god i want. an au where it dosn't work. where it's just arr g'raha who's woken up, and he doesn't have all these memories and all these people keep looking at him like they're mourning someone. the world has changed and time has changed and all the people he knows have changed, but he hasn't changed, he was just sleeping, just sleeping, and the world nearly ended several times and apparently he helped prevent yet another end but he has no memory of this. they want him to join the scions. he does not know these people. (he barely knows the warrior of light, now, but did he ever truly know them in the first place?) his little sister is alive and well. she looks at him like a ghost. she's changed, and she's older than him now. he acts bratty and loud and brash to cover up the fact that he does not know anything it seems, and he is tired but he was sleeping for so long, so how could he be tired?

he doesn't know these people. they seem to know him. he wonders if he'd killed someone, when it was him and not that exarch who woke up. he wonders if it should have been him who was "killed" in that way, if it is him that lives and not that man who had known and become friends with all these figures from legend. he wonders if he'll always be fated to be a historian one step back from everything, because he simply cannot be a hero.

Red Thread of Fate

We all know Oh No! Here Comes Trouble was tied together by a thin red thread of fate, and we saw this from the beginning

to the very end.

But what about all the various ways we saw it in between? There were the obvious red threads showing how everything was connected,

but what about all the subtle ways, like when people's phones reflected red as the plane fell in the sky.

Or how the grandfather and father wore red around their necks the day of the accident.

Because that thin red burning paper floated through the scene only to break apart and kick start this entire adventure.

And each time a new case emerged, it showed up in red.

And even though Yiyong wanted to live a calm life in the blue, the red would always find its way in.

Until finally, he would have to accept his destiny each time and surrender to the red.

Because the thin red line of fate actually started with his grandfather running from his destiny.

And he tried for years to ignore it even though the red was still there.

So his avoidance began to weave others into the story.

Which forced blue boy Yiyong to deal with the red destiny his grandfather refused to confront because his friends wouldn't let him ignore it.

Since these people were always destined to be apart of his story.

Because the red always showed up to signify when someone was tied to the larger story.

So when Yiyong was in trouble, that red thread could appear

And lead his friends to him since they were all connected.

Since that was the real red thread of fate that the grandfather gave up on. The thread is meant to connect people, but instead, the grandfather closed himself off, unlike Yiyong. So when Yiyong looked like his destiny would be the same as his grandfather

And when it felt like the cycle seemed to come to a close

Yiyong friends rushed to helped him

And all those red threads of fate that blue boy Yiyong had helped piece together became one to stitch Yiyong back to life.

Another person with "won't rp with all female/woman blogs" in their rules, another time for me to be full of confusion.

Technically my blog doesn't break that rule as I have enby and male muses. But somehow I doubt enby muses are included, and most of mine (because of how they present) would probably be seen as 'Woman-Lite'. Which as a nonbinary person myself (who is sorta woman aligned but sorta agender too) is quite frustrating. LOL. Like...I totally respect any and all rules but...this one confuses me ngl. LOL . And also, I feel like it's somewhat unfair because....it's assuming a lot about people with all women blogs. Like...maybe they just happen to have more muse for female characters. Idk.....just seems strange (to me).

Obviously, no one has to RP with anyone they don't want to. But I can't help but think this rule is kinda biased tbh. And like not in the sense of being (internalized) misogynistic necessarily (though maybe tbh, depends on the person and their reasoning behind it), but in the sense that they're biased against a blog just because of the gender makeup of their muses which is not something people necessarily do purposefully. Like it just depends on what muses people have inspiration for, tbh. And I don't see anyone (so far) saying no to all man-blogs. Which IMO makes it a sorta unfair double standard. But I digress.

I don't think people with this rule are necessarily misogynistic, I just think they're closing themselves off from a lot of fun RPers and RPs because they think all all women blogs are the same which tbh is not the case. Every blog is as unique as the mun who writes it. And I think people need to remember that.

Also, I tend to have more muse for my women and enby muses. Does that make me less worthy as an rper? I hope not tbh. The only male muse I really have consistent inspiration for is Jaskier. And tbh, idek why that is. Like....it could be his queerness. But Benedict is also queer, and my muse for him isn't as consistent. So I really don't know.

I didn't follow this mun, of course. But I just...will forever be confused by rules like this one. And tbh, I don't see that changing. LOL

the eleventh doctor's arc truly comes so full circle! it’s the story of a mad gods hard, angry conflict between responsibility and fantasy. from the moment he crashes into amelia’s backyard, he’s like something of a fairy tale; a phantom, a wise man, a hero. a mad man who can disappear just as quickly whence he came. and when he returns, has the ability to turn one’s entire world around— without a single thought for any damage he may have caused along the way. he didn’t just forget his part in the time war: he’s quick to forget a lot, to go too far, to never look back. to never question himself. he hurries on to the next place, becomes a legacy within a few hours on some planet, in some time, and calls it a day. until he begins again. he is the dreamer of improbable dreams, because he requires that divide from reality.

he is “the man who forgets” because he needs to seperate himself from who he was, he needs this new perspective, he needs the worship, someone relying on him, and only him. “i took you with me because i was vain. because i needed to be adored.” eleven began his life as a goofy, kind soul who would happily spend his first moments eating fish fingers and custard with a child, and promise her adventure. the fantasy. yet he’s also a man who would disappear for fifteen years and never provide a legitimate apology. the avoidance of responsibility. (until the god complex, of course.) he calls the atraxi back to earth because it allows him to fulfil the role of a hero in some fantasy, to show off in front of amy, to be that whimsical, magical figure she saw him as when she was a child. to uphold that image. he wants to be a story, he doesn’t want commitments. not to mention the fact that amy literally dreams him back into existence, that her belief in him made him whole again.

the doctor hates endings. he rips the final page out of his books because he can’t stand the thought, the concept. he doesn’t want the adventure to conclude, he doesn’t want the reality to seep through. he doesn’t want the stories to ever end, because in his mind, he is the greatest story of them all. (i’m not even going to go into his arc in season six because i need a whole separate post for that. season six is the consequences of all these actions. and hoo boy. it is brilliant.)

the day of the doctor, i believe, is really the turning point for eleven. the man who forgets arc forcing him to face the consequences of his actions, to step down from the mad man in a box pedestal he’s reigned on for this entire incarnation. he finally takes full responsibility on trenzalore, by sending the TARDIS, and clara away so he can stand and fight for the remaining centuries of his life. he wants to run, to flee, the idea of staying in one place so very terrible (but he takes responsibility, sees the reality, sees he can't just help out for a bit, then saunter back into his box) and he stays. he sends away the TARDIS because he knows he’ll take the easy way out, and step safely inside her doors.

not to mention the hard, in your face symbolism of the christmas town in trenzalore quite literally looking like it came right out of a fairy tale. visually, this is how the doctor wants to live, he wants the whimsical, to live like a storybook. he wants only the middle of the book, before the conflict, before the hero has to make a hard choice. but when he does achieve it, when he arrives in that fairy tale-esque town, it becomes the reality he’s chosen to live, with more responsibility, more bravery than this incarnation has ever shown. he’s rewarded for his nine centuries of responsibility because he’s no longer running towards the fantasy. he can separate the difference, and can find happiness in staying put. he ultimately becomes the heroic raggedy man amy idolised far too long, he’s earned the title, he’s become the doctor.

no yeah the first one was Howdy's brief stint (a couple hours) for the whole smoke inhilation minor injuries from the fire thing.

the second one was for Wally's festive lil car crash where he comes very close to Fuckign Dying!!! and. well. technically there are many different visits for that one cause he's in the hospital for a hot sec, but yk. technically only two hospital-worthy events
