Had to read this for a summer assignment, but I enjoyed it so much! Made me have to think alot but in a good way. Honestly want to reread it again but this time not under the pressure of an assignment lol. (Also I was at a loss for words when I reread Nekoma Blues by aritzen which is a personal kryk fic fav of mine, and saw that the anthology of Story of your life was mentioned in there! A very surreal moment lol.)

Last movie: Peabody and Sherman. Lol. It is a very good movie still.

Nickname: i started going by masha back in 2014ish, when i started RPing on tumblr :v before that, i didn’t really have an online handle bc i’d never really done a lot of interacting with other fans, or when i did, it was on deviantart, and everyone just called me by my username at the time (which btw was very hard to make a legit nickname out of lmao i recall being called ‘organs’ a lot)

Zodiac: taurus `~` also snake, but i never can keep the element straight. i think it might be earth?? bc i remember being very amused that so many of my zodiac things connect back to the element of earth, ha

Favourite author: it was h.g. wells when i was in middle school, ha. war of the worlds is still one of my favorite books, too. but overall, i don’t generally have favorite authors so much as i have favorite books, aha-- oH tho i did just remember that of the ones i’ve read, i do enjoy hemingway’s Style thinking emoji in college i wrote analyses of a few of his works for various assignments, and being my first foray into that kinda thing, it means i have pretty positive Feelings attached to his work in general now lmao

Favourite instrument: i have a light fondness for the piano even tho it’s like super basic lmao. i always kinda wanted to learn how to play it orz i learned some songs when i was a teenager, but it was all self-taught and by ear, and nowadays i doubt i could remember them
