Premise--

I’m encouraging as informal and low stress/pressure of an atmosphere as possible here. Back in The Day when LiveJournal Kink Memes were common, it was very typical to see a prompt put up and filled within an hour. It doesn’t have to be polished, it doesn’t have to make logistical sense, it just has to fill the prompt as best as you can, sexily! It’s supposed to be fun. A bunch of fun, raunchy kink and smut to roll around in as a fandom. 🥳 🥳

So yeah, first thing to expect, it’s basically ALL PWP (porn without plot). Not to say that someone can’t write a full plot epic if they like, do whatever you like, but in my experience, a 4am fugue state smut fill written in a sweaty haze is kind of, the spirit of the thing. We’re creating ficlets, snapshots, tasty treats of smut with as little pressure to make it in any way polished as possible. Please think of this as, hmmm, a little fun writing exercise you do before you go back to your Big Serious Work, if that helps. We are letting loose, we are having fun, we are being deliciously, joyously, unrepentantly filthy with it! The tagline for the event is: “Get High, Jerk Off Three Times, and Write Me a Warmup :DD”

Logistics--

For prompts-- you may submit ANON ASK PROMPTS to this blog. I will publish them with a number and a link to the collection. If you like one of the prompts, simply post it through the collection with its corresponding number and then that AO3 link to your fill will be reblogged underneath the original ask prompt. It is helpful when submitting a prompt to give details that are important to you, and the prompt filler will do their best with it. <3 So, I suggest giving a ship specification up front, maybe a vague timeline (season 1, season 2, etc), and then the kinks you want to see with a short description.

For fills-- There is NO CLAIMING PROCESS NECESSARY! If you see a prompt that strikes your fancy, you are IMMEDIATLEY encouraged and free to fill it, there is NO LIMIT ON FILLS for each prompt!

Both prompt submissions and fills will be open simultaneously through the entire span of the event.

The entire collection is marked Anonymous, which means any work submitted to it will be posted Anon. There is no option you need to worry about checking to guarantee this.

After the event is closed, if you want to then de-anon your work, that is your prerogative. However, it will mean you must remove the work from the collection, as the collection itself will forever and always remain anonymous.

RULES FOR PARTICIPATING:  - Must join our Discord for communication - Must tag your recipient in the eventual post  - Must tag this blog in your post so we can keep track of gifts - DM a mod ASAP if you don’t think you’ll get your gift out on time or at all, or you want to withdraw - Must check in at the half-way mark to make sure everything is on-track. -Must request and offer to create around a minimum of three characters. -Any under-18 persons found requesting or offering NSFW content will be banned from this and all future iterations of the exchange. -Because of Tumblr, Ao3 and Discord TOS, you must be 13 to participate.

FAQ:

-I changed my mind about my gift list, I want to add something, what do I do? You can re-do your entry and we will delete the earlier version of any duplicate entries, or you send us an ask (off anon if you want an answer back) to change something (only minor changes using this method, please).

-Is there an Ao3 collection? I want to add my fic to it. There will be! It will be released once assignments are sent out.

-I added my fic to the Ao3 collection, but I can’t see it? The collection is currently set to ‘unrevealed’, so works can be added but won’t be visible before reveal day, so it’s all a surprise.

-I need to contact my recipient, but they have anon off! What do I do? Talk to us, we’ll contact them for you.

- I didn’t save my assignment message and now I’ve forgotten my assignment, what now? Get in contact with us, we’ll resend it. 

-I can’t finish my gift by the deadline, what do I do? You have two options. Option one is to consider if you can still finish it by a couple days or a week or so later, and ask the mods if you can get an extension. We will check with your recipient to see if it’s okay to extend your deadline. Option two is to drop entirely, in which case you tell a mod, and we will assign your gift to a pinch-hitter so your recipient still gets something. In both cases, the important thing is that you get in contact with a mod ( @antimony-medusa is head mod) as soon as possible to figure out a plan.

-If I want to make more than one gift, can I? You can make as many gifts as you'd like! If you really enjoy making gifts, we suggest signing up as a Pinch Hitter in the discord

-I don't celebrate Christmas, can I sign up? This exchange welcomes all holidays (even a complete lack of holidays), and people will have an opportunity to opt in to what events they want represented in their gift, whether that's real-world holidays, imaginary minecraft events, or no holidays at all.

-I'm only a fan of a small server, can I sign up? You are very welcome to sign up even if your fandom doesn't have the most active tag, this is a broad MCYT exchange. We will do our best to match you with someone else who also likes your block people. If your fandom has less than a thousand fics on the archive, we recommend that you try and recruit friends into the exchange too, so you know that there are people who like the same characters as you in the matching pool. We can't absolutely promise to match on smaller characters, but we have run this exchange twice and we haven't had anyone be entirely unmatchable yet, so fingers crossed that continues.

-Is RPF allowed? While MCYT is in a fuzzy space while we're often close to RPF and many of our older works are still tagged with Video Blogging RPF, this is a character-focused exchange. You will not be able to request or offer direct RPF for this exchange.

-Is shipping allowed? Yes. For the comfort of the greatest number of participants, we ask that participants make a good-faith effort to ensure that any shipping is boundary-respecting, but because there is no broad fandom-wide consensus about how that is defined in specific cases (whether it's okay to write beeduo as /r or /p is an obvious case) or between specific fandoms (lifesteal approach to shipping is different from HBG is different from DSMP), the mods will not be policing any specific understanding of boundaries across the event. The event will operate on Don't Like Don't Read, in that everyone will have the chance to opt in for themselves as to if they are comfortable with shipping or NSFW for each specific character they want to work with, and mods will match based on that.

-Is NSFW allowed? Yes, NSFW is permitted as long as it respects creator boundaries, and both sides of the gift exchange are 18+. People will only be matched to others who specifically requested NSFW work. For the comfort of the greatest number of people in the exchange and the mod team, nothing that would warrant the tags Underage, Rape/Noncon, Dubcon, Adult/Minor, or Incest is permitted.

-My person requested characters I don't want to write, and one of them is a ship I don't like. What do I do? You are only expected to create a gift for the characters you matched on. If you offered to create for Grian (shipping allowed), Good times with Scar (shipping allowed) and Docm77 (only gen), and you matched to someone requesting Grian (shipping allowed), Docm77 (shipping allowed) and Keralis (only gen), you are only expected to make a gift with the characters and relationships you matched on, in this case, Grian. If you are entirely uncomfortable with your match, you can tell a mod, and we can take it off your hands and get it pinch-hit. You will still receive a gift.

-If noncon isn't permitted, is non-consentual touching (platonic) allowed? As technically a punch in the face counts as non-consensual touching, and pvp is a classic part of most MCYT canons, we find banning all nonconsensual contact to be unnecessarily restrictive. As long as nonconsensual contact is not sexual in nature, it is permitted, however, it must be tagged for adequately along with any other potentially triggering content.

-Do you allow dark or violent content? Yes. The lore of many mcyt servers includes death games, abuse, cannibalism, murder-for-hire, and other dark or violent themes. However, all potentially triggering content must be tagged for so readers and giftees can make an informed choice to get infolved or not. We would recommend that you not include particularly dark topics unless requested to by your giftee.

-What is a Pinch Hitter? A pinch hitter is a person who saves the day and steps in when the original creator is unable to deliver their work for whatever reason, making a new work on an accelerated timeline. You can sign up to be a Pinch Hitter in the discord.

-What is a DNW? All participants will have the opportunity to fill out a DNW, which stands for Do Not Want. This is anything that has the potential to ruin a gift for you. DNWs must be phrased politely, (so no "No foster aus because they suck and you suck if you like them"), and they must be reasonable, (so no attempting to box someone into a specific gift, i.e. "DNW anything that isn't a space au where Tommy is a dinosaur-hybrid and Tubbo is a ghost bee and they rampage through the living ship named Las Nevadas"), but they can be as petty (disliking specific art styles) or as broad-reaching (no modern aus, no specific ships, no crossovers with specific servers) as you like. Deliberately breaking someone's DNW is grounds for a ban from the exchange.

-When do I have to join the discord? You have the option to join the dicord and hang out as soon as signup starts on October 18, and you must join the discord so we can communicate with you by November 15. Anyone not in the discord once we start matching will have their sign-ups deleted.

-Is the discord a social server? Can I expect game nights? The discord is primarily an event server, we are not going to be hosting events. We will have a directory of other social servers, if you want to take a conversation started in the discord into a more convivial space.

-What's a check-in and how do they work? Check-ins are there to make sure everyone is on track to finish their piece in time, and to communicate any issues with the mods! If you know that you won’t be able to check in on a specific date (lack of internet, etc), please contact the mods in advance.

-What if I need to drop out? It is your responsibility to communicate with us if you need to drop out of the event for any reason, and we do need that communication. We know that life is no respecter of fic and art deadlines, so no hard feelings if something happens. However, we would hate for anyone to end up having no gift, so please think about this if you are thinking of dropping out close to reveals. Please inform us in advance if you must drop out or think you will not be able to complete your gift on time. Dropping out after the last check-in without informing the mods will result in not being permitted to take part in further events run by this mod team.

I like all of the Grinch appearances, however, Jim Carrey's interpretation is my favorite. So any drawings/text posts will be mainly inspired by his. Although I do take inspo from the others, gives him more dimension. I'm also trying to get a grasp on how to draw him, so bear with me haha

Seven Snippets, Seven People Tag

Thanks for tagging me, @autumnalwalker! :D

Here are seven excerpts from The Case-Files of Seo Yo-han:

1.

His plan to spend at least an hour out on the decks received a sudden check when he turned a corner and found the hallway blocked. Four people were gathered outside a cabin door: a middle-aged woman, a young woman, a man who could be anything from thirty to fifty, and a steward. In his own words Yo-han was interested in learning about other people. In his half-brothers' words — not to mention the words of all the criminals he'd caught over the last twenty years — he was a busybody fundamentally incapable of keeping his nose out of other people's business. Either way, he stopped at once to see what was happening. The middle-aged woman was the main actor in the unfolding drama. A casual passer-by would have assumed she was a British noblewoman — a countess at the very least, to judge by her behaviour. Yo-han had always had a gift for languages and had trained himself to have a decent grasp of accents in foreign languages. He also had studied enough people of all races and from all walks of life to pick up on subtleties of body language and expression. He knew at once that this was no noblewoman. She was as common as common could be, and she knew it. She was afraid everyone else knew it too. That was why she wore five pearl necklaces. That was why her clothes were the very latest fashion, even though they didn't suit her at all. That was why she acted like she owned the ship. That was why she put on an upper-class accent. Yo-han had never seen this woman before, but he had seen a thousand copies of her. His eyes moved to the young woman. The first word that came to mind was "sharp". Everything about her was sharp: her jaw, her nose, the shape of her face, the look in her eyes. She didn't say a word. Her face was very pale and there was a wild, hunted sort of look in her eyes. Her expression was blank. Her hair was bound up in a severe bun better suited to a much older woman. Yo-han looked at her thoughtfully. He'd seen people very like this woman before. People who had been pushed to the very limits of their endurance. What would happen if she snapped? The man looked about as happy as a dental patient undergoing a root canal. His clothes were respectable but certainly not new. Yo-han spotted the ink stains on his fingers and immediately knew he was a secretary. He spared a moment to pity anyone who had to work for the middle-aged woman. Finally there was the hapless steward, who had been unable to get a word in edgewise yet. The poor man looked like he was contemplating running on deck and leaping overboard.

As soon as Ophelia was gone, Rachael opened the drawer of her bedside table. She took out the letter and read it over again. It had arrived at the hotel in Hong Kong, addressed to Király and with a postmark showing it had come from London. Rachael had seen it sitting at the desk and had no compunction about taking it with her own letters. Why should her staff care if she read their letters? If they objected it was only proof they had something to hide. She had opened the letter when she was alone. At once she recognised the handwriting. Octavia had written this. Octavia, her useless, ungrateful niece who had run away to become some sort of actress like her disreputable mother. Octavia, who had come to Langdale Manor just before Rachael left and had the audacity to inform her that she — Octavia — was thinking of getting married. In the ensuing row it had been revealed that Octavia was in fact already married and was trying to break the news gently. Rachael had not been mollified by this concern for her feelings. Especially when Octavia had refused to say which of her useless, talentless actor friends she'd married. There was no name at the top or signature at the bottom. Nor was there a date or a return address. The message was short. I must see you as soon as you get home. VERY IMPORTANT. Don't phone or write. I had a blazing row with the old hag before I left. Remember J! Heather Glenn. Rachael had held onto this letter for the last week. She was sure Király didn't know it existed, and she hadn't let Ophelia see it either. She simply didn't know what to do about it. The most likely explanation was that Octavia had come to sponge money off Rachael. When that hadn't worked she realised it was useless going to Ophelia, who had no money of her own, and instead appealed to Király. The reference to herself as "the old hag" incensed her. As soon as she got home she'd see her lawyer and have Octavia completely disinherited. But who or what was J? Rachael had tried various conjectures. A mutual friend of Octavia and Király, a place, a stage play, a license plate, even the initial of a rival company. None of them were convincing. Finally she hit on the idea of blackmail. J referenced some event or person Király wanted to remain unknown, Octavia had found out somehow, and she was using it to demand money. As for Heather Glenn — or possibly that was really Heather Glem, or even Heather Glew; Octavia's handwriting was a mess — she must be one of Octavia's actress friends. Why she was mentioned in the letter was yet another mystery.

A steward arrived a minute later with the detective in tow. Mr. Seo looked at the body and drew his breath in sharply. He let it out again with a sort of low whistle. "Well, doctor? What conclusions have you drawn?" he asked. Dr. Latimer pointed to the bullet wound. "She was shot at fairly close range with a gun. I don't know enough about guns to say what sort, but judging by the damage it was a powerful one. The bullet travelled right through her head and out the other side, taking a considerable chunk out of her skull. Death was instantaneous. Her body is still warm and only beginning to go stiff, so she was killed no more than three hours ago." Seo nodded. "What was the angle of the bullet?" "Odd. That's the only way I can describe it. The killer must have crouched down and fired upwards." Seo looked around the room. He looked at something on the wall opposite the body. His expression hardened. "I don't believe cabins usually have holes cut in their walls." "Of course not," Adler said, insulted at the very suggestion. "Why, that would encourage voyeurs and—" He broke off in astonishment as Seo moved a suitcase out of the way. A small square had clearly been sawn out of the wall. Seo peered through it. "Right through the wall. Who has the cabin next door?" Dr. Latimer frowned. "It was originally my cabin. The victim made a tremendous fuss and got her niece moved into it on the first day." "Her niece, who earlier today shouted that she wished her aunt was dead." Seo frowned at the hole. He ran his finger along the bottom edge. "This was sawn from the other side. Recently, too. No earlier than this morning." He turned his head abruptly. "Only one thing doesn't fit here. The watch. How did it end up on the floor?" Neither Latimer nor Adler could answer that. "She knocked it down in her death throes?" the steward suggested. "Except the doctor has just declared she died instantly. Do you think she could have thrown her arms up, knocked the watch off the bedside table, then set her arms down on the bed again in a split second?" "No, that's impossible. The murderer must have knocked it down," Latimer said. "The murderer wasn't in this room at all. They fired the gun through that hole. See the scorch mark on the wood?" It was all very well for him to think about minor details like watches and scorch marks. Adler had a much more important problem. "Should I arrest the niece?" Seo didn't answer for a while. He continued to stare at the watch as if it held all the secrets of the universe. "Yes, I suppose you have no choice. The circumstantial evidence against her is certainly… very strong."

"That was a horrible experience," Phil said. Behind them the house loomed like some fairy-tale monster. The curtains were drawn so the only light was from the streetlamps below. "Indeed," Mr. Seo said. "Have you solved the mystery?" "Not entirely. I'm still unsure if Mrs. Lennox is poisoning her husband. But whatever the answer, my advice will be the same: they should get a divorce." That was the most sensible thing Phil had heard all night. "I think she is poisoning him. You didn't hear how she talked. She was very insulting about you, and she implied something nasty about her husband. I don't know what she meant." "I believe I do." Phil looked at him curiously. He didn't seem inclined to enlighten her. As they reached the gates they came across a most unexpected scene. A man was pacing in circles under a streetlamp, muttering to himself. He was clearly drunk. Phil could smell the stuff from here. He had to keep one hand on the lamppost to stay upright, which was why he was walking in circles. Mr. Seo's hand went to his pocket. Phil looked back towards the house, then along the street to her own. It wasn't far, but they would have to pass the drunkard. He spotted them. He straightened up with a belligerent air. "Now you listen here," he began, slurring his words together. "Go home," Mr. Seo interrupted. "You're drunk and making a spectacle of yourself." The man said a few extremely rude things. "Your fine lady thinks she can fire my daughter and get away with it, well, she can't!" It struck Phil that there might be some useful information here. "Do you mean Lady Kilskeery fired your daughter?" The man's language got even worse. Mr. Seo took his hand out of his pocket. Something was concealed in his hand. When the swear words were removed from the man's speech, his story was, "Gave her the worst reference so she can't get another job, and what did my poor girl ever do to her? Told her what she thought, that's what! Well, I won't stand for it! If my Jenny doesn't get her job back I'll wring that woman's neck!" He raised his hands to demonstrate, but overbalanced and fell flat on the ground. "That's quite enough from you, my good man," Mr. Seo said coldly. "I have a gun aimed at you right now. I advise you to leave." At the mention of a gun the man sobered up. He leapt to his feet and scurried away at an astonishing rate for someone so drunk, still swearing under his breath. "Do you really have a gun?" Phil asked incredulously. Mr. Seo opened his hand, revealing the key to her front door. "No, but he doesn't know that. I doubt he'll be back in a hurry."

Yo-han stared up at the ceiling. He turned onto his side and stared at the curtains. When he still couldn't fall asleep, he turned to the other side and stared at the indistinct shape that was his alarm clock. His brain refused to let him sleep. Those five letters explained everything. If he could only recognise them… Disjointed thoughts and images filled his mind. Leopold Colman aiming a gun through a window. Yo-han's arrival in Tbilisi weeks later. Colman long gone… Why was he thinking of Tbilisi? Colman had slipped through his fingers that time. Sentences from a guidebook: The Georgian alphabet's origin is unknown. It may have been inspired by ancient Greek. But those letters weren't Georgian. It is similar to but unrelated to— Yo-han sat bolt upright. 1909. Of course it had looked like Qnwuw; he'd tried to read it as if it was the Latin alphabet. It should be Ադանա. How could he have forgotten? It had been spoken of constantly when it happened… …And the world had forgotten within months. He wasn't tired at all now. He turned on the lamp, opened his notebook, and began to write. When he was finished he knew everything.

Yo-han continued, "The solution is obvious." His voice was oddly light. Nothing at all like how he had sounded when he laid out the evidence against Leo. There was something going on here that Phil wasn't in on. "Mr. Lennox conspired with either the maid herself or with her father. They knew Mrs. Lennox would meet Çelik Bey in that place at that time. They killed both of them, then cut Çelik Bey's body to make it look like he was the target." Stunned silence followed this announcement. Vi stared open-mouthed at Yo-han. Phil kept her eyes on Lennox. He was still tense. He looked… He looked like someone who was expecting an unpleasant surprise. Not like a murderer who had just been revealed. Beside him Eames had his hands balled into fists. Light dawned on Phil, right as Yo-han said, "Officer, arrest this man." Máté obediently stepped forward. He'd rehearsed his line several times earlier. The only difference was that now he used the accused's name. "Alexander Lennox, I am arresting you for—" Eames leapt up with a shriek. "Stop! You bloody idiot!" He was practically snarling as he looked at Yo-han. "Alec had nothing to do with it! I killed them!" Phil, Vi and Máté looked at Yo-han in unison. Yo-han met Eames' gaze steadily. He was half-smiling. Phil looked back at Eames. She saw the exact moment he realised he'd been led into a trap. His shoulders slumped. He sank down onto the arm of Lennox's chair. He buried his face in his hands. Lennox stared at him. His eyes were very wide and he was trembling faintly, but he didn't look as shocked as Phil would have expected. "David," he said softly. He reached out and put his hand on Eames' shoulder. "David, why?" Eames made a noise somewhere between laughter and choking. "You ask me that?" He lowered his hands and straightened up. He and Lennox stared each other in the eye. Eames took Lennox's hand in both of his. He looked over at Yo-han. "How did you know?" "From your behaviour before and after the murder. From your relationship with Mr. Lennox. From the murder weapon and how you were one of the few people who could have taken it. From the photos in your room. From the cross you draw in your notebooks. But most importantly," Yo-han added, "from something Miss Patton said." Phil's mouth dropped open. "Me? But I don't know anything about this!" "You mentioned an incident a month ago. Mr. Eames punched someone for insulting a woman's appearance. You assumed he was her sweetheart. When I discovered Mr. Eames' preferences, that assumption no longer made sense. So who was the woman? You said she was foreign, and so is Mr. Eames. Who else could she be but a relative?"

They discussed the situation after breakfast. "So," Yo-han said. "I take it you want me to prove your innocence and catch the real culprit." Colman nodded. "When you catch them, don't bother handing them over to the police. I can deal with them myself." Yo-han looked at him. He raised an eyebrow. Colman looked back. One of his eyebrows was naturally higher than the other, giving the impression he was copying Yo-han. What was the point of trying to lecture an assassin on the morality of killing people? Yo-han gave up and moved on. "An alibi will be helpful." "Not for me," Colman said with a too-bright smile. "At the time of the murders I was in Italy, killing my father." Stunned silence fell. Yo-han's instinctive reaction was to recoil in horror. His stronger reaction, born from years of dealing with the most deranged family dramas imaginable, was to sigh wearily. "Why," he said flatly, not even bothering to turn it into a question. Colman shrugged. Beneath his flippant attitude and forced smile there was a mask of defiance. Beneath it was something Yo-han recognised only too well: grief mixed with the knowledge that something had been done too late. That some things could never be fixed. "He killed my mother. I don't mean he literally shot her or stabbed her or threw her in a well, but he killed her just the same." Yo-han suddenly understood Colman's motives perfectly. Hate could drive people to do terrible things, but grief could drive them even further.

do my eyes deceive me? Since when did you dabble back to the Jonsa ship, with a new story no less! How have I missed it when I constantly refresh the Jonsa tag ☠️☠️ I’m a couple days late!

Politically it makes sense that Jon and Arianne might be a match if they form an alliance, which I love that you mention (even if it threw my Jonsa heart into anxiety) because that’s usually how they form alliances through marriage. Ex) Robb and the freys, Tyrell trying to marry Sansa to get the north, etc. it’s how you make connects then. Which is why, it was pretty surprising no one mentioned a Jon and D match in GOT even though they supposedly had the best romance of the century.

I did really enjoy the more established relationship and dynamic within the stark family, usually they’re still in the finding the balance with each other after reuniting. A fresh change of pace, plus they’ve had time to bond before being thrown through another war, because boy they need a break!

enjoyed the peak at the southern side of things with drone, about her family and court dynamics. I loved the subtle difference with each court life depending on who the leader is. Like Dany interacting with her counsels, is more of them trying to advise her but she wants instant results. The starks we only saw a peak, but you can tell the family has a strong trust with Jon naming both surging members key roles, instantly knowing which scroll was for who and having no problem exchanging information. Arianne having few people she can trust since the recent betrayal but she kind of reminds me a bit like dany, very head strong but the difference is she seems more willing to learn and adapt. Of course this is all just speculation from how I interpret the text.

even though the chapters are wonderful, they never feel long enough but it also plays out like a movie in my head an I’m desperately trying to click next episode!!

I actually feel like I nailed that first Dany chapter, and I love how giving the Starks more time to grow together with the new dynamics has impacted the way they move and act.

When Dany raven arrived in WF in GOT they were still learning to trust each other, that is not the case here, yes at times they might not see eye to eye because they are different people, but at the end of the day they are a team that works wonders.

Arianne is my baby, she’s so headstrong but also highly adaptable as you mentioned and most of all she has had a kind, good example. She has seen both sides of the coin and now she starts her journey as princess regnant with a goal and the means to achieve it are just there, she just needs to reach out to the right tools.

And marriage is the common tool.

You’ll see more of it soon! So stay tuned to see how this will turn out!

Anyone and everyone is allowed to participate in this ship-friendly, censorship-free event!

Please be kind with one another. We will not tolerate any sort of hate or harassment towards the mods, the participants, or the works created for this week. No matter what metric, be it ships, tropes or something else, if someone made something you dislike, you're more than free to click away and move on with your life. Anyone found in violation of this rule will be auto-blocked and banned from the event.

About Works

The works don’t have to be stand-alone, you can put all the prompts into one fic, or use the prompts to make new works in a long running series, those sound great! 

While this week focuses on Dick Grayson and his maternal nature and instincts, we encourage the inclusion of ships or other characters. Our simple ask is that the content submitted is:

A) Brand new

B) Mainly about Dick acting as a mother / parental figure

C) Tagged appropriately 

D) Follow the prompts.

There is no maximum or minimum word count, or any other restrictions on your piece. This means that you may have SFW, NSFW or even Dark themes. So long as everything is tagged properly (see below), it will be allowed. You may submit a NEW multi-chaptered work (including a WIP), but the entire work must be new. A new chapter for an existing work does not count.

The work does not have to be a written fic, if you want to approach these prompts from any other creative angle, go for it! The event has been designed with fanfics and fanart in mind, but go wild with your creativity!

 Fanfics must be rated and tagged per AO3 policies, whether or not you post them on AO3. 

 On Tumblr, please rate your work above the cut line (G, Teen, Mature, Explicit/NSFW). Post the content of mature and explicit fics below the cut line.

When is Mama Dick Week happening?

When will the Official Prompts be posted?

We hope to have them out by 12th of July. We will take prompt suggestions from around 28th of June and then the community will vote to determine the final prompt list.

How many prompts will be posted for each day?

Three

Do I have to include all the prompts in my work?

Not at all! Feel free to combine them or to only pick one. We simply ask that you note on your work which Day/Prompt you’re creating for.

Is there a certain structure I have to follow with the prompts?

The prompts are up for interpretation! Create whatever sparks your inspiration, so long as your work is mainly about Dick and his motherly nature / instincts. 

Am I allowed to create anything?

You can create fanfic, fanart, comics, mood boards, playlists, aesthetics, headcanons, meta, dolls - almost anything you can think of.

The EXCEPTION: You may NOT take photography of human subjects (including in cosplay) as we have no way of verifying the age and consent of human subjects. Want to take photographs of your Legos or action figures? No prob!

Do I have to make something for every single day?

Not at all! You’re free to crank out all seven days, or only pick and choose which days you create for. So long as you have fun, it’s all good! No need for stress.

What type of contents are allowed and what isn’t?

There is no restriction for this event! Anything goes for this particular week. You can use any canon, part of canon, or AU centric plots for your work. There is no limit to what rating or relationships for your work, and you may write Dick as any gender(s) and/or orientation. It’s up to you as long as your work is tagged properly and you’re at least 18+ if you’re posting a NSFW work.
