I finally had the chance to watch the Boston panel.

and I'm starting to think that a lot of you either haven't watched it yourselves, or were so set on specific opinions you personally have, while also having clear expectations of what their answers will be, that with their answers (or what are talked about as their answers) made you so unhappy that now you're just bashing them; especially Hugh.

why, though? none of the things I've seen people complain about were actually said like that or fully implied. so... what? doesn't make sense to me why some of you are so upset about this panel. it was so much fun and just lighthearted entertainment. panels like that are the reason these things exist and are usually so much fun in the first place.

just got home from a twelve hour fucking shoot and let me tell you when I say, non actors have no idea how exhausting shoots can be. When that fan asked Hugh what his thoughts were during Mizumono and he said he didn't want to disappoint us but he honestly had no thought process, he just wanted to get it done...Don't get mad at him. That was their longest shoot day. They probably filmed every single tiny movement a thousand times. The breaks between takes are usually long, you completely lose track of any emotional context going on, you have a thousand marks to hit, dialogue + movements to perform...And the fact that he was able to convey such emotion while not even being fully there just shows how great of an actor he is. Also, it doesn't mean Will didn't feel anything. Hugh is just an actor, doing his job, we as fans know Will, we get access to Will through him but if what we see is Will then that's the only thing that should matter to us. Regardless of what Hugh was thinking or feeling during scenes. I have major respect for him and his fellow actors cause holy fucking shit this is not as easy as it looks.
