Your request was not too long at all and I really enjoy long requests in general! ;) Anyways, as a warning I have been around very few babies in my life besides in passing, much less responsible for one, so I hope this is all accurate to real baby behavior! As a side note I’d like to thank you all for getting me to 100 followers! This probably deserves it’s own post but I just want to say that I’m so happy so many people enjoy what I write! I would love to do some sort of special or unique fic to come rate, so please send me any and all requests! :)

“So…that’s your baby?” Steve peered curiously at the little human in Johnny’s arms. He chuckled a little, “Well, it’s more Y/ baby. She did all the work- I just made a deposit at the bank.” It was a slow day on set, so you and your husband decided to bring in your new baby to meet the guys. You didn’t really know what to expect, but you were pleasantly surprised as your son reached out a little hand to Steve and his eyes went wide. It was no mystery that he hated babies in general, on account of their propensity for being doorstops that shit and cried, but for some reason this was different. Johnny noticed his reaction and cracked a smile, “If you want, you could hold’em.”

He nodded but didn’t really seem to know what to do after Johnny handed him over, just sort of holding your baby like this precious, fragile thing in his arms. It was sweet, in a way. While he was busy marveling, a production assistant came up and tapped Johnny on the shoulder, whispering something in his ear before trying to hurriedly usher him and you away to something or other that needed to be attended to on set. Johnny quickly turned to Steve as he walked away, “Hey, we’ll be back in five! Think y’could watch him?” There really wasn’t any way he could say no. “Uh, sure, I guess…?” Of course, that was the exact moment your son pooed all over him.

Maybe he wasn’t wrong about babies being doorstops that shat. Though he still looked calm, Steve’s eyes had a trace of panic behind them as he nervously looked around for someone on set to hand your son off to while he went to the bathroom to clean the stuff dripping off of his arm. The first person he found was maybe the only worse person to give a baby to- Ryan. He handed off that drooling little bundle of joy to him in the blink of an eye as he rushed away, “Hey, dude- just hold onto this for a sec.”

He knew even less what to do with the thing, holding the baby at an arm’s length while he kicked his little legs and giggled. Ryan eyed it with suspicion, unsure of what to do next. Steve was long gone, and he didn’t know when he’d be back, so in a moment of quick thinking, he did the only rational thing- handing it off to someone else. Effectively, this baby was being passed around like a fat little babbling football.

Johnny squinted, eyeing him up and down with suspicion at the absence of your son, “Steve, where’s the kid?” He dried the water that dripped off of his recently washed hands on his camo shorts. He sighed and said like there was nothing wrong with it, “I gave him to Ry ‘cause he shat all over me.” Of all people to trust with your baby, you just had to pick Steve-O. You rubbed the space between your eyebrows in frustration, “It’s a baby. It’s gonna shit!”

And so the wild goose chase began. The two of you eventually found the man you were looking for leaning against the side of one of the makeup trailers, beer in hand. “Ryan! Where the hell’s my kid?” Johnny was getting exasperated at this point, as were you. Ryan shrugged nonchalantly, “Gave it to some production assistant lady- Y’know, the one with the hair.” You fell slack jawed and started to wonder if any of these men had been around a child before, much less responsible for one. He sipped his beer “What? It had ‘poopies’. I don’t do ‘poopies’.” Blinking in disbelief, you furrowed your brow, “Okay- okay. Do you have any idea where the woman is?” “Yeah! She’s here all the time- see her every day.” Really narrows it down. Frustrated, you turned to Johnny, “I can’t believe we trusted him with your idiot friends!- no offense, Ryan.” Ever unconcerned, he shrugged, “Hey, none taken.”

After a few panic-inducing minutes of rushing about on set and stumbling into dressing rooms people may or may not have been in (sorry, Bam), you eventually tracked down the aforementioned production assistant. It was Johnny actually who found her, tucked away in some quiet room on set with your son (who had a miraculously clean diaper)- and someone else. In all your time as a mother, you never saw a baby more captivated with anyone than he was with Chris, pawing at his long hair with tiny hands and giggling while he made silly noises to entertain him. “Pbbtt! Goo goo goo! A- pbbtt!”

Johnny cracked a smile and waved you over to look at the sight. God, it was heartwarming. Relieved, you softly awed and he wrapped an arm around you, pulling you close, “Well, I do think we’ve found our new babysitter.”

You got to Mike's house an hour earlier, just like he asked. When he opened the door, you noticed that his hair was damp and his face was clean-shaven. He also had a shirt on that you had never seen him wear before. it was a short sleeve black t-shirt, and it looked nice on him, considering he only seemed to wear sweatshirts. Ok, "nice" was an understatement. Mike looked VERY attractive, and the muscles bulging out from the tight sleeves was enough to make you blush.

"Hey," he said nervously as you walked in.

"Hi!" you responded as you set your things down, and then looked back up at him, expectantly.

"Did you, uh, finish all your classes alright?" he asked, scratching the back of his head. It confused you, but then you remembered that earlier in the morning, in Abby's fort, you mentioned that you had some classes that day.

"Oh! Uh, yeah! Thanks for asking," you replied. The silence was tense, but in a good way. You knew he liked you; but did he know you liked him?

"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" you ask as the two of you make your way to the kitchen table. As you take a seat, he moves a chair directly next to you, and nervously clears his throat as he sits down. Your heart pounds.

"I just wanted to say that....I am so, so grateful for you." he pauses, looks at you with those deep brown eyes, and smiles. "I'm sorry for the way i was last night. I was just stressed with Abby and...and...y'know." He looks away, tears in his eyes, and continues.

"Anyways, I, uh, saw you in Abby's fort this morning and it just...it made me really happy. Thank you for being there for her, and for being the..." he hesitates, as if deciding what to say next. His next words are quiet and hoarse. "...for being the guardian that I can't be."

It felt like a punch to the gut.

He didnt feel good enough. He didnt feel like a good brother, a good son, a good parental figure for his sister.

You suddenly felt compelled to make him see that this wasnt true.

"Mike," you say intensely, gently touching his hand. He looks up at you with his eyebrows raised. "You... are doing EVERYTHING that you can for Abby, and you are doing amazing. She loves you so much, and she knows how hard youre trying."

You pause, trying to decide if you should say the next words on your mind.

You plunge ahead.

"And I know how hard you're trying, too. And it just makes me love you all the more." You lean forward, planting a kiss on his cheek. As you pull back, he looks at you, stunned, his cheeks flushed. Then, a grin. He smiles so wide that youre not even sure youre looking at Mike Schmidt anymore. He doesn't kiss you back- not yet, at least- but that look in his eyes, the look that he finally believes he IS doing enough, that HE is enough, is worth even more. ✨

Hi, anom from recently who binge-read most of IEU:SIR. I finally read the No Capes AU. Thank you for putting so much fluff before the death and making the death relatively short in comparison.

I love how Dick still had no clue about the vitiligo. It's so funny.

Bruce's speech even made me teary-eyes. But more than that, the hug. That simple line "Whole. Jason felt whole"

And how AU!Dick sees Robin has something to share with them, when Jason just found out the origin of the name Robin.

I took a look at the next chapter and O.O WOW how many words are those? I don't think I can read all that in a single day. Heck, not even in two day.

But yes, I love No Capes AU and really wholesome chapter

Thank you so muchh for reading!!! I know it's a heavy story, and honestly, it's getting hard writing death after death after death, so I can't even imagine reading it. (I will a couple months after finishing writing the fic and I come back to read my own work with fresh eyes.)

It's just a funny little gag. Like Dick is super smart and competent, but "Jason? White streak? Must be from Magic."

I knew this chapter was going to HIT when I started crying while writing the speech. Cus I literally haven't cried over my own writing since.... I think the Toddler Jason chapter, because writing that completely desensitized me.

And Jason feeling like he finally has a support system is where I was getting to this entire fic. It's a subplot lmao.

I'd like to think that since No Capes AU Dick (and Bruce) probably went to therapy, instead of punching bad guys at night, and he's basically been Cass's older brother since he was 10, he would be more open to the whole family and siblings idea. And I don't think Normal Dick ever had a problem with sharing Robin, it wasn't Bruce's to give away, and that's why he was somewhat upset. But it was never with Jason.

The four AUs I had vividly in mind since the beginning were the Toddler AU, the No Capes AU, the AU you're currently reading, and the Last AU which I'm not gonna say anything about just yet because I still haven't started writing it

The chapter "A Better Ressurection: Part one" Is basically a third of the word count. It's 23,000 (give or take) out of 60,000 and that's not even the entire AU 😭😭😭😭. It's super long, because they're in that universe for much longer than they are for most of the other ones, and there's just a lot of info I need to stuff in there and space out just so that it isn't rushed and the foreshadowing doesn't feel glaringly obvious (it still is kinda obvious tho lmao) Lowkey, I've been hinting at this AU since the first chapter, but I barely remembered that I did that, so...

I loved the no Capes AU too. It was like the other married Talia and Bruce AU but even more family vibes.

✨Behind the scenes ✨

‘Summer Love’ series masterlist

alright so i decided to release the behind the scenes early since i hardly got anything for the q&a event lol

so without further ado here are a bunch of cut dialogue concepts and how scenes were originally going to go✨ as well as some other cool things:

from part 1, breakfast reveal scene:

“honestly shocking the Directors didn't catch wind of anything." Well that's not good but it can't be that bad?

it very much was that bad. she not only lied about small things like her birthday, how many siblings she had and about her ethnicity. but she also lied and spread rumors around about several of the other girls at camp that were pretty damaging. one of the lesser rumors was about a girl she said was a slut who slept around with all of the guys on camp.“

this was originally how Jasmine’s backstory was supposed to go, i had based her off the guy my bestie fake dated (which is what inspired this whole fic i’ll go into details later)

and this was some of the stuff he did which was fucked up but not messed up enough for me lol i wanted Jasmine to be like as close to a real life villian as possible (hence the outing of a older camper)

from part 2, opening scene:

“you drop the act when you turn to close the door behind you smiling brightly at her and sharing one last laugh. Unfortunately for you the moment is soured when you physically bump into someone else.

"oh my gosh i'm so sorry i-" you cut yourself off when you look up and see who it is. you and padme were often so much in your own world that it was easy to forget there were three of you assigned to the cabin, said third member was giving you the death glare.

if looks could kill you were sure you'd be slaughtered on the ground right now. "sorry" you push out, even though you hated Jasmine it's not like you lost your manners. she doesn't say anything, just snarls and steps back slightly.

there's a silence before she finally says something "are you going to get out of the way or what" you swallow and step past her. she doesn't spare you another glance as she walks into the room. anger burns under your skin but you persevere, pushing it down and letting it fizzle out before continuing your original mission of showering for the day.”

i ended up scrapping this whole part of the scene, it just felt unnecessary to add in my mind; especially when i realized as much as i wanted jasmine to have a bigger role in the fic i didn’t want her to be a antagonist for the reader. at least not in the way this would of solidified her, after all i wanted this to be more fluff than angst lol.

from part 2, the favorite camper scene:

“Anakin scoffs at Ben's answer. "forget that, she's also the coolest camper there is. my first year with her in my group she helped me sneak a bunch of " he cuts himself off only because he spots Windu walking past you guys.

he clears his throat once Windu is far enough away. "we broke into the Kitchen after hours and stole a whole case of pudding cups. snuck them into our cabin and hid it. the Kitchen staff was so mad and confused the next day. Ahsoka and I played innocent and helped ourselves to as many pudding cups as we wanted till we ran out" Anakin snickered.”

this was going to be what Anakin had said to answer readers question about Ahsoka being his favorite camper, i scrapped it because it felt lame 😭 and also seem more like something between two campers rather than a camper and a counselor. which is why our poor curly blonde boy doesn’t get to speak at the end of the scene 👩‍🦯👩‍🦯

part 3, late night walking scene:

“"hey me and Ben live together too, we got an apartment just a few months ago" you hold your shoes and socks in your hand as you walk in the shallow water, a small content smile on your face.

"you know, when i was talking to Honey about you guys and she saw a photo of Ben; she found him super cute. even wanted to reach out to him but realized it'd probably be to weird"”

so as you can tell i had originally planned on Ani and Ben loving together like Honey and Reader do; i decided against it when i thought the parallels between the four of them would be too similar

also wanted to expose Honey’s interest in Ben sooner with the intentions of Ben going into meeting her knowing she liked him, but decided against it the end. which worked out since we got that cute scene i wrote with Ben being flustered meeting her 🤭

part 3, possible bonus end scene dialogue:

“"oh my anxiety ridden, true crime obsessed bestie, how i've missed you."”

welp it’s pretty obvious i didn’t get far with this one 😀 so initially i had planned on including a bonus scene where Reader and Honey finally reunite after reader gets home and this was going to be her greeting dialogue to Honey.

scrapped it in favor of the bonus scene with Honey meeting everyone✨

so i’m not sure if anyone picked these up but i did make a few references at the end of the series 😋😋 so ima point them out just so it gets the attention it deserves✨

so to start us off the first reference made is a hamilton one for us theater girlies 💪💪:

“whoever said in the eye of a hurricane there is quiet for just a moment was a liar- or you'd yet to reach that brief moment of respite.”

fun fact this wasn’t even the original reference, initially it had been a lot more direct. but it honestly felt out of place which is why i changed it- here’s the original, you’ll see what i mean

“mess as you move to lay on your stomach, opening your phone to text Honey. when Lin Manuel Miranda said in the eye of a hurricane there was quiet for just a moment he wasn't kidding”

out of place in the sense readers mind was very much not quiet yet 😭 sis was still going through it

anyway the next reference is a Julie and the phantoms reference 🤭:

“he holds his hand out and you feel your heart hammer in your chest as you take it without hesitation. and when he intertwines his fingers with yours you think you may just faint. this was different, not a sole around to see you two and yet here you both were.

"this is an interesting little relationship you and i have" he jokes and you can't help but giggle. he swings your hands beside you both as you guys walk. bright smiles that could outshine the sun on your faces. an interesting little relationship indeed.”

guess what, i’ve never seen Julie and the Phantom’s 😗 so why may you ask did i think to use this? easy it twasnt me 😌 it was Bestie @everydaydreamer

so everyone give a round of applause and thank yous for this scene to Ren 🥰

next up we have a harry potter reference (no i do not support JKR but i did grow up with the movies and have love for them im sorry 😭):

“one that you mutually had acknowledged last night without actually discussing it. "mooorning" Ben greets you with a mischievous glint in his eyes as you sit beside Anakin. taking a long dramatic sip of his water before sending you both a wink. Anakin wasn't paying much attention as usual.”

it felt to perfect not to include!! i can so see Ben doing this the same way George did to Ginny and Harry✨

and lastly, completely unintentionally might i add (thanks to my bestie @munsondjarin for pointing out this accidental parallel) we’ve got a ROTS reference💃:

“"you know when i was younger, my mom would take me and my stepbrother camping with Ben's family all the time." he shifted you in his hold as he extended his own roasting stick over the fire, carefully twisting it as he roasted his marshmallows. "and i still remember the first time i was finally allowed to roast my own marshmallows. i burnt them to a crisp"

"how'd you manage to do that?" you laugh and he smiles against the back of your head, continuing to twist the stick in his hand. you follow his lead twisting your own as he spoke again.

"well for starters i was like 9 and ornery." his voice was low, it rumbled in chest and against your back. "and i was so focused on trying to mess with Ben that i forgot i was even holding a marshmallow over the fire to begin with. the worse part was they all saw the marshmallow on fire and didn't say anything! not even my own mother" you bite back a laugh, poorly as he can very much tell you’re laughing at him.

"my first betrayal- she'd said it was the natural consequence for messing with Ben. she was right of course but i still got upset and threw a fit" you mumble a quiet 'bratty' under your breath and he gently pinches your side making you giggle.“

i think it’s safe to say we all know what specific scene this reminds us of 👀

next i have just some fun details to share💋

when coming up with the campers for Naboo cabin i also came up with names for all three of the main cabins mentioned✨

i even pre assigned which counselor was assigned to each camper.

unassigned campers were for the other two conselours in Rex’s cabin who never get named 😗

Next fun detail to share is actually some messages between me and my bestie that are cross referenced in the fic 😭

Only Stranger Things… nothing else has grabbed my attention quite the way s4 did.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I do! I’m absolutely tickled every time somebody likes something I wrote enough that they take the time to leave me a comment about it. I’ve even made a few friends that way!

6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Probably Into the Shining Sun? Even then, it’s angst with a very hopeful note to it. There’s enough angst in my real life; I like everything in my fics to turn out okay.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

So far, With a Little Help, because it ended with Eddie and Chrissy’s wedding!

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Thankfully, I haven’t. I honestly think it will break my heart if it ever happens. I stumbled completely by accident across a post here on tumblr hating on GreatMage and I literally cried about that for two days. (Shameful!)

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Nope, I live firmly in the fluff zone. All of my fics are rated a very mild T.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Haven’t tried one yet, but maybe someday, if I can think of a good idea!

Nope.

Not yet, but @pearlypairings and I have kicked around a few fun ideas and someday we are going to make Clarkelley happen!

This is a nearly impossible question.

I’ve only got two WIPs and they’re both almost done, so— none!

Omg, I don’t even know, honestly. Umm… I guess building friendships and relationships between characters?

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Anything outside of my comfort zone. I have a tiny little box I tend to stay in, and refuse to even try branching out.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

With the help of Google Translate, I’ve scattered some bits of Welsh dialogue here and there throughout Next Time I Fall. Apparently I got most of it wrong. So I don’t think I’ll try any other languages unless I’m actually familiar with them!

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Probably X-Files? And then there was that random embarrassing NSYNC stuff… we won’t talk about that. Those were all just scribbled in old journals, though. I never actually posted anything publicly until I found Ao3 last year.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

I think each one is my favorite while I’m working on it! But I think I have to say Next Time I Fall, because the response to it was so much more than I expected, and people’s engagement with and investment in the story has given me so much joy.

A/n- This is the first time I’m posting a fan fic like… ever. I’ve done plenty of writing in the past just never posted anything so plz have some grace on me 🙏. For this the person who would be y/n is named Luna bcs I refuse to write y/n fics, so you can pretend Luna is you 🤗Feedback is also completely welcome! Just be nice don’t straight up say it sucked 😭. But if you want to give me some tips on how to make my writing better it’s very welcome! Anyway this is short and I hope you enjoy :)

I could still feel Simons soft lips travel my body. The way the softness of them would suck on my skin. The wetness of them against my thighs. All of it was over now, but I could still feel him. His hands roaming my body, his sweaty skin against mine. It was all something that wouldn’t leave my mind because, how could I forget?

I lay in bed, still naked while Simon takes a shower in our shared bathroom. The silk of the sheets sticked to my sweaty skin as I continue to think of the events that just took place. Just the thought of it all made me horny again, if that was even possible. I mean damn, seven or so rounds later and I’m still not fully satisfied? He sure was, that’s why he stopped, he also thought I couldn’t handle anymore, and sure he was probably right, but I always craved more.

Simons figure came around the corner from the bathroom. He only wore his boxers, so his chest was on display for me to admire. His body glisten with fresh warm water from his shower. His mask was off as well, his blonde hair was wet and dripped water on the carpet.

“Luna? You awake?” His voice was soft and gentle.

I hummed in response then sat up. “Yeah? Why?” I spoke in the same gentle tone he did.

“I ran you a bath, I used lavender, that’s the one that helps you relax right?” It was so cute when he tried remembering the things I did for self care. He always make sure to take care of me rather than himself after we had fun. It made me love him even more.

“Oh you didn’t have to-“ he immediately cut me off by scooping me in his arms and carrying me to the bathroom. He gently placed my body in the warm water. The room was dimly lit by some candles. Simon then took a seat on the ground next to the tub and helped wash off my body. His hands felt rough, but his touch was gentle and loving.

“Are you ok?” The same question he asked anytime we did stuff with each other. He was the most aggressive guy in bed, but the second he was done he was gentle, caring, it was like a switch he could turn on and off so easily.

“Mhm, I’m just fine.” I looked into his blue eyes, he looked back with love and care.

“I wasn’t too rough? I always get scared I might hurt you…”

“You were just fine dear, you might have left a bruise or two on my hips but… I like that.” I smile at him gently.

He brought his hand up to my hair and started getting it wet so he could rub shampoo in it. “Ok, just tell me if I ever do too much.” Once his hand started scrubbing the shampoo in I shut my eyes and relaxed against his touch. The water was still warm, the air smelt relaxing, and the hands in my hair were loving.

Once I got fully washed off Simon helped me out of the tub then wrapped me with a soft clean towel. It was still hard for me to walk so he scooped me up again and carried me to the bed.

“Pink or blue?” He looked down at me sitting on the edge of the bed.

“What?”

“Your pjs, you want the pink or blue ones?”

“Oh I can get them, you don’t have-“

“Pink it is.” He cut me off again then pulled out my pink silk night gown. He then pulled out a pair of white laced panties. He took both and gown and underwear and helped slip the two on my body. His touch still soft and gentle.

Once I was dressed he climbed into bed with me and pulled me to his chest. His hands played through my wet hair untangling it gently.

“I love you.” He whispered to me as I snuggled in deeper to his skin.

“I love you too.” Then just like that, we both were asleep peacefully in each other’s arms.

everything about this fic was so abundant in sickfic and comfort it’s insane. Cynos disposition this time around was so delightfully new!!! I mean he clearly felt terrible. Just, wretched, him describing feeling like he’s on a *boat* AFTER having already thrown up?? That’s some serious sick tummy stuff right there, and it just seemed like it was. Not. Budging. I ADORE how unusually emotional Cyno was 🥺🥺🥺🥺and I won’t say what but the reveal as to why was just absolutely the most precious thing 😭

all the little details, the super snuggly Cyno, the rainy day, his weepy eyes, and the slowly worsening nausea. Tighnaris smart and gentle attempts to help and his just overflowing caregiver energy??? The green robe 😭😭😭THE LITTLE FOX PLUSHY???!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHH also also also Cyno finally breaking (and finally puking even tho it didn’t seem to help him at all poor thing) was just chefs kiss x1000 I LOVE.

uhg just so indulgent and cozy I can’t- I am re reading this until I can no longer look at my screen damn it. 😤 and you best believe I gotta draw stuff from this. I mean PLEASE Cyno- it’s one thing to be sick but to be that sick with out rest and also just so sad 😭.

I really went hard on poor Cyno here 🥺 I wanted to just capture him feeling really really bad, like he's just feeling way too poorly to have any of his walls up. His stomach was just really sick and not planning on feeling better anytime soon. (Not gonna lie my brain ran away with this, I was thinking "He's really sick, what if he's really really sick, what he keeps going downhill and this leads to an ER visit...." I'm not sure if I'll actually write that as a follow up because part of me just wants to keep this soft and cozy, but part of me is definitely tempted to dig deep into the angst.)

It wasn't even originally my intention to have Cyno be sad outside of feeling sick and miserable, but he just. He decided he was going to be sad. So I took it and ran with it and made it a plot point! He was just really feeling like the world was against him by the end of it, somebody hug him 🥺

Don't get me started on how much fun I had just making this COZY! I was having so much fun with that. I just, I'm in love with the mental image of sickly Cyno curled up in this dressing gown that's one, just way too big on him (because an oversized robe is a comfy one, Nari probably deliberately bought a slightly big one) and two, obnoxiously bright green and with a flower pattern, like it's so visibly Tighnari's and not Cyno's but that makes it all the more precious. And of course the fox plushy makes a return!! It's an official character now

mainly skyrim! it's my most beloved, my bread and butter. however i recently also wrote for one piece, dragon age, spiderverse, and some older stuff for jojo's and star trek!

UGH i wish i could but i don't often do REALLY angsty endings. so this would probably have to be dragonmark, since it ends with tharya and miraak quite estranged from one another and quite a frosty exchange of dialogue, as well as setting up for the next fic (which ends a teensy bit angsty as well, but not really)

possible runnerup to this is from the new world with love, since it ends rather ambiguously on what happens next.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

easily revenant. it's a rollercoaster of a fic, approx 40 chapters iirc, but ends with the thing i set out to do when i initially started writing the first & last series :3

NO, but i have gotten bot comments! i'll take it as a mark of fame 💅 lmao (jk i have no allusions of grandeur)

YES. YES. YES. i'm probably a boring smut writer bc i kinda just write tharya and miraak over and over and over and over and over. but i do enjoy experimenting with them!

not really - though i did write a dragon break fic once and asked a few other writer friends to lend me their characters for it.

god....would it make sense to say even though i write, i'm not very active in fandoms? i've never really considered myself well and truly a PART of a fandom (aside from skyrim), just someone who likes to orbit the fandom and extract ideas from the source content. so i don't have many fandom/canon ships i like. can i say my own characters instead??? if so. my ldb/miraak 10000000%

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

hmm....well, it was arms of chaos before i gave up and deleted it. i have two longstanding WIPs (jojo fic and miguel fic) but i'm in love with their content and ideas, so i do have full intentions to finish them both! might just take a while

16. What are your writing strengths?

i would say putting emotion and description into my work. i LOVE trying to perfectly capture emotions as i feel them, even if that sometimes means the way they get written can be unorthodox. and, ofc, im obsessed with describing stuff all. the. time.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

description is a double edged sword LMAO😭 sometimes (most times) i go way too overboard or in depth. i also have a hard time writing kids 💀 and am not the best at writing normal fluff, i always need some kind of emotion or drama or problem/underlying plot to latch onto. i really wish i was, bc then i could write the cyrodiil vacation fic i've been dreaming of for two years

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

supporter! i do it occasionally with miraak and tharya. the original shōgun miniseries from i think the 80s is what first showed me that not all dialogue needs to be understood by the audience - in fact, it can be a powerful plot device when it isn't. so i'm a big fan of untranslated dialogue (in moderation) when it serves a purpose. otherwise i just denote the dialogue is in a different language after writing it in english.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

god....probably transformers (i've gotten over that shame and am now in love w transformers again)

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

i often say revenant because it is in a way my crowning glory. but it's also stuck in my old style of writing (which is not bad, just less matured imo, and more flighty). but revenant is probably my fav ever content for a fic, it's something i wanted to write for like 4yrs before i did - from the new world with love is the only fic currently completed in my newer, aged wine style, and i really enjoy that one as well!

((but my coming soon fic is probably gonna take the cake whenever it drops))
