I need people to see what Bruce might become if he ever went against his no kill rule in the form of his parents in an alternate universe. I need them to see Batman—Thomas Wayne—who basically massacred criminals and actively did not give a shit when killing them.

I need them to see his mother who went insane and became the Joker—just as bad as the one they knew. I want them to see why the no kill rule is so fucking important to him because this shit is basically in his blood. Make him kill and there's no turning back from that shit. He's good and he'll turn himself in, but Batman also knows that crime will not stop and might just not do that.

I want to see Bruce seeing what happened to his parents and feels the pure and utter horror that he might become them if he ever killed a person. I want him to look at Martha and think he'll become the next Joker if he killed him. I want him to see Thomas and think that this is who he'll become if he starts being careless of the lives he's against.

I want to read about Bruce Wayne, Batman seeing his parents and feeling the pure and utter dread that he might become like them. Because even though he loves his parents with his all his heart, soul, and mind, he's still so fucking scared that he'll become these version of them where their sense of vengeance was different from his.
