Still, all things considered, while taking his usual place as a decorated wallflower, even he had to admit that this particular soiree hosted by the Trevor Family was one for the books. Of course, he would appreciate not being bombarded with such repetitive, idle chatter regarding his sudden dismissal concerning his rank, and the even more sudden move, but it could be a lot worse. His hawkish gaze continued to scan the horizon's of the party from his wall when he noticed a golden figure amidst the crowd. The son of the Trevor's, he assumed. Oh, yes, he had met many a gentlemen like him even back in the West Indies. A stately aristrocrat bred for this lavished life.-- The admiral's gaze quickly drew back to the dancing guests when he noticed the gentleman return his wandering stare.

While I was walking to a cafe I was going to watch the BRA game I ran into a group of Mexico fans. Seeing my shirt they were all MEXICO MEXICO MEXICO. So I yelled BRASIL BRASIL BRASIL!!! But then the others also yelled (somewhat a group of 10/15) and I was *eeeeeep* acts like she’s covering and then they were like so sweet chanting: BRASIL BRASIL *gives me high five*. Hello my lovely friends. Something quite exciting happened to me today…

I’m speechless, and a little emotional hahah. I may sound silly for saying so, and I know in some people’s eyes this may not seem like much, but to the shy girl who lives in the middle of nowhere the English countryside, it’s a LOT. I’ve picked up and dropped writing a few times, for other fandoms too, and it never really got anywhere. Which is fine, I was telling stories that I wanted to tell and that was enough. But, knowing that 500 people read one of my pieces and thought they’d stick around, is absolutely baffling to me. I always put a little piece of myself in my writing, and seeing that get accepted really just warms my heart. This isn’t just a follower milestone, this is a very personal milestone too. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to articulate why or how grateful I am, but trust me, it means so much to me.

I have made friends here, I have interacted with some wonderful people, and I have felt love and support that I haven’t felt before. I have found a place I feel I am welcome in. I am infinitely grateful to every single one of you. From the people I talk to every day to the people who quietly follow me…I am so grateful for you. You’ve made this gal very, very happy. I love you all, so much.💛
