sometimes I remember how in the Changing of the Guard while Siri was undercover and dressed in slinky skimpy dresses so tiny that she had to have Obi-Wan hold her lightsaber for her because she literally could not hide it anywhere, at no point does Obi-Wan, Anakin, or Ferus ( even in Obi-Wan’s or Anakin’s POV narrations ) comment on how hot Siri looks while dressed up all femininely and revealingly, and in fact the only comments that any of them make are on how her behavior at fitting into the role is jaw-dropping. Obi-Wan, for example, almost chokes on his tea when she flounces over to go flirt with a guard. Anakin and Ferus, for example, have a discussion being in awe of the fact that Siri is flirting and has gathered the attention of an entire group of men she’s got wrapped around her little finger and how she’s giggling and smiling and gushing at them. at no point do any of them sexualize her, or even have a “wow Siri looks really good all dressed up” moment.
and then on the other hand, you’ve got Jenna Zan Arbor looking judgmentally at the short length of her skirts every time Siri’s around, and planetary dictator Teda eyeing her like a piece of meat every time she’s around, outright ignoring the three men to attach himself to her side and link arms with her at every opportunity, repeatedly comments about how beautiful she is, tells her how he wants to have a “long, lengthy” lunch alone with her in his private rooms, and how he wants to show her the “pleasurable pleasures” of his planet.
and it’s damn clear that Jude Watson did this on purpose to code how sexualizing women no matter what they’re dressed like is bad, and that friends and good people don’t do that. ‘cause only the two Big Bads of the book do it. ( so do a couple of their henchmen, but the point remains: none of the good or neutral characters in the book do it at all. ever. )
#:: out of the galaxy ( ooc )#(I was gonna go pull quotes for this but then got lazy.)#jedi quest#jedi quest: the changing of the guard#jude watson#is this a meta? idk? just a comment? it's not a headcanon. idk what it is. but it's something.#:: unsolicited opinions ( mun's thoughts )#Teda seriously is so gross. Siri externally like *fawns over him* meanwhile internally like 'ew it touched me. Obi-Wan I need Purell'

THE POSITIVE & NEGATIVE; Mun & Muse - Meme.
fill out & repost ♥
Mun note: I’m gonna put this below the cut cause it’s a biiiig tag. But if you do read it, hmu honestly cause I’ve love to chatting.
And if you do it? Let me know! I love learning about people’s connection to their muses, new or old.
My muse is: canon / oc / au / canon-divergent / fandomless /
Is your character popular in the fandom? YES / NO.
Is your character considered hot™ in the fandom? YES / NO / IDK.
Is your character considered strong in the fandom? YES / NO / IDK (Mixed impressions depending on who you ask and how you ask it I reckon.)
Are they underrated? YES / NO.
Were they relevant to the main story? YES / NO.
Were they relevant to the main character? YES / NO / THEY’RE THE PROTAG.
Are they widely known in their world? YES / NO.
How’s their reputation? GOOD / BAD / NEUTRAL.
How strictly do you follow canon?
OG Canon, By default, up until Zack’s canonical death, I follow canon very muchly. (That doesn’t mean I’m not open to earlier plotted divergence though!) If the overall plot ends with death, then I’m alright with that, I love the handing on of the torch from Angeal to Zack to Cloud. My goal is to never minimize that. But for interactions beyond the end of Crisis Core, I have two particular verses that I absolutely adore based on already established lore and my own head-canons for how Zack would continue.
OG Canon Remake Canon, while it’s nice for options and I don’t mind it, on a technical front I think it weakens the ongoing plot for other characters who then wouldn’t have been forced to grow so much themselves. I enjoyed the remake, but regarding Zack it’s not my cup of tea. I’ll write remake by request, but it’s not my default.
SELL YOUR MUSE! Aka try to list everything, which makes your muse interesting in your opinion to make them spicy for your mutual.
His genuine care for those around him with unrelenting selflessness is both heartwarming -and heart-wrenching.
Zack’s journey from naivety about the world and events around him to recognizing the harm of the organization he’s been directly a part of. He grows in both substance and maturity as he’s increasingly forced to reckon with reality.
Chasing after an idea which is realized but not how he once imagined it.
While Zack is strong, he’s most certainly not the strongest. I enjoy playing with weakness.
Almost relentless optimism. How he pushes onward to continue trying to pick up the pieces. Additionally as such a genuine character and I hope that love comes through in my portrayal.
Look. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But on a personal my muse front, despite my love for him I love putting him in situations where I get to break him down to build back up again because that’s his strength as a character.
Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?).
His early naivety and blind loyalty to ShinRa. (IMO tho, you gotta have a ‘from’ in order to have a ‘to’)
Puppy goofy himbo dummy. (At least, that’s how some people see him.)
Almost relentless optimism.
Some feel he draws away from Cloud’s story.
Just-
Look again.
What inspired you to rp your muse?
Have you ever had a time when you’re watching or playing something and there’s just a character you really identify with like, not just ‘oh, me’ - but beyond that in an almost scary way? For where I was in life and what I was going through, Zack was exactly that for me, and I fell in love with how kept pushing through.
So that was four years ago, and I RP’d him privately within friend groups. Said friends of course moved on from the fandom and I just quietly always wanted to come back to him, there were so many things I’d come up with that I hadn’t gotten to using yet in writing.
So late last year when a friend decided to get into FF7 I made my blog(s) to join them. :3 I did go on hiatus when 7R came out to avoid spoilers as I didn’t have access to a console through the lockdown in my country to play, but I’ve finally returned. (And now you have like a million blogs shgjfjkasghfd.)
What keeps your inspiration going?
On a personal note, Zack’s been an intrinsic part of my life for the past four years. Even when friend groups moved on from the fandom in waves coming and going, he’s never really gone from my life because I live in a fairly small country and he’s one of two cosplays I’m known for here in con/geek circles. (I’ve even Cosplayed him for an official event! <3)
On a writing front, honestly, as I said before, I love the way he keeps on keeping on no matter what’s thrown at him. I don’t want his journey to end. I want him to fall again and again but also to conquer those shortcomings and rise stronger.
That doesn’t have to make him the strongest in body, but in mind that makes him a personal hero for me at least so he’s forever an inspiration. Despite the labels applied to his dream, (See my URL) the pursuit as such defines him admirably.
Some more personal questions for the mun.
Give your mutuals some insight about the way you are in some matters, which could lead them to get more comfortable with you or perhaps not.
Do you think you give your character justice? YES / NO.
Do you frequently write headcanons? YES / NO. (I have a terrible habit of keeping most of em in my head, but they do exist. I’m trying to get better at posting them casually. I know they're good at helping prospective RP partners work out openings for interactions. ;; )
Do you sometimes write drabbles? YES / NO. (Honestly this is usually what happens when I do try to do a HC post, It becomes a drabble incorporating it instead. Whoops?)
Do you think a lot about your Muse during the day? YES / NO.
Are you confident in your portrayal? YES / NO.
Are you confident in your writing? YES / NO.
Are you a sensitive person? YES / NO.
Do you accept criticism well about your portrayal?
Criticism and Critique. Boy oh boy. That’s gonna be a pass, please.
Unsolicited criticism sucks. That’s not what I’m here for, nor many of us I expect. Miss me with that anxiety spike. I’ve done study in writing for films. I know a lot of technical stuff. But I also enjoy switching that off and allowing things to happen. I’m also a performer, and the the improvisational and spontaneous reactionary side is just as important as the plotted. I’m here for fun to explore what I want with other like minded people. Not for criticism.
‘Hey have you thought about ___’ - that’s okay. If we grow together, cool, that’s great! In fact, it kinda leads into the next question.
Do you like questions, which help you explore your character?
Yeeee! Please. Just be aware I’m sometimes slow with my inbox though I am getting better at this!
If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why?
Unless it’s something that clashes between our two muses like a death or lack-thereof, or important shared-background things that needs discussing, I don’t think there’s much reason for it to be brought up. My headcanons exist for the general purpose of ‘without outside influence, this is my default.’ - that’s it. Sometimes they just aren’t relevant.
If it’s simply ‘I don’t like this this idea’ see the next answer.
If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it?
If someone does, please don’t tell me. You can go write him yourself or find another closer to how you perceive him. My portrayal is my own, and I don’t need to conform to your idea of what Zack would do or say. Neither of us need to waste energy on this.
If someone really hates your character, how do you take it?
If it’s my muse, fine. But don’t get aggressive at me about it. I’m also a Genesis mun, so I get the rivalry. But cool your jets.
Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors?
Sure. In fact please. Honestly, @ RP partners, I don’t mind if you quietly fix em yourself. Dyslexia’s an uphill battle. I’ll often edit posts after the fact if I notice my own mistakes, so sure. But @ Readers, please don’t get at my RP partners grammar. This is consent for my writing, not theirs. Though also don’t be a pick-apart grammar police just to get to me. Have some sense about it. ;)
Do you think you are easy going as a mun?
I can be very talkative. Honestly if that surprises you despite my choice of muses with Zack and Gen then gaia help you. So uh, heads up on that. If I haven’t talked to you yet, the key word is ‘yet’ - I’m just working out where to start or for something to react to.
That’s about it, congrats for filling out!
Tagged by: @lifedxbt tagged me for returning from hiatus so I should probably do this. :p Tagging: Uhhhhh, it big. Do if want? Yay. (It took me two hours)

mun questions || accepting
18 – Your muse’s theme song.
answered!
19 – What’s your opinion on blog themes? How do you feel about your own?
Honestly, as long as I can read / navigate a theme, I don’t really have an opinion on other people’s aesthetic choices. For a while container themes seemed to be getting smaller and smaller, but I haven’t noticed that as much recently. My biggest current pet peeve is when people have their links set as hover things, but the hover ‘items’ are hidden or blend in with the background. No offense but if I have to spend 5+ minutes trying to figure out which blob of pixels I need to click to see your pages, I’m probably not gonna bother reading them (or following). Other than that, though, I think themes are a personal way of conveying the mood or the… well, the theme of your blog and your muse. So I tend not to judge other people’s themes based on design choices or whatever, aside from legibility of text and ease of navigation. (To be honest, I only really see themes when I’m following someone, when I’m drafting a reply, or when I’m looking up muse info, so it’s not like I spend a ton of time analyzing them, anyway).
As for my theme, it’s been the same since I started this blog two years ago lol. I’m kinda bored of it but too lazy to change it, and I still like it well enough. I’d rather people focus on my character and on my writing than a fancy theme, anyway. I like it minimalistic and straightforward.
21 – Three big no-nos to do or say to your muse. (their ‘berserk button’)
1 – Unexpected / unwanted touch. After the asylum, he’s very particular about his personal space and who’s allowed into it. 2 – Telling him what he should do. Not in situations where he needs instruction or genuine help, but he can’t stand unsolicited advice, especially where personal choices are concerned. Chances are he’s thought through a couple different avenues before choosing a path forward, and he hates when people second guess that with a “you know what you should do…” type of comment. 3 – Pry when he clearly doesn’t want to talk about something. If he trusts you enough, Miles will tell you some of his secrets in due time. But don’t pressure him into it or he’s liable to get upset fast.

Summing up the rules
// I feel like my rules are a bit too long. But I still don’t feel like changing anything on them, because they still have very important things to highlight.
So here is a quick run down of the most important things that followers should know about this blog!
Basics
Indie. Selective. Private. Multishipping. Multiverse. Canon-divergent. For gym-leader Morty.
This blog is heavily headcanon based, mostly based on the games and the Pokemon adventures manga.
Asks/Replies will be answered by a post B2/W2 Morty.
English isn’t my first language, there will be some posts in my mother language which won’t be tagged.
NSFW friendly. (Smut interactions will take place in a sideblog, only +18 muns and muses, mun is +20 years old.)
Crossovers friendly.
I am in no way or shape exclusive with anyone’s blogs.
Basic RPing etiquette: No force shipping, no god-modding, etc.
Triggering content will be tagged as “____ tw/cw”. I have no triggers.
Opinions and saltiness tag to be blacklisted is Would you like some salt in your tea?
Reblog karma is in effect, if I reblog a prompt from you I will try to send in something. And I expect the same from you, if you do nothing but reblog memes from me without sending anything back you will be blocked.
Shippings
Each shipping takes place in its own universe.
I ship with chemistry.
I will not ship with underage characters and pokemon, I am on the fence when it comes to aged up muses.
Mutuals
Unsolicited starters: 50% chances of me actually answering it.
Shippings call, interested in plotting something? Check it out.
Other things
If I make you a drawing/edit/etc., give me something more than just a like. If you fail to do that I will not accept any similair prompts from you in the future.
My thoughts on aging underage characters up.
Duplicates friendly
M!As friendly (keep it sfw though)
Personal blogs refrain from reblogging my edits/headcanons/threads.
No fictional kin with my muse or character allowed. Fictional kins please don’t interact with me.
Mun and muse are not the same thing. Any hate sent to me, will be deleted on sight.
I will not dumbify/tone down my muse, unfollow me if you can’t handle my portrayal.
I am in no way or shape respoinsible for your mental health, please take care of yourself, unfollow me if it becomes too much for you. No hard feelings.
I’d rather avoid writing fighting scenes, simply because I suck at them.
I am available to RP on discord, however it will only be handed to my mutuals.

I want to get to know my new mutuals (and better get to know the old ones!) Please repost this and tag me and anyone else you want to see the answers for!
A fact about you that is not on your “About the Mun” page:
hmmm. how about the fact that i didn’t play a single video game until i was in high school? not pokemon games, not virtual pets, now that i think about it i dont even think i had board games lol. my parents didn’t like them and thought they were not educational, so they were banned. back when tamagotchis were all the rage, i distinctively remember them confiscating mine after a week, and i only found it several years later at the bottom of their drawers. they obviously didn’t manage to squish my interest in games though...quite the opposite >.>;;;
(bonus fact: mass effect was my first video game and my absolute favourite)
A fact about your muse that is not on their “About the Muse” page:
anything in my headcanons tag! but that would be a lazy answer. i guess one big thing i didn’t mention is that my leon is based off of the ps2 director’s cut leon, as opposed to the psx version, who is much more abrasive and cold to say the least. psx leon acts really nasty sometimes.
mine...he’s is a grumpy person, but it isn’t as if he purposefully goes out of his way to act mean to people. if leon’s help is needed and it does not come at a great inconvenience to himself, he’s grudgingly willing to lend a hand more often than not. complaining all the while, but still. his heart is in the right place.
A way that you and your muse are literally the same person:
leon and i are both heavily shaped by the expectations of our parents and the pressure to excel. our self-worth is tied to our accomplishments, and we are eager to prove ourselves for the same reason. maybe, as a result, i also share some of his defensive tendencies, although i’m much better at reining it in lol. at the end of the day, we are still very different people, but he is a character i can sympathize and relate to easily.
...on a lighter note, we are also both terrible, terrible picky eaters with a huge sweet tooth. i stare longingly at everything in his sweets tag.
A way that you and your muse are complete polar opposites:
leon’s the type of person to speak his mind, and he isn’t afraid to step on other people’s toes in order to get his opinion across. in most cases, he absolutely won’t back down or relent once he’s made up his mind on something.
i...don’t like arguing! haha. not unless i know you really well, anyways. so in a situation where leon might stand his ground and yell until he gets his way, i’ll probably be the first to back down and offer some sort of compromise (then kick myself later for being such a doormat). i know i’ve handed myself the short end of the stick a lot because of it, so it’s something i’m trying to change. but in general, i would rather we come to a nice agreement as soon as possible.
One major pet peeve of yours (doesn’t have to be rp related):
please don’t try to guilt-trip meeeeeee. i hate it. i hate it so much. it makes me feel terrible and it makes me feel like you are terrible, so just...don’t. i especially hate it when people ‘do something nice for me’ except i never asked for that nice thing in the first place (in some cases, i have asked them explicitly not to do so), and then they turn around, hold it over my head, and say i owe them.
don’t get me wrong, i’m grateful for a kind gesture! but if it’s done with that sort of ulterior motive where a person aims to have power over me, it’s basically unsolicited help with a lot of strings attached. and i don’t like that.
One thing that always makes you happy (doesn’t have to be rp related):
work has been going well! ...work is also the reason i havent been here very much lately (rip my 12 hour day last week) so it’s certainly making me unhappy in some ways lol, but i’ve recently completed a hugeeeee project i was allowed to lead, and the director as well as my supervisor gave me a lot of praise! i really wanted to make a good impression since i’m just a student there after all, and the project was a nice challenge. i’m almost glad that all of our senior staff are missing, because i would never have been given so much freedom with it otherwise. work makes me feel accomplished, and that makes me happy!
Tagged by: @ufemew-wexub and @broadswordandpistol, thank youuu <3
Tagging: i’m late and i don’t know who’s done it already...ummm @the-king-of-the-wind, @evasion-finalist, @fatedswords, @princessiasaffection, @loudyetkindheartdoctor and anyone else who may want to do it!
#[ andddd instead of doing a proper draft i did a meme. sorry lol#these are easier to do o)-< ]#outofduty#;munday#[ it's not munday but that's pretty much my tag for anything with lots of ooc info ]

Ship Breakdown ask
((I wasn’t tagged, just felt like answering this ^_^))
• How did they meet?
Sayeko: "Hehe… Um, well, it's kinda complicated… Levi may have confronted me in the Grand Staircase after I was unpetrified our second year. You see, we almost ran into each other while we were both practicing our 3DMG in the forbidden forest that Halloween (but I ran away cause I didn't want to get caught breaking the rules). Hermione then convinced me to help her brew the Polyjuice potion in Myrtle's bathroom, except I refused to go anytime the boys were there. Then after we got petrified by the basilisk, apparently Levi saw my father's wings of freedom sticking out of my pocket. So he put it all together and realized I was the friend Hermione wouldn't tell them about… I guess you could say I was pretty shy back then."
Levi: "You were never shy. You were just a stubborn, antisocial, brat. Still are actually."
Sayeko: *pouting* "Well, gee, I was kinda convinced that everyone would hate me so I wonder why I avoided people like the plague."
• Who developed romantic feelings first?
Sayeko: "I think that was me. *blushes* It was fourth year and I heard some Hufflepuff girls talking and giggling about him. I hate to say it, but it took me a couple days to realize why they made me feel jealous. I'd just never thought about him like that before and next thing I knew, I was fighting not to blush around him all the time. I didn't want to ruin our friendship."
• Who is their biggest “shipper?”
Sayeko: "Hanji. Without a doubt. Like apparently a lot of people were hoping we'd get together over the years, but she has been the most vocal. Erwin and Mike are the only ones in the corps that know we're dating, so it's almost a daily thing hearing Hanji say something about how we 'would be so cute together.' She might just die when she finds out we've been dating for three and a half years."
• When did they have their first kiss and under what circumstances?
Sayeko: "October 23, fifth year. As for the circumstances, that's private." ((Mun is in the process of writing this little fic(let), I just can't get one part right. Once I do, it will be posted.))
• Who confessed their feelings first?
Sayeko: "I guess you could say I did…"
• What was their first official date?
Sayeko: "We went to Hogsmeade together. Merlin, it was so awkward. My dormmates had been giving me unsolicited advice all week for making it a 'proper first date' and I think Levi was getting it too. Doing stereotypical date things just felt so forced and fake. We'd only been there an hour or so before we both just said fuck it and went to get butterbeer; the date was a hundred times better once we stopped acting like it was a date."
• How do they feel about double dates/group dates?
Levi: "Seeing as Ron and Hermione are dating now and Lightning is back with Ginny, pretty much anytime we see our friends is like a 'group date.' Honestly, I don't give a shit."
Sayeko: "What he means is, we're all friends so no one is gonna make a big deal about it, we're just all hanging out.
• What do they do in their down time?
Sayeko: "We don't have very much down time, so if we don't have plans with anyone we'd prefer to just stay in. Talk over a cup of tea, cuddle, read, that sorta thing."
• What was the first meeting of parents as an official couple like?
Sayeko: "Ah, now I don't mean anything bad by this, but it was awkward. See, my family is all dead, Levi's mother is dead, so that just left his father, Roland. Mr. Ackerman is very sweet, but he's not all there… He lives at St Mungo's because he was tortured when Levi was just a toddler. He doesn't always recognize Levi, or remember that he's grown up now. So it was a while before he started remembering me."
• What was their first fight over and how did they get past it?
Sayeko: "Sina, our first fight was not pretty. It was when Umbridge started making all those fucking ridiculous rules, like that boys and girls couldn't be within eight inches of each other. Levi wasn't thrilled, in fact he was downright pissed at what she was doing to Harry, so he started breaking them just to piss her off. Which meant he got a lot of detentions with that damn quill of hers. I wasn't going to just sit there and do nothing! So I started breaking the rules too. Levi was pissed, he didn't want me getting detention with her. I wouldn't talk to him for the rest of the day. But neither of us could go to bed angry so we did sit down and talk it out after dinner. Umbitch making a rule targeting me, a metamorphmagus, specifically may have also influenced Levi into agreeing with me."
• Which one is more easily made jealous?
Sayeko: "I wouldn't say either of us easily become jealous, but Levi is definitely more likely to act on it. He won't hesitate to tell someone to back the fuck off if they're bothering me."
• What is their favourite thing to get to eat?
Sayeko: "While it may get pretty loud at the Burrow, we can never turn down one of Mama's homecooked meals."
• Who’s the cuddly one? What their favourite cuddling position?
Sayeko: "Levi is super cuddly. Don't let him fool you, he loves being the big spoon."
• Are they hand holders?
Sayeko: "We do like to hold hands, but it's usually only in private."
• How long do they wait before sleeping together for the first time? What’s the circumstances?
Sayeko: *blushing furiously* "Uh, hehe, that's kinda personal… But, well, two years? Everyone thought we'd already gone, er, 'all the way' pretty early on but we really wanted to take our time. I mean, it's a big step! We were searching for the horcruxes with Hermione, Harry, and Ron, just camping all across England. And I guess it was just that there was no knowing if we'd have another day together, if the death eaters would find us the next day."
• Who tops?
Sayeko: "We both prefer Levi taking the lead."
• What’s the worst fight they’ve ever gotten into?
Sayeko: "Our worst fight was the first one. We've gotten better at communicating since then."
• Who does the shopping and the cooking?
Sayeko: "Levi does the shopping, I do the cooking. It's best this way, trust me."
• Which one is more organized and prone to tidiness?
Sayeko: "Is this even a question? Mr. Clean freak, of course! He's always getting on my case because my potions ingredients aren't 'organized.' They're organized just fine in my opinion, I know where everything is."
• Who proposes?
((Levi and Sayeko are still just dating so Mun will take over from here. They're old fashioned, so he'll be the one to propose.))
• Do they have joined Bachelor/Bachelorette parties or separate?
((Definitely separate parties. Neither are even partly involved in planning the parties, their friends just drag them out for the night.))
• Who is the best man/maid of honour? Any other groomsmen or bridesmaids?
((Harry and Hermione will be the best man and maid of honor. The other groomsmen will be Ron and Erwin; the bridesmaids will be Hanji and Luna.))
• Big Ceremony or Small?
((Levi and Sayeko would prefer a small ceremony, but they'll be stuck with a large wedding. They simply are too high profile in the wizarding world and Mrs. Weasley will insist on planning the whole ceremony and reception.))
• Do they have a honeymoon? If so, where?
((They do, but I haven't decided where.))
• Do they have children? How many?
((Despite Mun being childfree, Sayeko and Levi will have at least one, maybe two children. All I know is their first will be a boy and, if they do have a second it'll be a girl who will inherit being a metamorphmagus from Sayeko.))

Myers-Briggs: INFP-T (The Mediator) Mediator personalities are true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. While they may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, Mediators have an inner flame and passion that can truly shine. Comprising just 4% of the population, the risk of feeling misunderstood is unfortunately high for the Mediator personality type – but when they find like-minded people to spend their time with, the harmony they feel will be a fountain of joy and inspiration.
Ennegram: Type 2/6 I must be helpful and caring to survive. I must be secure and safe to survive.
Hogwarts House: Gryffindor Congratulations! You have been sorted into Gryffindor, the house of bravery and chivalry. You have nerve and courage. Not afraid to try anything! House colors: Red and Gold House ghost: Sir Nicholas House head: Professor McGonagall House founder: Godric Gryffindor House animal: Lion
Homestuck Sign: Viro
Famous Artwork: The Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo You're an epic, sprawling masterpiece who knows about everyone and everything. People always come to you for information and advice, because you contain multitudes. (Of dicks.)
Friend Group Role: The Godparent You're the godparent of your friend group: always loyal, even though you can drop off the edge of the earth a lot (and take forever to answer emails and texts). But you always show up for big events, and you're the first one called when someone needs to bury a body. Other godparents: Batman, Don Draper, April Ludgate.
Psychological Archetype: Archetype 6: The Innocent Ruler Your inner innocence is characterized by a childlike approach to the world. You are optimistic and believe that things will work out for the better. Sometimes this leads to being overly naïve and clueless, but your youthful spirit is rare. You also have an inner ruler that inspires you to take responsibility for your own life and seeks to create order and structure in society. This can make you bossy, but in general people respect you for your leadership skills.
Life Goals: Safety, order, harmony Fears: Abandonment, chaos, lack of control Response to Problems: Denial or action depending on situation Life Tasks: Happiness, Ownership of your life and goals Personal Gifts: Trust, optimism, loyalty, responsible, sovereign Personal Pitfalls: Naiveté, obliviousness, rigidity, controlling, entitled
Temperance: Melancholic The melancholic temperament is fundamentally introverted and thoughtful. Melancholic people often were perceived as very (or overly) pondering and considerate, getting rather worried when they could not be on time for events. Melancholics can be highly creative in activities such as poetry and art - and can become preoccupied with the tragedy and cruelty in the world. Often they are perfectionists. They are self-reliant and independent; one negative part of being a melancholic is that they can get so involved in what they are doing they forget to think of others.
Dere Type: Tsundere You are harsh on the outside but are really sweet on the inside. It takes some patience to get to know you, but once you open up you show your true caring side.
Moral Alignment: Chaotic Good A chaotic good character acts as his conscience directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he's kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society. Chaotic good is the best alignment you can be because it combines a good heart with a free spirit. However, chaotic good can be a dangerous alignment when it disrupts the order of society and punishes those who do well for themselves.
Disney Villain: Maleficent
Love Language: Words of Affirmation Actions don’t always speak louder than words. If this is your love language, unsolicited compliments mean the world to you. Hearing the words, “I love you,” are important— hearing the reasons behind that love sends your spirits skyward. Insults can leave you shattered and are not easily forgotten. You thrive on hearing kind and encouraging words that build you up. [Mun’s Opinion: Alright, I was honestly nervous about Eirida because her story is kind of chaotic and I was really concerned with how these answers would turn out -- but I’m pleasantly surprised??? So the Mediator is very much how I thought of her personality -- Eirida is quiet but she is always looking for the good in others. I also see the small similarities with the Artwork and Alignment between her and her brother, which I actually really liked? I personally think it shows that Eidd is raising her well or at least having some influence in her life and opinions. My favorite about this is the Archetype, because the Innocent Ruler really hits what I think of Eiri and how her personality should work. Her anxiety and fear hinders her a lot with some of the confidence mentioned in the description, but when she’s older I think this really embodies her. I’m SO glad she did end up in Gryffindor -- she was the one I was hoping would end up getting sorted there, because she does value courage and being brave as very important. Eiri has some potential in leading and being in Gryffindor affirms that for me, I guess? The dere result though -- Honestly, while I’m more inclined to think she’d be a ‘dere’ to everyone else, I have noticed when she becomes interested she gets a little bit of bite. (I blame Eidd and Neff) As for her love language, of course I believe it -- it’s so important to her to hear “I love you” or positive statements towards her, she thrives on it and Eidd’s way of talking to her really shows that he tries to do that as much as possible. Eirida is just a precious smol baby who needs to be protected tbh]

In a universe where she survives through to the GCW, does Siri forge any new relationships or is she open to new (sexual) relations? Or was Kenobi here one true love?
anonymous | send my muse a sexual or nsfw question and she has to answer honestly ( accepting )
Technically she survives through to the first few months of the Clone Wars, but I think that the answer is really ‘it depends’? Which I realize is something of a non answer.
In theory, she’s open to new romantic or sexual relationships.
I think it’s important to note that Siri wouldn’t believe that romantic or sexual relationships are necessarily breaking the Code as far as attachment is concerned. Yes, when she was sixteen and in love with Obi-Wan, she did think that love = attachment = breaking the Code. But in her adult years, she’s grown, and her understanding of love, and of attachment, and of the Jedi Code have all grown, too. Her Padawan, Ferus, even asks her at one point what it means to live without attachment, saying that it seems so hard, to have so many beings who were important to him but not to be attached, and that he didn’t understand what was meant by ‘no attachment.’ Siri’s response, after thinking about it for a moment, is to say that it means “To love without wanting to possess or influence. To cherish without keeping. To have without holding.” She also tells Ferus that it’s not something to understand, but rather, something to strive for.
You’ll notice that ‘love’ is right there in her explanation of living without attachment as something that is okay and not bad. ( Also please take note of Ferus asking Siri about a very taboo thing for Jedi and Siri giving him a thoughtful and genuine answer without any judgment or indication of it having been bad for him to ask. Unrelated to the purposes of this question, of course, but it’s such a Good Teacher Siri moment. )
So in theory, she’d be open to new romantic or sexual relationships.
However, in practice, it’s not quite so simple.
First of all, as your question was geared towards during the Clone Wars, it’s important to also note that she’s a General during that time. Her priority is her men, and being a good General for them. Her priority is the war, and ending it. She’s also quite disillusioned by the war even before her death, which as stated, is very early in the Clone Wars, and so I can only imagine that it would be significantly worse the longer the war drags on. So it’s inevitable that all of that would hinder her actually engaging in a sexual or romantic relationship with anyone. Besides that, even during the wartime, she’s going to have the lingering emotional baggage of her PTSD from having gone undercover years prior. She has a difficult time trusting people, and she has a difficult time letting anyone all the way in. ( Even Obi-Wan’s narration in one of the books, he proclaims to know her better than anyone, but gives the addendum that he knows her as well as anyone could know her because she keeps her deepest emotions known only to herself. That tendency of hers to keep her deepest emotions safeguarded is always going to be at issue, no matter who she’s with. )
And then after the war, assuming she lives through Order 66, there’s a whole new bucket full of reasons why it would be smartest not to get close enough to someone to start a romantic or sexual relationship.
( “What about casual sex?” you might ask. Not impossible, but I think that Siri does prefer some level of emotional connection with someone else before engaging in a sexual relationship. Not necessarily “love” as the emotional connection, but at least some level of friendship or understanding or something more than just ‘you bought me a drink, wanna bang’ though she’s certainly not judgmental at all towards anyone who does enjoy casual sex. More power to you. She just has a relatively low sex drive and it’s not her thing. )
As to if Obi-Wan was her one true love… I mean I don’t think she necessarily believes in a “One True Love” existing. Because love for her is more open and selfless, I think she believes that you can absolutely love more than one person in your life. At different times, or at the same time, and all loves are different even if they’re different types of romantic love. I don’t think she believes that there’s one person that’s your true love and that anyone else you love is necessarily lesser than that one person.
I do, however, think that in strictly canon verses, Obi-Wan was the only person that she ever truly loved. Not that she couldn’t have loved anyone else, but just that she didn’t.

So knowing Siri was willing and planning to die for Anakin and then also knowing she literally does die for Padmé, it almost makes it seem like she's got a death wish. Do you have any thoughts on why she's so willing to sacrifice herself for other people?
Yes, yes I have thoughts. I have a lot of thoughts.
I think there are a lot of things to unpack here, first generally, and then with Anakin and Padmé in those specific situations.
Generally speaking, Siri is always willing to stick her neck out for other people, even when she’s a Padawan. ( Examples include, but are not limited to, 12-year-old Siri jumping down an entire flight of stairs to block a blasterbolt for Obi-Wan because she sensed him trip; 16-year-old Siri jumping off a building to catch a falling Talesan Fry, the fall from which killed a bounty hunter before he’d reached the ground; being willing to fight to the death in defense of people on multiple occasions… ) This is how she believes that a Jedi should be. Jedi are meant to protect living beings. Jedi are defenders of peace and justice, they’re meant to defend those who cannot defend themselves, and those who they’re assigned to protect. It’s her job, and it’s one that she accepts, and takes seriously.
Now, as with everything, there’s a distinction between pre-Zora Siri and post-Zora Siri. And here the distinction is fairly important even if externally, for most people there probably isn’t a huge difference in the way she behaves towards others. ( Read: she probably comes off as having been just as willing to be self sacrificial as a Padawan as she is later in life. ) She still, certainly, believes that it’s her job, duty, and privilege as a Jedi to be willing to give her life for others.
However, post-Zora, Siri is keenly aware of how many lives were taken or destroyed while she was undercover. Either directly by her influence or just by any part of Krayn’s organization while she was still undercover working to gather enough information to pull together an airtight case to bring to the Senate. Post-Zora, I think that there’s at least some level of feeling like she owes it to…. I don’t even think she completely knows to whom. To everyone she couldn’t save. To the memory of the beings she allowed to suffer and die. To all her fellow Jedi who had all believed that she was capable of leaving the Order and betraying them by going to the dark side. And maybe she thinks on some level she owes it to herself, as some convoluted penance.
That’s generally. Now there’s also specific things that factor into those two specific scenarios you point out that are sort of above and beyond the general.
Regarding Anakin when she’s undercover. There’s a lot here for why she was ready, willing, and planning to die for him. He’s a child; he’s eleven, he’s a young Padawan still. And she knows that it’s her fault he’s there. ( Granted, it was Palpatine who forced the Council to send Obi-Wan and Anakin on the mission that got them tangled up in Siri’s mission – and whether or not Palpatine did that on purpose is a consideration for another day but anyway – Siri is aware that she’s the one who separated him and Obi-Wan. )
Everything had happened so fast. It was rare for Anakin to be caught by surprise. One moment he had been furious at Obi-Wan but ready to board the ship, and the next moment his Master was being blasted down the shaft. His Jedi reflexes still needed honing. Siri-Zora had completely turned the situation around while he was still absorbing what was happening.Krayn appeared on the catwalk above.
She really didn’t have time to do anything else that would have kept both of them safe and kept her cover with complete efficiency, and she had mere seconds before Krayn got there. But she knows that she separated them, she’s the one who trapped Anakin on Krayn’s ship with her, and she takes full responsibility for that.
And right from that moment she starts protecting him, even though he has no way of knowing it.
So Anakin said nothing as Krayn stomped toward them, the vibro-ax twirling like a child’s toy in his other hand.“What’s this? Have you caught our intruder?”“No. This is nobody, just a slave,” Siri said. “I grabbed him as a shield just in case, but he wasn’t needed. I’m afraid our intruders took the exhaust tunnel back into space.”
[…]
While Krayn’s back was to them and Rashtah was distracted, Siri reached over and deftly removed Anakin’s lightsaber from his utility belt.
Again, she had been quicker than his perception. She did it so quickly and smoothly that he barely registered that he had been disarmed. She thrust the lightsaber inside her tunic in the same smooth motion.
She takes responsibility for him and, really, treats him as though he’s her own Padawan. She’s taking responsibility for Obi-Wan’s Padawan, which is very serious in the Jedi Order, since the relationship between Master and Padawan is almost a sacred bond. For a Jedi to be given responsibility in any sense over another Master’s Padawan, it is the promise of protection as if that Padawan was their own. It is a deep level of responsibility. Later on, Mace Windu even vocalizes that reminder to Obi-Wan when he’s put in charge of Ferus for a mission when Siri isn’t going to be there:
“You will be responsible for another Jedi’s Padawan,“ Mace Windu told Obi-Wan. "You know what this means.”
“It is as if he is my own,” Obi-Wan said, looking at Siri. Her clear, deep blue gaze told him that she trusted him.
Now, while Siri wasn’t “officially” in charge of Anakin, and technically she’s still a Padawan herself at the time, she undoubtedly knows about that, and how serious it is. She’s also well aware of how dangerous it is on Krayn’s ship and on Nar Shaddaa, and she’ll be damned if she’s going to let anything worse happen to Anakin.
Now besides all of that, and her deep sense of responsibility for Anakin there, there’s also the fact that going undercover was borderline a suicide mission. Read: Siri had known from the beginning that there was a chance she wouldn’t be coming back. Especially two years into the mission, she’s well aware that she’s probably not going to get back.
But she’s not going to let Anakin die if she can at all help it.
And then on to Padmé. It’s only a few months into the Clone Wars at the time but we already see how disillusioned and tired Siri is of the war.
“Jedi don’t become Generals in galactic-wide wars, either. Jedi don’t watch their fellow Jedi be blown apart in great battles. Things have changed. Have you noticed?”
[…]
“Once, for me, there were no questions, only answers,” Siri said. As her mood altered, her brilliant blue eyes shifted to navy. He had forgotten how that happened, how the color of her eyes could deepen with her feelings. “I’ve changed. Now I question everything. I’ve seen too much, I fear too much of what the galaxy is becoming,”
She’s tired. She doesn’t even think that the Jedi are being Jedi anymore, that they’ve been forced into a role that they don’t belong in. ( Granted, I think that her ‘I’ve changed’ and ‘now I question everything, I’ve seen too much,’ stems more from having been undercover than the war, but it certainly factors in here. ) I’m not really saying that she wishes she was dead already, but she certainly wants the war to be over and would do whatever she thought she had to in order for it to end quickly. She even questions every mission she had in the past and berates herself for not having seen the seeds of the Separatist movements before war broke out. ( To quote Obi-Wan: Siri, you’re asking too much of yourself. )
And there is one particular moment when her tenses are, perhaps, subconsciously telling, when she says to Obi-Wan a chapter or so later: “I’ve lived the life I wanted to live.” Not ‘I’m living the life I want to live.’ ( Now, the rest of the conversation is in present tense and does look to the future, but it’s always stood out to me how in that moment, with that one line, it’s as though Siri’s verbally acknowledging that if she was to die tomorrow she’d be fine with that. ) She’s only thirty-three years old and she’s already saying “I’ve lived the life I wanted to live” as though she’s completely accepting of death at any moment. Which could be a sort of death wish, but is also quite sad, really.
Now with Padmé specifically… it’s important to remember that while Padmé was in the starfighter with her, Obi-Wan and Talesan Fry were also in another starfighter, also being chased and shot at by the bounty hunter, and really, Siri died saving all three of them.
Certainly at least part of it is because of her certainty that Talesan’s codebreaker and scientific knowledge would help end the war sooner, and we know that Siri is shown to admire Padmé, even though she’s shown to strongly dislike pretty much every other politician, so she probably also has a good deal of faith in Padmé’s ability to aid the end of the war. ( And Obi-Wan is one of her closest and oldest friends. ) So that’s absolutely a factor into why she’s so willing to die saving them.
But also, she genuinely believed that doing what she was about to do was their only chance at all of them being safe.
“Siri, don’t do it,” Padme said. “There’s still a chance —”
“This is our chance. Can you hold it steady?” Padme nodded.
“When I tell you to cut back, cut back.”
“You’ll fall —”
Siri grinned. “No, I won’t. I’ll jump.”
“No —”
But Siri was already opening the hatch and climbing out.
And in the only page of POV narration we get from Siri’s perspective, she even narrates knowing that it’s crazy, but that it just might work. ( Spoiler alert, it does work, but she dies. But it does work. )
So basically, while yes she is self sacrificial and can have a bit of a death wish sometimes, that’s certainly not her only reason.

sb in the Ferus Olin tags: I don’t like Ferus because he was a jerk to the other kids because he looked down on them. actual canon Ferus Olin: knew he wasn’t liked on a personal level by the other students and was aware that they made fun of him behind his back, but still helped everyone with their homework every time they came to him for help with their studies and answers for classes.
sb in the Ferus Olin tags: I don’t like Ferus because he was insufferable and cold. actual canon Ferus Olin: regularly gets made fun of behind his back by the other students for that exact reason, including: no one inviting him to come sit with them, and calling him names such as ‘a tunic stuffed with feathers and the Force,’ and ‘ruler of Planet Dull.’
sb in the Ferus Olin tags: I don’t like Ferus, I’d rather hang out with Darra. actual canon Ferus Olin: narrates on more than one occasion that he wishes he was more like Darra or Tru Veld and if he was then maybe he’d have friends.
me, an intellectual: you, person, are exactly part of the problem as to why Ferus Olin had no friends his entire time at the Jedi Temple, was regularly bullied by the other students, and was used by all of the other students for help with their studies while none of them actually wanted to be around him other than to get answers.

Casual reminder that despite making an impact on the lives of just about everyone she met, Siri had very few friends. In fact, there are only two people to ever explicitly call her ‘friend.’ Davi who she met on Kegan on her first mission as a Jedi Padawan, and Obi-Wan. Davi calls her his friend in the context of agreeing with her when she initiates saying that she and Obi-Wan are his friends.
Obi-Wan is the only person to narrate or say on more than one occasion that Siri is his friend.
Siri herself doesn’t necessarily even assume that anyone is her friend. She refers to Bant Eerin and Garen Muln as ‘friends of yours’ when speaking to Obi-Wan, not ‘friends of ours,’ even though she, too, seems to have a long standing friendship with them. Even Ferus doesn’t assume her friendships; Ferus at one points narrates that ‘all Jedi knew Siri Tachi,’ but he never qualifies that, never says that she was friends with all Jedi, that many Jedi were friends with her, or even ever uses the word friendship when describing her relationship with anyone.
Even Ry-Gaul, who goes on at least four missions with Siri ( and who immediately remembers Ferus has her former Padawan a minimum of seven years after Ferus resigned, and who immediately trusts Ferus because of that ) does not call Siri his friend when recalling to another former Jedi that he and his own former Padawan used to go on missions with her.
Even Dex Jettster, who recognizes Ferus on sight after not having seen him in at least seven years ( probably more ) and remembers him on the basis of Siri having brought him to the café, does not call Siri his friend, despite immediately offering Ferus his assistance, and saying that he is still a friend to Obi-Wan.
Even Anakin, who narrates liking Siri a lot, has gone on a minimum of seven missions with her, whose life she saved on more than one occasion, and who she went out of her way to vocally support in front of the Council and the Senate, never calls her a friend.
No one other than Obi-Wan ever actually, explicitly claims Siri as their friend.
Siri can casually befriend just about anyone, and her vivacity and loyalty earns her the respect and trust of just about everyone she comes into contact with, but forming deep friendships seems to be something she struggles with. She makes a lasting impression, and even years after her death, Ferus is regularly recognized, helped, and trusted at least in part** because of her, but she did not have many friends.
Further reminder that everyone she’d known growing up, the entire Jedi Order, believed that she had betrayed them, left, and gone to the dark side when in truth she was undercover. She’s well aware that this was of her own making, and that everyone was simply believing what they were meant to believe, but every being she had gone to classes with, every being she had grown up with, everyone she had sparred with and gone on missions as a Padawan with... everyone believed she had left.
And even before that, as a Youngling she’s described as having been too serious, too studious, and never hanging out with the other students on her free time. There had to have come a time when after so many ‘I’m just going to study’ responses, the other children simply stopped asking her if she wanted to play with them.
It’s no wonder that Siri was not very good at forming deep friendships.
**This is not to take away from Ferus earning the help and trust of those people on his own merit, which he absolutely did.
#:: self reflection ( headcanons )#it's not really a headcanon? but I guess that's a good organizational place to put it?#but like this is real and canon and /sad/ and should never be forgotten.#Siri was vivacious and well known among her peers but she was /lonely/ in that she did not have deep friendships#and yet look at her relationship with Obi-Wan and with Ferus: she is an incredibly good friend. she is loyal to a fault.#she is protective of those she loves. she is supportive of those she loves -- she will back you against the Council.#and yet this is a level of support that she seems not to get back in return#:: unsolicited opinions ( mun's thoughts )#idk maybe it goes in that tag too/instead

for your daily dose of Zora feels ( that have been sorely lacking for a number of days ) …casual reminder that probably* the first time in two years that Siri heard someone call her by her real name was when her best friend told her she’d betrayed every part of the code. and the next time someone called her by her real name it was when Anakin was blowing her cover.
probably not the context in which she’d hoped to hear her name.
*I say probably, because I imagine that near the beginning of her mission, the Council members may have called her by her real name in their coded transmissions. but there would have been a transition from that, the deeper under cover she got, for her safety. ( I tend to imagine this switch occurred shortly after she’d officially gotten into Krayn’s organization at the bottom, probably around the time she moved up a little. ) the Council does seem very aware of the danger she’s in at every single moment, and Adi, Mace, and Yoda particularly ( especially Adi ) seem hyper aware of always remembering that if her identity is compromised, she’s dead.
further casual reminder that if Obi-Wan hadn’t called her by her real name and accused her of betraying the Jedi, then Anakin wouldn’t have even known her real name or her ‘former’ life as a Jedi, and Anakin wouldn’t have been able to blow her cover.
how much do you think that Siri had always hoped that the first time she’d hear her real name would be Adi telling her she can come home. Adi telling her she’d done well. Adi welcoming her home after the mission was over. Adi telling her she’s proud of her.
certainly, she wouldn’t have wanted to hear her name thrown in her face by her closest friend, the friend who self-professes to know her better than anyone.
and yet a further reminder that Krayn himself then called her by her real name while setting her and Anakin to be executed. almost certainly the one being in the entire galaxy she never wanted to hear say her name.
and yet another reminder that even as he blew her cover, Siri never compromised Anakin’s identity. he did that himself by calling the Jedi ‘us.’ Siri probably could have thrown him under the bus to save herself and worry about breaking him out later, but she didn’t. she never once confirmed her identity as a Jedi or Anakin’s. and she didn’t even speak freely to him until she’d checked their cell for listening devices, to ensure that she didn’t compromise him in any way even after he blew her two-year operation.
and she never blames Anakin for blowing her cover once he’s realized what he’s done. she immediately brushes off his apology as unnecessary, telling him that her risks are her own, that he isn’t to blame, and then makes him laugh by lightly teasing Obi-Wan. two years of work in hell set to end in public execution, and she doesn’t even once say ‘yeah, kid, how about learning to keep your mouth shut or like, chill for five seconds.’ no. she goes out of her way to make him as comfortable as possible whilst locked in a cell set to be execution.
.....this started out as a casual reminder about how the context in which she was called her real name for the first time in nearly two years had to hurt, and ended up sort of rambling about the depth of Siri’s goodness. because really, where this has spiraled towards is one more reminder: that is is incredibly badass of Siri to have been able to spend two years undercover doing and seeing seriously bad shit, and not lose her humanity or her goodness throughout it. did she get a little rough around the edges? yes. did everything that she did undercover haunt her until her death? yes. but did she somehow manage to remain a deeply good, caring, person? yes.
#re:: zora#I have feelings. I have a lot of feelings. I have innumerable feelings about Siri's mission as Zora.#I have a million and one feelings about the relationship between Siri and Anakin in this particular circumstance.#(I still need to meta about Siri's trust in Anakin and how it shifts on Andara when he abandons Ferus)#:: self reflection ( headcanons )#:: unsolicited opinions ( mun's thoughts )#idk if this is a headcanon or a meta or some mixture of both. or just a bunch of jumbled up feelings.#for your daily dose#:: to live a lie takes a toll ( zora headcanons )

sometimes I remember that when Siri went undercover and ‘left’ the Order, every Jedi in the Order except the twelve Council members who knew her mission thought that she had left and gone to the dark side. including Obi-Wan whose narration claims on more than one occasion to know her better than anyone. no one she had grown up with for twenty-three years believed in her.
and then when Krayn heard Anakin break Siri’s cover by outing her as a Jedi, Krayn doesn’t even fully believe that she’s actually a traitor after knowing her for only two years, and only sentences her to execution because she’s the one who counseled him against taking unnecessary risks and it’s a risk to have someone who maybe is a traitor. like. an intergalactic pirate-slaver who has a ‘kill on sight’ order out against all Jedi believed in Zora more than anyone believed in Siri.
