Rea's abilities were always extraordinary compared to his kind but after genetic modifications they became truly unique. Also deadly :)

They're a living voodoo doll, as long as they have at least a drop of someone's blood, they can transfer their wounds (even tge fatal ones) to this person (they can also transfer this person's wounds to themselves but they rarely do it)

Genetic modifications weren't consensual btw. They were done by a group of ipc researchers and then original goal of the project was harmless. But then the lead researcher was changed to Dottore wannabe and the gory nightmare began

The IPC didn't know about it and never checked on the project much. When Rea eventually killed everyone and run away, the truth came up, and the IPC realized how badly they've fucked up. In order to save some face, they've severely downplayed the issue, put all the blame on the research team and publicly apologized for allowing this tragedy to happen

Oh and they've announced Rea dead too. So now catching them is their priority since they're trying so hard to erase their connection to the IPC

Like it's a huuuuge secret that they are directly connected to the ipc

Andy himself became an intergalactic terrorist with only one goal: to creat as many troubles for the ipc as possible. In fact, the first time he met Aven (the first time they remember at least), he fucked over his deal

The only thing keeping them going was hatred, to the point where they've mindset was practically "as long as I can keep destroying things I hate, I'm alive. As long as I'm able to feel hatred, I exist".

At one point Nanook has turned their gaze on them. Later, when they've joined the Stellaron hunters, Elio reveals to them that their destiny was to became an emanator of destruction. They were lowkey upset they ended up settling for the Stellaron hunters instead lol

They have very shitty memory. Part of this is a trauma response but there's also the fact that they constantly shoot themselves in the head to transfer the injury to their opponent. They regenerate immediately (an important note, they would only regenerate if their voodoo doll mode is activated) but their brain still gets damaged to a degree.

They're immature in a lot of ways. While certainly smart and creative, they're impatient, whiny, a bit of an airhead. They appear bubbly and playful at the first sight, can easily hide their unstable physiological state. May appear nihilistic since they trust Elio so blindly.

Lowkey very attached to the Stellaron hunters but they don't like to admit it. A type of person who would be mistyped as ENTP due to their vibes.

VERY THEATRICAL also prone to escapism.

Levity Creek

a Gravity Falls AU no one needs

Lazy as shit name, but what do I care? I'm basically creating self-insert fanfiction, brother. My shame and imagination for names left a long time ago.

I've never paid attention to AUs (hell, never had an interest in making one til now), so I won't be surprised if this is similar to something that exists already. I'll be using my personal headcanons, though. There's an ongoing tag for that.

Anyway, we've got the very rough basics here for where the AU diverges from canon:

Ford and Stan "reconcile" about a month before the portal is tested, but it's still a tad rocky. Ford's still kind of riding his ego, and Stan's still feeling that burn of getting booted.

Stan stays in Gravity Falls, but not at the shack just yet.

Stan convinces Fiddleford to help his brother out after the fallout with the portal.

Fiddleford still makes the memory gun, and uses it on himself, but also uses it on Ford to make him forget how to portal works. (Naturally, this doesn't bar him from remembering Bill or the journals, and it doesn't take away the knowledge Bill already has of the way the portal works.)

It takes time, but Ford comes clean about the Bill situation; like, he still reaches that peak of paranoia for a hot minute before he finally breaks and tells Stan. 'Cause wow, that causes a lot of tension on top of what exists.

Ford elects not to forget about Bill when prompted with the memory gun. He wants to be aware so he can effectively guard himself and others from Bill, though he's not confident that Bill doesn't already have the upper hand.

The journals aren't hidden, but the pages containing information about the portal have been torn out and effectively burned. Much to Ford's continued exasperation, but he accepts it begrudgingly.

Fiddleford doesn't continue to use the memory gun on himself, but keeps it for the sole purpose of damage control. He does reside in Gravity Falls (home base, if you will), but elects to travel to continue his hobbies and work (which end up being pretty successful! he deserves that!)

He also introduces Daphne to the AU; an old friend of his from back home that has similar interests and skills. Her character's yet to be fully fleshed out, but if you haven't caught on, she's the unremarkable self-insert.

She makes a trip up to Gravity Falls to visit, but also to drop Tate off to be with his dad for a while. Daphne lowkey hates it in Gravity Falls, but stays for a brief period to work with Fiddleford. She doesn't meet either of the twins in this period of time because Fiddleford doesn't want to subject her to that shitshow.

The only reason she comes back after leaving is because Tate stows away in her van. On the way back into Gravity Falls, they're caught up in Ford's Shenanigans™. He's busy chasing after a creature, which effectively totals the van by running head first into it in its attempt to flee.

This van will be a staple of getting absolutely wrecked time and time again. A mere reflection of Daphne's sanity, or soon to be, lack thereof.

And that's about where I am so far! Gonna double back and scout out the timeline / canon a bit more to sharpen up on the lore again. Wanna make sure everything is relatively accurate enough for it to be inaccurate. I cannot believe I'm sharing this, I feel like an absolute dunce.

Takemi has this fire, this energy inside of her that is well represented by heat ! Also she's a warm and loving person !!

She has a lot of emotions and is very expressive and just like a star, she can burn very bright and be either very hot and very cold !!

Takemi is often associated to the stars, by Luffy but also by people who meet her !!

Plus, her emotions are linked to her temperature !! Joy and anger trigger heat and sadness triggers cold !!

Her challenge is to learn to control these amazing abilities that she has and develop the full potential of her powers !!!

Hi yes hello I just wanted to drop by and say I am SO excited for this series I only know bits and bobs of severance lore but I'm looking forward to uncovering the mysteries alongside the tma crew!!!

Thoughts and LONG ramble under the cut! (includes spoilers!!!)

A while ago (like last week maybe?) I realized that I've been following this comic for almost a year, and I still haven't drawn Mysta yet! I figured that with the recent end of Chapter 3 and that *huge* lore drop (I was NOT expecting that oh my goodness the theory wheels are turning in the void that is my brain) now would be a pretty good time to draw her! So that's where this came from! :D

I thought that it would be fun to draw Mysta looking sort of like a knight? Partially because it makes for cool posing and composition but also because I think that if she was in D&D she would be a paladin due to the whole "Hero sent by Destiny" thing (I considered sorcerer or warlock as well, but her moveset is mostly melee at the moment so I thought that paladin fits better. Plus this opens up the possibility of Gendaen being an Oathbreaker paladin, depending on how that whole situation with the Crimson went. (also now I kind of want to put the main cast of mtq in D&D even though I don't actually know a lot about D&D ToT. I think Eth would be a ranger maybe multiclassed into something magic-related, because rangers have a favored enemy mechanic that gives them advantages on fighting a certain type of enemy, which could be Crimson enemies for D&D Eth. Yele is (kind of obviously) a druid because of the whole dryad thing, and Zaïl is definitely giving rogue energy to me.)) Anyways, D&D-related sidetrack aside – hello??? End-of-chapter-3 lore drop? (/positive) I have SO many questions. First of all, what happened to convince Gendaen to switch sides? For someone who allegedly spent his entire life trying to cleanse the Crimson, it would've taken one heck of a worldview-upending revelation to get him to join it. With the information we currently have, it seems pretty clear that Gendaen isn't mind-controlled or corrupted or anything – not just because of the reasons Eth gave in page #169, but also because from all the interactions we've had with Nelun Soma'o/Gendaen, he seemed to be pretty chill? I pointed out in my first fan art post that it doesn't seem as if Nelun Soma'o is being built up to be a villain character and is instead more of an antagonist with a slight mentor role, and I think that still kind of holds up now. Gendaen definitely wants Mysta to help him and/or the Crimson with something, and as Yele said in that recent comic, things aren't really adding up. I'm still slightly suspicious of the Order of Learning as well (insert person pointing at conspiracy theory board meme here lol), since you would think that if Gendaen and Eth are really close then Gendaen might have told Eth about the whole Crimson situation, right? On Page #250 (which is marked as 150??? probably a typo but idk) Gendaen says that he didn't want Eth to be roped into this whole situation, which could be a reason for keeping him in the dark – though if he knew Eth really well then he might have suspected that Eth wouldn't just let him disappear and would go searching for him. Another possible reason (in my theory) if the Order is evil or something and Gendaen learned something that he shouldn't have learned, maybe he knew that Eth wouldn't believe him because of his loyalty to the Order? I may just be connecting random dots and calling it a picture here but *something* is going on and until we get more clues on what that may be, I'm sticking with this theory lol :P EDIT, I was rereading Gendaen's character sheet and it says there that he has a strong code of honor and fights for the underdogs (not the exact phrasing but it's close). 👀 does that mean the Crimson is in some sort of underdog position? 👀

Anyways back to the drawing a little, I gave both Gendaen and Mysta a sort of braid-like element in their designs to sort of tie them together a bit visually (Mysta's is on the sides of her head, which is kind of hard to see so I added a little ribbon to show that parts of her hair is tied back, and Gendaen's is in his golden hair accessory thingy). I think that there's definitely some sort of correlation between Gendaen's disappearance/switching to the Crimson and Mysta being sent to Sol Ybberia, and I also think that both of them are going to play an important role in whatever happens in the future, hence the braids (to show that their destinies are kind of intertwined, as the two Heroes of Sol Ybberia). I also thought that it would be fun to put Gendaen in a stained glass window instead of actually physically being present, because up until the Nelun Soma'o reveal, all the things we know about Gendaen are basically all from Eth's recollections of him, which for me definitely paints a bit of a "Character haunting the narrative" kind of vibe. I also think that with the Nelun Soma'o reveal, the somewhat glorified (for a lack of a better word – I think Eth might be a little biased when it comes to Gendaen, considering that Gendaen has been missing for about 5 years, if my math is correct? 5 years feels like a long time to me and I think that if a person important to me has been missing for that long then my impression of them would definitely start warping to how I want to remember them/who I wanted them to be and I might start unintentionally ignoring the things that doesn't quite match that image in my head. Speaking of/case in point, Eth's reaction to the Nelun Soma'o reveal!) image of Gendaen that we had got thrown in a metaphorical blender with our idea of the Crimson at the time, and it just makes things a whole lot more complicated in a very interesting way. (If you look at the bottom right of the image you can see Nelun Soma'o's cloak coming out of stained-glass Gendaen's cloak, which I thought would be a fun little detail to include). Hence, the stained glass is kind of the "perfect Hero who disappeared to advance the plot" Gendaen and we can see Mysta kind of splitting the glass with her Rotted Fork from a composition point of view, referencing that huge lore bomb she dropped a couple of pages ago and how that changes our (or at least my) perception of Gendaen as a character entirely. I really do like the plot twist, as I think it makes Gendaen a more 3-dimensional character with more complicated motivations and narrative significance, as before I mainly knew him as "predecessor to Mysta" and "one of Eth's sources of motivation", but now he my understanding of Gendaen also extends to things about Gendaen himself and not just about his role in relation to other characters (for example, "Gendaen is helping the Crimson for reasons currently unknown" or "Gendaen is planning something that involves Mysta??? and he's in the Void??? And apparently Mysta is supposed to jailbreak him out at some point in the future?" He definitely has something planned behind the scenes, I don't know what it is and I want to find out).

MORE THINGS about Gendaen (can you tell that he's my favorite character at the moment ToT), what's up with those last words? If I'm correct (and I think I am, I scrolled all the way back to the page where the gods were introduced just to check this ToT), Nomù is Compassion? How is compassion related to Gendaen's alliance with the Crimson? I mean, when you think of the Crimson, compassion definitely is NOT the first value that comes to mind. Right now it seems that to me, Gendaen's plan with Mysta and the Crimson and the Void is connected to Nomù somehow? (the "I won't disappoint you" is definitely interesting). I don't have a lot of thoughts or theories on where this might be going, I just thought that it was something interesting to metaphorically chew on for the next while. It definitely seems like it has some sort of narrative significance, at least.

There might be more things that I wanted to talk about, but I can't really think of them off the top of my head right now (it might be due to the fact that it's currently quite late in my time zone ToT I am sleepy) so that's all from me for now :D (Also dropping the version of the drawing with just the lineart here because I think it looks really cool)

K - How do you feel about the other people in your current fandom?

So I consider myself to currently be in two fandoms, Silm fandom and The Clone Wars/Bad Batch fandoms.

Silm fandom: I've either been particularly fortunate in my time here or I've curated my tumblr immaculately, but my impression of my corner of the Silm fandom is that it's full of very calm and relaxed people who really love lore deep dives and really enjoy sharing their areas of expertise and how they can relate to the Silm (like people who are into metal work, linguistics, mythology etc. etc.). I know I frequently just share light hearted things, but I really love just how academic this fandom can get

I also love how much crafts are appreciated as fan works and not just fan fics and drawn fan art. Like we have so many textile artists and book binders and jewellers etc. in this fandom and they get so much interaction because who doesn't love to see a real-life Noldo, you know??

It's not all been sunshine and rainbows. I know people who've had awful experiences in the fandom. In my own experience, I've come across people who judge people for shipping things they ship themselves because of course only they are doing things the right way. Like I once came across an angbang shipper that said women shouldn't ship it because it was clearly a fetish thing when they did it??? Like sir, put the misogyny down! I even once had someone get so mad that my url appeared in their recommendations that they felt the need to dm me and tell me I shouldn't exist (something something, satanism in 'the professor's' work).

All in all though, I've found myself a nice corner where you can ship what you want and create deeply fucked up fan works where you ask "how can I make this worse" and you'll be joined by fellow sickos going "yes! yeeeeeeessssss!".

The Clone Wars/Bad Batch: I'm fairly new here so I don't feel I have as much insight. I had been in Star Wars fandom before (yeeeeears ago) and always found The Clone Wars to be one of the calmer sections of a dumpster fire of a fandom (as we all know, no one hates Star Wars like a Star Wars fan). I would say I feel less comfortable here than in the Silm fandom, but I think I just haven't had sufficient time to establish my sicko circle to the same degree yet XD I find that generally people don't revel in "how do I make it worse?" which is like my favourite thing in fan works. People get a lot more upset at character death than I'm used to, to the point where it almost seems like a bit of a sore point... And I'm just like, it's a war, I would be disappointed is characters didn't die because then there'd never be any consequences. I'm just over here quietly killing off more characters with hammers in my head XD I don't know, I just feel like my feelings towards the shows and what fanworks I'd like to see don't quite match what seems to be common in the fandom on Tumblr.

Oh! And did you know that there's a degree of taboo against shipping the Clones?? They're so rediculously shippable. Anyway, I ship Clones. I think they should be part of the long tradition of stories of men serving in the military together with a devotion that boarders on (or is blatantly) homoerotic.

There's also way more x reader fic around than what I'm used to and I find much of it sooooo uncomfortably traditional gender role-y, but it's wish fulfillment and clearly my wishes are not these people's wishes. Like, there's one character in Bad Batch that's very smart and all the insert fic is like "he uses such big words that my tiny inferior brain couldn't possibly understand but he's so patient with me anyway" and I'm a woman who works in r&d so I want to drop kick the screen when I see this. But like I said, not my wish, not my fulfillment. I just find it odd it's so popular. (Yes I do keep reading it, no I don't know why. Someone please stop me).

Overall though, I haven't had a bad experience, but I don't feel like I quite fit either... That being said, I've had some fun convos with people about Tech being autistic, so maybe I just need to post and interact a bit more and I'll feel more at home like I do with the Silm. Like, I'm a little unfair to TCW/BB here because I'm compairing a few months to something like 6 or 7 years.

I'm actually not a huge shipper. I don't ship in most things. I'm very fussy about romance in fiction. I very rarely go anywhere near anything that's canon or hinted at in canon (esp. het). I dunno, romance in fiction can give me the ick really easily.

The campaign starts is like split into three main arcs, if it was a story;

Arc 1; The time the groups were separated • Getting used to the game, some small quests, and at the peak of the arc, when the two groups found out about each others existencr and finding each other.

Arc 2; The time the group adventured together • Backstories, character motives, have their own chaarcter arcs and the introduction to the BBEG

Arc 3; Where they try to defeat the BBEG • The group works tries to work with each other, learn more about each other, and try and defeat the BBEG

First though, yes, i do have names for the player characters. I just haven't written it down yet, if anyone wants to know em, just say and i'll put it in a different post lol.

Nini's character, as a warlock have a patron god, and since her patron god is the "Great Old One" and after reading a bit about the GOO's description, I decided that instead of making up a diety like for Clemont's character, i made her patron god the fucking Dungeon Master. Aka, Trevor.

Korrina and Alain's characters would have a massive falling out because of both of their classes (a beast slayer ranger, and a beast barbarian)

Yes, Trevor's insert NPC does have relevance to the story. No, they aren't the BBEG.

Diantha's character is a royal.

Sawyer'a character never stopped being a Wild Magic Sorcerer, instead, he learnt how to use the wild magic to his advantage.

No, not every character survives in the fight with the BBEG.

Me & Babe

Me and a good friend of mine put aside cringe and made genshin oc/self inserts. Well, it was mostly that I wanted to do it and I asked if he would also want to join.

I have some lore drops for them, but I figure most are here for the art anyhow, so I'll leave the ramblings down below

The smaller research student you see is my character, I haven't come up with a good vision yet, but I have most of the backstory properly set up. At first I was worried that maybe it'd be a little too marysue ish, but realized it's not such a big deal anyhow and I like having goofy details that seem a bit cringe.

I had an idea where they're a far relative of the Kheadahra clan and despise their history and ties to Inazuma/the clan, and long for the world outside of the island nation. Once he gets out they decide to fully pursue their true passion in the arts by enrolling in the akidemiya. But this was before the traveler got there, so the sages were very harsh on those kind of subjects at the time. Which leads them to end up choosing to major in history.

Yadda yadda their class goes on a trip to the desert and hires mercenaries to protect the group. Low and behold, one mercenary in particular ends up becoming quite close with the poor research student. I had another idea where they go "missing", missing in the context of purposefully hiding away from the matra. I'll work on it more later, since I don't believe I have their story finished yet.

The other character is my friend, and while initially he wasn't going to have a too complex of a background. But I started watching WAY too much Roosevelt and holy cow dude, now I have much more crap to work with. I just thought this version was more interesting then the last.

So he's actually, if you could've already guessed, a descendent of the Crimson Moon dynasty. As of now we only have a single character in game that is associated/related to them so I incorporated just a small part of her design into his. However, the biggest twist with him is he has no recollection of the past he used to live, as he "died" a long while ago before picking up his life in Fontaine. I'm still going over the idea of possibly seeing whether or not it'd be feasible to have him grow up there or instead just 'spawn' in.

Rather I'm more focused on the later where he'll have to grapple with the memories of the 500 years before and the present life he's living.

because i like playing around with fanon ideas & original clans, but also want an s/i that could fit in the canon books, i've got !! two !!! beasties in mind.

canon-complacent guy would either be Shadowclan or Windclan, a white & black cat called Birchmoth. probably a warrior, but would [unofficially] be primarily a hunter. i like the idea of him being Shadowclan, but possibly like.. roughly first journey-era, or maybe power of three. oh god i have to decide what arc-era i'd primarily put him in. help. i don't know if i have any canon character(s) i ship him with, as it's been a reaallllyyy long time since i read warriors- tbh he's probably just going to be a self-insert with no ship, because i'm a cool & based aromatic king like that.

the go crazy go stupid fanon guy is called Dragonfly !! they have a suffix-prefix name as well, Dragonfly is just their "common" name amongst friends/loved ones. i haven't fully decided on it yet, so. poses cutely. they're part of a traveling colony, who moves camps as the seasons change, so they get to interact with a bunch of different groups. i kind of see them as like.. almost a merchant guild/collective, as they'd trade with the various groups they meet. this is also a huge excuse for them to be able to meet with any faction i want, be them canon or original !!

they. don't have a design, as of yet. i'm kind of thinking dark blue... classic or sokoke tabby?? maybe???? idk yet, they're still very fuzzy in my mind's eye.

i've been avoiding it, but. i should make a warrior cats s/i. because i can never escape.
