Legacy feminization blog: Seattle Jasmine

Do you remember her? She used to be a prolific feminization caption uploader here on Tumblr. This was back in the time Tumblr had pr0n content in abundance and arguably, when the site was in its heyday. Many blogs like hers got taken down around the late 2010s and based on the blog’s name, it was struck down in 2017, which I believe is when the site started placing content restrictions.

In retrospect, the content wasn’t appealing to me due to a heavy emphasis on forced sissy feminization. In fact, most feminization blogs at the time heavily catered to sissies and others at the BDSM community. I was more into gender swapping and dress-up feminization (without the chastity and torture, of course). Even before I figured out I was trans, I always disliked being called a “sissy”, “f@ggit”, or any of those words.

Despite all of that, there were a few captions that I did like from her and I’ll be honest: Out of all the feminization blogs that existed during that time period, she was one of the better ones. Pairing: Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw x OC

Synopsis: Coming up on his mid-thirties, Rooster feels like he should be married by now. But with every woman he dates, the simplest thing can turn him away. So when Phoenix’s picture-perfect cousin comes crashing back into her life as a runaway bride, he thinks it must be fate.

a/n: new series? idk i may or may not make this a series or just do a couple of parts but Phoenix is my fave character so i had to make something with her involved :) also, yes, this first scene is almost identical to the first scene of Friends haha (also before anyone asks, this will not be a love triangle between Phoenix, Rooster, and the OC)

It’d been a long day at the beach with multiple games of dogfight football and Penny had been gracious enough to open the doors to The Hard Deck a couple of hours early for Maverick and his squadron to wind down. 

Coyote and Fritz were aimlessly throwing darts at the dartboard while Payback and Hangman played against Bob and Fanboy in a casual game of pool. Rooster sat on top of the bar, locked in a conversation with Halo and Phoenix with Penny occasionally adding her two cents in. Yale, Harvard and Omaha were long gone, opting to head back to the their places to shower and take a well-deserved nap on their day off.

Rooster’s beginning to envy them the further he gets into his conversation with Phoenix and Halo.

“That is the stupidest reason to ghost someone,” Phoenix scoffs, rolling her eyes when Rooster looks at her incredulously.

Phoenix had asked him about the woman he’d been seeing the past couple of weeks, forcing him to begrudgingly admit that he’d ghosted her just a few of days prior. He wasn’t proud of it, but in his defense, he had a good reason.

Or so he thought.

“I think it’s perfectly reasonable, thank you very much,” Rooster defends.

“Ghosting a girl just because she thought Air Force pilots and Navy pilots were the same thing is not reasonable,” Halo chides.

“Yes, it is,” the rest of the guys chorus from their respective spots.

Rooster tips his bottle to all of them in thanks.

“Bradshaw, this is, like, the third girl in the past two months,” she says and Rooster can tell she’s trying her hardest to hold back a judgy tone. “For a man who wants to get married so badly, you sure are picky.”

“Nothin’ wrong with bein’ a little picky, Phoenix,” he says, coming up from behind Phoenix and tossing his arm around her shoulder. He points his beer bottle at Rooster. “‘Specially when you got options like ol’ Rooster here.”

Rooster has to resist the urge to cringe at Hangman’s choice of words. Sure, he was trying to defend him in his own slightly twisted way, but it still didn’t make him feel any less…sleazy.

“You’re a sleaze,” Phoenix responds, nudging his arm off her shoulder.

“Need me to ring it?” Penny asks, gesturing to the bell while eying Hangman threateningly.

Phoenix smiles gratefully but shakes her head, turning back to Rooster. “All I’m trying to say is you’re never gonna find ‘the one’ if you keep dropping girls the second they do or say something weird,” she says. “What about Kristen? She’s cute and you even said you could see it going somewhere.”

He had said that. In retrospect, Kristen was a good choice for him. She was a nurse on a base, so she was incredibly understanding of his demanding and somewhat unpredictable job. She never pressed him when he would shut down at the mention of his parents and as douchebag-y as it sounded, it didn’t hurt that she was good in bed.

They had been on a handful of dates a few months prior and things were going well. He didn’t exactly have a good reason why he never asked her out again after that

Rooster just shrugs. “I don’t know, Nat,” he says truthfully.

“Y’know, Phoenix, if you’re such an expert on relationships maybe you should find Rooster a wife,” Hangman teases.

Before Rooster or Phoenix is able to come up with a retort, Maverick’s voice cuts them off.

“Uh, Phoenix? There’s a woman here looking for you.”

The confusion in Maverick’s tone has Rooster and everyone else’s interest peaked as they all turn to the entrance of The Hard Deck. Maverick beckons the stranger further into the bar and into everyone’s line of sight. Rooster can practically hear everyone’s jaw drop, his included.

This was probably the most stunning woman Rooster’s ever laid his eyes on and based off the expressions of everyone behind him, the sentiment was shared. Her hair was done up in a complicated looking updo, the stray pieces coming free that would’ve looked messy on anyone else only helped frame her sharp features. Rooster could only assume she had makeup on from the way the color on her eyelids made her eyes pop, though he’d never be able to tell without it due to how flawless her skin looked. The only flaws Rooster could make out were the slight mascara tracks beneath her waterline and the small pout that adorned her perfectly glossed lips.

The real kicker was her attire. She would’ve already stood out with her hair and makeup, but the wedding dress sealed the deal for sure. The silky white dress fit her like a dream and looked way outside of any of their price ranges, which made the dirt that laced the bottom of the gown seem infinitely more comical. The white heels she held in her left hand looked equally as expensive as the dress, but not nearly as expensive as the diamond that adorned her ring finger.

Everyone turned to look at Phoenix in shock, like she’s magically poofed this woman out of thin air at Hangman’s request.

“Damn, you work fast,” Halo mumbles.

Fave Sprites in each AA Game: AAI1

(Spoilers for Ace Attorney Investigations 1)

So, this game confuses me. On the one hand, I really enjoy the new gameplay format and third-person movement. It also has some of my favorite character designs. But on the other hand, this is the ugliest Ace Attorney game in the whole series. It's also the weakest in terms of actual plot and cases. And I want you all to know that I have never disliked playing an Ace Attorney case (I enjoy 2-3, 4-3, 6-4, etc) but this is the only Ace Attorney game I would consider bad. First of all, I hate the art style they went for. It's a sort of anime-y style that works well for some characters, but then you have Ernest Amano and Zinc Le Blanc. Well, whatever, we're not here to talk about the negatives (I'll leave that for another time) so let's get into the animations I do enjoy.

Animation 1:

Kay Faraday. Mhmmm.

As a new character, I kind of don't love her inclusion (I personally think that having Ema be the main assistant would have made much more sense and added a better character dynamic).

But design-wise? She rocks. I love her scarf, and her hair, and her bag, etc. I also really appreciate the new "tiny" sprites that showcase larger actions with the whole character's design being shown. They're cute and chibi and great.

This animation in particular is very punchy (pun intended), and it creates a nice loop. I like how she bounces from side to side before stopping to punch with some nice smears on her jabs.

Final verdict: Kay's writing may not be my cup of tea, but I love how energetic and fun her animations are.

Animation 2:

Another "tiny" sprite and another animation that utilizes smear to showcase a fast action. I think that the reason why smears are so common in this game is because they make the whole animation much easier to read on such a small screen and sprite.

Well, the reason why I chose this animation isn't really thanks to the animation quality, but more so just how fucking cool it is. It's just cool to see Lang calmly catch Franziska's whip seconds before it hits him.

As much as I love Franziska, sometimes it's great to see someone stand up to her while she's acting like a spoiled child.

Animation 3:

We have arrived at my favourite character in AAI; Callisto Yew. She's so great. I love her fairly simplistic design, her carefree attitude towards Edgeworth's dramatic personality, etc. Her laughs are always animated wonderfully. Actually let's move on to the next animation and I'll discuss her a bit more there.

Animation 4:

So, animations 3 and 4 are fairly similar from a conceptual level; it is just Callisto laughing. But they're so amazing because you can almost feel and hear her laughter. In the first one she's cackling loudly and trying to stop herself. In the second animation she's completely out of breath and still letting out a few laughs. Overall her animations are sincere and really charming.

Idk if she's an assassin super spy or whatnot. If she kills me don't blame her: she caught ME slipping.

Animation 5:

I'm SORRY. I'm WEAK and I couldn't HELP IT. I had to put Ema on here and how could I NOT choose the iconic DS sprite (I mean, that's definitely a Nintendo DS, right?). This sprite has a special spot in my heart because my childhood DS, that i still use, is the exact same shade of pink <3

Also I love the small detail of the DS screen being reflected on her glasses, causing that to be one of the few animated things in the whole sprite (the other being her arms and fingers).

Honestly, as much as I dislike most of AAI's art design, the highs are VERY high, and I love Callisto and Ema.

Anyways, next time I'll do AAI2, which I really love a LOT. It's gonna be harder to find animations online, because the website I use only has sprite sheets. If you guys know a good website with a lot of AAI2's animations I'd really appreciate it if you'd let me know.

Animation was beautiful! The character designs were bright and fun, and definitely reflected Sony's prefer stylization of features. The only design that was a bit off-putting for me was the python's. Something about his head and face through me off, but his body, pattern, and colors were wonderful. Especially when the musical number started and the animation style changed, and his body pattern now glowed a bright green. Loved it.

One of my favorite quirks to see in animation are switches between styles, 3d to 2d, etc. And for most of the musical numbers, the animation would change to whimsical, jazzy 2d that is purposely more abstract and dreamy.

I wanna doodle Vivo, Andres, and Marta so baaaad.

The story was not what I expected when I first started it and my jaw dropped when I noticed the tone switch early on in the movie. They got me attached to a such a lovely, lovable character, just to rip him away. Story was very sweet and heartwarming, as well as heart wrenching, with a satisfying ending to make up for tearing up your heart several times through.

PS. Fave part was that we do find out why Gabi is so invested in Vivo's quest. At first, I thought she was just sympathizing because both her and Vivo lost someone dear, mixed with wanting to avoid the Sand Dollars and just being very eccentric. You eventually find out she has a deeper reason and it had me sobbing, ugly crying. Cause it hit home for me.

Your Top 10 fave Choices books?

That is something we have in common, high curiosity, lol...

I have not read Choices books since September 2021, so I am not up to speed on the new releases...

But from the ones that I have read...

The Royal Romance & Royal Heir Series (Although the ending of the series absolutely pissed me off... It was rushed to me and they could have easily given it an extra book or given it a small add-on like it has for other books. I think I have read these a minimum of five times... Restarted to play with other LI since I always choose Liam.

The Nanny Affair Series (Although book 2 turned me off, so I stopped reading it. I have made up my mind to complete it before the third book releases in June -- anticipated...)

Open Heart Series (I thoroughly enjoyed this series. One of my favorite shows was House. Personally, I was upset at the change of direction. Death is a part of the life cycle. I loved Kyra Santana as a character, as I am sure many others did. Her death was anticipated and pretty much written... Next thing you know, Danny dies... I get that Cancer is a very sensitive subject to write about, and so is death for that matter... But Danny's life was no less important. I don't know if it was because she was a highly liked "black" character, but the storyline was theirs to write as they saw fit... All lives matter, so if you want to write the death of a character, do so! Also, I don't like the way it ended either... I love that we could finally choose the LI between Ethan, Bryce, and Jackie... but it should have been left up to all of the persons she was allowed to romance the entire series. It could have given more time to explore a relationship with your final choice... But I get it, writers get tired or lose focus... Especially if writing for multiple fics... Interests change!)

Bloodbound I absolutely loved this series and the add-on mini books... (Again, I was disappointed with the ending... It gave two options... She could relinquish Reya's powers or keep them... WHAT CAME NEXT ??? I spent all of that time and freaking diamonds to get all of the fragments, just to put a picture together that wasn't going to lead anywhere! Not cool Pixelberry !!! It should rank number one for me because it gave me the option to romance anyone and everyone! Really needed another book to explore Amy's new life!)

Hot Coutoure It was one of the first VIP books that I read. I enjoyed Fashion and Photography... I truly loved romancing Marco !!!!! It was my first slow burn book by PB... and I had to wait until the end for any serious relationship vibes... But I did love how he helped her to realize her dream... So that's why it ranked high for me. It showed that although you pursue one dream, it can change into something much better. Also, it gave a real-life view... We fail many many many times, but that doesn't mean that you can't achieve your goals... It just means that you haven't figured out the right approach just yet...)

 The Freshman Series I liked this because it gave me a chance at a full college experience although fictional and virtual, lol... I became a mother in college, so my experience was much different. It showed that relationships are a tricky thing, and aren't always fated to be forever... I think that I actually read The High School Story series first. It was cute, but I am much older and prefer more advanced behaviors from my characters... Just keeping it real!)

Ride or Die It took me a while to finish this... I liked the whole "good girl gone bad" vibe... But it just didn't flow for me... She fell for a guy, but then ended up falling for the newcomer... I rushed through the ending once I finally picked it back up... So, meh... probably should have rated it lower, but I managed to find fantastic fanfic writers, so it made me like the book more...

The Baby Bump I liked this series... again because it was career-focused and although it began with unwed pregnancy, I was cool with that. It is a very realistic thing that happens to women... I think where I lost interest is when it involved Cliff's father... I had been there and done that with TNA's Mason, Sr... And at the rate of diamonds that I was spending, it became shelved because the romance was lacking for what I was paying... Pimping ain't easy, but I want my dollars worth, lol... I may actually go back to complete the series... Just have lost interest in the app... 

9. A Very Scandalous Proposal... I really liked the book... I don't know if it was because Simon was pretending to be an average Joe walking about the tour, or if it was how hard the MC worked to get her story. She was very resourceful... and I was intrigued by the partnership with benefits... He was very attracted to her, but never really crossed a line... I think I also liked the fact that no one really knew who he was because he was reclusive... I am sort of that way... I don't necessarily desire to be known, but it is nice to get to know genuine people.

10. Veil of Secrets mainly because I was clueless as to who was doing the murders and kidnapping... I can't really explain this one... I think it was just my first problem-solving book read by PB.

Saved me money and time... although I would have picked differently and all option plays weren't always available.

Wakana Spring Live ～magic moment～ 2021 Review

Note: I FINALLY got my package. Now that I watched the full live in HD, I thought I would share m thoughts and a little present below the cut ^_^ As always, I would like to encourage everyone to SUPPORT Wakana by BUYING her Blu-ray!!! Her sales numbers aren’t the greatest which is a huge shame since this is a solid release.

Overall thoughts: I got the Limited Edition of course since I couldn’t resist the pretty sleeve packaging, the bonus documentary (so insightful) and the photobook (scans coming up soon). It is quite pricey but totally worth the money, especially if you are among those fans who liked “Magic Moment” much more than Wakana’s debut album. The release comes with a gorgeous clearfile as tokuten so be sure to get it! Try going for the Regular Edition if you want to save money. As for the live itself, it was a pleasure to watch and I can see myself rewatching it a lot (skipping a few songs though :P). Wakana’s voice coaching lessons are definitely starting to pay off. She has so much stamina these days. Can you believe that this was her SECOND live performance of the day? Her vocals were solid, even during her high-demand power ballads. At rarely any point did she sound overly-screechy to my ears, there were certain sections that didn’t sound 100% smooth but those parts definitely didn’t take away from my  overall enjoyment. On a side note, this live was a feast for the eyes, Wakana looked absolutely beautiful in her white dress and I even liked her encore outfit even though it was a little “out there” XD During the more up-beat songs, her smile literally lit up the entire hall. Seeing her have so much fun on stage is healing. I feel like they may have gone a little overboard on the blurry filters from time to time but I guess that was on purpose. 

1.揺れる春: 6/10. This is obviously the perfect cute intro for a Spring Lives so I understand why Wakana put it here but I would have much preferred “breathing” as a grand entrance. Still so sad that this is the only song from the “magic moment” album that didn’t make it onto the setlist of this live. I know, we already got an official audio recording but I would have loved some video footage to accompany it :P Anyways, back to Yureru Haru. I haven’t really warmed up to the song yet. It’s not bad and I honestly love the verses since they are super precious and feel kinda nostalgic but the chorus doesn’t stand out imo. Also, her singing style during parts of the chorus isn’t my favourite and not overly flattering. 2.where: 4/10. Oh no!! I was hoping Wakana would be singing the “ohhhohhhs”. She could have easily done it during the start and middle part of the song since it wasn’t overlapping with her other vocals. This seems so rushed? Is it just me? I haven’t listened to the studio version in a while but I know that I quite enjoyed that and it definitely didn’t make me feel as fidgety as this. Don’t know what it is exactly but it keeps me from getting into the song. I guess this is the biggest disappointment for me because I wanted to like it. 3.君だけのステージ: 4/10. I will admit it, this is not my favourite song. It’s just way too long :P But it is a very good and energetic performance, really no complaints when it comes to Wakana. But experiencing it live at the venue would have made it so much better for me. Oh well, nothing that can be done about it. The scat part at the end was a pleasant surprise. Would have loved to hear more of that. 4.442: 100/10. Honestly a masterpiece. One of Wakana’s best solo songs up-to-date and so very perfect to show off her vocals. Hearing it live like this with a band arrangement is a revelation. I love the wailing in the beginning and all the strength she conveys throughout the rest of the song. 5.ひらり ひらり: 3/10. Another song I haven’t warmed up to yet. No real thoughts. It’s one of those songs that’s just very forgettable, not bad per se but there is just nothing at all that attracts me to it. :-( As you can tell, I wasn’t entirely happy with some of the setlist choices. Wakana obviously wanted to include all the album songs but some of them are just not my cup of tea T_T 6.夕焼け: 6/10. This is one of the pieces that gets better every time I listen to it. And the latter half of the song is generally much nicer. I am always surprised by how much I actually like it when it’s over :P 7.アキノサクラ Acoustic ver.: 7/10. I am distracted by that harmonica sound-alike thingy Satoshi Takebe is playing XD Still, I have come to really like this song last winter so it is always appreciated, especially the acoustic version. Wakana is struggling a bit during the ending but nothing too bad. 8.myself: 100/10. Utter perfection. So much better than the studio version. And I am not saying this because I disliked the studio version, quite the contrary actually, I LOVED it but these two versions are honestly miles apart. Wakana’s live performance feels so much more raw and emotional. And her vocals in this are pretty much flawless, I can’t even begin to describe how this song makes me feel. A perfect ballad for Wakana. 9.メロディー (Cover): 8/10. My first reaction was boring. But by the third listen I was totally smitten and now it’s among my faves from this live. Be sure to give it a few tries, it really grows on you. I can tell why Takebe would choose this for Wakana. 10.元気を出して (Cover): 8/10. Ahhhhh, so freaking cute and old-school. Nothing beats a nostalgic, fluffy pop song from the 80s. I am here for this content. The “lalalas” at the end are LOVE. 11.オレンジ: 6/10. I like the song but I have to be in the mood for it. And here we have that fake harmonica thingy again. I enjoy the sound of a harmonica about as much as the sound of an accordion (which means not at all :P) but it fits the vibe of the song so I am okay with it. The bridge is usually my favourite part but Wakana’s delivery wasn’t as smooth as I would have liked. It was nice to have this right after “Genki wo Dashite” because both are encouraging pick-me-ups. 12.恋はいつも: 10/10. One day I wanna hear her sing the “baby, baby” part!! Please! Another absolutely highlight, you all know that I ADORE  this song, I could listen to this FOREVER. It’s such a shame the corona guidelines do not allow the audience to sing along because the ending is so much more powerful if everyone is actually singing instead of just clapping. 13.Happy Hello Day: 8/10. Such a feel-good piece. Initially I didn’t like it much but seeing it performed with an audience during her Music Party and now here, has really made me fall in love with it. I have mentioned it before in my initial reaction to the YouTube leak but I wish she would have sung some lalalas at the end just as she did during her Music Party. 14.magic moment: 9/10. I KNEW I would love this song more once I got to hear it live. I still feel like the composition is a bit choppy and thus not as flowy as I would have liked from a power ballad like this but OMG, Wakana’s live performance is EVERYTHING. Blown away by her powerful vocals, she OWNS this song 15.時を越える夜に: 10/10. Two power ballads back to back. What more could I ask for? I know not many people liked Wakana’s solo debut but I personally always thought it was perfect for her. I consider this to be one of her best songs. Say what you will about Takebe but he certainly knows how to make Wakana shine, at least in my opinion. And the song has only gotten better with every live performance. Although I think I preferred the version from her Voice Tour. So very glad we got at least one track from Wakana’s first album. The original setlist actually included Kinmokusei and Kioku no Hito which are two of my faves (they were later exchanged with the two covers). 16.春を待つ (Kalafina Cover): 8/10. Despite this being one of Keiko’s favourite Kala-songs I never could bring myself to really appreciate it. It’s just an okay song for me. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy it quite a bit but I don’t go out of my way to listen to it. However, I very much loved Wakana’s cover though, she does a good job singing everyone’s lines and since the original doesn’t have any harmonies her solo performance doesn’t feel too lacking. 17.あとひとつ: 10/10. Always a treat. Can’t believe this STILL hasn’t gotten an official release :P  But I understand Wakana’s reasoning, she wants to keep this song a unique live experience and it really is. I can’t help but tear up whenever she is singing this.

Documentary: I haven’t watched all of it yet but OMG, this is so cool. The first 20 minutes are dedicated to rehearsals. I love seeing Wakana like this, just being her cute dorky self. But poor baby, it was hard seeing her this exhausted after the big studio rehearsal (that’s what the gif is from - being her overdramatic self, she literally dropped dead to the floor). The second half of the documentary is Wakana talking about the production of the live and the different songs of the setlist.

Sunakawa x Reader Double Date;

It was an ordinary day as far as Makoto was concerned. Takeo and Rinko invited him out for a day at the mall to check out the new bubble tea shop that opened up. To his knowledge, it’d just be another day of him third-wheeling his two friends while they struggled to interact with each other without blushing like idiots.

Quite obviously it came as a shock that when he met with Rinko and Takeo, they all as a group went to meet up with you.

Sunakawa’s heart dropped to his stomach when he saw you waving them over. You wore a quite revealing ensemble, with denim shorts and a tie-up crop top. He understood it was summer, but couldn’t you have worn a bit less more? Were you trying to give him a heart attack? 

More importantly, why would Rinko and Takeo betray him like this?!

He looked to them, then back to you, then to them, then to you once more. Takeo just stood there, cheekily grinning from ear to ear, seemingly unaffected by his best friend’s death stare.

“Go on Suna, this is your shot!” he could almost hear him say.

“There’s no way.”

“Too late, Suna! There’s no going back now!”

As they argued telepathically, Suna spun around to leave but was immediately turned back around by Takeo, who proceeded to hold on to his shoulders and drag him towards you.

“Yo, [Name]-chan! Good to see you, you staying healthy?” he called out.

“Of course,” you answered, flexing your biceps. “Been drinking lots of milk for my bones! I’m hoping to grow a couple more inches this year, my brother’s been calling me a shorty.”

Takeo nodded enthusiastically. “Mmm good good, milk is a good source of calcium. You ready for some bubble tea? Maybe we could get some lunch and take pictures in a photo booth!”

“Sounds good, I’m pumped!”

You, Takeo, and Rinko thrust your fists in the air joyously as you set off to the mall. Sunakawa was significantly less thrilled.

You visited multiple shops with the group, and Takeo and Rinko always seemed to find a reason to run off without you. You had no idea why, but you didn’t mind all that much - although Suna seemed like he didn’t want to be around you.

He wouldn’t talk much and avoided looking at you, which made you wonder if maybe you had something embarrassing on your face. You stealthily tried to check your reflection in shop windows and mirrors to see if you had something stuck in your teeth, but you failed to find anything. You couldn’t readily do a more thorough search while also trying to entertain him.

Instead you fidgeted with your outfit and hair every chance you got, making sure bits weren’t popping out or that you didn’t look like a buffoon.

You didn’t let his attitude deter you though, you continued being a shining light with boundless energy.

When Suna was looking particularly sad, you tried to cheer him up by giving him a playful smack on the back.

He lurched forward and almost fell on his face from your sheer strength, but regained his composure as best he could while pretending you didn’t just smack his spine into his chest. You, dull as you were, didn’t notice and continued like normal.

“Suna-chan! You shouldn’t feel upset on a day like today, y’know? The sun is shining, you’re surrounded by good friends and tasty foods! It’s a happy day! Let’s have lots of fun, okay?”

He stared at the floor. “Uh... okay.”

“That’s the spirit!” you smiled. “Let’s go find the others so we can take selfies!”

“...Right.”

The four of you packed into the tiny booth, and between Takeo’s size and your... size, you were stuck into the cramped little space practically on top of each other.

You were wedged between the wall and Sunakawa, and Sunakawa was wedged between you and Takeo. Takeo not so subtly pushed him further into you, and Suna put a hand on your bare thighs to stabilise himself.

You didn’t care, but Suna’s face turned almost completely red once he noticed. He tried to push back against Takeo but he was given no quarter.

“Takeo, you’re too close—“

“Get ready for the photos everyone!” he called, ignoring Suna’s discomfort.

“Let’s do a cute one!” Rinko suggested.

You nodded and hung your arm around Suna’s shoulders, drawing him in even closer and pressing your cheeks together. “Ready!”

You, Rinko, and Takeo held up peace signs as the first picture went off. For the second picture you made silly faces, for the third Takeo accidentally kissed Rinko’s cheek, and the fourth was of you laughing at the two of them while they looked away bashfully.

You didn’t notice until after editing the photos and printing them out, that in every image Suna was looking at you and blushing uncontrollably.

Once you finally got out of the booth, he placed a hand to his chest in an attempt to calm the rapid beating. The experience was far too much for his heart - and, to be honest, his nether region - and he excused himself early to rush home to take care of it.

You felt a little disheartened and asked Rinko and Takeo if you’d made him uncomfortable or if he didn’t like you.

Takeo accidentally blurted out that Suna had a raging crush on you, but Rinko scolded him. You, having a brain akin to a koala’s, still didn’t get the picture until Rinko reluctantly clarified.

“Hold on, Suna-chan likes me?” you asked. “Like-like?”

Rinko nodded. “We tricked him into coming today so he could spend time with you.”

“Whoa...” you said, leaning back in your seat. “I had no idea.”

They laughed to themselves at your obtuseness. Then Takeo asked, “So? Do you like him?!”

You put a finger to your chin in thought. “I dunno... I’ve never thought about it. I should text him tonight!”

“NO NO NO!” they protested in unison. “He’ll know we told you!”

You eventually promised them that you wouldn’t tell him (but they didn’t see that your fingers were crossed beneath the table) and the three of you went your separate ways that night.

Later in the evening, Takeo heard his phone vibrate and saw he received a message from Suna. It simply read:

“I know you told her.”

Hinata! She is the prettiest of the girls and I want to kiss her little forehead I love her so much. I wish Kishimoto had developed her character beyond "shy girl in love with Naruto" but I have no expectations of that man and I can accept what little we got. There's a lot of depth to her if you are obsessed like me haha.

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave)

I think all of Team 8 (Hinata, Kiba and Shino) should be more appreciated, they are insane! People forget that they were the first team to draw blood (even before Gaara!) in the Chunin Exams and the first team to finish the Forest of Death (they only got delayed due to Gaara being a maniac). I think their dynamic is very interesting and they had a lot of potential, especially as foils to Team 7 and also because their powers really work well together. I wish they had some focus on Shippuden.

glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week)

I wouldnt say Iruka is obscure but for someone who is set up as main character in episode 1 he has very little screentime afterwards. Even then, every time he appears he reminds me why he's the only adult who I can respect in that show. He cares about Naruto so much and their relationship is so sweet, they really are father and son and maybe I cried like a little bitch when Naruto asked him to be his dad on the wedding.

Kakashi is the easy pick lol the OG pathetic shonen sensei. He's my second favorite character, he has a lot of layers but instead of becoming cooler the more you look at him he just gets sadder.

Obito is also my poor little meow meow. They are a sad and pathetic pair.

horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason)

Shikamaru. I don't hate him but he is Kishimoto's self insert for his anti-women shit and it gets really annoying sometimes. I like his smart but lazy persona but I think it would be really easy and entertaining to torture him by just being a Girl around him.

eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell)

THE THIRD HOKAGE. God I hate this man SO MUCH. I will never forgive him for abandoning baby naruto like his mother ON HER DYING BREATH asked him to take care of naruto and Hiruzen was like "yeah dw" and then left him ALONE his entire childhood. Also he was so fucking stupid and useless. He can rot in hell.

ESC 2021 Preshow: 08. France

Barbara Pravi - “Voilà”

Autoqualifier

France going from 3rd last on my ranking / likely last place in the finale to 8th place in the ranking / probably top 3 in the Grand Final. 😍 WHAT A GLOW-UP.

So, “Voilà” is epic, obviously. Yeah I will skip the theatrics, each and every one of you know this song and we all know it’s probably the best French entry in ages. 

Funnily enough, I didn’t care for “Voilà” when I first heard it lmfao. It felt similar to the song Patricia Kaas went to Eurovision with and while “Et s’il faillait le faire” has its fans, I was never one of them. Worse, the internet immediately resorted to refering to “Voilà” as a “masterpiece” which is probably the pretentious statement you can make about Eurovision songs. Guys, it’s an Edith Piaf-inspired tribute act. Calm the eff down. Still, even at this early a stage I was instantly charmed by Barbara’s introspection and pluck even if I didn’t care for the music at first. After all, Barbara was the mastermind behind jesc HITS “Bim bam toi” and “J’imagine” and if she wants to bring a song that puts HER SELF at the forefront, she’s perfectly entitled to do so. About fucking time. On top of that, I thought the ending was sublime, even in studio version. “Why can’t the entire song be like that”, I thought. And then, E:CVQD arrived and Barbara SERVED, OUTSOLD, SLAYED, etc every superlative under the sun. 

So remember when I aired my critique regarding Gjon? “Tout l’Univers” is an “Objectively Strong” composition in that it employs music theory to conjure up a song that sounds impressive on first listen. But behind that academic skill lies virtually nothing of interest. I cannot connect with it beyond a base level because what does it tell me about Gjon or his story? Technique without a heart or a soul is merely pretense. But I suppose it can sound sophisticated to someone who doesn’t know what “sophistication” is. 

Barbara, however. Her personality just SPRINGS FORWARD on an approachable level from the first note. “Voilà”s’s technical expertise and Barbara’s own perfomance talents carry this vibe, this SERVE of personality, through the full three minutes without ever getting boring or tedious and they leave me craving for another listen. ALL OF THESE ARE AMAZING TRAITS IN A EUROVISION SONG. And this is just from the studio version, the live stage show makes it even better. 

So yeah, homeboy’s got his work cut out for him because if this is his competition he’ll have to graft hard for his victory.

NF Corner -  C’est Vous Qui Décidez

In what would become a running theme amidst countries this year, France led the charge in a personal project called #OperationForget2020, in which every trace of last year would be subsequently memory-holed. To acheive this, they revived their NF, gave it a new name and pretended it was ~The First NF of Its Format~ (so basically doing what Lithuania did last year when they rebranded Atranka into PiN).

INCIDENTALLY, this would also wind up the best NF of the year, pretty much by default because France had the most to win. Even though Barbara was the obvious winner from the instant the songs were revealed, the French had some excellent back-up options in their arsenal. Let’s rummage through them shall we?

LMK - “Magique”

R&B Trap wench <3 “Magique” starts off pretty and cute for fifteen seconds, before whiplashing hard into kick-ass tropical house territory. Her Slovene spirit mothers Raiven and Lea Sirk are so proud of her <3 She definitely deserved much better than the result she got (being NQ with the audience O_O), but lol it’s France, they ain’t NEVER crowning a sexually confident sassy woman, let’s not kid ourselves. 

Céphaz - “On a mangé le soleil”

This Hat God had me at that title. “We have eaten the sun” 😍😍😍😍. More songs should adopt a fatalistic environmental angle by using consumption-related metaphors à la “we’ve devoured out planet :burp:, MOAR”, and then set this suuuuper cynical and depressing text to an upbeat and optimistic soundtrack <3 The “Hey ya” tease of it all. 😍

Amui - “Maeva”

So cheerful it turns a surly cretin such as myself into a blundering mass of uwu. It’s like a nillies Eurovision semi NQ’er suddenly wandered into the set, so derivative and repetitive and tacky but SO fun and happy-go-lucky <3 The entire premise of “Maeva” is basically like: “VISIT FRENCH POLYNESIA, WE ARE THE MOST HOSPITABLE PEOPLE ON THIS EARTH” <333 using this message in the middle of a worldwide viral pandemic <33333333 Normally fun-trash like this would be murdered at first sight by any jury, but whoops “Maeva” turned out a massive televote hit HEHEE 😛 and finished third in the televote despite being last or second last with the jury. Those Tahitian diasporia votes coming through <3

Adriamad - “Allélujah”

TACKY EUROTRASH <3 Lol when I think of it, did I like this NF because it was good or because it was so fun-trash. Anyway, this display of diversity would normally be on my shitlist but it’s honestly SO OTT in its ~People Of The World Of All Colours Are Equal~ message it circles back into funny. The eye gimmick, the hammy choreography, the obnoxious fusion of several cultures into a nondescript ethnotrash hodgepodge, the fucking LYRICS everything is so funny and so entertaining it’s giving me LIFE. 😍 I’d say it deserved better but “Allélujah” stranding in the demifinal (not a typo) is honestly a much, much more satisfying result <3

Predicted Journey - France

Barbara is going on that Mahmood trajectory, I see. Early fave who gets near unanimous critical acclaim, rules solely on top until the other contenders show up and is then put on the backburner because she’s an autoqualifier and therefore isn’t a part of the “who will qualify?” discussions. Then, the rehearsals will happen and everyone will remember “hey, that French chick we almost forgot about is actually REALLY good” allowing her to pick up momentum again, catapulting her into the top five. So it is written, such it shall be.

The question is... Can she win? 

The answer is: yeah, possibly? At this point we have three potential contenders: Gjon for Switzerland and Destiny for Malta are the main rivals and I’d say Barbara has one big advantage over Gjon and Destiny: She already has a great live performance to back up her potential winner status. In fact, Barbara is a fave to win because we know what she’s going to bring in Rotterdam.  Gjon and Destiny could theoretically still bomb if their staging is off (and both are getting theirs done by Sasha Jean-Baptiste, soooooo) and their contenderness is based on things such as hype and expectation. Barbara meanwhile already had her baptism by fire when she competed in E:CQVD, which she handily won.

The problem though is Gjon Muharremaj. For the average eurofan, France and Switzerland have similar entries and it will result in a tug-of-war between which of them has the better song. Either could win this televote bout, and whoever does could beat Malta.. .but that would require Malta to have a disappointing televote result and with each passing day this is starting to look less likely. (Jury results matter less because they’re probably the top 3).  Personally I don’t really have a preference between Barbara OR Destiny as a win for either would push Eurovision in a better direction (A Gjon win though... I am TERRIFIED that may result in a 2022 contest filled with Vincent Bueno’s and Vasils), but if these three are indeed the top three, Barbara’s position is the most secure although she’s probably also the least likely one to actually win. Pray that I’m wrong though and we can all meet at her flat in Montmartre for a covid-proof afterparty.

Waiting for You Rated: T 15/15 chapters 42k words They're in their third year at UA when, because of one wild New Year's Eve night, Katsuki is finally forced to deal with his feelings for Izuku. There's fights, arguments, parties, some cute KiriMina and MiriTama if I do say so myself. Not to mention the almost excessive amount of pining between Katsuki and Izuku. But they end up together in the end because of course they do!

“Guys, I found him.”

That’s when he sees Katsuki. Ethereal, standing overhead like an angel, and it’s only now that Izuku realizes how exhausted he is. His legs have started to burn, like they might give out beneath him.

How did he find him? He’s been so careful… Or has he?

Only a second passes before Katsuki pulls him up by the shoulders, swiftly hooking an arm under his knees and bringing his head to his chest.

“Yeah, we’ll meet you there.” He must be talking over some kind of radio. Izuku lifts his head to look at him, trying to fight back the exhaustion, his eyes threatening to slam shut.

“Kacchan?”

Katsuki doesn’t look at him. Instead, he keeps his eyes straight ahead as he sprints through the crowd, down the street.

“You fucking idiot,” he mutters, and Izuku’s not sure if he’s talking to him or himself, but he doesn’t have time to figure it out as he soon succumbs to sleep.

“Good, you’re awake.”

Izuku rubs his eyes, sniffling as he sits up from his place on a bed with a gaudy floral print. He quickly surveys the dimly lit room, willing himself to keep up his guard. They seem to be in an old lady’s bedroom, as it’s decorated floor to ceiling with flower patterns and framed photos of a not entirely unfamiliar family…

“Where are we?”

Katsuki leans against the large antique-looking vanity across from him, still in his hero uniform but without his mask. He looks down.

“Kacchan, where are we?” Izuku demands this time.

“My grandmother’s apartment -”

“Kacchan!” Izuku scolds, swinging his legs over the side of the bed. He cringes at the dirt left behind by his clothes and shoes. When he stands, he’s able to convince himself the pain in his legs isn’t so bad anymore. “This is exactly why I -”

“Yeah, I’m fully aware of the stupid lies you’ve convinced yourself of, and it’s all bullshit.”

Izuku rolls his eyes. Where is his mask? He has to get out of here.

“But before you get your fucking panties in a bunch, no one lives here. I offered to use this place because she moved to the country.”

Izuku sighs. Well, at least they’re not putting anyone in danger. He spots his mask on the dresser and picks it up before heading to the door.

“Deku.” Katsuki’s voice is low, making him stop in his tracks. “This is over. Whatever stupid plan you have. Give it up.” He pauses. “What were you thinking? Doing this alone? Was all that talk about being a team just bullshit to you?”

Izuku shakes his head. “This isn’t about you. I can’t - can’t put anyone in harm’s way -”

“And what about you, huh?” He stands.

Izuku squints. “What does it matter to you?”

“What the fuck does that mean, Deku?” Katsuki slams his fist against the wall next to him, then turns his head away. “You think I - You think we don’t care about you, you moron? You’re not alone. You never have been.”

“Well, that’s nice of you to say, I guess, but you guys don’t understand what’s going on. This is my responsibility and mine alone.” He reaches for the doorknob, but Katsuki’s there in seconds, his hand against the door, holding it shut.

“That’s bullshit, and you know it.”

There’s always the window. It looks big enough anyway.

“Don’t even think about it.” Katsuki stares him down, his nostrils flared, but Izuku’s already gearing up full cowling and shooting himself toward the other exit.

“Dammit!” Katsuki catches his foot and slams him down onto an old knit rug. He pins down Izuku’s shoulders with his forearm. “You really are a fucking moron, you know that? You think I’m gonna fucking let you go after all this? You think you’re gonna get away that easily?”

The look in his eye - Izuku hadn’t noticed before. There’s anger, yes, but also desperation, and sadness, and something Izuku can’t quite name, but it hurts, bad.

Izuku knew, on some level, that if he saw Kacchan again, he wouldn’t be able to keep it up anymore, he wouldn’t be able to be strong enough to keep going on this path.

“You think I’ve been spending all this time searching for you every damn day and night just for fun?”

Izuku can’t help it, his eyes start to water, and oh, he hasn’t cried in so long. The feeling is almost unfamiliar.

“You think that you aren’t…”

Katsuki’s face starts to warp, his nose scrunches up, his eyes cloudy, and Izuku realizes that he’s about to cry. He’s never seen him cry before. Except for maybe when they were very young, but not since then.

His voice is barely a whisper. “That you aren’t the most important person in my life? What would I do -” he tries to hold back a sob. “- if something happened to you?”

Izuku’s tears come freely now, sliding down his ears and neck. Katsuki isn’t really holding him down anymore, just staring at him with a look that, if Izuku didn’t know any better, he would have said was disgust.

“I… I didn’t know you felt that way. I thought -” Izuku tries to steady his breathing so he can speak properly. “I wanted to prove I was strong enough. I wanted to prove that I could be the hero that everyone needs me to be -”

“You don’t have to prove shit! Not to me. Not to anyone.” He sits up, offering Izuku his hand. He takes it and sits next to him. There's a long silence while Izuku dries his tears (unlike Katsuki, who seemed to have stopped crying as soon as he started).

“We have a plan, okay? Please. Just - stay.” He looks at him, again with that sad, desperate expression. How can Izuku say no? And besides, he’s tired. He’s, like, really tired.

He nods, starting to feel his eyes well up again as he makes up his mind. “Okay.”

“Good.” Relief washes over Katsuki’s features, his eyebrows softening, his eyes half-closed, a small smile forming on his lips. He stands, helping Izuku up. “Ah, dammit, c’mere.” Katsuki pulls him in for a hug as Izuku sobs into his chest, his arms tight around Katsuki.

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I -”

“Shh, shh.” Katsuki pats the back of his head. “You’re fine. You look like shit, but you’re fine.”

Izuku leans back to take a good look at him. He missed him a lot.

“Really. Have you looked in a mirror lately? You need a shower. There's one down the hall.”

“Okay, Kacchan.” Izuku starts toward the bathroom.

“You reek, too.”

“I’m going!”

And for the first time in what feels like forever, Izuku feels himself smile again.

Thinking journal for season 12 Prime Empire 😎😎😎 (2/2)

Here we go with the next part! I really hope we get some major big plot twist at some point, because it's all really cool but I need something to really change from good to GREAT

For now, let's focus on the next episodes!

It's the 17th of April and here we go!

GENERAL

I feel like there's little time to really pull up something, I don't know. Like, what plot twist could happen now that there just half season left with only Unagami/Dyer's identity and maybe Scott's past as mysteries? There's little space for more plotlines, that's what I think

Overall fighting scenes, character designs and game backgrounds are AWESOME!!

Let's see how it goes, maybe I'll be surprised. Wouldn't be weird for Ninjago to pull a bomb last episode 😅

ONE STEP FORWARD, TWO STEPS BACK

ZANE AND PIXAL FINALLY!!! IT'S DETECTIVE TIME!!! 😎

Okay, so there is a photo, and there is a friend. As I thought, Dyer might not be Unagami at all, I feel like there's a lot of backstory coming along. I wonder if Scott has a part in this... WHERE IS SCOTT 💙

Ah, of course Kai would spend his credits on an avatar, I should've known, my flame babe can be such a dummie sometimes I mean why would you even do such a thing as buying an avat-

NEVER MIND I LOVE IT 😍😍🔥🔥 I thought him being blonde was going to bother me, I actually kinda like the change. Still prefer my baby brunette, but it's really cool as well. The best of this season are definitely the characters designs

Was that "let's fight an ogre mission" a hint for next season? I wouldn't be weird, but it's been a while since I've seen forshadowing for new season in this show

HECK YEAH THE DANCING EPISODE!!! I was waiting for this, Jaya is so cute while they are on the dancefloor 😍 They have chemistry 😘😘😘

I like the implication that Nya was really bad at dancing before Jay, like Kai covering his eyes because he cannot handle her sister not being perfect at something 😛

And Cole being the dance expert, that little tango moment with Kai I bet made many lavashippers super happy 🖤❤🖤❤

THE TRIPLE TIGER SASHAY ALL THE WAY FROM SEASON 1-2 ABSOLUTELY YES YES YES!!! AND HE DIDN'T ROAR, HE STRAIGHT UP SAID "NO ONE PUTS COLE IN A CORNER" I'M DYING!!! With this and Nya's 'catch me', I expect so many Dirty Dancing AUs from this 😂👌

JUST LOOK AT THEM!!! Nya better say I love you back soon, like Kai and Skylor are a little behind, Zane and Pixal already said it, Jay can't stop doing it, come on girl it's your turn! 😎😎

RACER SEVEN

SCOTT IS BACK YES!!! 😍😍😍💙💙💙

Okay, I think my theory won't happen 😅 Feels like there are not enough episodes for a good reveal, and it doesn't seem like Scott is that influenced by Jay. My last idea is that perhaps he has spent so much time in the game like Jay said (POOR BABY 😭) that he doesn't remember. Maybe the moment he will come back, we will find out that it is Jay's brother/twin, I mean he still has those dragon and lightnings drawing on his back... yeah I like this theory a lot, gonna hold on to it!

So Scott is indeed a person trapped in a game, at least that's confirmed 👍

Also he's got some major issues, the poor thing, and I think there is some special reason behind him not wanting to race besides having just one life.

HERE IT COMES

OH MY GARMADON 😂😂😂 Okay, okay, it's actually better than I expected really. The scarf is cool, and so are the golden tattoos, the suit and the golden sleeve. It's just the mohawk that will take time to get used to, it's not even bad, just weird 🤷‍♀️

Racer Seven is so cool! Always nice seeing a new female character in this show that is not a love interest. I do love Nya, Pix and Sky to death, but I love variety too 💪

Really, really nice the piece of all Racer Seven's crashes! Impactful and sad, a never ending loop that she wants to break through from. That's the heavy stuff I like!

Okay, ready for the race! And I'm... scared? Like, a lot of they guys have one life?? KAI HAS ONE LIFE?? 😱😱 I hope for the best I guess 😅

THE SPEEDWAY FIVE-BILLION

Might be my favorite episode yet

Seven is SO COOL, it's another reason why I'm sad these episodes are so short! I really would had liked see her more, truly have her bond with the guys

Soooo... I guess since Scott's been in the game for 30 years it's safe to assume he's not Jay's brother/twin. To be fair it's really hard to tell a LEGO person's age😅 At this point I guess he could be either Dyer's friend, even if it sounds unlikely, or... idk, still think he could have a connection with Jay. Maybe he's like... an older brother? Libber had him a long while ago?

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! WHY DID SCOTT HAVE TO DIEEEEEEEE??? 😭😭😭 Just when he was getting more involved, come on! He even said he wanted to try that hero stuff, I love him! WE WILL SAVE YOU MY TECH BABY!!!

Cole getting a ride from Kai, this season has some pretty good lava material ❤🖤❤🖤

I've got some major Ninjaball Run vibes from this, that brings me back 😂 Even the no rules thing is there, come on, there has to be a little bit of inspiration from it!

Still don't know what I think of the rats, kinda seems useless and annoying, gonna be honest. But it's a nice race, exciting with nothing big happenin-

I so, so enjoyed how they did it. Like, one look between them to realize that yes, this is it, Jay is the expert and needs to go on. This is the end of our race... AAAHHH!! (Infinite shipping potential too)

Omg Nya screaming her brother's name and Jay his best friend's name, while Lloyd looks so devastated (those masks are actually kinda espressive, I really like them). Wow. This is the angst I needed, finally👌

YES SEVEN WON!!! HECK YEAH GIRL!!! SO HAPPY FOR HER!!! Also Okino in the background being happy, nice touch!

And now they are three... it's gonna end up with only Jay huh. I... I'm not ready actually, my heart 😢 They better all hug when this is all over!!!

Oh finally the backstory of Unagami I'm really curious about what happened in the past and what exactly brought the shut down of Prime Emp-

I LITERALLY CARE ABOUT NOTHING ELSE BUT THIS BEAUTIFUL GAMER BOY IN REAL LIFE!!! 😍😍😍😍😍

So Scott was the first beta tester, Milton asked Unagami to make the experience as exciting as possible, and that ended very badly so the game was shut down and THEY LEFT HIM INSIDE FULLY KNOWING HE WAS THERE??? I HATE DYER NOW!!!

Although it is really interesting knowing a tech genius like him, until now we got Dr. Julien and Cyrus Borg that were plenty open about the idea of AI with feelings as meaningful as humans'. While he doesn't get that, they are only machines for him and that's the reason why he doesn't understand how much Unagami is mad and filled with need for revenge.

This is why I want more than 11 minutes, the themes of this season are really, REALLY cool. I would have loved more introspection and development.

I guess Scott being Jay's brother is officially debunked 😅 Although I am curious about the life he left behind, since he was stuck in that game for 30 years. He still has those lightnings on the jacket I don't understand...

DON'T YOU DARE LET ZANE BE DESTROYED AGAIN PLEASE I STILL CRY WATCHING "THE TITANIUM NINJA"!!! 😢😢😢😢😢😢

The portal is open, Zane might get destroyed, Unagami wants revenge, Jay and Nya are the only one left and I'm pretty sure Nya will be killed as well leaving only Bluebell so there's THAT. So yeah, this is actually pretty cool!

THE TEMPLE OF MADNESS

This felt a little simple if I'm gonna be honest. I felt like the last mission before facing Unagami was a little basic, with nothing really exciting. Still liked it, but this is probably my least favorite episode 🤷‍♀️

Of course, put Jay is a sushi restaurant-themed level and he will kill you with puns 😂 I love this prankster

Again, the fighting scenes are dope. Definitely one of my favorite things since they changed the animation. You lose something you win something 😙

Wooo, Jay saying that he had trained for years just for kick his butt was actually cool! Bluebell is unleashing!

Wow, I actually love this ending?? A LOT?? After last episode I didn't have much hope, but after seeing it I gotta say, it was really great 👌👌

Jay taking charge is quite rare and when it happens you know things are about to get crazy 😂 It was really nice seeing how sensible he could be, telling that Unagami wasn't evil after all, that he needed closure and answers

I know I miss the animation peak we reached with SoG and Hunted, but I gotta say the atmosphere of the city with the lightnings and the gray sky was really awesome. Very cool.

Pff, that part with the elevator though, reminds me of the one in season 1 that made me start watch Ninjago ✌ Also it's always Borg's Tower indeed 😂

OKINO KICKING BUTTS HECK YEAH LOOK AT OUR RONIN GO!!!

And wow. WOW. I didn't expect Jay to drop the I'm adopted bomb on us, I think I never heard him talk about it since Skybound (that technically never happened so 😅). It was SO good seeing him sympathize with Unagami because he was also left with no explaination. His desire to know, along with the hope that the past is the past, but they had a good reason for. Also he freaking said he didn't have the chance to ask because Cliff is dead and I 😭😭😭😭

And here I melted, because we finally see the situation for what truly is, the way Jay also sees it: Unagami is a kid, a child that doesn't understand how the world works, that just wants to make his father proud but got rejected instead. The confrontation was actually touching, I really wish we had more time for that. Even a little resistance from Unagami, another fight, and a finally reconcilliation with Dyer.

Okay, very nice to see Seven and Okino out there and deciding to live their lives in Ninjago, nice to see some others like the rats going back to Prime Empire. As Unagami said, he gave them a choice, it's up to them at this point

But I'm sorry, WHY ARE WE NOT GOING TO TALK WITH SCOTT??? That guy's been trapped inside the game the longest, not even a "Hey bud, you're alive, cool cool"? I know I've been overbearing about how much I love Scott, especially since I had all those theories about him (still don't know why he has lightnings on his jacket and hat, is it just a style thing? Idk), but come on! Well I guess if he's happy I am 🤷‍♀️

Is that his girlfriend or something? After 30 years? Or maybe she got trapped with him a while later? Or maybe that's his... mom? Look, we all know determine the age of LEGO characters is hard, give me a break please 😅😅

Overall, very nice ending, it brought everything together quite nicely. I'm satisfied, yes!! 💜💜

FINAL THOUGHTS

As I said, the episodes' lenght I really think gets in the way of making this an excellent season. There is so much that could be explored more, the choice matter, all the amazing characters, and the AI feelings stuff from the latest episodes. There is room for more, I wished we got that

The characters though were really amazing. Between Scott, Okino, Seven and Unagami himself, there were very different personalities with very different dreams and thoughts, that made this ride much more interesting

Fighting animation was 👌👌👌

Comebacks from past seasons were 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

Maybe it didn't really focused on Jay as much until the end? Yeah it was about him, but we got to see his sensibility and his past only last episode. He loves Nya, he likes videogames, of course but there's more about him than meets the eye! Wished we saw that, but in general it was nice seeing him first line again 💙

I liked this season. It has flaws, but I enjoyed many parts and at the end I was left satisfied 👍

Just... wasn't Jillian supposed to be in this? Or is it next season? She said a mom was going to come back, I took for granted it was going to be Edna. I'm curious about next season now... FINALLY A COLE SEASON EVERYONE!!! 🖤🖤🖤
