Day 13.5? Did this late last night/early this morning. They’re not polished but I still like them for what I put into them!

The first one is a nod to one of the things I did like from the live action, and that’s the idea that Yusuke taught Keiko to hold her own against a standard goon. Especially in the manga, Keiko did not come off as someone who enjoys being a damsel in distress. And if I accidentally gave them the power scheme of the pink and green power rangers…. Well apparently all my 90’s ships are starting to mix together XD.

The second is Shura with his little sister, Miku. Apparently I can only make fanon kiddos as OCs but I adore her. And don’t let that scowl fool you, Shura would kill for her without batting an eye.

Did a Secret Santa in a Discord server with some buddies and my part ended up converging into this wonderfully 90s explosion for the equally as wonderful @ennanena!

Featuring their Leroy clone Marko (hailing from Enna's original story project "AnyWhere") and my imaginatively chaotic idol Royal, Keiko Hubrecht (hailing from @stitchtriverse ), the two are duking it out in a powerful new level of... "Pump It Up!", albeit legally distinct from the actually game and aptly named "Pump'd", LOL!

Initially, when Enna first brought the idea up to me, it was going to be a commissioned piece, but the moment I pulled their name in the same Discord server where we held our Secret Santa... well, it was the moment I spurred right into action! It was amazing working on the aesthetics of this piece, I really dug into the era's weirdly retrofuturistic aesthetic to try and replicate what I wanted out of this and I think I aced it. Coupled with just drawing both my own Luxian lovely and Enna's lovable Experiment and it just made for a fun time that I was wicked glad they enjoyed the day of Christmas Day.

I do wish there was audio representation to this, though real talk, I think that this would literally just be Alex Newell over a backing track of a eurobeat/hardstyle dance track. Come on, even audibly, you gotta fit the "Pump It Up!" idea, right? Also, fun fact: yes, Alex Newell is my headcanoned voice for Keiko, both for speaking and for singing. Alex just kills at what they do and it was perfect fancasting.
