my name's cait! (they/she) im a 21 yr old uni student from aruba and a loooongtime simblr lurker.

ive always managed to talk myself out of making a blog and posting my sims but i decided to bite the bullet and do it. i mainly linger in CAS making sims but I also have a current game that i'd love to share screencaps of. to commemorate this blog im sharing an edit of its namesake, my ver. of liberty lee!

i do play on my hand-me-down macbook so i can't guarantee high-quality screencaps or sims but i hope some of you enjoy my queer lil guys. *ೃ༄

finished my horse ranch gp sims and yes they have unnecessary extensive lore that only matters to me

in order left to right

sullivan (sully) nakai: animal lover, green fiend, serious

jacquelyn (jack) loloma: loner, genius, overachiever

mackenzie (mack) loloma: daredevil

sully and jack were childhood friends and eventually fell in love as they became teens. unexpectedly, they became teen parents to mackenzie, and shortly after graduation they got married.

as the years passed a feeling of resentment grew within jack. she loved sully (and still does,) but she didn't want to become complacent in life and give up her dreams of going to law school. naturally, sully and jack grew apart; they wanted different things in life. she wanted to venture outside of her hometown and live in the city, and sully perfectly content tending to his late father's ranch with his brother.

so, they got divorced and jack left with mackenzie to live in san myshuno. sully is someone who doesn't regret anything in life, but sometimes he wishes that he had fought harder to keep mackenzie in his life. their relationship is quite strained now that mack is older and also due to the distance. with jack's busy schedule as a lawyer they don't go back to visit often, so they mostly communicate through the occasional video call when mack isn't too busy terrorizing her classmates at school.

now that mack's out of school for the summer, jacquelyn feels it would be best for her daughter to spend her summer vacation on the ranch with her dad. she'll get a chance to have some quality time with sully and bond with him and also learn some discipline (hopefully).

Most of Valcita’s days were spent the same way, on the floor of her restaurant talking with customers, keeping her staff motivated, and ensuring things were running smoothly. It was hard work, constantly on her feet with a smile on her face, but every day she liked it more.

Hours could easily pass like minutes, and when she ever got overwhelmed, she could always look upstairs through the windows to where Jo sat in her office, handling the accounting for the restaurant and managing wine orders before a distribution trip.

That day, Jo was looking through the orders, when she was surprised to discover a sizable invoice from outside of their usual market. It was enough to stock a full bar ten times over, complete with a request to sample her finest bottles for the customer’s private reserves.

She looked through the order again, searching for more details on the customer. The moment she found them, her world began to spin. Signed at the bottom was a name she hadn’t seen in years, one that she had moved halfway around the world to forget in what seemed like another lifetime.

The name reverberated in her mind over and over, until long after Val had fallen asleep and Jo rose from bed to pull out a photo she had hidden away. The seemingly perfect bubble of her world had been shattered, and the past was now bleeding into her every waking moment. For that name felt like a tether to another version of herself entirely…

Okay after a brief delay (coding hard) (do NOT look at it on mobile) I have uploaded the international names of all major and secondary SPOP characters, plus a few tertiaries for a little extra flavor. All languages using the Latin alphabet have been transcribed 1:1, and where non-Latin alphabets approximate the English names, I’ve chosen to represent them as such. Like yeah there’s no J in Greek but Ánd͡zela is as close as they can get to /d͡ʒ / without reclaiming the word ángelos from like 1500 years’ worth of palatization, so… I’m just writing the English name. You can read it with a little accent in your head if you want. 

A huge thank you to @gveret-fic (whose fics you can check out here!) for helping me with the romanized Hebrew spellings! And teaching me that the definite article is a prefix, bc that made a lot of words make sense suddenly. If there are any native speakers of the other transliterated languages out there… please, god, make sure I didn't fuck up your language's romanizations too badly. i'm just one nerd

hello!!!! to introduce me a lil, my favourite hobby is playing the sims as ive been playing since 2010. ive always had a tumblr account but i usually just used it for cc. i started posting screenshots sometime in 2023 and then i started to learn about reshade + a billion other programs and now i looooove creating sims content! (im very much still a noob)

i mainly (literally only) play with my simself and although currently i only upload pictures from 1 save, i just wanted to address that incase you see her getting chased by paparazzi one post and then milking a cow the next post. lol!
