Yuu is consistently asked to help out during Sam's New Year's sale. And though she doesn't take part in the game playing or getting the extra bonus like her classmates, she does still earn a regular rate of compensation.
She is also really only there when the chosen 4 have completed their shifts for the day, serving as the cashier whilst Sam double checks the inventory recorded earlier in the day and preps to close up the store until the following day.
This is also one of the few times you will see Yuu more dressed up unless she's expected to be do to alternative events and wearing makeup. Below the cut is what your muse is going to find her in and looking like if you come after the others leave.

The Red King holds a Bleeding Head
A Wonderland of Yanderes - Masterlist Chapter 1. Heartslaybul Part 1.
You feel like you're floating. Gliding.
Your mirror glows, beckoning you forth.
"What is this?" You climb out of bed and take step after step, it's like walking on something soft yet hard, instead of the splintery hardwood. The mirror glows brighter with each step, and it ripples when you stop directly in front of it. A part of you feels compelled to touch it.
So you do, like an enormous idiot.
As soon as your fingers press against the cool glass, you're rocketed forward through a bright light.
Your body hits grass. Soft grass. You stand up, looking down to see grey grass.
The world you landed in was completely black, white and grey. And at the same time, it looks like a fantasy land straight from a storybook. Around you are rose bushes, comically large all a pale colour if the pale white is to be believed.
Behind you is the mirror, showing your bedroom still coloured the way it normally is and just as you left it.
"H-Hello?" A handful of- Card Soldiers? rush pass you. All holding paint buckets full of red paint and paint brushes. The paint is the only colour you can see. They didn't see you.
<Hurry up and paint the roses red!>
<Slather them quickly, as aforesaid!>
They sing as they quickly paint all the white roses red.
"They're...painting the roses?"
Someone nudges your arm.<Miss, why are they painting the roses?>
You whip your head to your side. A girl, black and white, like the world around you. Her light coloured hair is tied up with a black ribbon. And she's wearing a light coloured dress with black and white stockings.
You point to yourself, "You can see me?"
<Of course. In fact, you're the most normal thing I've seen here.> Her voice is far away, like an old movie. You open your mouth to answer, but the girl wanders off, walking up to the card soldiers. <Why are you painting these white roses red?>
<Huh?>
<Why, you ask? Well it's simple...>
<The Queen likes her roses red. If they're white, we'll lose our heads!>
The cards sing.
This is Alice in Wonderland. You know this tale. A lost little girl falls into a world of absurdity, only to find out it was all a dream.
You wish your wonderland was just a dream.
<Goodness!>
<And so, we're painting the roses red>
But why was the mirror showing you this? Why was-
The sound of thunderous knocks echo through the dream world, it ripples and you're back in Ramshackle.
"I swear I was asleep in my dorm a second ago. How did-"
The world ripples harder, faster as the knocks increase in volume.
The world distorts and goes black.
Your eyes open. "Is someone at the door?" You whisper. Grim squirms in your arms, irritated by the noise.
"Mmm-....human? What's that noise..?"
The knocks are loud. So very loud.
"I think....someone's at the door." Your heart pluses with adrenaline. It's only been a week, how could someone try to stake their claim on you so quickly?!
"Is it one of those pesky ghosts again?! Why can't they just give up?!" Grim whines, burrowing himself into your sheets.
You snatch the knife on your bedside. You're not dumb enough to go back to sleep, you're risking something happening while you sleep, so you'll do the other dumb thing, go to the door, armed with a blade to a magic fight. Someone is trying to stake their 'claim'. But you're not going down without a fight.
Careful, you slip out of bed, avoiding some of the more creaky floorboards. You tip-toe over to the wall, separating you and the hallway. You lift on of the sheets to reveal one of the holes to the hallway, and it's thankfully empty.
So they're at the door, leading outside, in the dark, when the only other people here are ghosts and a sleepy magic cat.
"Henchman, go back to sleep," Grim whines. "The blankets are all cold now..."
"Grim, can you come with me to check it out." When you get no response, you change your angle, "It might be a foe for the Great Grim to vanquish?", still no response.
You sigh, as the knocks start up again. "Grim, do you want to sleep in my room tomorrow night?"
Grim pokes his head out of his blanket cocoon, "Three nights."
"Two."
"Henchman, you are demanding the Great Grim's help. You can't bribe me." You give him a look, he huffs," Two nights, it is." Grim sits himself on your shoulders. "Let's get rid of the intruder so we can go back to bed!"
You drag the dining chair away from the door handle, and the hallway is still as dark as you left it. The knocks get more erratic. You gulp down a deep breath, as you enter the entry hall.
"W-Who is it?" You call out, knife at the ready in both hands, just in case.
"It's me, Ace! Just let me in, all right!" Of course it's Ace. Still with what you learned yesterday, your guards not down yet.
"Ace, it's the middle of the night! Why are you here?" You speak through the door.
"Hey! Calm down, I'm not here to kidnap you or anything..." You freeze at the kidnapping mention. You swallow. Well, now he's gotten you into a bind. If you hesitate any longer, he might get suspicious.
You slide the knife into your pants waist band and cover it with your shirt. You hope it doesn't nick.
You unlock the door and, "What the hell are you wearing?!"
"Bwah! That collar!" Grim doubles over on the floor laughing, at the sight of the heart shaped collar around Ace's neck. And the fear you felt earlier is being replaced with giggles bubbling in your throat.
"I can't go back to Heartslabyul House." Ace grumbles, as you finally let out your laughs.
You smother your laughter long enough to talk, "W-Why? Did they laugh you out for wearing that?"
Ace's frown deepens, "I'm joining your dorm. For good." Wait, what?
"Myah! Come again!?"
Ace repeats himself, "I'm joining your dorm. And I'm never going back to Heartslabyul again!"
Cold sweat erupts on your skin. "Wait. You're not serious, right?" He pushes past you into the entry hall. Turning to give you a cheeky smile.
"Completely serious." he slings an arm over your shoulders, "What do you think _____, wanna make me your Vice Dorm Head?"
No. Really, NO. Having a yandere in your house where you sleep sounds like you're asking for trouble.
"A-Ace, you can't stay here!" You immediately regret how upset you sounded. Especially with how Ace's mischievous grin vanished as soon as you said those words.
"Huh? Why?"
Because he's a yandere, and you're a 'darling', or more specifically, 'his darling'. It's common sense.
Instead, you change tact. "Look, why don't we just talk about what happened," You scoop up Grim, and lock the front door. "Come on. Let's go to the living room."
"You're an idiot, Ace." You say, facepalming.
"Hey!"
"If you ate my tuna, I would be pretty mad too."
"Still, locking off my magic is insane for eating a ONE slice of tart!"
"Yeah, it is." But it puts him on your level, magicless, powerless. "But-" "He might as well have cut off my arms and legs. What kind of jerk cuts mage off of his magic?!"
"Ac-"
"I mean, it's not like he could eat all THREE of those tarts to himself."
"ACE!" You yell as you cup his face in your hands and he calms down immediately. His eyes light up as he looks at you, with that same sparkle you saw in the halls earlier. Shit...
You let him go as you take a few steps back, to distance yourself from the man obsessed with you. Who's probably obsessed with controlling you too. He's still staring, and you drop you hand to where the handle of the knife rests on your stomach.
Grim speaks up, "Y'know if there were three of 'em, they probably were for a birthday party."
"A birthday party, huh?" Ace thinks aloud, his eyes still locked on you. You can feel his stare going into the walls behind you.
"Did you even apologise?" And he snaps out of his staring daze.
"Hey _____, I thought you would be a lil more sympathetic. I'm a victim here!" That look in his eyes darkens slightly. It's scary as if he's mad that you're.....not........defending him. Double shit.
You backpedal, "He....may have been a tad extreme." "But he stole food, that's not ok!" Grim objects. Damn it, Grim. Try to keep your henchman free, ok?
"Stealing food is a serious offense." you say, reluctantly.
"Aw, man you got to be kidding me." Ace complains.
"But if you apologise, he might forgive you." That look feels darker now. Maybe, you can just......"Ace, I'm your friend. I want to help you." You reach to take his hand and give it a gentle squeeze. The light brightens, "Just let me help."
"All right, all right...I'll apologise." Cool, all well that ends well, now all you have to do is get him out of your dorm and then all is well and good.
"But you're coming with me, _____" Damn it. Now you have to go with Ace to the controlling dorm, full of psycho control freaks, one of which is a dorm leader that cuts off magic for eating a tart. Great.
"Fair enough." You lie.
"By the way, do you have anywhere where I can crash tonight?"
"You were serious about that? Outside of the room, me and _____ use, this entire dump is buried under a foot of dust. So if you wanna crash you better start cleanin." Oh no.....Please don't ask to stay in my room, please don't ask to stay in my room, please do not ask to stay in my room.
"Dude, no way. I hate cleaning!" Don't say it. Don't say it.
"C'mon _____ Lemme stay with you, I'm real slim. I won't take up much space~" God dammit. That look in his eyes come back, as he pulls you closer. Too close.
Now what are you going to do? That look is back and you don't like seeing it darken. If you say no, he might get mad. If you say yes, you'll be sleeping with a yandere who might do seven-only-knows to you!
Grim runs in between you, separating you from Ace's piercing gaze. "No! Henchman promised to let me stay in her bed tonight!" Ace deflates, backing down. Thank you Grim I owe you some extra tuna-y tuna.
Wait a second. He's giving Grim a dark look. Is it jealousy or something?
You let go of Ace's hand and tightly embrace Grim, "You can sleep on the couch tonight. I'll get you a pillow and blanket."
You get the hell out as fast and inconspicuously as possibly. You yank open the topmost comforter and pillow from the linen closet, run back and toss it to Ace as fast as you can. Before you can disappear into the hallway back to the maybe safety of your room, "Hey ______?" You freeze.
"Yes? You turn and try to smile, but you can feel the muscles in your lips beg you to frown.
You swallow a whimper as he advances toward you. Too close, too close. "Good night."
"Good night, Ace." You turn back and.
....Soft lips on your forehead. He's kissing you good night.
It's been a week. One week was all it took. He fell for you in one week.
"S-see you tomorrow..." You say, dumbstruck.
You. are. doomed.

Whatever You Wish
Twisted Wonderland X Furina |
Summary: After Leona’s overblot, he is still avoidant of his family yet not as much as before. Perhaps he is willing to extend his perception of the word “family”.
Leona did not care for shopping. Shopping was Ruggie’s job. It was supposed to be, at least.
How did he find himself in the town at the bottom of the mountain? It’s simple: Ruggie was slacking off somewhere(he was working a shift at the Mostro Lounge). And Leona didn’t have time nor the patience to wait for the foolish hyena.
Why not just go to Sam’s store, then? A stupid question. If Leona was caught buying what he needed, he’d never hear the end of it from other students who clearly wanted a pummeling. Not that he really cared, but I’d be a thorn in his side.
Leona was buying gifts for his family in Sunset Savannah. Not out of kindness, no—and ew.
He had promised to come visit during a break, but was a no show once again. It wouldn’t have been a problem if it was just Farena and Cheka, but Farena’s wife knew of the supposed-to-be visit as well. Leona didn’t feel like getting on the Queen’s bad side, not to mention she was a warrior of Sunset Savanna.
Luckily Leona was always one step ahead, making the excuse of a Magift game being on the same day he was supposed to set off from the Dark Mirror. His family couldn’t argue against him being there for his team during a game. The gifts Leona planned to send were merely a formality: a way to sweeten the deal.
The townspeople at the bottom of the mountain crowded the streets, filling the cold air with such laughter and joy that Leona almost wanted to rip off his ears.
With only two more shops to go, and Leona’s good mood dead and buried twenty feet under, the man almost didn’t notice the fluff of unnatural white hair amidst the crowd of people on the other side of the street. But he did.
Standing before a shop window was Furina. Her tussled snow white hair streaked with baby blue was impossible to miss even in the largest seas of people. Her clothes were mundane compared to her natural beauty, they were monochromatic and boring—not to mention overly large. Vil was sure to have a fit if he ever saw Furina wearing the gaudy pieces of clothing, Leona surmised with a smirk.
The woman held multiple bags in her hands. Leona noted that many were from the grocery stores in town, a select few had clothing brand names on their bags. Furina stood beside a window for only a few seconds, head barely tilted enough to stare inside. Then, she continued on her way, pace quicker than needed.
When Furina was out of sight, Leona walked across the bustling street and sauntered up to the display to see just what the Ramshackle resident had been staring at. What he saw confused him.
A mannequin the size of a young adult was adorned with a plain wig, the hair covered in a rainbow of plastic ornaments and accessories. It wore a gentle white sundress that reached just below the knees and hugged the waist with a pearl colored ribbon tied into a bow at the back. The outfit was what Furina had to have been staring at, with rolls of imported silk fabric the only other thing on display, it wasn’t very hard to figure out. Looking up at the sign gave Leona all the information he needed. It was a boutique catered towards the younger generation and tourists. The prices were nothing to Leona, but they were the kind that Ruggie was sure to complain about more than he usually would.
Leona knew that Furina was practically on her own in Ramshackle, no other dorm members or people to watch out for her. She was strong in that regard. Self sufficient and incredibly smart. Otherwise Furina wouldn’t have outsmarted him before his overblot. Leona respected her for it. Though he would never admit the truth out loud.
Leona still remembered how Furina had taken control during the overblot. Vivid memories paired with the remembrance from the harsh sting of his cheek when she slapped him. Leona’s cheek had remained bruised for two entire weeks afterwards.
The day Leona met her in the garden, he didn’t think Furina was the type to not indulge herself when she wanted something.
Perhaps other views of her were only shallow at best.
Furina was long gone by the time Leona pushed away the familiar thoughts and walked away from the tourist trap to Rouge, a store brimming with makeup and homemade jewelry. Some pompous Pomefiore students had been going on and on about it after school while working on their science club experiment. Leona just so happened to overhear. Maybe he could find decent apology gifts that didn’t scream ‘I tried too hard, I’m insincere’ or ‘I didn’t try at all, sucks to be you’ in there.
With thoughts of his own past buried to deal with later, Leona opened the glass door and stepped inside the store. Bell singing gently as it closed. The shop, actually the first floor of the owner’s house, expanded into a decently sized wooden floored living room refurbished to fit rows of glass boxes filled with exquisite gem encrusted items on shelves. Polished wood tables held racks of mascara and a plethora of lipstick in so many colors Leona’s head hurt. The cashier, a child of the shop owner, greeted him with a minimal effort “welcome” before turning back to their book.
Leona lazily browsed the selection of warm colored lipsticks, walking at a snail’s pace as his mind attempted to comprehend the names of each red lipstick that looked exactly the same as the last. He was in no rush to grab something and leave, half-pleased at the thought of his dorm members losing their minds over the disappearance of their dorm leader on a weekend.
Finding nothing of particular interest with the lipstick he had picked up, it’s color dubbed “eternally young” according to the sticker taped to the table, Leona started for the eyeliner section on a different table when a light caught his attention from the corner of his eye.
Leona turned to the source with the barest hint of interest. It was a set of gem inlaid hair accessories paired with two hair combs, all arranged in a plush black velvet box under the light of a window. Walking closer, Leona saw the laminated note explaining what was within the protective box and promptly ignored it.
Seven rose gold hair accessories held flowers crafted from pink tourmaline in their grasp, proudly shining in the sunlight like contented house cats.
Pearls shaped into teardrops hung from two rosy metal hair sticks shaped into sakura blossom branches in perfect bloom, rose chains weaving around the black velvet folds.
Three large tourmaline flower clips laid next to the sticks, white beads attached to golden wire shaped to imitate leaves. The three clips all had different flowers carved out. The first was a branch of the iconic sakura flower almost identical to the hair picks. The second a mix of small but intricate delphinium and lavender made of a gentle purple tourmaline swaying in an imaginary breeze. The third an imitation of freesia dotted with webs of small opal beads with the occasional yarrow flower.
Then, there was the rosy colored bobby pin with a single lily flower attached by four small claws between the petals.
Finally, there was the hair chain. It wasn’t decorated with flower shaped gems like the other items, only a branch of leaves on each clip with a singular tear shaped tourmaline hanging between the chains.
Along with the accessories came two wooden combs made from dark oak, one a wide-tooth while the other was a rake. Both had painted golden vines creeping along the handles, coiling like snakes steadily choking their prey. They were nowhere near as extravagant as the hair pieces, yet they were just as useful.
The items all came in a set, and the note went on and on in a monologue about the sentimental value as the maker carved the brushes and assembled the clips, then imbuing the accessories with a protective charm that would keep them from breaking or being too heavy. Leona skipped through it all until he found the price tag at the bottom on a smaller sticker.
10,894.99
It was dirt cheap.
After mulling over whether the accessories would seem sincere enough, Leona shrugged and called the cashier over. The person seemed surprised at actually being needed, jumping in place before looking down mournfully at their book before stepping away with a set of keys in hand. Leona walked back as they sorted through the keys one by one at a sloth’s pace.
“Gettin’ these for a lover?”
A voice broke the silence, making Leona internally groan. It was the cashier, fishing for small talk. This could not be any worse.
“Sister in law, actually.” They hummed faintly at the response, returning focus to their endeavor of finding the right key.
“Hmm. Then it wouldn’t hurt to tell you that the set is actually made for two people. Cuz’ of the two brushes,” Leona couldn’t care less. “Some of the accessories are for someone with long hair, the others made specifically for a short haired person.” Yes, Leona knew how accessories worked, please stop talking.
“If ya plan to buy all of it, you might want to save some for a later date—or a different person. Ya have any other sisters? Older, younger? You could give ‘em to her.”
That made Leona pause. He didn’t want to go through the hassle of splitting the uneven amount of accessories into ‘buy’ or ‘don’t buy’ categories, that was too much effort for something so little as this. Leona would buy the complete set, yet what would he do with the remaining accessories? They certainly weren’t his style.
Actually, he didn’t care about what happened to the unused pieces. Ruggie would take them off his hands at some point.
Yet the cashier’s last words rang in his head. “Any other sisters? You could give ‘em to her.” ….A younger Sister. Someone else who would use them.
A loud click brought Leona out of his thoughts. The employee had finally found the correct key and had already started to lift the velvet box from the case. Shaking his head to clear it of strange thoughts, Leona pulled out his wallet to grab a handful of bills as they approached the counter. The cash register chirped as the cashier typed away, scanning the code at the bottom of the box and placing it in a supposed-to-be fancy looking bag before pausing to look up at Leona with a plastic smile.
“Cash or card?”
Instead of deeming them with an actual answer Leona said “Keep the change.” then tossed the money at the cashier, taking the bag from the counter and beelining for the front door.
Leona was already out the door and starting for his final stop, unable to hear or perhaps uncaring about the cashier’s cry of “Wait, you overpaid!” from inside.
Walking down the street, Leona found himself walking past the same tourist trap Furina had been glancing at as he headed for the port market. The dress, unchanging since the last hour and a half, still stood smugly within its sill. He ignored it, taking a sharp turn to the left so that the store would be out of sight. He had a fake apology to finish.
—
Leona would never admit it, but it brought him closure when Furina came around to visit Savanaclaw regularly. In a school full of boys, Furina had higher odds of gaining unwanted attention. Ever since his overblot, Furina occasionally tread the line of danger and reluctance to check up on him. What started out as cautious check ins steeped in distrust had turned into a weekly routine Leona almost looked forward to. Almost.
Once or twice every other day or so, Furina wandered through the dorm mirror to spend at least an hour in Leona’s presence. The other dorm members didn’t even blink or raise complaints when she appeared, not anymore. Leona had silenced them all
The chill of October had stretched into November, and Furina’s visits were growing more and more common. In the time they spent together, Leona learned things about Furina just as Furina learned about Leona. Chess was a common game the two played, though Leona had yet to beat her. Other times they simply soaked in each other’s presence. Each visit was random, yet the time spent together was precious in a way.
When Furina appeared in the middle of November, gently knocking on his door in the dead of night, Leona snapped to attention. The moment Leona wrenched his door open and let her inside, she spilled everything with a smile on her face. If Leona hadn’t known Furina for so long, he would have thought she was delirious for smiling joyfully while explaining her bet against the scamming cephalopod. Fortunately, Leona knew Furina better than that.
The smile on her face marked her fear. Furina was terrified of losing the deal. She staked not only Ramshackle, but a great deal of mora—whatever that was—and her freedom on the contract. In any other situation or if it were any other person, Leona would have called them an idiot and kicked them out after making such a deal. Not Furina, though. Never Furina.
Furina had serious problems, always raising the stakes to a dramatic level. Leona had thought the motto “high risk high reward” described her once, yet he knew there was more to her than that. In her obsession for make it or break her deals was a deeply rooted desire to prove herself better or smarter than her opponent. A need for perfection, for total control.
A mask of faked superiority.
Leona also knew Furina was desperate to break the bad habit, to stop putting so much at risk and finally let old habits die. Yet her mouth ran with the mask before her mind could catch up.
Perhaps that was a part of why Furina never let herself indulge in her own wants.
Leona wasn’t good with comforting words. Never was, never will be. Watching as Furina almost imperceptibly shook, body barely containing her stress as she sat at on the edge of the wide bed with his blanket wrapped around her shoulders, Leona knew he should do something.
Heaving a heavy breath, Leona silently stalked over to his desk scattered with hoards of jewelry. Carding through the mess, Leona opened a drawer and slid out a velvet black box. Stealthily as he could, Leona opened the box to check its contents. The hair picks along with the wide comb and sakura flower clip had been mailed to the Sunset Savannah Queen along with the other gifts. The lily bobby pin was missing from the remainder of the set(thanks, Ruggie) yet Leona was more focused on the other items. Making sure they were all accounted for, Leona closed the box and quietly wandered to his closet where a large white box lay hidden.
Inside the box was a dress. The one with the silver bow and the same color as Furina’s short snowy hair.
Taking the box from the closet, Leona turned to make sure Furina hadn’t seen him leave her side before tip toeing his way back to his bed. Furina was unresponsive even when the mattress dipped from Leona’s weight, too deep in thought to notice anything going on around her.
“Oi, listen to me.” Leona called, snapping his fingers in front of Furina’s face as her eyes glazed over and her mind ate itself with regret. “You gotta snap out of it.”
Furina recoiled slightly at the sudden sight of Leona’s hand before her face, blinking repeatedly as her trance broke. Furina looked up at Leona with confusion, moth opening to question him when he pushed two boxes into her trembling hands.
“Just open them, would you?” He interrupted, poking a single finger against her forehead. Furina paused, brain slowly calming as she registered Leona’s touch. Nodding absently, Furina looked down at the two boxes with thinly veiled curiosity.
As if she were handling a fragile porcelain teacup, Furina gently opened the long black box. Her eyes went wide as she stared at the contents inside. Two expensive looking hair charms along with a thick comb and almost necklace-like chain and leaf accessory sat inside the plush velvet box. They all shone with a proud glimmer underneath the moonlight, looking more expensive than what Furina would ever allow herself to own with her minimalistic budget.
Furina’s hands, blue as both the midnight and morning sky, shook for an entirely different reason than fear as she opened the second box.
It was the dress Furina had wanted from the store in town last week. Folded perfectly to fit in the box, the dress felt unreal even as Furina reached out to pick it up, azure and pale blue thumbs feeling the soft fabric of the long moon white sleeves shift underneath her touch.
“I-I don’t understand.” Furina stumbled, eyes filling with tears. She didn’t understand why Leona would give her such beautiful things, especially after what she has done.
“What’s there to not understand? I got these for you because you don’t have to put up a mask around me,” Leona reached out, taking a flower clip and catching the hair blocking Furina’s right eye before he locked it in place above her ear. “Whatever you desire, you can get. No one is watching you here. You’re safe, Furina.” Thinking for only a moment, Leona tilted forward, resting his chin against the crown of her tangled hair in what was possibly the most intimate act he had ever initiated.
Furina stared up at him, eyes wide from shock as she processed his words. Tears started to fall from her eyes in a steady river. Leona shifted the boxes away from Furina’s lap as her once contained shaking broke loose, entire body quaking as she cried into Leona’s chest. Her hands gripped at his clothes, wrinkling the expensive fabric and dampening it with her tears, yet he didn’t care. Leona’s toned arms wrapped around Furina’s shoulders in a protective hold, keeping her safe in his arms as he closed his eyes listened to her weep.
Leona was bad at comforting others, so perhaps silence was the best medicine.

Even More TWST Event Outfit Designs for Yuu! MC
Requested by @thelazyhermits
Witch Design Notes
Based off of Grim and his Halloween costume
Puffy ivory shirt and petticoat for colour balance and to match with Grim!
The sleeves are puffy with blue lining to mimic cat paws. The metacarpal pad is where the arms would go through but the opening is large enough that the blue lining is visible. The digital pads are pieces of fabric (so you can't stick your hand through them) but the rounded style of the sleeves allows you to place your hands there like giant kitty gloves
The boots have thick air soles that mimic cat paws & provide support
Fishbone waist chain
Thigh-high socks have spiderwebs (left leg) and pumpkins (right leg)
The translucent cape is attached to the back lining of the waistcoat to match the fire on the hat
I tried to stick to the canonical patterns in Grim's design. The exceptions are more subtle so the costume doesn't look too busy
A bunch o' ribbons!
Ignihyde simps so close to living their catgirl dreams
Monster Design Notes
I had a bunch of monster ideas and designs but picked a slightly more accented version of a costume I designed for a friend in real life
Stilts, braces, and crutches all do the job and depending on how you want your monster to crouch (and what's most comfortable for you), you can change the vibe of this costume!
The doll "head" on the back is one of those cheap plastic masks but enlarged and purposefully cracked with stitches (not real stitches but painted with a thick black marker)
For maximum spooks, Yuu hunches like a snapping turtle so when she extends her neck, it seems a lot longer than expected
Yuu wears a black mask to cover up her hair and skin
A majority of the costume is made from old curtains and fabric at Ramshackle so the gross and tattered texture was natural
The bottom of the rubber hands are painted so it leaves a dark, inky print on the floor
Roughly about 200~220cm in height depending on how Yuu adjusts the crutches
Yuu freaked Grim out with the mask and a second time with her whole costume
Yuu can terrorize people around campus at night even after the event is over :) or hang the costume by the door as a home security measure lol
#twisted wonderland#twst#twst yuu#yuu#twst grim#thelazyhermits#kofi request#kofi#lil' doots#the costume WILL test your endurance according to my friend#she went around her campus at night a week before halloween when the tired students are coming home from late classes to drum up#conspiracy and fear for halloween night lmao#she's a madwoman but theatre kid energy is strong

More HSR X TWST Yuus!
I am still on the idea of HSR characters at NRC thanks to @enatopiaa, so I made more with picrew!
First, Misha!Yuu, from @lazy0bear
The little bellhop from the Reverie Hotel. He wears shorts with his uniform. He feels quite at home in Ramshackle and manages to clean it up pretty well.
He's clumsy AF! He can trip over nothing and everything all at once.
He's really good at cleaning (because he was a bellhop).
He also has a hard time saying no to people so he gets taken advantage of a lot by the other students, especially the bigger ones, and Azul and the Tweels.
Luckily, he has his friends who are trying to teach him how to say no.
Leona and Malleus both see him as a little squirrel or mouse.
Vil gave him the hair clips to keep his hair out of his face.
Next, for @sunrisei Natasha!Yuu
The new school nurse. She changes up her look in order fit in more and look more professional.
Half of the students and staff have a crush on her. Students will skip class or clubs to see her, even faking injuries to get close to her. She sees right through them and sends them off with a pat on the head.
Vargas repeatedly flirts with her while she works. She doesn't know what to think about that.
During Book 2, she nearly loses her mind over all the injuries. She nearly shots Leona's head off with her gun during the Overblot fight. After that, no one messes with her.
She does care for the students and is fastened by their Unique Magics. She studies them and asks the students questions about them when they visit.
@sunlightocean, you read my mind about Sparkle!Yuu
This girl, is a menace to NRC. Everyone is fooled by her innocent appearance at first, but quickly learns real fast not to mess with someone who plans Russian Roulette.
She still wears her hair ribbons and red sandals from her base outfit.
Some boys try to flirt with her and get hurt. Some make of her for her childish nature and get hurt.
She may or may not be the reason for some of the boys OB.
She likes to disguise herself as other students to fool or trick them. This leads to headaches (and heartaches) everywhere.
Mind games, all day everyday.
And finally, Asta!Yuu
Rich girl with a heart of gold and brains to match. Despite her rich upbringing, she doesn't like to flaunt her wealth and is tired of the rich lifestyle.
She can relate to Kalim the most because they both grew up privileged. She helps him understand that Jamil has his own problems and worries outside of his own. And she teaches him to not spend so much money.
Her intelligence makes her one of NRC's most promising students. She starts/joins the Astrology Club.
She building her own telescope to see the stars better. The Shroud brothers are helping her and they get along well.
And finally, for me, Boothill!Yuu!
Menace to NRC Part 2 Electric Boogaloo! He's not as much as a menace as Sparkle though.
Space Cyborg Cowboy? Your are the Shrouds new best friend! They are also the only ones who can help Boothill keep up his maintenance.
Ortho is begging his brother to make him a gear like Mr. Boothill's. Please big brother? 🥺
Everyone is surprised that Boothill doesn't swear. There's a bit of a contest between NRC students to see who can get him to swear.
He and Rook have shooting matches from time to time. Guns vs Bows.
He's also part of the Equestrian Club, and he's surprisingly really good at it.
why yes i am pushing my robinxboothillxargenti agenda, why do you ask? these three are a trio do not separate

2nd Ramshackle student intro - Javelynnta Biscia Pantalone
>basic info<
Name: Javelynnta Biscia Pantalone
Age: 19
Sex: Trans female
Species: Anomaly
Birthday: 3 November (scorpio)
Homeland: Post-apocalyptic Earth*
>school info<
Dorm: Ramshackle
Grade: 1st year
Class: A
Club: Equestrian club
Best subject: Maths
Worst subject: History
Javely is really talented when it comes to technical stuff and since she was an IT college student in her world she's good with most things that the NRC teaches except the history of the world she got in. She was taught how tangible the past becomes when taught by different people, so she doesn't believe it's really worth knowing your history as you will never really learn the truth. Then, she joined the Equestrian club because she likes animals and wants to spend time with horses rather than doing anything else.
>appearance<
Height: 180 cm
Weight: 70 kg
Body type: Mesomorph
Hair colour: Light ash blonde
Eye color: Pastel light blue
Javelynnta is a pretty tall woman with an athletic body. She has fair skin, long light ash blonde hair with several pastel light blue layers and pastel light blue eyes with serpent like pointy iris. She usually ties her blue hair in ring shaped tails on top of her head and leaves the rest of her hair loose, but in her dorm uniform she wears it in Sailor moon style buns with tails. She can always be seen with bright makeup. Javelynnta also has a sea serpent tattoo on her right shoulder and a nose piercing. She always wears her favourite ribbon earrings.
>personality<
Temperament: Choleric
MBTI: ENTJ
Alignment: Lawful neutral
Javelynnta is a loud and flamboyant girl. She is a little too prideful, overly confident to the point of being cocky, so laughably decisive, and absolutely shameless. She thinks highly only of herself and tends to look down on others, especially humans. She can be insufferable with her childlike attitude and her being used to be treated like a queen and spoiled to no end. She always acts like she's the main character, like she's the most beautiful, smart, talented, like she's the rarest brightest gem that you have ever seen, and she probably would be right in terms of how unique she is. She is annoying, and she knows that.
With others she can be bossy and neglectful, often disregarding the opinions she doesn't like. However, once you get closer to her or treat her really nicely, she will get chiller and sweeter. She can be caring and loving, but in a rather aggressive, assertive and rough manner. She doesn't mean anything bad she just really wants to show that she actually cares and likes the person. For example, if she knows someone she considers her friend is hungry, she will bring lots of food and literally shove it to person until she sees that they ate enough. Her love languages are acts of service and physical touch, so she can also be a bit too much into skinship.
In dangerous situations, Javely gets really riled up and usually takes the leader's position unless she knows there's someone better for that position at the moment. She's strong and smart, so she rarely worries, she sees anxiety as inferior and pathetic state so she tries her best not to succumb to it and rationalizes everything in order to get more confident in herself and others. She's the brains and the brown of the team. She likes to fight.
She loves exploring the world of Twisted Wonderland and steps into the unknown and dangerous world confidently and happily. She likes to compare her world and this magical dimension. Javely doesn't easily make friends here, and yet she never feels like an outsider. With her cheery, confident and rational attitude towards everything she sets out on a journey.
>trivia<
Nicknames: Lobster-chan(Floyd), Yana(Yuri), Mademoiselle bruyante(Rook), Child of the unknown(Malleus)
Sexuality: Pansexual
Dominant hand: Right
Favourite food: Anything with seafood
Least favourite food: Raw meat
Talent: Programming
Hobby: Makeup
Likes: Technical sciences, shoujo content, herself, pretty boys
Dislikes: Racism, unreliable sources, fire, acne
Pet peeves: unverified practices
Javelynnta came to this world at the end of Riddle's OB. She was found during the cleanup after the incident in the rose maze rolled up in a blanket, covered in ash and blood. The headmaster allowed her to stay because she was too dazed and wounded to be kicked out in the wild, and because Yuri took pity on her.
Her actual name is Biscia, but it's not as cool as Javelynnta(that she made up, by the way), so she always puts it as her second name.
She was raised by her great great grandfather after her mother left her because she didn't want to take responsibility.
She is an anomaly, which means she just looks human, but is actually a cryptid. The main differences about her are her serpent like eyes that work like that of a night hunting snake, so she wears special lenses to see at day clearly. She is stronger and more resilient than a normal human. She also has a special ability that she calls “Suspiria”. It's like an innate talent that her body posses. It allows her to increase the efficiency of anything she touches tenfold. To deactivate it, she needs to touch the object or subject again, and she can only use it on one thing at a time. For example, if she touches the charger, it will charge things 10 times faster. She used it up on herself when she was a child, so she has randomly boosted body parts, like her extra long hair that would've never grown that long and strong without it.
She actually has a female body, that however changes back to male one at every full moon. Her temper completely changes at that time, and she always hides away during these periods and calls that her “grand periods” on top of normal ones.
Javelynnta made a contract with a God of Body and did something unspeakable to get herself a female body, as she couldn't transition in a normal way in fear of being found out as an anomaly. She fulfilled the condition, but it was broken off after some time, so the contract was considered underfulfilled, the God however was kind enough to leave her with what she asked for but with a condition.
She has a pet sea serpent. The actual mythical beast, not a snake. It can shrink in size to that of a normal snake. It's a girl and her name is “Amica”. Javely always carries her around and in fights lets her rampage.
Her japanese VA would be Nana Mizuki(Nagao Kagetora FGO).
If she was from the modern world, she would be Italian. As she is, she's from the country based on Italy and speaks Italian.
She always wears 10 cm heels. So her standing height is 190 cm. She's a giant lmao. *that is just my verse. Yep, she comes from the world that I created. In this world humanity reached the point of nuclear war and destroyed itself but some part of it escaped into the space and as soon as the radiation dispelled enough some humans were taken back to the planet to rebuild the population and test if it's even safe to live there. However, strange occurrences start to happen with strange things sometimes of supernatural origin start to appear and referred to as "anomalies" and considered dangerous.

i wanna know more about your ramshackle boys.
So I got this ask a while back but I was dissatisfied with any work I put into drawing the boys. Anywho here’s that info, anon!
Mikael Hatch: Third year transfer from pomefore and vice house-warden. Obvious inspiration from Constance Hatchaway and one of her grooms Michael from the 50th anniversary celebration. I still have trouble really nailing his outwardly warm facade. Not shown here, but included in the card I made earlier, he also wears the five pearl necklaces, but I am debating on a change to better suit his character and activities.
Claude Gracey: I based him off the scrapped raven ghost host concept, and a friend of mine suggested the name based on an imagineer who worked on the haunted mansion. To stick with the bird theme I gave him a falconer glove in the dorm uniform card design (still in work). I wanted him to slouch to look more like a peering raven.
Addison Leer: the hatbox ghost has a nickname listed as king leer, which is where the last name came from, but Addi sounds like Hattie and I thought it suits him. I also took some inspiration from the story of the girl with the green ribbon to nail in the headless aspect. He is the only one I have not made a card for yet. At first it was the design itself that stumped me, but then it became a matter of setting, activity, and perspective. I am working on him :(
Leonidas Graves: my favorite absolutely. Madame Leota Toombs as the basis, he has some funky hair and a crystal ball. My sibling actually is the reason I came up with the ghostly instruments skater chain I gave leonidas. I wanted him to be more of a rebellious figure, where Leota is a powerful woman who just happened to get her own curse turned on her, trapping her in the crystal ball, leonidas uses his crystal ball and a bag of marbles to see beyond.

TWISTED WONDERLAND
NATSUME DROPLIGHT (ref. to sundrop flower from tangled)
ramshackle dorm leader, 1st year
dominant hand : right homeland : ? club : gargoyle studies club best subject : astrology hobbies : art pet peeves : grim talking in his sleep favorite food : macarons least favorite food : pumpkin soup talent : quick to pick up skills friends : 1st year gang, kalim al-asim, silver vanrouge, malleus draconia, cater diamond, ruggie bucchi neutral : vil schoenheit, rook hunt, floyd leech (she’s scared of them), trey clover, jamil viper, idia shroud, leona kingscholar
her favorite vest is yellow but she had to give up wearing it because she was mistaken as a savanaclaw resident. mostly wears greyscale clothes now (partly due to ramshackle aesthetic), but she puts red ribbons in her hair since heartslabyul is like her 3rd home.
has a new bandage like every other day. ramshackle is a health hazard (curse you crowley. fix the damn staircase already).
she's on relatively good terms with everyone important, except floyd. the moment she glimpses him in a crowd she's GONE with the wind.
HEARTDROPS !! ace trappola x natsume droplight
#HEARTSHACKLE for life!! (deuce is third wheeling.)
everyone knew it was gonna happen eventually, but nobody knows how exactly it did (natsume asked ace out with a corny pick up line and he doesn't want anyone to know it worked)
nothing really changed between them, except the small sprinkle of additional pda (hand holding ew!!!!! - ace). they still relentlessly bully each other cause it’s fun.
deep down though, ace sometimes worries whether his jabs hurt more than she shows (he’s aware he can be an asshole, but hurting her is the last thing he would ever want to do).
he’s also terrified of the day she gets the chance to leave twisted wonderland. he knows this is not her real home and that she probably misses her family and friends, but he likes to think he and their friends are also essentially like family to her now– he likes to think she belongs here, with him (he doesn’t know she has no plans to leave).
movie nights every saturday, and 1st year game nights on fridays
though natsume constantly complains about them getting her in trouble with crowley, she would not trade their stupid asses for anything in the world.
very common date activity is dancing in ramshackle to songs from her homeland, or stargazing on the roof (ace fell off one time and he has not let her live it down since).
rarely will you find one without the other being somewhere nearby. it's an eyesore. they are banned from most public spaces.
ace offers to be her human canvas out of boredom sometimes and thoroughly enjoys the feeling of the cold paints on his skin, though he will never admit it aloud. when she gives him a painting or sketch of him as a gift he puts it in a hidden box under his bed. he faithfully collects them all to look back on when they're older. he swears up and down every new one he gets is better than the last one. he just loves being her muse
BACKSTORY !!
back at her original world, natsume was a pretty normal kid growing up. divorced parents with shared custody, a couple friends, some after school clubs and niche interests. average teen life basically
on a lovely friday morning, she had a nasty argument with her mother, and her already sour mood at the prospect of having to go to her fathers house later soured even further. she had a surprise math exam and her friends kept throwing jabs at her throughout the day.
safe to say, she’s had enough. after school she immediately rushed home without saying bye to her friends.
she tried to rush home anyway, but then a medieval looking carriage hit her and some magic dark mirror spoke at her. she honestly thought she was dead, but, nope, somehow even worse. some crazy dimensional travel occured and she found herself in the magical land of twisted wonderland. booyah!
ace, deuce and grim being her first friends in this crazed dimension was truly a blessing. despite grim being a talking cat and the other 2 being complete idiots, they were still somehow the most normal beings she's had the fortune to meet.
and, somehow, somewhere along the way, she found her eyes lingering on ace a tad longer than they normally should. found herself thinking about him more than it was socially acceptable between friends.
what joy. if she were alice she could never return now, for love is the strongest magic of all, or however the saying goes. be as it may, she stopped planning her return home long ago. perhaps staying here wouldn't be too bad, after all.

As the Archeron sisters join Prythian’s Fantasia and head for the World’s Fair in Paris, they begin to realize the circus’s magic runs far deeper than its enchanting nightly performances.

***Nesta***
Nesta was scritch-scratching her way through the pile of correspondence in the parlor when the front door snicked shut. Blazing irritation ruined Nesta’s train of thought. Where the hell was her damn sister going?
Sure enough, Feyre’s cloaked form had just turned the corner down the street. Nesta ground her teeth, frustration fueling her quick steps into a light jog. She’d turned a blind eye to Feyre’s excursions long enough. As the eldest child, it was her responsibility to keep her sisters out of trouble. But Nesta hated running. Especially in such a layered skirt and dainty little shoes.
“You, there. I’ll pay you five shillings if you follow that girl in the black dress down the street.” Nesta announced to a boy who happened to be driving an empty wagon past her. He could not be any older than fourteen, based on his short stature and pimple-covered face. But he nodded, even cowing slightly as Nesta hopped into the grimy wagon. “Be discreet. If she catches us, you’ll only get two.”
The janky wagon rumbled and squelched over cobblestone and mud. The boy maintained a careful distance as they moved past soot-darkened gray buildings, ramshackle apartments, squalid beggars, and over the Thames River. They followed Feyre for a good half hour before she disappeared into thin air.
“Where did she go?” The boy stopped, his confusion mirroring Nesta’s. Nesta, who had been keeping a close eye on Feyre the entire time, was at a loss for words. Feyre’s honey-brown hair was easy to spot, even amongst the throng of Londoners. She was even wearing a knitted cream shawl that made her stand out in the gray. But they had traveled far enough that Nesta was certain where Feyre was headed.
The Prythian’s Fantasia tent rose tall and proud about a half mile away. The lines and colors were sharper in daylight, but the structure still evoked memories of that magical night. Nesta had not been able to stop thinking about how circus dancers pranced and spun across the ring, seductively contorting their bodies mid-air with silken ribbons. She would make the rest of the way by foot; Nesta plunked down the five shillings into the wagon before hopping out.
The circus gate was shut and the grounds were silent, which had Nesta wondering for a moment if she had guessed incorrectly. It seemed dead as a graveyard. But there it was…that faint jingle of music. Lilting notes and clear tones sweetened the air, beckoning her in. Nesta walked along the massive perimeter, following the music. She eventually reached the performers’ camp just behind the main circus.
Sure enough, her sister was idling at the camp’s edge, wringing her hands and pacing anxiously as if she was working up the nerve to enter. A gold-painted sign propped next to the small entrance read: Prospective performers, seek Amarantha.
“Feyre,” Nesta called out firmly.
Feyre jumped, her blue-gray eyes widening in surprise. “Nesta!” Her expression pinched with sudden nervousness. “What are you doing here? Have you been following me?”
“I should ask the same thing about yourself. Not thinking of running away to the circus, are you?” Nesta replied dryly.
“I’m not running away…I simply must speak with the ringmaster.” Nesta groaned in frustration when Feyre strode away. Whatever business Feyre had with Amarantha, Nesta was not going to wait around for her sister to come back out.
During the day, the circus performers were unrecognizable in regular garb, with women in plain linen dresses and men in standard brown pants and shirts. Nesta clearly stuck out, with her pale blue dress and embroidered silk slippers. Even Feyre looked more proper than usual, with her freshly cleaned lilac dress and carefully braided hair.
Colored caravans were interspersed between medium-sized tents and practice rings. The performers barely paid Nesta and Feyre any attention as they navigated down the crunchy dry grass and towards the large plum tent with the words “ringmaster’s office” scripted on a hanging placard.
A tall, muscular man stood under the tent’s awning, and Nesta gawked at him openly. He was not like the sniveling, pale, weak-boned aristocrats of London society. Nor was he like one of those bumbling country boys who were all brawn but no brain. His golden eyes were like a hawk’s: sharp, intelligent, and…beautiful. Was he a circus performer, or personal protection? Nesta could not recall having seen him in the show, for she would certainly remember a man like him.
“What’s your business here?” he asked with a half grin, in a deep voice that sounded like a song. Nesta clenched her jaw, trying to keep herself from getting carried away.
“We request an audience with Amarantha,” Feyre responded. The man’s crossed arms stretched and creased his gray shirt along defined muscles. Nesta’s eyes were fixated on the triangle of ruddy brown skin, like that of sailors who spent their days out in the open seas, peeking through the unbuttoned top of his shirt.
“What is the nature of your audience?”
“I seek her aid for our ailing mother.” Nesta blinked in surprise. Running to a circus ringmaster for healing? Feyre must have lost her mind.
The man’s hazel eyes snapped towards Nesta’s face, picking her steely facade apart and assessing every hidden, dark thought. She could have sworn his pupils widened with subtle desire. His chiseled face was rugged, as if a sculptor had failed to smooth down a marble statue before presenting their work to an art exhibit.
“You shouldn’t be here.” His attitude had changed, and it stung, for some reason.
“I don’t see why not?” Nesta blurted out. “You are not the ringmaster.” The man scoffed at her now, his lip twitching in condescension.
“What you seek would not benefit you in the slightest.” Normally, Nesta would have wholeheartedly used the barring of entry as an excuse to drag Feyre away. But his self-righteous and dismissive attitude riled her.
“Cassian,” a strong, female voice called from the interior of the tent. “Do we have guests outside? Do let them in.”
So that was his name. Cassian.
“Seems you do not have the final word around here.” Nesta allowed her lips to twitch in a simpering smirk as she walked past Cassian, who had gone rigid with fury, most likely. She could not banish the memory of his intense hazel eyes, which were surely pinned on her back like a target as she slipped into the ringmaster’s tent.
***Feyre***
It was surprisingly dim inside the tent, and the air clung to Feyre’s cheeks like a damp fog. Ringmaster Amarantha sat in a large velvet chair, reading a book and sipping from a goblet of wine. She’d exchanged her bodice and breeches for a deep purple gown that made her alabaster skin appear bloodless.
“Good afternoon,” Amarantha purred with a saccharine smile. “What brings such lovely ladies to my domain today?” It seemed the ringmaster’s charisma was not limited to the stage. Feyre took a step forward, dipping her head in a slight bow.
“Good afternoon, ringmaster. I heard you possess…magic. And I’ve come to humbly request your assistance. My mother has been gravely ill for months.” The Archeron family’s fate hung upon Amarantha’s answer.
“My assistance does not come without a price. Tell me, dear, what is your name?” Amarantha tossed her thick, crimson hair behind a shoulder.
“Feyre Archeron.” Confidence—keeping her voice steady—was crucial.
“And yours?” Amarantha’s dark gaze swiveled to Nesta, who did not balk at the sheer weight of the ringmaster’s stare.
“Nesta. Nesta Archeron,” she replied. “I’m Feyre’s older sister.” Amarantha hummed in approval. She closed her eyes, tapping her fingers together in contemplation.
“Feyre Archeron, I do not desire money or riches as a form of payment. I will provide a healing potion for your mother, as long as you agree to half a year of service with my circus: Prythian’s Fantasia.”
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. But Nesta pinched Feyre’s arm hard before she could speak.
“Please excuse us for a moment,” Nesta said roughly. Amarantha waved her hand flippantly, returning to her book. Nesta dragged Feyre to the side. “Have you lost your mind, Feyre?” she hissed lowly. “Join a circus? For some crackpot potion, when Mother is already on her way out this world?”
Feyre’s blue eyes flashed angrily.
“I need to try, Nesta,” she argued back. “I know that you are not fond of Mother. But imagine what Father will endure if she dies. And think about Elain! You may not want to get married, but are you willing to be her chaperone next year? Be my chaperone for another season?”
“The ringmaster didn’t even inquire about Mother’s condition. How would her ‘potion’ be any useful cure?” Nesta asked, a little more loudly.
“Magic,” Amarantha called out lazily. “Six months of service seems sufficient in exchange for a potion that acts as a general restorative for any ailment, don’t you think?”
“Magic does not exist. Healing potions do not exist,” Nesta rationalized. “You’re being foolish, Feyre. Save yourself from the embarrassment.”
“Magic does exist. I know it,” Feyre shot back, her voice a harsh whisper. She turned back to Amarantha. “My mother’s condition is too dire to wait six months. What if she passes before my term of service is completed?”
Amarantha’s mouth curled in a wry grin. “You do drive a hard bargain, my dear. I will award you the potion after two months of service, but you must finish the six months with me before you are free to leave.”
“This is a traveling circus, is it not? Where do you plan to go?” Feyre asked.
“We will be making a touring loop around England before heading to Paris in May for the World’s Fair,” Amarantha responded. “Our stops will be in the main cities of Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Cambridge, and Southend-on-Sea.”
Feyre chewed her lip. Her answer was still ‘yes’ but would two months be soon enough?
“One month of service,” Nesta declared suddenly. Feyre stared at her older sister in confusion. “I will take part in the bargain, as long as you give us the ‘potion’ after one month of service.”
Amarantha’s dark eyes gleamed with feral delight. “Very well, then. Come closer, ladies. All I need is a few droplets of your blood.”
“For what?” Nesta blanched.
“The potion, of course.” Nesta and Feyre stepped closer to Amarantha, who produced a sharp needle. Amarantha grasped Feyre’s hand, her slender fingers icy cold and unusually strong.
“A bargain: one healing potion, to be given after a month of work, in exchange for six months of Feyre Archeron’s work in Prythian’s Fantasia,” Amarantha intoned.
Feyre watched with fascination as crimson welled from her index finger and dripped into a small glass vial. A prickling sensation raced from her fingertip to her elbow. Amarantha did the same for Nesta, handing them both linen bandages once she was done. The ringmaster pocketed the glass vial and smiled demurely at them.
“Thank you, ladies. Prythian’s Fantasia departs for Bristol on Friday morning. I shall see both of you here no later than eleven o’clock.”
“What will our roles be?” Feyre blurted out. Amarantha assessed them critically.
“Feyre, our magician is in need of an assistant, especially for the World’s Fair. You shall work closely with him on his acts. Nesta, I see you have a dancer’s grace. You shall participate in our aerial silks act.”
“Thank you.” Feyre smiled, feeling incandescent. Everything was lining into place: she would save her mother, go on an adventure, and become closer with the handsome magician. The magician! Perhaps by working with him, she could also find answers about her magic.
She was so caught up in her joy that she barely noticed a glowering Cassian as they exited Amarantha’s tent. She was going to join the circus! Feyre’s finger throbbed with residual pain, proof that this was truly happening. “You didn’t have to strike a bargain with Amarantha,” she pointed out. “So why did you?”
Nesta seemed lost in a similar wishful daze. “It’s a ticket to Manchester. The beating heart of the suffragist movement. I also couldn’t let you do such a foolish thing alone.” She gave Feyre a dubious glance.
Feyre froze. “Oh, damn us,” she gasped, glancing at Nesta with wide eyes. “What are we going to say to Elain?”
***Gwyn***
Tears rolled down Gwyneth Berdara’s cheeks at the memory of her twin sister Catrin’s joyful face and pealing laugh. How many more times could she draw upon her recollections before they faded away? Catrin’s silver wedding ring hung on a chain around Gwyn’s neck, was the only physical part of her sister she had left—and served as a reminder of all that was lost.
Her heart hurt, but at least she wasn’t in physical pain anymore. Gwyn squeezed her eyes shut and sobbed, pushing away the memories of the cursed brothel. The rank smells, the raucous laughter of drunkards. The clinking of coins before they began. The leering men who did not bother with “making love” to women.
From what Catrin told her, intercourse was supposed to be a blissful and exciting experience. But Gwyn only knew pain. Pain from the bruises, the pulling of her coppery-brown hair, the chafing of skin between her legs.
There was also a specific memory of warm, wet blood and the sounds of screams in the dark. And a fast-cooling body.
Gwyn wiped her teary face and allowed herself one last sniffle before getting up from her cot. At least the bruises on her arms and waist had faded after a week with Prythian’s Fantasia. She’d sought the help of Thesan, the circus physician, who gave her contraceptive tonics without any judgment.
The caravan she shared with Emerie, Nuala, and Cerridwen was packed to the brim. Small windows ventilated the space, a small copper tub was shoved in the corner, and clothes and books were strewn across all available surfaces.
Gwyn was on kitchen duty today. The center of the camp served as the main area for meals and congregating, with food prepared in the open air. Tarquin and Daphne Vanserra were already there, baking bread in the clay oven and handling the wheels of cheese.
“The vegetables are already washed,” Tarquin said, pointing to the crates of leafy greens, carrots, and potatoes. Tarquin cut a striking figure, with his turquoise eyes and long white hair contrasting with his dark brown skin. She’d only known him for a week, but his gentle smiles and thoughtful nature had put Gwyn at ease with her new surroundings.
Gwyn picked up a sharp knife and began dicing the vegetables, placing the smaller pieces into large wooden bowls for stew. She was so engrossed with her cutting that when a man silently stepped up next to her, Gwyn jumped with fright. But it was only the dagger-thrower, here to assist with meal preparation.
He was the same height as her, with a slightly muscled build. Inky black hair curled around the nape of his neck and fell in front of his angular hazel eyes, which softened slightly at her reaction.
“Apologies,” he muttered, his voice low.
“It’s alright,” Gwyn responded quickly. “My name is Gwyn. Pleased to make your acquaintance.” She smiled broadly at him.
“You’ve been crying, haven’t you?” Gwyn stiffened, her smile slipping away.
“Azriel, don’t you know it’s rude to say such things to a lady?” Daphne tutted at the dagger-thrower.
“Apologies,” Azriel said again. He picked up a knife and began expertly fileting the skin and bone off a slab of meat. Gwyn stared: pale scars streaked across his olive-toned hands. They moved with deadly precision. Smears of blood had begun to coat the tips of his fingers…Azriel met her gaze with a sharp look that had Gwyn glancing away with embarrassment. “You’re new, aren’t you?”
“Yes!” Gwyn replied. “I joined the circus right when it arrived in London.”
“Why?” His words were short, and to the point.
Catrin’s lifeless face, with sunken-in cheeks and chapped lips flashed before her. That horrible smell…those awful hands grabbing her, hurting her…Gwyn shrugged nonchalantly.
“I needed to make some money. When did you join the circus?” Azriel’s brows lifted slightly at her returning question.
“Almost five years,” he replied. The dagger-thrower did not offer any more words of conversation after that. Daphne and Tarquin chatted in the background, but between Azriel and Gwyn, there was only silence. Gwyn’s eyes began watering again when she started on the onions. Before she could reach for a second onion, Azriel wordlessly took the whole crate away.
“Thank you. I suppose I’ve cried enough for today,” Gwyn murmured. She snuck a glance at the dagger-thrower, and was disappointed to see his face stone-cold at her attempt to jest.

YUU-SONA/ YUKI-SONA SKETCH DUMP 02
MORE OBEY ME x TWST FeMC CONCEPT ART. FeMC 's name is Yuki.
I like to draw the uniforms for some reason.I colored the clothes nicely but not the hair and eyes cuz coloring with layers and shadows is tedious for me.
Disclaimer: I tend to lose motivation doing full bodies, complex poses and full on shading.
A. NRC Uniform: 1. Grim's Ribbon Without an official band and badge like the rest of the seven dorms, Yuki made a ribbon similar to Grim to classify themselves as part of Ramshackle House. She bought or asked Sam the fabric pattern that is closely similar to Grim's. Having been enrolled in an all boys school, Yuki was given a uniform that is very big for her. Crowley must have forgotten to alter the right size using magic.
2. Hints of Royal Academy of Diavolo She was wearing RAD's uniform at the time when she woke up in the floating coffin during the orientation so she improvised, wearing RAD's undershirt and belt to at least look decent. If you asked, why not sew or clip it on the back to make it look fitted or asked someone to magically alter it for her... her defense...upon seeing Vil's black undershirt and Ruggie's rolled up sleeves and pants or Jamil's jacket under his school coat and etc. she realized maybe... the school isn't that strict with uniforms. B. RAD's Uniform:
Horn Accessory
Being a human representative at RAD, every demon probably wants to have her as a meal. Hence, she always have those croissant-shaped horns as disguise to make herself look like a demon.
The horns also have some magic essence to fend off hungry demons.
2. White Ribbon
A magical item given by Lucifer along with her DDD upon arriving at the Devildom. It changes color if she ever wanted to call one of her pact demons. Multiple colors can appear depending on which demon she called in her DDD or in general.
3. Bell Pin
Yuki have two bells in possession. One from Lucifer when she arrived at the Devildom as an exchange student for the first time and the other one is from Satan when he and Yuki reunite in Twisted Wonderland after Riddle's overblot.
Satan gave it to her so that Yuki can still use summoning magic in times of need since she lost her magic abilities when she arrived at Twisted Wonderland.
Janitor Arc Prologue
What's underneath that thick leather RAD coat lolol...I swear seeing the uniform looks so hot (in terms of heat lol)) to wear.
Yuki has no extra casual clothes when she arrived in Twisted Wonderland and being in a world with an actual sun and the fact she was hired as the janitor by Crowley, she got no choice but to roll up her sleeves and clean.
She had that red scar thingie from RAD's uniform to be used to tie her hair since she be cleaning.
This can be her casual clothes at her first few days in NRC.
CASUAL CLOTHES IN THE DEVILDOM
The Devildom is a cold place so she always wear long sleeves and skirt. Didn't draw it but she also had her boots and black leggings
Witch Hat
Yuki owns a blue witch hat when she took a part time job in Akuber.
Solomon's Coat //gasp
Solomon gave one of his extra coats and insisted that it's a uniform to symbolize that they're student and mentor even though they're both exchange students in the Devildom.
Yuki would wear the coat during their study sessions and going outside. She doesn't mind matching clothes with Solomon despite the brothers' protests at first.
I also drew this cuz sheep mc is so cute and I'm surprised Grim is like 2'2... I wanted to draw Grim but I can't make him cute so need more practice behind the scenes lol

Yuuna (Yuu): Senses and Other Specific Headcanons.
what does your muse smell like ? Lavender and clean linen, being as Ramshackle doesn't have a washer or dryer utility Yuu ends up needing to hand wash all of her clothes along with Grim's little ribbon as well as their bedding. There isn't really a scent to the soap she uses to wash her clothing with, just leaving it with a clean scent. However when bathing herself she uses a lavender scented shampoo and conditioner combo with again a mostly unscented soap.
what do your muse’s hands feel like ? Soft, delicate and consistently warm; Yuu takes very good care of herself and the only time the feel of her hands change is after being scratched by Grim. At that point her one hand was rough while the wound healed.
what does your muse usually eat in a day ? Yuu doesn't really eat much; she'll shove a toasted piece of bread in her mouth in the morning, usually because thanks to Grim they're running late. Lunch tends to be an egg salad with garden greens or a tuna salad also with garden greens and she tends to get a couple portions worth of the lunch to also save for dinner later unless Grim and Yuu have a pre-planned dinner at mostro lounge in which she usually goes for the whatever Grim chooses for himself and picks off his plate.
does your muse have any bad habits or nervous ticks ? Yuu stutters a lot when nervous or in a precarious situation usually because her mind it working to figure out what to say and her words get jumbled in her brain coming out as a stuttering mess. She also has a habit of losing herself in her thoughts whether it be in reference to school, work or if she's dreaming about the great seven again. During those moments it is fairly obvious she isn't listening, which can of course be perceived as rude.
does your muse have a good singing voice ? Yuu has a fairly average singing voice, not spectacular by any means but not tone deaf. Every now and then you might catch her humming a tune from her own world but as for actually singing she needs to have quite a bit of trust in you to sing for you. This is because she's self-conscious about her own voice.
what does your muse usually look like/wear ? When she isn't wearing her school uniform or gym clothing she'll be sporting a NRC branded sweatshirt (one of the few things Crowley provided her with) and jeans combo during the colder months. During the warmer months she'll wear a plain whatever color she chose that day t-shirt with either a skirt of pair of shorts. Outside of school she only wears her gym shoes leaving the dress shoes for her uniform.
is your muse affectionate ? How so ? Yuu is the type that will offer kind words and an occasional hug for her friends providing them with a little affection but for a significant other she is very affectionate. Things such as combing through her s/o's hair, massages, giving frequent hugs and kisses and as many warming cuddles as the s/o may want are frequent things they would receive. Yuu is the type that definitely wants her s/o to be happy and comfortable as much as possible.
what position does your muse sleep in ? Primarily on her side with Grim curled next to her midsection; occasionally she will flop onto her stomach with her head turned to the side and her arms under her pillow. That however, tends to be when she's having one of her many strange dreams/nightmares.
could you hear your muse in the hallway from another room ? Only if she's yelling at her freshmen companions after trying to split up whatever fight they may have gotten into that day and her attempts to speak at a reasonable tone are ignored. Otherwise Yuu has a soft voice that can even border on hard to hear when in the same room as her.

Description
Serena is kind and easy to get along with. Among big groups or people she doesn’t know too well, she’s rather shy and quiet, often overwhelmed by the presence of the others. But among people she’s close to, she is way more open and enjoys cracking jokes. She dislikes fighting and avoids it at all costs, if she can’t avoid it the fight usually ends with her crying from anger. Most of the time, she can blend in very well and not be noticed by others. She will help the people around her in every way she can.
While she is a creative person and loves everything crafty from drawing and writing to building little models and crocheting, she has a very scientific mindset, which shows itself in her career choice and in how adept she is in chemistry and biology. She also thinks of magic as a type of science.

A Twisted Adventure (700 special ft the second years)
This is late but thank you for 700 followers!! You guys are the best :)
Summary: Who are the heros who can save Yuu's life? The second years, of course!
Note: platonic second years x Yuu/reader, crack, chaos, humor, and Grim breaking the fourth wall. Loosely based on the LEGO Disney Princess Castle Quest
Warning: fem Yuu/reader, not beta read, and possible ooc characters
Word Count: 5.6k
Masterlist: here
Hear me, whoever is out there. Send me your greatest heroes to grant my wish. My master's life is in their hands.
If there's one thing that went through the second year's minds right now, they understood how Yuu felt being transported to another world.
The second years groaned from their spots on the floor. They looked up to find themselves in a vast room. There were multiple bookshelves surrounding them and papers scattered on the floor. On the other side was a large dome that reminded the students of a coffin.
"Where are we?" Silver groaned. His eyes landed on a window that had a purple aura outside of it. The last thing he remembered was walking to class with Kalim, and now he was here.
"I have no idea." Jamil brushed the dust off of his school uniform and scanned the room. Floyd landed on top of Riddle; Jade was helping Azul stand up; Silver had a guarded position in front of Kalim, and Ruggie was fixing his hair next to Jamil.
"Finally, you've arrived! I have been waiting a long time for you all." A familiar voice called out. The group turned to see Grim walking into the room with a relieved look. He was wearing his ceremonial robes instead of his bow.
"What do you mean, Grim? I thought you were in Ramshackle?" The first in the group, Azul, asked while wiping the dust out of his school uniform. He recalled the cat monster sleeping there with the ADeuce duo.
"Ramshackle? What's that?" Grim tilted his head. "That's beside the point. My master was hit with a curse, and she won't wake up. Her magic seems to be weakening too, which also affects me as her familiar."
Riddle pushed Floyd off to the side and stepped towards Grim. "Did you use your magic to summon us here?"
"I did. I called for heroes, and it summoned you all."
"Hero, you say?" Jade's smile looked polite, but there was eerie about it. "We are far from that except for Kalim and Silver." His eyes turned to the duo.
"We would be happy to help!" Kalim exclaimed, but Jamil held him back.
"Oh no! We don't know anything about Grim's master."
"Let me show you." Grim ran towards the back of the room with the others trailing behind him. He stopped once he was in front of a glass coffin (that looked very familiar to Riddle, Azul, and Jamil) and opened it. Inside was a very familiar Prefect lying on a fluffy cushion. Instead of her NRC uniform, she wore a blue and yellow dress and had a red ribbon on her hair.
"Is that Yuu?" Ruggie asked as he placed his hand on the glass. He inspected Yuu's chest (not in a perverted way) to see if she was breathing. Luckily for everyone, she was. "But she does not have magic."
Grim jumped on Yuu's lap and looked at them questioningly. "What do you mean? Yuu always had magic. Anyways, are you all going to help out or what?"
"Is Shrimpy trying to do a Magicam challenge?" Floyd suddenly stood up, excitement in his eyes. "I've heard of one where you slap someone awake," Floyd said as he ran up to the coffin, pushed Ruggie aside, opened it, and grabbed Yuu. "Oi! Wake up, Shrimpy!" He yelled at her sleeping face while slapping both of her cheeks. Grim could only watch in horror.
"Stop hitting my human!"
Feeling the second-hand embarrassment, Riddle attempted to stop Floyd with Grim but was unable to.
"I don't think that's how it works, Floyd," Jade said while trying to hide a laugh after watching Riddle.
"Oh, I've heard of a situation like this!" Kalim jumped with joy. "I heard of a princess who slept in a forest, and a prince had to wake her up with a kiss! Does that mean we have to do that to Yuu?"
"Is that what I need? A princess to wake me up?" Silver muttered to himself. Meanwhile, Floyd stopped slapping Yuu, and his mood shifted.
"No thanks," Floyd said nonchalantly, letting go of Yuu. Her body fell down in a plop, and the ribbon on her head was askew,
"Floyd! Why did you do that? Don't you know how to respect women?" Riddle said through gritted teeth.
Floyd rolled his eyes. "Of course I do. Yuu is sleeping anyways, and her bed looks pretty soft to me." He pointed at Yuu's rhythmic breathing in her chest. "See, she is still alive."
Riddles's face turned red from anger. "That is not the point!"
"Look, people! Let's just try to find a way to go home." Ruggie held his magical pen out and pointed it to a door.
Nothing happened.
Ruggie swung his arm again. "What the heck?! Why aren't you working?" He kept swinging his arm around and yelling. “Bibbidi bobbidi boo!” No sparks were coming out of the pen.
"Maybe mine will work?" Silver walked up to Ruggie and mimicked him. "Ha!" He exclaimed, but nothing happened. "What is going on?" He brought his pen close to his face and examined it. "I thought you said that Yuu could do magic? Our pens should work if she does."
Grim shook his head. "Her magic is being used to protect this castle from outside threats." He pointed at the window that showed the purple aura. Silver looked out the window once more and looked more closely.
"We are in a dome?"
"Mhm, and magic is limited here. This dome is Yuu's Unique Magic, Fantasia. Because of that, you all are limited to what magic you can use."
"I see." Jade hummed as he held his chin in his hand. "If Ruggie's normal magic did not work, perhaps we need something like our Unique Magic?" He looked to Grim, who nodded.
"Great. Just great!" Floyd wailed and threw his arms up in the air.
Jamil only rolled his eyes. "Does waking up Yuu mean we can go home?"
Grim nodded, and Ruggie frowned.
"Hold up. I ain't doing this for free. We deserve an award!" Ruggie exclaimed, causing Riddle to side-eye him.
Grim felt a headache forming. "Fine, you humans. I have some great treasure lying here in this castle…"
Ruggie grinned and threw an arm over Jamil's shoulders. "Well, why didn't you say that earlier? We should help our dear friend out. For her safety, of course."
Azul pushed up his glasses and joined the duo. He had a gleam that screamed thaumarks in his eyes. "I agree. What do we need to help the angelfish?"
Grim excitedly jumped out of the coffin and ran towards a big map on the wall. "You need to gather three ingredients. A rainbow pearl from a cave in Coral Beach, a golden flower from the Haunted Forest, and a dragon's scale. Those ingredients can make the potion to wake Yuu up."
"I see." Jade walked up to the map to study it. He turned to Grim, "Where might the dragon scale be?"
Grim shrugged. "I don't know. I never found the location."
"Really?" Jade leaned down and smiled, which sent shivers down Grim's fur. "I think you might know it."
"Nya?!"
"Jade, that's enough." Riddle said sternly. He turned to address the others, unaware of the eerie smile Jade sent to Grim. "We need to find these items so we can go home."
Silver crossed his arms. "And how do we do that?"
"Three of us have been in a similar situation before." Riddle briefly made eye contact with Azul and Jamil. "We just need to split up to find the ingredients."
"But we don't know where the dragon scale is." Silver countered.
"I agree," Azul nodded and turned to Riddle. "As housewardens with experience in this situation, we should lead two groups instead. We know where two of them are. Let's find them first and then find the dragon scale after."
"I agree with Azul. Let's split up based on the locations. Jamil, Silver, and Ruggie, you all go to the Haunted Forest with me. I trust your magic will work in this area."
"No way am I leaving Kalim with them." Jamil protested and pointed at the Octotrio accusingly. "Who knows what they would do?"
Floyd suddenly perked up and joined the group. "I don't see what you should be worrying about Sea Snake. Sea Otter was fine with us before. Plus, his Unique Magic is suited for finding the pearl."
"I agree." Azul nodded with a smile on his face. "Kalim would be in good hands."
Jamil frowned, clearly not trusting Azul, and turned to Kalim, who only smiled.
"Everything will be fine, Jamil. Focus on working with the others."
"Fine, but if something happens, then let me know."
Grim clapped his paws, and they began to glow. "Good, now let's focus on saving my human. I will give you two a bracelet to wear. Break it so you can come back here." A purple and black bracelet appeared on Azul and Riddle's arms. The group was surrounded by blue light, transporting them to the next part of their quest.
Somewhere near a sunny tropical island, Jade, Floyd, and Kalim finally landed in the water.
"Ah, this water is so refreshing," Floyd sighed in his merform.
Jade nodded. "I agree. It feels like we're back home." He swam around the coral reef for good measure.
"Has anyone seen Azul?" Kalim asked, looking around. A very girly scream could be heard coming closer to them at that moment. A familiar silver-haired figure fell ungracefully into the water.
"I HAVE BEEN FALLING FOR 30 MINUTES!" Azul yelled, causing the others to snicker. "Don't laugh! It is embarrassing that you all look unscathed compared to me!"
"Couldn't be me," Floyd smirked.
Luckily for Azul, he had Kalim by his side.
"Look on the bright side, Azul. Now, all we have to do is find the pearl, and then we can go home."
Azul groaned. "My poor business is probably in flames by now."
Ding…ding…ding
"What is that?" Kalim asked, unaware of the looks on the other's faces.
"I know that sound."
"Man, it's been a while since I heard that."
"I have a strange feeling about this." Azul turned to find the once-sunny sky disappearing as the fog rolled in. The bell chimed louder, and a giant shadow appeared. The sound of people's voices grew louder by the second.
Floyd quickly grabbed Kalim. "We gotta hide Sea Otter." He said and dived down; Jade followed behind with Azul. The group hid behind some nearby coral to watch without being spotted.
"What is going on?" Kalim whispered; his eyes watched the ship dock, and a figure with a big hat walked out.
"Pirates," Azul replied. "People in the Coral Sea are not big about pirates themselves. I heard a former Queen met her tragic fate after accidentally running into some."
Jade nodded in agreement. "I heard she was valiantly trying to save her children, but she did not make it back."
"Pirates are not common now, so merpeople don't care about them anymore," Floyd added. "We prefer to explore their sunken ships instead."
"I see," Kalim replied. Suddenly, his eyes widen. He knew that gray and gold coat anywhere, having seen that once for Halloween. The smug look and the lion tail tied it all together. "No way! Why is Leona here?"
Azul glared at the beastman barking orders at his subordinates. In a typical Leona fashion, the crewmembers scattered across the island as Leona lazed around with a smirk on his face. Azul turned to the others.
"Everyone, we must move before Leona gets the pearl."
Floyd raised an eyebrow. "And how did you come to that conclusion?"
Azul gestured to the beastman. "Look at his face. That is a face you typically see on Ruggie. Yet, Leona has it here. I'm certain he is looking for the pearl as well."
"Probably to sell it!" Kalim's eyes widen.
Azul snapped his fingers. "Exactly, and I refuse to retrieve that pearl by buying it out of his hands. I have more priorities than falling for his scheme."
"And how are we going to find the pearl? It could be anywhere on that island." Jade asked with an inquisitive look.
Azul glanced at Kalim and smirked. "I have an idea. But first, we need to get to the other side of this island."
"We're here," Jade told Azul as the group entered from the other side. Kalim let go of Floyd, and the two walked up to shore.
The group headed inside the jungle. "We should be able to find the cave before Leona does. We just have to be sneaky about it."
"Maybe when we find it, Azul, we could camouflage and grab it," Kalim said aloud.
Jade shook his head. "Leona has a heightened sense of smell. He would be able to track Azul before we know it. Plus, Azul is not the fastest on land."
"I can hear you!" Azul hissed at the twin behind him.
Jade smiled innocently. "I know."
The group continued quietly navigating through the jungle until they reached a clearing. They saw a cave with a lake surrounding it. There was no one in sight, and it was eerily quiet.
Azul signaled to Jade with his hand and turned to the other two. "You two know what to do?"
Floyd rolled his eyes. "Duh, I was listening the whole time."
Azul sighed. "I want to cover our bases before we go. Remember what to do when you hear the signal."
"You got it," Kalim whispered. With that, the group went their separate ways. Floyd jumped into the lake, and Kalim hid in the foliage. Meanwhile, ade and Azul walked inside the cave.
"This cave seems small. I say we find the pearl and get out of here." ade said as he examined the interior. The cave was small enough for the two to stand side by side. It was dark, like the depths of the Coral Sea.
"I agree. It should not be long before we do." Azul replied.
The two continued their trek until they saw it. Not far from them was a clam about the size of a palm sitting on top of a rock. Although there were many clams nearby, the two knew that was the one they were looking for.
Azul picked up the clam and began to put it in his pocket, but he suddenly froze.
Jade chuckled. "I had a feeling this was too easy." He felt a sharp object hovering over him.
"Indeed." A familiar voice said. His sword pointed at Azul's throat. "Now, hand over the pearl before I turn you into sand."
"Why am I not surprised?" Azul glared at Leona. "You would use us to do the dirty work to get the treasure yourself. How ironic."
"You could run, but that would be pointless. My men are outside waiting for you, so you either hand me the pearl scotch free, or you and your friend die right here." He pushed the blade closer to Azul, enough to draw a drop of blood.
Azul chuckled. "You really cornered us…Alright." He put his hands up in surrender. "You win." He put his hand in his pocket and handed Leona a clam.
Leona eyed the clam suspiciously. "Open it."
Azul's eyes widen in shock. "What?! You don't trust me?" He sighed dramatically. Leona gave Azul an unimpressed look. "Fine, I'll do it, but you must move the sword away first." Leona pulled his sword back as Azul placed his hands on the shell and glanced at Jade. "NOW!"
Leona narrowed his eyes at Azul as a chirping sound resonated through the cave. He pushed his sword back at him.
"What did you do?!"
"Respite in the scalding sands, a neverending party. Dance! Sing! Oasis Maker!"
The small cave quickly filled with water, shocking Leona and his crew, but gave Azul and Jade the needed window. The eel kicked the sword off his enemy's hands and used the end to knock out the pirate. Jade quickly changed into his eel form and grabbed Azul as the water reached their shoulders.
"You want the pearl? Well, here you go!" Azul threw the clam towards Leona, who was treading through the water like a wet cat.
Azul and Jade swam out and met with the others, who were busy running away from their own pursuers.
"Try and catch me, losers!" Floyd laughed as he used his Unique Magic to deflect their attacks. Meanwhile, Kalim used his water to knock out some pirates.
"Let's get out of here!" Azul yelled, causing the other two to stop and make a run for it. The group did not stop until the Tweels were in their merforms carrying the others into the ocean.
Everyone knew that Jamil did not stand out in class. They did not expect him to scream the moment he "thought" he saw a spider.
"Jamil, everything is going to be okay," Silver said reassuringly as he attempted to comfort him.
Jamil let out a yelp when he felt something run across his arm. "No, it's not as long as we are stuck in this forest! Let's find the flower and go!"
"Maybe he should've gone with Kalim's group?" Ruggie asked, but Silver shook his head no.
"That would be bad too. Sebek once told me that if Jamil ever got stuck on a deserted island, he would want to leave because of the bugs."
Ruggie groaned. "Great! Just great! So we're stuck with him instead!"
"I am literally right next to you!"
Riddle felt a vein pop out of his forehead as Jamil screamed for the nth time. "JAMIL IF YOU SCREAM ONE MORE TIME, IT IS OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!"
Owwooooo
"What was that?" Jamil asked.
"It sounds very familiar…" Silver trailed off.
Everyone looked around cautiously except for Ruggie.
"That sounds like a wolf. Maybe it's Jack?"
A pack of three wolves that were smaller but more vicious than Jack jumped out of the bushes. They eyed the group suspiciously.
"You think they are nice like Jack?" Silver asked.
Grrrr…
"Definitely not!" Ruggie grabbed Silver's jacket and bolted in a random direction. "Everyone, run for it!"
Riddle panted as he leaned against a tree for support. The others rested on the ground to catch their breaths.
"Did we," huff, "lose them?" Jamil turned to where they ran from. The forest was quiet once again.
"I think so," Ruggie said, looking around the area.
"I hope so. I'm winded!" A soft voice added.
"Silver, you need to speak up."
"That wasn't me."
The boys froze, now alert, and scanned their surroundings.
"Who goes there?" Riddle commanded and held his pen like it was his scepter.
"Over here!" A skunk with honey-brown eyes waved his paw to get the group's attention. "Hi everyone! I'm Neige!"
Riddle blinked once. "Silver, please tell me you are the only one who heard the skunk talk."
"I heard it," Silver said, and Jamil nodded.
"I think everyone heard him, Riddle," Ruggie whispered.
Neige giggled (giggled for crying out loud!), "I overheard you are looking for the enchanted flower. If you want, I could lead you to it. This forest might be too confusing for tourists."
"Oh, we are far from tourists." Jamil scoffed quietly, and Riddle elbowed him.
"That would be wonderful. Now, is there any way we could avoid the wolves?"
Neige tilted his head. "The wolves? I have not met any wolves here. I usually spend time with my forest friends in an abandoned cottage." He smiled, and a bright aura formed around him.
The boys groaned.
"I don't mind making the skunk my meat shield then," Ruggie muttered, causing Jamil to snicker.
Neige was too unaware to notice. "Just follow me, and we can help your friend in no time!"
The small skunk leads the group through the forest. Luckily for everyone, they were moving fast enough to not let a spider crawl on Jamil (again). Neige eventually stopped moving when they got to a lake.
"There it is!" He pointed to the center, where a golden flower lay on a small piece of land.
"Well, that was easy," Ruggie chuckled.
"We should get the flower and head out of here," Jamil said and started discussing a plan with Riddle, unaware of a comically large spider coming down from a tree.
This was noticed by Silver. "Uhh.." His eyes watched as the spider crawled down from its web and landed on Jamil's shoulder.
Ruggie looked at Silver questioningly. "What are you-" His eyes widened when he saw what Silver was looking at. "Holy shi-"
"Shhhh," Silver quickly covered Ruggie's mouth with his hand. "We need to get it out before Jamil notices."
Ruggie pushed Silver's hand away. "Who's we?" he whispered. "You saw it first! You should get it!"
"Fine, but distract him and Riddle before either one notices."
"What are you two whispering about over there?" Riddle walked up to the two, a frown etched on his face. Meanwhile, Jamil only watched, unaware of the spider happily dancing on his shoulder. The sight would be hilarious anywhere else but where they currently are.
Both Ruggie and Silver let out an audible gulp. They prayed to the Great Seven that Jamil would not notice.
"Well?" Riddle asked, tapping his shoe against the dirt.
"Oh, they're just looking at that spider on your friend's shoulder. The one with the long hair," Neige smiled, causing Ruggie and Silver to glance at each other.
"What?!" Jamil looked to his left and saw the enormous spider grinning at him. "GET OFF OF ME!!!" He slapped his shoulders multiple times in hopes of getting it out. Meanwhile, Silver joined Jamil to stop him from hurting himself.
Riddle felt a vein pop out of his forehead. "THAT'S IT! NOW THE WHOLE FOREST KNOWS WHERE WE ARE BECAUSE OF A SPIDER!"
Grrrrr
Ruggie sighed. It looked like Jamil was one of many who let everyone know where they were.
The wolves came back, their eyes focused on each student. Riddle was not having it.
"OFF WITH YOUR-"
"Wait!" Silver put his body in front of Riddle's pen. "Let me handle the wolves. You and Jamil focus on getting the flower."
Silver ran up to the wolves. "I know we are in your territory, but my friends just need that flower over there." He explained calmly and pointed to the gold flower. "And we will be out of your way."
The biggest wolf, whose fur color reminded Silver of Vil's hair, looked at Silver suspiciously and growled again as a warning.
"Here, let me." Ruggie patted Silver's shoulder and walked to the giant wolf. Ruggie started using a mix of growls and barks, to which the wolf responded by doing the same. Minutes had passed when Ruggie turned his attention to Silver.
"This wolf said that he will allow us to take the flower as long as we leave after."
"Alright, Jamil, come with me." Riddle said and made his way into the lake. Jamil sighed, holding his pen out in a protective stance as Riddle carefully picked the flower.
The wolf's growl brought Silver and Ruggie's attention back to them.
"The wolf wants us to go now," Ruggie said, slowly backing away as the wolves advanced toward them. "Riddle!"
"On it!" Riddle threw his bracelet on the ground and stomped on it. Suddenly, a familiar light enveloped the group, causing the wolves to stop moving and Neige to jump away. Everyone felt light as they floated up until they disappeared with a poof, leaving no trace of them behind.
It was cold and eerie. It was far different from Yuu's warm and inviting castle.
Riddle felt exhausted as he sat up. His grey eyes scanned his surroundings. Instead of a castle, they were in an empty field surrounded by thorns. "Where are we?"
"Perhaps we came here after getting our ingredients?" Azul said, pushing up his glasses.
Jade rested his fist on his chin. "It seems like the bracelets brought us somewhere else."
"Maybe Grim brought us here?" Kalim asked, but Floyd shook his head.
"Can't be. Even Grim didn't know where the place was."
Jamil frowned. "But where are we supposed to get the scale from?"
Silver felt a familiar feeling in his chest. He could not explain it, but their area was ominous and filled with black thorns. The sky was dark, and the only light sources came from the multiple torches with green fire. It looked like Diasomnia, except there was no dorm in sight.
"Guys, where are we?" Ruggie asked; he felt his hair sticking up like he was a cat.
"This looks a lot like Diasomnia," Kalim said while examining the thorns. "Maybe we are in another part of the dorm?"
Silver shook his head. "No, I don't recognize this."
Stomp
Stomp
Azul's eyes widened, and he felt a chill down his spine. How hiding in his octopus pot would be more ideal than now. "What is that?" He turned to the Leech twins, who both looked startled.
Suddenly, a green fire headed towards the group, barely missing Kalim, or else he would be on fire (again). Loud stomps filled the room in a steady rhythm that grew louder by the second.
Stomp
STOMP
"Get ready!" Riddle pulled out his magical pen, and everyone huddled around each other. Their eyes trained on the fog, and a giant shadow emerged. The shadow grew bigger until it became draconic. A huge dragon with purple-black scales appeared. Its green eyes focused on the group like it looked at its next meal. Everyone had a mix of fear and alertness on their faces.
All except one.
"Wait, I know this dragon," Silver broke formation and started walking towards the dragon.
Jamil grabbed his wrist before he took a step. "Silver, are you crazy? You could get killed by that thing!"
"I know what I am doing. Trust me." Jamil let Silver go, and everyone watched him slowly walk to the dragon. Silver remained neutral as the dragon stopped and looked down at him. "Your Highness. It has been so long since I've seen you. I hope that you are doing well."
Everyone's jaw dropped.
"No-"
"Way."
"Wait, so you're saying that dragon is Umiushi?!"
"How interesting."
Malleus ignored the group. "You are not Lilia, yet you remind me of him. Why is that?"
Silver briefly glanced at the group before answering. "Lilia is my mentor."
"A human? Please. What do you want from me?"
Silver's expression remained neutral, already familiar with the term. "My friend is cursed with a sleeping spell, and we need one of your scales to help wake her up."
Malleus frowned. "Why should I give one to you? A mere human." He said with disgust.
"But Lilia is my-"
"Lilia is not here to defend you." Malleus cut him off, causing someone, probably Kalim, to gasp behind them. "Why should I hand my scale to you?"
"You'll see," Silver turned around and returned to his friends. "Azul, I need to make a contract with you."
Azul blinked, clearly taken aback. "Of course. What's in it for me?"
"I promise to work at Mostro Lounge for the next month if you can conjure a Gao-Gao Drakon-kun with your contract."
"Aren't those things for little kids? Would Malleus like that?" Ruggie piped up and glanced at the waiting dragon.
Riddle shook his head. "Deuce once fixed Malleus' before. Malleus was so grateful that he gave Deuce a rare ore found only in Briar Valley."
Both Ruggie and Azul's eyes widen. "A rare ore, you say?" Azul snapped his fingers, and a bright golden contract and a fishbone pen appeared. "Just sign here and help our friend in need." He smirked with a gleam in his eyes.
Once the contract was signed, the contract disappeared, and a small purple and black device appeared. Malleus watched with a curious gaze as Silver returned.
"What is that?" Malleus' eyes glowed in interest.
“This is Gao Gao Drakon-kun. It is a virtual pet that you take care of."
Malleus eyed the device with curiosity. "Give it to me, human."
"Not until you give me the scale, then we can trade."
"Very well." Malleus plucked a scale off his body and transformed back to the familiar form the second years were used to. He looked exactly the same, except he wore a long black robe with purple lining the inside. He held out the scale for Silver and examined the new device. "How does this work?"
"You press this button to turn it on." Silver explained. Meanwhile, the rest of the second years moved closer but remained cautious in case Malleus transformed again. "It can help keep you company until Lilia returns."
"I see." Malleus looked at the group and smiled. He waved his hand, and a door appeared. "You wish to return to your friend, right? Use that door, and you will be with her."
Grim's face lit up as a bright door revealed the second years and the needed ingredients. The cat monster rushed to greet the group.
"You guys made it, and no one got hurt in the process!"
"Luckily," Riddle mumbled.
"Is it just me, or does this Grim remind me of those RSA guys?" Ruggie whispered, to which Kalim and Silver agreed.
Grim did not seem to notice Ruggie's remark. "You can drop the ingredients in there. It should take a few minutes for the potion to be ready," Grim said, pointing to a cauldron with an unknown liquid already boiling inside. Riddle, Silver, and Azul added their respective ingredients to the pot and turned to Grim with a pointed look.
"So where is the treasure you promised for helping Angelfish."
"That's right!" Grim beamed and ran off towards a curtain hanging on a wall. "How could I forget your gift for helping me."
Ruggie and Azul's eyes widen in anticipation. They could imagine the amount of gold and jewels they would receive and how much money they could make.
"Ta-da!"
Only for their faces to fall flat.
"THAT'S IT?" "WHAT?" Ruggie and Azul yelled out. "Where's the treasure?" They both turned to the cat monster.
"What do you mean?" Grim exclaimed. "The treasure is right there!" He pointed at the pile of tuna cans, causing Ruggie and Azul to tear up.
"Typical Grim," Kalim laughed. "Of course, he would give us a mountain of tuna."
Jamil and Riddle sighed and sat on the sofa. Of course, the greedy duo would think about money when the gift was from Grim.
"This is some premium tuna," Silver said as he inspected a can.
"Man, Baby Seal would go crazy if he had this in our world! Shrimpy would have money to spend on other things." Floyd laughed as he threw an arm around Azul. Meanwhile, his brother only patted Azul on his back as the octomer wailed with Ruggie.
Grim stared at the scene and then at the roof. "These guys are annoying. Why did the author put me in this role? Was the one with the horns or the model not available?" The cat monster sighed and looked to the sky. "What do you mean it is not their story yet?!" The unaware second-year's voices drowned out the one from above as she replied to Grim. Grim sighed and faced the group. "That's it, I'm tired of them." Grim's paws glowed again. "They can go back home. I'll eat this tuna with Yuu instead."
"AH!" The boys collectively screamed as they sat up. All eyes wandered around to see the familiar colors and furniture of the Scarabia common room.
"We're..back?" Silver asked, looking bewildered.
"At least we're away from the tuna," Azul sighed.
"It seems so," Jade said while brushing dust from his uniform.
"HA HA, YOU ALL LOOK RIDICULOUS!" Floyd laughed at everyone's current state. Riddle and Silver had a trail of dried-up drool on their mouths, Jade and Azul's hair was disheveled, and the Scarabia duo plus Ruggie had marks on their cheeks from the pillows they slept on.
Riddle turned as red as his beloved strawberry tarts as he wiped his face with his sleeve. "Shut it, or it is off with your head!"
"Oh, I'm so scared!" Floyd continued chuckling while clutching his stomach.
"Oh, there you guys are." A new voice, Yuu, called out, entering the common room while wearing the same dress as the other world Yuu. The second years froze. "I thought you guys were studying? I didn't know it was nap time." The guys just stared at her like she was a ghost. "What? Is there something on my face?"
"You are the actual Yuu?" Jamil asked with suspicion while eyeing her dress.
"And not another version?" Ruggie added.
Yuu rolled her eyes. "Of course, it is me, or else I could not tell the Three Musketeers here." She pointed at Riddle, Azul, and Kalim, respectively. "That Crowley wanted me to remind them about tomorrow's housewarden meeting." She glared at each of them before returning the way she came. "Now, if you will excuse me, I must get back to shooting Vil's movie before he sends Ortho to hunt me down. I want to get paid for being on time, people!"
The group watched Yuu pick up parts of her dress and walk off, unaware of the shocked look on their faces. They sat in silence to process and question everything until Azul stood up.
"Well, we had enough adventures for the evening. How about we all eat dinner at Mostro Lounge? Not for free, of course."
The boys sighed and agreed with Azul for once. It had been a very peculiar day. As the group left the dorm, Kalim could not stop thinking about something Yuu had said.
"If we are the Three Musketeers, Can I be the one that looks like a mouse?"
"Kalim!"
