thinking about fwb fics and even though i already wrote one for floyd (omegaverse fwb) i'd like to write one that's more fleshed out (like contractual codependency and tmdg).

azul's fwb was contractual and done out of a need for something (reader needed more resources for keeping ramshackle in good shape and azul wanted a convenient cover so drugging her with love potion would be seamless).

jade's fwb is defined by "you're not him, but you look like him and so it will do." he benefits from it because he gets to spend time with you and he uses your love for floyd to his advantage to get you to do things you'd never do with him.

for floyd's fwb fic i'm thinking,,,, ex-boyfriend floyd who becomes your rebound after your most recent (now ended) relationship with [insert twst character here]. part of me wants to make it jade for sibling rivalry antics, but then i also like the idea of it being someone from the basketball club. maybe you've dated everyone in the basketball club (everyone: jamil, ace, floyd) and you're back to who you began with initially: floyd. maybe you agree casual sex is fine because neither of you have feelings for the other, right? floyd's just in it to have fun and so are you. there's some sort of yandere to be found here... ;;;;; but then i love cheesy and fluffy romances. orz it is my greatest weakness, as is an angst-tinged romance.

i need to write floyd slowly realizing it's not just the horny grip that has him acting so goofy. he's genuinely in love with you and those feelings have stayed with him even after the two of you first broke up. i need him to realize the reason he gets so angry whenever he thinks about you with anyone else is because he's jealous and wants you all to himself; because he loves you and the thought of you being apart from him makes him shrivel with discomfort. i need him to be conflicted about the fwb because by mer standards the two of you would have been a mated pair already (because recurring fwb isn't a very common relationship dynamic in the sea. at least, not in the waters he's from).

i need him to know all of your favorites without faltering because when floyd likes something he commits it to memory and he really likes you. i need jamil and ace to be rooting for him in their own ways and maybe the lot of you can still be healthy friends despite being exes. :D i need azul and jade to scheme and push you closer to floyd so you can be more than his fuck buddy. maybe a little "kiss the eel" mischief in the mostro lounge. >:)

OHHHHHHH. perhaps that's it!!!!! azul's fwb was "no saying i love you." jade's is "don't let floyd find out we're doing this." and so maybe floyd's is all about no kissing because kissing makes it too real (in reader's opinion). the idea of floyd, who is so physical with his affections, having to withhold kisses (on the lips).......... aaaaaaaa he's going to go crazy...

Hi again! Before I started writing my fic, I just wanted to ask if you would be ok with the ocs I created knowing Ed from before they got isekai'd. I have 2 of them and I'll briefly summarize how each of them knew Ed from 'before' so to speak. Both of them use their 'actual' names which is why it takes them longer to realize Ed is the Ed they knew.

Pathaan D. 'Agh' Akhtar-Waqiyah (I'm using the same surname-first syntax like the One piece characters do) was going to be about 3 years older than Ed and either be a friend of Ed's mysterious sister or a fellow One Piece fan that Ed met at a con for one piece or something pre truck kun. I was planning on having her spend the timeskip under either fujitora's or Hancock's tutelage and refer to Ed as 'Elric' (fmab reference).

As for the other oc, her name is T.T. Josune (and yes the Ts stand for something lol). She was the oc I was a bit more iffy about because when I was fleshing her out, I pictured her to be an ex of Ed's or an old situationship (and yes, i was listening to Chapell Roan drafting these ocs 😔). As a result, I wasn't sure if you'd be comfortable with that, so I just wanted to check with you.

If you have any suggestions, it'd be really appreciated and I'd love to add them.

Love the idea of Agh knowing Ed's sister, I'd imagine before the... incident she'd be the cool older sibling who would drag Ed around with her friends to make them be social and just because her friends thought Ed was funny. I don't think Ed was much of a con person (they got that introvertism in them ✊😔) but they could have gone to one or two if you'd like to go that route. And her calling Ed Elric is HILARIOUS and I love it.

T. T. Josune is a BALLER ass name and I love it. Titty jokes galore. Ed is one of those people who figured out romance Was Not for them pretty early on, so they haven't had a lot of RELATIONSHIP relationships, but something with a more queerplatonic or fwb dynamic would work. Ed is very upfront with people about the aromantic thing and communicating that romance is never on the table with them, but they aren't opposed to exclusivity or commitment. Being exes or a situationship is fucking hilarious and has to much potential, I am 100% on board with that.

I love Boa Hancock. She is so very wonderful and such an amazing character, she just touches a loooot of boxes that can be. A little odd. I'm going to try and portray her in a very specific way, but I don't want to change or nudge things so much as to take away from her character. Boa is a very careful balancing act but I have so much love for that insane ass woman.

she struggled to connect with their daughter ivy, that "newborn spark" wasn't there, it was awkward.

ALSO, at this time, arden was struggling with gender dysphoria and they were starting to realise that she wasn't vibing with being a girl/mother, it was a whole confusing mess.

they ended up breaking things off with ivy's dad, and they moved back in with their dad, who was very helpful in looking after little baby ivy.

they also went into therapy, they got diagnosed with postpartum depression. they also did their research into gender and realised that they were non-binary!!

nowadays, they are doing so much better, they've moved out of their father's home and into their own apartment with ivy.

arden adores ivy now, they are so close, think lorelai and rory gilmore, but it's a healthy relationship.

they still work in their dad's shop, he's still very supportive of her!!

The family was obviously heart broken and their life had changed forever. Nakia had tried to step up and help out as much as he could and never tried to make life hard for his mother.

Which was why he never complained about how he was getting tired all the time and in pain. He didn't think there was much to be concerned about and there was no reason to worry his mother. It wasn't until other people started noticing did Nakia agree to get checked out by his doctor. Again the family was completely changed when it was revealed that Nakia had Leukemia.

He tried to be upbeat during the whole process but overall it left him pretty jaded. But hey at least he got an arch nemesis out of it!

Since getting his life back he's been trying to live life to the fullest. Finding his art passion in the hospital he knew that was the only thing he wanted to do from now on. Lucas was born and raised in Sydney, Australia to Minjoon and Yuna Bang. His parents made sure to teach him about his culture as well as make sure he knew how to speak both English and Korean at a young age. Just after he started his first year in school, his little sister was born who he adores a ton. As he got older, Lucas found himself getting more interested in art which then turned into getting more into getting the chance to tattoo his art onto someone. He only kept it as a side things he was interested in since he knew he wanted to make sure he had a job that he'd do well in especially for his parents sake.

Lucas one day decided to buy his own tattoo gun along with the fake skin to practice so he could at least try his hand at this. ABOUT (cw for physical child abuse)

Grew up the only child of a Spanish supermodel and an Italian action movie star (popular enough that you'd know them in their respective countries, but it's doubtful those in the states would know them by name), and lived a life of a spoiled celebrity's kid on the outside. But within closed doors, it wasn't as bright and shiny. Think Logan Echolls both in home life and behavior.

After a particularly bad night in the Vinciguerra household which resulted in injuries bad enough to land Dom in the hospital, he finally had leverage against his father, and was able to blackmail the man into giving him a fairly unlimited trust fund.

He partied about for awhile, wasted some time, but eventually knew the only way to escape his father's shadow was to make one of his own. So he decided to go into business doing what he knew best: partying.

He wanted Las Vegas, but even with his funds, that shit was pricy, so he settled for opening up his night club, Puente, in Tonopah Valley. Perhaps he would have been better off in Vegas, having been oblivious to all the pipers he'd have to pay for his business to flourish.

Puente is known for it's decadence and feeling like you're walking into a den of sin, but with a high end feel to it.

Sarcasm is Dom's first language (okay, fine Italian was, technically), and literally doesn't know how to be genuine to save his life.

He's the type of person who despite his charisma and silver tongue, doesn't consider himself to have any true friends. Despite how much he talks, no one actually knows a whole lot about him.

Dom isn’t a person with a lot of close connections, and some may say it’s a bit pathetic that one of his closest is his personal assistant/right hand person at Puente. But out of all his connections in the states, this person probably knows the most about him. From his coffee order to way that raising his right brow instead of his left means what kind of day he’s having. And while Dom goes out of his way not to know people, he’s learned a lot about this muse without meaning to as well. Due to this sort of reluctant closeness, I think this is one of the only people who Dom will take shit from.
