miru. omg. can't even believe im writing this lol but I was a huge onceling back in like 2013. I got back on Tumblr in the late 2010s but i was totally under the impression that the fandom had shrunk massively. today out of curiosity I looked it up and found a lot of onceler fanart and stuff (particularly truffula flu related) that was made relatively recently??!!! ofc I know the fandom has always been here but it seems just wayyyy more active than a few years ago. am I going crazy or was there some kind of onceler resurgence in 2023 lol

There was especially a resurgence in 2023 though, I think partially because the lorax movie was trending on tiktok thanks to that Let It Grow dance meme. Anyway, glad you're having a blast seeing all the new stuff xD

omg this game is SO cute🥺 some of my very happiest memories have to be when I went on a trip during my study abroad with my bff and 3 other girls from our school that we barely knew. we were kinda just a ragtag team of randoms who wanted to travel in a chill and fun group, but after a week of swimming in historic baths, late night dance parties, getting locked out of our airbnbs, hiking all over different cities, eating AMAZING food, buying the wrong train tickets, laughing and making silly videos and coming up with hilarious ideas the whole way, and many other absolute shenanigans in THREE different countries…. it’s been like 2+ years since that trip and they’re all still my best friends ❤️🥰 p.s. ❤️❤️❤️I hope this made you happy to read!! You are amazing and I’m sorry it’s been a tough day but we all love you and are here for you!!❤️

omg. the new Daichi post. reminded me so much of this girl in one of my creative writing workshops in college who ALSO wrote a story where the main character cut her finger and wondered about love???? um??? cutting your finger!!! can be something so personal!!!??!?! omg I love it so much

cutting one's own finger open is the modern person's reckoning with their own mortality, you know? it's also a nice metaphor for loss of control or focus, a change from what's normal, etc. etc. etc. there are just so many narrative possibilities with cooking and food, man, i'm so here for it.
