[Meet Anti!Qrow] [Fun doodles] [Keyblades]  

Holy shmokies! I wanted to doodle a KH AU on a whim and it ran away from me! ;w; haha. So y’all get 3 parts!!

So! *rubs my little gremlin hands together*  Have a big ol’ info-dump of an AU!

Okay! So sometime between the farmhouse and Argus is when the Heartless start trickling in, I think believe the world seal was always cracked but never enough to allow heartless in; till now; w/ Salem it’s a wonder it didn’t happen sooner. With all the Grim running around, people are just like ‘oh brothers, a new type of Grim. Wonderful.’ but it’s not Grim. This is why they don’t notice people disappearing and the heartless gaining numbers. Like, even the Grim seem leery of the things. Especially as the heartless take on Grim-like forms.

Things ramp up the closer and closer they come to Altas’ fall (in this AU, Atlas does end up falling because the staff is stolen) and seal is broken around the time everything in Mantle/Atlas goes to hell.

Canon divergence! So Qrow and Robin don’t end up going to jail (though it takes Robin practically carrying Qrow away to get him to leave) They lay low for a while, before joining everyone else (well, “joining” is a strong work for what Qrow does)

Qrow has taken to helping from afar again, then spending most of his time as a crow (he stays in the HQ w/ the huntresses and his kids but refuses to interact w/ them for too long) When his kids discover he hasn’t been using Harbinger they corner him, tired of his evasiveness; Ruby and Yang’s clear disappointment is what finally causes him to break and “come clean”. Before they can get into unpacking all that, there’s a commotion outside.

They think it’s another Grim rush, that is until they hurry outside where they’re greeted by a Grim they’ve never seen before (a few Darksides are making their way downtown). They’ve fought bigger, no big deal.

That is, until the skies turn dark and their world begins to be devoured by darkness. People left and right are being consumed. At the last minute, Oscar is able to activate his hamster ball barrier; which is then powered up by both Oz’s magic and Jaune’s semblance and get mostly everyone inside. Qrow is able to get Ruby, Weiss and Penny to safety before the darkness drags him down.

Unfortunately, the barrier can’t hold on forever and they’re all split and dumped into different worlds.

When Qrow falls his heart (the damaged thing it is) is still strong enough that he isn’t turned in a heartless; as he latches onto the love he has in his heart for his kids and family, and the last bit of essence that clings to Clover’s pin.  He is instead dumped into purgatory the realm of Darkness.

Meanwhile, Clover’s heart still resides in The Final World because he can’t let go. But with the power of love heart, he’s dragged back into the world of the living.(though it would probably make it more interesting if he had to go through a “trial” of sorts to get back, like when Sora had to pull himself back together.)

I can’t believe I just thought of this afsdfdsfs During Clover’s dive, after he “re-materializes” he encounters a light, a familiar feeling light, when he touches it it becomes an incomplete, partially shattered heart station; it’s Qrow’s jsyk lol. When he lands on it there’s a flash of light, the cracks are filled in w/ light the same colour as Clover’s aura before it expands out forming Clover’s own heart station

Honestly the crow pic is just to be like ‘nyheheh get it, they’re hearts are connected now.’

Around the same time Clover wakes up in Traverse Town, Qrow wakes up in Darkland. Now down one (1) heart Qrow is officially a Nobody.

Basically Atlas fell on Mantle and dragged them both to hell the Dark Realm. -shrugs-

“Is-is this Mantle?” Qrow mutters to himself as he looks around at the broken streets, and cracked windows of Pietro’s clinic.When he looks up, his eyes widen; floating in the star speckled sky, is a large chunk of what he tell is Atlas. But how? Without the Staff, Atlas couldn’t float and...this, this isn’t Remnant is it. “Where...am I?”

Qrow! Qrow look behind you! Oh no!

When keyblade!Harbinger appears in his hand during a fight. He’s actually disappointed because didn’t he leave this behind? He wasn’t ready to touch it yet, if ever, and now it’s forced upon him. Just his luck.

S/N: So I got to thinkin’ and was like what if Remnant became a world? Like, for the longest time this is a world inaccessible to them; they don’t know it’s Remnant. When it does become accessible it would be a Hallow Bastion/Radiant Garden type thing. Except it would be Grim Lands, and then, uh idk, Kingdom of Vale (or something). It probably doesn’t make sense w/ Solitas still in darkness but whateves. But KH worlds always put focus on one small setting in the story so eh.
