Comunicare con voi Buon salve miei cari divoratori di libri! Come state? Io ho iniziato l'università e ho bisogno di prendere un nuovo ritmo, ma devo dire che mi piace moltissimo e pian piano penso mi abituerò! Let’s Talk About Books--Rating Guide

Here is the basic rating guide I will be using for my video game reviews, and the criteria I will be taking into account. A lot of these criteria will be similar to those used for movies/shows/video games, so duplicate aspects will just be noted.

Criteria shared with movies, shows, and/or games

Characters Plot Entertainment value Dialogue/[Writing] Quality 

Tone

Ex: Is the tone consistent/effective? For example, in a scary story, does the tone actually make me feel scared/uneasy? Does the tone fit with the story?

Climax

Ex: Is the climax satisfying? Has the climax been built up well? Does the climax feel as though it makes sense in the context of the rest of the story? Does it come too early or too late?

*This aspect will be +/- and was not meant to sound so suggestive*

Expectations vs. Reality

Ex: Based on what was known about the book, the summary, the title, or the author, was the book satisfying? Did it live up to expectations, or did it fall short? Did it exceed expectations?
