SFW Alphabet (Severus Snape)

To try and get back in the habit of writing more regularly, I thought I'd give this a try. Enjoy!

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Severus is honestly pretty bad at showing affection at first. Not because it makes him uncomfortable, but because he's just never really experienced it before. It takes a while for him to learn from your own displays of affection, but once he gets the hang of it, he's like your own personal shadow (although he still won't do PDA).

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Becoming friends with Severus as teenagers at Hogwarts would be different from befriending him as adults. I think it would definitely be easier to earn his trust if the two of you knew each other when you were younger. He'd definitely be harder to connect with as an adult, but if you continued to show that he could trust you, he'd be unquestionably loyal as a best friend.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

He'd never admit it of course, but he loves it. Especially after a long day, either on the couch or in bed. He wouldn't really have a preference of how you cuddled, as long as he was able to hold you. I think it would be really grounding for him to be able to hold you in his arms, and cuddling would be something that Severus really valued.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

I don't think Severus would want to settle down until after the war -- mostly to not put you in danger. He'd try his best to not entertain the idea and get his own hopes up in fear of losing everything good that he has, including you. Only after the war would he finally allow himself to consider settling down with you. He'd also take a liking to cooking, seeing how similar it is to Potions. He's good at cleaning, except when it comes to his own workspace. It's organized chaos there.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

Due to events in his past, Severus wouldn't be the best at breaking up. Ideally, if he's dating someone, it's for the long run. He's made his choice very carefully and he knows it's not something he can back out of lightly. One of the only situations I feel he'd break up with you is if your life was in danger as a result of him being associated with the Death Eaters. He'd most likely disappear out of your life overnight like a ghost, with nothing but a letter to let you know the reasoning behind his decision.

I still he'd still try to look for you in the future though, just to make sure you were okay.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

I feel like this is similar to the domesticity one earlier. Severus is in no rush to get married, mainly because why on earth would anyone want to marry him? It's a subject he can't seem to wrap his head around, and I think it would take some time living together in safety for him to see that he really does want to take that next step and marry you.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

I know I've mentioned this in previous posts, but Alan Rickman once said in an interview that he envisioned Severus as someone who never raises his voice. I stand by that, and I think that would translate to physical touch too. He's always gentle with you, as if he's worried that at any moment, you might break.

Emotionally, it's a bit of a different story. He's still trying to learn that he's safe, and that you won't leave suddenly. Sometimes he can be colder than he means to be, but overtime you'll melt his heart.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

You have no idea how touch starved Severus is. He’d never admit it, but he adores your hugs. He often holds your embrace for as long as he can, almost trying to memorize the way your arms wrap so effortlessly around him. He doesn’t often initiate hugs, but he’d never turn away from one offered.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Severus really isn't good with this sort of thing, so you'll see this translated more through his actions than his words. Making your favourite breakfast in the morning, taking a day off to spend with you after you'd had a bad day, holding you when he sees you need comfort without you needing to even ask, that sort of thing.

He'll always respond if you tell him you love him, though it might feel foreign to him at first. He's a bit more comfortable with it if you initiate.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

Don't even get me started. Severus trusts you, but he doesn't trust other people. If he were to walk into a room and see you talking with someone else, especially if it were someone he didn't like from the start, he'd be right there in an instant. He'd place a hand on the small of your back, both to show who held your heart as well as to make sure you knew you were protected.

Once the two of you were alone, though, he'd make sure you knew you were his.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

I think it really depends on what the mood is. Sometimes his kisses are soft and reserved, as if you're made of glass and could crack at any moment, and other times it's as if you're his very lifeline.

I think he'd be quite fond of neck kisses, both giving and receiving.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

I think being around children reminds him too much of his work. Spending time with kids, and not in a teaching setting either, isn't something I can ever see him voluntarily wanting to do.

That being said, I think his heart would melt a little if he saw you with kids, if you liked them of course. He'd enjoy watching you interact with them more than he'd enjoy being with them himself.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Mornings are quiet and calm. Seveus is usually the first one awake, but he'd have your favourite drink ready to go by the time you wake up. He doesn't speak too much in the mornings, but he's content to just be in your presence. Sometimes he'll rest his hand over yours during breakfast, just to remind himself that you're real.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Whether it's sharing a drink before bed, or curling up together by the fire, I think Severus would always want to be close to you physically at night. Lots of soft touches, forehead kisses, things to keep him centred and grounded with you.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

I think if you got to know Severus as a young student, he'd share a lot with you in a short amount of time. I don't think he'd be aware of it though, given that he's never really had an outlet for all the things that happened throghout childhood.

Later on though, I think it would take him a long time to open up. It gets even more complicated when he's a double agent, because knowing too much could put your life at risk. I think you'd have to treat Severus like a riddle and use the pieces you witness to put his story together in full.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

There are only a few topics that set Severus off quite easily: his father, betrayal in general, and his commitment to Dumbledore.

He would never be angry at you though, unless it was something from the list above. Despite so many students being afraid of him, Severus does strangely have the patience of a saint... most of the time.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Severus remembers everything. I'm sure Legilimency has something to do with it, but he'll find a way to remember every detail especially when it comes to things that bring you joy, or your preferences.

He tries to forget his own past, so being able to remember details about you gives him a chance to give his mind a break from his own memories.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

When he realized you see him completely. Not just as someone to mock, or something to take your anger out on, or someone to use for their knowledge.

You see him for who he is, and when Severus finally realizes that for certain, a weight seems to drop off his shoulders. He'd live in your loving gaze for eternity, if he could.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

This man would sacrifice himself ten times over if it meant protecting you, and he wouldn't think twice about it. I don't think he'd let you protect him if he found out you were trying to -- if something were to happen to you in the process, he'd never forgive himself.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

I really feel like Severus would struggle with the concept of anniversaries at first. He never had adults in his life who set good examples and had a healthy relationship with each other. To him, it might as well be a story in a foreign language.

He'd be really good at the everyday things though, and I think that's because deep down he's got a gentle heart. Seeing you happy makes him feel safe and loved.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

I think the worst one is that he would shut down in conflict. His mind would jump to conclusions very quickly, and he'd go down some bad rabbit holes as a result.

Conflict resolution isn't exactly a strength of his, and I think it would take a lot of patience to properly talk through conflict with him once the intial emotions blow over. Every fight feels like the end of the world to him, and it'll take a lot of reassurance to let him know you're not going anywhere.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

I wouldn't say he's concerned in a vanity sense, more in an insecure way. You'll never see Severus actively fussing with his appearance, but his mind would be running a mile a minute about whether he looked presentable enough to you, whether or not he was still attractive to you, that sort of thing.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Severus once scoffed at the idea of having a soulmate. He didn't think it possible to ever feel as though he were incomplete without someone, because all his life he had been made to feel incomplete as-is. The longer he spends with you, the more he finally understands what it means to be whole.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

I think Severus is really good at reading body language. If you're in an uncomfortable situation, or upset and trying to hide it, he'll know right away. You barely need to speak what's on your mind, he'll know how you're feeling just by the way you open the door when you get home.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Very few things come to mind, but I don't think Severus would tolerate being someone who lies often. He needs stability from honesty, especially after what has happened in his past. I think he'd have a very low tolerance when it came to dishonesty in relationships.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

He often struggles with insomnia, especially after the war, so I think he'd spend a lot of nights just lying awake and holding you. It keeps his mind from racing too much.

On good nights when he's able to get some sleep, though, I think the two of you might unconsciously shift so that you're the one holding him through the night. That extra comfort helps him stay asleep.

warnings: fluff | NOT PROOFREAD | lowercase intended | this is my interpretation of this character, please be respectful even if my opinion on the character differs from your own

character: nam-gyu (player 124)

A/N: a bit ashamed i haven’t written anything NOT freaky about this guy— it’s high time that changes ✋😒 (acting like i’m not gonna write something crazy later)

Enjoy!

A= Affection (how affectionate are they? how do they show affection?)

↳ nam-gyu is surprisingly affectionate for someone so….

we know’s got a thing for physical touch, so his way of showing affection is basically just hanging off you— when no one else is around. he won’t be affectionate in public, ever. he finds PDA super embarrassing

B= Best Friend (what would they be like as a best friend? how would the friendship start?)

↳ he would definitely be an apathetic type of best friend— who at the same time is the best person to have deep conversations with.

as for how the friendship starts, it would definitely be an unlikely bond formed through a mutual friend (cough cough su-bong cough cough)

C= Cuddles (do they like to cuddle? how would they cuddle?)

↳ as much as he won’t actually admit it, nam-gyu loves it when you smother your face into his chest when you guys cuddle. he usually lets you practically hang off him while he scrolls on his phone

however if he’s feeling extra affectionate (whether that be cause of inebriation is up for interpretation), he likes to flip the script and have it so he is the one buried in your chest

D= Domestic (do they want to settle down? how are they at cooking and cleaning?)

↳ nam-gyu doesn’t strike me as the type of person who is in any sort of rush to settle down. he’s moreso worried about getting super attached to someone, only to have them leave like all the rest. if, and that’s a big if, he decides he does actually want to settle down— it’s because he sees that you love him for him, not just one superficial thing

he’s actually a bit of a clean freak, he likes to have everything in it’s right place and will be anal about organizing. he should definitely count his lucky stars if his partner can cook though, because it’s a wonder he survived beforehand when he’s the kind of guy to set water on fire

E= Ending (if they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

↳ he wouldn’t be able to do it himself, especially if you guys have been together for a while. he’ll just stop trying in the relationship at all, waiting it out until you decide to break up with him.

if you guys haven’t been together a long time, he’ll break things off very callously, saying something like “it was never really that serious.” but even still, deep down, your reaction would break his heart a little bit

F= Fiance(e) (how do they feel about commitment? how quick would they want to get married?)

↳ as much as some may hate to hear it, i can’t see nam-gyu being the type to ever get married. common law is the furthest i can see him going in a relationship

G= Gentle (how gentle are they? both physically and emotionally)

↳ i don’t actually think nam-gyu is the type to not be gentle, if that makes sense.

he’ll definitely try to perform, try to seem like that standard “bad boy” persona, much like in the crowds he manages at the club. but deep down? he’s a pretty big softie, it just takes a while to get down to the core of it— you know?

H= Hugs (do they like hugs? how often do they do it? what are their hugs like?)

↳ he hugs you like his life depends on it, he’s the type of person to bury his face in the crook of your neck as you hug.

out in public, the most he’ll give you is a half-hug— but that’s not all he’s capable of in this department.

I= I Love You (how fast do they say the L-word?)

↳ nam-gyu wants to be loved, yearns so badly to hear you say the three big words. but, something stops him from saying them to you for the longest while. he’s afraid of coming off too strongly, and in actuality he doesn’t want to scare you off.

in short, it takes so long for him to say it, you actually start to wonder if he loves you at all

J= Jealousy (how jealous do they get? what do they do when they’re jealous?)

↳ it’s simple. he shuts down when he gets jealous, becomes very cold. we’ve known that nam-gyu clearly struggles with insecurities, and i feel like when he’s jealous he projects and takes those insecurities out on his partner

he never means to be cruel, but when he feels like anyone is a better option than he is, and he sees you being checked out and approached by one of the “better options”? his words will be cutting in the argument that will no doubt follow, and he will feel terrible about it

K= Kisses (what are their kisses like? where do they like to kiss you? where do they like to be kissed?)

↳ nam-gyu’s kisses can vary, but more often than not he’s surprisingly gentle when you guys kiss. when you guys really sink into it, he’ll have his hands all over you— to be sure.

he would never say it out loud, but he always gets butterflies when you kiss his hands or on his neck. of course, mouth to mouth kissing is his favourite but that’s no surprise.

as for where he likes to kiss you: anywhere you’ll let him honestly, but he’s been known to be a neck kisser himself.

L= Little Ones (how are they around children?)

↳ he thinks kids are annoying, but he’s not mean to them. most children find nam-gyu very intimidating, so it’s not very often he has an interaction with one.

M= Morning (how are mornings spent with them?)

↳ nam-gyu is not a morning person. at all.

if you try to talk to him at all before 10 AM, you will be getting something thrown at you, or crude words tossed in your direction.

N= Night (how are nights with them?)

↳ his job forces him to be more lively at night, but even then after hours that’s not saying much.

typically he’ll spend his night outside smoking, of course you usually join him— whether it be by partaking in a smoke yourself or just sitting with him, talking about your day. he pretends to be aloof about it all, but hearing you talk about the goings-on in your world is quite relaxing to him.

O= Open (when would they start revealing things about themselves? do they share everything all at once or does it take a while for them to come out of their shell?)

↳ nam-gyu is a challenge in the opening-up department, that’s for sure. he has trouble letting people in out of fear of one day disappointing and losing them forever.

he needs to know for a fact that you won’t abandon him if you’re going to know his life story.

P= Patience (how easily angered are they?)

↳ he gets ticked off to a comically easy degree. it’s so bad to the point where you and your friends get him angry on purpose, just for the laughs of it all

Q= Quizzes (how much do they remember about you? do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

↳ nam-gyu may strike everyone as the kind of guy who doesn’t remember important things about his friends— and they would be absolutely right in thinking that.

he remembers the obscure things, like that one thing you said under your breath about that rude server three years ago, or how hard you laughed when that guy who was hitting on your friend at the amusement park smacked his head against a fun house mirror post rejection— it’s quite literally the most random things he remembers

R= Remember (what is their favourite moment in your relationship?)

↳ discovering that you liked to gossip just as much as he did. you both love to shit talk people you don’t like to eachother, and you guys for sure kill yourselves laughing about how stupid you think your opps are

S= Security (how protective are they?)

↳ he’s pretty protective of you, but in more of an obsessed way than anything else. you’re the greatest thing that’s ever happened to him, why should anyone else get to walk in and steal you away?

T= Try (how much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

↳ he’s the kind of guy to do the bare minimum, i fear. commitment is not his strong suit, but he has a quality that makes up for it

U= Ugly (what are some bad habits of theirs?)

↳ definitely his lack of a filter. nam-gyu’s worst habit is not thinking before he says stuff, and that’s for sure bit him in the ass in the past

V= Vanity (how concerned are they with their looks?)

↳ he’s very concerned with looking his best, this is a habit carried over from his job. say what you want about the fuckassness of his haircut, but he actually makes that shit work

W= Whole (would they feel incomplete without you?)

↳ in a way, yes. he definitely gets validation from knowing someone else wants him, or needs him, in any way.

X= Xtra (a random headcanon for them)

↳ he has a guilty pleasure for shows like dance moms. the way he was eating up the family tea between yong-sik and geum-ja? oh you know nam-gyu would fuck up a scene with abby lee miller and kelly hyland 🙂‍↕️✋

Y= Yuck (what are some things they wouldn’t like, in general and in a partner?)

↳ the main thing i can think of is someone who interrupts people and/or has a lack of basic manners. he would find it embarrassing to be seen with someone with no decorum like that in public

Z= Zzz (what are their sleep habits?)

↳ i already know his ass sleeps in volatile conditions. he’s got a loose sheet, a white noise machine and a dream.

when you guys move in together, it takes him a while but he does eventually grow accustomed to sleeping with many blankets in a cold room.

You’d cuddle for a bit and then go for a walk before returning home and making breakfast together. You’d then take a shower together and get ready for the day. As he watches you get dressed and do your hair and a bit of makeup, he hugs you from behind and kisses your neck.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?): I think he’s a calm man. He knows where to direct his anger and he picks his battles. He is Italian so he gets fired up, but not angry.

It has things you’ve said, things you’ve mentioned that you like, his favourite things you wear, etc. He works to know everything about you. And you’re the same way with him.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?): When you told each other “I love you” for the first time. You were just cuddled up on the couch, each reading a book. He watched you reading, and blurted it out. He was embarrassed, but wouldn’t take it back. You told him that you loved him too. You shared a beautiful kiss and he held you in his arms after for a little while.

He lets you live your life and isn’t super controlling, but he wants to make sure you’re safe. He asks you to text him when you get home and won’t hesitate to tell a creepy guy to f off. He hugs in a very protective way as well. He envelops you and holds you in his arms, just relishing in the moment where he’s protecting you.

Like I said, he isn’t one for cliché romantic gestures, but he loves to plan out a perfect day for you. Both of you value experiences over things, so gifts are most often trips and adventures. He wouldn’t do an over-the-top anniversary dinner at the best restaurant in town because neither of you particularly want that. Instead, he’d book some crazy experience for you guys, like bungee jumping, and then you’d have a night in at home, just how you like.

He has never been affectionate with his past girlfriends, but with you, he just feels so possessive over his fucking hot boyfriend that Billy just feels like he needs to show it

If you two started off on anything, it was on the wrong foot. In the early days of your relationship with Billy, you two would break up quite a but- not every month but from time to time and for different reasons the two of you would find that being separated would be better for the both of you. The one main reason for the constant break-ups was Billy's commitment issues (amongst other things) - the Jock would start to get freaked out by you getting upset at him looking at girls and then arguments would start which would end in a breakup. But the two of you always found your way back to each other. You both struggled alone and once Billy actually matured, the two of you had never been happier and more stable.

Again, in the early days (like back in high school and college), Billy would shit bricks at the thought of having to give up his playboy lifestyle for you - let alone even think of marrying you. But once the man matured and realised you were the one person for him, he could feel his heart yearning for you in so many ways. Billy has fantasised about marrying you many times, he's practically already planned out the wedding and the honeymoon! Physically, Billy varies in gentleness. For example, Valentine's Day is full of sweets and flowers that you like, as well as a date he's planned out based on your 'ideal date' you've talked about.

While it might be easy for Billy to say that anytime you two have sex is his favourite memory, his real favourite moment in your relationship was when you let him come to you with open arms after an argument with his dad. You two were broken up. You had him blocked on everything, but when you opened the door late at night to a teary-eyed Billy, you let him inside in an instant. It was at that moment that he realised he had no one to go to. He instinctively went to your house. When you let him in and comforted him, he really realised that he loved you.

Billy could feel his heart skip a beat and his blood rush downstairs.

Because he smoked back in high school and all throughout college, Billy literally can't quit smoking. You used to find it hot, and you kind of still do (he likes to do this thing where he looks up at you while he licks the rolling paper) but you know it's bad for him. You've tried to get him to quit before, but he would start to go crazy - he'd start with the shakes, then Billy would be constantly eating sugar (which would make him angry because he's obsessed with his body) and then he would replace the dopamine from the smoking with other activities that release dopamine - activities that cost you heavily ;)

So Billy had to go back to smoking, he's tried alternatives, but he just went through those quicker - it's bad, but hey, he does look hot when he smokes.

It's no surprise that Billy cares about his looks. He used to be a massive playboy - that kind of lifestyle is literally based on sex appeal. He still gets stuck in front of a mirror if he sees one in passing, and shopping for clothes with him takes ages. He's the one that got you into skincare, and he's 100% improved your fashion sense. You can't complain too much though, your boyfriend is a piece of eye candy that you just can't stop looking at - his looks sugar-coat his personality, they were even more helpful back when you two would mainly only have sex.

Definitely. Not only were you Billy's first time with a guy but also his gay awakening, you're also the only person he's been with for a few years - the man wouldn't know what to do without you. Hannibal and Will are tough nuts to crack. To have to prove yourself as trustful and reliable before they start a relationship with you. (Hannibal may or may not have had his sights set on you before he even spoke to you.)

Hannibal enjoys occasional cuddles and hugs. He definitely needs them from time to time, but can go for a long while before he's desperate for affection.

Both men want a quite simple lives…. eventually…but they still have a little bit more murder in them

Hannibal might kill you and eat you OR let you go on with your life (he will always be there, you just won't know it)

Will is a respectful gentleman and understands not all relationships work out. He'll have a long chat with you before parting ways.

They Both want to get married. Simple as that! (Hannibal is totally a groomzilla)

Yes and No.

They do have Gentle moments with each other, but they do get covered in blood quite often. But surprisingly the Gore can be very soft and gentle from time to time. Even down right romantic if you catch them on the right occasion.

But you're dating two cannibals, so you already knew that.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Sometimes, they like to keep the PDA to a minimum.

Also hugs isn't always their kind of affection, They will absolutely give hugs if you ask, but they like words of affirmation a bit more.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

YEARS. These men use verbal word play to convey affection. If they outright say ‘I Love you’, you can expect them or you to be dying.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

Absolutely. They do undoubtedly have confidence in you and the relationship, but they just can't help a guy testing their smooth moves on you.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Kisses are pretty rare When it comes to Hannibal and Will. Kisses are saved for special occasions and bedroom activities. BUT, if it is to occur, they're pretty soft and sensual.

Hannibal Targets the lips, knuckles, shoulders, and chest.

Will Targets the lips, neck, face, and stomach.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Hannibal is up bright and early at 4:00 am. He has a whole morning routine that takes him an hour to complete. At 5:00 he makes breakfast and goes through all the appointments he has that day. At 6:00 he's out the door and off to work.

Will wakes up, lays in bed for a few minutes, uses the bathroom, and goes downstairs to eat breakfast. He heads out for work around 6:30 ish.

If they have both managed to score a day off at the same time, breakfast is pushed back and hour. Not because Hannibal spends more time in bed, but because he gets to spend more time in his grooming routine. Hannibal spends an additional hour in the bathroom cleaning himself up.

Will on the other hand does stay in bed. He waits until Hannibal is done, uses the bathroom, and goes back to bed until breakfast is ready. He's a very simple guy.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Hannibal has a Bedtime routine that also takes quite some time. (Yes, he will occasionally skip all of that to just hop into bed, but that's not often.) If you're all close enough (and there's room) He'll let you and Will get in the shower with him. At the end he slides into the far right side of the bed and lets you and will cuddle with him.

Will takes a shower, brushes his teeth, and get into the far left side of the bed. On occasion Hannibal will force him into his own routine (which involves a lot of oils and creams) that Will is not all that pleased to be doing.

If you're a very cuddly person, cling to Hannibal. He loves feeling needed and in control.

If you're not a cuddly person, turn and face Will. Will isn't the biggest fan of physical touch so you'll be (relatively) left alone.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

HA.

Hannibal HAS to be in your head first before he even considers opening up in the slightest.

Will is closed off until Hannibal reassures him that you're trustworthy.

This could takes years.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Do they get angry easily, yes. But they are in it for the long con.

They have taken years playing with their prey before they kill them. Their patients is through the roof.

Hannibal is the more patient one of course, but Will is also slow moving evil in a vest.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Hannibal remembers everything you tell him. He soaks up that information like a sponge.

Will might forget a few things but over all remembers most of what you tell him.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Hannibal:

Hannibal texts you later in the day to tell you he'll be home late. He feels bad and tries to get through the night as quickly as possible.

When he eventually comes home he could smell a savory scent coming from the kitchen. He creeps up softly to the kitchen and peaks inside.

There you are, doing your damn best to make dinner. He found it really sweet and let you work it out alone.

Was it the best meal he ever had? No. Was it the one He loved the most? Yes!

Will:

During one of the lowest points of his life He genuinely couldn't be alone. He felt like he could rely on anyone but desperately needed help, so he ended up calling you.

You were there within an hour with an overnight bag.

You stayed with him all night and the next day. You made sure he slept, ate, and showered. He's never forgotten that, and thinks of that act of kindness daily.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Both of them have killed for you, and will do it again.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Hannibal will put in maximum effort in all dates. He puts in the works, food, wine, place, timing, all of it

Will will do his best, plan something nice, Wear something presentable.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

…. Despite the obvious…Hannibal can't stop staring into your soul. His gaze can pass through anyone. It's bone chilling at the best of times.

Will…. Will has one of the most infamous killers of all time in the palm of his hand. He absolutely uses that to his advantage.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Hannibal 90% sometimes He couldn't be bothered, most the time he is.

Will 50%, He's been out and about missing some clothing.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Hannibal loves hard. Obsessively. He stalks, he creeps, he prowls, he peeps. There are no secrets, he already knows. He loves knowing, That's how he shows it.

Will needs support, well he could survive a while without you, after a few hours you will be bombarded with texts and calls. He'll be all pretty over the phone telling you he just needs to hear your voice.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

Dick is very affectionate. He loves hugging you and grabbing you by your waist, pulling you against his chest. He is all for PDA. Honestly, he loves seeing people get uncomfortable when he's kissing you. That's just the dick inside him.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Dick is the kind of person that loves teasing people. But he's also a very kind person at heart. (Some might say he's a softie<3) He's the type of man that'll make you feel very comfortable. He's also a very overprotective person.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Dick loves cuddles! He strives for that physical touch and closeness. He's the big spoon, I swear. He loves enveloping you and hugging you every night before bed.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Contrary do popular belief, Dick can cook. He does not just live off of cereal. Dick is a master chef, taught by Alfred, of course. And being the eldest among his siblings also meant that he'd have to pick up after a lot of kids.

But that does not stop him from settling down. Sure, he used to be an acrobat in a circus, meaning he never stayed in one place for long. But I feel like it was pure chaos. And he'd definitely want to settle down with the right person.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

Dick is a gentle person and would definitely go to you with a soft and kind expression. But Dick will always regret breaking up with you. Why? He probably broke up with you because he was in one of his depressing moods. (Feeling like he isn't good enough for you, etc..)

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Dick is loving, caring, and exceptionally passionate. But he also suffers from eldest daughter syndrome. He feels like he isn't worth it, that he isn't good enough, causing him to cripple with self-doubt and self-hate. As the oldest child, he feels that it's hard to voice out his opinions. His throat starts to close in and he can't force the words out.

But his heart aches for you. You're his heroin. And he would love to have you as he fiancé—better yet, his wife. And he would love to be your husband, but then again, he's afraid he'll hurt you. (I wanna give him a big hug)

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Dick is the definition of gentle. (Search it up, love.) His touch is soft and caring. He always makes sure he doesn't overstep any boundaries.

He's also scared both mentally and emotionally. But does that stop him from whispering sweet things in your ear? No.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

He loves hugs. Dick hugs you whenever he gets the chance. His hands usually fall down to your midback. And he always ends his hugs with a squeeze.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

He's quick with his hands but not his words. It would take him a long time to say it but that doesn't mean he doesn't care for you. If his words can't express his undying flame of love for you, his actions definitely do.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

He's definitely the silent type. But his actions speak like a megaphone. If another man is flirting with you, he'll occasionally tug at your dress and pull you closer to him.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

He likes to take his time with you. His kissed can sometimes be soft and slow, making you melt like ice at his warmth.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Dick's amazing with kids. I mean, come on. He is the oldest among all his siblings, meaning he has had to take care of a lot annoying little urchins.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

He's a morning person. He'll wake up at the crack of dawn and start cooking breakfast for you. And when you wake up, Dick will give you a kiss on the cheek and serve you breakfast in bed.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Although Dick's a morning person, he's a bit of a night owl. Sure, he'll be gone some nights to due him having to patrol the streets of Gotham/Bludhaven. But mostly, he'll spend his nights curled up on the couch right next to you.

Sometimes he'll even go for a movie marathon with you.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

At the start of any relationship, he definitely wouldn't reveal anything too personal. He definitely likes to reveal things slowly once you progress more into your relationship. His night time job is one of the things that'll take a long time to reveal to you. (Especially if you're a civilian.) And his history of being assaulted and raped is also a touchy subject for him. He won't bring it up unless he's ready to tell you.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

In the past, he's definitely lashed out on people. But now, he's more calm and patient with most things (he legit had to don the mantel of the bat) But then again, it's canon that he's short-tempered. If he sees you doing anything even slightly self-destructive, he will be livid. Even the thought of you getting hurt angers him.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Dick has a pretty great memory. He knows if you have any allergies, what your favorite flower is, your favorite color, food, etc.. He's lovesick, I swear. <3

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

The first time you and him kissed. Whenever he thinks about it, it sends butterflies down his stomach. His hands on your waist, your arms wrapped around his neck... ugh

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Dick is protective of you. He does not like seeing you get hurt. But later on, he starts accepting the fact that you can take care of yourself. But that doesn't mean he won't protect you.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Dick puts effort in everything he does for you. Every detail needs to be perfect or he'll crack. He plans out what he'll be doing for each date and anniversary months before.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

He's a perfectionist. He feels like he needs to be perfect. Dick also has the habit of bottling up his feelings and never talking about them. He grew up with a lot of siblings and since he is also the oldest among them, he felt obligated to take care of them. He also made sure to never let his facade fall down. :(

Dick definitely has definitely adopted a skincare routine over the years. I mean, he has been fighting villains for years, can't a man have something for himself? Anyway, he definitely cares about how he looks. He isn't self-absorbed but he cares.

Dick Grayson listens to 80s music. I can already imagine him playing something from Bruce's playlist and jamming to it with no shame. I mean, the man has THE ass in Gotham. Why should he be ashamed?

Dick has a love-hate relationship with sleep.

i’ve been obsessed with this man since 2018 so i figured it was time to write about him on here

as always if you have any comment or critiques leave them in the comment section! also reblog as are nice!

A= Affection (How Affectionate are they? How do they show affection?

𐚁₊⊹ Arthur isn’t much into PDA. He may kiss the side of your head or give you a quick peck before leaving on a mission. The only time I see him actually not caring about PDA is when he’s drunk and then he’s very grabby.

𐚁₊⊹ However when it just the two of you, he is very touchy. he likes to have his hands on you at all times.

𐚁₊⊹ I definitely feel like his love language is acts of service and quality time.

𐚁₊⊹ Whenever he leave for a mission and comes back he always like to bring you back something small that he knows you like or something that reminds him of you. Also around camp he will do your chores without even being asked.

B= Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

𐚁₊⊹ Arthur would constantly tease you. Like we see with any of his interactions with the gang, but with you as a best friend he would say a little jab and then grin at you to let you know he was just teasing.

𐚁₊⊹ also having Arthur as a best friend means you would have someone constantly in your corner. he is extremely protective of the ones he cares for.

C= Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

𐚁₊⊹ Arthur would say he doesn’t cuddle. this is a lie.

𐚁₊⊹ the only time I could see him cuddling in public is if you two are sitting around the camp after most of the gang have bent to bed. then he’d probably pull you in his lap or have an arm wrapped around your side.

𐚁₊⊹ HOWEVER in private this man loves to cuddle. he likes holding you in his arms and feeling like a protector.

𐚁₊⊹ Sometimes after he’s been gone for a longer period of time or a mission was especially tiring all he craves is to hold you in his arms.

D= Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

𐚁₊⊹ That is a constant internal struggle with Arthur, i mean that’s a big reason him and mary’s relationship ended. but yes i do believe he would want to settle down, if he ever got out of the gang. He would want a small house with his partner with enough room outside for horses.

𐚁₊⊹ At camp he is always trying to help everyone out with chores and especially his partner. Grimshaw asked you to cut wood? He’s already on it! Like i mentioned earlier acts of service would be one of his love languages so helping his partner out wouldn’t feel like a chore, he would it because he wants to make things easier for you.

E= Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

𐚁₊⊹ yay now i’m gonna cry. Arthur is 1000% committed to the gang so more than likely it would end over something of that nature.

𐚁₊⊹ It would obviously be done in person. He may get a little cold just to distance himself from i guess the emotional aspect of breaking up with a partner. of his partner broke up with him i think he would of course be upset but wouldn’t show it just nod in understanding. however if he did it, he would just be kinda forward and straight to the point, then probably leave very shortly after it happens.

F= Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

𐚁₊⊹ When Arthur is in a relationship with someone he is 100% committed.

𐚁₊⊹ With marriage that’s a little tricky. Again obviously with Mary, he wanted to marry her but the situation with the gang. Then of course with Eliza, but that situation was a little different.

𐚁₊⊹ However, if he found someone that understood him and understood his commitment to the gang, then yes I do believe he would marry them. I don’t think it would be a quick process though, it would take a while for him to get to that step and a lot of built up trust in his partner.

G= Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

𐚁₊⊹ Arthur would say he’s not a gentle/ good man. His hands are dirty and he’s an outlaw, however with his partner he would be as gentle as he could possibly be.

𐚁₊⊹ I mean we’ve all seen how he treats women in the game.

𐚁₊⊹ Of course if you guys got into an argument he may say something he regrets and hurts you, but after the fighting is over and both of you had calmed down he would come back over and apologize.

H= Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

𐚁₊⊹ Back to the pda thing, he wouldn’t be hugging you in public or anything like that. However in private it is a completely different story.

𐚁₊⊹ I feel like a real hug from Arthur, not just like a quick one with a pat on the back, would be so comforting. Arthur is a broad dude so his arms would just engulf you and make you feel safe.

𐚁₊⊹ so while hugs aren’t super common when they do happen they are something to relish in.

I= I love you (How fast do they say the L=word?)

𐚁₊⊹ This would take a while

𐚁₊⊹ Firstly, i feel like Arthur would struggle admitting to himself that he has those feelings for you to himself. he has been hurt before, and we all know he doesn’t have the best self- image of himself, so he would also probably feel like you wouldn’t feel the same way even if it painfully obvious that you did.

𐚁₊⊹ Once there is an actual confession, whether is be from him or you and you actually do get together. Again he would probably struggle to admit the feelings are that deep.

𐚁₊⊹ So I would say it would take a while for him to actually say I love you to his partner just because of all the mental barriers he and you as his partner would have to break down. However when he does say it, he 100% means it, no doubt.

J= Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

𐚁₊⊹ I don’t believe he gets jealous often. However when he does get jealous he just kinda goes quiet. I think he more so turns into a ‘They realized they could do way better than me’ situation for him mentally rather than him getting jealous, if that makes sense??

𐚁₊⊹ So I feel like he would just kinda get a little distant and quiet and then you would have to reassure him that you do love him and that he is good enough.

K= Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

𐚁₊⊹ Oh lord

𐚁₊⊹ Kisses with Arthur are amazing. Whether it be just a rushed peck before he has to leave or it’s a tender loving kiss in private. There would always be emotion in that kiss, letting you know how he feels.

𐚁₊⊹ also you’re telling me with a man who’s lips look ike that, he gonna be a bad kisser?? no way

𐚁₊⊹ Favorite place for him to kiss his partner: Probably on the forehead. there is something so tender in the act. Him holding in his arms while softly pressing a kiss on your brow. It’s a tenderness he doesn’t get to show often, so when he does get to do it, it’s his favorite.

𐚁₊⊹ Favorite placed for him to be kissed: I know it a little bit of a basic answer but probably on his mouth. He loves the feeling of your lips on his, the intimacy of it all. How warm and inviting they are and how you can make every worry or doubt go away just by pressing a kiss to his lips.

𐚁₊⊹ also he would never admit it but hand kisses are his favorite too. his hands are dirty with crime so for you the the best thing that has ever happened to him, takes his hands and presses small kisses to his knuckles that have beat people. he feels a little shame i suppose, but also he feels incredibly loved at the same time.

L= Little ones (How are they around children?)

𐚁₊⊹ Just going based of the game and not even hc he is amazing. Just look how he is with Jack.

𐚁₊⊹ Whenever there is a mission and you two are together on it, I don’t think he would be as relaxed. Just because there is the chance that something could happen. He would probably keep watch throughout the night to let you sleep, and maybe have some coffee waiting on you when you wake up.

𐚁₊⊹ However if it is a trip just for you two and you are camping or at a lodge, he likes to hold you as long as he can. He likes to hold you in the soft hours of the morning and just pretend even for a moment that it is just you two in the world.

𐚁₊⊹ I do think though that he would always like to wake up before you just so that he can sneak not so shameful stares at your sleeping peaceful face.

N= Night (How are nights spent with them?)

𐚁₊⊹ Again it is all about setting, but just for the sake of this I’ll say it’s at a camp.

𐚁₊⊹ whether it be sitting by the fire just basking in each other’s presence or in the private of your guys tent, holding each other talking in whispers so you don’t wake everyone up.

𐚁₊⊹ nights are always a little more quite because there is no rush to start the day, or the build up to what will happen once everyone is awake. it’s just a quite time for the two of you.

𐚁₊⊹ I also believe Arthur would love stargazing

𐚁₊⊹ yeah this is definitely a slower reveal.

𐚁₊⊹ Arthur is not open about his feelings at first. It would take a level of trust to be built before he would start being vulnerable.

𐚁₊⊹ With his partner i don’t think he could get easily angered. It would have to be a pretty good argument for him to get angry, and even then he would never harm them or anything like that. he may say some things out of anger that he immediately regrets, but i do believe if he ever got so angry over an argument with his partner he would just walk away and cool down before things got too heated.

𐚁₊⊹ He remembers a lot. Obviously he wouldn’t be able to remember everything single thing you mention in passing, but he would remember a lot.

𐚁₊⊹ Like the flowers that you said you like the smell of or your favorite kind of candy.

𐚁₊⊹ and whenever you aren’t together and he sees these things he would always make it a point to get it for you, just to see your face glow in surprise and happiness that he remembered something that small.

R= Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

𐚁₊⊹ Probably seeing how well you just accepted him for the man he is and not trying to change him into someone he isn’t.

𐚁₊⊹ Arthur is a good man no matter how much he insists he isn’t, and for you to see that in him and for him to know that you believe in him 100% that’s a feeling he isn’t used to, and something he would always remember.

𐚁₊⊹ however for anniversaries, i feel like he would try to make an effort. it probably wouldn’t be anything grand, more so like him picking your favorite flowers and waking you up with a cup of coffee saying happy anniversary type thing.

𐚁₊⊹ and we’ll as i’ve mentioned before with everyday tasks, he has no problem with that, he loves helping out his partner.

U= Ugly (what would be some bad habits of theirs?)

𐚁₊⊹ i would say when when you two get into really heated arguments, him saying something hurtful. he almost instantly regrets it and feels bad for days after, even if you two have made up.

V= Vanity (how concerned are they with their looks?)

𐚁₊⊹ lmao he is so not concerned with how he looks, he already thinks he’s ugly. however if you mention that you like his hair or beard a certain why he will try his absolute damnedest to keep it that way.

W= Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

𐚁₊⊹ He would have to be okay without you and you without him because of the environment that you two would be in. However it doesn’t stop him from always wanting you around.

X= Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

𐚁₊⊹ i will die on this hill. Arthur would 1000% draw his partner in his sketchbooks. he would have whole pages dedicated to you. it would be random things like your side profile, you cutting wood, taking care of the horses.

𐚁₊⊹ he also seems to me like the type of guy that would stare at his partner a lot. whether he means to or not, and if you catch him doing it he would totally deny it but there is a slight warmth to his skin.

Y= Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

𐚁₊⊹ just to say it to get it out of the way. abuse and things of that nature

𐚁₊⊹ and i’m gonna make these a little silly cause i don’t want to get in too deep

𐚁₊⊹ i don’t think he would like taffy because of how it gets stuck in your teeth

𐚁₊⊹ would hate the feeling of wet socks

𐚁₊⊹ would not be a fan of spicy food, or more so couldn’t handle it lmao

Z= Zzz (What are their sleep habits?)

𐚁₊⊹ oh this man does not have a consistent bed time. just whenever he can get a couple of hours in.

𐚁₊⊹ but i feel like he likes to lay on his back with his partner laying on his chest and his arm around them, or him being the big spoon.

𐚁₊⊹ i also feel like he prefers sleeping out under the stars rather than sleep in the hotel. yes the beds are nicer than a bed roll on the ground. but he prefers sleeping under the stars with the sounds of nature.

𐚁₊⊹ also falls asleep in like 20 minutes and definitely snores
