Not often one let their guard down around him. It was odd, to have her leaned against his frame, relaxed. Their chattering ceased moments ago, as they spent nearly the whole cycle dealing with a mess he caused. Being chased across what felt like the whole planet. Guess he shouldn't have pissed the mechs off, nor dragged her along with it. Not that she complained, much, in the end.

And here they were, who knows where, hiding and sitting in some kind of storage unit. It was dark, quiet, no way to be found. If only he could have simply paralyzed the Mech's and been done with it, but alas, they were on the bigger side, servos large enough to rip him apart. Hilarious though.

He chuckled at the thought, which gave no reaction from his companion. Companion who's frame was slack against his shoulder plating. "Steamy?... Ah scrap, really?" He quietly cursed to himself, when he realized the femme had fallen into recharge. He didn't blame her for it, he was exhausted too, legs aching. And boredom was slowly creeping in, the longer he sat there in silence.

He hissed to himself, servo circled around Steamtrack's waist and rested along her side plating. Guess, it didn't hurt to recharge here a bit. His finials flicked, sensors active. Frame adjusted into a comfortable position. Steam's frame laid against his side and Darkfang's tail coiled around her frame. It kept her close, while he tilted his helm towards the top of hers, optics gradually dimming to a close.

What sorts of things soothes them when they’re worked up?

Pre-onset Erosion, there wasn't much that could get Retuo 'worked up'. It truly took a lot to get under their scales (hahah). It was mostly during the Archon War and when Erosion symptoms were on full display, that got them more 'emotional'.

The company of someone they enjoy usually helps them calm down. Talking them down from an emotional high usually works until late stage Erosion made them inconsolable.

As for Azhdaha, not much riles them up either. Actually, I can't think of much that would ruffle their feathers leaves. Even Liyue or Zhongli being in danger would be dealt with fairly calmly.

None. And you were a fool to expect to receive any. Skarbrand does not like being fussed over and may become hostile at any post-coital affections. His duty is done, and he'd like to get on with the rest of his day.

Khazaan may accept aftercare, but I wouldn't expect anything from him either. The most he might do is bring food or blood-wine back to bed and let you have a piece, but that's as far as his affections go. You may cuddle him, be he isn't reciprocating (while awake).

It depends on the other person, but generally yes. Bloodthirsters are designed to find and humiliate the strongest enemy on the field of battle by besting them, but I'm sure that satisfaction would extend here too. Skarbrand would be contemptuous-- and pleased. Khazaan would openly enjoy the begging and it would probably push him to be a bit sadistic. Neither would admit they enjoyed it in this context. Neither of them would beg themselves either, though Khazaan has done it as a Chaos Fury.

The Wild Children! Merida and Wild would get into soooo much trouble together, since they have such similar personalities. They both love adventuring, exploring, archery, and horseback riding! Queen Elinor and Twilight/Time would probably just vent about their crazy 'children' together.

I feel like out of all the boys, Wild would definitely be the most likely to get someone he knows cursed by accident. Also, he's ridden bears before (BOTW lol), and so when Merida tells him about all of her adventures, he'd probably get so excited like, OH MY GOODNESS YOU TOO?!

Also, if you don't understand what Merida is saying, she is basically just challenging Wild to hit an arrow into a far away tree 😂
