What would your mirror verse Ivo think of eggman? He gives me the vibes he would be like that if not for feeling guilty about the eclipse canon
Oooo, this is an EXCELLENT question, one that I've already touched on in a future chapter of the mirrorverse. This unfortunately means I won't go too in-depth about how Robotnik feels about his counterpart here.
. . . but I will tell you that your latter assessment is absolutely correct.
My favorite thing in any sort of "shattered glass" or "evil mirror" trope is when the characters aren't totally foreign to their canon personalities. It's one thing to have a canon character react to someone wearing their skin but who's clearly not them. It's an entirely different, more angsty thing to have them grapple with a doppelganger who they very easily could have been, given a few wrong decisions or more unfortunate circumstances.
Mirror Shadow, for instance, is taking SA2 Shadow to his logical conclusion. The firing of the Eclipse cannon is a very clear Moral Event Horizon for Shadow as a character, after which point it would be damn near impossible for him to choose to do any sort of good afterwards. This was a line that our main timeline Shadow could have crossed, but he didn't. (And this was not a whim or moment of passion either- he very seriously considered committing the murder of the entire planet for a good chunk of SA2's plot.)
Mirror Robotnik is essentially the reverse of this- where Shadow completed his descent into villainy, this Robotnik had stayed in the shallow end of the pond. Removing Sonic from the equation of conquering a few islands for his own use leaves Robotnik in a far more advantageous position than main timeline Eggman. This Robotnik isn't rushed- he can spend as long as he wants perfecting his technology and working behind the scenes with governments and the like to assert his control. He certainly hasn't been pushed to the mad scientist, world-ending, obsessive extremes like Eggman has.
This Robotnik has been playing on easy mode.
. . . until his grandfather's greatest creation tricks him into helping blow up (half) the world, that is.
Still, there's a sanity to him that Eggman could never afford. Moreover, there is indeed that feeling of guilt that you've alluded to in your ask. Even in SA2, a mainline Eggman who has lost his marbles to the point of taking over a nuke cannon to hold the governments of the world hostage is horrified when Shadow reveals his plan to destroy absolutely everyone with no negotiation. This Robotnik, retaining even more of his moral compass, is even more horrified. This leads to some greater heroic action on his part than he'd ever consider normally.
Plus, it seems there's a benefit to playing into the hero role and having governments give you unlimited resources and funding. Robotnik, despite everything, prides himself on rolling with the punches and taking ever advantage he can get. He's always planning for what happens after this Ultimate Lifeform mess is taken care of, after all.
Finally, since this post is getting long, I'll leave you with this- it's always been a favorite headcanon of mine that main timeline Eggman still believes on some level that he is going to make the world a better place when he succeeds with his plans, even if he has embraced his supervillain persona in the mainline games. Now apply that to this mirror version of Robotnik, and you have a man who is utterly convinced he is doing the right thing and is therefore blind to any criticisms of his authoritarian and anti-environmental tendencies.
TL;DR: I have a thing for wanting opposite mirror counterparts to still act 'in-character'. The end.

Do You Wanna Touch Me Now
What can you call something like this? A review of a Kiss song that was not recorded to completion and never officially released? If you ask me Phantom Entry doesn't sound too bad, and also kind of Kiss-like.
So, who among us Kissians doesn't inevitably think of the often mentioned Do You Wanna Touch Me Now, the only leftover from the Revenge (1992) sessions, which Paul had written with this Skid Row guy, but ultimately didn't make it onto the album. For a long time, even a very long time if you want to do yourself the displeasure of measuring your life in time, this one was considered pretty much a Holy Grail among ever-searching fans.
Until it was leaked on a mainstream platform, just like that. Out of the blue. After 30 years. (0) So, it's precisely this tiny blip that makes our little head trip here possible in the first place, so shhh, all this is top secret, of course. Let us therefore try to be gratefully and humbly accept what this may offer us.
Firstly, we have the long-range main riff that also opens the song, which can best be described as massive and anything but bad. If Take Me's (1976) chorus riff comes to mind, that would be pretty close. If you were to dance a few steps further and stop at the end with spread legs in a self-assured pose, then we would even have a bull's eye. On top of that, you get a Mr. Speed-style lick as a sort of calling card (1). This works in much the same way as the Roadrunner in the cartoons likes to stick out his tongue before he meeps and blasts off at the speed of light.
Anyway, to my ears it seems as if, in the overall context of the song's structure, it harbors a certain short-sighted, extroverted attitude that is unwilling to take the final step and whose own unrequited expectations unfortunately become its undoing. In simple terms, it promises more than it means to deliver (2).
Kind of like a long-armed boxer with a handful of excellent swinging hooks in his repetoire, with which he is able to send his opponent to the mat very safely and quickly, only to make the fatal mistake of letting go of his opponent too early and using his additional light-footed skills just to put on a little extra show for the audience (and himself), which unfortunately has little to do with the fight. And with that, I've basically already given away the verses and the bridges.
And these sound like a continuously alternating vivid, but still somewhat unsatisfying mixture of The Elder's (1981) The Oath (3), Mr. Blackwell (4), and now dear people fasten your seatbelts, Welcome to the Jungle (1987) respectively its main riff. Which should come as no surprise once you consider that in 1991 Guns N' Roses were probably the biggest rock band on this planet alongside Metallica (5).
And so it goes back and forth until you eventually reach the mid-part section, which is not much more than a big brake pad, led by Detroit Rock City's (1976) cinematic widescreen riffs, those that follow its super iconic pulsating intro, and to which you literally have no choice but to imagine Paul leisurely and majestically swinging his arm out wide. Still, you're not supposed to enjoy it to the full, because after just one run-through, the fun is over again and it moves like a souped-up tractor at adle in the direction of Black Sabbath and Iron Butterfly. This is noticeable in a passage that sounds as if somewhere the beginning of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida (1968) was stuck in a loop. On steroids, of course.
And somewhere in between a guitar solo must have been envisioned, although unfortunately it never materialized. Which is regrettable, but not necessarily essential for the sake of this cause.
But hey, since when can beggars be choosers?
Side Note:
(0) Hardcore Insiders not included, which in turn should include myself.
(1) And from the first refrain even a riff appendage in the guise of Plaster Caster's (1977) bridge melody, as well as another old buddy, this time from the future, who can be found on Sonic Boom from 2009 and beyond (which we can talk about another time).
(2) So much for the gratitude.
(3) I (1981) would also fit the bill, but The Oath even more so. Just think of its characteristic opening.
(4) That AC/DC Back in Black thing we already talked about here.
(5) On the other hand, I wouldn't necessarily accuse them of intent.

The Ultimate Guide to The Eirenic Verses
"Poesy wrote the first word." "Amen, amen, amen."
Centuries ago, the goddess Poesy gave her people, the Bremish, the gift of High Poetry: the ability to turn words into actions, whether that is raising mountains from raw earth or spreading pestilence in the land. Societies developed on either side of the Rimuk Mountains, sworn to perpetual strife.
This is the story of Breme and Sina, two countries whose histories are paradoxically separate and intertwined, as seen through the eyes of their inhabitants. The Eirenic Verses offers a glimpse into the world of Eirenen: a planet both like and unlike our own, where literary prowess can be transmuted into military might.

The Eirenic Verses Series
Part One: 9 Years Yearning
Uileac Korviridi, student at the Bremish War Academy, expects to focus on his studies and protect his little sister - not fall in love with Orrinir Relickim, the hotheaded infantryman who can't seem to leave him alone. Subgenre: Gay coming of age romance Main Character: Uileac Korviridi Status: Live on Amazon
Part Two: Pride Before a Fall
Orrinir Relickim's horse, Bannain, was a wedding present from his husband, Uileac Korviridi. The intemperate animal nearly ends his marriage, too. One swift kick to the ribs turns into a journey through magical medicine and the human heart, as he comes to better understand the man he swore to love. Subgenre: Cozy romance Main Character: Orrinir Relickim Status: Pre-orders available
Part Three: Funeral of Hopes
Uileac Korviridi's husband, Orrinir Relickim, speaks little of his past. Vague mentions of an unhappy childhood before becoming a Future Boy at the War Academy are more than enough for Uileac; he has his own demons, after all. This changes when Orrinir receives word that his alcoholic, abusive father is dying - and refuses to reconcile. Subgenre: Family drama Main Character: Uileac Korviridi Status: Completed, revisions Sneak preview here
Part Four: What Is Cannot Be Unwritten
Mordrek Willets loves murder, mules, and women - not necessarily in that order. He's the first Sinan Intelligence Services officer to sneak across the forboding Rimuk Mountains and learn more about the Bremish High Poets, a secretive cabal of women tasked with protecting the beleagured country from his own. This mission takes more out of him than he ever could have expected. His pride. His loyalty. His heart. Subgenre: Dark adventure Main Character: Mordrek Willets Status: Completed, revisions
Part Five: Absent All Light
Cerie Korviridi has trained for over a decade to complete the Sigillum: the ritual that will make her a fully-fledged High Poet. In the aftershocks of the brutal ceremony, she finds that her brother-in-law, infantryman Orrinir Relickim, has been taken hostage by the enemy - and that the army is refusing to send help. Her brother, Uileac, refuses to leave his husband behind enemy lines and recruits her help, making them both traitors to the Bremish government. Subgenre: Adventure Main Characters: Cerie Korviridi, Orrinir Relickim Status: In progress
Part Six: Poesy
Cerie has spent her entire life learning High Poetry, a rare skill that assists her impoverished nation in countering endless warfare. Worshipping the goddess of poets is all she has ever known – that and her hatred for the enemy. Her worst nightmare comes true when she is kidnapped by her nation’s eternal rival, a queendom seeking High Poetry to colonize her homeland. Subgenre: Adventure Main Character: Cerie Korviridi Status: Completed, in revisions
Part Seven: Shadow and Sword (tentative title)
Haniya Aina has accepted the sea change that has come to her life: disowned by her mother, the Queen of Sina, and living in exile with her lover. What she never expected was for her new countrymen to despise her - and for her murderous brother to send a stream of assassins her way. Alongside her partner, Cerie Korviridi, and her new family, she finds herself battling more pressing threats than losing her princess status. Subgenre: Adventure Main Character: Haniya Aina Status: Not started
Part Eight: Perseity
After ending the endless war, Cerie Korviridi expects to never see Sina again - except its former symbol, Haniya Aina, the disgraced Princess of the Sinan Royal Family. However, the disowned daughter is embroiled against her will in Sinan domestic politics when her mad brother, Daiski, seizes the throne. Both women must decide how far they'll go for a country that hates them - and what it means for their love. Subgenre: Adventure Main Characters: Cerie Korviridi, Haniya Aina Status: First draft completed
Part Nine: The Sorrow of the Bells (tentative title)
Cerie Korviridi and Haniya Aina knew the Sinan public would not accept their relationship easily. Not only is a royal family member marrying a member of the enemy nation, but another woman, no less. Cerie and Haniya's friends and family must protect them from all comers, whether a poisoned chalice or a knife in the dark. Subgenre: Suspense Main Characters: Cerie Korviridi, Haniya Aina Status: Not started
Part 10: Plexity
A civil war to end all others. High Poets working on behalf of their former enemies, soldiers revising their loyalties to reflect a new age. Above it all, questions of how far love can really go to save a relationship - whether that is within people, deities, or countries as a whole. Subgenre: Adventure Main Characters: Cerie Korviridi, Haniya Aina, Orrinir Relickim Status: Not started

Dragon or Draconic Muses on my blog:
Sabrina Nivian & Fuyu Boreal (F.airy T.ail oc muses), but they are water and ice dragon slayer mages who were raised by a pair of mated dragons. Sabrina and Fuyu slayed their parents out of mercy since both were chronically ill. In an AU I want to do for them, their AU selves can actually turn completely into dragons and transform out of it. Essentially, for their main verse, they are originally from an independent guild that fights against dark guilds like Jellal's future guild to redeem himself.
Kasei Kuryuu (Original Character - Fandomless) Is the representative of the Lasciaa Lahimiyaa. Her true form is that of a dragon. She is very young, but she will fulfill any threats or promises she makes. She is not romantically shippable, but once you get past her strong and chaotic facade, she is a stalwart ally. She is technically a police officer, since her organization polices the supernatural world on her planet. She was sentenced to help the organization after taking down a hospital with ties to the Cult of Miatel. She sacrificed her ability to manipulate blood to revive her twin brother, Tatsumi.
Namiko Mikage (Original Character - Fandomless) She is a hybrid of a Lasciaa-Schiaa Lahimiyaa. The Schiaa are essentially enemies of the Lasciaa, but Namiko's Schiaa mother left the ruling family for the love of her life. In a bid to leave the Minakami Clan, she promised one of her first children to them. Namiko's mother would choose to give up Namiko's younger twin sister, Umiko. Namiko would never stop trying to find her younger twin sister to rescue her from the Minakami clan. Namiko's true form is not necessarily that of a dragon, but that of a shark mermaid. She is also not romantically shippable, but she can be an ally.
Her sister, Umiko, will be coming to the blog at some point.
Set "Setsuna" Hatem (Original Character - Fandomless) He is one of the Ancient Siciliaa Lahimiyaa, one of the progenitors for the race. His true form is a dragon, but he is based on Apep or Apophis and is therefore serpentine. He is technically a crime lord, but if you want to give him information for him to pass along to the vigilante organizations, he will. Thus, he is called the "Lord of Vigilantes". He also owns the cafe Pleiades Tea Emporium. He is eccentric and a little dramatic, but he does get requests and favors done to the best of his ability, so long as you pay for your half. He is not romantically shippable, but he can be a stalwart ally.
His brother, Gru, will be coming to the blog at some point.
Jasper Corvino (Original Character - Multi-Fandom) He has a Lads verse, and in this myth, he is an amphiptere, a type of dragon that appears serpentine with feathered wings. He is loyal to Mira, who associates herself with Onychinus. He tends to be lazy and prefers to take long periods of naps, but when Mira lights a fire under his ass he works well to get information. He is shippable, but he needs someone to convince him to stop being infatuated with Mira, who only loves him as a sibling figure. He has a storm evol.
Miyuki Mochizuki (Original Character - Multi-Fandom) She has a Lads verse, and in her myth, she is a water dragon who ruled over an undersea civilization. She firmly believes dragons are guardians and protectors, not fiends. She works under Mira but frequents the port areas of the n-109 zone to make sure packages are actually delivered instead of intercepted. She has other responsibilities, but she likes being close to the water. EVER ruined her chance at life, so Miyuki fled to the n-109 zone. She has a water evol.
Charlotte Crimson (Original Character - Multi-fandom) She has a Lads verse, and her myth, she and Miyuki were half-siblings. While Crimson resembled a western dragon, Miyuki resembled an easter dragon. Crimson took over her sister's rule after Miyuki sacrificed herself to protect her underwater civilization on another planet. While Crimson may not be blood-related to Miyuki in this current incarnation, Crimson has adopted Miyuki as a little sister while they worked for the same assassin company. She is also not as nice or friendly as Miyuki. She works under Mira and is another Fire Evol user.
Yu Feiyu (Original Character - Multi-Fandom) They have a Lads verse, and in their myth, they are similar to the Chinese legend, Ao Guang, the Dragon King of the East Sea. Feiyu came from a family of art thieves in their current incarnation. When they left the family, they changed their first name to fit their gender. They are a person of few words, but around people they are close to, they will open up. They work under Mira and fight with a blade hidden in their parasol. Their Evol is also a water Evol.

hi! can you tell me about your ocs? love your art so much <3
Hey love! I appreciate your interest in my oc's and my art! I'm sorry it took long to get to your ask. At the moment, I'm highly focused on Niah Foxx, whom I've been developing since 2022.
Her main story circles around the end of Cowboy Bebop. She woke up from cryogenic sleep, decades in the future after an accident occurred in her past, only to discover that mankind has since then taken to the stars and dwell on other planets. She's surprised to find out she's now on Mars, and even more shocked by the unsettling state of planet earth and the moon, both damaged by the gate accident during her slumber. It takes her a few years to try to adjust, especially being alone in a new world with no relatives she can no longer connect with.
Niah is quite reserved and soft, observant and a compassionate young woman, and believes she's unfit for this hostile world that's full of crime syndicates with a corrupt government, as it seems society as a whole has lost a connection within itself. She believes the future is bleak, but she keeps a dash of hope alive by immersing herself in poetry and gardening that becomes coping mechanisms do deal with her loss of beloved earth. And rollerskating is a huge distraction as well.
In my Smallville verse for her, it's based on a farm au I created when I was roleplaying her with my lovely friend (niran). But in this specific verse I wanted to focus on a younger, cynical Niah in her early 20's, which fits better in with the story of smallville with a teen Clark Kent and billionaire Lex Luthor. It delves more into her family in the early 2000's and how she came to be the person she is now, a concept I can't really dive into in the bebop verse since it takes place in the future. Plus, she got powers in this verse so that's fun too.
I'm writing a fanfic: A touch in the Dark for the smallville verse to explore that side of her character as it goes deeper into her past life, only in a different fandom and a different love interest lol
I've got some writings for her main bebop verse as well, but I'mma repost them onto my new writing blog soon.
#{ jay musings }#answered asks#Thanks for asking about her :'>#I also got some key charms made of her awhile ago and need more u///u#oc: niah foxx

Helloya! 💗💋🍓🌸Sweetness*POP🌈🍭💀🌟 here!
So remember my post about an idea for a PlayStation-Verse crossover PS5 or PS6 game starring Talwyn Apogee of Ratchet & Clank, Keira Hagai of Jak & Daxter, and Carmelita Fox of Sly Cooper as the 3 main heroines?
Well, I've been thinking of what would be a good title for this game.
PlayStation Move Heroines would definitely be out of the question! 😅
At first, I was thinking what if Talwyn, Keira and Carmelita were to be the PlayStation Femme Fatales? 💋🕶🔥👙💥🔫🗡
However, I recently have been thinking about this title while doing research on fitting and positive words to describe a woman who's not only beautiful, attractive and sexy, but also strong, dangerous and empowering.
So instead, I came up with this idea, the sweetest title for Talwyn's, Keira's and Carmelita's ideal crossover game relating to PlayStationVerse could be this:
PlayStation Venus 3
This idea pop up in my mind when I was researching on Venus.
In mythology, Venus is the Roman goddess of love, beauty, desire, sex, fertility, prosperity and victory.
While in astrology, Venus is a planet of not only love and beauty, but also pleasure, money, arts and harmony.
Therefore, Venus is like a symbolism for such deep emotions like obviously love, attraction, value, and connections.
Venus is a very precious way of expressing your affections. What you truly value and desire.
Venus represents not what you need, but what you want.
I thought of all this when trying to compare Talwyn, Keira and Carmelita with Venus.
I'm just using 4 examples:
Love: The 3 female characters have their love interests: Ratchet (Talwyn), Jak (Keira) and Sly (Carmelita). They all have these romantic feelings going on. Even if off-screen (most likely in the case of Talwyn x Ratchet 😓), there could be more than what we see in just cutscenes. Talwyn, she's the canon girlfriend of Ratchet. Same goes with Keira as she's Jak's. While there is a deep, fiery and passionate love complication that Carmelita has with Sly. Imagine someday in future games (plz Sony make more J&D and Sly games), Talwyn, Keira and Carmelita will be shown to be even more in love with the PlayStation Hero Trio. And that unbreakable love shall be explored more in video games and be seen in the light!
Beauty: Talwyn, Keira and Carmelita are indeed beautiful characters in their physical appearances. They've always been blessed with such natural, beautiful and slender bodies to kill for with lovely curves and well-endowed bosoms. However, their beauty is also of their inner strength. Beauty is not only about how you look, but also the way to represent beauty like your inner strength. I'm now wondering about a good headcanon being about TKC (Talwyn, Keira and Carmelita) all not knowing or even thought of themselves being beautiful both inside and outside.
Desire: TKC all desire to have something that will achieve. The strongest desire could be about being seen as a woman who can be as someone to rely on, to be seen as an equal, and be treated with the respect that she deserves as a person. But most of all, the one desire that Talwyn, Keira and Carmelita all wish for......is to be someone's or their worlds' hero.....
Victory: The 3 PS ladies would strive to achieve something even greater no matter how much they'd have to endure, and that is victory! Whatever will come to their ways, they will do their very best into proving that they are more than just love interests or even damsel-in-distresses! With the burning passion for victory, someday Talwyn, Keira and Carmelita will surprise not only other characters from the franchises they're from, but also surprise us gamers by proving that the 3 heroines can be strong, passionate and determined women with a mind of a warrior, and their wills filled with POWER! (I was thinking of Mirio Togata/Lemillion from My Hero Academia just now 😁)
Now, imagine the symbol especially when attempting to picture the logo in your minds.
And this will be a symbol for PSV3:
The Venus symbol's cross ♀ with a six-pointed star. ✴ (Yes, I know this is an eight-pointed star emoji like Venus' morning/evening star 😅) that has a heart ❤ in the center. Plus, this symbol would definitely be seen in the 3 colors that should mainly represent the 3 main heroines in their together PS crossover game. Talwyn-Yellow 💛♀✴. Keira-Pink 🩷♀✴. Carmelita-Light Blue 🩵♀✴.
And in addition, with a brand new change of voice actresses for PSV3! Dream voice cast aka 3 star voice leads being Amanda Lee (aka AmaLee) in English and Marina Inoue in Japanese for Talwyn, Erica Lindbeck in English and Rie Takahashi in Japanese for Keira, and Cristina Valenzuela (aka Cristina Vee) in English and Yoko Hikasa in Japanese for Carmelita.
Talwyn Apogee of Ratchet & Clank, Keira Hagai of Jak & Daxter, and Carmelita Fox of Sly Cooper........the upcoming 3 main heroines of PLAYSTATION VENUS 3!
So what are your thoughts on this title idea for an upcoming PlayStation-exclusive crossover game? I'd love to read your thoughts and opinions in either your comments or reblogs.
Thank you and have a good day!💛♀✴🚀🪐🔫🩷♀✴💥🛩🔧🩵♀✴🚔🦊🔗

=The Far Future AU=
This is if I were to write Devil's Eye with a more sci-fi bent, leaning closer to influences from my favorite science fiction media as opposed to historical/period/pirate, and is intended for RP with futuristic muses and blogs.
The Legend of the Devil's Eye still applies as it would in the Main Story and the Modern AU, but taken further; in the far distant future, all of that is… well, just that. Legend. Pirate stories to tell your children as they are tucked in at night, and nothing more. What is not known, however, is that the Devil of the Sea not only still walks without his missing Eye, but the world has passed enough hands enough where searching for it has become fruitless… especially as sources of power in humanity's souls are starting to reach for the stars.
As such, the Devil has abandoned his search, opting to have… different sources of storing his power as it continues to grow. And these sources… well. The centuries haven't been kind to them or their humanity. The worst of mankind has taken a toll on what were once his last minions, but rather than allow them to go to waste, their essences are repurposed to be personal extensions of him… and how they are used is up to however he wants to at the time.
No matter the form the one once called "Master", he will always wear a necklace of seven pearls of seven different colors. In order for whatever power he has to be complete, he must keep all seven on his person at all times.
The Master, however, still requires to find the Devil's Eye--his original lost Eye--to be wholly defeated. But that would require returning to Earth and rediscovering the Legend that tells of how the Devil lost his Eye to begin with.
OOC, the focus muse of RP in the Far Distant AU is the Master, usually donning his Dr. Delmar Agdeppa disguise. However, this disguise is one of many, but with his power waxing and waning like the tides, and said power having to be divided up and store in seven different places instead of just two, he must be extra careful in how he uses that power. He will, then, continue to seek out souls, either to devour or enthrall.
As for La Demonia Roja and the Crew, that is up to the partner muse. One of the following sub-verses can used:
Variant A: The history of Earth has destroyed the humanity in the Seven so thoroughly, their bodies and souls can barely hold on any longer. However, rather than simply turn them into his Locker, the Master just repurposed them with what is left of their souls as they are wholly reduced to their Sins. Destroying a specific pearl on the necklace will release that soul into the Devil's Locker all while chipping away a bit of the Master's power. This is automatically this Verse's Doomned Ending, as the Sins are reduced to their vices and have lost their humanities altogether.
Variant B: Well, duh, humans can't handle the vaccuum of space, so the Master just kind of…. hid his thralls in pearls. Taking a pearl and breaking it will release that Sin, though it'll take a while for them to regain their bearings. They'll still be soulbound to the Master, however. Finding a way to free them will require the standard Voyage of the Devil's Eye storyline, just with whatever tech is available in this verse.
As for what kind of sci-fi I'm riding on, it's mostly the soft kind. It's also left underdeveloped so I can adjust to the Verse of the partner muse. Hence, I can easily fit it into Alien, Metroid, F-Zero, Treasure Planet, DOOM, Starcraft, any science fiction verse where an Earth may have existed once upon a time. Just don't ask how 'souls' are defined by that verse, lmao. That's too much a headache.
#[Far Future AU]#[The Master]#oh god idk if that is the most anime art I've ever done or comic supervillain#Agdeppa is way too fun to draw to just be a throw away disguise fffffffffffffffffffffff

HC: FFXIV Verse
So this post mainly pertains to the hit MMO Final Fantasy XIV and where Alkebu-lan is placed in it. Be warned though, there will be Main Scenario Quest spoilers mentioned in there, at least up to Endwalker. I highly recommend you play and experience the wonderful story yourself. However if you do not have the time or resources for such things, or aren't interested in that you may proceed. Just know you have been warned.
----
In the Unsundered world when mankind had the power of gods and could bring life to a myriad of things by merely a thought a child named Ananke, who would in the future claim the seat of Azem created and drafted up her first concept. This was a stone monkey, who would know transformations, recognize the seasons, discern the advantages of the earth and would be able to alter the course of planets and stars.
Seeing this two of her childhood friends Hades and Hythlodaeus came in and unable to resist causing a little mischief, Ananke challenged them to make their own primates. In turn, Hades made a concept of the Six-eared Macaque, whilst Hythlodaeus the Long Armed gibbon.
Soon, another joined in. Venat, who was at the time the seat of Azem saw their little activity and decided to brighten their lives with her own contribution: The Red Butt Horse Monkey. She would have knowledge of the balance betwixt light and dark, understand mankind's affairs, be adept at daily life and be able to avoid death and lengthen its life.
These concepts never saw the light of day, as they were deemed "too dangerous" and rejected. However with the world's sundering came new opportunities.
----
Alkebu-lan was given life near the end of the forth Astral era, where thousands of years of gathering much aether combined with faith and prayer from nearby tribes eventually gave her form. The people [who for clarity's sake lived in whatever version of South Africa FFXIV has] took her existence, as a sign of great changes to come. Sure enough, with the forth umbral calamity those thoughts proved to be true.
With her powers, cunning and wit, Alkebu-lan managed to assist the tribes in surviving the age of ice, encouraging them to pursue knowledge by proving it could be useful in unprecedented situations. With her efforts came the age of enlightenment, one that would ripple throughout star for eons to come.
Eventually, there came to be altercations with a certain group known as Ascians. A particular conflict with one known as "Emet Selch", also lead her to absorb some of his power and gain the ability to perceive souls.
These repeated confrontations lead her to form a connection with Hydaelyn herself and although she could not place the reason as to why, the baboon trusted her to handle the situation and assist her however she could.
At the height of the forth astral era did she disappear from humanity's eyes for a time, as she believed they had the strength to steer their own fate now. Her last recorded act as the baboon was her saving the lives of many people from the flood, before disappearing into sunset.
----
As of now, Alkebu-lan travels the world in a human guise keeping an eye on humanity from a distance. However with the vast change brought with Final Days' silence, she may yet become active again. Particularly, around a certain warrior of light.
Also for reference, I made an in-game model of her human form as well.

|| Silent Sentinel (HSR Emanator Verse) ||
Records dating back to Year 1000 SC detailed discovery of the Echidna Skywall; celestial-sized Subspace Crystalline Barriers formed into existence to separate the world from the endless void. It is suggested that the Amber Lord, Qlipoth, Lord of the Preservation: Firmament Arbiter, sought to isolate contact between planets in order to separate and protect all worlds.
Yet, the main faction (IPC) following this Aeon facilitates trade, emigration and contact between the stars with their fleet. Among the IPC was a brilliant inventor who chose to devote their entire life to following the will of Qlipoth. They understood that while the Amber Lord kept humanity and others safe from others, they are no less immune to the ravages of time and death. How then can they do their part to ensure that the Almighty Skywall continues to endure in the name of their Aeon even after their death?
The solution is simple: A creation resistant to erosion and capable of self-repairs.
Thus, Mirai is 'born'. To protect the future by preserving as well as protecting the values of the past and present: that was her sole operative.
And it is this same operative that she continues to carry out in her duties as the ever loyal sentinel of the Arcis Space Station. There is much about her that is unknown: How she came to be a priestess at the Citadel, where/how many of her replicas are stationed, what exactly is she, what secrets does her memory banks hold etc. She is a being of very few words after all.
There are however things that are known: Mirai is here to protect her fellow priests and priestesses at the Citadel from harm (be it from external forces or each other), keep the peace and ensure they step forward into a future of co-existence/harmony.
Drawing from her powers as Emanator of the Amber Lord (Preservation), she wields them with a wrathful viciousness against those who seek harm against her charges. With each day coming to a close, the dutiful being would pay respects to the Aeon and honour them.
Additional Details:
Path: Preservation Combat Type: Imaginary Image Reference: Yuuhime from Dislyte Normal Attack: Deals base damage to single opponent by extending two of her fourteen hands to claw at them (forms temporary shield scaling off damage to team for 2 turns) Skill: Fourteen hands emerge from beneath opponent to seize them in place, dealing extra dmg for two more turns (blast) Ultimate: Summons giant demonic hands from an interdimensional pocket to deal imaginary damage to all enemies, who will be imprisoned for 1 turn, enemies will have their actions delayed by 42% seconds with speed reduced by 5%.

H:SR CIEL MASTERPOST
a honkai star rail verse for black butler/kuroshitsuji canon character, ciel phantomhive.
Combat Type: Physical or Fire/Imaginary
Path: Erudition or Destruction
bio:
after losing his father to the war that raged between the family and the watchmaker, ciel has claimed his predecessor's role of sapphire among the intergalactic peace operation's ten stonehearts as well as their spot within the bloodhound family.
not many are aware of ciel's origin nor are the other stonehearts aware of his young age. ciel lives in penacony where he is seen as nothing but a villain who will do whatever it takes to get what he wants and they aren't exactly wrong.
harbouring deep hatred to the watchmaker who took everything away from him, ciel bullies and torments misha yet at the same time can't bring himself to truly hate misha himself and doesn't let anyone else hurt the other boy.
ciel struck a deal with a humanoid memory meme he calls "sebastian" at the mere age of ten years old that as long as the boy lived, sebastian would serve him and do his every bidding.
headcanons:
being the pure and innocent soul that misha is, I like to imagine he truly sees ciel as his friend. their relationship arc would likely be frenemies to actual friends or perhaps kinda frenemies but in the sense that they only act like enemies when in reality they are the bestest of friends ( think the actors of harry potter and draco malfoy when they were young and acting together in the films )
ciel is a counterpart to either hanu or boss stone. nobody in penacony is certain which one though.
I made up my own potential powers for the sapphire stoneheart I will use in this verse that includes potential future vision similar like to sapphire from steven universe. I could also see the stone containing the souls of ciel's ancestors ( bc of how in source, ciel once mentioned being able to hear screams when he closes his eyes and the way the family heirloom aka ciel's sapphire ring had been handed down from generation to generation until it reached him. )
idk the situation with double ciel in this verse yet. r!ciel may be dead or on an entirely different planet.
sebastian and ciel's relationship is still the same as in canon source ( servant and master, sebastian being ciel's main caretaker, etc. none of the gross sebaciel stuff that is only rumored to be true. ) I simply couldn't take sebastian away from him even if ciel hates the man's guts.
ciel likely is part of the entertainment department of the ipc but specializes in making games and toys for children his own age. some of these even make their way to penacony.
ciel makes for a very efficient dreamweaver and detective
sebastian works as a butler for the family

** These are just the verses I have either used or would like to use in the future. I'm always happy to discuss other potential verses as well as AU's **
Main Verse - untagged
What it says on the tin, where most interactions will likely take place. The multiverse and space bridge travel allow for all Transformers based muses to be here. Also any muse based on a relatively “modern” Earth; universal streams can cross randomly.
The Combaticons hail from universal stream Uniend 614.5 Iota
Another World - v; universal stream [unknown]
Mostly intended for other sci-fi muses, especially those based on other planets/galaxies/what have you. Can also be for far future Earth.
Backstory for the Combaticons is the same up to the Exodus of Cybertron. They still get separated from the Decepticons and Autobots, ending up back on Cybertron. By the time they get a ship, the space bridge is still open. Unfortunately, its instability leads them to being spit out far, far away from both their comrades and enemies. Their first priority is to secure a source of energon (or some other energy/fuel). Their second is to figure out just where in the universe they ended up so they can plot a course to where they should be.
The Combaticons are still proud Decepticons in this verse.
Historic - v; hearts of steel
Who knows if this will ever be used, but hey, just in case. Intended for muses from historical Earth settings.
Backstory for the Combaticons is the same up to getting to Earth. This verse is literally just having the Combaticons (and the other transformers) arrive and be active on Earth before modern times.
The Combaticons are still proud Decepticons in this verse.

VERSES UPDATE: 1/?
POST-TCW : Path of the Wayseeker.
what is it?
a good ending where Palpatine is outted as a Sith
The Wayseekers were a discontinued sector of the Jedi Order from the time of the High Republic through the end of the Clone Wars. Obi-Wan had grown interested in them during his padawan years, but it wasn't until Chancellor Palpatine was exposed as a Sith and the Separatists mostly disbanded that his curiosity became action. Being member of the Jedi Council had left him arrogant and willing, and that arrogance had cost years of suffering for the Clone Troopers, civilians, and fellow Jedi under his care. There was no future in which he could continue hold his seat in power, so he quit the Council, telling them he would remain faithful to the Force, but could no longer serve an agenda. He didn't like who the war had made him and he had to make up for it with or without the council's approval. It wasn't a statement they took to well, but whether is be nepotism or his many sacrifices throughout the years, no one argued with his decision. Along with his new padawan, @valorums, Obi-Wan left for the edges of the galaxy, helping outer-rim planets who struggled to get resources and political aide. A few months into their work, they traveled to the planet of Lothal and it was there—for the first time in years—that he felt an insistence from the Force. In fact, it was less of a suggestion and more of an urgent demand that the duo visit the Jedi Temple buried deep within the mountains of the desert. It was not a difficult journey and once inside, they discovered a trove of Jedi Wayseeker documentation that had been sealed away at the time of their disbandment. They told stories of Jedi who had done unsung deeds of overthrowing dictators, putting an end to flesh traders, helping war-torn villages rebuild their homes, and bringing attention to the struggles that were so often overlooked by the Jedi Order. They looked into all the suspicions civilians brought to them, from government conspiracies to corruption within the Order itself. They did not act as the voice of the common people, they were merely an amplifier to what was already there and they were relentless in their work. They operated outside of the watchful eye of the Council, of the senate, and they had the freedom to help where they saw fit. They didn't need approval before acting, and they needn't stay neutral in battles where there was so obviously a wrong side. It all had the potential to go horribly wrong (and Obi-Wan understood why the Order had feared them), but he knew the Force was telling him that he needed to revive the Wayseekers, that they would bring back a balance the universe had been missing. (And with how spectacularly the old system failed them, a little experimentation couldn't hurt, right?) The new Wayseekers would be Jedi, yet not Jedi all the same, not Grey, nor Sith. They would be the accumulation of the will of the people and of the Force. After establishing a team, Obi-Wan hopes to form a circle of trust with community leaders (not politicians) from different planets to help guide them.
tldr: Obi-Wan gives up his council seat and reestablishes the Jedi Wayseekers who are basically elite Jedi that act without the council's strict oversight and can get involved in plenty of nonjedi-like things
when will i be using it?
a lot
it will be my secondary verse after my main which is mid-tcw
more notes:
With the Separatist party splintered, there are a bunch of new people competing to fill the power vacuum
Obi-Wan is walking on real thin fucking ice with this stunt
Jedi Wayseekers are not Jedi Shadows, they have much more freedom of movement and are not restricted to the neutral opinion that Jedi are supposed to have
think of it like vigilante justice kinda
it's Controversial because the only people who can really keep them in check are each other
obi-wan's plan is to make a team of self-deprecating people with no sense of self worth
they yeah :// they can kill people :/?

THE BASIC GIST OF THIS GUY
In a near future, humanity has begun colonizing other planets - only to discover that they are just the newest spacefaring species in a longstanding multicultural Milky Way community. For thousands of years already, the galaxy has been governed by the Citadel Council, a board of three representatives from three politically powerful alien species. For decades now (a long time in terms of human history, but just a blink in the eyes of the galaxy), the joint human political entity the Systems Alliance has been attempting to get a human chair on the Council, to no avail. However, the tide begins to shift in unforeseen ways when the Council finally deigns to appoint its first ever human agent to the galaxy's most elite special tasks force - the Spectres. These individuals are beholden only to the Council's highest authority, deployed on secret missions of galactic importance. This first human to join the ranks is Commander Shepard.
DOSSIER
NAME: Fitz Shepard
RANK: (1) Lieutenant Commander in the human Systems Alliance N7 special forces (2) first human Spectre - an elite agent for the interspecies Citadel Council
AGE: early 30s (main verse)
BIRTHDATE: April 11, 2154
BACKGROUND: Human. Born on Earth in a megatropolis in The United North American States (essentially a massive interconnected city spanning the whole Great Lakes region of today's U.S. and Canada). Orphaned as a toddler and relinquished by his extended family to the care of a deeply flawed foster system. His young mother was estranged from this family due to some rough history he isn't privy to. He's never looked into them beyond that ("I got the hint.")
PRONOUNS: he/him
SEXUALITY: bisexual, asexual
ALIGNMENT: In DND terms, he tends toward the Good-leaning aspects of Paragon and the Chaotic-leaning aspects of Renegade.
SPECIAL SKILLS & EQUIPMENT: Elite training in standard military weapons (and some nonstandard ones), close quarters combat, general space conditioning, extreme survival skills, and multi-species first aid. Born with low-level biotic capabilities - psychic powers that can be harnessed via implants to grant minor telekinesis and shield generation. State of the art space combat armor (in red, per his preference). Favors a pistol that goes pew pew.
SHIP UNDER COMMAND: SSV Normandy, a fast-moving frigate with cutting edge stealth technology. Has a full crew.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
BUILD: Shorter than you'd expect the savior of humanity to be, about 5'7. Stocky. Wide in the shoulders but lean in the waist. Always at the peak of his own physical fitness, to a slightly neurotic degree.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS: A roundish face. His resting expression is intimidating - an intense and emotionless stare that people tend to read as ruthless, especially given his reputation. In truth, he just looks like that, and is fairly unaware that he does. Black hair kept military short, with strands always messily splayed across his forehead. Dark brown eyes with perpetual bags. Never manages to keep his stubble fully at bay and thus has stopped trying. Brown skin tone.
VOICE: He is typically on the quiet side, but when he does speak it is with a deliberateness that illustrates easy confidence. Direct and firm. Basically never raises his voice, but commands attention as if he did. Doesn't express much emotion in his tone, much like his face.
PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE
LAYER 1 - LEADERSHIP:
Known to always get the job done, no matter the cost. In his disenfranchised youth, he ran with a dangerous gang called the Tenth Street Reds, which taught him everything he needed to know about what survival entails, and how the world really works by his estimation. This has colored his military career, despite the new paint of professionalism. In the privacy of his own mind, he finds military and political elites not so different from crime leaders - power is power is power, and usually not fully bought on one's own merit. He even considers his own position as a mixture of his hard work vs pure dumb luck privileging him over others in the same circumstances who were left to rot where he succeeded, for no good reason really. He has a reputation for steely calculation, and is not above sacrificing his men (and himself) like expendable pieces on a chess board if the cause is important enough. He's also not above using savvy and bending rules to get what he needs from the intergalactic underworld. Thus far the justification has come from his track record - he damn sure gets that job done, and saves many many lives in the process.
LAYER 2 - IDEALS:
Sacrificing yourself and others for the greater good tends to be messy and flawed in practice, especially when you're a messy and flawed person yourself. Everything Shepard does is calculated against his own ever-evolving moral code, which extends beyond what the Alliance or the Council may want from him. Ultimately, he's always trying his best to do the most right for the most people in a given situation, but when only one "hero" finds himself the final say in judgments so much larger than any one person can possibly fathom... he will of course not always foresee the ramifications of his actions until it's too late. His moral code derives, in the most basic sense, from an obsession with taking care of others, both the well-meaning compassion of that but also a subconscious tendency for setting himself up as a lonely caregiver figure with no needs of his own important enough to think about. He sort of naturally fell into a big brotherly position to other struggling (doomed) kids in his youth because somebody had to, and he never quite shook the role - it's just that now it's on a galactic scale, which rather skews the parameters. Again, somebody has to. (Perhaps this ego-suppressing need to be useful originated from a poor sense of self worth. It's also mighty convenient how standing on the big brother pedestal prevents others from getting close to you. Let's not examine that, he says.) The people actually under his command tend to choose to work toward the same larger goals of their own accord and thus trust his judgment, accepting the consequences alongside him. He has his track record for getting shit done, of course, but there is also just some indescribable something about him that inspires people's faith in his intentions and ability against all odds. He is not uncaring in his pragmatism, either. If anything, new recruits expecting a butcher are surprised by his quiet warmth and upfrontness. People just like the guy.
LAYER 3 - HIS ACTUAL PERSONALITY:
The rare people who get to know him as a man beyond just The Commander find him to be surprisingly uncool, even socially awkward. Paradoxically, his complete lack of charisma is somehow deeply charismatic. He's probably autistic, in an undiagnosed but "Elcor make perfect sense to him" sort of way. Despite all his Renegade choices in times of need, he's quite sweet and respectful really, in a way that's so un-self-consciously genuine it kinda disarms people. Such contrasts in this dude. As untouchable as he tends to be, he's super lonely at the end of the day. He enjoys people who are unimpressed by him and his rank - this is the surest way for him to fall just a little bit in love with you. Maybe he's a masochist. He comes across as eternally serious, but he's got a secret mischief streak. His jokes are easy to miss because he's so deadpan about everything, but he will readily take advantage of this for a private laugh at everyone else's expense.

adam florian.
full name : prince adam alexandre florian. age : 24-36. (verse/thread dependent) birthday : october 10th gender : cis male. pronouns : he / they. sexuality : bisexual. height : 6'0" hair color : dirty blond, honey colored. eye color : bright blue faceclaim : dan stevens. iain glen (in descendants verse). thomas brodie-sangster (in child verse).
primary verses :
main : the default verse, used for most historical and fantasy interactions. adam is an arrogant yet charming prince, ruler of the aveyon province in france. he is not necessarily always cursed in most of these interactions; in fact, i default to him NOT being cursed.
modern ( rockstar au ) : adam is the frontman of the rock band, evermore. sex, drugs, rock and roll ; all of it is what’s worth living for. he strives for success for the band he’s been in since university. life should be an endless party for a rockstar, should it not? he's used to getting exactly who and what he wants, whenever he wants it.
modern ( ceo au ) : the ceo of a successful company, adam has been doing this for longer than he can remember. the job has gotten stale and boring. it’s taken his love of life and tossed it around. the role, inherited after his father’s passing, was never what he wanted, no, but it’s the path that he has been forced into. he's determined to make a change and make it his own.
star wars : prince adam florian, the future ruler of the planet of aveyon. born to the queen of aveyon and one of its senators, he’s been destined to rule from the moment he came into existence — a fact that only became all the more real following his mother’s untimely passing. his cruel, abusive father took over as king consort, given his son’s young age, not to mention the fact that adam needs to prove that he can rule before he is allowed the planet’s throne. therefore, now that adam is an adult, it’s no surprise that his father is ordering him to take up a place on the galactic senate ; to travel throughout the galaxy and see the other planets to ‘get a feel for diplomacy’. what is adam viewing these as, though? a chance to get away from his father’s tight grip ; a chance to see what the galaxy truly has to offer — even if he is going to absolutely get into a bit of trouble along the way. where’s the fun of being a prince without it?
dragon age : as the son of two orlesian nobles, adam has everything he ever could have asked for— a fine manor, a fortune that he could never hope to spend all of, and pretty men and women at his every beck and call. this all changes though when one of the people he takes to bed happens to be a mage, scorned by the way that the young noble simply casts them aside afterwards as if they were nothing more than a toy. a curse is placed upon him: having always hated the orlesian masks that they have to hide behind, the young mage curses him to have to wear it forever, never to be able to be removed… but that isn’t the worst bit. the worst bit is the one that makes itself visible whenever adam drastically loses control of his temper—— a horrid beast replaces the prince’s handsome countenance, one that he has to fight to keep control of. -this verse typically takes place in inquisition.
secondary verses : tba.

Apparently it's not as easy as you would think.
Lowballing is, in terms of Verses, is giving something the bare minimum. Why do people do this? While this Wiki Article suggests it negatively reflect on a character, the truth is to give a reasonable idea of what they are capable of. In most cases, the lowest calculation (or Low End) is used in Vs because by giving them the maximum, you could possibly give a character too much credit when a feat (unfound at the time or in the future) can show the Highball (High End) is not within their wheelhouse. You usually see Highballs being used to show just how below a person is in comparison to their opponent.
An example of such is seen in Fulgore Vs Sektor 2 by Not Death Battle. Someone on Discord clarified the calculations but both Fulgore’s High and Low Ends are in the Megatons of TNT. Sektor is basically a jobber of the Mortal Kombat series and his best feat is his goons holding Sonya whose gun barely damaged Tremor. The Highball of Sektor being able to scale to Tremor’s City Shaking feat which ends up in the Kilotons. So even Sektor being heavily favored in the calculations still is not enough to defeat Fulgore.
Simple logic, right? Lowball used to give someone the Low End of the feat in question. But others have their own ideas. I won’t say which video, but I recently saw a Vs Video where someone uses the term in both the correct way and the wrong way. To hide their identity, we’re changing the feats. Character A has flown from one planet to Earth as a feat. The person correctly used an hour because the time it took for that to happen is undetermined, but considering they were crashing to the planet it couldn’t have been more than a day. They also gave the closest planet to Earth, which is Mercury most times.
Character B is faster than Character A. Much faster, but we don’t exactly know by how much. What is the lowball in this situation? If you said “use the calculation of Character A because we don’t know much about Character B’s speed”, you are correct. Sadly, the person considers giving Character B a 20x as a lowball. That is not a lowball, that is just an assumption. Character B could be twice as fast or a million times faster, we don’t know the amount so we lowball it to Character A’s speed. If Character C, their opponent, has a similar speed feat to Character A, we would believe the two speeds are close enough to be a tie.
But why not make the assumption that Character B is 2 times or more faster? That’s the thing, we don’t really know how much faster they are. That’s the thing about fiction: they don’t really take into consideration Vs Stuff. Character B is faster because Character B is the main character while Character A is just an ally. So of course the creators will have the best stuff saved for Character B while Character A doesn’t get as much. Heck, the whole feat in question was probably something they didn’t put too much thought into.
I get being a fan and putting your favorite as high as possible. You’ve seen it in my comics with how I treat Discord, HIM and Hal Jordan. But when it comes to a Vs Debate, you have to be more realistic when trying to find calculations for these unrealistic characters. If you just keep thinking your character is unbeatable despite the opposition having better feats, you’re going to find yourself either not being very active in the Vs Community or be surrounded by people with a similar mindset. Both the fans that agree with you, and those who use the same tactics for their favorite character.
