Hello! Sorry to bother, but I’ve been trying to find this fic for ages and it beginning to drive me insane. I’ve checked all the tags it would be under but still no luck. The fic was essentially about Dean and Cas being overly coupley (but without actually having gotten together yet) and Sam being frustrated. I’ve checked the POV Sam tag, Oblivious Dean/Cas tags, and others like 5+1 things but nada 😞 Here are the specific scenes I remember from it: - Dean and Cas share a twizzler back and forth which grosses Sam out enough that he calls someone to complain (I pretty sure Charlie) - Shortly after this Dean and Cas argue about Cas having used Dean’s toothbrush - I’m pretty sure this fic also includes a scene where Dean is taking a shower and Cas comes in to just sit and talk to him and Sam is like “hey wtf?” And Dean just goes “no this is normal” That’s all I can remember with accuracy. I’ve read through several other similar fics like “Dude being Dudes” and “Sharing is Caring” and am sure it’s not those. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you so much 😊

It’s in the Alpha Beta Omega universe, dean steals the impala from cas(technically kidnapped him and baby pulls a gun on cas) he left his abusive alpha who I think was one of Castiel brothers and he is making his way to Sam, they go on a road trip together and fall in love. I think they end up being true mates, hopefully it can be found and if it got deleted hopefully someone has a copy. I appreciate you all very much!

It was truly beautiful and you could swear that if you hadn’t already fallen for Copia it had certainly happened now, right in this moment.

Fourth part already, wow! Now I have finally started to plan this story so it might help keeping this all together - hopefully, at least. This is my fave part so far, it was so easy to write this. Enjoy!

The time seemed to pass way too slowly as it usually did on Fridays. You had checked the clock too many times and picked your phone up several times to scroll social media so you could have something to do when there were no customers to be seen. However, there wasn’t much to see in social media apps – only a few posts about weekend plans or cute photos of pets and then only random recommended, boring stuff that you just ignored.

You leaned against the counter with sigh and locked the phone, putting it aside and let then your gaze to take in the shop. It didn’t take long before a sound of buzzing got your attention and you picked your phone back up, seeing the notification of a new message arrived hovering on the screen. Your heart made a happy jump in your chest as you saw Copia to be the sender and quickly you unlocked the phone, opening the message.

Meet me by the abandoned church at 10 pm. - C

Smile rose to your lips instantly, excitement hopping up several levels within you. Your curiosity was aroused, too, so you had to reply and ask what that was about. It didn’t take long before Copia replied with ”you’ll see it, then” and a winking emoji. You let out a light chuckle, mind already starting to ponder all the options of what would await for you. The abandoned church itself was a cool sight to see and you had done your exploration there a few times but surely there was going to be something more.

”Whoever got you smiling like that must be a special one.” Your co-worker’s, Olivia’s, voice broke you out of your thoughts and you quickly unlocked your phone, turning your head to see Olivia looking at you with amusement.

”Yeah, he is,” you admitted and Olivia seemed to study you closely.

”It’s fairly new thing, isn’t it?”

”Yes,” you answered briefly as you really didn’t want to share much about your personal life. Olivia was nice and all but you wouldn’t exactly call her your friend.

”If he is a good one, please, tell me where did you find him? I’ve gotten so sick and tired of the assholes who just disappear after one meeting or who don’t know how to treat a woman respectfully,” Olivia said and you could almost sense her frustration.

She had talked about her… acquaintances several times and it seemed that she had been really unlucky with guys but you really couldn’t indentify with her situation. You had never looked for anyone, you had enjoyed your single life until Copia had just appeared in your life.

”Maybe you should just stop looking for someone,” you suggested, shrugging and then grinning. ”Worked for me, at least.”

Olivia didn’t look impressed, her one brow rising up.

”So I should just wait and see if I happen to run into someone in one day and then he magically falls in love with me?”

You chuckled, nodding. ”Yes. It honestly can happen.”

”I doubt it,” Olivia stated, though now there was a small smile tucking at the corners of her mouth. ”How did you meet your guy, by the way?”

You grinned, shaking your head.

”Trust me, you don’t want to know that.”

Olivia looked like she wanted to ask more but you shook your head again and she got the message. You weren’t going to tell her more. Not now, at least.

You were a bit late as you had taken too much time figuring out what to wear for the evening. Eventually you had settled for a button up shirt and some loose-fitting trousers with a long, warm coat, scarf and your favorite mittens. Copia was already waiting for you, leaning against the handrails in front of the church, a guitar case on the stairs by his feet.

”Sorry, I’m a bit late,” you apologized, smiling at him as you climbed a few stairs up.

”Don’t worry, I have all the time in the world,” he said, pushing himself off the handrails and taking a hold of your hand and leaning in to kiss your cheek.

”What’s that for?” you had to ask, pointing the guitar case. ”I didn’t knew you play a guitar.”

”I didn’t play for a long time but I felt it would be nice to do that for a special occasion.”

”And this is that special occasion?”

”Yes,” Copia said, smile wide, and picked up the case, still holding your other hand. ”Let’s go.”

You let Copia lead you away from the stairs, taking then turn to right and head behind the church. It was kind of hard to see when there were no working lights around on your path but you trusted that Copia, or vampires in general, had a good night vision. You tried your best at not to trip on any branches of bushes or anything else that grew or were on the ground as you walked forward and realized that maybe your choice of trousers and coat wasn’t the best.

Copia took you all the way to the back of the church and then continued forward where there seemed to be some smaller building. You walked past that, and then you could see another, a bigger building rising before you. Copia stopped by the metallic staircase and motioned you to go first.

”Is this safe?” you asked, eyeing the stairs suspiciously.

”Yes,” Copia said softly, gently patting your back and urging you forward.

You started climbing, the metal under your feet giving a small noises with every step. It was kind of unnerving but knowing that Copia was there with you, made you feel safer. With Copia’s instructions you climbed until you reached the roof and when you turned to look at towards the church, the sight that greeted you was so pretty. You could see the city spread out before you in all its night glory, the lights shining in different shades near and far, the moon casting its light above you.

”Wow,” you said in awe. ”I had no idea that you can see the city from here.”

”Well, now you know,” Copia said, stepping beside you and putting the guitar case down. ”This is one of my favorite places, I have spent so many nights here.”

”I can see why.”

You took a glance at Copia, seeing him looking at you with a soft, happy expression.

”What?” you asked, now properly turning to Copia.

”I thought that if I ever found someone… special I would bring them here,” Copia spoke softly, a dreamy smile on his lips. ”This is a part of my world – the quiet, oftentimes lonely nights. But seeing all this made me feel less lonely, no matter how odd it sounds.”

Something tugged at your heartstrings and you instinctively moved closer to Copia and wrapped your arms around him to comfort him. He relaxed into the embrace and for a while you just stood there, in silence.

”So this is a date, then?” you eventually broke the silence, pulling slightly back so that you could look at Copia.

”Sí, obviously.”

You smiled, moving your hand and giving him a light, playful shove to the upper arm.

”Such a romantic,” you teased, making Copia laugh, a proper, deep laugh this time. You loved the sound of it, your smile only growing wider. It always felt good when you made him laugh.

”Always have been,” he said, maybe half-jokingly, then leaning in and placing a kiss on your forehead. ”Now, sit down and get ready for some guitar tunes.”

You didn’t have to be told twice so you sat down, eager to hear Copia playing. While you waited Copia to take his time for getting ready, you let your gaze admire the night lights, and hoped that you had taken your notebook and pen with you. It wasn’t typical for you to leave home without them but this time you had thought that you would rather enjoy the moment as it was, without any distraction.

”Here,” Copia soon said, your gaze falling to the worn-out notebook he was handing to you. ”There’s some pieces of lyrics I’ve written.”

Surprised you took the notebook, examining the cover. There seemed to be some symbol on it, like it was embedded on it but due to darkness and wear and tear you couldn’t make out exactly what it was. Just as you hesitantly opened the notebook, Copia played the first chords, and you removed your other mitten and took your phone out of your pocket, putting the flashlight on and pointing it towards the page. Words were written in black ink, handwriting looking pretty and for a moment you just admired it.

Copia was now playing properly, the soft, slow melody filling your ears and you started to read the words. The longer you read and the more you listened Copia’s playing, it felt like the words on the pages and the melody matched well sometimes. Whether it was intentional or just a coincidence, it was beautiful nonetheless. Then you closed your eyes, for a moment just focusing on the sound of the guitar, letting the music paint a picture in your head. Sadness, longing, hope.

It didn’t take a long before you were caught off guard by a low, sweet voice. You opened your eyes, turning to look at Copia completely in awe. You had had no idea that he could also sing but it certainly was a nice surprise. With a smile on your lips, you just listened to him, enjoyed how his voice seemed to reach somewhere deep and touch you in a way you couldn’t quite explain. When Copia eventually stopped singing and played the last chords, you put your phone and Copia’s notebook down and plunged then forward to smash you lips against his. Copia let out a surprised noise, then melting into the kiss, his other hand cupping your cheek. You balanced yourself by leaning against Copia’s shoulders with your hands as your mouths explored one another slowly. There were so many things you hoped you could say but didn’t have words for so you had to try to convey them all through the kiss.

Way too soon air became needed for you so reluctantly you pulled away, searching for Copia’s gaze, your heart beating faster inside your chest.

”That was amazing,” you breathed out, knowing it was quite an understatement but right now you had no better words to offer. Copia grinned.

”I’m glad you liked it.”

”Liked it? I loved it!” you stated emphatically. ”You really have a beautiful voice and the lyrics… Wow, I’m impressed.”

Now Copia was basically beaming and you couldn’t help but lean to place a quick kiss on the tip of his nose. It made him chuckle and you felt the sound of it in your heart, the warmth spreading all over you.

”You definitely need to play and sing more,” you said smiling. ”Have you ever played for the audience?”

Copia nodded. ”Si, but it’s been decades since the last time. For some reason I lost a bit of the spark to do that even tough it was fun. But I think that tonight I might have gotten a part of that spark back.”

The way Copia’s eyes shined even in the darkness of the night, made you feel so happy.

”Are you implying that I inspired you to pick up the guitar and start singing again?”

Copia flashed you a crooked smile, raising his other brow.

”Well, you’re an artist yourself, so you probably understand how the inspiration works.”

You nodded, lifting your hand up to caress Copia’s cheek.

”Oh, I know that very well.”

Copia leaned against your touch, smiling sweetly, and you were so glad that he chose this night to spread out his heart and show more of himself. This was a perfect date, if you were honest. While you would have been completely fine with the basic movie or dinner date, this seemed more… you and Copia if that made sense. You weren’t even sure how dinner date would even work with a vampire.

”What’s going on in that sweet head of yours?” Copia interrupted your train of thoughts and you shook your head.

”It’s silly…” you started, lowering your gaze. ”I was just thinking how perfect this date has been. And I was wondering how it would have worked if we had had a dinner date instead.”

Copia moved his hand under you chin, gently making you to look at him.

You hummed, running your fingers along Copia’s cheeks, stopping right upon his upper lip. Copia’s lips parted slightly and you could see the fangs coming out, a wind-like movement passing you before settling into a warm vibration around you.

”That’s not silly,” he spoke softly. ”I’m happy that this has been a great date for you and I have also enjoyed this so much. And what comes for the dinner date… Well, I can eat human food but it doesn’t do much, you know. It would have been a bit weird for me but I would have managed it, of course. But it didn’t feel right for us so I wanted to do this.”

”With you I feel more like a human,” Copia said quietly, caressing your chin with his thumb. ”But I also hate these vampire aspects less.”

Smiling, you leaned closer to Copia’s face, watching closely how his other eye changed its color to red, how his nose twitched and you felt that odd satisfaction deep down as you knew that your scent was causing that. Naturally you had to close the gap between you, capture Copia’s lips in a kiss again, your mouths easily finding a perfect, slow rhythm. The night was cool and his lips felt cold against yours but you felt so warm within. It wasn’t a full, blazing fire but something more gentle, lingering – like a fluffy blanket wrapped around you. You hoped you never would have to let go of that feeling.

With a fluttering heart you pulled then back, smile matching to Copia’s as your gazes met. There was so much to see in those beautiful mismatched eyes, whole books of stories, remnants of the long life lived and you were already so lost in the vastness of it, the world you were now the highlight of.

The next thing seemed to happen in a blink of an eye and you found yourself to be pinned down against the cold surface of the roof, guitar now resting on the side and Copia hovering above you, his gaze taking in the sight of you. Gently he took a hold of you hand, pulling the mitten away and bringing your wrist close to his lips, then placing a light kiss on it, making you shudder.

”Could you feed off from me?” you asked, feeling how Copia tensed for a moment.

”Now?” he asked, confused, and you nodded, surprising yourself a bit by that.

”Yes, if you want to.”

Copia stared at you as if he was looking for any signs that could tell you weren’t actually serious. Then he inhaled deeply your scent, your wrist still close to his lips and you could see how tempting your offer had been. Then he shook his head, placing another kiss to your wrist.

”As much I would like to do that, now’s not the right moment,” he said, letting go of your hand, leaning closer and cupping you face. ”I’m not ready for that yet.”

You felt slight disappointment tying its knot within you but this wasn’t all about you or what you wanted. You didn’t want to drive Copia away by being too eager or persistent.

”It’s okay,” you said, offering Copia a reassuring smile. ”I can wait.”

A half-smile passed Copia’s lips as he run his fingers along the side of your face.

”It would hurt no matter how careful I would be. Until the venom kicks in, at least.”

”It can’t be that bad, right?” you sighed, and Copia made a face at that.

”Well, it doesn’t hurt as much as turning into a vampire but it still hurts.”

You pondered his words for a while, trying to imagine different kind of pain levels but of course you couldn’t grasp the reality as you had no idea how it would be. The idea of him biting you, feeding off from you, was still intriguing and you weren’t going to take back your offer.

”Okay, enough of this serious talk…” you said, changing the subject. ”Could we leave now? It’s getting a bit cold.”

Copia was instantly on his feet, extending his hand to you, his usual warm smile returning to his lips.

”Sure, I’ll walk you home.”

We have roughly 150 episodes of UtahLIVE, and although most of them can be read out of order, there is a timeline (plus it would be more convenient for new readers. Ive gotten a lot of asks about topics or scenarios that have already been answered). If there are any tutorials/themes/tips let me know via DMs or ask box!

Im probably gonna hold off on sharing my other accounts for a few reasons (there might be some people who already know my other blogs which is fine idc welcome to my twisted mind etc im just not going to advertise them here). My main blog is basically a spam blog where I dont tag anything. I dont really post original art and my fandom art is few and far between. 90% of my work just goes in discord DMs or servers 💀 I think the main reason though-and this may or may not make sense to some of you-is that I don’t want your opinion of me to change how you view the story. This is a super specific example, but for all my fic readers out there: have you ever joined an authors server, and then after meeting them you feel a bit odd about the fic since the creator isnt exactly the person you thought them to be (not necessarily in a good or bad way)? That’s exactly what I don’t want happening with this blog. Basically: Nooo what if you find out about me as a person and realize im cringeeee aaaaa [image of the werewolf transformation (you know the one)] That being said, we’ll see how things go, I guess! At the very least, I’ll probably put my socials out when I’m done here (we got a ways to go before that happens though, so dont even start to worry about that) that was a lot of text for one answer. yeesh 😬 sorry about that

I get easily annoyed/tend to be very wary of people because of Discourse TM ive been in/seen go down and honestly i see a lot of it the st fandom that concerns me and annoys me to no end. So im glad to see we seem to be on roughly the same page here especially with how nasty (in the being an asshole to people who disagree way) people have gotten in discourse ive observed. Let people be horny as long as theres no real life sexual harassment/abuse and let people have fun with interpretations of art (as long as theyre not being weird about real life events that inspired the Perceived As Horny art) yknow? I brought in some other discourse here with this ask in particular but i have been very bitter about people lately lol

With how generally sex-positive the fandom is (like in terms of acceptance of sexuality, esp kink and paraphilia), it's a little surprising that people would actually get that up in arms over something like this.

Personally, from my own observations, I'd mostly attribute it to how booktok's kind of adopted ST + Vess as some shallow, sexy spooky anthem/daddy dom character. If booktok is already perceived as 1) low-quality lit, 2) romanticizing heteronormative abuse fantasies, and 3) kinda "cringe", I could see people being extra negative when their fave's starting to be associated with the community.

Which, I understand both sides. I would like to lick the body paint off of Vessel as much as anyone else here. But, the appreciation goes far beyond sexuality, and it's not a factor in my overall love for the band. It can be annoying to see people fawn over "baby-making metal" and our beloved, shirt-avoidant Best Boy at a horny surface-level appreciation. Especially since a lot of the tiktok fandom that might overlap with booktok are sometimes the ones that take thirsting into actual objectifying territory. The music is far deeper than its sex appeal and the community is more than just folks who scream daddy at the barricade during Atlantic lol (idk if that's happened but like you know what I mean hopefully)

So yeah, I get why people would be upset over it. If it were up to me, I wouldn't want Sleep Token to be associated with people's generalized (and sometimes legitimate) negative opinions about booktok. I love them and I wish people got to form their own views unclouded by horny digital shrieking lol. However, this is real life, and I am a mature(?) adult person who can move the fuck on with my life and let the booktok horndogs straight up jork it to whatever they want. It doesn't affect me. And again, if they're not translating their potentially misinformed, hard dom daddy Vess fantasies into harmful irl practice, then who gives a fuck.

People need to chill and realize that there's always going to be aspects of a fandom that you can't control (I'm a veteran Dream stan, miss me with that fandom policing bullshit lol trust me it doesn't work). Just like there's going to be interaction/overlap with other communities that you personally don't agree with. Have your own opinions, share concerns for legitimate worries that don't demonize the individuals themselves, and curate your own online experience to avoid things you don't vibe with.

👀 That WIP wouldn't happen to be the one I asked about before, would it? Because I have a couple other thoughts. Such as, does Cas ever find it hard to look at Luke & Leia because of how brightly they shine in the Force, is Sam Grogu's fave member of TFW because he likes to be tall, and is Bobby around (and how does the og trio react to a gruff softy of a father figure?)

Also, I'll have to check out that fic when my brain let's me read things again, I've been curious about destiel fic before, but the sheer volume of them is intimidating af. 😂 Congratulations on the pie, it looked amazing, and I'm certain Dean would be very excited, too. For your amusement, I have just today gotten a third RL friend to start SPN even though I've only made it about halfway through so far myself (I WILL finish it eventually, my brain is just uncooperative atm.)

OKAY holy shit the spn/sw crossover has been living in my head rent free too and i am now obsessed with the idea of cas just staring at luke and leia because of how bright they are in the force and dean gets really jealous because he is the one that cas usual stares at until cas tells him that while the force within luke and leia is beautiful, it’s like looking directly into the sun - harsh and violent and blinding - but the force within dean is like wading into a cool lake - safe and soothing and his - and deans not so jealous anymore

grogu absolutely loves sam because he’s quieter than the others and he clings to sams back and does not let go and it takes twenty minutes of din trying to pry him off and eventually having to bribe him with cookies to make him let go but half an hour later he’s back tugging on sams leg to be picked up and honestly? sam loves it and makes a little carrier to put him in so grogu can hang out and walk around with him all day :) they also get along well cause sam is a sassy shit and so is grogu

BOBBY i didn’t even think about bobby but yes i can absolutely see him as like a gruff mechanic peli motto type who back in the day was a records keeper of coruscant but after the empire took over moved to tatooine and took up shop as a mechanic there and once sam and dean join the rebels he ends up moving to one of the bases to help with intel gathering and acts as a missions coordinator - and as for the og trio i think luke would see a lot of uncle owen in bobby so i think he’d take to bobby right away and they’d get along great, leia would be absolutely fascinated by him and they’d take galaxy politics all the time, but i think he’d butt heads with han the same way he does with dean sometimes and dishes out a lot of tough love to that idjit

as for fic! if you’re curious about destiel fic id also recommend psalm 40:2 by unicornpoe (which altered my brain chemistry irreversibly) - tell me about the dream by playedwright (a s6 divergent au which had me rolling on the floor screaming) and spiders by opal_bullets (this fic made me have a mini-breakdown at work over my love for dean winchester) i also have many more recs and love sharing fic so if you do end up dipping your toe into the fic pool and want more let me know!

“Yeah, he did.” The brunet confirmed. “ As I said, he is an asshole. But that didn’t stop Sir Gaepora from making this idiot the squad's maid until further notice. Even the pages are above him right now.”

“Wow. Look at that. He leaves for a while and he turns into a delinquent!” Gaddison laughed, maybe with a little too much pride in her tone. “Hey! This means it isn't us who were a bad influence on you. It was you who was a bad influence on us all this time!”

“Well, what else have you been doing?” Rivan asked gently. “We’d really love to know.”

Pipit would be surprised if the blond’s neck hadn’t gotten injured after how quickly he turned to throw a look at him. Or, more accurately, to leer at him. Link’s frown was deep and enraged, even going as far as showing the brunet his teeth in warning. His threat fell on blind eyes, however. A single raised eyebrow was Pipit’s only response. 

“Oh, I’ve heard the lake is beautiful this time of the year!” Rivan whistled happily, seemingly oblivious to the Hylian’s staredown.

“Yeah. Beautiful.” 🏅 What is something you recently felt proud of in regard to your writing (finished a fic, actually planned for once, etc). Just the fact that I'm close to finish a long fic after so long is surreal. I'm also proud at the way my action scenes have been getting better! 🌝 Who is one character you haven’t yet written for that you would like to? From FF16, I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally want to write Joshua and Jote (my other super hardcore ship!), but he is a noble and he talks all pompous and... I already struggle witth Mipha ;W; ... someday, tho! 💭 What is a headcanon you have about your own work? My biggest hc for aazw is that Link's and Mipha's mom were great friends, and had Link lost his parents before Mipha lost her mom, she would've taken care of little link with all her might and love and she would've ripped Muzu a new one if he ever dared to even whisper a complain about it >:V

my eldy ring journey so far

having met the requisite tutorial people (melina, kale, ranni), crept around the gatefront ruins camp several times until i finally managed to clear it out without dying

also managed to parry the mean knight with the big shield so maybe picking the confessor class (comes equipped with 100% physical damage negation medium parry shield) was no a mistake

followed the road from the gatefront until i somehow ended up by an evergaol

thought, oh why not, no real penalty to dying in an evergaol

spend the next four hours dying repeatedly to bloodhound knight darriwil while failing every single parry & dying to blood loss having chipped off 2% of his health

then in one insane run parry him four times in a row and kill him without taking any damage whatsoever

i am now in possession of a video clip that makes me look like a god tier elden ring player who does hitless speedruns. this is a complete and absolute lie

i am also now in the possession of the bloodhound's fang. i do not have the stats to wield it

while looking up the bloodhound's fang online to see if its a good weapon (it is) i find out that this is part of blaidd's questline?? you could have summoned him?

get murked repeatedly by the pack of wolves in the cave. they literally ate me alive so many times. the beastman? beat him in one try. wasn't even close. the wolves were the real boss of that cave

at some point i also snuck into liurnia by the secret side passage, met thops, ran away from everything in abject terror, and registered two graces so that melina will take me to the roundtable hold.

next day. have a brainwave. go back to the evergaol where i fought darriwil. blaidd is there. he gives me a somber smithing stone for doing his job for him

Could you tell me some more about the parts of watercolor and pigments that really interests you or you think is cool knowledge to have or something you'd like to share on it, I'd love to generally learn more about it <3

yeee gladly :] my specific interest is always shifting a bit, but the past few months ive mostly been looking at specific colors / pigment families, and colormixing / putting together limited palletes. also looking up what pigments r in the watercolors that i already have since they dont always match the name.

personal faves rn are PR264 [pyrrole rubine], PV29 [perylenne violet], and all time fave yellow PY42 [yellow ochre]. i really wanna try out a genuine indigo [NB1] but its very hard to find sadly. PBk31 [perylene green] is also on my list but i havent gotten to it yet bc everything ive found at local stores is like 15€ for a small tube and thas spensive rip.

If anyone wants to try pyrrole rubine, the Van Gogh Madder Lake Deep actually uses it and its very affordable! really recommend van gogh overall btw best student quality brand in my opinion. Their dusk colors r also really cool, its colors mixed w a heavily granulating black that looks sick as hell and i really should use them more often. their metalics r shit tho dont like those. Perylene violet most proffesional brands have, the one i have is from white nights which i havent seen in any physical stores in NL but theyre very easy to get online. yellow ochre is kind of a standard so that ones not hard to find. i like using more muted colors for my stuff so its a pefect for that, and its also great for mixing skintones.

for colormixing ive just been. going to town lol. fascinating how u can mix a dark blue with a cool green and cool red. In theory ive done these to eventually use in my art but so far ive only gotten around to use 2 of em

ive also been experimenting with using PB36 [cobalt turquoise] in mixes for effects bc it it granulates and seperates out which looks really cool. i dont have any of my own swatches w me rn but i wll add them later.

GOD THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO GET POSTED OVER A WEEK AGO AND IT NEVER LEFT MY DRAFTS

hello gorgeous people from the internet, it is a bit late on Sunday night, but I dint want to leave the weekend without talking to you and updating you on my life. We left off in me having GG blonde on delivered and me having a conference starting the next morning.

First the conference, It is a model united nations, and im not going to get into much detail because I don't want to, too bad for you. I was participating as Mexico in World trade organization, the topic was the grain market. Academically, I am a very experienced UN delegate, I usually am the most experienced(not the best under any circumstance) delegate in the room in advanced committees, no surprise I was too in an intermediate one. I started by beefing the USA just because and then just working with her because I was Mexico, ofc I had to. There were a few things that annoyed me about the committee like the people being clueless and the lack of format or them throwing all my work away. But anyways, I dont feel like talking about this right now, cause ive discussed this at extent multiple times and im not in the mood anymore, maybe tomorrow ill talk about it to leave a record. I liked wearing a suit after so long, and my coat and all, it felt nice. This specific conference is not my fave, it's my least actually. The debate was nice this year but the campus of this uni is super super far and in a very bad state imo, so its not too enjoyable, apart from that, I feel like the overall vibe is not the best. I went just to debate, no parties and skipped the ceremonies. I went because I knew I was going to bump onto people I love from previous conferences. I didn't make friends this conference, but earlier this year I went to this advanced committee(I’m coming back the next morning) and met a lot of people that have become my closest friends in the MUN circle, so I went to see them.

I’m transitioning to new hair products and I’m not loving the results, I guess I have to still get used to the proper amounts, but it’s not responding as id expect them to. Idk if I mentioned this but one of my suits dirty half from being stored for long half for having gotten lost in a forest in it (that’s for another recap). That’s annoying, I don’t have any groceries and I’ve been feeding off the same meal for the last like 4 days (💀💀💀) but I’ll make it work.

Now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for. I asked Friday afternoon (couldn’t wait until Saturday) how the Kebab was, and he didn’t answer…and then he didn’t…and he never answered to that. So at this point I had two options: ignore his existence until the day that I die or not give two flying fucks about it. So I decided to not give fucks and text him anyways, so I asked him if he was doing sumn in the afternoon (on Sunday) to which he answered that he wasn’t sure but that he sure was going to the climbing gym. Then I told him I was going downtown to run some errands if case he wanted to keep me company. This is when he mentioned his friend was over and I was like “omg, he did mention he was going to be hosting a friend coming from abroad” so now I feel less bad about the kebab thing cause lol he was busy. So ended up meeting his friend and I think he got like super jealous? Idk I could just see it in his face it was super hilarious and satisfying to see his face, as my friends would say, his face had subtitles. So GG blonde’s friend had striking blue grey eyes, huge eyelashes, super tall, etc. the brunette and improved version of GG blonde basically, I am an objective man, I can tell when someone is super handsome and he was, it didn’t help that he was basically shirtless too which was super hilarious for me and I pointed it out at some point and we all had a laugh with it. However, I didn’t feel attracted to him, I liked him, as friends, he was super nice and we had to things in common. At first I was super shy cause that’s me, but later on we got onto talking about dying our hair and we actually did the same high school program that is basically a sect so immediately the conversation got fluid and we started kicking it off. Gg blonde was not understanding anything of what was going on and he was not super happy about it. At some point he mentioned where he was studying and it turns out it’s my second top pick for exchange destinations next year. By the time we were leaving I asked for his instagram in case I end up in his city as we had agreed earlier. When I asked for it GG blonde looked so defeated honestly, he said “I don’t even think I have your instagram”, my plans had come to completion, I had his instagram which was one of my goals and he was also like upset? About the whole situation.

Ig he likes my attention and I like giving it to him, I like spending time with him and I still think he’s the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen, even if some of his tattoos are a little ugly. I think he realised he doesn’t want to share me? Or that he likes being liked by me and just wouldn’t admit it? Idk but I was just cracking my ass off after I left cause he looked so JELOUS. I also dropped so many pieces of info to his friend and gg blonde seemed really surprised about it, but he never asked me about much so ig he never really got to know me in much depth, my life is quite interesting actually and it would’ve been super fun for him to know more about it, but he never made the effort so now he’s ought to pay the price. Idk idk idk, I’m very happy with this situation and I can’t wait to see if he mentions something relating to this next time we see each other. Probably will be along this week. I’ll keep you updated

Complete fangans

Danganronpa another - 8/10, pretty good! Follows Trigger Happy Havoc a little closely in spots, but whenever it does that it’s trying to subvert whatever its mirroring in the first game. The cast is fun and bounces off eachother really well

Super danganronpa another 2 - 7/10, while it does improve in a lot of aspects when compared to the first game on both a technical and story level, I honestly preferred the first game to the second one. I was spoiled for most of the events in this game and the whole luck transfer thing was really convoluted. It’s still good tho! 

Danganronpa Lapse - 7/10, I really liked the unique artstyle, and the reduced cast allowed for everyone to shine a little bit more! The story was good as well, tho echos whole thing could’ve been explained more clearly. honestly this didn’t even need to be a Danganronpa game, it felt the weakest whenever it was trying to do that. Although I did enjoy the trials

In-progress fangans: have at least 2 chapters out

Danganronpa blowback: 6/10. Not the biggest fan tbh. It does have some cool ideas and characters but when it misses it misses hard. Granted this is one of the oldest fangans ive played, so some aspects can be forgiven based on that. I do wonder if it wouldve gotten better or worse had it gone on for longer

Danganronpa antebellum: 9/10. I had so much fun when playing this game its unreal. Its not perfect by a long shot, it definitely feels like a fangame, but thats whats so great about it. It doesnt take itself too seriously, which is an issue that can easily affect a fan project. The designs for the cast are super fun and i cant say that there's any characters i actively dislike. 

Danganronpa despair time: 9/10. Another really good one! It takes advantage of the medium its presented rather well. The story so far is really good and the parts “inspired” by the mainline games are changed up enough where it makes the tropes feel refreshing. I dont like all the characters but hey its rare to have an entire cast of faves

Just started fangans: only the prologue / first chapter is out

Project edens garden - 7/10. It’s got me hooked! I found the prologue very interesting. It set up the characters well and let them have a chance to shine while also setting up the main story. I found the animal theming interesting and am excited to see where it goes. I just also really like the art style. Each characters color palette is really distinct and i really like that :]

Danganronpa (he)artless deceit - 6/10. It’s alright. On a technical level it's very impressive, and it's clear the people making this really care about it! It just… didn't really click with me. A couple characters did interest me, but i wasn't very invested in the main two focused on in the proluge. I'll be interested to see where it goes but atm I'm more of an observer than a fan.

Danganronpa mauve - 5/10. I dont know what to think about this one. Its only got one chapter out so its hard to judge it, but it just didnt really captivate me all that much. Its clear a lot of work and time has been put into this, and i can totally see how someone could like this! Its just not my cup of tea X]. Out of every fangan ive seen this definitely feels the most like a danganronpa game, but thats a double edged sword. The characters were alright, but it felt… odd to me how many of them resembled characters from other fangans or the mainline series (looking at you satsuki).

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly - Autistic Representation

Autism - “A serious developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact. Autism spectrum disorder impacts the nervous system.The range and severity of symptoms can vary widely. Common symptoms include difficulty with communication, difficulty with social interactions, obsessive interests, and repetitive behaviors. Early recognition, as well as behavioral, educational, and family therapies may reduce symptoms and support development and learning.” - Mayo Clinic

I don’t usually, nor do I plan on beginning any educational posts in the future - this is simply (hopefully) a one time thing. Though I highly highly doubt it will be. But this I absolutely need to discuss. I feel that I am qualified to do so as well as I’ve been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (specifically Asperger’s Syndrome when the DSM IV was still around) since I was 6 or 7 years old. So I have lived just about one and a half decades with it. Well at least with it diagnosed. Truly I’ve lived with it for all 20 years and 11 months of my life. 

In this post I plan on discussing mainly books, but also referencing to movies and tv shows as I deem necessary. I will also give suggestions of excellent books with autistic representation at the end of this post bolding, and italicizing the ones written by autistic authors. 

Now, without further ado, let’s jump right on in. 

The Ugly

We are starting with the worst of the worst - not so I can upset people over their faves but so that you can anticipate the best at the end of this post. I am going to stick to one major example for each category until the last one. As far as “The Ugly,” I am going to be referencing The Maid by Nita Prose. 

While it is never officially stated that she is autistic, there is enough insinuation that the lack of a label is almost offensive. If you are going to write a current day, “realistic,” murder mystery thriller, then you should be labeling your characters. And don’t do that “oh I don’t want to put them in a box.” Sometimes people have to be. If I hadn’t been labeled I wouldn’t have gotten the accommodations I needed in High School or College. That being said, there are some aspects here that seem accurate. The desire for a routine life, reading too far into certain conversations, missing out on social cues. I can certainly be glad they didn’t pull the counting toothpicks or burning down houses stereotypes. Outside of that, it just felt wrong. I can’t put a finger on it, and I reiterate that in the review. I think many of my complaints are similar to others, but the neurodivergency nearly felt fictional and I almost wished she’d at least watched the ABC Freeform tv show Stitchers, because while the condition Kirstin has isn’t autism, there certain gaping similarities that are discussed in the show (there’s an episode where she “stitches” into an autistic man’s brain and figures out how he died in 4 seconds because his brain was so similar to hers), that it has been my favorite show for a very long time. 

The Bad

Mind you, this example I DNFd rather quickly - as I had learned my lesson with other books. The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi. I went into this book extremely excited after hearing it featured not only a Jewish main character (I am half jewish myself) but that character was also autistic. When I got to her introduction I have never seen so many stereotypes and contradictions in one page. She is mentioned to basically be an arsonist, and love numbers. She is said to only like the “pale bland sugar cookies” and doesn’t know how to ask for more other than standing right behind Laila with an empty tray. But she was smart enough and socially adjusted enough to attend university until her arson. How on earth does that make sense? It felt like they were trying to infantilize the condition, which... feels not great. There are many autistic people out there who can love flavorful foods, love colors, and know how to cook or ask for more. Those same people may not feel comfortable at university, be scared of fires or be terribly at math and love words instead. Autistic people are extremely variable, and while I didn’t finish the book, there was clearly a reason as to why. 

The Good

Finally! The good! About damn time. Well, this is a slightly amusing story if you can believe it. So the same morning I finally decided to shelve The Gilded Wolves, I picked up Seraphina by Rachel Hartman. It was at the top of my physical TBR cart as it is a book that I am borrowing from my mom, so I need to finish it soon so I don’t forget to give it back, so I just leaned over and started it. Not only was the immediate prose gorgeous, but soon I discovered that the dragons are absolutely based on autistic people. In this case, it not being a specific label is understandable (same as above) because it is extremely high fantasy. Omran is described as loving difficult mathematics instead of just numbers and hating itchy clothing and is shown to miss social cues, such as greeting before launching into conversation. In one of the memories that Seraphina gets to see of her mother, she discovers that her mother was obsessed with her music, and seemed to know quite know how to word the feeling of deep love.  Not enjoying metaphor, but not elaborating exactly why. Yes she does still compare kissing Seraphina’s father to equations but its only one thing she compares it to - she still compares it to “seen the numbers behind the moon and stars, behind mountains and history, art and death and yearning, as if my comprehension is large enough that it can encompass universes from the beginning to the end of time.” (p. 91)

Even if it is not the author’s intention to make the dragons an entire species of autistic people, I’d prefer an accident like that to the aforementioned purposeful attempts at neurodivergent characters.

They’re incredible. They’re wonderful. their bond is unbreakable forged in the fires of facing danger side by side, of both being unfairly outcast and unable to do anything but roll with it, of being sillygoofy hanging out having fun together. they look out for each other. they take care of each other. They’re Best Friends.

i think the version of them that lives in my brain is basically the same just, tends to veer more clearly Romantic. they are dating <3 but there’s also like. they have the clear potential and power to do a lot of Stupid Shit together, True Meaning Of Boys Will Be Boys kinda stuff, but with the constraints of p5 not letting akira be a character & not including a ton of non-plot-relevant character interactions they don’t get to goof off like i Know they can. if you put them together Sometimes akira will become the voice of reason but sometimes he just goes Wow that stupid thing is a GREAT idea!!! and then they run off skipping and holding hands to do something really really dumb. and have the time of their lives

I always say “healing power of best bros” when referring 2 them bc i called them that Once and then it stuck in my brain forever but like. Yeah. That’s it. That’s the thing. I love, like. Bromances. They make the best relationship dynamic tbh. Both as a “what if these characters were dating” thing and also just like, the concept, although there’s rarely ever been a “bromance” that was not Just Gay. Its just the sheer joy of, here’s two guys and they do Traditional Guy Stuff together but it also runs very deep and they’re inseparably close and its. God. GOD! GOD!!! Far from the first person to talk about this. Only even thought about it because so many other people talked about it. But. Like. They have both gotten unfairly ostracized and don’t really have Anyone, no real friends around them, no one has really Been Truly Nice to either of them in a while. And then they both meet someone who is nice to them and hears what people say about them & doesn’t care both because they’re in similar situations and also because they’d just like each other and be nice to each other anyway regardless!! Akiras first friend in Tokyo, Ryujis first friend in A While……

Ryuji feels like he belongs with Akira. I can never get over the stuff he says in his confidant…… he feels Free around akira…. he feels like they Belong by each other’s sides….. im turnin into a crying cat bro,.. its so sweet…. After everything that’s happened ryuji has found someone who goes out of his way to help him!! Someone who wants to lift him up! Someone who just likes Ryuji!

And akira gets The Social Interaction He Needs… from someone who’s straightforward, doesn’t talk around things and says what he thinks… Ryuji mother hens him and goes out of his way to talk to him and talks about all the things he likes about Akira without hesitating just smiling ans going of course i like you you’re you!

They r looking at each other and going This is the coolest guy ever!! they are verbally making a tier list of big bang burger menu items at full volume in a public place they are trying to lift each other over their heads this got off track. YEAH HE SAID HE AND MC WERE RLLY INTO ANIME AS KIDS. luke pearce who is 24 years old in 2030 means that from the Important Media Ages (12-15) it was 2018-2021. this period of time, anime started getting more and more accessible, most notably getting on netflix and stuff like this. so like all the anime on netflix rn? yeah luke's watched them.

though because i kin luke, imma say that his fave is fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood. ive got no characterization proof for this, i just want to give him this honor

additionally, luke is a HUUUUGE fan of the original Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle novels (ACD Sherlock) and i think this would have pushed him to watch like, just every popular sherlock media adaptation there is. he personally liked Elementary better than BBC Sherlock. he generally just gravitates to the adaptations that dont forget about the heart of all of the characters.

2021 is an interesting era of entertainment because it is getting steadily more and more apparent that corporate greed is trying to swallow up good storytelling; movies and shows are made as fast food products to be consumed immediately and thrown away just as fast. there are smarter posts and articles talking about this, but my point here is that marius "believes SO MUCH in art and art's capability to make a difference" von hagen would HATE THIS SO MUCH and, through spite, get into a lot of indie medias that dont necessarily sell. smaller movies, tv shows that got cancelled way before they should have.

oh, hey, MARIUS WAS 12 YEARS OLD IN 2021, yeah he could have watched The Owl House and threw a fucking FIT when disne/y nerfed the show's third season. he has not forgiven and he has not forgotten.

Modern times AU, Poe is a former Navy pilot who was discharged after a crash and being a POW. Finn is a university student who manages to catch Poe’s run away dog, BB-8, who’s literally everything to him.

There’s a calm that claims them all when they’re working and it’s going the way it’s supposed to; the low-level hum of concentration and focus and adrenaline that keeps them on edge without panic. The crew deploys from Idaho, a home base that they see perhaps 3 weeks out of the entire 26 week fire season, interspersed with time in camps and housing all over the country. This week, it’s California—sunny, liberal, beach lined, and on fire.

Finn's a Hotshot firefighter; Poe's the team Helitack operator. They're headed to California to fight a fire in San Jacinto; dangerous country.

Finn is an ex-soldier on a solo motorcycle trip across America. Poe is the mechanic in a small desert town. Poe wants to keep his secrets and Finn is running from something--or toward it--and the part for his bike is going to take at least a week to come in. Lights in the desert, headaches and vague memories all point Finn to something that has Poe tied in knots. He just has no idea how far that something will take him.
