I still can't get Peach's backstory out of my head...
The movie seems to hint that her past is going to be revealed some day....but just not in this movie.
Peach even says that she doesn't even know where she came from, and then Mario chimes in with
"Maybe you're from my world!"
And then Peach replies "There's a whole universe out there...."
Which seems to imply that Peach is actually from another world entirely, and might be hinting at how they are going to handle other locations from the Mario games.
- - -
Honestly, this just makes me confused over how they are going to handle the other human Mario characters.
How are they going to explain Rosalina's origins? Are Wario and Waluigi from Brooklyn too? And most importantly...
What does this mean for Daisy? Who, may I remind, is also a princess. With her own kingdom.
Is Sarasaland in the Mushroom World, or on Earth?
Honestly...I'm so confused.
#like...that was such a bizzare lore dump#I've been wracking my brains and i can't figure out how they are going to explain daisy#it seems so empty#HOW???#this is legit the only question I have after seeing the movie#super mario#mario#luigi#princess peach#princess daisy#wario#waluigi#rosalina#the super mario bros movie#super mario movie#mario movie#baby peach#the super mario bros movie spoilers#super mario movie spoilers#mario movie spoilers#unofficial mario movie stuff#mario movie sequel#mario movie 2023

As much as I can sing praises of Dungeon Meshi's characters, Kon should have won this in a landslide??? She is literally the most autistic coded character i have ever fucking seen and 'having a specific knowledge branch & explaining facts unsolicited' is not the be all end all of autistic spectrum traits, I know everyone wants to feel special for 'having a hyperfixation' or whatever they think is autism can ONLY be characterized by, but a lot of you manage to show your whole ass when you can't accept the weirder and 'socially inappropriate' side of behaviors that fall under the spectrum
Autistic Anime Girls Group 2 Match 31
Marcille -
"Marcille spent years studying magic nonstop and explains things in big detail sometimes."
Kon -
"It's been a while since I watched the show, but I just remember thinking the whole time 'wow, this girl is autistic as fuck.' The main male MC definitely is too. Solidarity. En knee way from what I do remember she's a sweet, but not-so-trusting kitsune girl just looking for people who will accept her, a place to belong, if you will. She didn't get a lot of support in her upbringing and thus her social skills aren't great, but the found family she acquires over the course of the show help her in opening up and seeing she's more than just a tool for others."
#tl;dr kon wins#you all should have voted Kon tbh#Marcille is literally supposed to be 'the normal one'#like in DM lore she is just an elf#she's not even like a super creative elf sub genre or fresh as hell take on fantasy race#... well actually she's only HALF ELF but oopsie daisy spoiler alert

Finished TMA, I know I rarely post but here's a WIP </3
Also here's my ratings and some thoughts I had...
💥SPOILERS💥
S1 8/10
Some of the best statements, slow start and wish we had more time with Sasha and Tim bc of how much we get later on, amazing finale episodes and the second half really picks up by the end I was captivated.
S2 9/10
Amazing starting to learn more lore, loved paranoid Jon and all the Martin stuff we get, the tunnel stuff was actually terrifying and this season really had a great motif with the supplementals idk wether to call this season one of the scariest or funniest. Also Daisy Basira and Melanie slowly becoming more relevant is amazing I love them so much! Also the pay off with Not!Sasha attacking Jon and the Elias reveal is amazing!
S3 10/10
Probably my favorite because of how many gems you get, Episode 100 being hilarious, Michael's backstory, learning Martin and Tim's reasons for getting the job, Tim's connection to the Stranger who has been built up as one of my favorite villians and being personified through Nikola AAHAHH I love this season sm. MY GIRL MELANIE getting so much more time, OMG and the trips Jon goes on to discover more about his connection to the Eye and all the different avatars! Ugh I could gush about this season for hours. The perfect mix of spooky and lore and funny with a tragic ending.
S4 9/10
Still amazing but is docked a point because of how much less Martin and Melanie time you get, also I've never been a fan of the coma trope and was getting skeptical at the beginning but it pays off alot, I love how much Daisy and Basira get here and how much Jon really changes, loosing Tim and essentially loosing Martin is really interesting for his charcter growth and this is the season you can really feel it and SEE it and it also sets up his hero complex he gets for next season, loosing Sasha and Tim really has an important effect on his character. Also they make it so believable how Jon starts to realize he has feelings for Martin and how much he misses him and all the moments you get of him mourning the friendship they had gotten in s3. It's a lot to explore and as much as I was skeptical at first the pay off with Jon changing sm and THE FINALE!! is really worth it. This season also has my personal favorite Finale of all the seasons.
S5 9.5/10
I won't write too much about s5 because I'm still digesting it bc it's alot, but I loved it! The way Jon and Martin's interactions are so realistic and fun to hear, and the impending doom, that you realize half way though, that one or both of them may die is crushing but great. This season also has more scary statments that didnt affect me as much in s4 more like s2 and 3 again. Also love all the stuff the girlies get, and along with s3 hurting my soul so much this season managed to bring me to tears twice, with Daisy, Jon and Martin RIP </3
Overall I love this series so much and I loved listening to it I might listen to protocol now but I need a small break ugh...

Alright, so we have officially reached over 750 followers on Twitch (thank you all for that), and that means I get to give you all a little lore reveal for Terramortis.
Spoilers for Terramortis below;
Last time I streamed Terramortis, Daisy had a fall, spaced out for a minute, and came back with no memory of where they were and an uncomfortableness with using the name “Daisy” and she/her pronouns. This aspect of Daisy preferred to go by the name “E” and acted very differently then how we’d seen Daisy in the past.
Daisy had been having small lapses in memory as early as the first episode they were in, but this was the first time we saw them fully change mannerisms and demeanor in response to it.
That is because, as many of you correctly guessed, Daisy is canonically a system.
I will not be labeling them as any one specific diagnosis as I am not a medical professional, and Daisy doesn’t canonically have access to one to be able to get that diagnosis anyway. Daisy is based on my personal experiences as a system and while I do have a diagnosis, that isn’t something I want to confine Daisy to.
As much as I would love to be able to make a character that every system would relate to and see themself within, Daisy’s journey of being a system is not going to be the same as everyone else’s. It isn’t even the same as mine. But it is a careful amalgamation of many system’s stories and lived experiences combined with my own and shared with you all through the very small lense of Minecraft RP. I apologize in advance for the lack of representation in certain areas this portrayal will certainly have, and I urge anyone watching to keep in mind that each system is as varied and different and unique as each and every person, so if Daisy’s journey doesn’t match your own that doesn’t make you any less valid. It doesn’t make your experience any less real.
There is such a lack of open, clear, and truthful representation of systems in media. So when I got the opportunity to make a new character with Terramortis, I really wanted to be able to change that. Even if it’s just one character on a silly minecraft smp.
I have not been incredibly open with my diagnosis as system in public spaces, but I think in order to lend credibility and honesty to this portrayal it’s important to be candid with you all about it. I will still be keeping many things about that experience private and I’d prefer if no one draws a large amount of attention to it. But now that I’m out, I just wanna say to other systems out there; you aren’t alone. You aren’t making things up. Your experience is valid.
Thank you 💕

BiAsBuck’s ficrec Fraturdays
Happy weekend everyone! So many loose ends tied up....except *eyes* oh I'm loving the season so far. Back with more fic that I've read and loved this week, with a mix of short one shots and longer stories. As always you can find previous rec lists here. Some light spoilers for the season.
19 October 2024
I did think, let’s go about this slowly by @pelorsdyke is a short and insightful peek into Karen's mindset at the start of hers and Hen's relationship, as she overcomes her own fears of adhering to stereotype and committing too hard and too fast. But she finds a way to balance her heart's wants with her mind's eye, and find a intimacy she can build on along the way.
I didn't know (that it could be good) by @rainbow-nerdss 'Eddie lets himself into Buck's apartment unannounced, and finds him in a compromising position. That should be nothing, just something to laugh about down the line, except afterwards, it's like a switch has flipped, and neither of them can get it out of their minds. The solution? They need to get it out of their systems.' Best friends that secretly hook up and don't question it because it feels good and that's their favourite person and nothing has to change right? trope my beloved. God this fic is absolutely swoonworthy, and I'm still giving it hearteyes for days. Do yourself a favour and read it right now.
please, please, please by @bookinit02 'So, a widower walks into a bar, and he hasn’t been held by someone he loves in years.' A touch starved Eddie starving for Buck's touch in particular! In which Buck subconsciously stops casually touching Eddie after he comes out, and Eddie notices and is not happy about it. Circa S7/S8, they soon set out to resolve the issue. Such a great exploration of a complicated yearning, and then I particularly loved their flirtatious bickering in this fic because it was so very very them and endearing as hell.
kerosene by @roguebuck is almost the flipside...a post 7x06 fic starting from the wedding, in which Buck isn't sure why 'nothing's going to change' unsettles him so much and why he can't get Eddie out of his head...even at the most inopportune times. But sometimes all it takes to make a change is for someone to pour the gas and light a match...and this fic sure does that!
the city is a jungle and i’m a beast by @putanauhere just in time for canon!werewolf Eddie, this is such a brilliant fic that really immersed me in the story, and was so well thought out to make the werewolf lore fit into 911verse smoothly. Eddie and his platoon were bit by a werewolf during his time in the army, and so as long as he's been with the 118 he's been keeping a secret. When a call to a magick shop goes awry, Buck's infodumping on the habits of wolves meets Eddie's reluctance to concede to superstition...but he's mostly desperate to hide. When Buck follows him to his safe house, things soon go awry, and together they must learn to live with the consequences. Perfect spooky season fic, and really emotional as well.
Any Other Way by @cal-daisies-and-briars I have been meaning to read this for weeks and am so glad I finally have! This is a fic where Eddie and Buck's lives take on each other's paths - an unattached and openly gay Eddie going on an aimless teenage wanderlust after his high school girlfriend left suddenly, and Buck signing up to the army to spite his parents. Then one day Eddie runs into Shannon at the grocery store...with a young boy at her side. This is a really wonderful fic about a lifechanging secret and stepping up to parenthood, overcoming fears and letting your guard down. I loved how despite the narrative switcheroo, their motivations remain true to themselves and their family at the core.
the sound of the saw (must be known by the tree) by @absolutelybifurious a fic inspired by the last episode of Grey's Anatomy I ever watched lmao. Eddie blames himself for Chris leaving, but Buck is frustrated that the time has stretched out so long, and is encouraging him to go get him. But Eddie doesn't want to hear it and they part on rocky ground with Eddie boarding a plane to El Paso for some wildfire training. When Buck receives a voicemail, the world shifts from under his feet, and the 118 race to save Eddie. This was passionate and angsty and the love sings off the page.
See you next week, trick or treat!!

You know, the “no death” combat setting might genuinely be the most lore-accurate option, considering that Rook is absolutely
⬇️ Game Informer spoilers ⬇️
an abomination. Every time they die, Solas goes “nope, get back up” and they’re up.
Listen I am still side-eyeing that entire explanation so hard lmao. You’re telling me Mr. Roamer In The Beyond is now trapped in the *checks notes* Beyond? Mr. Didn’t Want A Body? Ok, sure. And I bet the blood ritual that accidentally connected you to Rook’s mind is totally unrelated to all those times someone got whoopsie daisy possessed after doing blood magic.
Also the Lighthouse is bathed in purple light. Almost as if it may, perhaps, be the domain of a powerful pride spirit.
But I’m sure it’s fine, because it’s not like Rook just got done attempting something that’s right at the intersection of wisdom and arrogance. The exact kind of thing that an ancient pride spirit might be tempting them to do.
The funniest part is imagining how pissy he’d get about anyone calling it “possession”. He would 100% be all Imshael level CHOICE SPIRIT about it, like “we’re just talking, you have the freedom to act as you wish”.
#dragon age shitpost#dragon age#dragon age the veilguard#dragon age spoilers#da4 spoilers#da4 speculation#da4 theory#rook dragon age#imshael#solas dragon age#healing magic is back (ominous)#lol maybe the real reason we can’t study blood magic#is because Rook would look up from their books directly to camera#going “hey wait a minute”#and/or every time they try to get ahold of a demon to learn it from#the demon takes one look at them and runs for the hills

It takes exactly two seconds between Impulse looking up at the top of the Secret Keeper and him realizing what he's actually seeing up there to decide he is officially sick and tired of seeing ghosts.
There are seven entire ghosts around the thing today -- a couple appear to be tinkering with the secret delivery mechanisms. Impulse squints at them.
"What are you doing?" he says.
"Trying to figure out how to load more tasks into this thing," one of them replies, kicking one of the blocks with buttons on them. He's got a full beard and some weird green glowing mushrooms poking out of cracks in his face. It's definitely... a look, Impulse will give him that. Very Mycelium Resistance. "But whoever designed it used freakin' command blocks, and you can't even see the randomizer run."
"How many times did your randomizer break again?" one of the other ghosts calls from up on top of the Secret Keeper.
"Never!" the mushroom ghost protests, causing at least two other ghosts to crack up laughing. "It worked completely flawlessly except for user error."
One of the ghosts, someone who appears to have a floating cactus block for a head, snorts. "And programmer error."
"You shut it," the mushroom ghost responds.
"He's not wrong," the more normal-looking brown-haired ghost over by the command blocks says absently, purple eyes clearly focused on trying to trace the wiring back to the actual command blocks.
Impulse just stands there, bewildered -- both because the ghosts are actually talking to him, and also because these are extremely weird ghosts to be talking to who look nothing like anyone he's even vaguely heard of.
"Fine," he says, "you know what, I'll bite. Why are you guys here?"
"Checking in," a ghost sitting on one of the lower rocks says. He's wearing blue and yellow, looks to be a little more transparent than the others. "Y'know, new season and all that?"
Impulse squints at him. "No, I meant, why are you following me?"
"Ohhhh!" The ghost laughs. "Hadn't looked into what you were doing yet, and these guys wanted to see if they could get some of their tasks into the machine, so I just brought everyone along."
"That's not really a good answer," a ghost leaning inside the alcove under the Secret Keeper says. He's got a mask pulled up over his face, though his voice doesn't really sound muffled at all.
"What," the blue and yellow ghost says, "am I supposed to say something like it's because you're one of the people with no hard-and-fast thematic associations to stick to and therefore easier to facilitate a meeting with and freak him out more?"
Impulse squints harder. "Are you guys Watchers?"
The blue-and-yellow ghost snorts. "Hah! That's Martyn's lore, bud, not yours. Nope, nothing to do with the Watchers."
"Aren't you technically--" the ghost in the alcove starts.
"Tsssssshhhhhh," the other ghost replies by way of shushing him aggressively, "spoilers!"
"Alright," the alcove ghost says, spreading his hands in mock defeat, "fine, have it your way. He's right though. Not Watchers."
"Lowercase-w maybe," the brown-haired ghost still inspecting the redstone with the mushroom ghost says, "but otherwise, no."
Impulse is starting to feel like he's wandered into something way above his pay grade.
The alcove ghost snaps his fingers. Impulse notes somewhat absent-mindedly that he has, like, a lot of piercings on one ear. "Hey," he says, "come to think of it, we might be able to help you out with some stuff."
"I swear to God," another ghost says from on top of the Secret Keeper, "if you try to sell another person on your weird coffee god thing again-"
"I wasn't going to!" he responds. "Honest! I was just gonna say, it looks like there's a plains biome here, that means oxeye daisies, that means suspicious stew with regen if you can get a good source of mushrooms."
"Unfortunately," the mushroom ghost says, looking up from where he and the other ghost appear to now be trying to cram books into the ground, "the space for the hearts seems like it just kinda vanishes when people get hit. At least, if I'm not misunderstanding the programming."
"If you're misunderstanding the programming then we're both reading this code wrong," the brown-haired ghost says. "And I'm pretty sure I used something similar here for Dark Path stuff, so probably not?"
"Dang," the alcove ghost says, then tilts his head back towards Impulse. "Maybe make splash poison potions, then? That'll take out a good chunk of someone's health if they can't regen."
"He is green," the cactus-headed ghost says. "Why's he gotta make poison potions right now?"
A shrug in response. "Never hurts to prep early."
The blue-and-yellow ghost leans forward, squinting at him. "Alright," he says, "one of my wisps give you that idea or what?"
Another shrug. "I mean, what if they did?"
"Last time you started listening to his wisps," the brown-haired ghost says, "they told you to try and kill everyone just because I beefed it before the dragon fight."
"It would've worked if you hadn't warned them," the ghost in the alcove replies. "I can't believe you tried to sabotage my attempt at avenging you."
"I can't believe you listened to them in the first place," the blue-and-yellow ghost says. "They're bloodthirsty, they don't really give good advice."
"And I," Impulse says, having inched his way over towards the new task button, "am going to take my task and leave, because you guys are weird."
He hits the button and flips through the taskbook.
"End every sentence said to another player in a question?" he says, squinting down at it.
"You're already doing better than some of us were!" one of the ghosts on top of the Secret Keeper yells down.
"Oh my god, shut up!" the mushroom ghost yells back, and then turns to Impulse. "Hey, by the way, have you considered getting a pet parrot?"
"That's still a bad loophole and you know it," the blue-and-yellow ghost cuts in.
"I heard him just fine," the brown-haired ghost says. "Hey, hang on -- that's one of ours! It worked!"
Impulse decides he's not even going to bother trying to be polite about leaving. He has had entirely enough of these ghosts in particular.
#secret life#secret life smp#impulsesv#gilded hardcore#vikingpilot#this minific brought to you by: gilded is good go watch it#unlike last impulse fic i will not bother with a pretense of it being symbolism. this one is fully because it is funny to me#there's SOME stuff in there if you squint but it doesn't actually have anything to do with impulse#anyway sorting tags time:#yt#txt#solar scraps#solar scrawls#slsmp#gilded#you may have noticed i tagged the blue and yellow ghost. this is because i fear no man. or pronoun stealer for that matter#oh dunk wait i should also tag the others#devonsdesk#thefoolnse#avidmc#and then whimzee and trog are in the background (sorry guys i didn't have the voices down yet)#oh and fun fact about this one. the identity of one of these ghosts is Really Questionable#like just a little bit... it could be him acting weird or it could be something else entirely yknow? something more aware of certain things#but ehhhhhhhhhhhnnnn that's spoilers so who am i to blow up its spot#update josh got a new username so#codeneon

do you have any visuals for daisy that you’d share w the class?🙏 like silly things. like how you’d picture the readers clothing or ANYTHING🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hey, anon!
Quite the interesting question!
Now everything I show below is a rough base for my visuals, readers have the freedom to picture these little details as they wish.
If I had to share, this is roughly how I picture the current outfit of Y/N:
NOTE: The skin color in the sock picture does not portray the canonical skin color of Y/N. The skin color in the story is left undescribed for inclusivity purposes.
I do intend to change the outfit in the second arc as a visual representation of Y/N's character development.
Also, we can't forget our handy dandy Vaseline and cardigan:
Also Bucky, the goodest of bois:
This might come as a spoiler, so WARNING:
Bucky is a mutant hound, a "breed" that is part of the Fallout lore not yet implemented in the TV series.
I'll refrain from adding references to the original characters such as Hank, Mitzie and Monique simply because I do not wish to add photos of real people. It might upset someone, it might be viewed as disrespectful or invasive. If I find a cartoon version of them, I'd gladly add them.
Also our savior - the Lavender perfume:
Technically, this is Violet scented, but I picture the bottle as similar.
Now, regarding Y/N. When speaking of Cooper trying to teach her that this world is not kind and she needs to toughen up to survive, this is what I see and I will never unsee it:
Every time Y/N spouts an idiotic question because surely Cooper has all the answers (the poor man's left speechless and staring at times):
Me after chapter 9:
Alright, I'll wrap it up here.
Thank you for the question! Hopefully, this gives you some insight.
None of the gifs or pictures above are mine!

Ok, so had some very extra thoughts about Mag17 on Tuesday and I have been waiting impatiently to save them
I tried the spoiler line thing but it doesn’t work so gaps..
First of all my first reaction was AARRRGGGHHHH
Ok - Celia waking up again in Oxford? I wonder if that is the point where she and other people slip between worlds (I honestly thought this before I listened to the rest of the episode but fuck me, I was right!)
Umm - Sam? What horror movie was it? Surely not…
Glitches when Celia says she ok…
Magnus Institute statement? Read by Jon/Chester?
Magnus Institute in Oxford?
Subject - catalyst - oh definitely alchemy
Angry person taking statement? Daisy? (Please be Daisy)
What do you mean the receptionist is a large soft man who stumbles over his words? Martin? MARTIN? And bookish bloke who looks like he strokes orchids? That could be Jon…
Oh my god, he’s slipped between worlds - so that could have been that worlds Jon and Martin - and now he is in Protocol’s world - in the Magnus Institute reach out centre…
(So when he said ‘I wonder if the same things happened to them’ means he thinks Jon and Martin has slipped between worlds too?)
So Celia thinks Freddie offered her a ‘slipping between worlds’ story deliberately - suggesting Celia is having problems with slipping between words and Freddie - or Chester - is offering her a casement they think will help.
So - Colin hasn’t been in for weeks but Celia thinks she’s seen him there? Why? Is he sneaking in there?
JMJ error! They’re trying to get out again!
Oh, Alice is trying so hard to get Gwen to open up, to discuss the horrors happening to both of them.
Wait - does Saved Copy also refer to the Jon and Martin the other world being a copy of the Archives Jon and Martin being saved and safe?
Or that the Jon and Martin in the OIAR computers are copies of the Archive Jon and Martin, saved?
That was a very exciting, lore building, back story episode.
But oh - my god, my god, that it was Jon’s voice using someone else’s words to describe Martin - with perhaps the faintest trace of softness - how that pulls at my heartstrings..

Excuse me, did you say Venom TMA AU????
yes!!! it’s been rattling around in my head for a couple of months now, so if u want more in depth lore I’m more than happy to indulge but I’ll give a basic run down! there’s two separate ideas for this. I’ve categorized Eddie (a mixture of the movies and comics versions of him) and Flash based on what they’d be an avatar of and what they’d be a victim of so—
Avatar AU:
Eddie is an avatar of the Corruption, and the Venom symbiote is a manifestation of the Corruption! it starts out as a mould growing in Eddie’s apartment, but eventually its influence gets him and he bonds with them and becomes an avatar! there’s a lot of body horror in it, I basically went ham with adding anything and everything I thought would be cool. he’s basically a Flesh Hive, but instead of worms coming out of the holes in his skin it’s Venom’s goop! also since the corruption deals with obsessive and toxic love, the body horror element of that is Venom ripping Eddie’s ribcage open to curl around his heart >:3 I have a playlist for this AU, so check it out if u want to!
Flash is an avatar of the Slaughter (I know, making the soldier an avatar of the Slaughter how original)! his is a lot more tragic than Eddie’s, since his arc starts with the abuse he suffered as a kid and the fear of his dad’s unexpected violence marking him for the slaughter! then it kind of goes through his life being an avatar (think kind of what Elias pulled from Daisy’s life if you’ve listened to that part — where she’s not fully an avatar but definitely influenced by it). the timeline is a bit warped, I wanted for him to join the army pre- making up with Peter in this AU since war is such a big part of the Slaughter. it ends with him getting his legs amputated like in canon and since he’s unable to continue feeding the slaughter, its influence on him starts to wain. he basically becomes an avatar in recovery, growing weaker but refusing to give into the urges again. him and Peter become friends and he gets a “happy” ending (well, as happy of an ending is anyone in a tma au can hope for)!
Victim AU:
this one does not have as much substance to it, I just thought about what their greatest fear would be and like. I haven’t actually come up with any interesting supernatural ideas for this yet lmao
Eddie would be a victim of the Lonely (he goes off the deep end literally every time the symbiote leaves him or when he thinks they’ve died)
the Venom symbiote would be a victim of the Desolation (literally everyone they love either is “dead” or has died at some point — I’d ignore Flash’s resurrection and the whole Eddie and Dylan being able to come back I think from the current run)
Flash would be a victim of the Web (especially with the addiction themes from s5)
S5 SPOILERS BELOW THE CUT
I’ve also thought about what domain they’d be placed in following the eyepocalypse. literally the definition of putting them in situations because I’ve basically assigned them their own personal hell
Eddie would be placed in the Fog House domain or Martin’s domain
the Venom symbiote would be placed in the Furnace domain
Flash would be put in the Theatre domain. this one is literally a perfect fit for him since what we see of it is a guy being forced into his alcohol addiction over and over again.
#sorry this became a super long response lmaoo#methinks I’m a professional yapper#anyways I hope you enjoyed reading this!!#I do have more for the avatar au if you would like to hear 👀#the magnus archives#venom comics#venom movies#eddie brock#flash thompson#venom symbiote#the corruption#the slaughter

New ep Twomp theory
spoilers for the new episode ofc

Ok, so I'm not sure about how this Daisy, Mr Billis and Mr Plant lore is all connected, but I do have a idea on something else. Something in the news on the TV.
First, it says that humans have been complaining about the Void and that murders have been increasing. This most likely has been caused by Mr. Plant based on his murder spree in "Mr. Plant is Famous"
In fact, Mr. Plant has killed many over the show, and humans are no exception. He even takes joy in it. So that brings us to the last TV scene
"Should The Void Have New Laws?" I believe this question is in place by humans because of how common it is to get killed in the Void (no thanks to Mr. Plant), so I'd imagine that humans would vote yes to new laws in the future and these new laws would involve more serious consequences for murder in the Void, therefore making it harder for Mr. Plant to get rid of anyone that pisses him off and it may bring up serious conflicts in the future. I suppose this would affect Argos as well if anything really bad were to happen.
Anyway that was all probably obvious, but I just really wanted to share my thoughts somewhere lol.

I'm almost through my second rewatch of Oxventure Deadland and I have some thoughts™️
This post has spoilers for the deadlands campain ending! If you want to watch it blind, this is your warning
I have so many thoughts about The Horsemen I need to type them out or I'll explode (also, I don't know anything major about Deadlands lore)
Andy had gone an extra mile with the antagonists and I love that so much. However, he set the bar pretty high with Bellows, and that created unintentionally(?) hilarious jutaxposition with M. T. "ORDERORDERORDER" Boudreax.
• It is fun to see the Horseman of Death turn out to be the most unhinged of the group - it is usually the other way around; also, I'm not sure how much of his behaviour are mechanics of the Hangin' judge, but Boudreaux shows traits that one would stereotypically assign to an avatar of war - tendency to shout instead of talking, resorting to "Screw the rules, I'm in charge" type of reasoning, swearing at the first opportunity to do so, making up rules for the sole purpose of making everyone's life more miserable. That's a chilling contrast with the actual avatar of War, Bellows, being quiet, confident and having a "you will come to me, sooner or later"- adjacent attitude(traits one would stereotyoicslly assign to an avatar of death). I know M. T. Boudreaux is supposed to be at least a little scary, but his arc is in a breather episode spot in the campain plot structure, and combined with his hammy attitude, he ends up as (subjectively) the funniest Horseman.
(Also, the roleplay from everyone else in that episode was hilarious. Somebody on youtube commented that Garnet should've tried gaslighting the judge until his head burst from anger, and the more I think about it, the more I feel like it could actually work - hangin' judges need to be killed ironically in order to die; would giving one an aneurism from anger induced by someone one-upping his nonsense reasoning with nonsense counters count as ironic death?)
• Speaking of Bellows - I'm almost sad he was the first boss of the campain and thus was doomed to go out early; as Jonny Chiodini put it, Bellows is an oily bastard (and that made him an absolute delight to watch). Magnificent Bastard with the capital letters - with the emphasis on Bastard, but still.
Bellows is the most grounded(subjectively) of the Horsemen in this campain - I had doubts he had something supernatural about him until Victoria confirmed he was the Horseman of War in the finale. Bellows and Hildegard are the best at passing as people among The Horsemen - granted, very shitty people, but Daisy lives in the basement of her own business and is missing the top of her skull, and M. T. "ORDERORDERORDER" Boudreaux is, well, M. T. "ORDER IN MA COURT YOU PUNKIN'LILY" Boudreaux. Think about it: the most well-adjusted Horsemen in this Weird West are War, Famine and Conquest (although the last isn't as well-adjusted by choice). That's the Fridge Brilliance of that campain.
I also find it very fascinating that Bellows tries to talk his way out of the end of the tournament going haywire: option A is that he can find a new vessel, as the Horseman of War, but it is a pain in the ass to do that, so that's why he tried to talk Nate out of shooting him; option B is that he cannot find a new vessel(which is kinda confirmed to be true when Silas duels him), and has assimilated enough of human traits to fear dying. Remember, this is an avatar of War. That's some incredibly juicy characterisation for the first ttrpg campaign boss.
• Also, "I lost my ring and is in service to the ring bearer" line in the finale. Bellows is the first bounty to go down, and the later ones are implied to have taken weeks to accomplish; Victoria is all but confirmed to be the ring bearer. I'm willing to bet all four of my wisdom teeth at once that Victoria went to talk to Bellows(and possibly other Horsemen) via that thing as soon as the main cast was out of her sight and earshot. I'm reasonably sure she had known of the "i lost my ring and is in service to the ring bearer" thing as one of the Horsemen, and this is her first chance to talk to someone she viewed as family and then betrayed her in a long while. Just. Victoria chewing out Bellows in whatever pocket dimension that functions as an afterlife for a Horseman that lost their ring. (Also the implications of Bellows maybe picking more human-like traits the longer he posed as a human or a Harrowed is just *screams* amazing. Andy you devious Marshall I wish you the absolute best. Your NPC's gave me brainrot please keep it up).
• Another Horsemen thought - what came first? Had they all(except Victoria)decided to defy the divine plan for them and creates a mortal personas for themselves, or had creating their (mostly) mortal avatars given them ideas above their role? Because the only concrete thing we know is that they had disagreed with Conquest and sealed away her powers. They clearly made up their mind before taking Conquest down, but the rest is fuzzy at best. Had they went their separate ways completely after taking Conquest down, or had they all met up after before deciding to split so no one can take them all down at once and unseal Conquest's powers? Because the mental image of those four coming up with ideas on how to pass for humans (or undead) is both hilarious and terrifying.
• Next on the bounty list, Daisy DuCrow. Oh my god, she would've had her pick of victims in the Weird West even before she came up with the Hobb's End sanatorium. I got very strong Linda Hazard vibes until it was specified that she spent most of the time in her office. She has a very clear "malicious caretaker/doctor" vibe to her based off Victoria's description - something else to keep in mind: Victoria is both betrayed by the four Horsemen and needs to convince the main cast to kill them. She has all the reasons to slander Daisy - and I'm reasonably sure she doesn't do that too much here, because let's face it, Daisy is pretty horrifying on her own. I wonder how much of Victoria's descriptions of the Red Hand Gang is informed by what they actually did(as actual Horsemen of the Apocalypse)vs how humans would frame it (remember how she said that Red Hand killed her husband and son, and Andy confirmed it in the Q&A to be parts of the metaphor, not just things she made up?). She continues the theme started with Bellows - what makes a monster, and what makes a man how much of their personalities and actions is influenced by their supernatural aspect? Daisy clearly thinks of herself as a somewhat caring person - offering some people a relief from their maladies (for a very steep price, in many ways). Just how much of the Horsemen's actions are informed by their original purpose - heralding the end of the world as we know it and the birth of the new one? Are they still unwittingly work towards that goal or had some of them tried to postpone it and fail? That would be an amazingly tragic twist if some of the Horsemen had actually tried escaping their original purpose.
• Which brings us to the next Horseman - Famine, Hildegard Unger! Aunt Hildie, uncrowned queen of unearned familiarity. Her world faire pavillions actually sound like a nightmare (at least to me, but this may be because I hate children's songs with every fiber of my being and "Fruits and veggies, meats and grains" chant immediately set me off. Hearing Bison Billy telling the guy in the cow costume to stop singing felt incredibly cathartic). I really like the idea that the Famine personified came up with this marketing persona that weaponises politeness and sarcastic jabs(see her making fun of Bison Billy's act and his injury). You can't pin down what is wrong with her politeness (or you can, but it would be considered rude to do so out loud), but there is something off about it. Just like with her food. (She also feels like a more modern interpretation of famine - on paper, its A-OK, and the marketing looks solid, but her food isn't really nourishing in any way and she's too slippery and too wealthy to be hit with the consequences of her lies). 10/10, very punchable antagonist.
(Also - since she's an avatar of famine, does this mean she is always a bit hungry? Can she get drunk? If she can get drunk, would that technically make her the lightweight of the Horsemen, since she'd be always drinking on an almost empty stomach?)
• Last, but certainly not least - Victoria! The Conquest. Oh, Victoria. Loyal to your purpose to a fault. If only there was a way to console you without bringing on the end of times. That "they murdered my husband and son, and left me to die" line hits different in the end (How does a being like a Horseman of the Apocalypse even cope with being stripped of most of their powers and abandoned by their closest friends? Twice?). That's why I wish there was a little more downtime in this series - watching the posse bond not only with each other, but with Victoria would've made the finale even more heartwrenching.
Speaking of heartwrenching - Victoria weaponising Edie's trauma in her trial sent shivers down my spine when I watched it. How exactly had Victoria learned about Edie's past - had Edie told her that herself? Had Victoria read her mind as a part of the trial(since she puppeted the illusion of Edie's little brother)? Either way, that's a very telling thing that she (even after being nerfed down to basically human level by the other four) still considers herself a Horseman of the Apocalypse. Victoria DeClary, you're one cold blooded woman and I salute you.

warning: mario movie ending spoilers
i have my own thoughts about the post-ending credit scenes and the implications that peach came from the real world. remember the 1993 movie? what if a spunky tomboy-ish girl called daisy found him and raised him causing chaos in brooklyn? i think that would be a funny shout-out and a cool direction if theres ever a sequel!
That would be cool :)
So you mean Daisy would find Yoshi and he would become her pet, just like how Yoshi in the 1993 movie was a pet of the royal family?
I am curious that, given Peach's backstory, what DOES this mean for other humans of the Mushroom World? Do humans just come wandering in from Earth on a daily basis and get adopted??
Perhaps and hear me out! they can go in a different direction with the origins and species of the other human characters!
For example: given Wario and Waluigi have unusual pointy ears, perhaps they are from the Mushroom World, but instead are another human looking species, like elves.
just not as hot as Legolas
And Daisy could have a slight redesign where she looks more like a plant princess who has control over flowers!
where her crystal strike from Strikers Charged be at Nintendo? 👀 Where it be???
E Gadd could also be a human from Earth, but given how he's a paranormal scientist, he just says "Ah screw it!" because he becomes fascinated with the Boo species and other ghosts in the MK, and wishes to study them.
- - -
Just throwing stuff out there. I just think that all this lore with Peach and the Bros in the movie verse is probably going to cause some challenge for when and if they introduce the other human characters.
