story time! i met the cr cast this past weekend at mcm london and they were the kindest people imaginable, but my interaction with laura and marisha was just. incomprehensibly sweet and the best thing to ever happen to me.

first up was laura. my friends izzy (@wvearp) and abby (@overnighttosunflowers) went before me in the queue and they got my art signed by her. when they did, she said “oh, best art” and they told her that they were here with the artist. she immediately was like “what?! where?!” and started looking around frantically. i was standing just to the side and i waved awkwardly and she was like “NO WAY! YOU!! i favourite this shit on twitter ALL THE TIME!” which i find hilarious because yeah, i freak out a little every time she does.

when it got to my turn, i said hello and asked her how she was doing. she did not answer my question and instead said “cole, are you kidding me? these are gorgeous” about the two prints i handed to her. (the one pictured and a different one i got signed.) she said she remembers seeing this after the episode aired and i was like “yeah, it airs at 3am here so i drew this in a frantic, sleep deprived stupor at 7am” and she said “you did it so fast, i remember! i sent it to marisha! people are SO QUICK with the fanart, you guys are insane.”

after she signed the print, she held onto it for a moment and just sat and admired it, before looking at me with the BIGGEST smile and saying “you are seriously the best. thank you.” and i don’t know how to handle sincerity so i handed her the dice i got for her. she was so excited about them and immediately rolled the d20 and got a 10 (edit: i misremembered, she got a 3 lol). i then asked if we could play rollies and she beat me. i got a 5 and laura got a 7. i said i’m sorry they’re not rolling well and she was like “it’s fine, they just need charging up!”

i also got a selfie too, but the guy helping her at the table took the photo for us instead of me trying to take it because i suck at taking selfies. she gave me a really tight side hug and when it was done, she thanked me again with the biggest smile.

i also didnt realize until afterwards but instead of writing a character quote, laura wrote “you are everything” on my autograph 😭

next was the group photo op. as we walked up i said hi again to laura and she immediately recognized me from before. she grabbed onto my shoulders and literally spun me around to marisha and was frantically saying “marisha marisha, this is the person that does the amazing imodna art!” but there was a lot going on and marisha was looking at me with the most bewildered expression, until she eventually understood what laura was saying but we had to rush to take the photo. laura held onto my arm and marisha leaned against me and i didn’t realize until afterwards but liam and tal also had their hands on my shoulders lol. it was A Lot. i told marisha i would probably be heading to her autograph queue next so i’d see her there and she was like “awesome, i cant wait!”

so after that, i met marisha. i was probably the most nervous to meet her because she’s just so cool and intimidating but in reality she is just so warm and has such a calming presence about her. she was like “cole, good to see you again!” and i handed her the same imodna print that i had laura sign. she said “ohh, aww this is amazing! this is what laura was talking about, i was so confused!”

then we talked a bit about the live show because her voice was hoarse and i asked her how she was feeling. she said it was just her voice that was gone, but we agreed that it was absolutely worth it because the live show was incredible. i also congratulated her on the how do you wanna do this, then gave her the dice i got for her and we played rollies too. we both got an 18 at first and when we rerolled, she beat me with another 18 to my 16. then she was like “oh these roll really well, i’m definitely gonna use these!”

we took our photo together and afterwards she said “thank you for your art and everything. seriously, you’re so talented” while rubbing my shoulder, and then i headed off to join ashley’s queue.

i’m probably gonna make a separate post about meeting ashley and sam. i just wanted to write this down mostly to immortalize on my blog. i expected them to be kind but i did NOT expect to feel so loved and appreciated. laura was about as excited as i was, and made me feel so special. (this is also a pretty small thing but i dont think i pass very well, so the fact that laura said ‘person’ and didn’t misgender me meant a hell of a lot too.)

i did bring extra prints to give to them as a gift but was overwhelmed and forgot lol

anyway, that’s it! for anyone wondering if the critical role cast are as kind in person as they seem online, they absolutely are and then some. i’ll never forget this past week.

CW: jealousy and obsession of course, toxic behavior, some more slight stalker-ish behavior, nothing intense or anything, ur on base with the both of them in these scenarios again.

Hesh- oh dear, a jealous Hesh is an irritable one I think. I imagine he could hide it well, he’s probably used to hiding jealousy (looking at you Elias family dynamic👀), but it eats him alive, really.

Seeing his precious friend//lover/obsession slowly distance themselves is like a knife to the gut, and he knows exactly how that feels. He’s a little more snarky, a little more hotheaded at times than usual, because what’s going on? Has he done something? Said something to upset you? His darling from above, what’s gotten into you?

He won’t interfere much on your end, but he’d do anything if you’d just come back, sweetheart. Sit with him during mealtimes again instead of with whatever mangy soldiers there are on base. Take walks with him again, clean your guns or do whatever it is that you’ve slowly started to do with others.

His jealously is obvious to those that know him well. Logan and Elias can tell what his deal is, and most of the other Ghosts can tell something’s up with him regardless, but only he can truly understand how consumed his thoughts are. Thankfully he’s busy a lot, but his down time thoughts are riddled with doubt and worry. Was it really all in his head? Do you not appreciate him as much as he you? Are you toying with him? No, you’re too precious to do such a wicked thing, right? He knows you’re too sweet to upset him on purpose. Do you know what jealousy does to a person? Surely you do.

So maybe it’s not you, he reasons. It’s those mutts you’ve been hanging out with more. He doesn’t like those soldiers, regardless of what they have or haven’t done. Because they’ve taken you from him, in his jealousy addled mind. He can’t see it any other way. If they’re his subordinates, he uses intimidation to mess with them, whether he really means to or not. If they’re his superiors, he’s cold, distanced. Only doing and saying the absolute necessity to avoid any repercussions.

He’s smart though, he can handle this even if it bothers him. He may start to take after Logan a bit and follow you around base a little, see exactly what it is you’re doing. He’ll ‘accidentally’ start running into you more, start needing more from you, for work related reasons, and that’s it. If you go on ops with him, you’re basically attached at the hip, only letting you part if necessary. And his voice will still flood your ear on comms, so how far away are you really? You may drift, but he’ll be the life raft that pulls you right back to shore. His jealousy is like an infected wound, sometimes it starts to heal whenever he gets you alone, gets you in his sights, get your attention on him. But when you ultimately keep straying, it flares and festers.

You may be distancing yourself, he may see you with others more than with himself. But no matter how far you you go, you could never get that far, sweetheart. He’s always gonna care for you.

You’re in his heart, whether you wanna be or not.

Logan- now this one I think would let his jealousy shine a bit more. He’s a little younger, not as emotionally developed as Hesh just yet. But like his brother, he gets cranky. You brightened up his days and now they’ve been clouded by some other idiots. So when he sees his darling starting to stray, he does ask.

Asks if you’re okay, at first. He hasn’t seen you around as much, where’ve you been? Are you alright? Did he upset you? It may be the most you’ve heard him talk at once. It doesn’t matter what you say or don’t say, it doesn’t feel like enough of an explanation for him because you still distance yourself. And your mere presence is what he used to thrive on.

His thoughts may take that even more juvenile approach, and he makes it personal whether it is or not. You must hate him now, huh? He must’ve done something to you, angel. Why else would you hang out with people who don’t even know your favorite snacks and drinks or if you prefer sleeping with or without socks? He knows you, do they?

And he goes a little up the wall. Hearing your voice, the smell of you that wafted in the air start to disappear more and more was like someone dangling a carrot in front of him. He was annoyed by you, a bit. He couldn’t stay mad at you, not you, god no. But his feelings were hurt, and he wasn’t too sure how to handle it.

He asked Hesh of course, who gave him an answer that didn’t lead you back to him, ultimately, therefore he didn’t take any of it to heart. He missed you, and watching you around base with other soldiers made his jealousy grow. It felt like vines wrapping around his ribcage, ready to crush them all inward and puncture his poor heart with the shards.

Logan’s approach though is to insert himself once more into your life, he’s not shy. Having lunch with other soldiers? Now you’re having lunch with him too, invite or not. Training? Now you’re training with him. Now you’re walking back to the barracks with him, on ops with him, with him with him with him. He can’t help it.

He’ll still follow you around base like a poor puppy too, and maybe you know he does and maybe you don’t. Perhaps it’s from a distance, the man is a silent giant after all.

You’d have to explicitly tell him to back off if you wanted him too. Until then? You’re still his favorite person, darling, he’s just being a friend.

Even if you’re starting to lack in that department. Don’t worry, he’ll maintain it enough for the both of you.

Luffy:

Okay so because this is the One Piece universe, I’m gonna say that even though you don’t have a devil fruit, as a magician, you hold true magic! Okay? Okay

With that being said, Luffy is so entertained by you

Yes, his crew needs a chef, a musician, a navigator, a doctor, etc…but once he met you, he realized his crew also needed an entertainer

No, you weren’t a typical magician that pulls rabbits out of a hat (even though you probably could) but your magic allowed you to do so much more than your average trick

And Luffy loved your abilities so much, they brought him so much excitement

He’s always asking you to do something outrageous, going above and beyond with his requests to see how far your abilities truly go

From making him levitate, to cutting someone in half without killing them, his requests are endless, and sometimes even a little exhausting to keep up with

One of his favorite requests though are to see beneath the ocean; since he can’t swim, Luffy loves being able to see the ocean floor and the creatures that reside there

So if you’re able to create a magic bubble around you both and take him in the water, he’d love you forever (he already does)

You both love fooling around on the ship together, pranking the other crew members with your magic, and honestly the crew is fed up with your antics, but it’s nothing they aren’t used to already with Luffy onboard

During battles, Luffy sometimes gets distracted because he wants to see what crazy thing you’re going to do to your opponent using your magic

Catch him clapping his hands and laughing as you turn a marine’s sword into a balloon sword lol

“Ohh me next, turn my hands into metal Y/N!”

He’s so unserious, we love it

Though the cons to having magic and using is all the time is that you become drained very quickly, and when that does happen during a fight, Luffy is speeding to your side to protect you

After all, you’re more than just another crew member to him (or an entertainer as he recruited you as), you were his girlfriend and he would always make sure to take care of you

As much as he loved to see your magician abilities, your well-being was way more important to him

So whenever you do get drained, he takes you to a safe place, presses a kiss to your temple, and tells you to rest up while he and the rest of the crew take care of things

Of course sometimes you don’t listen to him; you’re part of the crew after all and if you just sit by and rest while everyone else surpasses their limits, you end up feeling a little useless

So you so what you can from afar, turning the opponents weapons into harmless objects, sometimes making their clothes vanish so they become flustered and distracted long enough so Sanji or Zoro can use that to their advantage, and sometimes you even help your crew avoid some hits by making them levitate or teleporting them to a safer area

You were definitely a very helpful member of the crew despite how tiring being a magican can be sometimes

Luffy gets a little upset that you didn’t follow his orders in staying somewhere safe and resting, but he’s grateful regardless

Once the fight it over, he’s carrying you back to the ship where he makes sure you spend the rest of the day resting without using any of your magic

He really loves you so much and you’ll always know that

“oohhh zoro too huh” she smirked at you but then sighed “personally im team ace im pretty sure he can pay his debts on time…”

the endo fight’s scaring me, man. also super fucking worried about ume bc WE HAVEN’T SEEN HIM FOR SO LONG??? the chair throw spooked me. also worried about ume’s vegetable garden. I know it’s getting trampled to shit. also very worried about sakura. he’s getting all banged up by endo, his nose is probably broken now wtf he was bleeding SO MUCH.

chika’s scary too. both him and endo. i honestly don’t know what’s gonna happen next like, they’re both so unpredictable and unhinged that my butthole’s clenching in sheer terror.

I’m also very concerned about suo. WHY HAVE WE NOT SEEN HIM EATING (or maybe I’ve missed a panel lol) but with every food offer he’s ever been given, he turns them down. also the fact that we only know him on a surface’s surface level even when he’s one of the main boys is scaring me. we’re 140+ chapters deep and not one single suo morsel for us to nibble on. I just remembered I didn’t post a recap of Joseph Quinn day last Sunday so here it is:

Had my first photo op with him and he was way taller than I expected (don’t ask me why I thought he wasn’t gonna be taller than me lol)

I asked how he was doing and he said good

It was SOOOO loud I couldn’t really hear him🥺

When we had our second photo op I asked if I could touch his chest because I’m not one to just touch anyone without permission and he said “sure! Yeah!”

Then we had to wait 3 hours for the autograph session so we went and got another photo op with Sean Astin while we waited

He remembered us from the day before and as we left he once again told me “be good!” Then looked at my roommate and said “be good” like this 👀

Waited in the autograph line for Joseph and I picked a photo of Arthur because I already have an Eddie one

Handed it to one of the five people standing around him and then once again asked how he was doing because apparently that’s just my opening line when meeting people 🙈 he said “I’m good how are you?”

I could actually hear him this time and said I’m good and then he slid the photo to me and said “this is for you” i told him thank you and he smiled and said “thank you as well”

He had on a jacket, hat and his glasses for the autograph and it was lowkey kinda hard to see his face but when he slid the photo back to me he looked up and that’s when he smiled 🫠

All in all it was a good day, it was very rushed so everything seems like a blur. But I’d recommend meeting Joseph and of course Sean if you can💖

!!BRAWL TALK SPOILERS!!

Man I have not done one of these in a while- mostly due to a combination of other fixations taking more priority in my brain, and the increasing complexity of all the topics in the most recent Brawl Talks making it harder to do these opinion summaries. Plus, they take me a long time to make. I do really enjoy sharing my personal thoughts though, so I’ve decided that I’ll only really cover things that I really want to talk about so it’s not so much to handle doing one for each talk!

With that out of the way, here’s my thoughts of some of the stuff in the most recent Brawl Talk!

Starting with new brawlers!

Mico honestly kinda terrifies me from a gameplay perspective. While I think his slow reload is a fair enough debuff for his attack, his air immunity and damage is gonna be pretty annoying to deal with, ESPECIALLY since he’s gonna be free to everyone meaning he will haunt my every nightmare in every game.

Beyond that I think he’s cool enough. His super is awesome and I’m hoping to see some funny stuff of him hanging with Lola and Gray!

LOOK AT MY ADORABLE ITTY BITTY KITTY SON-

Kit whole move set is so damn interesting and seems like he’s gonna be so much fun! As a fan of supports myself, I might even sort of side-main him if I enjoy using him enough. (Though that would probably end up pushing out my dear best boy Otis from his spot, since I’ve already made him second to Sandy)

Love everything about this dude, gimmie my son as soon as possible-

These guys are so stupid adorable I NEED to see them being protective over R-T and bickering like siblings in the most loving way- Please guys I need so much cute fan art of them

I always wondered what it would be like for two brawlers to be played as one and I’m not disappointed with the result! Something feels a bit empty, but it will probably be easily fixed with good gadgets and star powers.

GalaxyCon

I should probably post about GalaxyCon before I forget everything, huh? 

My first day was Saturday and I. Was not prepared. Most of the cons I’ve attended are fandom-specific, and can draw large crowds, but nothing compared to this. According to a news article the next day, there were some 50,000 attendees.

I’d originally only planned to go Saturday, but then Colin’s panel was announced for Sunday, so I got another ticket for then. Saturday was spent beating my way through the crowds (or, more accurate, being beaten) - and getting my photo op with Colin.

It’s been four years since I’d last seen him at Enchanted 2, and damn, he looked amazing. The op was brief, because they do thousands of photos in one day, so I barely had time to do more than say ‘hi’ and ‘thank you.’ He thanked me for coming, and at that point I remembered just how blue his eyes were, and how lovely that Irish brogue is, since it’s currently very thick after being in Ireland for so long. Yup, I still swoon for Colin.

I didn’t get an autograph, but a friend did, and I hung around in line with her until were almost to Colin. His line was so long, it wrapped into the next aisle. I’m not sure the staff anticipated his popularity. And while I was in line, someone told Colin how long his line was, and he gave a little “Yeah!” and put up his arms.

Then we have the Sunday panel. I’m trying to remember as much as I can, but I know I’ll miss things. I’ll put it under a cut, since this is starting to run long.

First of all, kudos to the panel moderator, who helped rephrase questions and guide Colin so he could follow strike rules. That can’t have been easy, so good on GalaxyCon for being prepared and still being able to give us a great panel experience.

Colin was introduced as that actor from That Show, and That Other Show, and That One Movie, etc. At some point, OUAT became ‘The Thing,’ and now I want to embrace that as the show’s alternate title. Also, that would be an awesome crossover.

Anyway... We got a brief introduction, and Colin talked about how hot it was (it had been well over 90 degrees, with a Real Feel of over a hundred, on the day he arrived) and how he’d chosen to wear a suit jacket over his t-shirt and had Regrets.

He apologized for if he was difficult to understand, because he knew how thick his accent was, but someone yelled out they loved it, which he then said was why he brought it up, because he wanted people to say that.

He also said he was doing the panel because he liked having people tell him how great he was, to which the moderator had the entire crowd yell out, “You’re great!”

Then we got to the most bizarre mix of questions I’ve ever heard, and it was wonderful. Things we learned included:

- Colin owns 30 guitars, one of which belonged to Ringo Starr. He has another one that belonged to someone famous, but I can’t remember whom

- If he were a dog breed, he’d be a black Labrador retriever mix

- If he were a comic book superhero (the comic part is very important) he’d want to be Batman. He wanted to be Superman once, but now he wants to be Batman. He earned a blue candy for this, which he promptly put in his mouth with predictable results. Dude, don’t eat candy when you know you’re gonna have questions, LOL.

- Voice acting roles aren’t taboo, so he talked a bit about how different it was to voice Douxie, and how different it was to do dialogue in a booth because he had to be more dynamic rather than speak normally. He also at one point did a bit of Gerry the Leprechaun for us.

- Colin was asked about his feelings on ‘Rise of the Titans.’ He said he enjoyed it, then said he trusted the writers to know what’s best for the characters. I’m not sure if that’s how he really felt, or if he’s just being careful.

- If he were two scoops of ice cream, he’d be pistachio and vanilla - the real vanilla, with the bean.

- He likes pineapple on pizza. He will accept no criticism of this.

- If that one character with the thing on his hand had a dog breed, it would be a black Labrador retriever mix.

- Something he did for The Thing was play INXS’s ‘Need You Tonight’ and did a little strut while wearing the coat. Colin demonstrated. I died.

- When asked what comic villain he would want to be, he said the Joker. This earned him a green candy. He ate it, though he also said he didn’t care for the candy. Colin, why.

- If he could have one mythical creature as a pet, it would be Cerberus. But the heads would be black Labrador retriever mixes. I’m starting to think Colin really loves his dog.

- At one point, Colin said he was having a lot of trouble with this, and that he was worried he’d say the wrong thing. The panel mod assured him that he was doing well. I felt bad for him, because yeah, this can’t have been easy.

- Colin was asked what his most ridiculous phobia is. Colin answered that he fears NOTHING. Except panels.

- When asked if he still talks to people from The Thing, he said a very firm but teasing NO - then proceeded to list a number of people that he does, in fact, talk to.

- Then there’s the beard... at the end of the panel, he said he can’t talk about it, but there’s a reason he has the ‘stupid beard.’ He really doesn’t like it, and it’s kind of hilarious that thanks to the strike, he’s kinda stuck with it for an indeterminate period of time.

It was a rainy Thursday morning and Paige was up making breakfast when she got a flashback of the nightmare where her ex came back for her. She’d been having it for the past 4 weeks now. Dropping the spatula she scrambled to a corner and started shaking. Her breathing became harder than it was. 

Joe, still asleep, jolted up to the sound of the spatula dropping and ran out of the room to find Paige hyperventilating in the corner. Joe ran over to Paige and asked “Do you mind if I wrap you in my arms?” Trying not to make her anxiety worse. Paige nodded yes and Joe quickly scooped her up in his arms.

He starts speaking to her “Baby, try to slow your breathing down. We’ll do it together. Inhale and exhale. Make your breathing match mine.” Joe started breathing in and out to help her calm her breathing down. Once her breathing was calm and she was calm he looked at her “You ok baby?” He asked worriedly.

She nods and says “Yea. I’m alright. It was just a flashback of the nightmare that I’d been having for 4 weeks where my ex-boyfriend kept coming back for me. I can’t sleep after it happens so I just stay awake.” Joe looked at her with worry in his eyes. “Why didn’t you tell me. I would’ve stayed up with you.” She looks at Joe and says “I didn’t want to wake you. You looked so peaceful sleeping and I know how tiring your job is so I let you sleep.” He says “Next time wake me up.” She says “I will baby. I was in the middle of cooking when it happened so can you make breakfast.” Joe decides to go cook but Paige has something else in mind. 

Paige went into their room and put on this 2 piece lingerie set that was black. She saw Joe with his back turned to her so she sits on the island and she says “Hey Baby. Do you like my outfit?” He turns around to find her in lingerie and he can’t help but stare at her and the way her body looks in it. Joe says “Yea. I like that a lot.” Joe continues to stare. 

Paige says “Turn off the stove if you’re gonna stare.” Joe says “I’m not staring. I’m just enjoying the view.” Joe turns off the stove and walks over to Paige. He grabs Paige's waist and says “You’re a naughty girl.” Joe kisses Paige’s neck which causes her to throw her head back. Joe’s fingers rub right over the lingerie and Paige moans. 

Joe looks at her with lust “I didn’t even touch you yet and you’re needy for me already.” Then Joe licked her slowly and deeply, teasing her with his tongue, while Paige writhed beneath him in pleasure. Joe then moved up her body and slammed into her, thrusting in and out, while Paige clung to him, nails digging into his back.

They moved together in unison, each thrust sending waves of pleasure through their bodies until eventually, they both reached their climaxes. After they came Joe carried her into the room and says “Let’s get cleaned up. We have to eat breakfast and then go to the gym.” Paige follows him into the shower and kisses him.

Most of the time! I usually respond to friends/ people I know well, or if someone pointed out something specific in my fic they liked. And I responded to every comment made on my West Wing fic so far bc I want the fandom to notice me😅

lol I don’t write many fics with angsty endings (I do like writing angst sometimes but I need things to end happily😅) but I guess this would be Baby Blue, If I Could Only Break the Sky, or When We Were Whole (not sure which one would be the most angsty)

so many! lol but I wanna single out Coda bc it was my attempt at wrapping up the mytharc and giving Mulder and Scully a happy ending with William (and giving Samantha’s storyline some actual closure lmao) and I think I did a decent job of it🤗

I did get a hateful comment on a fic not long ago (ironically, it was and still is my most popular fic by almost every metric so someone was clearly jelly lmao) and I’ve had a couple of comments in the past on different fics that weren’t quite hateful but more like critiquing/nitpicking character or writing choices.

I don’t think I’ve ever written one! But I have ideas for TXF/Star Trek and TXF/SVU crossovers that I might write someday if I ever find the time/energy/inspiration😅

I have a Riker/Troi amnesia fic that has been sitting in my notes for three years, every chapter either written, partly written, or outlined, but I just can’t make myself sit down and sort it out😫 also I used to start publishing fics before I was certain where I was going with them, and For War Alone is a relic of that (and it has also been sitting there since 2020 lol)

I have been told I’m really good at dialogue, and I choose to take people at their word😅

I’m addicted to adverbs, also I just love reusing the same words and phrases over and over- one time in a first draft I used the word ‘actually’ four times in a single paragraph!

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I love reading that! I feel like it makes the setting and characters and everything seem more realistic, but for writing it I pretty much need to rely on google translate or multilingual moots lol

I wrote a LotR fic a long time ago! But the first fic in my modern day stretch of fic writing was for the Star Trek novel-verse: Psi-Ops

Oh gosh this is so hard but I’m gonna say Where A Million Stars Catch Fire bc I put in a lot of time and effort carefully constructing it as a tribute to Mulder’s birthday this year, and I’m really proud of how it ultimately turned out🥰

i’m loving the layers to haechan. there’s all this confidence and charm and interactions that made me feel like ‘god he’s just another man being a flirt despite having a girlfriend’ but then there are moments when complete clarity is felt and their connection is just so obvious. his comfort with oc is so obvious along with the way she’s stimulating him mentally/emotionally/physically. like i get his actions with all that in mind (is that crazy to say?), and it all makes me want insight into his rs with winter. how it got started. what it gives him. what it’s missing. well, we get a picture painted of what’s missing. i’m writing this after reading part 2, and i can’t pretend i don’t want a man who’s this obsessed with me. i know that’s partially bc i do not doubt that i’ll be obsessed right back. i also have to take a moment to say how fine and sexy haechan is. i nearly collapsed beneath the weight of his energy in your fic 😩

also, i had such a fun time listening to the playlist while reading. i also ended up with justine skye’s collide playing on repeat and that made part 2 feel even more intense. music is such a source of inspiration for my own writing, and i love that it’s something you weave into your stories. it’s also a joyous and fascinating experience to see and read the art music inspires and creates. it’s like a constant pool of rebirth and i’m obsessed with that

i fully get you tbh like i started out writing the fic with no real idea of the relationship btwn him and winter and as i was writing i was like. okay but what does she fulfill for him that he’s not getting from winter like why did he switch lanes with such ease what did he SEE what did he FEEL which can be hard to capture from ….well, Not His Point Of View so i just . did my best bc MC def has the same questions so some of these get answered !!!!!!!! in some scenes it’s more in details than being said explicitly but tbh you’re such a close reader that i feel like you’ll get it when those scenes come up!!

Oh I did side-eye the Leo Moon, in the June Good Days list, as well! Did however not know that it would go on to sextile the house party in Gem for support. Huh. Very interesting. 

My Initial Waxing Moon option was the Sun-Merc Superior Conjunction on the 14th, and wait a couple of minutes for the moon to scoot on over to Libra entering the OP you wrote about, “An excellent waxing Moon OP for commerce, arts, networking, or partying.” Assuming that the conjunction puts Sun (project) and Mercury (everything communicative, internet etc) in one big balanced spotlight OUT THERE. With the Libra Moon lending further Venusian 7th house-ish support (fun fact: Instagram is a Libra sun... which kind of makes sense).

But hm. Would You favour the Good Sun Day with Moon in Leo over that? I be trusting your knowledge and experience on this. Can certainly see how the creative element of fire, lead by head honcho Leo no less, is an important ingredient in a chart of this type. My option would be lacking in fire, unless the placements in the final birth chart land in fire houses 1, 5, 9. LOL ... ma'am, I understant if you are currently sighing and rolling your eyes. 51% huh? ;)

The one thing I didn’t like about the Libra timeframe, is - although Venus is still in late Gemini when the Moon enters Libra - Venus moves on to Cancer before the Moon is finished with Libra. It’s a very tight situation, happening quickly:

Monday, June 17

06:05 UT - Moon void of course

06:20 UT - Venus enters Cancer

06:38 UT - Moon enters Scorpio

06:40 UT - Moon trine Venus

That feels so squished to me.

Anyway, the only real difference between the Leo and Libra times, is that the Moon/Leo will sextile Venus/Gemini, but the Moon/Libra makes no aspect to Venus/Gemini.

You might also want to consider which sign you’re more compatible with (now I’m gonna have to listen to “Kiss” when I’m through writing). As an example, I’m a Gemini; and although I feel fine about/with both Leo and Libra, I’d probably feel finer with the sister air sign, Libra.

So it’s up to Venus, I guess: do you want the Moon to have an aspect with her, or is that not necessary?

(It’s hard to decide anything with so much mutability: Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune all in either Gemini or Pisces. Not enjoying it at the moment.)
