📚 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪 📚 𝗔 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥 by Shalini Boland ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm so thrilled to share my thoughts about A Perfect Stranger as part of the book tour hosted by Love Books Tours. Thank you for my spot on the tour, and for the advance copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. 𝗠𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪 I was chomping at the bit to read this book because anything from Shalini Boland will be epic. A Perfect Stranger was filled with suspense, twists and turns to throw me off track repeatedly, and plenty of tension. I felt myself automatically turning the pages (flicking my kindle screen) as the author racked up the tension to THAT ending. Brilliant. The story is told from the perspectives of Emily and Dani. Two very different women, who don’t even like each other. I liked Emily but couldn’t warm to Dani. I simply could not shake the feeling that Aiden was a wrongun from the outset and that meant I couldn't connect with the character, so empathy escaped me. Overall, this was a thrilling read, which kept me up way too late. Would I recommend this book? In a heartbeat! I gave A Perfect Stranger, by Shalini Boland, five stars, and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. #ad #gifted #aperfectstranger #shaliniboland #bookouture #thriller #booklover #bookstagrammers #johnsbookshelf #bookstabloggers #bookreader #blogtour #bookstagram #bibliophile #bookshelf #bookaddict #igreads #bookblog #readabook #johnsbookshelfblogs #bookaholic #fortheloveofbooks #goodreadschallenge2022 #bookpost #blogpost #johnsbookshelfreviews #johnsbookshelf #honestreviewsonly (at Southampton, England, U.K.) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cf9_nJ5rXKL/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

🅱🅾🅾🅺 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆: 𝙈𝙮 𝙇𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙂𝙞𝙧𝙡 Author: Shalini Boland Ratings: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Jill agrees to take her granddaughter Beatrice to a fair when her son Oliver is caught up with some work not informing her daughter-in-law Claire. Just for a moment, Jill gets distracted from a phone call from her ex-daughter-in-law and Beatrice just vanishes from her sight. Claire is furious with Oliver and Jill when she heard the news because she doesn't trust Jill with her child and Oliver was supposed to take Beatrice to the fair. She goes frantic and does everything possible to find her child. Jill and Oliver stand by her in her search but they both are hiding something from her. And then there is Oliver's ex-wife Laura whose behaviour creates suspicion about her. With increasing suspicion about Jill, Laura and Oliver and not even a single clue about her daughter will Claire pull herself together to find the whereabouts of her daughter? We get so restless even when there is a small scratch on our babies then how does a mother feel when her child goes missing and there is no news if she is alive or not for weeks. This domestic thriller has these emotions portrayed brilliantly. The story with strong characters, plot twists, mystery and a lot of suspense is a perfect book that will keep you on the edges of your seat till the end. I enjoyed this book so much and I recommend it to everyone who loves thrillers. Looking forward to reading more books from the author. #Netgalley #MyLittleGirl #ShaliniBoland #bookreview #mystery #suspense #thriller #bookstagram #bookstagramfeatures #bookstagramfeaturesonly #bookishladiesclub #bookstalove #bookstagramengagement #booklove #bookworminsta #bookworm #instabooks #booksofinstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/CP5WzxdLWqq/?utm_medium=tumblr

📕 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪 📕 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗬 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗬 by Shalini Boland ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 𝙎𝙮𝙣𝙤𝙥𝙨𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙨 Its my pleasure to present my thoughts on The Family Holiday as part of the Bookouture book tour. As usual I send my thanks for my spot on the tour and for the copy of the book in exchange for my honest review. 𝗠𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 Like anyone reading a Shalini Boland book for the first time, I found myself wondering how on earth I had missed her previously. Before I had made it a quarter of the way in, I had gone and bought another of the author’s books on Kindle. Her writing style was seamless, the story compelling and I found it refreshingly original. The tension started almost immediately and was turned up to eleven by the end. The characters were well rounded and felt believable. There’s Beth, desperate to make everyone happy and keep the peace with domineering husband Niall, even at the cost of her already shredded nerves.  Luciano is happy to be out of an abusive marriage, and to have found a friend. Amber doesn’t seem to like Beth at all, despite having never met her, and husband Renzo is so laid back he’s positively horizontal. I tried and tried but I could not make myself like Niall. He was the sort of person who took himself far too seriously, and thought the world revolved around him. If I knew him, I’d probably end up doing a ‘Will Smith’ on him. Overall, I wanted to read this brilliant book so quickly, but then suffered the inevitable hangover of a person who feels empty without more of the book to read. I think it’s fairly obvious that I really enjoyed the read, so it isn’t surprising that I would recommend this book to any reader of mysteries and psychological thrillers. I gave The Family Holiday, by Shalini Boland, five stars.
