it is all chaos and entropy. the thing is that the chaos and entropy make it beautiful and lovely.

yes, it's true that nature and the universe are uncaring and unspecific, and that is terrifying. i have lived through some of the unfairness - i got born like this, with my body caving into itself, with this ironic love of dance when i sometimes can't stand up for longer than 15 minutes. i am a poet with hands that are slowly shutting down - i can't hold a pen some days. recently i found a dead bird on our front porch. she had no visible injuries. she had just died, the way things die sometimes.

it is also true that nature and the universe are uncaring and unspecific, and that is wonderful. the sheer happenstance that makes rain turn into a rainbow. the impossible coincidence of finding your best friend. i have made so many mistakes and i have let myself down and i have harmed other people by accident. nature moves anyway. on the worst day of my life she delivers me an orange juice sunset, as if she is saying try again tomorrow.

how vast and unknowing the universe! how small we are! isn't that lovely. the universe has given us flowers and harp strings and the shape of clouds. how massive our lives are in comparison to a grasshopper. the world so bright, still undiscovered. even after 30 years of being on this earth, i learned about a new type of animal today: the dhole.

chance echoing in my life like a harmony between two people talking. do you think you and i, living in different worlds but connected through the internet - do you think we've ever seen the same butterfly? they migrate thousands of miles. it's possible, right?

how beautiful the ways we fill the vastness of space. i love that when large amounts of people are applauding in a room, they all start clapping at the same time. i love that the ocean reminds us of our mother's heartbeat. i love that out of all the colors, chlorophyll chose green. i love the coincidences. i love the places where science says i don't know, but it just happens.

"the universe doesn't care about you!" oh, i know. that's okay. i care about the universe. i will put my big stupid heart out into it and watch the universe feast on it. it is not painful. it is strange - the more love you pour into the unfeeling world, the more it feels the world loves you in return. i know it's confirmation bias. i think i'm okay if my proof of kindness is just my own body and my own spirit.

i buried the bird from our porch deep in the woods. that same day, an old friend reaches out to me and says i miss you. wherever you go, no matter how bad it gets - you try to do good.

Hi! I was just wondering if you got my other ask about a TRT au that I want to write. I want to get the ok from you before I start anything.

I went digging for your asks and found them!

First off I feel like Deadpool when he's talking about fourth walls. A fanfic about a fanfic??? that's like... DOUBLE FANFICS

Second off I'm absolutely DELIGHTED by the idea and also really honored that someone would want to do TRT fanfic??? Just got me like

I am 100% ok with it! Anything that puts more fanfic into the world makes me happy tbh, AND it feels like a lovely continuation of the cycle that got *me* writing fic plus if i eventually take parts of trt and make it a real book as planned i would love if people ficced that IT'S THE CIIIIIIIIRCLE OF LIFE

There are only only two things I'd ask (applies to anyone else who may want to do TRT fanfic, which I'm fine with).

Proper credit back to TRT. If the fic's on AO3, then the 'This work is a remix, a translation, a podfic, or was inspired by another work' option when posting is what to use, and that'll let it pop up at the bottom of TRT under the 'works inspired by this one'. If it'll be posted on Wattpad or Tumblr, a link to TRT on AO3 and an acknowledgment is all I'd ask!

This one isn't specific to your idea (which I looked over and am totally fine with!). This is more for anyone else: please do not try to finish TRT, in the sense of trying to write the next chapters. AUs are fine, Blip fics are fine (I admittedly have a Blip side fic planned but it'll be outside of the main TRT story), various adventures, Foggy musings on canon, shenanigans, NSFW or SFW scenes, whatever, are all fine! I only draw the line at 'Pasta hasn't updated in a bit so I'm going to write the next chapters and post it'.

Other than that, you are free to move about the cabin with my blessing! I'm super excited to see what you come up with!

Hey anon! Thanks for sending me this ❤️ if I’m honest, I’m generally distrustful of bild as a news outlet. Even though they’re not always that way, they’ve just got this tabloid vibe that I find tough to swallow. Their articles always feel crafted in such a way as to pit fans and footballers against one another, and I don’t think that’s always fair.

That said, they did provide photographic evidence of them partying (supposedly). The guy in the first pic in the thread looks like Leon, but I’m not entirely sure. I couldn’t quite locate Phonzy in the pic either, but that’s not to say neither of them were there. I’ll be curious to see if other news outlets apart from bild report on it (as far as I can tell, they’re the only ones who have); maybe then we’ll get a bit more information and insight.

Now let’s talk about the party itself. Should they have gone? Probably not. Should they have stayed out that late, knowing they had training later that day? Definitely not. I understand wanting to blow off some steam (and wanting to meet up with the legendary David ‘Alaboom’ Alaba lol), but the problem with being in the public eye is that someone will inevitably find out you’re doing it. Bild’s business is quite literally finding out other people’s business, and if you want to have a party or go to one, they’ll be the first to know about it. Hell, they’ll probably invite themselves to it in some facet. Such are the perils of being in the public eye, I suppose.

I think I can understand why they went though. They were probably still buzzing off the adrenaline of their victory and wanted to celebrate. Couple that with the prospect of a reunion with an old teammate, and bam! You’ve got reason enough to party. Not only that, but Leon, Phonzy, and Serge are under scrutiny at Bayern, and maybe they thought they could escape the pressure for just one night. Besides, let’s think of football like a normal job. When you’re off the clock, that’s your time, and you can spend it how you like. Should football really be any different? Should bild or other news outlets really have the right to judge how they spend their time off? I guess the tricky thing is when you look at this event through the eyes of disgruntled Bayern fans. And that leads me to my next point:

Can I understand fan anger towards this? Of course I can. It was right after a match, and the way we’ve been playing this season doesn’t exactly scream “party time.” Far from it actually. But truth be told, if the rumors are true and they stayed out as late and partied as hard as bild seems to imply they did, the coaching staff will probably punish them accordingly; besides, if this is all true and not exaggerated in the slightest (because let’s face it, we can’t rule out bild exaggerating some details), TT actually has a chance to do something right for once and score some easy points with Bayern fans on his way out the door 😂

Quite honestly though, I’m sure showing up to training massively sleep-deprived and possibly hungover is quite the punishment in itself 😅 if they’re old enough to make their own choices, then they’re old enough to know the consequences of them ahead of time. Leon, Phonzy, and Serge aren’t the first to go out and party after a match, nor will they be the last, but that doesn’t mean it’s wise, but they’re still relatively young, and I’m guessing suffering through training while wishing for death that morning was lesson enough lmao. It would be for me anyway 😵

Now that I’ve said my piece though, I’d love to hear from you all. I know I’m biased when it comes to Leon and our Bayern squad as a whole, so I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the matter. Do you feel the same way about it as me? Do you have a different take? Or is there something you noticed that I might’ve missed? I welcome any and all opinions—just please be respectful 🫶

I have to say I genuinely believe Sean thought that Marion was going to survive the encounter w/ the mother, like first of all because of Brennan playing Sean w/ that one convo of like "Hey remember u r valuable inherently and ur amazing and I love u and I been to make sure u put urself first if anything happens" (and oooooh God I'm just realizing he didn't, did he? Sean wanted Marion to put himself first so he could survive this horrid horrid thing, and he was this close, but only because he didn't put himself first did he die ok ok cries) trying to ensure that Marion wouldn't mess around and would get himself out of danger if need be and also because he put his mom in Marion's house, and like Marion said he doesn't have anyone to go home to, he told ppl that's where his mom was its not like he was trying to hide her at Marion's house, and u don't put someone u love who's just been in a horrible place in a house that no one's going to discover her in, especially if u think ur not surviving, I think Sean put her there bcuz he thought Marion would come back and help take care of her cause Marion is a good guy (unlike he thinks he is), also I don't think Sean particularly likes the creature that he strikes a deal with, because we see him say that he was upset at what he thought was Kingsley earlier for being like I get how u feel I had a sister that passed and wanting to kill him for that but that was all the monster, and the monster continues on like that!!! It's whole thing with Sean is "we are the same, help me with my stuff I help u with urs" even in the last battle after he's made the deal tho, he isn't actually trying to help the monster, sure he brings Marion there but he doesn't sacrifice him to the mother, he goes after Jean! Who is not involved with it at all, and then he slinks off into the shadows, to not do like anything until auntie Bea comes to him!! He dies and he's happy and he sees his ma, and mentions not being a gardener and the world not needing him, but Marion is a gardener, I can't imagine Sean being happy with Marion being taken out of the world, because Marion makes it better, in the end Sean is just concerned with keeping his end of the deal, not the monsters goals, probably just to make sure his moms safe!!!

He’s here because suddenly, inexplicably, he remembers how to breathe for the first time since that magic took hold of him, because he needs only to meet a world-ending, soft understanding in that gaze to feel his impulses have steered him right. He’s here. Because, by the end of all this, he’ll look back and think to himself, Yes, of course. Where else would I have been?

But in that “here,” and in that “now,” he holds on to even a fragment of what he’ll feel later. It’s enough to get him to stay.

“It’ll do in a pinch,” Magnifico reassures him, and though his voice is low, practically squeezing out with an effort, he spills into it a gratitude that rings there in the undertow. For someone perceptive—someone like Ernesto—it’d be difficult to miss. “The, uhh… accommodations, not the tequila. For the moment.” Clarification, that which he embellishes with a quirk of a smile that doesn’t yet manage to reach his eyes.

And with that, he sidles around the other, caring a stark little about any brush of contact. “If I’m interrupting something”—he hesitates, peers over his shoulder—“well, don’t let me interrupt something.”

           No one truly wanted to be alone. Beorc, Laguz, and Branded alike were all social creatures and thrived in communities, not on their lonesome. Great cities were not build in a single day, by a single person, after all. Though Zelgius had been forced into a life of solitude due to his brand, now that everything was over, and his ex-master's plans were thwarted, he was free. Free to be himself - well as much as a fugitive could be, anyway. Though Sephiran was allowed to live and work on redemption, Zelgius had not been given that chance and if Ike or anyone close to him knew that Zelgius still drew breath, it would be over.

           But he had always found an ally in Micaiah and was grateful that despite all the chaos he had caused, she had welcomed him into Daein's castle with open arms; she had been so pleased to see that he had survived, since she had seen his apparent dead body in the tower. Daein's castle was much nicer these days, since Micaiah was now queen, and he was grateful to be back home, although this place brought back a lot of memories, mostly negative.
