Held not-so-delicately between Sasuke's hands was a previously crushed advert; ripped at the top edge where it was pinned on the town board and faded from the sun, abused from the rain. The advertisement, near intelligible as it was, called for a bodyguard for a uprising celebrity.

These sorts of jobs were usually beneath the Uchiha. Hardly paid as good as it ought to given the time, effort, and expense that goes into it. Plus, there was little need for anyone with extreme talents, such as himself, and held preference for someone who looked big and was intimidating at first glance. ( He technically did satisfy both of those latter requirements, which circles back to the first issue ). However, given the holidays and time of year, the amount of available jobs were slim and he figured the occasional non-life threatening job would be reprieve compared to the usual stint.

Shouldn't be for long anyways. A single tour? He can manage that. Half a year out of commission to recuperate from all the damage he's accrued the last years— it was a medical miracle he wasn't bed-bound.

Sasuke knocked on the tour-transport door twice, re-reading the first line of the advert before the entrance opened to some stoic looking man ( manager, maybe ) staring down with an inquisitive brow. The Uchiha cleared his throat and responded in kind, not wasting anyone's time: "I'm here for the bodyguard job," he raised the paper with his opening statement.
