So, it's Christmas. Normally I never make this type of Christmas special, normally because every year I usually have no one in specific online to be grateful for, aside from my followers. "Hmm?" You hum quietly as you keep your head on his chest. You feel him laugh slightly, "That no one has figured us out yet." 

You laugh, moving your head to look up at him, "Well now you just jinxed the hell out of that." 

He shrugs, a smirk on his face, "I mean I like us being a secret and all, but it's so hard for me to not say certain things when you're on the pod with us." 

You nod, "Yeah, I know what you mean." You smirk, "So what, is that your way of telling me you're going to out us at tomorrow's show?" 

He raises his brows, "I'm full of surprises babe. Guess you're going to have to wait and see."

The next day, you're sitting on the red bench, headphones on and you're getting ready to do the show, but your mind just isn't there. 

Instead it's elsewhere. 

Specifically, replaying the time spent with Zach the previous night.

You lean back, placing your headphones back on and Tara speaks up, "So I have to ask, how does it feel being better than two of the most liked ghost hunters in the world?" 

You laugh slightly, "What do you mean?" 

"I know you do paranormal investigation stuff too, and just the fact that Sam and Colby are coming to you for stuff.. I don't know that just.." Tara laughs and you tilt your head, "Are you just saying that to make a jab at them?" 

She nods and lean in to your mic, "Well then it feels pretty damn good." 

"Alright, alright. Anymore and we'll be scraping your brain off the walls from your head swelling to the point of exploding." Zach tries not to laugh and you shrug, "Hey, I take it when I can." 

You give him a quick and subtle wink then quickly change the subject, "Cat got Zach's tongue so I'll just go ahead and do the intro for him." You laugh, "What's up guys, we're here with Tara, Alyssa, me, Jared and oh, I guess Zach is here too." 

Zach just stares at you and you can't help but laugh. 

"Okay, but I love the fact that she announced Tara and me first." Alyssa laughs and you point to her. Tara nods, "Yeah, I'm going to have to say that we need to all vote to make y/n the person who announces the show." 

"Like a pre-recorded track because there are days she isn't here." Alyssa points out and you nod, "I agree. All in favor." You raise your hand and instantly say, "Three versus two. Girls win." 

"Youre ridiculous. Who invited you here anyway?" Zach rolls his eyes and you furrow your brows, "Um, you?"

"I can't tell if they're joking." Alyssa laughs and Tara cuts in, "Yeahhh, I mean, okay. I've actually been extremely suspicions about these two for weeks now."

"Oh please tell us what made you think that, Tara." Jared leans in, super invested into the conversation. 

You look up and look from Tara to Zach and he shrugs, "Hit me." He nods to Tara and she smirks, looking between you and Zach, "Well for starters, he stares at her every time she looks away."

Zach reaches for his water and takes a sip, "Listen, we played dumb, but we knew what we were doing." Zach scoffs, "Alright. You can't tell me that you weren't fooled."

"I knew my suspicions were there for a reason." Tara laughs, "How long?" 

"Two months." You laugh and they don't believe you.  Zach nods, "No she's serious.  It was after the episode with Jake and Johnnie." 

"Oh shit, yeah I guess that was two months ago." Tara nods, "I'm just like.. having a holy fuck moment." 

"Yeah." Zach laughs, "She came to see if I was as rich as I bragged that I was, and I must have passed inspection because she didn't go home that night."

What was my theme again this week? Just kidding, I watched P10L today so I'm full-up on Faifa love and dreamy sighs this morning. I came to this asking myself "What characters took up residence in my head and made me obsess over them for awhile?" Even then it was hard to narrow it down, and some of my choices were all over the place. A common theme I appreciate is what made up this list. Drum roll please: I love a character who is all in supporting/loving/taking care of their partner. Sometimes I like them soft and fluffy like Faifa, sometimes I like them a little toxic and crazy, extra points if they rock some delicious daddy dom energy. (Sprinkle in some delicious angst and pain and I am ALL IN.) I can think of a lot of characters who COULD have made this list based off the theme, many are characters I liked from series I enjoyed. But, if they're going to take up residence in my head, they have to have a little something extra that sets them apart from the crowd, a special ingredient that makes me obsess over them. Each of the characters in my list has that something extra. I won't bore y'all with the details here, but if anyone wants to know what makes me love any of these characters in particular or just to squee together, I'm happy to talk all day about my favorites in another post.

My favorite characters are ones that make me live their pain. I love when characters bring me along for their emotional journey. But these characters caused me wounds that need to heal, only to eventually scar and become part of me. That isn't to say that characters that hurt me are the only characters I love an unhealthy amount, but they are the ones I spend WAY too much time thinking about and can't forget.

Although I definitely enjoy some angst and pain, I really don't like being hurt too badly and need a happy ending. I don't want to end up ugly crying with a face full of tears and snot! Some of these characters did me real dirty and can not be forgiven for what they put me through! Looking at you Jack & Joke, Namping, Ko Yeong, and EVERYONE in Begins Youth!

Also, when putting together this list, I made myself a rule that I couldn't pick multiple characters from the same show. I mostly followed this rule, with a couple exceptions... I couldn't let 7 of the 9 be characters from Begins Youth! I lived in the pain of that show for WEEKS! Fadel lost by a hair to Bison. Fadel hurt me longer and gave me way more wounds, and part of me loves him more. But another part of me is still on the freaking beach with Bison asking Kant if he's fooling him again! That single moment cut me deep. And I had originally picked Third from Theory of Love because there was so much pain there. But I found myself stuck in that train station with Khai, his quiet and accepting tears, blaming no one for his pain and loneliness other than himself. I went through similar process with all the people that made it on this list. These are some of the characters I have spent the most time thinking about and living in their pain.

Read your review, right and it made me realise my mistake. I- I didn't even notice the title was all caps. Which is something I like- it's my bad theorist thing right? Mainly because it doesn't make sense. But the more I look at them, the more it feels like- IT FEELS LIKE they're trying to say something.

And I'm still not over the Vanny masks. Count that with the "SMG3 takeover" with Steam and I'm getting uncomfortable(/pos) by the second. Like I know the idea of an arc where 3 and 4 are the antagonists together (TOGETHER???!?%??!!?!???%?!?!?! 😳😳😳😳😳😲😲😨😲😲😲😳😳) and they need help to get their shit together like. I'd be SOOOOO here for it.

And anyways, do you think 4 sometimes thinks about how he should've died with the castle so he wouldn't need to live with that guilt, that maybe why he was so non chalant about it even this time all things considered because he feels like it'll be something he will never live down? The inside out episode still feels so out of place to me. It had to mean something to this. What if Glitchtrap!Puzzles and 3 and 4 are like Gregory and Vanessa. This is an idea that kills me. It is actively stabbing me in the back. Like, the implications are crazy. Especially if you know how the whole digital infection thing Glitchtrap does works. Because I won't lie if the IGBP thing can be compared to it, maybe 4 DOES have a reason to want to die as much as I hate to say that.

it's always these titles, dude, they're trying to mess with us (TEAM WHEN I GET YOU TEAM /silly). a reverse-WOTFI 2023, where instead of 4 & 3 working together as protagonists, they'll be the antagonist duo...

IGBP, oh i've been thinking about the implications of 4 for MONTHS. i have too many thoughts about it that you guys need to shove me into the basement to make me stop talking 😊💙

anyway 4, buddy, you need to get therapy. you need it bc there is absolutely no way you haven't been constantly thinking about IGBP. Chat, 4 does think about it but he's suppressing it so much that we as the audience can't see it. EXCEPT in wotfi 2025, when Mr Puzzles took control of the channel for Puzzle Park. When 4 least expected it, he gets reminded of what happened, and this time, he couldn't hide. so yeah, makes sense why he thinks this way and he's a ticking bomb of guilt oof

"SMG4: Inside Out" strikes again, they can't keep getting away with it!! something is off about that episode and the main 2 things I was able to come up with are that 4 is currently (1) Mr Puzzles' failsafe to bring back goop!4, or (2) the unintentional spy. but because of the Vanny mask, my third might come true after all, 4's mind is going to be altered. Painfully, if we're going through the Glitchtrap route. If it's exactly how it is in FNAF, then 4 would be to be emotionally vulnerable for the plan to work, at his lowest (point, wow just like Puzzles). Possibly, at the same level as he did for MAR10 Day. Or worse, surpass it.

I've been wanting to write a Kamitani post for a while now as I get closer and closer to her heel turn because I'm just absolutely floored at how masterfully the whole thing has been handled. I keep getting overwhelmed almost trying to write it, like there's too much good stuff I'll miss something. I don't think this was intentional foreshadowing going back this far, but it worked out that you can see the seeds perfectly laid out in the title match between Maika & Kamitani months before. In that match, Maika sees them as rivals. Two people who are very committed to competing against each other, but in an ultimately friendly way! It's sporting, and there's no reason they couldn't work together instead.

Whereas Kamitani wants Maika to actually fucking die.

So a few months later when Kamitani had lost everything and was a snivelling loser failure (/pos, this is her ideal form) it should have raised SERIOUS ALARMS when she reacted to that by being BESTEST BEST FWIENDS with Maika. She started acting like a character from TJPW out of *nowhere*. At the time I remember being taken aback by how sudden a pivot it was for her character, but I wasn't yet familiar with just how crazy Stardom can be now. I really thought Kamitani just got insane fan backlash over QQ disbanding and they were trying real hard to make her an ultra babyface.

But the thing that floors me is why I think it works. Because as a character, she's completely fake. And I think I could do a good post about how she kept losing to Mei in this period because "hardworking committed babyfabe High Speed champ Kamitani" was an insincere act. But as a performance? It feels completely real. And ofc I can't say for sure, but my guess is that it works because she really is friends with the people she interacted with during this period. It's such a wonderful thing that you can sort of only get from wrestling, you know? This fake story told with real emotions. And I think that's why her turn is so effective.

And it's not like heel Kamitani has felt "fake" or insincere or anything. She's had so much depth as a character and it still feels like it comes from such a genuine place. She showed a glimpse of this all the way back in her white belt run, particularly against Ami, and it really feels like her truest self unleashed. I think that's part of what keeps getting me about every character change, every performance right now. It all feels so honest, it has that wrestling feeling of always feeling like reality turned up to 11. This train of thought is petering out and idk that I have a conclusion to this just. God it's so good. It's SO good. I've talked before about how part of why I like wrestling stories about people hating each other and betrayals and negative emotions is that when you get glimpses behind the story it's that much more likely to be something nice. When your story is everyone being friends and working together, seeing something else slip through is more likely to feel bad, you know? So this whole story is just like. I don't know. What a great example of getting to have it all.

Honestly tho Solar is the best at it (he was able to start up a conversation with Moon easier than Moon could with him) and I imagine he's the one who orders at restaurants

And Moon hates both of Solar's boyfriends and Moon and Solar are friends and I think that's just kind of funny. Like Moon likes Solar so he doesn't stop being friends with him even though he's dating the two, but he's bitter about it (though honestly if Nexus had a redemption arc and it was proved he had a virus, I feel like Moon would hate him a little less. But he'd probaly still be insecure about Nexus probaly taking his place and everyone not really liking Moon again so he'd probaly still be an ass to him.)

Anyway they cuddle. Doesn't even have to be romantic, those three deserve to be in love (also the potential from forbidden love Eclipse² is Nausnsusnsn)

Adult Scooby-Doo TV Show Pitch

So, the idea with my theoretical Adult Swim Scooby-Doo TV Show is to avoid any inclination this is a reimagining. I'm envisioning this is as being a sort of continuation of the concepts and story present in Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost, and Alien Invaders. But, attempting to keep up the original episodic format of "Where Are You?" and breaking some limits of what you can put these characters through.

Part of the reason "Zombie Island" works, is because these are the same characters we grew up with. But they're a little older now too. They all have jobs, they're long past high-school, they have adult expectations. But for the most part, Hanna-Barbera doesn't change anything about Mystery Inc's personality, and instead drops them into a scenario that is dark and gritty. Which makes it far more terrifying.

But another reason is Zombie Island keeps the inherent comedy without sacrificing the horror. Good stuff.

So how do you take the concepts of Zombie Island, and transform it into a monster of the week Scooby-Doo show?

Coast to Coast with Scooby-Doo!

Part I: The Plot

After the harrowing experiences dealing with true brushes with the supernatural and the paranormal, Daphne Blake is now more convinced then ever that she needs live footage of a real honest to good ghost. If they can get one on camera, and report it, this will be the find of a century.

Sticking with the original plan, Scoob & The Gang travel across America investigating real folklore and horrors, in hopes of finding something real.

Part II: The Formula

So, Coast to Coast With Scooby-Doo is kind of a mix of genres. But for the most part, I want it to be a Horror Comedy Mystery show, but it's also a road trip show. One of the things I liked about Zombie Island, is that it took place in New Orleans, and introduced us to real New Orleans cuisine. From beignets, to po' boys, crawdads, gumbo and jambalaya. But it also told us about the voodoo scene in New Orleans.

I'm now dead set on heading out to New Orleans sometime just to try the food, and I think that's something that can really help drag Scooby-Doo down to earth. It makes you really want to visit these places, and maybe investigate a haunting while you're there too.

So, here's the setup.

Spooky Cold Open, probably a Murder

Scoob & The Gang ride the mystery machine into town, probably with some sort of banter. Velma brings up where they're going, and Shag is like "Yo man, it's been a minute since we've been out to New York! You guys think Trinidad Golden Palace is still open? Like they had one crazy Shark Sandwich dude!" Then another member of the gang brings up they're actually looking to go to the statue of Liberty, where, by the way, there is ACTUAL rumors of buried treasure and ghosts. This changes depending on local

The gang stumble upon mystery, ask questions, find out gruesome details, meet suspects. Daphne & Fred interview some people.

They film the hauntings as they're happening, and search for clues.

Then, as the episode progresses we figure out whether or not this thing is real or fake. If it's real, the gang have to find a way to take down the monster using ingenuity and what they've found in the episode, or they have to capture the culprit and breakdown the mystery.

Small things, but I feel like having a constant bet between characters whether or not it's real or if it's fake would be something really fun actually. I think the audience would have fun getting in on the question too, and guessing along with the gang.

Part III: The Adult Part

So, this is a show for adults, but the fact it's FOR adults will not override that it IS Scooby-Doo. Which is to say, that it will have murder, swearing, mentions of sex, but it will not go beyond what you expect in terms of tone from Scooby-Doo. It's a fun horror comedy mystery show about 4 friends and their dog who investigate spooky mysteries. You can't change that core premise or you risk it no longer being Scooby-Doo and something else entirely.

So if you need a member of the gang to swear for a scene, you can, but it can't breach too far out of character for the group. Like Fred can say fuck, but he's still the leader Dad type guy who likes Daphne, and likes building absurd rube goldberg type traps. Shaggy can smoke weed, but he's still the goofy moral center of the group. He makes fun sandwiches, he cracks dumb jokes, he's scared of getting stabbed, but he sticks around for his friends. Velma can be a lesbian, but she's still the quirky smart character who loves books and science.

But most importantly you need to make sure it's still abundantly clear to the audience that no matter how much drama or crazy shit they see, Scoob & The Gang are all best friends who love working together.

yess! this post from the other day is a good starting point (and i think op has some similar lists on their blog) but here are a few that would be good to get started with if you want to branch out:

(btw, these are only games i've played - there are a few i see recced a lot that i haven't gotten around to yet lol)

divinity: original sin 2 - you've probably heard of this if you're into bg3, but it's worth trying. the gameplay is very similar, except it doesn't use a d&d ruleset or have any animated cutscenes. there are romancable companions, but they work differently to bg3 in the sense that you have to choose your party composition early in the game and stick with it, which is fun for replayability imo. i don't think the companions are as interesting as the ones in bg3 either but they all have interesting stories that run parallel to the main plot

pathfinder: wrath of the righteous - wotr is another crpg, imo it can be a little hard to wrap your head around at first compared to bg3, but once you're past the learning curve it's really fun. the writing and companions are all really interesting and it's great for letting you roleplay as a wide range of characters and moralities - some of the romances go deep into sicko territory which is great for me personally. there's a ton of reactivity as well, each "path" (your specialisation) has its own set of quests and will affect your relationships with companions. nobody will love you if you become a lich :( . the main issue with the game tho is it's bloated and long (i've literally never finished a run because i get distracted 80 hours in) but it's worth the time you put into it imo

baldurs gate 1 & 2 - these games are kind of dated but if you can handle dao, you can probably manage them? it took me a few tries to get a feel for the first one, but once i got into it i played through both games without stopping lol. they're real time with pause like origins and only the second one has romance (though the ee version adds romancable companions that appear in both games which is fun).

pillars of eternity 1 & 2 - honestly, i'm not super into these games but other people really like them and i understand why. they're a really good modernisation of the original baldurs gate / infinity engine games with a narrative that lots of people are into. the first game has no romance and is real time with pause, while the second game will let you romance characters (some of them reappear from the first game, so i guess you can treat it like a realllly slow burn) and play either real time with pause or turn based.

disco elysium - okay, there's technically no romance but it's so good that i'll rec it anyway. it's a crpg but has no actual combat, the writing and story are really unique and it's just a great experience to have.

enderal: forgotten stories special edition - this game is really hard to recommend because it makes me sound crazy but please hear me out. this skyrim mod is maybe one of the best games i've ever played. if you have skyrim special edition you can download and run it for free, mechanically it runs pretty much like skyrim but the writing and story are insane. the romances are also good, there are only two main ones but they're very tied to the plot.

skyrim...?: if you haven't already played skyrim and you want to get it for enderal then it's also worth playing anyway. it's my horrible wife that poisons me whenever i try to divorce her but it's a fun experience. the romance is pretty shit but there are some good mods with romancable companions (i like gore, he reminds me of marcus lol). it has a lot of the same issues in its writing as dai does, but the world is designed so well that i can play for hundreds of hours just doing my own thing and ignoring the main quest

there are LOADS more but these are just a fun starting point based on liking bioware and bg3, hope you enjoy!

The canon ending of 21 questions is the platonic ending. 21q happens in 2019, Clem move to London in 2021 and ( spoiler alert ) will be spotted in Apple bag which takes place in 2022. Clem’s character and story haven’t entirely been revealed in his game for reasons that I’ll hopefully share in a futur but it’s for the same reasons that realistically… the relationship in 21q is destined to end with distance.

BUT that not the end if you imagine a future with Clem. If your intention is to romance them then there is an open window for the timeline where he’s a bit older. When exactly ? I won’t spoil but all I have to say is that this relationship can work on long term ! It’s just a good person, wrong moment situation and once you know everything about him, then his romance options become more real :}
