#minecraft and #mineblr are for minecraft content. this is anything from modded, to builds, to OCs, to art. it's about the game at its core.

if you post about minecraft content creation, please do not post in these tags. please. you have your own selection of tags to post in — mcyt i believe is an umbrella category for all minecraft content creation, and sub tags, like creator names and actual SMPs exist also.

they are, at the end of the day, two different fandoms with different sub-fandoms, and mcyt is bigger and louder and (sorry) more annoying. if you're a twitter/reddit refugee and genuinely didn't know this, fair! please just cut the tags out. if you just don't care about it and want more reach you're a dick, and if it's something you've forgotten about then please start doing it again <3

i realise it's maybe hypocritical of me to put this in your tags btw but it's you guys i'm talking to. so.

this is what drove me and many other people out of mineblr and y'know. it's got to the point where minecraft is no longer an umbrella tag, but a completely different fandom, and i'd appreciate if people would treat it as such!

and then there's the even deeper rabbit hole of the fact that some mcyt content is. eh. uncomfortable. and there's people who post shipping content in mcyt and you guys get annoyed! because it's completely different content! and it's the same thing here — we don't care about mcyt because it's not relevant.

keep them separate, please. and if you're posting to minecraft because it's a big tag with more exposure then your brain has been fried by twitter and you sound insufferable

Tumblr already showed me twice a post where OP implies that Bruce made the choice to not help Jaybin when he was attacked by an angry mob in Legends, so I had to check, and look at that, they were lying.

Context: the general population has been turned against superheroes.

An angry mob does attack Robin, and what is Batman's reaction? To come to the rescue! He even immediately calls him "son", switching to an endearing term to reassure him. However, Batman is hit in the eyes with a bottle of perfume and blinded, as his attention was on his boy. Gordon tries to get him to leave, but he refuses because he can't leave his boy behind, and when Gordon tells him that his men will take care of Robin, Batman is like "I don't trust your men with my son". Batman is forced out of here, he is so pissef, and he is called "arrogant" by the cops there.

This man trusts ONE cop, and it's Jim Gordon, that's it. And people dare to tell me Bruce isn't an acab believer. He grew up in Gotham and his parents were murdered when he was 8, of course he believes in acab. That's why he was so against his son becoming one.

Anyway, later on, Jason is in the hospital (Bruce was right, Gordon's men didn't do shit), and Bruce is pissed at the situation. However, Jason feels guilty and ashamed, and Bruce immediately goes to comfort him, reminding him he isn't at fault for getting beat up, that Bruce is proud of him and that he is a great Robin. And when Jason compares himself to Dick, Bruce stops that too, bringing up that Dick also had less glorious moments like this. And again, Bruce switches to "son" and "Jay", which convey affection in the goal of comforting his boy.

In the end, Bruce leaves his son safe at the hospital, resolved to not obey the president and get to the bottom of this. Later, Jason decides he cannot stay there and must help, even if it kills him. And people dare say that he wasn't reckless.

Anyway, the other thing about this, apart from Bruce didn't walk away WILLINGLY from Jason being attacked by an angry mob, is that as awful this is, the writers never intended this to be a traumatic experience for Jason. Of course, it would be normally, but it's just a plot point here to get Robin away from Batman while he works with the other heroes. Damn, there isn't even a follow-up to Jason leaving the hospital, he doesn't show up in the next issues to help.

Sometimes, especially with older stories, comics' events don't matter as much as you think they do. If you want to re-imagine them as impacting for the characters, that's your choice, but let's not act as if they were intended to be. Because I saw that moment being used as a comparison to Under The Red Hood, to be like "see Bruce keeps abandoning Jason", and like, calm down with the shortcuts. Because you are making that up, on your own, with what was given to you by different writers over the decades that didn't communicate with each others or agree on the characters.

Been reading time travel fics all day and i love the marineford ones and i just think id be absolutely great if as Luffy and Ace are sailing away, and Luffy realizes he's about to swap places again, he pulls out his wallet full of photos and hands Ace one specific photo. He's talking about how happy he is Ace is alive, how much he loves him and how much Ace's new family loves him. And he places that photo in Ace's hand, saying how much Sabo and Ace's daughter love him. Ace is confused. He looks down at the photo to see a silly family picture. His eyes first go to the blond, slowly realizing its a older Sabo. He's got a scar but thats Sabo's face wearing Sabo's hat. Sabo and Luffy are pointing at a unfamiliar child whos being held by Yamato. Ace is speechless. He flips the picture over and it says "1 year anniversary of Wano" on the back. Ace says he doesnt understand. Luffy tells him how Sabo is alive. How he was saved by Luffy's dad and he's free. That he lost his memories and he gets them all back in a day or two. Luffy then says he goes to Wano to fight Kaido with Traffy (whos shocked by this but he can get in line because Luffy has already lore dropped on Jinbe's and Marco's futures) where they met Yamato and his daughter. Luffy proclaims he loves his niece so much before ripping into Ace for having irresponsible sex. Everyone is giggling as Ace's little brother gives Ace a sex talk. Luffy then starts regaling the audience with the other photos in his wallet ("this is me and Jinbe! And this is Traffy when he got drunk after we kicked Mingo's ass! And this is Zoro with his friends-" "holy shit thats Dracule Mihawk")
