She was a living and breathing idea conceptualized by the greatest minds of Mattel—last thing she had to listen to was from an afterthought paired with her to make her appealing to the masses in the 1960s her name were in the frontlines being championed by women as far as what the history book in the dreamhouse had taught her about feminism. The moment that he tried to call out her behavior her foot pressed harder to the gas pedal while her hand bopped on the horns pretending that she had selective hearing from his speech about what she can and can’t do outside of Barbieland.

“As if you could do better, you’re a Ken”, The doll spoke in an incredulous manner before she gave condescending pats to his cheek as if both chiding and reassuring a child who just asked a ridiculous question—God forbid if the Ken dolls get drivers license in Barbieland they’re always out kenning the other so she offered to drive firing all the afterburners as she speeded through dodging and weaving and then if there was traffic she went on the walkways she’d show him—she had a driving simulator game before. “You see either they make way for you, or you make the way yourself”, She glanced to his direction smiling.

She was a fast learner, this Barbie. He knew that from the beginning. She was also the most beautiful driver he had ever had. He wouldn't even make her wear a clown mask.

Her casual motion, however, made the Agent of Chaos blink hard, taken aback by her cocky behavior that made her earn an incredulous stare from him. Oh how quickly and easily he could snap her neck right that second and make that drive her final. The doll was getting too comfortable around him, too cozy. The question was — how long would he allow that.

“Listen— I don’t know what exactly the rules were in your uh, Barbiehouse, but here? It’s rude to talk like that to a guy who’s trying to give ya a compliment.”

I had to do this, even though no one hasn't really asked me these, so I'll just answer all of them lol//

✍️ - My favourite thing about writing Artist Ken is the fact that he's a very minor character in the Barbie movie, however there is potential for Artist Ken (as well as the other Kens -- sorry Ryan) to grow and develop their character in a potential spin-off. Also, I love Ncuti so that means I automatically love this character and to develop my own version of Artist Ken is the REAL reason why I love writing him!

👀 - My favourite thing about Artist Ken's appearance is.. hmm, this is difficult. I wanna say that it's his goatee and blonde hair. But I'm actually going to say either his cowboy/western outfit or the athletic outfit he wears when he's fighting on the beach -- y'know with the yellow headband?

🌌 - Artist Ken doesn't really have an alternate version, unless you count the other Kens in the Barbie movie and of course other mentions/appearances of Ken in movies and shows like Toy Story 3... so if we're going in that route, then I will have to say either Beach Ken (especially @cantevenbeachhere with their portrayal) or the portrayal of Ken from "Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse". Mainly because I used to watch that show when I was younger.

💕 - I don't think Artist Ken gets shipped with anyone really, but for me (because of the actors mainly), I ship Artist Ken with Aaron Dinkins, but again that's only because Ncuti and Connor (who plays each character, of course) played love interests in a previous thing, so...
