Static and Snuggles

Kakashi's hair tends to generate a lot of static. Being naturally fluffy and attached to an avid lightning user, this is somewhat to be expected. Kakashi is also, as one could potentially expect, a fan of cuddles. Not the gentle, romantic kind, no. The dog-piling, upside down laying, stomach nuzzling aggressive kind that leaves no room for divided attention.

Iruka has come to accept this. He knows that when he sits at the low coffee table to do some grading, it's only a matter of time before there's a head in his lap and hands sneaking into questionable spaces.

He has also learned that Kakashi turns into a sleepy puddle near instantly once he starts playing with his hair. This is incredibly convenient if Iruka wants to get any work done. It's also incredibly endearing, but he certainly won't tell his lover that, lest he catch on.

Adversely, Kakashi will absolutely refuse to tell Iruka why he loves laying in his lap so much. While the chuunin strokes his hair with one hand and grades essays with the other, his loose hair will slowly rise from his shoulders in a staticy halo. The effect is somewhere between cute and hilarious, especially because Iruka never seems to notice.

Kakashi will rub his head more thoroughly into Iruka's fingers, enjoying the little zaps the contact makes against his scalp and watching as the electricity travels all the way up to his love's hair. He smiles and closes his eyes, feeling tingly with happiness all over.
