My favorite part of the rpc is YOU In all seriousness, it's been incredible how many of the people who are now dearest to me are folks I've met on here. I can't understate how much people like @through-fire-and-flame, @theblackwarden and so many others have touched my heart, touched my life, become a part of my everyday routine. I've met some of my absolute dearest friends on here, I won't tag everyone because itll never end lmao but to make it simple I'd say my favorite part has been meeting incredible people like you, bri, cat, lani etc. In terms of things I struggle to write, I wanna say I'm a pretty flexible writer and can get through almost anything, but I struggle to stay focused on fluff and other more lighthearted interactions. I'm pretty bad at keeping things surface level, which is why I prefer plotting. Disregarding RP, I LOVE politicking and complex webs of political nonsense but I'm really bad at writing it rip

⋆ RP PET PEEVES?: probably just...not being given anything to work with in threads or in plotting circumstances. i try to come to people with ideas when i reach out for plots myself, and always put a lot of effort into ensuring my replies haves something for my partners to respond to and build upon, so it's frustrating when someone hits me up to plot with no idea what they're interested in exploring or gives me a reply that's just their character reacting to mine with nothing new to build from.

⋆ EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS?: oh boy i've been roleplaying since i was a kid lmao. i originally rped primarily on forums. first, it was a hp forum (rip) and then years later i joined a dragon age forum, then a multifandom crossover forum that was a lot of fun. from there i decided to try out tumblr and it really stuck. tl;dr: i've been roleplaying on and off since i was about eleven years old, so that's like...22 years of experience???

⋆ FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT?: it truly depends on my mood tbh! i can write all three under the right circumstances, and i enjoy them all in their own way. i guess i lean more towards fluff and angst over smut, but i have been known to discuss the sex lives of our muses with my partners (as long as everyone is comfortable with it), and then occasionally write it out with them in thread or meme form.

⋆ PLOTS OR MEMES?: both! it helps me to keep a thread going if i have a general idea of where we both want it to end up. but i also love getting memes and replying to them and continuing them into threads spontaneously. it works a bit better for me than starter calls, which i am notorious for never finishing (sorry!).

⋆ LONG OR SHORT REPLIES?: again, both! shorter replies are easier for my brain these days, but i love a longer thread as well. it just takes me a while to get around to replying to longer things, as i want to give my partner plenty to work with (even if i can't always match their exact length).

⋆ TIME TO WRITE?: literally whenever the muse strikes, which is unfortunately highly sporadic and constantly bouncing from muse to muse.

⋆ ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S)?: all of my muses have a little bit of me in them, i think. that's one of the joys of writing. finding parts of yourself in others and exploring or processing your own experiences through fiction can be liberating and cathartic (though i think it's also important to see and work with characters who are different from you). so yeah. there might be more of me in my ocs than my canons, but i like to think there is a little shard of me in all of them. <3

Significance behind your URL?:  Well at first the name was called Violahxme, however everyone kept thinking it was Violent hime when in fact the name was named a by a freind of mine who is no longer around on tumblr and it signafied her eyes which are a indigo violet. the name now is akarxuu which Aka being the play on words of akatsuki, Meaning dawn- and Rxuu being Ryuu- which means dragon so the name means 'Dawn dragon.'

EXPERIENCE/HOW MANY YEARS?: Since 2012ish, where I had another OC that I played (and that's how I met my toxic ex, who kept me away from Tumblr rp for a long time 🙃). So... technically 12 years, if you count the dark ages 💀

FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT?: Angst or hurt/comfort 100000%, I can't do fluff with no plot, and hardly ever smut anymore.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES?: I am incapable of writing less than 2 paragraphs. There's so much more nuance and so many more interesting plots to be had with long form. Plus my characters have a lot of Feelings™ that MUST be shared!!

PET PEEVES?: Being the only one to put effort into plotting. I always make sure I have at least 1 idea before I approach someone, and if not, I make sure to be active with my responses to figure something out. Other than that, OCs with little or no about info. No mun ages listed. Putting pressure on me to reply outside of a simple, polite reminder/inquiry.

RP PET PEEVES? literally just too much rules. i’m not one to talk but my guide is literally a contradictory to the type of rules i’ve come across on here. idk it makes me nervous and i hate, hate, hateeee feeling like i’ve overstepped someone’s rules. also i can’t stand this need for ‘aesthetics’ when it comes to writing. some of the best writing partners/ friends i’ve met through roleplay were ignored because they didn’t make their text small or used gifs, etc. this is why i don’t deprive myself of writing with people because you never know it might be your best experience yet!

I think one of the most tragic things is Caryn Pines and motherhood.

Like when we see her, it's quite obvious that she loves her sons. And that like many families, has a soft spot for Stanley. Because he's the possible baby of the family, her little surprise, her free spirit. Out of everyone other than Ford, Caryn was someone who loved Stanley. And who was in his corner. An example of this was when her husband and Ford were excited about the school and she immediately cut in to ask-

"What about Stanley?"

Just from that little bit we can see that she loves him. That she's always thinking of her son. So imagine you're her, and then you lose your son because your husband kicked him out. A teenager who can't face the world yet, and yet you're powerless to do anything. So you have to wait for your boy to reach out to you, and every day you wonder if he's somewhere safe. If he's someplace warm, and if he's eating a hot meal and sleeping in a warm bed. And for awhile that gives you some sort of comfort, because your baby's still out there somewhere. Not with you, but still in this world.

And then you hear about it.

The firey car crash.

And the person in that inferno was your son. Your free spirit, your baby.

Can you imagine, how devastating that'd be? To learn that your son is dead, and had died alone and in pain and fear. And the kicker?

There wasn't even a funeral held for him.

It's almost as if Stanley never existed. Like he was never important. And that probably ate at Caryn Pines in ways that cut deeply. Because Stanley was important to her, was important to Stanford and now he's gone and she didn't even get to say goodbye to her boy. She'll forever have a hole in her heart, a piece missing because her Stanley is gone. And she'll never be able to fill it because no one can replace her baby. And we don't know if Caryn's still alive or not, so there's the horrifying possibility. That she died believing that Stan was dead. That she died in her grief that only a mother can feel. That she died, unaware that the boy she grieved for was next to her the entire time. Forced to pretend to be his brother, in order to save him from his own creation and fix mistakes that he believes he made that hurt Ford.

So close to her son, yet so far away.

A tragedy.

LMAO SUGAR BABY DANNY AND SUGAR DADDY TIM WHILE IN REALITY DANNY IS THE GHOST KING AND PROBABLY WAYY RICHER THAN TIM

Danny in Alley Boyfirends is the Ghost King, but he has no money to his name. Pariah Dark was defeated by the Ancients, and in the wake of their victory, scavengers stole his once vast territories and wealth.

When Danny took the throne, nothing valuable was left in his castle. Not even furniture.

Danny has the power of the Infinite Realms and the respect of most of his citizens, but his influence is limited to cracks between realities, and most of the zone is now run by more minor independent leaders.

Despite having the crown, Danny is more like the aged wizard in the magic tower, who only interacts with his people when they come looking for him. That was why he was living so close to Crime Alley, where the landlord would randomly shut off utilities.

Things may change when he fully dies or chooses to live full-time in the Zone, though that is not something he wants to do since Danny still considers himself more human than a ghost.

Everything Tim, a rich boy from old money, does is a genuine shock to him because "What do you mean this is pocket change to you??? There are more than two zeros in that number!"

He doesn't even realize he's a sugar baby....yet.

what is/are your favorite genre/themes to write?

TRAGEDY, tragedy tragedy tragedy. I like drama, I like when the pain is inevitable, I like when fate fucks a character over hard. Of course, you know this about me already.

I also really like writing romance, toxic or not (surprisingly) though of course I have a soft spot for the former. I just think morally dubious dynamics are interesting to explore in the safety of rp/writing, they can add a lot of spice to a ship. But I'm not against giving a couple their happy endings. I'm kind of a hopeless romantic at heart.

One day, about a month ago, I went to my usual grocery store to do some shopping. Thinking, I will buy some Myllyn Paras Makaroni, cause we're out of it and it's the default macaroni that everyone keeps stocked in their pantry. I reach the pasta aisle and am greeted by empty shelves. What? Is there another pandemic that I'm unaware of? Is it the war in Ukraine? No. Turns out that the one machine that churns the macaroni for the whole Finland is broken. And that's how the Finns faced a great macaroni shortage in the summer of 2023.
