((Although it's an option for him in the same way it is for Bo (provided he has the energy) Flynn switching to his human maverick is incredibly rare. He will only change over to that form for very specific reasons and usually only in one on one situations---like if he wants to shock someone or get some deeper point across, intimate reasons, and etc---otherwise he is most commonly seen using his sahash maverick. He has a tendency to avoid looking at his face while using the human maverick because of the kamito attached to it as well, lots of memories there and not all of them are pleasant. The sahash form also grounds him emotionally in a way and he is, by default, less destructive/seems to have more control of himself than if he were in his true sualokin form.))

Callum and Avie love this movie and watch it all the time. Avie loves the sass of Hades and begged her dad to let her dress up as him this year. Callum bought that temporary blue hair dye and turned her into the god of the underworld. He decided to match his daughter and go as Hercules, the himbo hero. The father and daughter who often care for the stray cat that roams the old apartment block decided to get her some wings to make her Pegasus. The trio complete! Avie ready to wreak havoc and Callum chasing after her with a cat in his arms, trying to stop her from going crazy with power.

((Kariom's go-to in regards to conflicts is to talk things out rather than to actually fight someone. This man is incredibly stubborn and is prone to emotional outbursts, that much is true, but said outbursts are never without heart or thought behind them, even if it might be hard to discern or reach in the moment.

He possesses a temper and can get agitated if someone is flat out refusing to listen to him and Kariom's not above shifting communication into an argument as a result (this is a notable problem between Kariom and Flynn) but this exhausts him quickly and he'd much rather get things over with or, preferably, come to some sort of solution. This varies depending upon the severity of a topic, of course, and if something is really bothering him he will bring it up again.

It's notable that no matter how emotional he becomes Kariom always tries his best to listen to others and come across plainly---if not bluntly---in regards to his own communication and is surprisingly quick to amend misunderstandings. Kariom actually views his openness to communicate as one of his strong suits and doesn't feel that it makes him weaker than someone who deals with issues in a more physical manner.

That being said this doesn't make him a pushover and if someone manages to force him into a direct, physical confrontation Kariom can and will hold his own.))

...Does it count as time wasting if Ed still manages to get the task done with ample time to space despite the neck-breaking pace his boss sets deadlines at? Ed isn't really one for wasting time.

Tea breaks is probably a larger time sink for Ed than is reasonable for any other human, but considering how much stress he's under, can you blame him?

He also goes for long walks to take breaks from work, particularly in the evening before settling in for a long night of coding.

I like to also imagine him doing micro crochet with embroidery floss during his lunch break when he's alone in his office, but I doubt he'd risk being caught dead with a spool of thread and crochet hook at work. Maybe he draws crochet diagrams for blanket patterns.

I know the Game Boy came out the year Flynn went missing, but I think Flynn would have loved one of those. ...Although... the original Tron movie has touchscreen computers (see: Dillinger's desk) in 1983, so I don't think it's too big of a stretch for the Game Boy to have come out a few years earlier in the Tron universe, or for Encom or another company to have developed something similar around that time. Maybe Flynn pushed Encom to develop it after he took over the company. Anyway, he's definitely playing video games instead of doing Important CEO stuff in his office. It drives Alan up the walls when he does it.

Ed frowned at a chunk of code, struggling tho follow the logic. Whoever had written this program had been sloppy with their comments, at best, and the variable names were difficult to keep track of and determine what they were or did. The rectification code was jarringly different--where the original code was chaotic, the rectification code was exceptionally methodical, and easier to follow, even if the comments were just as sparse.

He added a comment to explain what that chunk of code did, then wrote a chunk of code beneath it. He could practically feel the two bits of code meshing together more naturally, conflicting errors easing.

Stable, though far from running at optimal performance, and still riddled with errors. For now, it would have to do.

Lance & Lucy.

Most of the gifts he gives Lucy consist of expensive vintage jewelry. He could go out to any regular jewelry store, but this is more special to him & he doesn't wanna give her gifts that just anyone could get her.

Lucy has Lance wrapped around her finger and he'll do anything for her pretty much on command. He could be cozy and excited to dive into a new book, then Lucy would request something and he'd be like "🙄🙄 yes my love". I feel like sometimes she'd intentionally wait for him to start something he's excited about LOL. he always acts like it's an inconvenience even though he's happy to do it.

Valeria & Sunwoo.

Whenever Sunwoo cooks dinner for them, I feel like he incorporates vegan alternatives for Valeria. She appreciates the thoughtfulness <3

Their most intimate moments are usually in happy silence, doing their own thing. For example: Sunwoo cooking in the kitchen, while Val is in the living room playing guitar or piano. Also, since they both keep odd sleeping schedules, they def fall asleep on the couch together.

Ken & Stella.

He is very protective of her when they're out in public! Even if she has her bodyguards with her, Ken will go the extra mile and get involved if a fan or paparazzi tries to get too pushy.

Ken's a big fan of movies & cinema - so for their more intricate date nights, he'll rent out a theatre so they can have private screenings. This also includes a private, fancy dinner beforehand

Random hcs.

Luci & Astur are definitely those types of dog moms - they like to dress up Luci's dog, take him out on little road trips and adventures.

Kareena & Solo prefer to keep their relationship mostly private, or at least keep it a secret from their parents. This is because I'm sure each of their respective parents would be way too thrilled about this, and probably try to turn their relationship into a business arrangement. They'd rather avoid the drama and keep things for themselves <3

Flynn will sometimes gift Miyoung things from the antique shop - since she loves animal related trinkets, mostly porcelain cat figurines.

Gemma is very protective of Sterling, but in a verbal way. For example, if they were at a fancy party or gathering and she overheard his family make a negative comment to/about him, she's not afraid to approach them with a fierce glare and defend Sterling with such a classy, dignified retort back. Idk if that makes sense but she's gonna stand by and defend him.

favorite thing about them: I love how much PIZZAZ he adds to the early game! How can I not like a character with such a flamboyant, demanding personality whose very presence is enough to make everyone react with shock, contempt, laughter, and awe? Navarre is an ass, but a necessary ass to carry the early narrative and add so much excitement to it. I cannot help but giggle to myself everytime he appears. AND THEN, all that character growth in IVA towards becoming a better, more self-aware ghostie. Ohhh I love he so muuuch~

least favorite thing about them: Definitely the unnecessary perversion in IVA. Enough said.

favorite line: The "dawdling Casualries" line will always hold a special place in my heart, but I am also really fond of the stuff he says when you speak with him during the training drills in one of the rest spots,

Bad edit aside, can't forget the actual bros, Navarre and Gaston lmao. I really enjoyed their sibling relationship and it opened up so much insight into their familial life and personal struggles. I'm so so happy they got to rekindle at the enddd, it was so sweet

OTP: Everyone knows that I am the sole resident of the Issachar x Navarre Crack Ship Kingdom!! Idgaf that they've never canonically met nor even know of each other's existence, the POTENTIAL between them is enough to keep me content and well fed! We support random rarepairs in this house!

I also really like Flynn x Navarre too and they're my second fave Navarre ship, for much the same reasons!

nOTP: Needless to say, my NOtps would be pairing Navarre with his brother or any of the IVA kids. Eeeugh. Enough said.

random headcanon: It's something I've been wanting to analyze in more depth, and IDK how much of this is actually canon or headcanon considering, but I very much fancy the idea of Navarre always having close connections with the Samurai seniors and keeping close tabs on the Rite and new inductions. He's very astute with the going-ons in Samurai business and likely has been anxiously watching them for quite some time.

unpopular opinion: I understand that Navarre is a very unlikeable character, and he's supposed to be! But it honestly does get really bothersome seeing how much dismissal, if not outright hate, he gets in the fandom. Navarre IS an important character within the early game! It is his very antics that adds the necessary tension and tone needed to carry the early narrative and worldbuilding. It does admittedly make it hard for me to approach other SMTIV fans because I like this bean so much.

But that is okay. I am perfectly content with those who seek out, stick by, and enjoy my bean musings. :)

Anyway, I've been thinking about reorganizing stuff again.

The second is for anything else that's not RP or Tron Fandom related. This may include politics, random real world discussion, other fandom stuff unless I decide to make yet another blog for whatever fandom, art, personal ramblings, etcetera.

It's rarely uttered now save for if he's being overly fond or sentimental but Flynn had a small habit of calling Kariom a veglamb in his youth. This nickname comes from the fact that Kariom possesses a big appetite and the speed with which the lad hit a growth spurt and outgrew his caretaker.

"Which time do you want to know about? First time I pushed back when my dad was pushing me around like he usually was? I punched him so hard in the kidney he was pissing blood for a week. That was some real Flynn bonding right there, I think it was the first time he ever respected me, or close to it. How about the time a liqour store clerk was an asshole to my ex so went back and held up the store even though I was fresh out of prison and probation. In the DnD world, I feel like they get a small cabin? cottage? tinyhome? (idk what the right descriptor is lmao) on the edge of town because neither of them want to be too close to anyone else. 1.2 Flynn is the worst kind of NPC in this verse so he never really gets a job as such but I feel like he starts maybe making things like little wood carvings or something that he sells to bring some money in so he feels like he's contributing.

In modern verse, they live right in the middle of the city because it's easier for Eira to pickpocket, should she want to. I feel like in this verse they enjoy the conveniences of the city and wouldn't move away - or maybe only for a good reason.

In a verse where Flynn's sealskin gets repaired, he takes Eira swimming with him. He is so careful with her in the water but so playful, butting at her feet and legs and just generally showing off.

They probably have at least one kid, but like, later, when they're much more settled. Flynn worries that his blindness (even tho it's because he's a seal - could be passed down, but they have a kid who's the spitting image of Eira and as much mischief to boot.

Headcanon / Notes of my muse portrayal of the CC kids following HoFas

So not a ton is going to change; aside from the fact none of them have titles. They're still the same idiots all sharing one brain cell. Just now they're idiots who were born and remained full powered. LOOK OUT WORLD.

Lidia and Ruhn are clearly still in the Aux. As are Dec and Flynn and Hunt.

Bryce is running the antique shop where Dani and Seren probably hang out a whole lot. Naevia too. Giving Bryce this sweet feeling of nostalgia.

Someone needs to bring me a grown Bran and Ace. As they have about 16 years on their little sister. Which I think gives them a relationship a lot like Bryce and Ruhn once had -- without the years of tension and separation.

Let's just all assume they found a way to preserve the first light. Either by collab-ing with the Ocean Queen or instituting a tax system along with this new government. Cause a lot of the fun of Crescent City is that it's an Urban/Modern fantasy with magic AND tech.

Also I kind of really want to add a Tharion/Sathia and Ithan/Perry kiddo to the mix. We need to keep the LARGE GROUP OF IDIOTS theme going.

Adrian and Maddox are most likely no longer training to be bodyguards as the titles are gone but they are training to be Aux and so there is SOME expectation they'll stop the stupid shit. They never do.

So yeah...the biggest thing that would change would be the idea of the Drop. So obvs the whole thing with Seren and the Drop will be cut out but I think "Drop Parties" might still be a thing. But instead of being tied to an actual drop they've become the Vanir version of a Sweet Sixteen almost. Held when a Vanir reaches 18/19.

ㅤyessss, that's actually one of byan's better traits, even though there is sometimes something a bit harsh or peer pressure-y in the way they go about it. they absolutely do encourage flynn to just chill out, have a good time, and not care what anyone else thinks, though the words tend to come out really bluntly or they're dragging him along regardless of how comfortable he is. same goes with encouraging him out of his comfort zone, though that can end up in more of a similar territory to that of your bully in high school pointing and laughing and calling you names until you do the thing, which isn't always helpful. there are also times where they're actually pretty nice about it though!! it all just depends on the situation and their mood, they're very inconsistent and full of surprises smh.

i loooove the idea of flynn using his blindness to get them out of trouble though. i think byan finds it really funny in a lot of cases just because people will so suddenly stop questioning everything once his blindness is brought into it, regardless of how relevant it is to the circumstances. ...they also end up appreciating it a lot because there aren't a lot of people out there who watch their back like that, especially in those situations where they deserve whatever trouble they were in. will they ever say this to him directly? no, god no, absolutely not. but they do express it in their own weird little ways that seem completely unrelated.
