🍈 - could i request oscar and "already barely holding it together as they're getting their hand held but then they feel that reassuring squeeze and they just can't" from the touch starved promp list?
happy 3k! you are so deserving and there is so much more to come 🫶
🍈 – send me a driver and a prompt from this list of hugging prompts, these touch starved prompts, or these kiss prompts, and i will write a short blurb for you!!
author's note: getting closer and closer to that 200 word mark!! 😭 anywaysss thank you so much and thank u for requesting, hope u enjoy <3 (idk why my queue doesnt work sometimes 💔 this was scheduled for like 4 hours ago 💔)
3k celly !!
oscar finds you sitting on the floor right outside of the exam hall, your head in your hands. any other day, the sight would make him laugh or want to tease you – but he knows that this isn't the time and place for that.
his heart sinks in his chest when he walks closer, taking in your slumped shoulders and the way your body sags even further when he hears you sigh. he knows that this exam is important for you, and he knows how easily you become stressed over schoolwork, but he never would've thought it would affect you this much.
"hey," he starts, leaning against the wall next to you before sliding down it and sitting down on your left side. "you're not crying, are you?"
"not yet..."
oscar's gentle touch on your skin sends a shiver through your body, one you hope he doesn't notice when his fingers gently pry your hands away from your face. your right hand drops to your side, but he doesn't stop at removing your left one from your face; he traces his index finger along the length of your own, before letting it slip in between your fingers and intertwining them with his.
it takes you a few moments to realize the fact that he's actually holding your hand, but when you do, your breath hitches in your throat. you had been nervous to look over at him even before, but now? no way you can muster that much courage.
"you're going to do well, you know," he says, and your heart practically melts at the soft aussie accent seeping through ever so slightly in his words. "you've studied so hard."
you merely shrug, squeezing your eyes shut in hopes of forgetting that oscar piastri is holding your goddamn hand for just one second so that you can let some helpful thoughts into your mind. it doesn't work, however, leaving you speechless yet again.
"go in there and crush it."
and then, there it is – the action that makes your knees weak, your heart skip a few beats, and your mind spin all over again.
it's not a big gesture per se, and the delicate little squeeze of your hand in his has a much bigger effect than you'd hoped. you feel a bit embarrassed, frankly, because you're over here freaking out over some simple physical contact. all you can do is pray that oscar isn't noticing it.
he does, of course, notice it. however, contrary to what you think, he finds your reaction adorable. it makes him want to give you even more, to hug you, to cradle your pretty face in his hands and stare right into your eyes.
but he'll save that for another day.

"Headcanons of Hanma letting you dominate him then suddenly switching up after ten minutes and just dominating the fuck out of you I'm talking failed orgasms rough fingering rough degradation"
~ Thank you, @katkusuo for saving my limp ass brain and giving me something to go off of. I KNOW it's long as fuck and I doubt I'll ever be as efficient at HC's as @kazutora-kurokawa but my god. We're all good at something. Conciseness is not my niche.
CW ::: Rough sex, language. It's me, guys. The warning is up there.
MDNI Under the cut.
WC ::: 802(The actual body of writing, not this shit up here)
Hanma doesn't fuck around when it comes to fucking around. He knows what he likes. He knows what you like. And he knows a whole lotta other shit that he doesn't let on.
Hanma is more than happy to give you control ... most of the time.
He lets you tie him up, lets you tell him what to do.
He will sit there while you tease the tip of his heavy, leaky cock.
Gently wiping the tears from your cheeks and smudging your black makeup a little more than is really necessary while his words and whimpers are anything but gentle.
He'll bite his lip and groan when you finally push him to the edge when you drop a few well-timed praises and a single swipe of your tongue.
But there is really only so much the man will put up with. Especially when you get bratty.
Hanma loves it when you get bratty, though, because that means that he gets to put you back in your cute ... little ... place.
So, when you start to get mouthy and try to deny him an orgasm that he feels is well-deserved? It's game on.
He'll grab your wrists and pin them above your head, grabbing the binds that he put above the bed after your 4th date, tying you up.
Asking you if it was worth it: Making him almost cum time and time again.
His mouth pressed firmly to your ear he whispers not-so-idle threats to you while he finishes tying your wrists together.
"You think you're cute? Hm? Fuckin' around with matches in an ocean of gasoline, aren't ya, baby girl? You're so fucking stupid sometimes. Ya know that? I love it. I fucking love it."
He grabs your hair and tugs hard, bringing your face to meet his. His eyes are wild, his breathing is erratic.
His fingers trail down your body, grazing your nipples and pinching them harshly before they finally reach your dripping cunt.
He doesn't bother with any preamble. He shoves two fingers inside of you roughly and begins to finger you, using his thumb to rub your clit in a way that makes your eyes roll back in your head.
He watches you open your mouth and waits for the sound to come out but there's nothing. You've been rendered speechless. Exactly how he wants you.
Hanma's mouth moves to your neck, nipping and biting and licking while he continues to work his fingers inside you. Bringing you right to the brink of cumming your brains out. But no, he won't give you the satisfaction of that just yet.
Your legs begin to tremble and your moans become louder and more desperate.
He watches closely for the moment when you're not able to stand anymore. He's counting on it.
When you can no longer hold yourself up, Hanma releases your hands and flips you onto your stomach, yanks your hips up, and slams his cock into you without warning.
You let out a loud moan, but Hanma is quick to cut you off. "Nuh-uh, baby girl. You don't get to make any noise until you take what I have to give you. Got it?"
You nod quickly, unable to speak.
Hanma's thrusts are hard and deep, his hands gripping your hips are already leaving bruises, you can feel it. He can feel it.
He growls low in his throat, his nails digging into your skin as he fucks you harder.
Hanma's fingers reach around you, rubbing your clit while his cock plunges in and out of you.
Your moans turn into even more desperate whimpers and gasps.
"Oh, fuck, baby girl, you're such a good little slut for me, hah? So-hoh fuckin' good."
He continues to fuck you, his thrusts becoming more erratic and frenzied.
He rubs your clit harder, his fingers moving faster and faster until you can feel your orgasm building.
Your attempts at vocalizing your thoughts become louder but no more comprehendible, and Hanma's grip on your hips becomes almost too much.
He thrusts into you hard one last time, and you feel his cum spilling inside of you. His cock throbbing so hard against your burning walls. His fingers rubbing your clit furiously, almost like he hates you or something.
You cum hard, your entire body shaking and shuddering. Your ass involuntarily grinding back against him for that last bit of tension to be wiped clean from your now-soiled body.
Hanma lets out a shaky breath, his fingers slowly releasing their grip on your hips.
He pulls out of you and flops down next to you.
You think you know what to expect but this motherfucker is full of surprises.
"Little girls shouldn't play with fire. Lucky for me, you're the flame. Now spread those legs, 'm not anywhere near done with you, sweetheart."

Getting all soft thinking about the rare occasions of Link actually speaking verbally out loud to Zelda.
At one point it did bug her, ate at her, felt that his silence was a way of him mocking her failure to her role while he seemingly had everything figured out and held everyone's praise - including her father's. However, that was way before Link had actually explained his reasoning to her, the weight of the world being on his shoulders and felt it upon himself to commit to a silent vigil not to disappoint the people of the kingdom that he knows is heavily relying on him. That alone changed how the princess viewed the knight.
Now, even moreso after the Calamity, she doesn't mind. Link has ways of communicating outside of verbal speech in ways of nods, points, and his own unique form of sign language she's very much well picked up on understanding! She even likes to think she's the most expert on said sign language, a badge she wears in prideful honor.
Link is a very good listener and it helps he very much enjoys hearing the princess talk, especially about her research, he can listen to her for hours on end about scientific things that he'll admit he's not the most knowledgeable about to where at some points Zelda could be rambling about something he has no clue what even is but he still enjoys listening to her either way because it's her and talking about these things makes her happy! So he'll just nod along and sign very simple questions that relights the princess' excitement even more as she'll go into further detail about whatever and Link is just left like: :)
On the rare occasions Link does actually speak he is very soft spoken, especially pre-Calamity. Honest to Hylia Zelda nearly fainted the first time she actually heard him. One of these instances I like to think was definitely after the spring of Courage, granted it wasn't the first time I think Zelda has heard him but I feel like it was one that was definitely most impactful.
Just Link helping her out of the spring and they sit at the foot of the water for a bit, Zelda probably crying and still cursing at herself saying so much damming things about herself like she's a failure, a burden, and ect and then just out of nowhere:
"You're not a failure." Or something along those lines, just something to try to get through to her that she isn't all those cruel things her father or some gossipers said her out to be. She is so much more than that and he knows it, and he needs her to know it too.
So it's obvious given the fact Tulin seems at least a few years older than he was in breath of the wild and Riju as well seems definitely taller than she was previously shown as well that at least two or so years minimum have passed since that game, so everyone is going to go through some kind of change before the game starts and Zelda's new haircut seems to be one of them. I think it's very unlikely we'll actually see the actual hair getting cut in game and it'll realistically just be left as an unspoken thing but that just leaves room for speculation and headcanon!
That being said... Link vocally telling her point blank after maybe just one day out of the blue coming home from Kakariko Village visit (they lived together in the Hateno house, Nintendo can pry that from my cold dead hands) the moment she walks through the door, now with her hair now considerably shorter;
"You look breathtaking." Then he goes right back to whatever he was doing inside the home before she arrived leaving Zelda speechless at the doorway just: 🧍🏼♀️
Zelda's a bit awkward, she doesn't know how to address it but it makes her feel... giddy. Maybe she didn't know how she felt about the haircut at first when Impa presented her the mirror to check it how it turned out, at first it was a complex motion - a symbolic action that she was finally ready to leave the past behind and work towards a brighter future, but even still she had this swirling in her gut on the ride home. But now? She adores it, she's reassured of her choice. She is ready. And she's glad to have her beloved knight at her side to live out that future.
No matter what future hardships that are to come.
Coming out of writing retirement just to ease my zelink brainrot. Hope you guys are proud 🥲

I meant to ask about the Rise turtles themselves reactions to 2012 turtles murderous instincts? I'm sorry for sending the same ask twice.
Complete disbelief as they process it. Sure, these alternate versions of themselves have a lot of differences, but there were a lot of similarities too, right? They're the same person at their cores, in all the ways that matter, so-so they can't be capable of just deciding someone is going to die and going through with it, right? They can't, because The Rise Boys can't imagine that, can't imagine looking at another living, breathing being, as vile as it may be, and choosing to be the reason it stop existing, in any way, forever.
"H-hey." Leon grabs Leo's arm. "What was that?" And Leo is confused. And casual. What does Leon mean? Oh, that failed defensive maneuver halfway through? Yeah he landed on his ankle funny- no? Oh, the kill shot? The bad guy went for a shot at Mikey's head. It's them or Leo's family, he knows what that comes down to. What it always comes down to. He knows it too well. And whenever it comes down to that, Leo also knows what he's not just willing to do, but in order to not lose anyone else, what he has to do. Leo walks away, and Leon is left speechless.
"Listen little me," Raphie starts, "I know you're still working on those anger issues and urges, so you probably just got a little lost in them during the fight, right? I can-" But no, Raph says. He doesn't let that happen anymore, not in serious fights. He loses control then, and gets sloppy, and how can he make sure the thing trying to kill his brothers dies first if he can't even aim right through the rage? Yeah, of course he had that in mind, he doesn't start fights with intent to kill but he always knows it could get to that point. He'd do anything to protect his family, and as long as the day ends with Mikey being annoying and Donnie being irritating and Leo being overbearing, he'll sleep on the battle decisions he makes like nothing went wrong.
"So you... don't mind close-quarters lethality," Donald starts off with, "It's interesting, I um, have never actually been allowed to go through with it myself-" And Donnie looks at him like he's the one who tried to drive a blade through someone/thing's skull, looking the villain right in the eyes as he went for the kill. And he says he's done it plenty of times now, not always to a truly self-aware creature granted, he's not sure if Creepweed was aware while he killed it with that weed killer- sorry, he's rambling again. You can't be sure they're actually dead if you're not right there, close up, watching the life leave. And then what? It'll come back, because you failed to get rid of it, and it'll hurt people again? It'll hurt your family again? They learned that lesson already, more than once. Sometimes the dead thing even gets back up. You just have to keep at it until it doesn't anymore.
"You can't just kill people," Angelo says, staring, trying to analyze how his counterpart is feeling, but the casual walk and the happy humming don't make sense with what he just saw. "You don't just kill the bad guys, right?" And Mikey shrugs and says well, sometimes. He once ate a pizza-man from the inside to save his family, though that may or may not have been a dream. He'd do it again, though. And when Angelo asks him how he can live with that, Mikey says that the first time he decided, not in a panic, to go for the kill, it was because his terrible ex-friend Bradford had knocked Donnie out and was about to kill him. And Mikey just decided, without hesitation, that he'd live with whatever came after if Bradford had to die for Donnie to be okay, and he'd tried to drive a blade through the top of Bradford's skull. And he says it the same way he'd describe playing poker with Ice Cream Kitty, or anything else that wasn't a kid having to choose murder to protect his brother. And then he says sometimes it's the only way to make things stop. Leo doesn't want them killing anyone, Mikey says, after he had to kill Shredder he tries his best to jump for the kill before nay of them have to. Mikey thinks it haunts him, and he wishes Leo would let one of them do it instead so he doesn't have to carry another burden like that.
And Leon thinks about if they could have physically defeated The Krang, about what they did to Raphie, what they tried to do to the rest of them, and he realizes with a pit of dread and horror that he understands what Leo means.
And Raphie thinks a lot about what Raph said, and how easily he took the idea of killing as long as it meant his families safety, and he feels a squirmy feeling in his stomach at the idea and he feels sick just entertaining it, but he also thinks... he could be pushed to that. He doesn't know if he'd be able to sleep easy after, like Raph said he would, but he knows he can't lose his little brothers. Ever.
Donald looks at some of his blueprints, his missiles and guns and weaponry. He thinks about his ninpo. He's never been afraid of lethality, not as a concept. But Donnie said he needs to be close. To watch. To make sure. And Donald imagine looking one of the villains they know in the eyes, and watching the life leave their eyes as they die, being close enough to see the actual killing wound... his whole body shudders, and he turns the blueprints over so he can't see them anymore. It's suddenly a lot less of a game, a shine. It's suddenly a lot more real. Something that once was, now nothing, at his hand, as he waited there to ensure it will never be again. And the concept has lost it's luster.
Angelo watches his weapon crackle with fire. It's warm, and inviting, casting a cozy and playful glow around the room. That's how he's always seen himself, even when he's angry or when he's hurt. But he realizes fire also burns, and destroys, and turns things to ashes that crumble in the wind and leave no trace but a black smudge against whatever manages to survive. That's what Mikey is capable of. Playful and warm glows, and easy-going obliteration, if someone starts playing with the fire like it's all Fun and no Fury. He tries to dig down and find something like that in himself. Could he make a split-second decision like that and not be left reeling after? Could he make the choice "I'm going to kill someone," and actually do it, or at least seriously try to, and not be left panicking about his own identity and morality and who he is? He doesn't know, it's impossible to know unless it actually happens, and he wipes his eyes at the very idea. He hadn't had time to consider killing The Krang when it all happened, he'd just had to focus on getting through the next event. It was Find Raph, then it was Get Donnie To The Controls, then it was-
He doesn't know what exactly that sky-fight with The Krang was. He didn't think about killing it, but he didn't think about how to fight without killing it either. They were all just running on Get It Gone and Make It Out.
And when that didn't work he just focused on Get Leo Back. He saw The Krang coming for the portal and didn't think "He needs to die for what he did." He just thought "I can't let him make it through," and winked and closed the portal. Would it have been different if The Krang had been closer? Would he have been willing to close it when the Krang was partway through, portal-chopping a real being into halves? He feels ill thinking about it, and he doesn't know what he would have chosen in that moment. He has no idea.
The 2012 Boys pull back a little when they realize how much it impacted their younger counterparts. But they also, in a silent group agreement none of them even know they made, decide that means the younger turtles should never have to learn if they share this capacity for killing. If that means throwing themselves into a little more danger, if that means being overprotective, if that means risking losing the trust or respect of the others... so be it.
Kids shouldn't have to know what they're willing to kill over. Kids shouldn't have to know how they handle the aftermath of ending someone's life. Kids shouldn't be in that situation in the first place.
They've already had to find out.
Maybe their counterparts don't.

Main 4 meeting your family Headcanons
Asra
he would be kind and sweet, he'll be a gentleman and possibly ask for stories about you from when you were kids and would love to hear all the embarrassing stories about your childhood which would result in you socking him in the arm which would just cause him to laugh and later on tease you about it. He would get along well with your parents and sometimes you'll think they like him more than they like you and if you had any younger siblings then he'll show them a bit of a light show using his magic. If you had any older siblings he'll probably get to know them better and they'll probably have a story or two to share about your childhood. In the end your family ends up loving Asra and would love to have him around more. "I hear wedding bells~ When should we start planning the wedding." Your father jokes, causing you to turn a bright red.
"Daaaad!" You socked him in the arm as he laughed walking away but you swore you heard asra mumble something under his breath that sounded like he was already planning something. At the end of the day everyone is just laughing and telling horrible jokes especially your father and his dad jokes..
Julian
He would be extremely nervous and start rambling on about if he should get them a gift or if that would be too formal, you swore you saw smoke from all the thinking he was doing. You put a gentle hand on his shoulder shaking him out of his thoughts which worked because all he did was stare at you before a bright blush creeped upon his cheeks. At the family dinner he would crack jokes and tell tall tales of his adventures as a pirate which would cause your whole family to burst out into laughter. It made Julian a bit less on edge after he heard all the praise from your family. He's a huge hit with your father and your siblings and sometimes you'd catch your father and Julian in the back fencing. It was stupid but your just glad that he's getting along well with your family. Your father told you that he's more than welcome to come over especially since he owes him a rematch stating Julian cheated but all in all your father just doesn't like to lose. When you and Julian returned home that day he couldn't stop talking about how much fun he had meeting your family and how much he adores them and is happy to be a part of it all.
Lucio
You all think Lucio is going to be his usual self and be a tyrant talking about only himself, well that's where you're wrong! As soon as you asked him if he would like to meet your family he dropped everything he was doing and allowed you to take him to meet them, he was an angel! He didn't talk about himself at all this time. He wanted to hear about your family's adventures and if your family asked him about his adventures then he would tell them all about it but he wanted to prove to you and your family that he could be a lovable and trustworthy boyfriend. He loved the story he would tell your siblings on how he lost his arm, yes a few of it was made up but the way he told the story made it feel so real and it made your family happy to hear all about it. You even saw your eldest sibling try to arm wrestle Lucio and his golden arm, they failed but after a few more tries lucio ended up letting your siblings win, it was adorable and it made your heart swell. When you headed back home with lucio you couldn't help but tease him about how good he was with your family, all he could do was blush denying everything which just resulted into you giving him a kiss on the cheek leaving him speechless as you entered the palace. All you can say now is that your family absolutely loved Lucio and wouldn't mind seeing him around more often.
Muriel
He would decline right away but as soon as you gave him the puppy eyes he would try to resist but once Inanna joined in on the puppy eyes he gave in and finally agreed to meet your family. He was nervous at first because he was afraid of what your family would think of him.. I mean look at him he's massive! and looks scary but deep down he's a cuddly bear. When your parents opened the door he could barely even fit through but he managed, he would feel uncomfortable for a bit especially when your siblings kept staring at him, you were about to do something till your siblings all hugged him which just made you cry because it was adorable! You looked over towards Muriel to see him a lot calmer than before. It makes you happy seeing him getting along with your family. You saw him lifting your siblings all up at the same time which was impressive and resulted in Muriel letting out a few laughs here and there. You even saw him teaching your family on how to make flower crowns and how to whittle, in the end you ended up getting a lesson in whittling as well. You loved seeing your boyfriend and your family get along so well, he was scared about nothing! You know he had a blast meeting your family and my family agreed on that note and said he's more than welcome to come by again and next time they'll have a bigger door so it's easier for him to walk through. All the way home you couldn't help but notice the small smile Muriel wore along the way, he's a part of your family now and that's what matters, all you gotta do now is introduce your family to Inanna, which will be hard but it shall be done, she's family.
sorry I didn't do nadia or portia.. I didn't have anything for them on this one.. i'm basically running on empty rn.. But I hope you enjoy QWQ and i'll be getting my request done soon possibly today or tomorrow

truth or dare
peirings: kuroo x fem!reader x kenma.
warnings: smut, aged up, oral, gagging, threesome, nipples play, overstimulating, hint of poly relationship.
w/c: 1.9k
kuroo and kenma are your closest friends - both of them would help you out anytime or talk to your whenever you want it. both of them are happy to spend their evenings with you: they're needed for your relaxing body massage you once give them or you both prefer to watch anime. sometimes, you do the homework - the time where's kuroo yelling at you and kenma for being bad at the subject. although, if you're getting good grades at school, he still mad - you aren't good at his point. after studying, both of you would play a video game. now, kenma is the best player among you.
'how is that possible you don't know how to play? gosh, i'll show only once, i won't teach you forever, nerds'
quiet notes from kenma to you on how to win kuroo.
generally, they both are funny and good friends. one call to kuroo or kenma and he'll be around you, comforting his friend.
'till the moment kuroo propose to play a game, named truth or dare.
'it'd be fun, what do you think, y/n-chan?'
'i'm in!'
the thought it'd cheerfully and you'll have merrily game didn't last long. it was fun to a certain point in the game.
'truth or dare, kenma-kun?' asked vivaciously kuroo. he has been joining since he came up with
'truth'
'are you in love with someone?'
kenma is speechless, his eyes widened as he heard the question. he gulped, closing his eyes.
'seriously, in love?' kenma responded with a question, crossing arms on the chest, staring at his friend like he told a lewd thing.
'i mean that, give us an answer!'
'yes, i am' you covered your mouth with a hand, gazing at the blond one. the game started and you found out an interesting thing about kozume.
'who are they? do we know them?' you inquired, putting your hand on kenma's shoulder, rubbing it a cheerful way. kinda, you glad that your friend settled down by found a girl with whom he wants to be. although, why is he keeping it aside from you? aren't you friends with him?
'it's the second question, now i'm running. y/n-chan, truth or dare?'
'how rude you're, truth'
'the same question. do you love someone?'
you exhaled, musing about the question. the warm feeling born in your chest when you're with boys. you've never caught yourself at the thought you're in love with them. you love them as friends, maybe something more, but you aren't in love. it must be a wrong feeling.
'i don't know. it's just complicated, i've got feelings for.. for someone, but don't think i'm in love'
'are you hiding some information apart from me?' kuroo indignantly screamed, pointing at you. he moaned lingering, twisted his tongue, not looking at you. 'being in love it's awesome, why you both didn't tell me early, i-i' he interrupted himself, reflecting on the phrase he said.
'kuroo-san, truth or dare?'
'dare'
you're smiling sinisterly, rubbing your hands, guessing over the dare. it would humorously tell him to do something easy, so you're kept thinking about it whilst found acceptable dare.
'do a striptease for us'
it's entertaining to watch as his emotions changing from calm to frowning, in the eyes new emotion - mingled astonishment and stupefaction. knockout dare took him off guard - he didn't expect you would dare an obscene action like a strip.
'you will regret about it, y/n'
those eyes that expressed stupefaction transformed to the lustful and lascivious. there is no fear of unknowing what you'll dare next, there's lust and dissolute.
kuroo took his shirt off, exposing a pumped-up body - he has those fucking six-pack, not like a bodybuilder, but damn, his upper body literally saying: fuck me. he's coming closer to you with small steps, playing with his chest and abs using hands. you didn't notice how fast kuroo he put his knees between your legs, running his fingers on your shoulders to the neck, squeezing your narrow neck, pulling his face in your ear.
'you liked it, y/n, like my strip-' he did a little pause, licking your ear. the goosebumps are running over your body, as long as you're trying to avoid the familiar feeling. you closed your eyes, attempting his body. 'tease'
he moved away from you, back at his previous position, staring at kenma. his mand is hazy of the action kuroo did: was it real or he was guided by the dare. crafty type.
'kenma, truth or dare?' he's acting like it was nothing, like he didn't tease by half-muttering in your ear, which gave you goosebumps, and your breath was taken away. for credibility, he licked your earlobe, isn't it enough?
'since the game is getting hotter, dare, kuroo'
'show us the person you're in love with'
isn't the game hotter than a sun? on that point, is getting closer to that temperature. kenma stood up, staring at his teammate - some line is connecting them, binding them as some rivals for your attention. kenma sat behind you, put hands on your shoulders, breathed out on the back of your neck, make your knees go weak. 'she's sitting in front of you'
goosebumps are running over your body, breath stuck in your throat as kenma touched your shoulder with his warm palm, rubbing your skin gently. you exhaled, as kenma lingering on your neck, raises the chin up, blowing in your left ear, kissing it concurrently.
'and i'm kissing her'
you opened your mouth, not trying to resist, moisten chapped lips erstwhile were humidified due to the lip gloss. not trying to resist, when kuroo put your small hand on his six-pack; your hands are running over lumpy muscles whilst the blond one licking your collarbone. suddenly, you felt his hands under the shirt, denuding your breast to kuroo. you were up to close your legs, but the hand of the guy in front of you didn't allow it.
'you're so concupiscent, y/n. let us do the thing, baby girl. we'll treat you as your queen, your little girl' uttered kuroo, approaching his face on your nipple. 'can i?'
there must an answer, although everything you could do muttering indistinctly, feeling the unknowing sense down there. so marvelous, voluptuous, and vulnerable it is. kuroo barely touched your nipple with the tip as kenma slipped a hand into your shorts. you lay the back on kenma's chest, unconsciously spreading legs apart. outlining yet hard areola, kuroo lick it, biting just lightly the nipple. he has been enjoying it even more than you, receiving from two boys delight.
kenma pull aside your shorts, discovered you aren't wearing the panties. he snorted, rubbing an index finger on your folds. what could be more pleasant than this moment? the captain of a nekoma team is licking your nipples whilst the setter is playing with your pussy. you're lost in his caress: it seems there's no more air, no more feelings besides lust and desire.
kuroo pulls away from you, unzip his pants: a thick dick dropped in front of your face, covered in veins, the head is red from the pressure of your tiny body. the precum appears on the glans as you touched the hot cock, stroking with a hand from the tip 'till your little finger touches the pubis. you smear the drop of his semen with a tongue, lick the head, pull inside the wet mouth.
'you haven't seen something big as my cock, sweetie?' he giggled, thrust more in your warm, little mouth. you're sandwiched between two hot bodies, receiving and giving oral sex. abruptly, kenma make a fist of your hair, nudging your head deeper on kuroo's cock 'till your nose meets with the skin. you chocked, not having time for rest, in addition, kenma's abrupt push makes you gag even more. kenma entering his finger inside your tight pussy, still nudging you.
'get on the bed, baby' kuroo hoisted you up. somehow, you managed to stand on your fours, letting kuroo eating you out, giving kenma your face to fuck. maybe it's their smells, such as aphrodisiac; not paying attention to the pain in your throat due to their fat cocks, you're sucking blond's member whilst kuroo greedily licking out you, preparing for the cock. it seems it has been an eternity since you've been doing it, whereas it doesn't take longer than a quarter of the time.
'don't worry, sweetie, i'll be gentle, just relax'
you're practically been dripping under his face, yet when you felt the gland at the entrance you knew it won't be easy: kuroo won't stop till he goes into you entirely. you're getting lost as many times you came on the captain's tongue, perhaps two or three, nevertheless it hurts when he's attempting to pull his cock in. with a certain slosh kuroo went in your cunt deep, but slow, stopping his movements, giving you a couple of second to get used to the new feeling. new orgasm is building up as soon as kuroo asked you with a husky voice about your well-being.
'are you okay? i could pull it out if you're-'
'move, kuroo. you can'
tremendously soft and big concurrently, but his smug grin appears as he heard your order: it's maddening him to be inside you. gradually, the captain starts to increase the pace, as his balls slapping against your cunt.
kenma is blissful as never: he could only think about the godlike blowjob like this one. your tongue is running from the tip to the balls, gagging by it. tears start to fall down on your cheeks, leaving the wet trace, though you aren't stopping: you're a masochist if you're relishing something like that. you would answer: yes, i am, but your mouth is full by kenma's dick.
'i will cum in your mouth, can i, kitten?'
kenma is breathing heavily, scarcely would last longer, as you feel as his cock is twitching and getting hotter. you switched your mouth on his glans, sucking and stroking the base, helping to reach the high.
'me too, y/n, get ready for mine semen in your mouth too'
so fucking full of sperm you'll be in a few seconds. kuroo pulls his dick out, get out of bed, coming to the edge. using your hands, you're stroking theirs cocks waiting for the cum in your mouth to taste it. both of them came simultaneously, giving you their hot semen. feeling as your cunt twitching from the big dick, swallowing their semen.
how did it turn on? what happened? you didn't know exactly, you're happy that now you're cuddling and smooching your boys, exhausted from your first time. kuroo tenderly kissing the back of your neck, burying his face into your hair, pulling closer by your waist. kenma covers your face with quick but affectional kisses, interlacing your fingers.
you're happy and lucky cuddling with boys with the guys you love. but they love you even more.
'sleep kitten, we will be here when you open your eyes'
'stop talking she's sleeping!'
'don't scream she may wake up'
'and stop being so sweet i love her more than you do'
'no, i-'
you giggled, falling asleep to their quiet muttering of 'who loves you more'

the fact is • jeon jeongguk
plot – you're a waitress that gets stuck serving jeon jeongguk, who can't make his mind up on what to eat.
words – 6.4K
"Indecisive snot, aren't you?"
The words are out before you could stop them. Your natural instinct is to take it back and apologize, but this idiot has pushed you over the edge. He has changed his order six times and that was after adding sides and removing this or that. The customer - the arrogant brat of a chaebol, you thought to yourself - looking at his menu snapped his gaze to you, eyes widening in surprise, disbelief and was that intrigue? Nope. Probably just a trick of the light.
"Excuse me?" He says, eyebrows still raised to high heaven.
You weigh your options silently for a few moments. You could try and kiss his ass and loose your job. Or you could finish what you started and loose your job. Because there was no question, you were loosing your job. Speaking to a customer like that, in a restaurant as high end as this? The ultimate no-no.
The choice was a no brainer.
You give him a flat look, "Are you deaf?"
A surprised scoff leaves him and for a moment he stares at you, and then a smirk pulls at the corners of his mouth. "Do you not know who I am?"
"Of course I know who you are, Jeon Jeongguk, I don't live under a rock." You roll your eyes at him.
"Huh." He frowns at you.
You frown back, "What?"
"I've never met someone so . . . outspoken before. Normally people are all compliments and well wishes." Jeongguk doesn't say how delightfully refreshing it is. Like a spring breeze, spreading through his veins and breathing colour into his monotonous life. This is the most excitement he's had since he went parachuting eight months ago. That is a sad thought, but unfortunately a true one.
"Yeah, well," You shrug, tapping your pen against your notebook. "Kissing ass and lying are two things that didn't make it onto my list of qualities."
"Speaking your mind, obviously did." He notes, still smirking.
"Excellent observational skills there, Sherlock." You deadpan.
Jeongguk laughs and you don't like the way it makes warmth simmer in your belly. He looks up at you with dark eyes and you privately think for all that the media gets wrong, they have one thing right. Jeon Jeongguk is ridiculously attractive. "What's your name?"
"Are you blind or illiterate?" You raise a brow down at him. He looks caught off guard for a moment.
"Um...neither?" It comes out unsure, hesitant.
"Then what exactly is stopping you from reading my name badge?" You ask, tapping the badge on your chest with your pen. You were already losing your job, so you might as well make the best of it.
He looks embarrassed for a second, eyes dropping to the table, cheeks dusting the faintest shade of pink.
You raise a brow, "So, are you going to order or are you going to complain to my manager and get me fired?"
"Fired for what?" He asks.
You want to snap at him, but the genuine confusion in his eyes made you hold your tongue. For once. In a 'duh' tone, you tell him. "Speaking my mind."
"Ah. Right." Realisation lights up in his eyes. "I could have you fired for speaking to me like that." He says, like the thought never occurred to him.
"I'll go get my manager then." You say and turn on your heel, not at all surprised.
Jeongguk's mind goes into an epic panic as you turn your back on him and he blurts a quick, "Wait."
"What?" You ask, turning back to him with an uninterested look.
"I said that I could. Not that I would." He tells you and it makes your speechless for about five seconds.
Then you squint at him with a slight glare, "What do you want?"
"Excuse me?"
"You obviously want something in exchange for keeping quiet. What is it?" You speak matter-of-factly. After a moment you add, "Just know, if it's something sexual or in that direction, I'd rather loose my job."
Jeongguk gapes at you, looking stunned. "I don't know whether to be insulted by the insinuation that I need to blackmail someone into sleeping with me or that you'd rather loose your job than sleeping with me."
"So sorry for offending your delicate sensibilities." You drawled sarcastically. "You still haven't told me what you want."
"Well, I like coming here often and when I do and you're my server, I'd like you to always speak your mind around me." He said, with the smallest of shrugs, looking down at the silverware on the table instead of at you.
Confusion sweeps through you, his request catching you off guard. "Really? That's it?"
"Yes." He nods stiffly.
"I don't understand." You admit.
"You don't have to. You asked me what I want, this is it." He looks at you again, eyes still dark and piercing and you can't understand what he's thinking.
"Fine, okay, yeah, I can do that." You nods eventually, noticing how his shoulders untense just a bit. You look at him, curious and full of questions, but cautious enough to not actually ask. "Are you gonna order now?"
"Why don't you surprise me? I can't decide what I want to eat." He says, handing you the menu.
"I'm shocked." You deadpan with a faux smile, before looking at him seriously. "Are you allergic to anything?"
"No." He shakes his head, lacing his fingers together and resting his hands on the table.
Your mind races for a few moments before settling on a dish. You nod at Jeongguk. "Okay, I'll be back with your food in a while then."
***
Three weeks later, you haven't served Jeongguk again. It's not that he hasn't been in, oh no, he has. You've seen him, caught him staring and then looking away quickly. He just hasn't sat at one of your tables again. Each week, the tables get rotated and there is four rotations, so you'll only be on Jeongguk's usual table next week.
You walked into the kitchen, just coming off your lunch break when Lee stops you and says, "Table 12 for you."
You look at Jae, who was on table 12 this week and got a hostile glare. You ignore her and look at Lee with confusion, "But I'm not on table 12 today."
"You were requested and customers here get what they want." Lee shrugs, giving you a 'it is what it is' look.
"By who?" You ask, having some idea of the answer. There is only one customer you know that would request you. You are always polite to the other customers but with an air of detachment, that keeps them from prying and you from getting into trouble. Until three weeks ago, that is.
"Jeon Jeongguk." Lee says, confirming your suspicions.
"Motherfucker." You swear.
Jae looks down her nose from you, "Don't he used to it. It won't last. He'll get bored of you soon enough."
"I hope so." You huff, as Jae walks away with a less than pleased expression.
"What?" Lee asks, her shock obvious.
"You heard me."
Lee tilts her head at you in disbelief and curiousity, "So, you're not trying to get into his pants?"
"Uh, no." You frown at her. Sure, he's hot but you know your place. You also need money than you need to get laid. "Why?"
"Most girls try when they work here, but everytime they try something, Mr. Jeon complains and they get fired." Lee explains.
Something suddenly made sense to you, "Is that what Jae's trying to do?"
"No one will say it to her face, but yeah, it is." Lee nods, shrugging a little. "She's jealous that he requested you, when you've worked here just over a month, served him once, and she's worked here for almost two years and he hasn't blinked in her direction."
"Huh," You frown, lost in your thoughts. "I wonder why he didn't get me fired then."
"Why? What did you say to him?" Lee eyes you curiously.
"Called him an indecisive snot." You smirk gleefully, happy that you got away with talking to him like you want and not getting fired because of it.
"Right." Lee says in a tone that made it clear she doesn't believe you.
"I did." You insist.
Lee waves you off, and you exit the kitchen, walking into the dining room, heading over to Jeongguk's regular table.
You look at him as he comes into your line of direct sight. His one leg was shaking, eyes shifting around the room, fingers tapping the table restlessly. When he spots you walking over to him, he stills completely. A smile - a cute one, you admit to yourself and no one else - spreads on his lips as he breathes your name, "Y/N."
You give him a look, "Did you miss me or something?"
"What? No." Jeongguk scoffs quickly. "I was bored. And you cure my boredom."
You raise your eyebrows at him, head going forward a little, "I cure your boredom?" You repeat, slowly. Maybe he's kidding.
But Jeongguk just nods at you as if it makes all the sense in the world, "Yeah. It's like live entertainment while I eat."
You scowl at him, "I'm not a circus clown."
"That's not what I meant!" He exclaims, voice a little too loud, causing heads to swivel in your direction. He takes a breath and speaks again, softer this time. "I just meant that it's nice. Or it was nice, the one time I actually got to talk to you."
"So, you did miss me." You tease good naturedly. Jeongguk doesn't answer, just stares resolutely down at the table. You sigh, feeling fond instead of annoyed. You hide a smile as you ask, "What will it be today?"
Jeongguk looks at you again, hesitantly at first, then fully when he sees your expectant gaze, "Surprise me."
Now you were surprised, "Again?"
"I liked what you ordered last time." He does that small shrug again. Actually, it's less of a shrug, and more a slight lift of the shoulders. You notice that he has broad shoulders, and the suit he's wearing only makes them look better. You push those thoughts away, focusing on the conversation.
"And if you don't like it this time?" You challenge.
"I did say surprise me, and surprises can be positive or negative." Jeongguk decides not to tell her that this is his favorite restaurant and he knows the menu by heart. He knows and likes every dish, so there was no way he wouldn't like something she serves him. And he's curious as to what she'll decide this time.
You snort, laughing lightly, "You know, you're not as bad as I thought you were."
Jeongguk looks mildly offended, "I'll have you know, I'm a catch."
"I'm sure." You nod, hiding a grin.
"I am." He insists and you had to admit, he is attractive.
"Yes, right up until the moment you open your mouth." You say honestly, writing down one of the dishes on the menu.
"Rude." He pouts a little and you suppress the urge to giggle, of all things.
"Maybe," You concede. "But it's the truth." You picked up his menu, turning on your heel to go to the kitchen.
"So, how do I . . . improve?" Jeongguk asks when you come back with his food, continuing with the conversation where you left off.
"Do I look like a life coach to you?" You set down the food. "Enjoy."
"Thanks." Jeongguk grins at her. "And, no, but if I went to one they'd tell me what they think I want to hear, not what I need to hear."
You stare at him for a few seconds and he looks back unflinchingly. "Well," You press your lips together. "I guess you should start with why you want to change."
That makes Jeongguk falter. He can't very well say, 'so I can impress you, since my money doesn't seem too' and he thinks for a bit. "I have come to realise that maybe I treat people unfairly based on how much money they have. I would like to change that."
Your eyebrows goes up, "That's surprisingly deep, coming from you."
"I'm not swallow." He defends himself.
You nod complacently, "Right, well, the answer is easy but actually doing it, will all depend on you."
"What do I do?"
"Just, think before you say something. Ask yourself, can my words hurt this person?"
"And if they deserve it?" Jeongguk wonders.
"The right answer would be to still be considerate, because two wrongs don't make a right, but I hate being a hypocrite, so go for it, if they deserve it. I mean, it's not like I held back when you annoyed me." You gave a shrug. "I should go. We're not allowed to loiter at the tables."
Jeongguk wants to ask her to sit with him and keep him company some more, but he knows he would be setting himself up for rejection. Instead, he just looks at her with a half smile. "Just when I think I have you all figured out, you do or say something that proves me wrong."
"My mom always used to say, you can spend a lifetime with someone and still learn something new about them every day. People evolve everyday and you'll never be who you are right now, tomorrow again."
"She sounds like a wise woman." Jeongguk remarks.
You smile, nostalgia making your heart warm, "Yeah, she was."
"I'm sorry." Jeongguk says, catching onto the past tense. A lump forms in your throat out of nowhere.
"Thank you." You swallowed thickly, clearing your throat. You gave him a shaky smile, hoping he wouldn't notice. "See, you're doing better already."
Jeongguk did notice but decided not to call her out on it. He just smiled up at her softly, watching after her figure when she walks away.
***
"You know, if I didn't know that you come here everyday, I'd say you that you are stalking me." You teased Jeongguk when you go to take his order for the fifth time in a row. You've had a day off, inbetween, but when you showed up for your next shift, Jeongguk was there and everytime he's requested you. By now, whoever was on rotation for his table, just lets you know whenever he shows up.
"And how do you know that?" Jeongguk raises a curious eyebrow at you.
"I complained to Lee about you and she told me." You explain to him, mentally running over the menu in your head. Jeongguk told you on the third day to just order for him everytime. So, when you walk to his table under the guise of taking his order, the two of you just talk.
"Lee?" He inquires.
"She's my friend and another server here."
"Ah." Jeongguk nods in realisation. "Can I ask you a personal question?"
"You can ask, but that doesn't guarantee I'll answer." You say, giving him a cheeky smile.
She has a beautiful smile, Jeongguk thinks to himself. He shakes himself out of his thoughts and looks her in the eyes, "Do you have a boyfriend?"
You frown down at him, finding the question odd. He's never asked anything too personal. Just normal things, what you're studying, what you do when you're not working. Sometimes you'll tell him a story of something dumb you did as a kid, but he'll never outright ask. "No."
A thought suddenly occurs to Jeongguk and he doesn't really want to ask because that'll destroy every hope he has but he needs to know. He quirks a brow at her, "Girlfriend?"
You snort at the question, "No, I'm straight. My cousin swings both ways though. Nearly gave his mom a stroke when he came out at our annual Christmas family dinner two years ago."
"Oh." Jeongguk wants to sag in relief, wants to let out a thankful cheer, but settles for just a small smile and letting out a breath of relief.
"Why are you asking?"
He does that little shrug that isn't really a shrug thing. "I was just wondering. You never really talk about one, or even someone you're interested in."
"Okay, if there was someone, why would I tell you?" You are teasing, but he doesn't know as you look at him blankly.
"I was just curious." Jeongguk huffs defensively.
"Yeah, yeah, settle down." You snicker. After a moment you say, "I guess I don't talk about it because there hasn't been anyone to talk about."
"Really?" Jeongguk beams up at you hopefully, eyes glittering.
"Really." You roll your eyes, but there was a slight warmth in your cheeks that wasn't there before.
***
Seven months and many short conversations later – in which you learnt many things about Jeongguk and vica versa – you walk up to his table with a smile, genuinely excited to see your sort of friend. The smile fades from your face when you lay eyes on him – his whole body was tense, you could tell even from a distance, he was glaring out the window, clenched fists laying on the table. Something wasn't right. You quicken your pace, concern swirling in your belly. You stop at his table, feeling your heartbeat quicken. "What's wrong?"
"None of your fucking business." He snaps at you, words so venomous it makes you take a step back in shock, but mostly hurt.
Jeongguk regrets the words the moment they're out because he didn't mean them. He doesn't want to fight or argue. He came to see her to feel better. Now he snapped at her. He waits, for whatever tongue lashing she is about to give him. He'd deserve it and he'll take it. But she says nothing. Somehow her silence was much worse than any insult she can hurl at him. Her face closes off, he watches it happen as her fingers tighten around the pen and notepad she uses to take orders, and panic sparks beneath his skin, overriding all the anger he feels.
No. His mind rebels against the thought immediately.
"What can I get for you today, Sir?" Her voice is perfectly polite as she asks the question, like it was the first time he met her. Until he made her snap after changing his order for a sixth time.
No, no, no, no, no! Not this. Anything but this. His heartbeat quickens.
Jeongguk was quickly turning frantic, "Y/N, please, I-"
"We have a lovely special today." She goes on as if he didn't speak, eyes void of the usual fire when she'd argue with him or the gentle warmth when she sometimes smiled at him and called him an idiot. It was the only times he ever liked being called an idiot.
He listens to her droning on about he specials, explaining them. Jeongguk's heart drops all the way down to his feet. It feels like someone pulled a rug from beneath his feet, and he is thrown off balance from the how utterly wrong it feels, how much it bothers him, hurts him, that she is talking to him like he is just another random customer. Like she hasn't told him how she got stuck in a tree, climbing after the neighbors cat. Playing with their cat because her parents never allowed pets.
A cold feeling of dread washes over him because Jeongguk has no idea to fix whatever he just fucked up.
***
You very almost cry when Jeongguk snaps at you, feeling irrationally hurt by his words. You shove it all down as you pull up your walls and shut him out to protect yourself. You serve him as quickly as possible, walking away without a friendly word.
"Trouble in paradise?" Jae smirks at you when you come back from serving Jeongguk.
You glare at her, not in the mood for dealing with her jealousy today. "No, just looking at your face is enough to put anyone in a bad mood."
Jae's eyes widened, fury spreading on her face. "You bitch!" She yells, raising a hand to slap you.
You smirk, catching her wrist easily. "Careful, just now you break a nail."
You let her go, walking away. You wait until you're in the bathroom, safely away from prying eyes in a locked stall, before letting you face crumple, only letting one tear escape before getting yourself under control.
You finish your shift, completely exhausted by the end of it – emotionally and physically. The last thing you have the energy for, is Jeongguk, so of course he's waiting for you at the personnel entrance and exit when you step outside. Intent on ignoring him, you pretend that you don't see him and you start walking in the direction of the train station.
Jeongguk follows you, apparently not easily deterred. "Will you just talk to me please?"
"What would you like me to say, Sir?" You ask in your most professional voice, looking ahead and not glancing at him.
"I'd like you to talk to me and stop treating me like I'm a customer." He says, sounding frustrated and desperate.
"You are a customer, Sir." You answer, still not looking at him.
"For fuck sakes, will you stop with the 'sir' already and talk to me like you used to?" Jeongguk all but explodes, stepping infront of you, and looking down at you for a change. It's startling, for a moment. You always look down at him when he sits at the table and it never occured to you that he's taller than you. He sets his hands on your shoulders (they're big and warm and you feel surprisingly safe, even when he squeezes slightly), frantic and desperate eyes looking into yours. "You don't even have to talk, you can yell or scream or shout for all I care, just please stop."
"You want me to talk? Fine." You glare up at him, shrugging out of his hold and taking a step back. He's way to close for comfort. "Look, I get I'm not exactly from the same side of town as you are, but that doesn't mean I'm incapable of empathy. I'd bet that I have more empathy than most people you know. So, when someone I see as a kind of friend, snaps at me when I ask them what's wrong out of concern, when they could have said they don't want to talk about it, it hurts." You rant, a little out of breath. "Do you understand that? You hurt me."
"I'm sorry. Fuck, I am so sorry, you have no idea. I shouldn't have snapped at you and I regretted it the moment I did it. I was angry, and I know it isn't an excuse but it's the truth."
"Sorry isn't going to fix it," You say, voice edging on being too sharp. Your heart twists when his face falls. You soften a bit. "But it is a step in the right direction."
Jeongguk perks up, "What's another?"
"For starters, next time you don't want to talk about me, tell me instead of snapping at me." You give him a pointed glare, crossing your arms over your chest.
Jeongguk gives you an apologetic look, "Again, I'm sorry. I honestly didn't mean to snap at you. I came to talk to you, hoping I'd calm down a bit. I had an ugly fight some dumbass that tried to sell low quality material to us and I took it out of you."
You are reminded of the fact that he is the heir to his father's multi-billion won international conglomerate and for some reason, it makes you sad. You smile at him, ignoring the sadness. "Well, you're forgiven but I'm not forgotting."
"I wouldn't dream of it." He grins cheekily. He paused for a moment, then smirks at you. "So, we're friends now?"
You groan, "I should have known that would come back to bit me I'm the ass."
***
A large bouquet of pink tulips is delivered to you the next morning. Inside is a card that reads:
Thank you for never giving up on me. -JJK
Lee whistles loudly when she sees them and your cheek burn. "Someone must really like you."
"It's from a friend." You say, ignoring the fluttering in your belly.
"My point still stands. Those are out of season, you know." She remarks.
You nod, "I know. They're my favourite."
You finish your shift with a smile on your face. Until your boss calls you into his office.
"Yes, Sir?" You ask, still smiling and the bouquet of flowers in your one hand, backpack up on your shoulders and ready to go home.
"Y/N. I'll get right to the point. There's been a complaint that you've been too friendly with one of our customers." He says bluntly.
You almost drop your flowers in shock, "What?"
"I'm sorry to do this, Y/N, but it is a direct violation of the contract you signed when you started here. Professionalism is our top priority. I have no choice but to fire you." He says, and he does look sorry as he holds out an envelope to you. "This is the week's wages. Again, I'm sorry. You are a good worker."
"You're firing me because of something someone accused me off?" You ask, indignant and a little angry. "You're not even going to ask me if I did it? And if I did it, why I didn't stop?"
"The accusation came from a very trustworthy customer that was concerned that our reputation might be damaged." Your manager says. "If it gets to the owner and he finds out I did nothing, I could loose my job."
You scoff, taking the envelope. If you didn't need the money, you'd have thrown it back in his face. "So, it's okay for me to loose mine?"
"I'm sorry."
"So am I." You say before turning around and leaving.
***
The first day she's not there, Jeongguk brushes it off, thinking she has the day off and forgot to tell him. The second day, he starts to worry, just a little. The third day, he almost thinks himself into a mental breakdown. The fourth day, he demands to see the manager.
"Mr. Jeon." The manager greets with a smile that was clearly fake. Jeongguk thought back to Y/N, who never smiled much but when she did, it was honest and pure and breathtaking. He misses it and would do whatever it takes to get it back.
"Where is Y/N?" He demands, voice and gaze equally cold and intimidating. It's a side of him that she broke through within minutes, digging up the real Jeongguk and pulling him to the surface. The past months, he's been able to breathe again, live instead of just existing, waiting for the next person that wants his money. But that cold and calculating side of him is still there.
The manager pales and Jeongguk's worry increases. Did something happen to her? The manager shifts on his feet but still doesn't answer. "If you don't answer me within the next five seconds, I will call the owner and ask him to answer me."
"S-she was fired." The man stutters out.
Jeongguk feels his stomach drop. She never outright said it but he knows she depends heavily on the income from this job. It worries him, because he has this urge to take care of her. He wants to give her as much money as she needs, for her to live comfortably, but he knows she wouldn't take it. He glares at the manager, "Why?"
"Someone filed a complaint against her. She was getting to friendly with y-you." The manager says, looking a little terrified.
Jeongguk clenches his jaw, "And instead of asking me if I have a problem with it, you fired her?"
"Her contract says-"
Jeongguk stands up, towering over the man in height and size. "I don't give a shit what her contract says. How many times have I filed a complaint when the servers made me inappropriate offers and crude suggestions? I never once complained about her."
Jeongguk doesn't give the manager anymore time to do anything other than letting out a squeak before turning around and leaving the restaurant.
***
Five days after you were fired, you started too feel it. The absence of Jeongguk's presence. At first, you didn't notice it. To wrapped up in finding another job, worried about money and going to classes to think about it. But today is Sunday and the diner you found a temporary job at two days ago, is closed on Sundays. It's crappy pay and not alot of hours either but it was something and it'll help until you could get something else.
You lay on your bed, listening to your mom vacuuming the living room. University housing was expensive and you'd rather live at home and save the money than having even more debt. You laze the day away, knowing that none of the projects you have, is due that Monday. Your thoughts drift back to Jeongguk, like it always does. You honestly didn't think you'd end up missing him this much.
You like him, so fucking much. You figured it out a long time ago. You also know that you come from two different worlds. You are fine with that, you accepted it and you were content to be his friend.
Now he's completely gone from your life. Ripped out of it without warning.
You go to your classes the next day. In your last one, you doodle absentmindedly on the corner of your notebook, only half listening to the Professor. When the class is over, you look at what you drew and then groan out loud. Jeongguk's initials. Of fucking course. You scoff to yourself, leaving the class and then the building. You want to go home and sulk in privacy.
Outside, the sun was shining and you stood still for a moment, soaking in the warmth.
"Y/N!" A voice yelled your name and your head whips in the direction because you know that voice. You look, eyes searching desperately because you are so sure it was his voice. You're not hallucinating and- and there he is, running over to you.
"Jeongguk? What are you doing here?" You ask when he stops infront of you, completely bewildered.
He looks panicked and frantic. Like that day he snapped at you. He grips your shoulders, the hold almost painful. "You weren't there. I went to the restaurant and you weren't there and the manager told me you were fired and-"
"Jeongguk, stop. Breathe." You say, reaching up to hold onto his wrists, lightly rubbing your thumbs over the inside of his wrists. You wait until his grip loosens, until he was holding instead of gripping. "How did you find me?"
"You told me where you go to school one day." He answers off handedly, eyes scanning over your face, almost as if memorising the little details. Guilt flashes on his face, "I'm sorry you were fired."
You laugh at his words, removing his hands from your shoulders because it was getting a little too intimate, your heartbeat speeding up. "You know, half the time I see you, you end up apologizing to me."
"Hey, it's weird for me too." Jeongguk pouts and you have this urge to rise on your tiptoes and kiss it. "I'm not used to apologizing."
"Don't worry about it, I'm not angry." You wave him off.
"Can we talk?" He pleads and you agree immediately because you missed him so much.
"Yeah, there's a park nearby."
"Scared to be seen with me?" He teases with a smirk, and for a moment it's like nothing has changed.
You snort, "Don't you know? The walls has ears and Twitter accounts."
Jeongguk laughs, loud and unrestrained, throwing his head back. You couldn't help but smile. "This way."
You guide him to the park. It wasn't very big, and not a lot of people came here either, so it was perfect to talk. You each sit down on a swing.
"What are you gonna do now?" Jeongguk asks.
You shrug, "No clue, but I'll figure something out."
A guilty look spreads on his face again, "I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have-"
You cut him off, "Shouldn't have what? Let a server talk back to you? Yeah, probably not but we both enjoyed it, so it's on you as much it is on you. More on me though, because it was my responsibility as an employee to treat you with respect."
"You did," Jeongguk says immediately, sincerely. "Even when you were at your most brutally honest moments."
You give him a slight smile. "Well, fun as it was, it seems our path has come to an end."
"Why?" Jeongguk frowns heavily at you.
"Huh?"
Jeongguk looks you in the eye, gaze piercing. "Why does it have to end?"
You snorted, thinking he was messing with you but his eyes were completely serious. You answer in a matter-of-fact tone, "Because you're you and I'm me. Besides, most of the time we argued."
"Y/N." He says your name like it is his greatest wish. He stands up from his swing, making his way infront of you and pulled you to your feet. He looks at you, eyes impossibly fond, "That wasn't arguing. It was banter. If you think that's arguing, you probably think my parents goes to war every now and again." He smiles, a little nervous. "And foe the record, I would rather argue with you for the rest of my life than ever kiss another girl again."
Your mouth drops open in shock, and you really don't know what the fuck to make of that. "I-"
He cuts you off, "And I don't want this to be over."
Silence falls between you two. You stare at him, he stares back. Until, finally, you blurt, "I don't know what to say."
Jeongguk is a little bit disappointed, but not surprised in the slightest. At least it isn't an outright rejection. "You don't have to say anything. Just answer one question."
"Okay?"
"Would you want to date me?" You choke on thin air from shock. That means that he feels the same way as you do, right? Happiness makes your blood sing. Then it sinks in and reality comes back to you. Your happiness evaporates and you swallow thickly. You open your mouth to tell him 'no', but once again Jeongguk cuts you off before you could say something. "Forget about our social status, forget about what people would say and think about me and you. Together. Really think about it. I have, and I think we could work, if you gave it a chance."
"And if it doesn't work?" You ask softly, vulnerable in a way you've never been before. Distantly you wonder how he knew what you were thinking.
"Then at least we can say we tried." He shrugs.
You look down at the ground, wanting to think without looking at him, into those mesmerizing eyes of his. He could ask you to commit murder, and chances are that you'll do it if he looks at you long enough. When did you become so completely gone for him? You think about it, but there was never a moment where you realised, this is the person I like. Maybe . . . maybe it's because you've always liked him. Right from the start, even when he was infuriating. The thought is startling, but you aren't scared by it. It's more like another piece of the puzzle between you and Jeongguk has fallen into place. But there is the problem of your different social statuses. Yeah, Jeongguk said forget about it, but for how long? If you try and this does work out, then eventually you'll have to face the reality of everything that comes with being together. Somehow that scares you more than if it doesn't work.
You look back up at him, and you know – despite all your worries and doubts – it was never really a choice because you choose Jeongguk the moment you chose to accept his offer of being honest all those months ago. "Okay."
Jeongguk looks like he's ready to argue, "I-" You watch as your answer sinks in. The stunned expression almost makes you laugh, "What?"
"Did you want me to say no?" You give him an amused look, smile curling the corners of your lips upwards.
His eyes widens and he shakes his head frantically, "No, no, no, I just wasn't expecting you to say yes to quickly."
"That makes two of us." You admit. Jeongguk is right though, better to try and either fail or succeed, or never try and forever wonder what if. You smile up at him, heart soaring happily. "You make a good case. You should have become a lawyer."
Jeongguk's eyes light up, "Just wait until you hear the case I have to make on why we should kiss."
"Tell you what, if you kiss me within the next three seconds, you don't have to make a case at all." You bargained with a grin.
Jeongguk didn't need to be told twice. He leaned close and kissed you, slow and deep, one hand slipping into your hair and the other curling around your waist, pulling you close to him. He breaks the kiss, licking his lips and your eyes are drawn to the action. You lick your own lips, liking the taste of him. His voice is deep and rough, his cheeks flushed, when he asks, "Want to go get something to drink?"
"Yeah," You nod with a goofy smile, your own cheeks also flushed, feeling like you might float away at any second. "I could go for a smoothie."
"I love smoothies." Jeongguk grins back at you, taking your hand, lacing your fingers. His other hand was still wrapped around your waist and hold you close.
An old question flashes across your mind as you run your hands up his chest, liking the strong, study feel of it, until you can lock your arms around his neck. "You know, I've been meaning to ask."
"Mmm?" Jeongguk hummed in acknowledgement, showing that he was listening.
"Why didn't you get me fired that first day?" You ask, aware that you are suppose to be getting smoothies but it could wait for a bit.
Jeongguk had been expecting this question for a while, and had come up with an answer a long time ago. He looks down at her with all he feels for her, a content smile on his lips.
"Because you were the first honest person I have met in years. Because you put me in my place without thinking twice. Because when you glared down at me after I changed my order for the sixth time, there was a fire in your eyes that woke something inside of me that I couldn't control. Not then and not now." He leaned down, rubbing his nose against hers, the gesture shy and intimate. "Because the fact is, you had me at 'indecisive snot'."
the end.
A/N: Tumblr and it's 250 box limit will be the death of me, I swear. I get it, I do. But come on! This very almost didn't fit, I had to edit and mush several chapters into one. Eventually it fit, but NEVER AGAIN! It was exhausting and time consuming. I'll rather split it again, like I did with two of my other fics. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed. This took me a while with all the editing. Purple hearts for all of you!! -Kayla.

It's the small things- part 2. Josiah Trelawny/Arthur Morgan
Some more thoughts on this relationship, because I can ^^
• Arthur loves getting injured, not for the pain, but for what happens after. He never really gets affection of the comfort kind. Dutch and Hosea, although both were brilliant fathers, were also harsh in their upbringing. They didn't coddle him, and they won't today. But when he gets injured, Josiah turns into something he's always needed: a comforting hand. He yearns for it, to have someone fuss, and kiss and touch like he's breakable. Like he's precious. Arthur loves getting injured, because for a short while, he feels like he's worth more than the gun on his hip.
• Josiah loves dancing, Arthur has two left feet, but he tries for Josiah, because when Josiah dances he lights up like a lantern festival, bright beautiful and, of course, magical.
• Arthur loves camping, Josiah hates it, but he has curbed that dislike if only for Arthur. And there are a few perks out there in the wilderness. They have 100% privacy for one and Josiah takes some serious advantage of that. They can't be bothered to do jobs, something Arthur seems to appreciate, his simple nature wishes for a simple life, and Josiah will oblige as much as he's able. But really, he just loves seeing Arthur in his element: against the backdrop of the American wilderness with a look in his eyes that yearns for adventure and a life bereft of troubles.
• They both love horses. Arthur loves them all: big, small, strong, docile, spirited, they each have something he can adore. Just being near them makes him happy, makes him feel comfortable and calm. Josiah loves them too, but he loves one rather than many, and always the odd ducks of the herd. Josiah dotes on that poor animal like a child, and his horses always seem to become a little more human than is usual. Arthur sometimes does wonder if Josiah has some real magic in him.
• Josiah is never speechless. No matter how shocked, angry, or flabbergasted he is, there is always, no matter what an answer waiting on his tongue. Arthur has tried to leave him speechless: from shocking him with expensive gifts, to using his mouth in interesting ways. But he's never managed to bring that tongue to a complete stand still. One day, he knows he will. And he'll treasure that moment forever.
• Arthur can make the world a brighter place. Where Josiah needs magic and tricks to do so, simply through action and kindness can Arthur bring joy to those around him. It's what made him fall in love with the big oaf and the reason he clings so viciously. Arthur, makes him feel happy, accepted, wanted. Loved. Without even speaking a word.
• The day Arthur finally managed to make Josiah speechless, he felt no joy, only remorse.
They'd been arguing, this time about Josiah's tendency to disappear at random intervals. Arthur had felt betrayed, angry at Dutch, angry at their situation, and by extension angry at Josiah. The words had been spurred on by rage, and if he was honest, due to a silent doubt that the man was even who he said he was.
"How do I even know your real name is Josiah Trelawny! Is it something else you just made up? Like all the other damned cons in your life?"
The words had landed like a bomb. Josiah's expression had faltered, struck in a state of complete shock, a silence fell between them thick enough to muffle the world. Arthur felt his throat go tight, his anger dim and fear claw up his throat.
"Josi," he tried, soft and uncertain. Josiah's eyes flicked up to him, eyes confused, fearful, even pained. The expression had been too painful to bear, and Arthur dragged him into a hug. He didn't fight it, didn't say a word, only pressed close and swallowed down a hitch in his breath.
Arthurs still wonders why the subject of his name would strike him so hard, but vowed that day that he'd never bring up his name again.

Promise Me | Yandere! Nakamoto Yuta X Fem!Reader
Warning : 18+, possessive, foul behaviours, sexual content(nothing biggie), mental illness, death, etc. No proofread. Please, don't be too harsh on me. I'm still new and this is my first ever one shot/fanfiction here :)
Word count : 2.4k+
"Could you just stop?" Y/n whisper shouted at her seatmate who had been bothering her since this morning.
It's not like this is new to her or to anyone in their class but today, he seemed to be more clingy and touchy than he usually was and she found it quite unusual.
By the time she stepped into the school campus this morning, he abandoned his game with his friends on the soccer field just to greet her with his dashing smile and a nice warm hug.
She didn't mind it at first as she was already used to it but when she thought he's going to leave her alone after that, he followed her around instead like a lost puppy. She could almost see a furry tail happily wagging behind him.
Everywhere she goes, he's there right beside her. Either his hands were holding hers or his arms were wrapped around her lower waist. Some people were jealous or happy when they thought they're finally officially together and when someone questioned their relationship, Y/n would immediately respond saying they're just friends while Yuta would say otherwise, leaving them confused.
He was still attached to her during her classes and even ditched his just to be with her. The teachers could only sigh in defeat and shake their head. They knew that whatever they say, there's nothing they can do to make the stubborn guy follow their orders.
At the end, he'd always get what he wants.
The Japanese boy glanced at her side profile. His head was laying on top of his other hand. Seeing her brows furrowed irritatedly, he stopped for a moment before continuing to twirl a few strands of her silky hair between his long fingers.
It doesn't look like he has any plans of keeping his hands to himself at all. She'd been trying to get rid of him for countless times and she failed with all of those useless attempts. She's so close of getting angry at him but she doesn't want to lash out on him and seem like a bad person.
With her another sigh passing through her soft reddish lips, she looked at the clock on the wall. ‘Just five minutes more, Y/n. Just a little more patience, you can do it.’ she tried to convince herself. By those five minutes, she let Yuta play with her hair.
When the school bells rang and echoed around the campus, she immediately fixed her things and rushed out of the classroom before the teacher could even dismiss them. The corridors are already crowded and she could only hope that Yuta wouldn't be able to follow after her this time.
She decided to go to the restroom and stayed there until she was certain that Yuta's nowhere around her. He's really acting weird and she couldn't understand why. Whenever she asked what's wrong with him, he'd always say the same thing like 'I'm fine. It's all in your mind.’
His gaze, the way he looks at her also felt different this time. She felt something uneasy somewhere in the pit of her stomach or maybe there's something wrong with 𝘩𝘦𝘳. Maybe she's just overthinking way too much since that's what she always do mostly when she doesn't get enough sleep and she stayed up late last night.
That's right... these shit are all just in her head.
She released an exhausted sigh and turned the faucet on to wash her face, hoping that it would also wash her frustrations away. She reached for a handkerchief from her bag and wiped her face dry as she made her way out of the comfort room.
Her heart almost jumped out of her ribs when she found Yuta standing just a single step from the exit. She gasped and her hand immediately flew to her chest in surprise. "Yah! Stop scaring me like that!" she yelled and he only chuckled in amusement.
"I've been waiting for you. What took you so long?" he asked her, locking his hand on hers as he lead her to the canteen. Eyes of the people they passed by were immediately on them like they're more interesting than the lessons that their teachers taught them.
"Wait, why were you waiting for me?" confusion was evident on her face.
"So we can eat together for lunch, of course. Come on, we don't have all the time. Classes are going to start after forty minutes." he casually said, pulling her closer to him when they walked passed a group of boys and he didn't fail to notice the way they looked at Y/n.
He didn't like it, not even a bit.
Y/n seriously couldn't count how many times she sighed at how she always end up letting Yuta do whatever he wanted to do with her. From the simple hand holds to sudden random kisses that he pepper on her face. No matter how hard she tried to push him off, he'd always stick himself even more closer to her.
It was like that for the passed weeks and it was honestly so tiring as hell. Yuta just won't leave her alone even when she goes to the restroom, he would insist to wait outside the cubicle that she had to push him away and lock the main door of the room.
She could barely talk to other people peacefully as he would shoo them away immediately and ask them to leave her alone. It was so frustrating and she's getting fed up of his unexplained foolish practices.
She's well aware that the guy likes her more than just a friend and she also can't deny that she's attracted to him but these behaviours of his are just too much for her.
The said dirty blonde haired Japanese guy was sitting closely beside her, his chin rested on her right shoulder as he watched her turn pages of the book that she's reading. He wasn't paying attention to the words written on the dead leaves. His eyes stared at her small hands, wondering how they would feel like around his cock—
"Yuta." the guy's ears perked up when she said his name. Snaking his arms around her waist, he pulled her to his chest and planted a kiss on her neck. Her cheeks heated at the unexpected skin contact but she tried her best to ignore the butterflies that he's giving her.
She's planning to finally confront him and she had to make him stop whatever he's doing cuz it's no fun at all. It's not entertaining and she's not amused at all. "Yuta." he hummed, his kisses getting wet and he started to graze his teeth on her skin, lightly nibbling on them until he finally bit hard enough to leave a mark.
A whimper tried to escape her mouth but she's fast enough to bite her lower lip, trapping the sound until it disappeared on it's own. He was disappointed when she didn't make any sound for him, thinking that he didn't do well enough to make her feel good so he ran the tip of his tongue on her neck.
His hot minty breath heated her skin and tingles spread around her body when he blew her sensitive ear, nibbling her earlobe and placing a kiss on one of her flushed cheeks. His hands wandered under her blouse, caressing the side of her hips with his thumb.
He slowly dragged his large hands up under her breasts and just when he was about to touch them, Y/n pulled away from him. A low whine and groan simultaneously erupted from him, complaining at the lose of skin contact from her.
Y/n looked around the library if someone saw them and she was thankful that no one was there but only them. She straightened her blouse, closing the book and stood up. "Where are you going?" he also stood up from his seat, ready to follow her wherever she's going.
She didn't answer him. She slung one of her bag's strap on her shoulder, walking away with the book and placed it back to where she took it. Yuta was quick to keep up with her steps, confused of why she was suddenly in a hurry.
When they finally got out of the library, she stopped at the nearby bleachers where students barely pass by and turned to him with an exasperated sigh, "Yuta, seriously, what's wrong with you?" the way she questioned him came out more stressed out than how she wanted it to be.
Yuta blinked his eyes a few times as if he's trying to figure out what she meant. "What do you mean, what's wrong with me? I'm totally fine. Are you okay?" it was his turn to ask her, walked close to her and placed a hand on her forehead.
"Are you sick? You don't seem fine to me. Let me take you to the clinic—"
"Yuta, stop." she stepped away from him before he could even hold her hand. He halted, his brows met as his eyes stared at her worryingly.
"Stop whatever you're doing to me and please, leave me alone. I also need some time for myself and other people around me, alright? You can't keep me from interacting with anyone. This is honestly suffocating, Yuta. We can't keep doing this."
He felt like his heart shattered into tiny pieces. His chest tightened and his airways narrowed, making him unable to breath properly. Without him knowing, tears were already streaming down his cheeks.
Y/n was taken aback at this, immediately feeling guilty for making him cry. She didn't expect him to be this emotional for his appearance.
"Look, I'm sorry but—"
"D-don't you love me anymore, Y/n?" He didn't let her finish her words, leaving her speechless at the question.
Her mouth left agape, struggling to find the right words to tell him. "Did you find someone else better than me that's why you're planning to leave me, is that it?" more salty water poured out of his eyes.
"Yuta, w-what are you talking about? We're not in a relationship to begin with."
"Then let's be together officially! Just you and me, Y/n. I'll do anything just to be with you. I promise, I'll be the best boyfriend you'll ever have. I'll give you everything you want—" he held her arms, "—just promise me I'll be the only one you'll ever love and want to be with. Promise me, Y/n. Promise me!"
Yuta secured his arms around her, holding onto her desperately. Scared that if he lets go, he might lose her. He can't let that happen. Like what he said, he'll do whatever it takes just to have her.
All for himself.
"Y-you have to promise me, Y/n."
Her head was clouded with a lot of thoughts. She was barely thinking straight and her emotions also messed up with her. She really likes Yuta. The increasing speed of her heartbeat and the butterflies flying around her stomach with euphoria whenever she's with him didn't lie at all but it felt wrong.
These feelings didn't feel right.
She pulled herself away from him and shook her head. "I'm sorry, Yuta..." that was all she said before she left him without even looking back at him.
She had no idea how it broke him and how it made him do things that a normal person wouldn't do. He saw nothing but red after she disappeared from his sight. Everyone who tried to touch or talk to her the next day suddenly disappeared, a minute after they left somewhere else.
At first, she didn't think much about it until the number of people disappearing quickly increased and made everyone alarmed. All schools around the place were forced to close for a moment and people were told to stay at home with tight security to keep them safe.
Everyone was scared including Y/n, of course.
It made her so anxious that she could barely sleep at night. One morning, a knock on her door echoed around her silent apartment and she panicked, quickly hiding on her bedroom.
She almost peed her pants in fear when the knocking and ringing of doorbells continued for minutes. Her phone went off on her nightstand and she ran to it. Yuta's calling.
Without a second thought, she answered it with trembling voice. "Y-yuta..."
"Y/n, are you okay? Please open your door for me, I have to make sure you're safe. I'm the one outside your house."
And that was all it took for him to be with her. Make her scared to be outside, convince her that everyone is dangerous and he's the only one who can protect her.
Whenever he goes outside to buy food and other necessities for the both of them, he'd always return with a small cut or bruises and it made Y/n scared that she might lose him too.
He's all she had left.
He made her thought of that. He's all and everything she could ever need. She'd be nothing without him.
"Do you love me?" he asked and she nodded silently.
"If you really do, promise me that you'll love me and only me, Y/n. I wanna hear it from you." Yuta looked at her straight in the eyes when he said those words.
"I promise." his heart raced inside his chest.
A smile stretched out on his plump lips. "I love you, Y/n. So much than you could ever imagine." He meant it. He always had and always will. He leaned his body closer to her, locking his lips with hers and they moved in sync.
This is paradise to him.
He couldn't explain how much happy he's right now. With her here in his arms, it's the only place where she's safe. He watched her drift off to sleep, he kissed her forehead when her eyes finally closed.
He could look at her like this forever. The love bites that he painted on her skin looks so beautiful. She's like the most beautiful painting he'd ever seen and she deserve to be placed on his art gallery but she's only for him to be looked at.
He sighed dreamily as he continued to press more kisses on her neck. He successfully made her love him. There's nothing he could ask for, now that her naked body is already tangled with him under their soft blanket.
He could only hope that she'd keep her words and stay true to him.
Feedbacks are pretty much appreciated and requests are open! Feel free to share your thoughts!

Ixchel stares at the letter for quite some time after she reaches its end (a simple enough signature: Sebastian), one hand raised pensively to her lips, a frown wrinkling her brow.
Until now, the poetry of the Prince's letters could be ascribed to his learned nature, the religious verse he was raised with, the grandeur of a noble. They often spoke in hyperbole, she had found over the years, especially those who played at the Grand Game. Starkhaven was not so far removed from its Orlesian allies to be free of such influence, and so for much of their correspondence Ixchel had squinted past the flowery prose and replied directly to the needs and questions layered beneath.
But with this last line, she can no longer deny what she has absolutely not allowed herself to believe to this point.
Sebastian Vael, Prince of Starkhaven, is courting her.
She slowly lowers this latest missive and looks over at the bundle of letters sent by the same man over the past several years. She has kept them all—she keeps all her letters, organized by sender—and realizes, with no small amount of chagrin, that its volume is only rivaled by the letters Dorian has sent her since they parted.
Dorian, at least, will be pleased to know that he still wins out by leagues and miles.
He'll be even more pleased to know he has more material to taunt her with.
Ixchel rubs her thumb across her lip, then begins to chew on her knuckle as she sinks down in her chair. She must reconsider everything Sebastian has ever said to her. When did this begin? She had suspected it, that long night as she helped him wrangle his son to bed. They had sat so far apart, tag-teaming a tale of adventure fit to send the child to sleep, and had talked so long into the night that it was hard not to imagine a fondness growing between them. He had pushed her hair behind her ear so gently, when he walked her back to her rooms—perhaps it had been then, that his affections had been sparked?
It warmed her somewhat to think that it was her love for his child that had inspired this pursuit. But Varric had also been teasing her about Sebastian's attention for much longer than even that.
She mentally leafs through his previous letters, her chest tightening as certain turns of phrase leap out to her. None, none at all, were so close to being a declaration of intent or love as this one, but if she stripped away the Andrastianisms, there was a warmth and earnestness to each message. He wished her well, and wanted to know what things made her happy, and what she loved about the world. He offered her his thoughts, valued her advice and offered his own. He remembered little things, like the changes she had made to her armor between visit to Starkhaven, and how she had been struggling with phantom pains in her arm in the summer months when she missed Solas the most.
A small laugh burst out from Ixchel, taking her entirely by surprise. She covered her face in her hands and bowed over her desk with her breath shaking in the wake of the startling mix of emotions in her breast.
"For I have never known such a wondrous thing in all my life as you."
How in the world was she supposed to respond to that?

Nunky! (Modern!Ivar x reader - Modern!Ivar x OCs niece and nephew)
A/N: This is my entry to @flowers-in-your-hayr 650 Followers Celebration 🎉 Congrats again, love 🌸 And thanks for this amazing moodboard 😍
I'm awfully late, sorry about that. The truth is, do you know what it is to struggle? Let me tell you: there were three other drafts before this final version. More than 4000 words... All trashed...
Anyway, I'm quite happy with this one, that's all that matters.
@geekandbooknerd, thanks for beta reading this for me 🌺
Let me know if you want to be tagged 😊
Divider by @firefly-graphics
Summary: Ever wonder what kind of uncle Ivar would be? Let me show you 😉
Warnings: fluff, fluff, fluff 🙈
Words: 1978
"We're going to play Pete the Cat or Sneaky Snacky Squirrel Game, you in?" He shouts at you from the deck.
Lazily lying on a sunbed in the shade of an oak, you don't bother opening your eyes. As much as you love board games, there's no way you're leaving this perfect spot. Not yet, and certainly not for the next two hours.
"No, I'm good." You shake your head for emphasis, even if you're not sure he can see you.
"Okay lovebug, see you later," he says tenderly before changing his tone, "All right kiddos, get ready to lose!"
You let out a chuckle as Viola and Soren, feeling offended, express loudly their discontent. And you can't help but laugh. You know he's going to let them win anyway. He may be a sore loser who hates to lose and would do anything to win, whether in business or in a game, but things are different when it comes to his niece and nephew. That's just how much he loves them.
Your multi-faceted lover…
To the world, he is Ivar Ragnarsson, the crippled son – and true heir – of the mighty Ragnar Lothbrok, and, till last year – till you – Scandinavia's richest and most eligible bachelor, and all this in spite of his legs.
To his employees and business partners, he's an arrogant, cranky, demanding, cold-hearted, smart as hell, and very successful business tycoon. Oh, if they could see him right now, they wouldn't believe their eyes. No dress shirt, no suit pants, no blazer. With a backwards baseball cap, a basic black tee-shirt and stonewashed jeans, he looks more like a boy than a crafty businessman.
To you, he's the man you've been in love with for eight months; a complex human being, for sure, full of contradictions: so self-confident and yet in some ways so self-conscious; outwardly tough but at times so incredibly vulnerable. You won't lie, he can be infuriating; he's stubborn, strong-headed and short tempered. But he's awfully clever, deadpan and… well... devastatingly handsome, with his impossibly beautiful features and his otherworldly icy blue eyes. He's a fantastic lover too, unexpectedly caring and attentive, loyal and faithful.
To Viola and Soren, his favorite brother's children, he's Uncle Ivar – or Nunky, as Viola calls him – the best uncle ever, funny and mischievous, loving and supportive. He's always ready to go out of his way to teach them all the cool stuff kids are supposed to know; silly jokes, riddles and magic tricks. He's their favorite babysitter, the one who is completely devoted to them, the one who feeds them ice cream and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, before reminding them conspiratorially, with a finger on his lips: "You know the deal, sweet peas! Not a word to your mom."
You remember as if it were yesterday your first meeting with them.
Soren, chocolate all over his face, greets you with a big smile, immediately asking you if you want to play hide-and-seek with them. On the other hand, Viola looks at you from head to toe, scrutinizing you intensely. With her lips pursed and her brows creased, she doesn't seem very pleased, to say the least. The seconds tick by and finally, placing her tiny hands on her hips, the little girl takes a deep breath. "I don't want to play with her. I don't like her." The hostility in her tone can't be missed.
Speechless, you look at Viola with wide open eyes. You usually have a way with kids and are honestly a little stunned by such an unfriendly welcome.
"Viola, please…" Ivar grumbles, rolling his eyes, but he doesn't have time to say another word. "No, Nunky! You told me she was your lover!" Ah, now you're beginning to see her problem, and it brings a small smile on your lips.
Viola points an accusing finger towards you. "Are you Nunky's lover?"
You nod playfully but Viola doesn't seem the least bit amused. "That's why I don't like you. And just so you know, you may be Nunky's lover now, but I'm going to marry him. I just have to wait a little," she frowns, thoroughly concentrated, "I need to be a little older, maybe like… that," she stretches out the fingers of both hands in front of her, "but Nunky is going to marry me. Me, not you. So, you might as well leave right now."
You struggle to hold back your laughter, aware that this is a very serious matter for her.
"Come here, baby girl." Rubbing a hand over his face, Ivar pats his knees and then helps his niece as she climbs onto his lap. "We've talked about this, little bird, remember? We're not getting married, not in ten years, not ever." He speaks so softly, and there's so much love in his eyes, you feel like you're melting.
"But, I lo–" Viola interjects with a pout, but Ivar stops her, shaking his head. "There's no buts, baby love. Uncles do not marry nieces. That's the way it is and that's how it must be. And yes," he looks at you fondly, "Y/N is my lover. But it doesn't change anything. I'm not going anywhere, Viola. I'll always be in your life. I love you." He gently ruffles Soren's hair. "I love you both. You have no idea how much I love you."
You must have dozed off and are awakened by Viola high-pitched squeals of joy. "Oh yeah, let's go into the backyard." Hmph! Looks like you're going to have company. Bye bye peacefulness.
Well, so be it.
Yawning, you stretch like a cat before sitting up. Ivar and the kids are on the deck and you wave at them. Soren casts you a broad smile and takes two steps towards the backyard but Viola stops him.
"Wait, Soren! Nunky," you don't need to see her to know that she's blinking her big, beautiful blue eyes at Ivar, "please, we are tired. Right Soren?"
Viola's brother nods tentatively as Ivar bursts out laughing. "Is that so, munchkin?" Putting on a thinking face, he stares blanky up in the air for a second or two, tapping a forefinger on his chin. "Let me guess, you want a ride, baby girl? Soren, buddy boy, would you mind fetching the princess's carriage for me, please?"
At this point, you know exactly what is going to happen, yet it never ceases to amaze you. And as sure as the sun rises from the east, the next moment Soren is pushing a wheelchair in front of him, coming to a halt next to his uncle. Ivar immediately sits down, slipping his crutch into the intended holder attached to the backrest.
Reaching out, he now gently grabs Viola's wrist. "Your carriage awaits, princess." The little girl climbs very carefully onto his lap before wrapping her chubby arms around his neck.
Ivar pulls her closer, "Hold tight, princess!" and as soon as he's sure she's securely seated, he grabs his push rims and pops a wheelie, Viola bursting with laughter. He then looks at Soren, cracking him a smile. "I'll give you a ride too, bumblebee, stay put."
Soren, older than Viola and always overprotective when it comes to his beloved uncle, frowns, concern all over his boyish face. "You sure I'm not too heavy now? I'm over fifty-five pounds, you know?"
Ivar laughs, an easy smile on his plump lips. "Don't worry, I'll be just fine." A smile tugging up the corner of his mouth and Viola giggling on his lap, he rolls towards the wide wooden ramp leading to the backyard.
Ivar hates using his wheelchair. He despises it. He's very secretive about it. The truth is, it took him two months to tell you that he sometimes needed one and another two months to actually use it in front of you.
He hates it so much that he would rather crawl than use it. Actually, that's what he does every night, after taking off his leg braces.
Yet, he keeps his old wheelchair here, at his brother's house. For recreational purposes only; or in other words for Viola's and Soren's enjoyment. And he gives them rides, up and down the ramp, sometimes for hours, popping wheelies here and there. Because Viola and Soren love that and it makes them laugh. Because he would do everything and anything to make them happy.
That's just how much he loves them.
Ivar pulls a sunbed next to you and flops down on it, stifling a hiss of pain. "Where are the kids?" Raising yourself up on one elbow, you kiss him, your free hand gently stroking the tight muscles of his right thigh.
Rubbing his eyes tiredly, he kisses you back. "Gathering the things they want to take to the beach."
You want to give him a disapproving look, but you won't. You know better. You know him.
He shouldn't go to the beach. Not today. He woke up in pain this morning. Walking in the sand is a struggle even on good days. He'll pay for it later. You know he knows it. And you know he'll do it no matter what, and whatever it takes.
Because that, he can do.
Sometimes, you catch a hint of sadness in his eyes. When Soren and Viola are running and he can't run after them, because running is simply not an option for him. When they are jumping on the trampoline and he can't join them, because it would end with broken bones. When they are playing football, or riding a bike, or skating. When they are tree climbing, or playing gunny sack race, or rock climbing, or playing hopscotch, or skipping rope, or dancing, or…
But walking in the sand, even if not easy, that, he can do.
He's going to struggle all the way – wincing, hissing, silently swearing, even dragging his right leg with his hand if necessary – until they reach their favorite spot, a small cove shielded from the wind, with marvelous pebbles and smooth sand. And he will sit for hours, his legs aching, making sandcastles even though, even as a child, he didn't like that. Because it doesn't matter. Because Soren and Viola matter. And the sparkle in their eyes will bring a smile to his face. Their laughter will make it all worthwhile.
Yeah, this is what he's going to do, for Soren's and Viola's happiness. And you know there's nothing you can say or do that is going to change his mind.
That's just how much he loves them.
⚔️"What are you thinking about, love?" Ivar's soft voice pulls you out of your thoughts as he wraps his arm around your shoulders.
"I was thinking what a fantastic uncle you are." You reply genuinely, your thumb grazing his cheek. "And what a fantastic father you will be one day. The father of our kids."
Ivar blinks several times. You know that no matter how many times you tell him, he still finds it hard to believe that you want to make a life with him; marry him; carry his children.
"This…" His voice trembles and he lowers his gaze, "this is really what you want?"
"Of course, it is, my love." You reassure him for the thousandth time, peppering his jaw with light kisses. "Negotiations with Viola will doubtless be tough, though…" You chuckle, your fingers threading through his hair as he nods. "But let me tell you a secret," you can feel his hot breath on your ear, "you've already won, love." He offers you a breathtaking, mind-blowing smile and then his mouth finds yours and he kisses you and it feels like you're alone in the world, nothing matters but your shared love, nothing exists but him, nothing counts anymore, nothing, nothing, nothing...
"NUNKYYYYY!!!!"
Well… You may have spoken too soon…

another fic title -promises cast aside
Promises, Promises -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, stranger, and welcome. Tell me who you are, and why you've come, and what I can do to make you happy.
Truth be told, there isn't much that rattles Punz, something he rather prides himself on. He's stared down death a hundred times and laughed, reflecting it back at its sender like a badminton player executing a killer serve. Even the sight of the blasted valley and the red web that had grown over it hadn't been worth much more than a raised eyebrow. But hearing those words, plain and perfectly sincere, from the thing that pulses at the center of the cavern like a beating heart, leaves him feeling lost and uncertain, struck nearly speechless.
"I'm..."
Punz, yes. And you don't have to speak. It's better if we converse this way, anyway...we wouldn't want your nosy companion up above to overhear, would we? Not yet, at least.
Right. Is it right? It feels right enough. Sam's been nothing but...
A liar and a hypocrite of the highest degree. And a thief besides. But he's made a mistake, hasn't he? He's brought you to me. Would you like me to tell you why you're here, Punz?
How would you know?
Because you've told me. You've already told me everything about you.
What the fuck are you talking about? We just fucking got here, how could I--
You're here because you broke a promise, to the only one in the world who means anything to you. You promised your brother that no matter what, it would be you and him against the world. But he couldn't keep up with you, could he? Your ambitions were too big to achieve with a child dragging behind you like an anchor. So you left him behind.
Fuck you, Punz snarls. You don't understand anything! It was for him, for both of us. I came back for him--
And when you did, you found him gone, didn't you? Found him in the home of a man who betrayed you, who dedicated his life to the service of the bastards who think that they own the world. How much do you want to bet that he'll have your brother working for them before long? Before he looks to them as family before he so much as glances at you? Images flash through Punz's mind, bitter as alkali: his brother at eight and himself at sixteen, scrabbling for scraps on the streets of another nameless city; his brother at twelve, fighting by his side with the knives he'd made for him, a natural even at that early age; at fifteen, lying fevered in a guest bed in Sam's clockwork eyesore of a house, hovered over by the laughing idiot of a Royal doctor his former friend had taken for a lover, snarling at Sam in his gleaming traitor's armor that he's taking his brother home, he needs me, and Sam shouting back Is this what he needs? He was shot looking for you!
I can give your brother back to you, the thing says. And I can give you both so much more. You'll never go another day wondering where your next meal is to come from, or who means to stab you in the back. The world that once cast you both aside will know your names, from the mightiest king to the meanest peasant...and they will fear you both.
The picture it paints for him is so vivid, so darkly compelling, that for a moment Punz forgets to breathe.
And what do you want from me in return? he thinks, with an effort. I'm not an idiot. Nothing comes without a price, right?
I think you'll find my price eminently reasonable, the thing says. And another thing: I don't lie, and I don't go back on my word. I will give you what you want: you and your brother, together, wanting for nothing, known by many and feared by all.
The thing speaks on, and Punz listens.

Soul ties - Part 10 (Bucky Barnes au)
“And when I felt like I was an old cardigan under someone's bed,
You put me on and said I was your favourite”
Word count : 1712
Going back to everyone wasn't even as awkward as you'd predicted ; what had just happened with Bucky was pretty obvious. Yet, all the guests decided to cheer you up and spend their night telling you jokes or just talking to you about random memories. When you went back to your room for good, you made sure Bucky walked you there : you were silently thanking Steve for giving you a room this far away from the others, since it gave you the opportunity to speak freely.
"So, about earlier," you started, "I think..."
"Hum, yeah. I get it must be complicated for you." He scratched the back of his head as you stopped in front of your bedroom door.
"It's not, actually." You looked him in the eyes. "I know exactly what I want."
Something gleamed in his eyes – a hint of hope, maybe.
"You do?" he asked. "I don't want you to be in this situation, so..."
"I swear," — you gently grabbed the front of his shirt – "I promise I know you're who I want." You lowered your gaze. "I'd be a fool to pretend otherwise."
Bucky tilted his head down to see you better, breathing on the tip of your nose. "This makes me...really happy." He kissed your nose, making you feel an instant warmth in your chest. "Now go get some rest. You've had an eventful night."
"You're right." You let go of him to grab the doorknob and turned around. "Wait, before I go..." You span and placed your hands on his shoulders to help you reach his height and planted a kiss on his lips again. "I really wanted to do this again."
You chuckled and left him at the door, quickly closing it behind you so that he wouldn't see you smiling like a teenager. Changing into your pyjamas, you were still unable to think about anything else than the first kiss you'd shared and the emotion it'd gifted you with. You chose not to go to sleep right away : you knew a knock on your door would come. Around twenty minutes afterwards, you were ready to open the door to your sister right after hearing her.
"So, that happened," she said when she sat on your bed. "How are you feeling?"
"Don't you already know that?" you teased. "I thought you were supposed to be a mind-reading enchantress or something. Your skills are getting rusty, sis."
Wanda couldn't help but laugh before asking her question again. "Seriously, I want to hear it from you, not from your thought process. It's too much of a mess anyway."
You rolled your eyes at the skies before sitting next to her. "It was... I don't know how to describe it." You shrugged. "It felt right."
"And what are you going to do about Darren? I heard you saying you were over, but are you actually doing it?"
You stopped to think for a moment. What would divorcing Darren concretely mean? You'd have to go through a divorce procedure, and you didn't know how those were supposed to go. Maybe you could ask Tony if he knew any good lawyers who might you out. But there was another thing you'd need to do.
"I'll go get my stuff tomorrow. I'm thinking of asking Tony if I can stay here...permanently."
You wrapped your hands around your legs and rested your chin on your knees.
"I'll go with you. I don't trust him."
"Thanks, Wanda."
Your sister hugged you tight before lying down next to you.
"I'm here for you. We're family," she noted. "Now get some sleep ; you need it."
You lay next to her and as it turned out, you fell asleep pretty fast. Maybe soulmates had that effect on people.
---
"He's not even here," you remarked. "Even after our fight last night, he doesn't bother showing up at his own apartment."
Darren's behaviour was already heating up your anger, and you were once again patting yourself on the shoulder for refusing both Steve and Sam's help that day. They would not have handled this by calming you down. Maybe Steve would've tried, but well, even he had his limits. Messing with his family was one of them.
Your sister followed you to your bedroom, where you dragged a suitcase from under your bed. When you opened it, Wanda's eyes lingered for a second : it wasn't empty.
"Were you packing for a trip?" she asked.
You looked away and shrugged. "I don't know if I was planning for a honeymoon or a bad fight," you admitted. "Turns out it's the latter." You kept running around the place, packing everything from your most random flannel shirt to your favourite coffee mug.
"I think I'm ready to go," you ended up saying as you closed your suitcase. "I'm- wait. Did you hear the door too?"
"Y/n?"
"Fuck." You looked at Wanda, who'd recognised Darren's voice as well. You walked out of the bedroom, your suitcase rolling behind you. Your husband's eyes fell on your luggage before going back to you. You tried searching for any trace of sadness on his face ; all you found was anger and disappointment.
"Where do you think you're going?" he asked. "And what is she doing here?"
"Wanda's here because she wanted to help me get as far away from you as possible," you replied. "My whereabouts are none of your business anymore."
"You can't just leave like that. You're still my wife, as far as I know."
"Not for long."
Darren's face got bright red as he went in the kitchen. You knew he was about to start yelling, so you went for the door. His arm stopped you ; you hadn't seen him turn around. He grabbed your wrist, causing you to let out a faint scream. Wanda didn't need any more excuses to use her abilities. She pinned him against the wall with a slight gesture of her hand.
"Don't you touch her again," she breathed. "You don't want me to use my full strength."
You could see Darren's nostrils flaring with anger and his fist clenching. You hated seeing him like this : some part of you still remembered the guy you'd fallen for several years earlier and you wished you could've made him stay like that.
"Don't blame yourself for his behaviour, y/n," Wanda told you, not looking away from Darren. "Trust me, this man can't be changed. He'll always be a douchebag."
Your sister let go of him and opened the apartment's door for you. You were finally stepping out of that place, walking away from Darren.
"So what?" you heard him yell. "You're just gonna go back to that weird staring guy?"
You turned around and stared at him. You were done looking down and letting him hurt you. "Stop."
"What is it, huh?" – He walked closer to you and you gestured towards Wanda to let her know you were okay. "Is he better in better in bed than I am? Because I highly doubt that any man could make a good one out of you."
"Wow, you got to this level of insults. I shouldn't be surprised, coming from you." You paused, unsure of what his reaction would be to your next words. "I'll have divorce papers sent to you."
His jaw dropped, your words leaving him speechless. HIs insults still left a bitter taste in your mouth as you did your best to hide your pain. You didn't think such a long relationship could end like this, in a heartbeat, in the drop of a coffee cup.
Going back to the compound seemed to take less time than it took going to Darren's place. You were looking out of the window in silence, even though you knew your sister was holding back her remarks about Darren : you didn't need mind-reading powers to know that.
"Go ahead. Tell me I should've seen it coming."
"I'm not going to tell you that. Believe it or not, I wish I'd been wrong about him."
You gave Wanda a side glance : her grip on the stirring wheel was stern but her eyes were filled with sympathy.
"But I should've seen it coming. Damn, I despised his friends the moment I met them and he's just like them."
Wanda chuckled, which seemed inappropriate at first. "You didn't see that coming."
These words forced a smile out of you. "He would kick his ass, wouldn't he?"
"Absolutely. And he wouldn't be gentle about it."
You fiddled with your fingers. "Moments like these... I miss him the most."
"I know." Your sister's hand grabbed yours for a second before going back to the wheel. Her voice had gotten a little shaky from the emotion. "I also know he would've liked Bucky for you."
"Maybe. I shouldn't rush into this, though."
"Wait, what?" Wanda was confused, it seemed. How could she not be?
"Wanda, I just got out of a long relationship. I'm not even divorced yet. Bucky deserves better than this mess of a situation."
"Oh c'mon, he won't care about that. Have you seen how the man looks at you?"
A grin made its way to your lips as you remembered the numerous occasions Bucky had laid his blue eyes on you, and yesterday, on your lips.
"I feel like I can't do this to him, you know? There are so many things I like about him, from the way he bothers pronouncing my name correctly, not the bland American way, to the habit he has of scratching his neck... You know, dumb stuff. But what do I have to offer him? I'm not..."
"Stop. That's Darren speaking, not you," your sister softly reprimanded you. "You're worth so much more than you think you are. I also know that the guy who's going to rush to you to make sure you're okay is falling in love with you, if he hasn't already. His mind is almost as big a mess as yours."
"Wow, that's a first," you joked, the mention of love making you anxious. "The mess thing, I mean."
"Yeah, sure," — she snickered – "the mess thing."
--- They're getting serious, guys! I hope this part was good and that you liked it. Part 11 will come soon. :)

🕊️: "the lost prince" (6)
park seonghwa (박성화) - 2,269 words
the lady came into the room as soon as she got the permission. she lowered her head a little, and Seonghwa and you bowed respectfully in front of her.
“you don't have to be this formal. and you can call me Iseul.”
she sat on a chair next to your boyfriend's bed. even her posture was showing how elegant and sophisticated she was.
“i wanted to come, because.. you know, news are spreading quite rapidly..”
“and so, you wanted to come and see the new city's attraction?”
Seonghwa sighed as he looked down. he felt deeply hurt — yet, he didn't let her speak.
“Seonghwa, honey, you should let her speak. don't be this rude. i know things are hard but no one would make fun of you.”
the tension in the atmosphere seemed to have increase so abruptly. Iseul was looking down, feeling almost guilty for coming here when the reasons that brought her here wasn't the ones Seonghwa talked about.
you softly grabbed Seonghwa's hand, to try and soothe him. your thumb was stroking his hand mindlessly.
the woman seemed to be waiting for something — and you weren't stupid: you knew she was waiting for a permission to keep going.
as you were still calming down Seonghwa, you mentioned her to keep going.
“to be honest with you Seonghwa.. i lost my child years ago. but i know that, somewhere else in this world, he's living. i just don't know where..”
the lady was looking at Seonghwa with a kind of protection in her eyes. she was talking about a tough time of her life, yet her eyes and whole face was showing off something else than sadness.
“i understand how you may feel. i understand how hard is it to have no family. since the day i lost my child, my husband is my only family. i believe you think this beautiful person by your side is your only family now? but you have a real family, blood related, waiting for you somwhere in this world. just as i'm waiting for my baby to come back home.”
a tear started to fall down your boyfriend's cheek, and then an another. you hated to see them. they were the physical representation of the pain he was feeling.
“how did you face the truth? there's one moment you have to accept the truth. you can't deny this for ever.”
“there is not a right way to do it. you know you had the choice when you realise you don't have the choice anymore.”
the woman was looking at Seonghwa. you knew she was sharing the same pain as him deep down.
“if you're indeed the lost prince.. i'm sure the King and the Queen are waiting for you, and are ready to give you all their love.”
“i don't really wanna think about that.. about being.. the lost prince.. i'm not strong enough to handle this. i just can't be a prince.”
Seonghwa suddenly held on your hand tightly.
“plus, as y/n said to me right before you came.. our worlds would be different, and i can't imagine a life without her/him anymore.”
“oh, Seonghwa.. if you indeed are the lost prince.. why would you have to break up with her/him? that doesn't make sense. the King and the Queen would be thankful she/he was here for you throughout this tough moment of your life. and rules are less strict than you think! there is no reason they won't accept your soulmate.”
you frowned. you studied a lot royalty, monarchy and everything which was related to this world. and it was even your speciality.
“but every books i've read, and every people i talked to about this agreed with me: there is a lack of freedom as a prince. King and Queen often rule their child's life.”
the woman laughed. you wondered if she was in pain or something. her laugh almost sounded hypocrite and fake.
“what's written in books are not always true. things are not set for ever. they evolve through the time.”
Seonghwa squeezed your hand softly, and rested his head on your shoulders. he whispered ‘we'll see later’ to you. you were looking down to your hands linked together. the woman was looking at you both, with the same protection she showed before.
the whole atmosphere was less tensed than before.
###
later in the day, in a different place.
the woman was now wearing her crown again. she was stunnier than before. her hair was again tied up in the most gracefully way possible. her dress was quite simple, way different from the large dress from our clichés: white, with trompet sleeves, not that huge and with beautiful details.
she was walking through the corridors, and stopped in front of a door leading to a large living room. there were hundreds and hundreds of books on different shelfs. the room was bright because of the sun rays, and the light colours of the room.
a man was standing in front of a window. he was wearing a crown too. no need to be smart to know he was the woman's husband. she approached him slowly.
“each new days without our son is hurtful..”
the man said almost in a whisper. this words weren't enough to describe the pain in his heart the destiny took his son away from him, his only treasure.
“i talked to him today. he's so beautiful.. he looks like you.”
“you.. what?”
the man turned over to face his wife. she seemed to be happy, after 16 years of sadness.
“you don't want to stay updated with the news because you're afraid we finf our son. you're afraid of the day we will be reunited together, because you missed him so much that you don't know how you will react. or you're afraid we may learn we've found our son, but dead. you're afraid of good and bad news. but i'm not. this little human lived inside of me for 9 months. i held his head when i had to breastfeed him. he's the only one for whom i went on my knees to tie his shoes. he's the only one i cried for when he came to the world.”
the woman wiped away few tears. she was trying to hold them back, but it was hurting even more: she needed to cry. not to mention the knot in her throat because of her tears.
“he means the world to him and, unlike you, i'm waiting for this day they would say they found him, or they have a serious trail. and today.. they said they were having a trail.”
“what do you mean..?”
the man seemed to be too shocked to process. any information seemed to be fully understood.
“it's been a while i didn't say 'Seonghwa'..”
the man approached his wife, and took her shoulders. his eyes were teary. he couldn't believe what he's heard from his wife. he waited for this day for so long..
“when i'm seriously thinking about abdicating.. stars give me my son back to take my place..”
he kissed his wife's forehead. the emotions were taking the leads, and he couldn't hold back his tears anymore.
“so you were serious, in this letter..”
“you found it?”
the king sighed. he starred to walk around, aimlessly, and stopped again in front of the window.
“the waiting is so hard for me. it consumed all my energy. and i'm getting old.. i don't want the country to see me getting old, and i'm not living in my time to take decision. i wanted to wait for fleur-de-lis to come back before making this letter public. the country needs him as a king now. and a new queen.”
“i'm not sure he's ready for that.. and his girlfriend/boyfriend either.”
she sat on a sofa, looking at his husband's shapes.
“his what?”
“hey, understand him. understand them. he has no idea he's a prince. and even though she/he believes Seonghwa is the prince, just as the policemen in charge of the case, Seonghwa doesn't want to hear this possibility. he just followed his heart by dating her/him. he wasn't doing anything else because he has no idea of the rules.”
the woman was strongly protecting your relationship with his son. she would let her body and her soul to protect you both in front of the king, because one thing she concluded about the meeting is that you were both in love and none of you was ready to face this.
“they're of course not ready to hear the truth one moment or another. they're afraid their worlds would be different and they would have to break up.”
“that's true! they have to break up! it's not the rules, and he has to marry a real princess, not a peasant!"
“first, because she/he comes from an another background doesn't mean she/he is a peasant. you better take this back, Park Junghoon. then, you can't break them apart. you know he still can lives by his someone's sides, even though their worlds are different. and finally, if you go against them, i doubt you would have a heir. do you wanna stay there until you die so i take the leads instead because you don't have a heir — or should i say because you refused to let him live his love story for shitty rules? do you wanna be the king until your last breath? do you want your country to see you getting old, and to see you die? do you want your only son to be mad at you because you imposed him your rules when the only thing he was asking for was to be reunited again with his family by his girlfriend's/boyfriend's sides?”
she was speaking firmly to be sure his husband would understand. but honestly, it wasn't the first time they were arguing. since someone took their son away from them, their relationship got even more fragile days after days.
“no, you don't. so if you wanna make this letter public, you better accept her/him when he'll be back. or else, you would definitely lose him. and me this time. no queen anymore, no prince as future king, no daughter-in-law/son-in-law anymore to be a future queen/king. you'd be alone and you'd have to stay there until the end.”
the queen stood up from her sofa, and started to walk away.
“take this as a way to thank him/her. because since the very first day they met each other until now, she/he never let Seonghwa down. and for the moment, Seonghwa has no one else. without this person by his side, i don't even think he would still be alive..”
she opened the door. but before leaving, she stopped to add one last thing.
“your daughter-in-law/son-in-law, if you accept it, is Choi y/n.”
the woman left the room. the king was speechless — he knew his wife was right. he couldn't take you away from Seonghwa. impossible.
###
after the woman left Seonghwa's room, you gave your boyfriend his clothes to be comfortable in his own clothes rather than in the hospital's clothes. and you even changed yourself in more comfortable clothes.
Seonghwa ate the meal tray normally, and the nurse even did her best to get you one to eat with him. it wasn't the best food you've ever eaten, yet it was enough for you.
and after this moment with him, eating and talking about everything and anything, you both layed down in each other's arms. you were looking through the window, at the starry night.
“a clear night like that.. it reminds me of our prom date.”
you were almost daydreaming, thinking about this night.
“it was literally two days ago.”
Seonghwa gently mocked you. he was looking at your sparkling eyes with a bright smile.
“prince of my heart, don't make fun of me.”
“the only kingdom i wanna rule.”
Seonghwa giggled as he pulled you closer to his chest. he even kissed your forehead multiple times.
“i really don't want to be the prince. i hope my family is somewhere else..”
“if we forget about the fact that would mean having a statute.. i just wish you find your family. them or not, i don't care. i want to thank your real mom for giving birth to you.”
you wrapped both your arms around your boyfriend's waist. you also rested your head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat.
“i'm afraid to meet my parents, to be honest.. i don't know how things will be going.”
“i understand the unknown may scare you. but you can't avoid this for ever. it's hurting you, you know that. and it's hurting them. you'll get to know the truth about what happened. there's a lot to win by finding them, and meeting them.”
Seonghwa only nodded. he was now the one looking at the dark sky while you were half asleep against his chest, under the blanket. the stars and the mood was lightening up perfectly the room, without making it too bright. it didn't take you too much time to fall into a light sleep.
“i'm so afraid y/n... i don't wanna lose you by meeting them.. you said the truth thinking about me but.. i'm ready to give up on my family for you..”
he kissed your forehead as he held you tighter. he was looking at you sleeping, and quickly fell asleep too.

Steady Breath (Artrius)
Marius tried on another suit, looking himself over in a floor length mirror.
"Sexy or handsome?"
"Uh, it seems more like dressing like daddy to me."
"Vincent, you want to keep your job, right?" Marius said coolly.
"You told me to be honest, so I was." Vincent retorted.
Marius sighed, going back to change into his street clothes. He didn't have to get all snappy.
"So which did you think looked best on me?" Marius asked as they left the shop.
"The light gray tux with gold trimming on the inside and silk lining. It'll definitely turn heads." smiled Vincent.
"Really? I guess you do have taste."
"I was merely thinking of what would make your fiancé speechless the day of the wedding."
Vincent truly was irreplaceable to him. He didn't want to think of the possible wrong choices he could've ended up making.
"You know, I'm in such a good mood I'll give you the rest of the day off. Though, still answer if it's an emergency."
"I wouldn't have it any other way. Though, are you sure you don't need me?" he questioned.
"I'll be with my fiancé. If anything, he'll gun them down before I can fully panic." snorted Marius, getting into the car.
Vincent wasn't sure whether to be impressed or scared.
•
"Gimme a hug."
"No."
"Gimme a hug."
"No."
"I'll take your work away."
No response. Marius finally had enough, sitting on his work.
"Marius-"
"Don't Marius me. You already work enough at the office. When you're home, you're supposed to relax. And if you have a partner, you relax with them." Marius explained, holding his face in his hands. "You've done overtime thrice this week you know..."
"Alright, fine. What do you want to do?"
Marius frowned. Why was he making it sound like a chore?
"Sorry for just wanting to cuddle with my fiancé, Artem..."
Artem exhaled, pulling Marius onto his lap.
"You know very well I didn't mean it like that, so stop pouting. Don't make me pinch those cheeks."
Artem laughed heartily, Marius covering his cheeks with his hands.
"Do you still want to cuddle?"
"Of course..."
It felt nice, just the two of them in this moment. He could feel Artem's steady breath on his neck and the warmth leaving his hands to warm his entire body. He held Artem tighter, listening to the quiet background noise that intermingled with Artem's breathing. Marius glanced down, seeing Artem's eyes were closed as if he too was taking this moment in and treasuring it.
"Artem."
"Mm."
"I'm glad I'm with you. I can't imagine being anywhere but here."
"M- Me too... You make me very happy. Extremely happy."
The two locked hands, letting out pleased sighs. Soon they would be wed. Though, it didn't matter to either whether they were official in the government's eye or not. They knew their love didn't need a fancy label, not even a physical symbol. Sometimes it was just obvious in the way they spoke, or the way they acted, even the way they looked at the other.
"I love you."
Artem lifted his head, meeting Marius' loving gaze. It had taken him ages to get this comfortable yet he was never able to articulate the same words. Yet today... today...
"I love you too."
They shared a kiss, Artem burying his face in the nape of Marius' neck afterwards. Relaxing was more refreshing than he thought. He would definitely do it more often if Marius was around.
