OOOH okay SO theres this book called Just Ash by Sol Santana, and the main character is intersex!! ive only ever once seen an intersex character in a piece of media, and that was 7 years ago. Just Ash kinda details the struggles that some intersex people can go through, and i learned a lot because of it (i didnt even know that salt wasting was a thing before reading this book). I’m not gonna lie- I don’t super know what this song means, and neither would Guy. I do know that it’s fun, it’s a love song, it’s indie rock, and it’s a classic. This strikes me as the type of song that Guy knows all the words and can perform without a second thought, thus he loves turning it up and singing it at you whenever it comes on in the car.

David is a runner-up for you because I love A4A pairings, and David is my favorite Redacted boi to headcanon as autistic after Guy. see, i already assumed there was already some sort of story line to them. (as songs usual have)

one thing that did it for me was repetitive material. like, things mentioned in songs and even the album covers. ya know like, same art medium/colors/ideas. even song titles i had already assumed they were linked together. ESPECIALLY IN MSR im so close to tying the whole thing together.

A) everyone assumes he made ATP (wholly shit dont get me started on that abriviation) was made for techno and i leaned to that idea bc of a few things:

okay lemme explain,

so i was like, what in 5th grade or smth? it was a long fucking time ago, anyway, i was deep into the mind and sleep and shit and this was around the time when i REALLY couldnt sleep and melatonin abuse and shit and blah blah blah (thats why i like melatonin 130 so much too btw)

so one of the things i learned is REM. It literally means "rapid eye movement" and its basically when your brain is most active when you are asleep, AKA when you start dreaming. your eyes literally start moving around and shit its weird and awesome.

so i had a hunch (if he is talking abt tech) that hes dreaming about them (or whoever he means the song for) also, the whole bycicle and figure of 8 shit, its mentioned in like half the songs.

Crazy fucking shift today btw a little girl who was maybe like 9/10 came up in a Lovejoy sweatshirt and I was, to the mom, like oh wow haha I used to listen to them all the time and the little girl just starts absolutely beaming like you know Lovejoy and I can't like haha yeah when I was a teenager. Im in the middle of my shift I can't pull this mom aside like that guys a serial abuser by the way and his content isn't for children so I just smile and the mom is all like omg its so cool that you know them, she loves Wilbur. And I just have to go make their drinks because we're so fucking packed like that never happened and. I'm just so. stuck. Like thinking about it. Like this child nor her mother have no reasonable way to be in the space that knows about the fact he's a shit person because that would involve one this child having access to things like Twitter and two this mom being involved in those online places but also just like this poor woman has no idea what her child is listening to nor who she is watching. She's just not!! Fucking paying attention to the content her child is consuming!! that man as awful as he was repeated several times that his streams, content, and music were not intended for children and the general discomfort he felt with that being his audience and whether is was a persona or not it was still something that was repeated on streams. Or even just the type of content that was put out a good portion of it just was not suitable for younger children!! And im sure this lady probably just sees her child watching someone play Minecraft and just vaguely pays attention when her child is listening to a song by her favorite YouTuber because it's a kids game what could possibly be going on but!! You need to pay attention! If not to the controversy he's a part of just to the basic fucking lyrics to songs like sex sells or anything else with very clear explicit content either in his music or on his YouTube channel!!!

There are child friendly Minecraft YouTubers for your children to watch!!!! There are fully better options all over the place from people with genuine creative storylines to random mindless bullshit there are better things for your child to be watching and listening to!!!

Sorry English is not my first language and I don't often formally analyze songs (and never in English).

You may notice several parts have "similar songs" and that is in part because what I do most with songs is make playlists with songs that are similar and discover new music.

Musically it's really fun. The singing is a bit rambly like a crywank song (especially the bridge) and the rest reminds me of James Marriott's music. The drums sound cool (like always). Also the el-guitar, the el-guitar sounds pretty cool (it is that right?).

This is the title. I really do like this actually. I can relate this to anytime anyone has ghosted me or been unavailable for calls or I've been lonely (then directed at anyone). Also "you can call me what you like" as a thing is funny for me because I really enjoy a lot of my nicknames, and being called something different than your name can often make you feel connected to people, at least for me. One example could be from that one film "get in loser we're going shopping", that probably made that friend who was called "loser" feel good and like they were on good terms, yk?

No cause paranoia can be so real sometimes. Fuck paranoia. I don't have a big paranoia problem, but when I have many issues piling it does occur yk. Also, "you're gonna kill me" can mean emotional death too if you want, and that's pretty applicable to a lot of stuff (school, politics, friends, etc etc).

Theme/subject/motive/motif/topic:

The song is mainly about insecurity in a relationship. It also talks about paranoia, cheating, "[her] kissing the skin under [his] lips" - which I don't really understand (like is that a thing? what does the average person think about that?).

It reminds me of Mr. Brightside, because of the way the jealousy is written. The description of what she's doing (kissing people). Also Wallow's Drunk on Halloween, with the wondering if a partner is thinking about other people. I'm sure there are hundreds of songs about these topics. I should mention tfb's Legit Tatto Gun because according to Genius the song might be making a reference to it. I'm also reminded of tfb's Lipstick Covered Magnet because of the desperation and like kinda "anything is ok" mentality (though I think that one is more about abuse in relationships, idk).

Things I don't personally enjoy/understand (personally):

I've had too many arguments over having critisisms of things that aren't necesserily flaws, but mostly personal preference and therefore I'm just disclaiming that this is my opinions and thoughts and questions. This is me relating this song to my own life, goals, insecurities and how much I'll listen to or enjoy it.

Basically, if you have any thoughts on any of this that aren't just "let people enjoy things" or "not everyone is like you" my ears are open, I like talking about music. (can you tell I've been hurt before lol).

I was surprised to hear christian lyrics ("the feel of grace of God goes you"). I'm an atheist, and even as a person living in a majority (protestant) christian country I do not understand the meaning really. I checked genius, but I'm still confused (anyone is invited to tell me what he's talking about btw).

One thing this song does is use the whole "I hope I'm the only one she'll see tonight" which to me seems overdone, but probably mostly because I'm (non-amorous) aromantic. The line kinda makes it difficult to relate to non-romantic contexts or non-interpersonal stuff. Also it makes it difficult to relate it to a polyamorous context, not that that's something I do especially often (though it can be fun).

Hello I have not posted on here yet and I’m very sad this has to be my first post but I am a small streamer on Twitch, and recently something happened that has mad me angry and after figuring out more I have found it’s worse then I had thought it to be.

One of my gods was muted now that wouldn’t have been a problem if in my twitch overview of my gods it said I had no copy right claims, nor would it tell me what songs/creator was copy right.

When my friend who is also one of my mods looked into this he saw no reason for these to have been muted and said it was blatant favotism as other streamer larger than me use these lovely creators music such as Sherbertquake56, Ranboo, Philza, Karl jacobs, and Tubbo.

When I did further digging I found only parts of certain songs were muted and songs by various of these creator the ones I found have been Cg5, Diverakat, and Lovejoy.

If you want any proof to this I can provide that, but in my opinion this sounds like blatant favoritism and is a problem that should be fixed if you have experience in this and/or any ideas of what I should do please say so and also please repost this make it so twitch can’t deny this mistake any way if you made it this far through this Thank you and I am very sorry this had to be my first post here on tumblr.

🎵- kyuu: (obv since he's based off of me he'll have my music taste) actually dont know music genres very well- but i listen to songs like Primadonna, The Cult of Dionysus, Oh Ana, 6up 5oh Cop-out, Boy Division. He honestly just listens to whatever he thinks is nice- but really enjoys rock style music thats pretty energetic w/ the singing being almost like shouting? not quite but almost there. (btw go listen to Will Wood- i love his songs to death, oh also the Hades soundtrack. that shit slaps) tho as much as i love those songs, i would honestly associate kyuu with Cicada Days by Will Wood, its a slower begining, basically all acoustic, and it's fairly sad. Though- towards the end it picks up into the entire band going at it and Will singing his heart out.

yuu: oh lord theyre a Marina fan all the way, they know all the lyrics. all of them. theyre also a really big Abba fan! anything with those vibes of music they'll enjoy (also a big Lovejoy fan). they also really like Rio Romeo (i haven't listened to much but Butch 4 Butch and Inarticulation is godly) yuu is fairly upbeat most of the time, and their music tastes reflect that- so the songs id associate with yuu the most is Loretta by Ginger Root, and Fly Me to the Moon but the Bayonetta vers of the song lmao.

🍀- kyuu: he doesn't really want to believe in luck but he really is unlucky (but like in kinda comedic ways) doing a board game? he will draw every single worst card or roll so horribly that he always loses- though he does his get his streaks of luck, maybe getting smth rare in a game or guessing the answer to a question he doesn't know and gets it right. all n all- as much as he doesn't wanna believe in luck, his luck sure makes him believe wwww

yuu: yuu just doesn't want to. theyve been through so much and to chalk it up to bad luck doesn't feel good yk? they'll joke about luck and all but they really just don't believe in it.

1. The Fall, for the shouty part, I've got a cinematic scene happening in my head during it.

2. You'll Understand When You're Older for the guitar at the end that gets lower and lower until it sounds like distortion.

3. Perfume. I would love to belt the lyrics "I can still smell her perfume! Did it. Rub off. On youu?" at a Lovejoy concert.

And I don't know about the rest.

1. Again I said in one of the last few asks that "The Fall" reminds me of the penultimate episode of a series finale (I'm literally thinking of Breaking Bad here btw😭) like it fucking BLINDSIDED ME that they put such a heavy song right near the end and I guess you can see the revamped IAFIAP as the resolution but its also like is there really resolution to this??? Brilliant fucking song and I just love how it's an entire narrative journey

2. THANK YOU FOR BRINGING UP THE GUITAR IN YOU'LL UNDERSTAND WHEN YOU'RE OLDER!!! Surprisingly I feel like the lead guitar in PB is so underrated which doesnt make sense??? 😭 Joe is BRILLIANT. I also feel Wilbur's vocals really shine in this one - they're so smooth here

3. Perfume is so well done. The opening genuinely gets me SO pumped I can imagine that opening riff and the entire crowd going fucking INSANE
