When did you start writing?

Like wayyyyyyyyy back, I technically wrote my first story when i was 11. I didn't write again until i was 15 (original pieces + fanfics), then i stopped and Im back at it again at 26 ayoooo

Are there different themes or genres you enjoy reading than what you write?

if i really need to search further into my favorite books, i would definitely say psychological horror and dramas

Is there a writer you want to emulate or get compared to often?

I don't know writers enough to really get an idea of how to compare myself to any of them, but I do know that i tend to emulate what i'm exposed to, so if I read an entire series from an author, and they used a certain syntax, i'll tend to also do it by force of habit. (i also consider it a flaw cause i see it as hindering my writing creativity ;-;)

Can you tell me a bit about your writing space?

its my personal pc that doubles as my work space, so its a bit all over the place ngl haha, theres a lot of astarion stickers and posters, all the furniture (keyboard, mouse, desk, etc) is pastel purple (my favorite colour), i have three screens (mostly for work but its also useful in day to day life) and my three wallpapers are astarion, of course. sometimes when i feel a writers block, i found out that writing on my laptop does unblock me! in that case, youll find me typing away on my couch in my living room uwu

What's your most effective way to muster up a muse?

MUSIC. What I write will be highly dependent on what I listen at the moment, like I was really into boywithuke when i wrote my angsty fics, and then i moved to a dark romance playlist and that got me going for die for you but then i was unable to continue my other fic cause i wasnt in an angsty mood anymore ._. (i swear i didnt abandon it, it just isnt the playlists turn to play on repeat) and rn im a lot into sleep token and ari abdul

Are there any recurring themes in your writing? Do they surprise you?

So. Much. Smut. And angst. not surprising! my writing will also often depict my current state of mind. dw im in therapy, im working on it

What is your reason for writing?

It's my favorite creative output/the one im most experienced in! i wanna start drawing but i never find the time to really get into it and also terrified of failure which brings me to my second reason, its all i think i can do and i get dopanine reading nice comments teehee

Is there any specific comment or type of comment you find particularly motivating?

when people tell me about a favourite part, when they liked the tension i managed to create, how i convey some characters, and most of all when i get told they loved a character i created!! this is so encouraging and pushes me to continue <3

How do you want to be thought about by your readers?

i dont know how to answer to that .-. uh, i guess i want to be liked? seen as a good writer if anything? idk man ;-;

What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?

Definitely descriptions, and creating a build up in a scene. I feel like it comes naturally to me and people have often told me that they are never lost when reading my scenes which reassures me so much LMAO I feel validated I also think I make really fun dialogue, especially banter with my ocs/tavs

How do you feel about your own writing?

i often self criticise my own work a lot, and i get that imposter syndrome where ill reread my work before posting and go "what the hell" in those moments, im grateful im not writing on paper cause that sheet would find its way to the trash real quick ^^ ' im sincerely truly blessed that my partner offers himself to read my pieces and beta read them, and tell me his honest opinion (there are things i wrote i wish i could forget and yall better be thankful he was there to stop me from posting first versions)

When you write, are you influenced by what others might enjoy reading, or do you write purely for yourself, or a mix of both?

mix of both definitely. initially i wrote my own ideas and if people do end up liking them hell yeah!!! glad im able to find people that vibe the same way i do! then again, when i write for people, even if most of it comes from my silly little imagination, it was initially influenced by the request itself and is going to guide the writing specific to this piece, which honestly makes sense imo

It was Saturday night when you exited the dingy gas station and spotted Billy by one of the pumps. He had an unlit cigarette between his lips and stood with one hand on the pump and the other shoved in his pocket. He hadn't seen you, yet. 

You weren't sure what drove you to go and chat him up. In the short time you'd known him you'd learned what kind of asshole he could be, and the rumors about him preceded him. Still, he'd been decent enough towards you, maybe even a bit of a flirt. 

"All it takes is a spark, you know," you said.

Billy swung around. When he spotted you his mouth twisted into a slight grin. "Don't know better than to sneak up on a guy like that?" he asked. "It's kinda rude." He plucked the cigarette from between his lips and tucked it behind his ear.

"Oh, so you do know what being rude is," you said sarcastically. "I was worried you were the oblivious kind of douchebag."

He shrugged. "Self-awareness is important," he said.

You smiled at him and then nodded at his car. "Out for a drive? Freshly washed?"

Billy patted the roof of his car. "You gotta make sure you take care of your ride."

"I do like to ride in style," you admitted, rolling your lips together. It was so easy to flirt with Billy. If you came on strong he didn't recoil, and he could take a joke. He even had some good punchlines of his own.

He grinned at you. "I better clean up my act, then."

"You couldn't if you tried," you countered without hesitation. "But I imagine that you clean up nice."

"I do," Billy said with a smirk.

You both turned around when a loud sigh came from behind you. A young girl with long red hair stood with her arms full of snacks. "You're gross," she said.

Billy rolled his eyes. At once, his demeanor changed from flirty and relaxed to annoyed. "Whatever," he muttered. "This is my coworker, Y/N," he introduced you. "And this is my sister Max."

"Half-sister," Max said when she looked you up and down. "And you're what? The next fling?"

Billy did not defend you, but you didn't need defending. "I'm his last fling," you said with a grin. "I'll just have to wrestle some sense into him first."

Max laughed. "Good luck with that," she said. "That would be nice though. Can you teach him how to not be an asshole?"

"I can teach anyone anything," you said confidently and put your hands on your hips. "Including cocky Californians."

"I'm right here," he said, crossing his arms over his chest. Although he looked annoyed, there was a spark of amusement in his eyes.

"Yes, we see you," you and Max said in unison, much to her delight. She turned to you again. "You're cool, Y/N," she said.

Smiling, you nodded at her. "You're not so bad yourself," you said.

"Great, are you two best friends now?" Billy asked. He pulled the pump's handle from the car's tank and replaced it on the pump. "You got a ride, Y/N?"

"I thought you were my ride," you said as you watched him get into the car.

"There's room for you," Max said. "Unless you two are going to start being gross again." She squinted between you and her half-brother before she got into the backseat of the car.

You headed around the car and got into the passenger's seat. "I'll try my best. As for Billy..."

He rolled his eyes again. "Very funny," he said and got the car running. "What are you doing out and about anyways?" he asked. "It's not like there's much out here, how did you even get out here?"

"Dad dropped me off on the way out of town," you explained with a shrug. "And before you ask, no, he's not leaving. He's heading to Indianapolis for some poker tournament."

"He's some poker big shot?" Max asked. "Is he in like some mob?"

You shrugged. "He plays every week. He hasn't sold any of his or my organs to pay off debts yet, so I assume that it's fine." You looked over at Billy. "He'll be out of town all weekend."

"I'll keep that in mind," he said.

"Gross," Max said with a grimace but recovered quickly. "Are you a lifeguard too, Y/N?"

"Kind of. I help the manager... well, manage things. And if your brother needs a break, I'm there to take over."

"Half-brother," Max insisted. "And are you like the same age? You don't seem like the other girls that hang around him. Or is this all an act?" She was very forward and straight to the point. Although the questions were on the intrusive side, it was refreshing to have someone not dance around what they really wanted to ask.

You turned around in your seat to look at her. "Maybe I'm an immortal creature waiting for the opportunity to eat him alive?" you suggested, wiggling your fingers menacingly. "Maybe I'm just hanging around for the right time to suck the meat off his bones?"

"I've got something you can suck," Billy muttered.

"Oh my God! Ew!" Max complained loudly, kicking his seat as she frowned. "Gross!"

You laughed and fell back into your seat. "To be frank, I'm just a normal high schooler. I don't eat step-brothers or have more than the average amount of limbs," you said. "I hope that's okay with you."

Max pouted and sunk deeper down into her seat. "At this point, I wish you'd eat him so he wouldn't be so gross and annoying all the time."

"I am still here, and I still hear you," Billy pointed out. "But you two don't care, do you?" Ha dropped you off outside your house, rolling the window down as you walked around the car. "Will you be okay all by your lonesome?"

You leaned down to look at him. "If I didn't know better I'd say you sounded like you're worried about me," you said with a smirk. "If you're so concerned about my loneliness, why don't you do something about it?"

Max groaned. "I'm about to hijack this car and drive myself home," she said.

Billy ignored her. "I might swing by later," he said.

"I'll leave the door open," you vowed.

“Put on something pretty for me?”

You snorted. “In your dreams, Hargrove,” you said. Then winked at him. “See you later.”

It was nearly midnight when you spotted Billy’s car pulled up onto the driveway. You had spent most of the night on the couch, watching TV. Your hair was still a bit damp from the shower you’d taken when you got home and you hadn’t bothered to dress in anything fancier than a pair of shorts and a tank top. 

You remained on the couch, even when you heard the front door open and close.

Billy soon appeared in the doorway. “I can’t believe you actually left the door open. I could have been anyone,” he said.

“You said you’d come over,” you pointed out.

“And you didn’t bother to come and get the door?”

You shrugged. “Knight Rider reruns are on,” you said and pointed to the TV which displayed the dashing image of Hasselhoff talking to his car.

With a sigh, Billy came to join you on the couch. He was visibly surprised that you hadn’t even bothered to get dolled up for him and from the looks of it, that seemed to annoy him. “So you asked me to come over so you wouldn’t have to watch TV by yourself, huh?”

“I suppose,” you said. “I’m not opposed to getting down and dirty, but you’ll have to work for that.” You patted him on the thigh. “Raise the volume a notch, would you?”

“Should have gone to Katie’s,” Billy sighed when he grabbed the remote and raised the volume. Then he tossed the remote aside and leaned back on the couch. 

But he was quick to loosen up. Even though he complained about a lot of things the show had to offer he couldn’t seem to stop gushing about the car. “Imagine owning something like that,” he said, throwing a hand up in defeat. “I don’t care if it’s top-notch AI tech or whatever, the car sounds like a dream.”

“KITT is so cool,” you agreed. “Looks nice and roomy too.”

“What would you need all that room for?” Billy asked and grinned at you as he looked you up and down.

You innocently kicked with your feet. “Maybe I just want to make sure there’s enough legroom?” You said with a smile. You let your gaze wander down his thighs and further down to his legs. “Your legs are pretty long, so the more room the better.”

Billy looked at you for a long moment before he twisted his body to face you completely. “What’s your deal?” he asked. He placed one hand on the couch, right where you leaned your head and the other between his and your thighs. “Are you down to fuck or not?”

“Is that a demand?” You asked, reaching out and swiping a few strands of his golden blond hair away from his face. “Because I won’t let myself be pushed around.”

His expression softened into one of surprise. One of his hands darted up to touch the part of your face where your fingers had brushed against his skin. “What the hell is your problem?” he asked. “Why are you being so nice to me if you don’t want to fuck me?”

“Why are you being so nice to me and not fucking me?” You countered. “And for the record, I’ve never said I don’t want to.”

His brows sank together into a confused frown. “Are you trying to make fun of me? You want me to make the first move? Hey, don’t look at me like that,” he hissed. “This isn’t funny.”

Laughing you leaned forward until your head was leaned on his shoulder. “This is hilarious. You’re so dense,” you said grabbing his hand in yours and guiding it to wrap around you. “You don’t know the first thing about affection. If you think being treated nicely comes with a price…” You moved to straddle him. “Then I’m about to prove you so wrong.”

Billy’s confusion only seemed to grow deeper. You could practically see the cogs of his mind turning as he tried to figure you out. “What’s your game?”

“I don’t want to play games, Billy,” you said. “Feelings are not meant to be played with.”

“Can you speak plainly for once?” He grunted. 

You put your hands on his cheeks, running your thumbs over his cheekbones and down over his plush lips. “I like you, Billy. Sure, you’re hot as shit and I literally want to rip your clothes off every time I see you… but you're also the most emotionally constipated guy I've ever met in my entire life."

Billy watched you quietly as you spoke. His hands drifted slowly to your hips. "So?" His brows sank deeper down onto his forehead. He didn’t understand what you meant. Sure, feelings were required for a relationship, but what you had was nice enough. Bringing feelings into it would just make it more complicated when one of you decided that you’d have enough… right?

“So?” You echoed. “You don’t see even a little bit of an issue here?”

“I’m not some charity case if that’s what you’re looking for,” he said. “I’m not a project. I’m not something you can fix.”

You shook your head. “I didn’t say that you were.” It was difficult to watch him so put off by affection. “There’s nothing wrong with you. You don’t need fixing.”

“Then what is it that you want?” He asked. His fingers dug into the flesh of your thighs. “If you don’t want to sleep with me, what is it that you want?”

A sigh left you. “I don’t want you to use me and then leave once it’s over,” you confessed. “I want you to stick around for a long time, not just a good time.”

“What makes you think I want that?” He asked and you could tell that he regretted those words as soon as he said them. He gulped before he swiftly lifted you off him and got up. “I need to go,” he said. “Just forget it.”

“Billy,” you sighed, getting up and following him as he walked towards the door. 

He put his long legs to use, striding back out into the hallway where he pulled the door open and stepped outside. 

“Billy,” you called again, stopping on the doorstep as you watched him hurry back to his car. It was too late. He’d made up his mind and you had to admit defeat. “Drive safely,” you told him as he yanked the car door open and got in.

Billy finally looked at you when he sat in the driver’s seat. His gaze stayed on you for a long moment before he started the car and drove off.

LMAO Clay I shit you not I was in the middle of writing an ask to *you* saying, first of all, no worries at all about the fucky tumblr tags haha this is the hellsite and I read that tag as sarcasm anyways so dw dw lol I know you're not like that haha 🫂.

And second of all, that I was nodding very emphatically reading your tags yeah I'm also quite conflicted- increasingly so frankly, and I can relate to your description of being *so* sad from it that it kind of falls flat? As for like, whether I find it satisfying from a narrative standpoint or not, *honestly* as more time passes the more I can feel my own opinions going from positive to... Mixed? I agree that the Swifts deserved more time, period (absolutely) and that there was so much left unexplored... And that it would have felt more satisfying if we got more with them...

Hm. With the interaction as it was, I honestly think I would have liked it much more if it happened like, midway through the season? Giving Nicky enough time to step up and really prove himself to Taylor? Though of course we return then to the issue of that family not having enough time in general!

Conversely... I think I could have been happier with Taylor's decision happening at the end here and simultaneously been *less* uh absolutely heartbroken if it had been delivered differently like, tonally? I suppose I feel like... Combining all of their previous interactions prior over the course of the season, the complications surrounding Nicky's abandoment to begin with (listen could my man have sent a letter now and again abso-fucking-lutely but bro also had all his friends turn against him and was tortured by the FBI who he didn't want hurting his family like it's not so black and white at all), and maybe most of all the fact that Nicky genuinely *was* trying to be there for Taylor post-reuiniting in Hell... Combining all those things, it's not that I think Taylor is wrong to decide still that his dad wasn't there for him before so he doesn't want him now, as sad as that is I think it's still very understandable and certainly *interesting*, but the *cruelty* in how he delivered that blow is what came as a bit of a shocker to me and just doesn't feel good to me with. Well with all those other things I mentioned. Again, that's if we're keeping this interaction at the very end here, having Taylor chew out his dad the way he did way earlier could have been great.

Reader has 9 tails, however has not mastered her powers. Her family, the kitsune guardians and one of the few kitsunes that can transform into human, her family died due to protecting the enchanted forest where she, the reader resides, and now, reader is now the guardian of her forest and ancestors, if she has any left. Most Umi Kitsunes can be found in reader's forest, reader's forest is an extremely big forest. However, Umi Kitsunes are almost extinct due to some unknown reasons, reader, is still investigating. ( will be posting an prologue, so this series will have a masterlist ! )

age : reader has no specific age, however she is thousands of years old, so dw ab her being a minor !!

powers : reader can create illusions, because of this, when she is in danger she summons illusions and flee the scene safely. She also uses this to protect people ( ykwim, the guys n gals. ) She can also posses peoples or kitsunes minds, although she hasn't fully mastered this, she does try and test it with her other kitsune friends ( that can't turn into human )

mask : in combat, the mask will look a little like this or this ( u pick ! u imagine what u want <3 I picked the second mask bcs it looks / has the colour scheme of Xiao ! Xiao's one of my favs hehe )

likes : reader likes rice cakes ( according to google kitsunes like anything rice related ) and onigiri !

clothing : readers dress / outfit looks a little like this ! or you can imagine Yae Miko's clothing on reader, the skirt is js a little more covered. :) this is an example !

scaryish fact : yk how I mentioned reader hasn't mastered her powers yet ? Yeah, she unknowingly kills, she had killed foxes that are stepping in her forest, or maybe even kitsunes. However if you think about it, reader might be the cause of extinction of the Umi kitsunes ? Wrong. There's a different killer, and reader is aware, and due to this, reader's mind has one goal, "kill the killer." Her mind is focused on one task, and that is to kill, how does she kill ? Take Layla as an example, she "sleep walks", but she's wide awake, she just not in her right mind. There are only times when this happens, rather, when the killer decides to attack.

I want people to at least acknowledge that their first thoughts about him ARE/were transphobic. I hate it SO much when I see people disappointed to find out a gnc character is a girl and not a cute twink. It's even worse when they turn to trans hcs. Like fuck off, you might as well just say you'll never see them as the gender they Are.

And let me get to a very personal part, so excuse me for being stupidly angry about this: I rly dislike tboy bottom Kabru, which... is unfortunately loved by most of the english speaking fandom. Are you named after anyone?

Quil — Initially he was, yes, but when he picked his own name, Quilin, he took it from a proverb in the old version of his language. Not many know this, though, because he now thinks it's too dramatic and prefers to just be called Quil by those close to him lol

Endra — No, although a fun note about his name: it's such an old one that it's barely in use anymore and has historically been typically given to girls, so how his mother picked it is a bit of a mystery...

2. When was the last time you cried?

Quil — Uh. Uh. I think. Literally five minutes ago? He cries very rarely but he's going through something right now, so

Endra — Despite him being the one prone to crying, it's been a while... I don't know, two years maybe?? (that's gonna change soon though dw)

3. Do you have kids?

Neither do!

4. Do you use sarcasm?

Quil — Yes definitely, although only when he's around people he's comfortable with. Otherwise, he's very polite and nice :)

Endra — Also yes, but in a very playful manner :) Although it can still be taken negatively :( No one gets him

5. What's the first thing you notice about people?

Quil — Signs of their social status and/or culture, so clothing styles, how they hold themselves, their speaking mannerisms, etc. Just anything that gives away where they're from and what their standing in society is. He's never impolite, but he does adjust his behavior a bit accordingly

Endra — their emotionality? Like, what mood they seem to be in. Do they seem happy or upset or tired, helps him figure out how to best approach them (depending on what his end goals are...)

6. What's your eye colour?

Quil's is dark mint, and Endra's a very dark brown where you can barely tell where the pupil ends

7. Scary movies or happy endings?

Quil — hm considering his favorite fiction genre is fairytales that often go in fucked ways... I'd say scary movies yeah, he'd be fascinated by them (if they existed lol)

Endra — also scary movies but in a different way! He just. enjoys being scared. it's a thing don't think too much about it

8. Any special talents?

Quil — ahm he's got an affinity for languages, if that counts? There are 8 major languages in the continent, some with many dialects, some having old versions, too, and there's only 1 he's not able to speak yet due to there literally being. extremely little resources on it. It's a very remote country and not much literature leaves it x)

Endra — he can climb trees very well. In general he's pretty agile and flexible. anyways

9. Where were you born?

Quil was born in Ethelen, Merridie, and Endra in some obscure village in Edkava. This tells you practically nothing but there you go

10. What are your hobbies?

Quil — Reading with a capital R. that's what he does the majority of his time lmao nerd. he prefers nonfiction but he won't say no to an interesting fiction novel, either. he also enjoys a bit of foraging and gardening :) as well as engaging in life-threatening medical practices :) anyways

Endra — he likes to play the piano! and draw! and he's recently got an interest in cooking! in general he's a pretty artistic guy :)

11. Have you any pets?

Quil — No :( He doesn't like animals that much :((

Endra — Yes :) a kitty named Zucchini :))

12. What sports do you play/have you played?

Quil — if we're talking about his early years... does sleeping around count as sport

Endra — eh not really? Besides some outdoor games that count be counted as sport, at least. He's pretty impartial to sports tbh

13. How tall are you?

Quil is 169 cm (5'6 ft?? I think?), and Endra 180 cm (5'11 ft)

14. Favourite subject in school?

Quil — well, obviously he was most drawn to all subjects related to magic, but his favorite would probably be The Fundamentals of Magia, which delved more into the physicality of the element. Besides magic stuff, he also really liked Language and Literature :)

Endra — oh he hated school with a passion lol. He chronically engaged in truancy and held no love for anything that had to do with school. but if he had to choose what he tolerated the most... it'd probably be Music as it was what could actually understand? so yeah he might have kinda liked that one a little bit

15. Dream job?

Quil — a teacher :)) guy loves teaching with a passion. it's been his dream for a long while but y'know how life can go...

Endra — ahmmmm a housewife. honestly I don't think I'm kidding. god knows he could not be tied down to an Actual job, and he actually likes fussing around the house, cooking, cleaning, just making sure it's all homely and nice, and I think he would really like staying home to raise children, too. mayyyybe on the side he could do some freelance art or music stuff, but that's it lol
