I'm thinking about Dick and the other batkids never openly disagreeing/arguing with Bruce in front of other capes/non bats, and what an abrupt and startingly change it must be for anyone to suddenly be considered family and watching the arguments and fights and petty drama they all have with each other in private. I'm just imagining Clark being stunned the first time he hears, sweet, loyal, obedient Dick call Bruce a dumb bitch who he hopes chokes on his over overinflated ego and self righteous, because this is why everyone hates you B!

Clark is equally stunned when Dick, at breakfast (brunch for anyone else) the next morning is chatting cheerfully with Bruce and the rest of the family, and gives Bruce a quick kiss on the cheek on his way out the door. The whiplash alone leaves Clark gaping senselessly.

The whiplash comes from Clark realizing that Dick wasn’t lying one bit when he said both sentences 🤣

Hello! Sorry in advance for the long ask.

I know you’ve responded to an ask talking about Curlys eyes, but I just have to compliment you in your design and emphasis on his eyes. I feel like in most art his eyes are portrayed as mostly normal looking eyes, not too wide, and that’s fine! That’s how it is in the game. But when comparing pre-crash curly and post-crash curly, that are already very different in appearance, the eyes being different helps with the rift between the two that can make it hard to really grasp that those two are the same person, even if I in theory know they are the same.

But when looking at your art, with its fantastic design, and seeing Curlys wide eyes pre-crash and his one wide eye post-crash, my brain finally understand; Oh, that’s Curly.

Your art and design is so incredibly skilled, I wish you the best!

And yea Curly's blue eyes to me are his key identifiable feature because it's present in both of his forms. I don't draw post crash Curly often but he IS the iconic poster boy of the game, so I think his pre crash self also has to look like him somewhat. 'Cause that's the same guy.

The thing about the whole Bruce and Clark deciding to sleep together once to get it out of their system, is that it would wholeheartedly eat them up inside just how incredible it was but also 'whose stupid idea was it to call this a one off????'.

Needless to say, they both talk and come to the super smart, 'this is the best outcome possible in order to maintain optimal working conditions' decision and decide to make it a once a month thing... scratch that let's make it once a week.

...You know what, how about whenever we're stressed?

Exactly. The problem isn’t that the sex is good (it’s GREAT). It’s the intimacy and the chance to be vulnerable and protected at the same time by the “one-off” mentality. If Bruce makes an inadvertent noise during sex because it feels so good being held, that’s fine because they both agreed this is just to get those exact feelings out and then never do it again.

Except then a week later Clark sees Hal chatting Bruce up in the gym and nearly crushes an entire door with the strange sudden devastation ripping through him (not jealousy, not really)
