Christmas with the Crains would have:

- Shirley insisting they don't have to bring anything for the dinner (Leigh and Trish bring dessert anyway)

- Steve and Shirley bicker about something minor but shut up when Luke looks at them dejected.

- Theo and Trish probably having a quickie somewhere

- Jayden and Allie tries to teach the adults to play Among Us, Luke and Trish are familiar with the game, Theo doesn't but quickly catches on, Shirley tries to but she's a dinosaur

- All the adults got the kids presents, even for baby Eleanor

- Each sibling reveals a surprise during dinner: Luke gets a course in college as a concept artist, Steve is moving on from horror and his literary agent thinks his new work is promising, Theo and Trish are going to adopt a daughter and Shirley is willing to support Luke financially

- Steve also reveals he has kept Luke's share of the royalty for The Haunting of Hill House, which he teased he could "get a fucking PhD like Theo did" (Theo laughed, Shirley glared at him mouthed 'language')

- Shirley had to hide most of her booze or else Theo would finish them in one go.

- The kids get curious with Trish's tattoos, and Trish like the human sunshine she is, shares with them why she got each of them

- Luke also spends time with his niece and nephew, especially baby Eleanor, who is most quiet when Uncle Luke holds her.

- At the end of the day when the kids are taken to bed, the Crains just sit together in silence, 3 candles lit before them in remembrance of Nell and their parents. Their spouses sit with them silently, knowing this is important for them.

- Some of them might cry, usually Luke or Shirl. Theo just stares blankly, her hand holding Trish's tightly. Steve just smiles and chooses to remember all the precious moments he spent with his dad when they were young

do you have any headcanons for the haunting of hill house? I always felt that steve (being the oldest) and theo (with her attitude) growing up would be the biggest lers. I also thought that through "the twin thing" nell and luke could sometimes feel when the other was being tickled

Theo and Steve are definitely giant lers, 1000% correct

Steve:

- Definitely a massive lee

- Big brother bear honestly

- the tickle monster was coming for his younger siblings way often

- Luke and Nell were his biggest targets, Luke would run and Nell would just stay and take it

- Steve would just follow Luke and grab him around the waist, picking him up

- Not really ticklish except in a few places

- snorts when he laughs

Shirley:

- surprisingly really ticklish

- Tickled most by Steve n Nell

- She’s got really ticklish ears and elbows 

- feet are her worst spot

- really airy giggles

- she’s so soft when she tickles her siblings uwu

- she tickles them to cheer them up, but always soft and she has mercy

Theo:

- not really a lee because of her touch thing, but when she has her gloves on she is an evil ler

- tickles her siblings whenever they’re irritating her, with little to no mercy

- Steve and Luke are on the receiving end of most of this torture because they annoy Theo the most

- knows everybody’s worst spots and takes full advantage, she loves blackmail material against her siblings

- when she’s tickling shirley and nell she’s much softer, and she definitely has more mercy, she’s usually tickling them playfully

Before I do Luke and Nell, uh yes I love your headcanon anon, tickling is definitely part of the Twin Thing. One of them will be getting tickled and the other will start giggling from wherever they are, their siblings knew this like right away. The one who’s not getting tickled usually feels it softer, which is what lets Theo and Steve be so merciless on Luke.

Nell:

- super bubbly, adorable laughter

- really ticklish behind her ears, like Shirl

- most ticklish on her tummy

- always loved tickling, just lays there and giggles

- not much of a ler unless it comes to Luke, but she has to find loopholes to the Twin Thing to tickle him

Luke:

- Hated tickling when he was younger, especially in his teens when his sibs would tickle him to get him to behave

Headcanon: Theo loves crime stories and watch shows like Mandhunter and Making a Murderer at Netflix while Trish loves horror ones. They go away for a week and Luke stays over and he's so confused 'cause their list is so different! Later he learns that while Trish likes to watch Theo's shows and movies, Theo rarely sits down to watch Trish's ones.

PASSADO:  Antigamente conhecida como Amaris, antes de perder o nome para ser conhecida como a Loba, era apenas uma plebeia. Vivia com seus pais ausentes e um meio-irmão  (que só descobriu ser, posteriormente, “meio”)  e nesse meio tempo teve de passar a cuidar deste sozinha, quando foram abandonados. Por alguns anos ela buscou justificativa para o sumiço, achando uma bruxa na floresta que fez um acordo com ela: em troca de encontrar seus pais, Amaris teria de assumir com sua parte no acordo quando fosse requisitada, e assim aceitou. Ao descobrir que apenas tinham negligenciado os filhos e viviam muito bem longe deles, Amaris repugnou a ideia e passou a ser uma pessoa mesquinha e muito centrada em seu egoísmo. A bruxa, anos mais tarde, foi cobrar sua parte no acordo e Amaris se negou, sendo assim amaldiçoada pela outra em se transformar a cada lua cheia em uma besta sanguinária, a primeira da espécie  - e aquilo afetou a seu irmão também, a única pessoa com quem ela ainda se importava. Durante mais do que umas centenas de anos, ela cultivou o título de Loba Má, que assombrava a Floresta Encantada, mas tudo mudou no momento em que conheceu Ruby Red. Por algum tempo ela foi a salvação da Loba, mas em um surto por tentar matar a vovózinha da jovem, Ruby se protegeu e matou a Loba. No purgatório, ela encontra-se com Tânatos e ele poupa sua vida, retornando-a para o mundo mais uma vez. Mentindo para a matilha de que Ruby era uma desertora e omitindo sobre sua morte desde então, a Loba ainda possui incentivos egoístas com relação a seu coração partido e não mediria esforços em se sacrificar, se necessário, para cumprir com a vingança.

PRESENTE: Conhecida antigamente como a Loba Má, ali em Storybrooke ela é Sienna Amaris Bozkurt Corvinus. Quase ninguém sabe de sua vida na cidade, sendo um próprio mistério a razão pela qual ia e voltava nas memórias alheias, tal como a fundação do cassino. Sempre pareceu uma garotinha solitária e apática, gostando mais de estar sozinha do que na presença de outros. Isso era comum por justa causa, dado conhecimento que tinha da vida passada, mas o motivo pelo qual sua inconstância era notável, se tratava de suas transformações a cada lua cheia. Naquelas memórias, então, era acrescido apenas que ela simplesmente sumia vez ou outra da cidade, às vezes por dias, às vezes por meses… Fosse o que fosse, quando retornou de verdade mesmo, levantou o Playful Hearts na intenção de corrigir a falta de dinâmica em sua vida, e assim pode se transformar na mulher ácida e que não parece levar nada a sério. Seu rancor pela Chapeuzinho e, especialmente, sua Granny, ainda perpetua mesmo depois de décadas, e talvez ela nunca seja capaz de superar o trauma vivido.

CICATRIZES: Uma que a afeta até hoje não só pela marca física que deixou, como pela emocional. Quando Chapeuzinho a atacou, matando-a, a loba ficou com um aberto no peito e foi parar no limbo das almas até ser poupada de volta pelo Carrasco do submundo. A cicatriz, no entanto, permaneceu, e ela não consegue esquecer a traição que sofreu sempre que se olha no espelho e vê a marca abaixo do peito, na região de seu coração. Outras cicatrizes menores por aventuras externas são curadas ou suavizadas pela licantropia, a depender da gravidade delas, menos esta no peito por ter sido um golpe fatal que culminou em sua morte.

My headcanon on how Theo and Trish got close in the end

Theo x Trish

- On that night when Trish was ready to leave after the booty call, asked her to stay. Trish stayed, though she's not sure why Theo only stared at a corner blankly for the rest of the night.

- when they buried Nell Trish only stayed close to Theo and be with her. Theo didn’t say anything, but Trish just rubbed her back to comfort her. (she was actually surprised when Theo didn’t shy away).

- They didn’t talk until they were back at the funeral home, where Theo seemed lonely and refused to talk to her family. Trish cracked a joke about alcoholism, and that was the first time she saw Theo smile with affection.

- Theo thanked her for coming and apologized again for being hostile at the funeral.

- after the funeral Theo actually thought of asking Trish out, until Luke stole her car and the whole shenanigan with Hill House happened.

- after Hill House Theo surprised her by texting her to ask her out on a dinner date. Trish got so nervous she was almost late because she couldn’t decide what outfit to wear. (should she go for modest? what if she gets disinterested? Or the sexy one? But it’s supposed to be a date, not a booty call)

- she went for modest in the end. During the dinner they got to know each other. Trish loves Theo’s wit, and Theo likes how warm Trish feels when her bare fingers slid across Trish’s knuckles.

- In fact, Trish only realized Theo wasn’t wearing gloves when Theo took her home. They didn’t have sex that night, but it’s okay. Both knew they are starting something genuine and they are looking forward to it.

- After a few more successful dates, late night texting, sleepovers at each other’s houses, Theo decides it’s time for her to move out with Trish. Trish agrees without hesitation. Shirley is, of course, proud of her little sister (but will forever miss their late night talks and Theo’s never-ending stash of beer).

- After moving in together, Theo never wears the gloves anymore. Not when Trish is always there to hold her hand.

— apesar de não ser uma vilã original da maldição e ainda assim estar acordada, sienna foi corrompida pela crueldade e maldade existente dentro de si, ainda que suas razões sejam inerentes às dos demais vilões. ela não os apoia, não está do lado deles, tal qual os mesmos também não são inteiramente confiáveis uns para os outros, mas isso não quer dizer que não se aproveite vez ou outra dos benefícios de se ter “aliados”.

— com intuito de livrar-se do rancor que guardava de Chapeuzinho na Floresta, Sienna se apegou à história falsa que sua persona de Storybrooke carrega. Solitária como foi, esteve sempre cercada de amigos na infância e lembra-se de ter se afastado deles quando cresceu mais. Claro que, na realidade de sua perspectiva, foi apenas um surto de descontrole. Sempre que Sienna perdia o controle do lobo interior, agia fora do habituado e não podia fazer nada com isso, a não ser afastar-se de todos até que estivesse finalmente sã. Talvez por isso quando voltou a Storybrooke, fundou a Playful Hearts - era muito melhor imergir nos “corações divertidos” do que lembrar-se que não tinha um para chamar de seu. E até hoje a Bozkurt guarda muito rancor da vovózinha de Ruby, assim como tem como foco estragar toda e qualquer felicidade das duas.

HEADCANONS IMPORTANTES :

— A Loba Má nunca foi, de fato, má. Seu instinto podia ser selvagem, pois ela era livre para ser e estar como bem entendesse. Claro que isso interferia na vidinha pacata de alguns moradores de Red Rose, mas a verdade era que a Loba nunca teve intenção de viver uma vida sem aventuras e muita emoção. Por isso mesmo que quando conheceu Ruby Red, apaixonou-se. O espírito da jovem mesclava aos seus princípios e isso era fascinante, principalmente por ser o primeiro contato da Loba que não resultou em violência. Pelo menos, não até ela mostrar as garras...

— Na época, sua obsessão beirou a loucura quando acabou por descontrolar-se e findar a humanidade de Ruby com a maldição da licantropia. E assim, uma vez que a jovem desapareceu por sua culpa, a Loba buscava desesperadamente por sua amada para tentar ajudá-la. Foi aí que descobriu que a avó da mesma estava procurando por ela. Num ato de selvageria, natural desta, a Loba entendeu que a única pessoa que jamais permitiria que Ruby e ela estivessem juntas, era a avó, tomando a atitude então de invadir a casa para tentar matá-la. Porém, surgindo em defesa da senhora, Ruby encontrou e atacou a Loba no peito, matando-a em confusão e mágoa por tamanha traição.

— Foi para o limbo e ali, de encontro com o percursor das almas penadas, Tânatos, ela ganhou mais uma chance de viver… E esta faria valer a pena. Recheada dos sentimentos mais negativos e deprimentes, a Loba rendeu-se ao lado selvagem de seu ser e não consegue mais controlar a si mesma quando está no ápice de seus sentimentos e sensações. Machucada, amargurada, corrompida… O animal que suspeitavam que fosse, agora existia realmente.

Hermes 5 as the Crain Siblings from Haunting of Hill House

1. Luke Castellan as Steve Crain (Denial)

if you've watched Hill house you would know that there's a theory about the Crain Siblings as the stages of grief

and Steve is DENIAL

and I know that canonically speaking Luke Castellan looked reality in the eye and fought it

but these are headcanons :P /lh

BUT Steve is actually kinda the same imo, Luke was just aware of the mystical, mythological, and supernatural

they both rationalize everything so everything makes sense

and they hate it, they reject it

also BIG BROTHER TRAUMA

they're the ones that receive everybody's trauma, leaving them confused on how to deal with their own

which makes them resort to the extreme (Vasectomy for Steve, a war for Luke)

they also have this syndrome where Big Brothers™ care for their siblings so much they do things that they don't know hurt their siblings because in their traumatized mind, they're protecting their siblings, they're doing what they think is best

even though it actually hurts their siblings

Luke started as a great big brother then started resenting the responsibility of it all but it doesn't mean he stopped loving his siblings but he really hates that his life revolved around being a good big brother, a good example, a good teacher not only in his cabin but also to camp

2. Travis Stoll as Shirley Crain (Anger)

as i said before these are just fun meta slash headcanons but mostly hcs so don't get mad at me

because I'm gonna start projecting being creative here aka what i say when i start writing angst and making a character as depressed as i am

Shirley is the second stage of grief which is Anger

and I know canon Travis Stoll is this fun, goofy character

but there are minor similarities here that I wanna explore so I know I'm not totally reaching here

Shirley had a line in episode one which went like this: "That's why everybody dumps their shit on me, Steve. Because I'm the oldest, that's my job. Oh wait, that's you."

One day, Travis Stoll was just suddenly dumped with the responsibility of being Head Counselor of the BIGGEST cabin in camp-

oh wait, not anymore since his SUPERSTAR BIG BROTHER POSTER BOY THAT EVERYBODY LOVES took probably more than half his siblings AND the other Cabin Eleven occupants to be traitors

including Ethan Nakamura who I headcanon as his boyfriend childhood best friend

yeah that's the thing, Luke was well respected and their cabin wasn't the coolest, but everyone loves them because everybody started there

suddenly their Cabin's-no, their CAMP'S pride and joy turned out to be a traitor and Travis Stoll had to deal and clean up that mess

like "i know we were just killing each other last night but hey you don't have anywhere to sleep and you're still my brother, so welcome back I guess?"

and another similarity with Shirley is they both pretend everything's fine with their lives

like Travis probably never got to be angry publicly

he had to be strong for their siblings, had to prove that not all Hermes kids were traitors, had to joke all the time so his siblings could feel just a little bit better and the other campers would remember that the Hermes kids are fun-loving people who would play pranks and make you laugh

He probably felt like a fraud a lot, like Shirley did

anyways this has gotten long, how obvious is it that he's my favorite character

3. Connor Stoll as Theodora Crain (Bargaining)

you ever just wonder why connor had to be co-counselor instead of just travis, his big brother?

that's right it's because middle children knows best

theo had a line in the show where she said something like "the only reason why i stayed is to help you maintain that idea of you in your head" to shirley

and though connor would never hurt travis like that

i feel like he is the type of sibling that would be incredibly supportive but won't take anybody's shit

he's there to be travis's moral and emotional support, because he knows travis is already everyone's emotional support person, including him, and that his brother has no one to turn to

it's canon that connor is the planner Stoll, he's the one that makes plans while Travis is the trickier one

He would rationalize everything, also the one that won't forgive his traitorous siblings so easily

one of theo's stark character trait was her setting boundaries and i feel like that would fit connor well

like "you thought you could just walk back in this cabin after everything you've done? no. get back out."

we also saw how he had a ritual of sending hermes peanut m&m's

he prolly prayed a lot to bring his siblings back, the "i swear ill be better, I'll be a good son, a better brother just bring them back" type of prayer

until he gave up and said "fuck it im over yall im setting boundaries"

anyways im so sleepy idk what I'm writing anymore

tl;dr the rational person who sets personal boundaries trying to fix everything or prevent shit in advance

4. Chris Rodriguez as Luke Crain (Depression)

now this one is easy therefore it won't be long (also we dk much about chris anyways sooo 😭)

it's easy to think about how Chris is the "Depression" in Hermes 5

canonically, Chris was an unclaimed son of Hermes, which meant he lived in the Hermes cabin, WITH his siblings, WITHOUT ever being claimed

Luke Crain was often dismissed as the "seeing things" sibling and no one ever believed him

now imagine little Chris Rodriguez telling everyone he was a Hermes kid and being dismissed all the goddamn time 😭

also him being told that he's just imagining things, he's not actually a genetic thief, he just got good because he lived with thieves

not to mention how he went insane in the Labyrinth and actually kept "seeing things"

Luke Crain was an addict and though there weren't anything in canon that would imply that for Chris, it would be a great hc imo

5. Cecil Markowitz as Nell Crain (Acceptance)

another easy one so it won't be as long as the others

Cecil seemed to be a younger Hermes kid and may or may not have been involved in the Titan War but either way he's the Hermes kid that has been featured the most in the more recent books which means he's the "aftermath Hermes kid"

Nellie d-worded in the show but in some ways she was the one who metaphorically "saved" her siblings from their traumas

Acceptance

Cecil is the youngest and seemed to be more or less stable (ofc he's just a minor character but whatever 🙈)

He seems to be a great friend to Will Solace and that would totally extend to his siblings

"I loved you completely and you loved me the same and that's enough. The rest is confetti."

think about Cecil teaching his older brothers about forgiveness, because that's what their cabin need, they need to forgive themselves from sins they DID NOT commit, and forgive each other for the ones they did

he may be more ignorant or naive than his siblings tbh

part of it is because he was one of the younger ones and Cabin Eleven had more older people than the others therefore allowing them to protect the kids
