Help Iyad's Family!

Iyad @eyadalanqar and his family have been displaced multiple times. Their home was destroyed by bombing, and they tried to take refuge in Al-Shifa Hospital, but it was bombed as well. They are living in fear of missiles going off around them, and they are desperate for help.

He and his family, included several young nieces and nephews, are lacking shelter, food, and water. Iyad has also developed breathing issues from the smoke and phosphorus, and has been unable to get treatment.

Right now, Iyad has only raised €1,898 out of his goal of €40,000. Donations have been small and slow, and he hasn't received any for over a day. Bombs have been falling around him, and he fears for his and his family's lives.

I will keep it short, since time is of essence here and it would be better to act now than later:

On November 6 2024, Suad ( @suad-khaled ) updated her gofundme and wrote that she has not been able to provide her newborn son with either milk or baby formula. The blockage imposed by the occupation has resulted in high inflation rates, and Suad has not been able to buy anything nourishing for a long time. As of now baby Khaled is having to drink rice water as a substitute.

Every basic necessity for childcare has shot up in price ( a pack of diapers can cost as high as $50 USD). This is impossible to afford, and children are falling ill, when families are having to make do with cheap and expired products. Khaled suffered from diarrhea last month after drinking cheap baby formula.

Another important thing is that Khaled needs regular medical attention. He is suffering from painful chest infections due to breathing in toxic debris dust and asbestos that is now present in the air of Gaza Strip after more than year of incessant bombing by the occupation forces. Khaled, who is only five months old needs daily nebulizing sesssions and other medicines which are expensive.

Suad is trying her very best to save her child but tumblr keeps shadowbanning her and thus makes it difficult to reach out to people on here for help. So please follow Suad on her blog and pay attention to her posts. Things have been especially difficult for her, often with no donations coming in for days. Everything costs tenfold now and Suad writes: I am, trying to give my child some small sense of security in the midst of chaos. I can’t help but wonder, is $20 too much to ask to keep him alive?  For a child who’s already suffering from malnutrition, a small donation could mean the difference between life and death...

Let me tell you about the largest and most dangerous prison in the world—a prison of genocide. This prison, called Gaza, stretches 41 kilometers in length, with a width varying between 6 to 12 kilometers, covering an area of 360 square kilometers. Inside this prison, children, the elderly, and even animals and cats live in fear. Everyone is punished here, and the cruelties seem endless.

In this prison, people are burned alive without reason. Others have their limbs amputated without anesthesia, because medicine is simply unavailable. There are those who are shot just for searching for water or food for themselves and their families. This is what happened to Ahmed’s cousin—he was out to get water for his children, only to be struck by a bomb. He died, leaving behind his children, including a newborn baby.

In this place, random shelling never stops. Everyone is constantly threatened—death, burning, or being imprisoned in an even smaller cell, where torture is inevitable. And of course, there is barely any food or water here. Only kind souls like you provide the little that helps these families survive in this massive prison.

Inside this prison, people are punished without reason, without trial, because international courts can do nothing, and injustice has become the norm. Everyone in Gaza must endure their sentence, though no one knows how long they will survive—whether they will succumb to hunger or be killed by the bombs before they can taste freedom.

This is the brutal reality for our families in Gaza. Please, don’t leave them to suffer in this prison. Help them escape this torment and breathe the air of freedom. i don't have any words to describe the cruelty of the israeli occupation. in the last year, around 17,000 palestinian children have been murdered by the iof.

a blockade has been imposed on gaza. no aid has entered gaza since may. this means that the supply for things like baby formula, flour, medicines, vegetables and clothes is running low. prices for all these things have increased.

because of the israeli manufactured famine, mothers in gaza are facing extreme difficulties in giving birth and taking care of their newborn babies. the miscarriage rate has risen drastically. expecting mothers are not able to consume the prescribed amount of calories that is required for a fetus to properly develop. they are having c-sections without anaesthesia. there is no baby formula in the north of gaza.

despite all these hurdles, life prevails. babies are being born in gaza everyday, under the genocide. they are loved and cared for by their families. their loved ones are doing what they can to feed the little ones and ensure their safety. these babies have a gentle kind of love that prevails over everything, even when surrounded by death and destruction.

@suad-khaled is a mother to a beautiful five month old baby named khaled. baby khaled needs formula and warm clothes to stay safe and healthy. unfortunately, it is difficult to purchase these things as they are very expensive. his health is deteriorating and he needs medicines too.

Friends, I’m reaching out again for support for my family in Gaza. what do you think the number of evacuation counted ?

and each time they return to even less. In my family 10 children suffer daily from constant stomach pain and diarrhea because of the scarce, contaminated food. With no safe food or water in sight, they desperately need help.

My family also includes 3 infants, including the youngest, baby Meryem, born just months ago during this horrific war. My sister nearly lost her life giving birth due to a lack of medical resources. She’s still suffering from severe infections because she couldn’t get the care she needed.

TIME SENSITIVE: HELP AHMED AND HIS FAMILY ESCAPE GENOCIDE

I don't understand how after multiple people - including YouTubers with sizeable followings - have promoted Ahmed and his family's campaign, they STILL haven't reached their goal and their fundraiser has virtually stagnated so close to the final target.

This is unacceptable for a family who has been displaced 11 times, possibly more, who has struggled with disease and starvation and the threat of murder by bombing with three small children to care for. With the situation in Gaza -- where my friend and his family are trapped -- changing near daily, the border may open and they may not have enough to pay to leave, rendering them stuck beneath the shells and sniper bullets of the zionist occupation of their land. Please don't let this happen. Ahmed asks me sometimes why donations have stopped and if there is anything I can do, and I resent the idea of telling him that despite the efforts of many, people choose to withhold even 5 euro to save he, his wife, and their babies.

When you make posts about fundraisers, one thing you will notice is whether the post helps bring in donations or not. You can see if your words motivate people to donate. Lately, this has been fucking depressing because people are expressing genuine apathy to the most horrific and vile violence and suffering.

Previously, I mentioned how Shahed (@shahdhatem) has survived a shooting in her area. Only a few donations has been received.

Two week laters, I bring up the fact that she is near an intense shooting. Even less donations than before.

Now I have mentioned that she was very close to getting killed in a bombing, and no one donates.

I know donations have slowed down, but the lack of compassion is what draws the line for me! What more can I say? Isn’t Shahed and her family going through a fucking genocide enough? It should be enough! 

At the same time, I have seen the same people donate to multiple fundraisers. It makes me wish others would do the same. So please give Shahed and her family a chance. Donate and share. Disabled Child in Need of Help!

Please, spare some time out of your day to hear the story of Nour Ashour @noor-yashour and her son Muhammed.

Nour and Muhammed both are suffering through the ongoing war in Gaza. Muhammed is just 4 years old, and due to a lack of oxygen at his birth, he deals with muscle relaxation and inability to move. He requires regular physical therapy and medications, but he is unable to access either of these things due to the war.

Purchasing medicine, food and water for Muhammed and her other family members is difficult and expensive. Unfortunately, Nour has only reached a fraction of her goal, and donations have been slow recently. As of posting, she has only received one donation in the last 8 hours!!!

We all have our dreams and desires, but currently for many people, dreaming alone has become a luxury for the world is hellbent on denying them their humanity.

It has been well over a year of Palestinian genocide and people lost their homes, their families and even their dreams. One such story is of my friend Mahmoud Abu Hamam ( @ma7moudgaza2 ) who was an engineering student and dreamt of completing his degree and starting a life of his own. However at only twenty years of age, the dream of his life was taken away from him and he now spends his time in a tent, cold and often hungry, trying to communicate with people and requesting them to pay attention to his campaign. The only thing Mahmoud dreams of now, is for an end to this occupation, to this genocide so that he may live in a warm house and sleep in a warm bed. He hates that to the world he is just a number, to be talked about broadly in debates and that no one knows him or tries to see him as a person. He hates that he is just another fundraiser on a social media site and how the world cannot see that he has been reduced to this one identity on the internet, because of the violence of the occupation. As of now even his campaign is not going well and today he received only THREE DONATIONS. Mahmoud is heartbroken over it and doesn't know what to do or what is left of him. So please do something for Mahmoud. The world failed his dream for no fault of his own and now he feels like the world will fail his campaign as well. Please do not grow complacent. BOOST AND DONATE. Mahmoud's family is staying in Nuseirat, where earlier today, Israel bombed a school sheltering hundreds of displaced families! At least 17 people were killed, including 9 children! The youngest of the martyrs is a baby who is only 11 months old! Children were literally torn to pieces according to eyewitnesses! This is the 196th school in Gaza that Israel has bombed!!

Mahmoud has 17 family members, including 10 children stuck in Nuseirat right now. When I heard that 17 people had been killed, among which are multiple children, I was so worried for Mahmoud’s family. I was so worried that the worst had happened to them. School should have been a place where they can study and learn, not a place they are sheltering in because their home has been destroyed, not a place where they have to worry about being torn into pieces by bombs!

Life for these 10 children is very difficult. In addition to facing frequent bomb threats, they have lost their home, and they also lack most basic necessities. Food and clean water are hard to come by, and if they are available, they are very expensive. Prices in Gaza have skyrocketed to 300% of their normal price, so often they cannot afford to buy daily necessities like food and medical supplies! Please help them reach $4500 by the end of this week so the children will not go to sleep hungry! You literally have the ability to save the lives of these children!

Well, if you care about disabled rights, you should be caring about the rights of the disabled people in Ghazzah right now. Muhammad, only 4 years old, is one of those people.

Muhammad is the son of Noor, and he is one of 2 siblings. He was born with a condition that causes his muscles to be very weak and makes it difficult for him to move.

In order to to treat his condition, Muhammad received regular physical therapy sessions, which really improved his quality of life and health.

However, when the siege on Ghazzah began, Muhammad was no longer able to receive the medical treatment that he desperately needs. He is now displaced with his family, living in unbearable conditions without basic resources, and his health has been rapidly deteriorating

This treatment is essential to Muhammads survival, and without it his life is in grave danger.

In order to help Muhammad continue his treatment and evacuate Ghazzah, Noor is trying to raise £80,000. So far, she's only raised £4,367, and her last donation was 4 hours ago.

We have the comfort of studying in peace and having access to all the important resources that may help us succeed in our career- however not all of the students are as lucky. For example my friend Marah ( @freepaleatine95 ), was a student of engineering and now has been struggling to survive through a genocide. Her family needs your help to buy essential items for winter- the rain almost drowned her sister's tent and they have not being able to buy warm clothes or blankets. Attacks on Nuseirat Camp has been relentless, and I worry for my friend Mahmoud’s family (@mahmoudfamily1). Just last night, 8 people have been killed in Israeli attacks on Nuseirat, including 2 children! A family home was targeted by missiles and destroyed, and an entire displaced family of 4 were killed while they were sleeping in their tent! Yesterday alone, 25 Palestinians were killed in Israel’s attacks on Nuseirat and Bureij refugee camps. Most of these martyrs were women and children. Israel forces are targeting displaced families, displaced families like Mahmoud’s family! Do you know how worried I am for them?

Mahmoud has 17 family members, including 10 children (!), currently stuck in Nuseirat! Their lives are in constant danger and they have recently narrowly escaped a bombing, but their tent has been completely destroyed! Now, in addition to the frequent airstrikes, there is absolutely nothing to protect these 10 little children from the rapidly dropping temperature and the heavy rain! They need all the support they can get, but Mahmoud's campaign is barely getting any donations!

Mahmoud’s campaign has been vetted and is #117 on @/gazavetters vetted list! My friend has had this gfm campaign since May and still he has only reached 1% of campaign goal! Donations are coming in really slowly, please help!

Urgent!! Fundraiser extremely low in donations.

I want to talk to you today about Maram Ashour ( @ashourmohammed ). She is Amal Ashour’s sister-in-law and has been in dire need of our help for a month now. I realised today how important it is to try and make everyday the best for a campaign, because at any moment, a family can be cut off from the outside world. It can be because they lost a phone, or it was damaged. Maram wanted to talk to you all so bad and share her story, but her phone screen was burned and she couldn't campaign as much as she wanted to. So now that she has tried her best to reach out again, please just give her 5 minutes of your time. 

Maram is only 26 years old and she has been forced to go through unimaginable pain for more than a year now. 

She has two very young kids: Amir and Hoor. Hoor is only 10 months old, which means she was born during the genocide. Maram had to go through unimaginable pain during her pregnancy. 

I want to remind you that this genocide is a feminist issue, too. Expecting mothers were forced to give birth in awful and unhygienic conditions, where they risked death. Women lacked both food and medicine and newborn babies couldn't  breastfeed properly  because their mothers were malnourished.

Maram was heavily pregnant when she was displaced from North Gaza. Currently her family  is living in a torn tent in Nuseirat, which we know is prone to IOF attacks. Being very close to the Netzarim corridor, there are frequent explosions and the family is under constant threat of displacement. 

With the temperature dropping rapidly, Maram is scared for her children. She might need to replace the tent and she will definitely need to buy blankets. Your contribution will also help Maram provide little Hoor with milk and diapers. Amir, who is only 3 years of age, needs new clothes for winter. 

I know that things have been difficult lately but still we should not give up on the Palestinian cause or blame Gazans for the rise of fascist sentiments in the Imperial core. Gaza is being bombed continuously and mothers are still clutching at their kids in fear. Not many of us here have known this evil, and so as privileged citizens of this world ( privileged to not face an escalating genocide), it is our duty to continue to stand in solidarity.  So please donate, even if it is a little. It might make a difference between life and death for Maram.

Zakaria has always dreamed of becoming a doctor, a dream that now feels almost unreachable due to the ongoing war and genocide. Last year, he was supposed to complete his final year of high school, but because of the mass destruction and violence, he never got the chance to study. Time is passing, and without the right conditions, Zakaria may lose another year of education.

One of Zakaria’s biggest hopes was to leave Gaza and continue his studies abroad. However, the cost of leaving is far beyond our family’s means. We are aiming to raise 7,500 CAD (around 5,000 EUR) to help Zakaria get out of Gaza and continue his education, if the opportunity arises.

Despite the unimaginable conditions, Zakaria has managed to collect a few schoolbooks and is studying on his own, hoping to complete his high school education this year. He studies under the constant bombardment, surrounded by the sounds of drones, missiles, and the devastation of war—conditions no one should have to endure while trying to learn.

Zakaria is one of the 17 members of MahmoudFamily, and he deserves the chance to fulfill his dreams like any other student in the world. With your support, we can help Zakaria escape this ongoing genocide and continue his education in a safe environment.
