;; so I am in FL temporarily for DCP. I have to mail an absentee ballot back home to NJ, who thankfully allows such things.

However. I sent in my request for the ballot a month ago. My mom also sent me my mail-in ballot, which never arrived.

Last night I thought I finally got the absentee ballot from the county office. But when I opened it… it only contained the empty mail envelope and a form to confirm I am not trying to vote twice.

So there’s a high fucking chance that this ballot won’t make it to me before NJ’s deadline (11/11) bc it took fucking 30+ days for my apartment to “receive” my mail.

But yeah, young people don’t wanna vote, amiright?!?!

I follow over 1,000 blogs. My followers are near that amount. It’s very difficult for me to keep track of everyone and who I haven’t been able to interact with.

EMERGENCY FLASH COMMISSIONS!!

So I got hit with a $1,500 mechanic bill to replace my brakes and caliper. The shop had originally quoted $2,000 but I was able to lower it.

I don’t get paid for another week and I have to start credit card payments and rent too.

The storm is set to hit us any minute now. Winds are a high guarantee that power will be lost, and unfortunately I am without any generator since I live on a campus. The theory is our power should come back quickly bc it’s on the same grid as the ER, but we’ll see.
