Long Easter Basket Headcanon

Long Easter basket headcanon below the cut. Under the read more for length because yeah this got long. Also, I know it’s super early for Easter stuff but I got sucked into looking a spring items and then this happned. Hank tends to go overboard and a little crazy with baskets. He likes to spoil his loved ones, especially kids for holidays. So these basket examples below is him going ‘simple’ and easy and honestly Hank can (and will) add way more to it.

As much as he likes to spoil the kids, for holidays, he tries to limit edible treats. With Cole being diabetic and YK being an android...it’s just not the best idea. Yk can eat but it’s a bit of a messa pain for people to deal with and it wouldn’t be fair to get him a bunch of candies and treats and not Cole. But Hank still gets them a few things because ofc you just have to have some kind of sweet in an Easter Basket!

Hank keeps the boys baskets as even as he possibly can. And while he tends to go overboard Hank does tend to stick to things the kids will like but also need such as spring/summer outfits as well as things that aren’t necessarily toys such as books. Although he isn’t a parent that’s strict or plans these things out. (such as going like ‘there has to be at least one book and one of this type of thigns’ nope Hank doesn’t do that) His boys (Cole and YK) just like reading and hands-on/creative/educational things over just regular toys.

Each kid has a bunny butt basket in a different color. YK has a pink colored basket, Cole has a teal basket. Each kid gets a big solid chocolate piece (Cole’s is a space shuttle, YK’s is a ballerina), a egg filled with Oreos, blue peeps and a chocolate-covered peep, a new pack of 24 crayons, a pair of headphones (color got solid blue, YK got a unicorn one), a bubble wand (Cole got a blue one, YK got a pink one), a pair of sandals (Cole got solid black, YK got blue) Then YK got a ‘believe it or not’ book (he’s all about facts and random information), a conspiracy theories book (it’s for adults but Hank feels like it’s appropriate enough and YK loves stuff like conspiracies and mysteries and all that), a purple tutu (he loved skirts and tutus and the one he got for Christmas went missing..might as well get him a new one), a t-shirt with sharks on it (he loves aquatic life). An easter themed coloring book, a super squishy plush that’s a pink kitty, and a fashion design coloring kit.

Then Cole got a book about space (he loves anything space), a teenage body book for preteens (he’s getting to that again and honestly, is very curious and interested about the human body and puberty so might as well toss it to him), a blue striped shirt, a green shirt with t-rex’s on it, a blank sketch pad (he says he’s too old for plain coloring books but still loves to draw and doodle), a super squishy plush that’s a blue fox, and a superhero comic design kit.

Other things Hank didn’t get in the baskets for now but may inculde because he just can’t help himself is pretzels, rice krispies treats, an unbrella, cheese puffs (in a carrot shaped bag), shorts for the coming warm weather, swimsuits for again the comming nice weather, and rain boots for fun splashing in puddles. As well as maybe a pair of new shoes to go with the sandels and a nicer button up shirt and smart bottoms. (they go though clothes a lot between growing kids, stains, rips and tears, ect) basically anything you can thing of that a kid might like,need, can play with, ect.

The kids will also have one or two big shared gifts such as a playtent or some backyard activity.They also get a special one on one outing with just dad or a special family outting. They get to pick if it’s just the and Hank or the whole family.

Hank gifted Connor a small basket too but what goodies he got will have to wait because Connors on dash might be treated to a surprise ask or two or tagged post with the goodies Hank got them. RK900s might want to watch out as well lol
