The one time she just takes a ride with her motorbike to some random cities... and what does happen? She ends up in one with zombies roaming around. Or at least they seemed like zombies. With all the blood, and weird walking... and trying to bite her. Well, it wasn’t to hard though to get ride of them for her. It had it’s advantages to be a mage. And what kind of person would she be if she didn’t checked out what was going on here? So the woman abandoned her motorbike in some empty alley, before she made her way to a place in which her shadow felt the first human presence. Or at least where Nox thought he had felt one.

And what a joy... it was a police department. She never liked police officers, but well. She will make a exception this time. So Lilli went inside, with a little help of magic given that most entrances were blocked, and soon found the apparent human which her shadowy partner felt. He was crouched down, peeking through a keyhole. He also hadn’t seem to notice her approaching from behind. Which was pretty dumb actually. What would he had done if she was one of these things?

The mage just raises a brow, lightly amused, at Leon’s reaction, and gave him a small grin. 

“Vell, I vas just checking out vhat’s going on here so... I came here, Mister officer!”

Lilli quickly answers, before rolling her eyes a little.

“Restricted area? Do you mean this staion of the whole damn city?”

Was it weird that she was so... calm right now? Probably... Does she care? Not exactly...

Lilli had felt something... strange nearby. And for just a moment, she had thought that it was Ghadius presence she had noticed. But there was darkness missing that she would usual feel. How strange! And who would she be, if she didn’t checked that out? Curiosity kills the cat, after all!

So the mage quickly moves through the shadows, to the place where she guessed said source of that presence was, and as she stepped out of the shadows... she found herself at the top of a tower...

                           ... Mistakes were made...

If she had known that she would arrive at such a place, she would have thought a second time about checking out what was going on up here. Damn that fear of heights... But she should be actually fine... Well, as long as she doesn’t look down from here that is, So without even thinking more about how high up she must be, Lilli started to look around for anything that could give her that feeling. Or rather, for someone. And it took her just a second to spot the wind spirit. He didn’t seemed to notice her though, even when she approached a little closer to eye him, and... he looked kinda sad.

Her question was asked, yet she actually meant if it isn’t getting lonely if he sits there all alone. But after he didn’t turned to look at her, even when he gave her an answer, the shadowmancer guessed that he still not fully noticed that there was actually someone up here besides him.

“ If it gets lonely, zhen vhy do you sit here all by yourself? “

She still didn’t seem as worried as he hoped. Yep, she definitely had some guts. Might as well accept this. 

For how long would she keep up with that bravery, he wondered…?

The puddle moved, and yet his hands remained firm around the human’s legs as the black goo reached her back once more, and finally from it a figure raised, with a tiny smile pasted on his face. Turn on the lights, it’s time to get into action.

“…I didn’t hear a please.” he growled, before letting out a loud laughter as he moved quickly his own arms, addempting to make the girl fall before returning under the floor, turning in a giggling puddle of ink.

She turned her head when the ink demon raised from the from the goo on the ground. Okay. That was totally not a poltergeist. Beings like couldn’t take on a solid shape. While she thought more about this, the mage didn’t payed attention to the arms which hold onto her legs, and soon she fell backwards and onto her back when they moved. If it wasn’t a poltergeist then was it maybe a-

“I̡ th͟i͝nk it̛’͜s҉ ҉a͝ d̴e̷m͡o͞n͏..͜.”

Her shadow suddenly spoke loudly, but didn’t appeared yet.

“Yeah... I guessed zhat too...”

Lilli muttered annoyed, and slowly sat up. Her gaze wandered around in the room again, but the ink-figure had disappeared again, just a puddle of the black goo was still there. She could hear it giggling though. So it wasn’t gone yet. 

“Hey! Is zhis how you handle a lady? How rude...”

“Hm... I feel like it’s a good idea to get drunk today...

Vho is gonna join me~?”

A letter: "My dear Lilli, we don't know each other much yet, but I know that we have something in common. You seem to be very sweet and kind, even if you might not think of yourself that way. I just can't help but be slowly falling in love with you. Will you grant me my only wish and be my Valentine? With love and adoration," The signature was there but it was furiously erased. The letter smells of fire smoke and herbs.

“… Oh…”

No matter how often Lilli read that letter, she couldn’t think of anyone who could have written it. The signature was erased, and she didn’t really recognized the smell… or? Who the hell smelled of smoke, and… well, she couldn’t tell what the other scent was. Maybe medicine? ‘Sweet and kind’ made her chuckle lightly though. Yeah she can be kind, if she wants to, but sweet? Where did they get that idea? Now the shadowmancer wasn’t sure either what to think of that letter either. Maybe it’s a joke? The possibility was there…

One question remained though…

“How should I give them an answer, if I vant to be zheir valentine, when I have no idea vho zhey are…?”

outside her door, whenever she'll open it, lilli can find a nice, red flower on the "welcome" carpet, and a small letter beside it, written with uncertain hand, that recites in german: « i'm afraid i'm not very good with presents, but i hope you'll like this little thought anyways. happy valentine's day! johann würde » / auuponle ;3c

She just wanted to leave to get some food as she discovered the flower, and letter on her door. 

Her cheek felt suddenly so hot, and even hotter after she actually read the letter. That was… really sweet. She… hasn’t gotten since a long time anything on valentine’s day. And she had never expected that Würde would get her something! Even if it is something small, Lilli couldn’t but smile brightly as she placed the flower inside a small vase with water. 

She surely wants to get him something as well. Maybe she should bake him something?

Oh boy. Oh boy… Is he asking her for a dare? It sure sounded like it! Lilli doesn’t know how to answer at first, and just stared dumbfounded at Rufus. Just after a moment she found her voice again.

“O-Of course!”

The woman spoke, a little to loud, and eager than she had wanted. She quickly clears her throat, while her cheeks went a little red, before she tried again, smiling at him this time though.

“Ahem… I-I mean… Sure. I would love to!”

Can she get even more awkward by now? It didn’t actually mattered to her at all where they would go for a date. As long as he is around she is… really happy.

Lilli slowly takes a drag from her cig, before blowing out the smoke, obviously taking her time to reply.
