude myself entirely.

As bad as I’ve tried, I can’t keep my own feelings from growing, over whichever it may be about, and I’ve learned that I shouldn’t have to either.

I think the insecurity of my own talents held me back from bringing my all throughout the year, but I opened up a bit near the end, and I plan to do so much more for the next.

I think I’ve put myself out there further in a more personal way, mostly with my close friendships, and I’m not the kind of guy to do that, but everything changes, I suppose.

My YouTube channel growing the way it has! Although it’s mostly vlogs and behind the scenes of Riverdale somewhat, it’s a way to express myself creatively my own way without constraints (that I can talk about that is) and I’m so excited to be able to take it further into the future with more content.

Although love does win most of the time, it doesn’t win all of the time and that’s okay. One of these days, love will conquer everything.

Greece! I would have never thought I’d be able to get a chance to go to Greece, let alone survive an earthquake in the country.

Proposing to @brettdicr and filming Five Feet Apart. Brett is the absolute love of my life and that film is very near and dear to my heart.

It’s not necessarily something I learned this year, but it’s something I’ve been learning most of my life that I completely stand by and it is don’t dim your light just because people might not understand it or like it. I love living my crazy, silly life and not caring too much about what people think is very important in this business.

Just like Brett and I come as a duo, Keegan @hqkeegan and Brett @brettdicr​ also come as a duo. Those boys are my whole entire world and I would be quite lost without them. They are the brightest place in my life and they keep me silly but they also keep my completely sane even when I’m completely insane. We’re the greatest trio I’ve ever known and I am completely obsessed with them.

I need to let go of Brett @brettdicr as my boyfriend and make him my husband. 😉

I got engaged and I was the one who proposed.

001. What is your proudest accomplishment of this year?

My proudest accomplishment is probably reaching one hundred episodes on The Flash. Not many people get that chance and it’s pretty awesome I did. 

002. What is the biggest life lesson you learned this year?

People are going to think what they think about you, you can’t control that. But you can control how you deal with it and I’ve been trying to learn to not let it get to me, especially from people who don’t know me personally.

003. What is one relationship (can be friendship) that has helped you survive this year?

My wife is my rock and always there for me through anything going on. I’d be lost without her. @hyfdanielle

004. Who or what do you need to let go of in order to make next year even better than this year?

I need to let go of the negativity that social media brings into my life. I’ve disconnected myself a decent amount from it but I need to do it even more and not let it affect me. 

005. What did you do this year that you’ve never done before?

Put on the Green Arrow suit. It was dope.

006. What are three resolutions or goals you want to make happen next year?

1. Make more time for my kids. 

2. Have more date nights with my wife. 

3. Try and do another role besides The Flash while on hiatus.

The Greece trip and the Halloween trip because it gave me more connections with Grant that I probably wouldn’t have gotten if it weren’t for those events.

I enjoy seeing a lot of people on the dash, but Becca always has a strong presence with her characters and the dash never feels the same without her. @hqkeegan & @liliisms. Also I’ve loved seeing @itstbellisario and @hqhaleyluhoo on the dash too!

007. What is your favorite thing your muse/s have done this year in the group? (can be in the real world or what you made up)

I think it would be this year’s crossover, seeing Grant play Arrow was super fun and he looked amazing in the Green Arrow suit.

More events for sure that have specific pairings so that Grant can get more connections that probably wouldn’t happen unless put in a specific position to interact.

I want to do something crazy with Grant, since he’s pretty much in his standard routine. I miss him being drunk and doing stupid things sometimes, so that would be fun to do again.

A Year In Review - 2018

001. What is your proudest accomplishment of this year?

Definitely winning a Scottish BAFTA. It’s the first time I’ve won an award for acting on screen, rather than on stage, and for it to be by starring in a production with some of my acting idols, in my home country, and receiving it in my home country, too... just, wow, such an honour. Especially since I was nominated alongside my fellow stars - that was even better, that we dominated that acting category.

002. What is the biggest life lesson you learned this year?

To be more open, I’d say. I’ve generally always been very honest and blunt with people, but I’ve also often been bad at telling people the deeper stuff that I have going on, you know? I think I’ve become more open about my thoughts and feelings, this past year, and it’s done me absolute wonders.

003. What is one relationship (can be friendship) that has helped you survive this year?

If I can only pick one, it’s got to be Saoirse. She’s made my year, and my life, infinitely better, just by being in it. I’d have said her even when we were just mates, which was the case for pretty much half the year. We’ve shared a lot of experiences, done plenty of travelling, learnt so much about each other and ourselves in the process, and with her by my side, I really feel like anything that comes up in the future, good or bad, I can deal with so much more easily and efficiently. She’s my rock and my home. @irishxseahorse

004. Who or what do you need to let go of in order to make next year even better than this year?

I don’t think there is anything or anyone holding me back. I’m very confident in myself, in that I know what I’m good at and what I’m bad at, and what might be stopping me from being the best I can be. I don’t rely too much on others when it comes to that kind of thing, so now I’m in a position where I feel like nothing can stop me from having a better year, next year.

005. What did you do this year that you’ve never done before?

I travelled a lot more than I’ve ever done before - I think I’ve visited more countries (or at least more cities) than I ever have before, and that’s been so amazing, getting to finally see the world, like I’ve wanted to since I was a bairn. I also did a proper Shakespeare play for the first time, and it was a dream, and it felt so good to do theatre again.

006. What are three resolutions or goals you want to make happen next year?

I’d like to do some more theatre work, maybe even Shakespeare again, if the opportunity presents itself - I almost forgot how much I love it, until MFM. I’d like to do some more travelling, to new and exciting places, because I can’t get enough of it. I’d also quite like to put a ring on Saoirse, but she already knows that.

007. Where did most of your money go this year?

On travelling, definitely. There were a few slightly tighter months, as a result, but I wouldn’t have changed it for the world. I was especially lucky that a good amount of the travelling was for work, so most of the expensive stuff was already paid for. But yeah, I’m hardly swimming in cash.

008. What song will always remind you of this year?

Galway Girl by Ed Sheeran. 

009. How will you be spending the last day of this year?

Up in Scotland with my most favourite people on the planet - I can’t wait.

010. Who is the best new person you’ve met this year?

I’d feel bad if I didn’t say Hayley. We spent almost half the year working together, and she’s so much fun, whether we’re sweating our tits off in the Caribbean, or shivering backstage in the Donmar. I had such a great time working with her and becoming mates. @welhayley

001. What relationship (can be friendship) has been the most fun to write for your muse/s this year?

I mean... Jaoirse. Like, I can’t even describe how much of a hoot they’ve been, this year. The funny thing is that even though me and Minnie have low-key shipped it from the start, we genuinely never expected them to end up where they are now, both here and irl. They’ve done loads of crazy things, ripped the heck out of each other, and fallen madly in love - it’s a summer romance that doesn’t have an end in sight. That sort of thing is so much fun to write, every single time we get the chance to write it. It’s so easy, and they’re always making me laugh and cry and I love them so, so much. Minnie’s not bad either. ;)

002. In what ways do you connect to your muse/s?

All my muses are sort of extensions of parts of my personality. Jack loves TV comedies like The Office UK and Alan Partridge, so having an understanding of his humour - which is an integral part of his personality - really helps when it comes to him interacting with other people. It’s very dry, and sometimes he has to make others aware that he is just joking, and that’s something he has to do sometimes irl, too. (Same, Jack, same.) Also, just watching him interact with fans and being so sweet, and watching him be so lovely and smart and aware in interviews - all of these little details go into shaping the way that I write him, and the way I present him to everybody else. 

003. What’s your favorite category to write for your muse/s? (angst, fluff, smut, etc.)

Oh goodness, probably fluff. Soft Jackie is my favourite Jackie, and his default, honestly. So it’s easy to write, and always fun to read back, when I get the chance, because he’s so lovely and soft, and did I mention he’s really soft?

004. If you could give your muse/s one gift, what would you give them?

More time. I feel like there’s so many things that Jack wants to see and do, on top of all the work he wants to partake in and everything, that the one thing he really needs more of in his life is time.

005. What was your favorite event/moment/memory in HollywoodlandHQ this year?  

Oh god, there’s been so many great moments. One of my favourites was Jack and Sophie going to the World Cup - that offered a little bit of angst, a little bit of fluff, and a whole lot of drunken adventures; it gave us the iconic moment of Jack drunkenly serenading Saoirse with Galway Girl, and it gave me and Charlie more of a chance to have our dorks not only have fun, but gush over how much they loved the spirit of the England fans (bc same). @sophiet-x

006. What muse/s have you enjoyed most seeing on this dash this year? 

Ummmmm can I say Fionn?? Mainly because I never ever expected to be in a celeb RP with a Fionn, but he’s such a ray of sunshine, and I love him and Jack together, and Alice just plays him perfectly, and I feel blessed, every time he appears on the dash. @tommyboyfionn

007. What is your favorite thing your muse/s have done this year in the group? (can be in the real world or what you made up)

CAN WE TALK ABOUT JACK AND SAOIRSE GETTING TOGETHER IN REAL LIFE????? Because honestly, that makes me so happy, y’all have no idea. I mean them getting together in the RP, too, is obviously great, BUT THEY HAVE MANAGING CLADDAGH RINGS IN REAL LIFE - THIS IS NOT A DRILL. I just really love them, okay. But also the fact that Jack’s finally getting his name out there and being recognised for the sheer talent he is, and getting more and more challenging roles and stuff, that’s made me real happy, too.

More group trips - I love it when everybody gets thrown together, especially with random roommates, because sometimes you can form the most unexpected but fun connections! Also maybe a few more of these questionnaires, because if you hadn’t noticed, I love them.

Had shit work out, both professionally and personally. It was a desert for a long time in regards to work and the personal life is just getting better and dare say stronger with the coming year.

001. What relationship (can be friendship) has been the most fun to write for your muse/s this year?

Innie’s Gen is always gold with Max, whether getting him to admit the feelings under this strong sarcastic armor or putting him in his place or just laughing with him at his quick wit. They have such layers cause of the background they have that I just feel like everything is naturally to them and they both think they have being engaged, married, and whatever comes next figured out with their touch of humor and intellect. I also really love Max’s friendship with Grant and how that developed over months. Grant is there to be this mirror to what he already has and what he can do. He’s this positive well adjusted male influence where Max admittedly has limited male friends in real life and probably none as a supportive as this relationship [@theflashgrant​] On the opposite end where Grant is the angel on his shoulder I think Jack is the devil on the other, maybe encourage him to slip back into old ways of thinking and behaving. Thats fun that Max can just dip his feet in then go back to the grown man he now is. Also the NJBC could rule the world if they gave into the dark side, just throwing it out there. 

002. In what ways do you connect to your muse/s

It’s tough sometimes cause real Max is so charming, smart, quick witted, passively aggressive and occasionally the really unpassive smartass jerk. Im always trying to read more and watch him more because he’s probably the least easy to get into in conversations outside of the three previously mentioned. 

003. What’s your favorite category to write for your muse/s? (angst, fluff, smut, etc.)

There is something’ bout writing Max that is always reserved, always holding back his feelings so those little moments where he will break and be genuinely sweet or speak straight from his heart with Gen, or better yet new people, are my rare little gems.

The ability to shower Gen with the words she deserves to hear daily in terms of fluff: can’t wait to make you my wife, you’ll make a beautiful bride, etc.

Definitely all the paras right before this group with Innie, all the dates they went on I love from the boats to Ireland. I miss them really.

Year of the Woman [Sersh in 2018]

001. What is your proudest accomplishment of this year?

I’ve had such personal growth in this year, that’s my proudest accomplishment. That I feel whole and complete as the woman I now am, professionally and personally I have become in sync. I’ve gained such perspective for who I am,  the person I want to project into the world, and the purposes I feel here to fulfill.

002. What is the biggest life lesson you learned this year?

You don’t live your life for others, people pleasing only leads to your own guilt. You attract by virtue of who you are the people who should be in your life, those that shouldn’t be; find the soonest excuse to be step out of it or worse make you feel guilty for choices in your own best interest.  The road to true happiness is just being yourself to your fullest and speaking your own truth. 

003. What is one relationship (can be friendship) that has helped you survive this year?

Jack has certainly made it the most beautiful time in my life and I wouldn’t have my feet firmly on the ground without Gi, Lili, Margot, Brie & Taylor. [ @jocklowden, @itsgenevievegnt, @liliisms, @margotrcbbied , @thatlarson, @teylcrswift]

004. Who or what do you need to let go of in order to make next year even better than this year?

I think I’ve let go of it all here recently. 

005. What did you do this year that you’ve never done before?

Fell in love for the first real time, won a Golden Globe, wrote an essay in a published book, hosted SNL [yes that counts], did my first beauty campaign with a positive empowerment message, joined the board of Times Up UK and bought our own house. Oh and finally got to be on Watch What Happens! I’ve had a busy year of firsts. 

006. What are three resolutions or goals you want to make happen next year?

Further the campaign for equality, be the most kickass MOH to my bestie, write my first script under Slaney, make Jack grow his beard out further, and love and laugh just a little bit more. That’s more than three but they are all very important to me.

Jaoirse is always gold for me. Beth amazes me, maybe it’s because we have written together for a while in different scenarios and she has known my version of Saoirse for probably the longest etc but she and Jack have such this view of Saoirse that she herself feels finally probably fully realized for who /she all is/ for the first time outside her parents. She’s not this or that, she’s all of it and he loves her for all of the crazy, funny, determined, and intelligent  self. She has someone finally not afraid to go toe to toe with her whose on the same level as her in all those previously mentioned areas, who unconditionally loves her and encourages her wild fucking dreams and adventures. My heart actually aches at how perfect a partner for her he is and that’s all Beth.  Sagi too because it is a completely opposite friendship by virtue of who they are. When Saoirse would be outspoken, Gen would be a little more reserved, and vice versa their humor in conversations I see switch and opposite yet they just feed off each other. [as probably me and Innie do but oh well it’s great inspiration] Gen is the one that sees, besides Jack, the absolutely goofy side of her and holds her to perhaps what an average 24 year old be like without all the expectations and notoriety. They are true ride or die besties. They can be that true /honest/ friend with accountability and a mirror to themselves when they need it. Im forever grateful I get to talk daily to these two amazing people who have also become two of my best friends in rl. Not to be cheesy too but all of her friendships I do enjoy, I think Saoirse is such a people-oriented person yet she can’t be false to anyone either. 

002. In what ways do you connect to your muse/s

Honestly naturally. That can’t be false to anyone, straight shooter I really recognize myself in. I really resonate with how incredibly socially conscious she is along with the goofy humor. She’s really quite intelligent and knowledgeable on social issues in America and Ireland more than I think people expect for her age or the quietness of her personal life. The having one career from young age and being somewhat sheltered from the adult world yet expected to carry herself as an adult from a young age I found myself relating to a whole lot. And yes the Irish-Americanness. I watch and read everything she’s in but after two years and having a lot in common with her naturally it’s autopilot by now.

003. What’s your favorite category to write for your muse/s? (angst, fluff, smut, etc.)

Fluff and smut, the funniest thing is she thinks she’s comedic and sexual pun gold. Im open to angst, don’t get me wrong, I’ve done a bit here and there, but not a lot because the journey she has expressed she’s on in her personal life over the past year and with her personality I see her as a resolve it quickly within herself or with the other person ;or just cut it out of her life if it causes unfixable strife. I think by virtue of who she is her life is chill and positive, and she likes to attract that; barring some huge unexpected event. 

004. If you could give your muse/s one gift, what would you give them?

She’s been really blessed this year Im going to be real, she did and was given a lot to be grateful for. But if there was one thing I could give her it be the Oscar for Lady Bird.  I don’t think she thinks she deserved to win over Brie the two years before nor did she want too despite popular ‘fan’ opinion, but Lady Bird was such a voice for young women and something so honest and real. Dont get me wrong Im very grateful she won the Globe but it was such a piece you saw her connect with and feel like it had an important message for women of all ages. I don’t think Frances would have minded losing to her or vice versa from their interviews post. 

005. What was your favorite event/moment/memory in HollywoodlandHQ this year?  

The Halloween away or Greece event. Something that took the muse outside their element and forced unexpected interactions. 

006. What muse/s have you enjoyed most seeing on this dash this year?

EVERYONE. I love most of all getting to see new people and new characters come into themselves or their storylines. I get excited for new shiny things I’m a goldfish ok? 

007. What is your favorite thing your muse/s have done this year in the group? (can be in the real world or what you made up)

Been this face for, not just a women’s movement, but the LGBT+ and overall equality moment; in not just one or two ways, but overall she let it seep in every area of her life and really become this crusader for the cause. She risked being excommunicated permanently from her own religion to stand up for women’s rights in Ireland and it was so badass. She’s been a strong badass all year and that’s just more of coming into her own. Also *supposedly* [yeah still putting it since neither of their peoples have confirmed it yet] really falling in love with her costar [and Beth and I called it before it was even a thing last year now they basically have wedding bands just saying, for hundredth time] but yeah I adore how Beth and I played that friendship to relationship out; steady and slow, but now they so committed head first for each other because they honestly got to know each other well, for worse or better, first. 

008. What would you like to see in HollywoodlandHQ in 2019?

I’d love, love to see more mix ups that encourage different unexpected interactions. 

009. What is a plot you would love to do with your muse/s?

Saoirse as a drunk but dutiful MOH. Honestly Im excited for the real movies and projects she has coming up . I would love for Jack and Saoirse to have their first fight over something completely little and stupid that probably lasts all of a hour. Hahaha.

001. What is your proudest accomplishment of this year?

My proudest accomplishment this year had to have been chosen to direct an episode of The Flash. It’s a small feat, surely, but it’s one of the best feats that I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying. When I found out that I was going to be the first female cast member from any of our Arrowverse shows to direct an episode of one of the series, the profound weight of the importance of what I was about to do just mattered so much more.

002. What is the biggest life lesson you learned this year?

Biggest life lesson this year had to be learning to let go of the things that shouldn’t bother me. I look to my husband for this ideology. He’s taught me that I can go without frivolous things like a certain social media aspect if it’s going to greatly help my mental health state.

003. What is one relationship (can be friendship) that has helped you survive this year?

I would love to be selfish and name my marriage for this. I don’t know where I would be without my life partner, Grant @theflashgrant . Through thick and thin, for better or for worse, he has stood beside me and cheered me on, pushing me to do the things that I’ve been scared to do only because he says he knows that I’d be great at them.

004. Who or what do you need to let go of in order to make next year even better than this year?

Letting go of anxiety and having things go a certain way is always a good resolution, but maybe just going more with the flow this year would be a good one. I want to be better at that, for sure.

005. What did you do this year that you’ve never done before?

Oh, we went to Greece! And we survived an earthquake in Greece. That was exciting. Also saw a unicorn. I’m convinced it’s a real unicorn and they’re scary.

006. What are three resolutions or goals you want to make happen next year?

More time with family and the husband, career advancement, and maybe a new project in the works.

007. Where did most of your money go this year?

Most of my money went to gifts for my children.

First of all, we just want to thank everybody who has been with us this year. Opening up this group was a lot of hard work and (1) manic and sleepless night but with the help of current and past admins, we’ve managed to keep together what we’ve always craved from the RPC - a safe, accepting, and somewhere you can call home roleplay group. Admin Becca has created a fun questionnaire to fill out as both your muse(s) and as you, the mun! It’s not required but we thought it’d be a nice way to reflect back on this year and think about everything we’ve been through and what we wish for in the new year. The first 10 questions will be IC, the last ten questions will be OOC.
