I have been in the fandom for around 2 years now i think!

Do i have any complaints about the fandom/manga.

A lot actually, the manga focused on fan service especially female characters. Characters are either bland or don’t appear anymore and the recent fight seem rushed and boring.

The fandom? Oh boy, i have seen pedophiles, tracers. Insect supporters, ppl hating characters for misogynistic reasons (mainly women hating a female character) victim blaming, the concept of ‘lookism’, ppl putting the OG Mythology wives down to make themselves look better. Cheating apologists, And trying to get ppl to call them by a god’s name. Those are just a few.

I haven’t read any of them. But i feel as if ror is prioritizing them atm. The main manga is flopping while they continue to make spin offs and tey to shine the light else

Plot: Ares discovers the best hair oil in his life. 🤍

A/N: Ares said, “We need more Cécred!” 🗣️

Quiet mornings were the best.

Ares, the god of war was sleeping in.

The morning sun had already risen as the handsome, well toned god was sleeping peacefully as he kindly snored a bit. Laying beside him was his lover, his beloved and a sweet lover of many years.

Ah, but even the gods can’t always have everything.

The bedroom door opened as a familiar god entered, used to waking up his brother from his sleep. “Wake up!” Throwing a pillow at his brother making Ares choke on his own spit waking (Name) in the process.

“What’s going on?”

Both Ares and (Name) asked in unison still waking up from their sleep, Ares blonde hair was essientally all over the place. Hercules, sighed as he informed Ares that he was sent to get Ares as he had a meeting today and the other gods were waiting for him.

Panic set in as the god of war rushed to find his clothes, sighing Hercules mentioned he told Ares about the meeting yesterday and not to forget. Ares yelled while in the bathroom that he didn’t forget he was just sleeping.

“Well, since I’m not needed..I’m going back to sleep.”

(Name), like anyone else, decided to get back in bed and sleep. Meanwhile, Ares had quickly managed to get dressed and being pressed for time decided to grab whatever. Luckily, Ares grabbed some hair oil in a fancy bottle as he quickly read “Cécred” “Nourishing hair oil.” Ares didn’t think nothing of it as he was pressed for time and added the hair oil in his hair.

“…Hey.”

Ares quickly looked in the mirror and noticed his hair was shiny and his frizz was gone. It actually looked really nice, his hair strands were smoother and even his curl that was in front on his face was bouncier. Before Ares left he gave (Name) a kiss on the cheek and thanked her for the oil. Once he left, (Name) arose from the bed realizing that Ares meant the nourishing hair oil that (Name) bought and a few days ago.

“…He used my Cécred?!”

Checking the small bottle (Name) could tell Ares used it, and while most people probably would have been upset (Name) was more concerned with how Ares looked as (Name) was still half way asleep and didn’t get a good look at Ares.

In the meeting, Apollo was the first to notice.

Technically, it was Hercules who noticed but from the gods it was Apollo who noticed how well put and beautiful Ares hair was. The god of light complimented so much Ares that Hermes took notice.

“What did you use?”

“Do you have anymore of that hair oil?”

For once Ares was bombed with questions from the gods and since he liked the attention he mentioned that it was (Name)’s hair oil and that he just grabbed it without thinking.

“Yes, but what it called? The name of the hair oil?”

Apollo asked as he really wanted to know so he could get some of his own. Ares, squinting his eyes as he recalled the name on the bottle and came out with several names that wasnt the name until he finally said “Cécred” Apollo and Hermes had never heard of it before but would make a visit to ask (Name) themselves.

Throughout the day everyone complimented Ares on his hair, and felt proud his beloved had great quality taste in hair care.

When he returned home that morning (Name) was waiting for Ares, Ares could tell his beloved used the hair oil because of how beautiful their hair looked. The two shared a kiss while Ares embraced his beloved in his strong arms.

Both having shiny and well moisturized hair.

“What is this?!”

Apollo saw his two uncles Poseidon and Hades with shiny and moisturized hair sitting in the meeting room. Hermes, also had his hair styled differently, with his parted one side as he informed Apollo he tried the Cécred and he liked it. Hades and Poseidon had managed to get their hands on the bottle and recommend Apollo try it.

Apollo grabbed Hermes and told him to take him to the place where he could get this amazing hair oil.

Apollo needed to get his hands on that hair oil at all costs. Human made or not.

Headcanon: what it would be like being around these two.

🦁 🐏 unless you are massively tall yourself, you are the short one but that’s okay. These two are the most fun and kindly accepting gods around ✨

🦁 🐏 I hope you’re the one that thinks a lot because the two together are the equivalent of:

Ares: if you do it, I’ll do it.

Hercules: I’ll do it, if you do it.

And it’s like something they shouldn’t be doing like maybe, bench pressing a mountain 🏔️ or maybe taking one of Hera’s apples!🍎 but hey Ares was hungry and needed that apple. So you have to be the one to tell them, “let’s not do that.” You have to be the balancer. ✨

🦁 🐏 also! Don’t, I repeat! Don’t tell Hercules who your secret crush is! Ares either! You have to tell these two not to tell anyone or else they’ll casually walk up to you or say from a distance how you and your crush make a cute couple ✨ lol it’s not that they can’t keep a secret, you just have to tell them not to say anything.

-Bonus: if you like Ares or Hercules and you tell the other person they’ll be your wing man to get you closer to the said person. Like, Hercules will somehow manage to get Ares to take you somewhere (because Ares needs a little push) or he’ll always push you two together for assignment. Ares will do the same, he probably likes to do the famous: “I’ll say all three of us are going to theatre, but I don’t show up so the two can have a date.” Ares also always makes plans at night 🌙 because he believes dates in the morning don’t count, it has to be night for it officially be a date.

-bonus: if you like both, youll have to tell both otherwise you could be in the friend zone for awhile. Hercules would pick up on the signs first that you like him first, Ares probably picks up that you’re flirting but he’ll probably won’t think anything of it and will chop it up as you two are good friends. (Unless you’re really, really coming on strong…then he gets it) ✨

🦁 🐏 if anyone picks on you, that’s essentially means they are picking on Heracles and Ares too. These two gods don’t stand for that. Like, imagine someone picking on you or you had altercation with someone and the next day they look over their shoulder to see two huge ass gods wanting to know if there is a problem. Like, that’s scary as they both 6’10 😭 and weigh probably 280+

🦁 🐏 if you hang out with one more than the other, the other is going to get a little jealous and will stick to you until time is even again and believe me they know.

-If you need alone time, they totally understand and will give you space. But they’ll miss you the entire time and are always happy to see you again. ✨

🦁 🐏 having one of those days where you don’t feel like yourself, both are supportive in their own way. Hercules will give compliments to boost you back up and Ares will give compliments while getting you your favorite item; food, jewelry, hair products, clothes, etc.,

Sad bonus:

🦁 🐏 before round 4 Hercules gives you his scarf because you’re cold and tells you to always wrap up and that he’ll be back to wrap it around you again after his round. After the round, both you and Ares keep it close at all times. 🥹

☠️He’s a top student. On top of most of his classes, and he’s a senior.

☠️ Mostly hangs out with Qin or his brothers. He doesn’t necessarily have friends but a lot of ppl want to be tho, only he focuses on being a big brother.

☠️ Listens to a lot of music tastes. Like his play list is full of mood swings. It contains: Classic music, Pop Music, HipHop, Heavy metal ect. It kinda depends on what he feels tbh. A few of his faves would be: Tupac, Beyonce, Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B and Mozart.

☠️Drives a nice car which made him very popular. He used it to take his brothers everywhere but he ended up sharing it between his brothers and bought a motorbike of his own🤭

☠️ He had a lot of piercings: Ears, lip, Eyebrow…nipple…But he looks good and knows how to pull it off. Like just Imagine it. Gah dayum

☠️ He actually skipped class?? You wouldn’t expect it from him but he did skip class. It’s not often but once in a blue moon. Most of the times it’s cause he wants to hang out with his brothers.

☠️ goes to all the house parties. As good of a student he is, he also likes going out. So most of the time he gets invited to parties or hang outs.

☠️ most ppl thought he was a player but ended up being one of the ppl that married their high school sweetheart. He might have dated some ppl but they weren’t flings but actually legit relationships

☠️ he’s the therapist friend fr. Genuinely knows when there’s something wrong and asks, not in public tho. He doesn’t judge but actually listens to you. He also offers comfort if you need it. What a goat

☠️ man could do anything and he wouldn’t get into trouble. Mostly because all the teachers love him as a student so shawty has a good reputation.

☠️ He’s bad at art yet has very nice cursive handwriting. Probably because he takes extra poetry lessons. Or he practiced it till he was satisfied.

☠️ Is in the chess club with Beelzebub and the birb. They often play and even have participate in Tournaments.

☠️ He’s the type that also chose languages as subjects, so like German, French, Italian, Chinese, Latin and ofc Greek. Probably because his ass has a photographic memory

☠️ doesn’t eat cafeteria food and actually goed off campus to buy food. If some of his lessons are canceled he just goes to restaurants or shopping streets to kill time

☠️ Actually doesn’t rly do his homework. He only does it in classes that check homework or give bonuses for it, otherwise he usually doesn’t do it. Besides he only studies like 2 weeks before the week where all the tests are. Unless he knows he needs more time for a certain subject. Then he catches up

☠️ Went to Spain, Germany and France because he choose those subjects and teased his younger brothers for it. He did buy them a requested item for each of em. Not Zeus cause he requested a Latina babe.

☠️ He has a place in school where he always sits when he aint off campus. So if ya eveer try to find him he’s probably there.

🪷 LOVESS LOVES LOVES school trips. He always buys snacks for em. He usually researches the place where yall is going so that he can divide the time and go see the whole place instead of just only doing the assignment.

Shiva:

🧿 Laid back student that barely passes but doesn’t really mind.

🧿 member of the party club! He hosts all the dances, plays, school events, parties, gala’s. Anything to do with the sort!

🧿 Also a big fan of house parties. Good music, good vibe, lots of ppl, drinks n a good home? He’s all in.

🧿 He 100% had music, art and religion as a subject. Dancing is included with art and he gives extra lessons to the youngsters. He might even have his own dance club on campus.

🧿 He’s also a fan of p.e. He 100% has a one sided rivalry with Hercules and Ares. But if it’s Ares and Hercules against each other he’s on Hercules’ side.

🧿 He hosted a Gala for the seniors and it was so goated, he even had a department for ppl who didn’t want to dance and put on game consoles on the big ahh boards.

🧿 He and Poseidon were playing Mario Kart and SSBU against each other. Half of the ppl there spectated on how the two were so focused and at each other’s throat. But after that Shiva went back to dancing.

🧿 A lot of ppl think that he’s poly but he’d monogamous and has a girlfriend. Aka Parvati. Who was his partner to homecoming. Which he hosted ofcourse.

🧿 Skips school so much that he once had to have a conversation with the school therapist to make sure there was nothing going on at home. (There isn’t) but he played it off cause he a smooth talker and got away with it.

🧿 He’s besties w Rudra. They’re the duo that everyone knows cause they’ve been going to the same school and usually have most classes together. Even if they don’t like the subject. Like you can see Shiva in some classes they don’t have together cause he just asks the teacher it its cool and most of the time it’s cool. Most.

🧿 They the duo that they meet each other in the halls cause they both got sent out of the classroom. Or they both have detention and never do any work in it there.

🧿 you can usually spot them outside going for a run or at the gym. They also share a playlist for of they go to the gym and its very intense. Or they’re goofing around and end up doing something else.

🧿 He’s also in Hades class as a senior but they aint rly close, no bad blood but they just have their own friends. Though If they were to be paired up they’d make a very good duo.

🧿 Also a big fan of Culture day. But the best part is that Parvati is in a beautiful sari, her make up done, mehendi on her hands and feet, churias on her arms, a veil on her head. Hmm perfect.

🧿 He lowkey beefs with Loki but does it in a goofy way y’know. Like he seems very intimidating cause of his physique and height but he’s lowkey chill and doesn’t bother ppl.

🧿 is lowkey a model together with Poseidon. He posts a lot of pictures on his insta, Indian weddings (they’re the best) pics of himself or if he went somewhere. Some of them are lowkey so aestheticly pleasing.

Despite it being so small it had it’s own charm in a way. The way how other’s interacted and how it was always peaceful. Man i really wish the fandom could be like that now too, although it’s not as small. But i do hope it’ll get its charm and spark back😭

I don’t know why but it felt really nostalgic in a way to me😭 cause you were always one of the main and big blogs

I remember 🤍💕 I loved it when was small, everyone had a lot of theories and a lot of ideas. It really does feel nostalgic 🥹 it’s always small fandoms that are usually the best.

@holdyourwine and @radioactivesweet were always my favorites when I first came into the fandom.
